Paloma Faith: ‘I can sing better now I’ve had a baby’

OHMYGOSSIP — Paloma Faith thinks motherhood has made her a “better” singer.
The 36-year-old singer gave birth to her first child – who she has with her partner Leyman Lahcine – in December last year, and though the artist “never really felt” like a “proper singer”, she believes that has all changed and having a baby has made her “lung capacity bigger” , which has affected her voice.
The ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’ hitmaker said: “I never really felt I was a proper singer. I always felt like I was a sort of impersonator of a singer for a long time. You can even listen to my first album and hear it, that I wasn’t very good then. I’ve learned later in life and on the job.
“And this is going to sound mad, but I feel like I can sing better now I’ve had a baby, that something’s changed in my body. My lung capacity is bigger and I feel more alive and stronger, more enduring, and that’s affected my voice and opened something up in my brain that’s saying ‘you can’. Before there was a ‘you can’t’, an almost physical inability.”
And the former ‘The Voice’ judge has admitted records she used to struggle performing are not as “difficult” now, although her new album ‘The Architect’ is more challenging “singing-wise” than her previous releases.
She said: “Songs I used to find difficult aren’t any more. But I do feel this album is a challenge singing-wise, because I’ve got some big songs on there. Yeah, I might have shot myself in the foot there. Anyway, a lot of people have commented on how my voice sounds worlds apart from the first album. It’s to do with experience and hard work I think.”
Paloma – who won the British Female Solo Artist gong at the Brit Awards in 2015 – always fears the release of a new song or LP will be the “ruination” of her career in the music business.
Speaking to the Scotsman Online, she said: “I always feel like the next one’s the one that’s going to be the ruination of my career. I start thinking, ‘OK, what am I going to do if this doesn’t work?’.
“I don’t think it is irrational in this current music climate because look at some of the massive artists that came out at the same time as me – like Duffy, where’s Duffy? I don’t think anything’s guaranteed, everything’s changing. With this album, Spotify is the most powerful thing on the planet now, and I don’t have a Spotify following, so I am literally trying to build it now.”
But Paloma wants her music career to have longevity because she loves performing live and has admitted taking to the stage to entertain crowds is the “only reason” she is a singer.
She said: “Performing live, it’s the only reason I do this job. There’s something about it that makes you feel very alive, having to deal with the moment. I love seeing people’s faces and the instant feedback. There’s also the concept of human fallibility and I like when things go a bit wrong. People don’t remember the perfect gigs, the memorable ones are the not perfect ones.”

Noel Gallagher: Liam needs help

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher insists his brother Liam needs to get help with his “anger” problem.
The 50-year-old guitarist has been saying his former Oasis bandmate needs to seek the help of a psychiatrist since he publicly hit out at him for not performing at Ariana Grande’s charity concert, which was staged a few weeks after a terrorist attack at her concert in their home city of Manchester.
Addressing his sibling’s behaviour at a press conference in Italy recently, Noel said: “The other stuff with Liam is f***ing crazy, because that other fella seems very angry about something and no one is quite sure what it is.
“But if someone does please let me know. I think he needs therapy, I think he needs a psychiatrist.”
Noel – who insists he wasn’t asked to perform at the star-studded-concert – found himself under attack by Liam again when he headlined the reopening of Manchester Arena in June and appeared emotional while singing ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’.
At the time, Noel refused to criticise Liam for his decision to play his own comeback single, ‘Wall of Glass’, at the Manchester tribute concert.
He simply said: “Well, my instinct, were I young, high and drunk, would be to go on a rant. But I’m dignified now.”
The ‘Death of You and Me’ hitmaker can’t understand why his fractured relationship with Liam – who he has barely spoken to since their group Oasis split in 2009 – has influenced so many of his sibling’s songs, especially when he has other personal issues, such as the 2014 breakdown of his marriage to Nicole Appleton, to draw inspiration from.
He said previously: “You’d think he’d write songs about his divvy ex-wife, having just been divorced from her, know what I mean?”

Taylor Swift feels ‘so lucky’ to have a successful music career

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift feels “so lucky” to have a successful career in the music business.
The 27-year-old singer has admitted there are positives and negatives to being thrust into the limelight, and though there is a “beautiful, lovely side” to being in the public eye for over 10 years, which has enabled her to release hit tracks and entertain fans, she has admitted there is a downside to her job, which sees her songwriting “trivialised”, and her “mistakes” used against her.
Speaking openly in a note she penned and included in hard copies of her new album ‘Reputation’ sold at Target stores, it read: “I’ve been in the public eye since I was 15 years old. On the beautiful, lovely side of that, I’ve been so lucky to make music for a living and look out into crowds of loving, vibrant people.
“On the other side of the coin, my mistakes have been used against me, my heartbreaks have been used as entertainment, and my songwriting has been trivialised as ‘oversharing’.”
But the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker believes people have “chosen to show” certain characteristics, and social media allows people to “curate” a vision of themselves they want others to believe is the “truth”.
She continued: “This is the first generation that will be able to look back on their entire life story documented in pictures on the internet, and together we will all discover the after-effects of that.
“Ultimately we post photos online to curate what strangers think of us. But then we wake up, look in the mirror at our faces and see the cracks and scars and blemishes, and cringe.
“We are never just good or just bad. We are mosaics of our worst selves and our best selves, our deepest secrets and our favourite stories to tell at a dinner party, existing somewhere between our well-lit profile photo and our drivers license shot.
“Let me say it louder again, louder for those in the back … We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them they have chosen to show us.”

Liam Payne can’t wait for One Direction reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne “can’t wait” for One Direction to get back together.
The ‘Bedroom Floor’ singer thinks it’s “insane” his band have equalled the Beatles record of having three members have their solo albums top the charts, and his pride in Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Niall Horan only makes him more excited for the ‘Little Things’ hitmakers to end their hiatus and reunite.
Liam – who, along with Louis Tomlinson, hasn’t yet released a solo record – said: “It’s amazing. Congratulations to Niall [on his recent album release].
“I can’t believe the band are breaking records nearly every week while we’re on hiatus. It’s quite insane.
“But it makes me more proud to be a part of it and I can’t wait for the comeback.”
The 24-year-old singer – who has seven-month-old son Bear with partner Cheryl Tweedy – thinks interest in One Direction has stayed high because of social media and he’s thrilled the band are still popular, even though it’s been 18 months since they went their separate ways.
He told OK! magazine “We’re the first band to have a break in the eye of social media and I Think that’s helped us a lot because before you couldn’t see what people were up to and now it’s all on Instagram stories.
“So I think that’s had a massive effect on it.
“It’s been fantastic and we keep on going, but obviously great music brings musical success and everyone is doing fantastic so far.
“I just found out my song is the ninth most-listened-to song of the summer on Spotify. That’s amazing. I’m in the top 10? That’s crazy.”

Noel Gallagher: Liam sounds like Adele shouting into bucket

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher has slated his brother Liam’s solo music comparing it to “Adele shouting into a bucket”.
The 50-year-old guitarist – who has barley spoken to Liam since he walked out on the rock ‘n’ roll band in 2009 – has also slammed his arch enemy and former Oasis bandmate’s “army of songwriters”, which includes ‘Hello’ hitmaker Adele’s world famous producer Greg Kurstin.
Asked if he’s heard any of the songs from the 45-year-old singer’s number one debut solo LP ‘As You Were’, Noel told the new issue of I-D magazine: “I’ve heard ‘Wall of Glass’ and the one that sounds like Adele shouting into a bucket. But I’m not a fan so I wouldn’t listen to it.”
And when told that Liam’s voice was sounding “good”, Noel hit back: “But we’re not striving for good are we? We’re striving for great.”
The ‘Fort Knox’ songwriter – who penned most of the Britpop group’s hits – says he won’t waste his time critiquing an album with so many co-writers, and compared his brother’s solo career path to that of One Direction’s Niall Horan.
He continued: “I’m not sure I can be arsed formulating an opinion on a record that’s written by an army of songwriters. Isn’t the one from One Direction doing that?
“The little Irish fella with the acoustic? At least he has the decency to play a guitar. I’m not a fan.
“I have nothing to say about it.”
Despite his negative view of Liam’s songs, when the ‘Some Might Say’ hitmaker first heard his brother was going solo, he thought it was “about time”.
However, since Liam has been roasting him on Twitter, he couldn’t care less as long as he continues to “promote” his new solo record with High Flying Birds, ‘Who Built The Moon?’.
Asked if he supports Liam’s career as his brother, he said: “No. I think at the beginning, from this side of the fence, there was a lot of good will as in, yeah, man, I f***ing hope it works. It’s about time.
“But that’s all gone now because it got personal.
“So it’s like, f***k what he does. As long as he keeps promoting my record, there’s a good boy.”
Noel says he’s not bothered what Liam does next, but he says there is no chance of them mending their rift or reuniting Oasis.
He concluded: “I don’t give a f**k as long as he promotes it on his twitter feed.
“It’s like, I’m over here doing my thing, you’re over there doing my thing, and never the twain shall meet, thank you very much.”

Eminem to perform at MTV EMAs

OHMYGOSSIP — Eminem is set to perform at the MTV European Music Awards (EMAs) for the first time in four years.
The 45-year-old rapper – who has a whopping 15 EMA gongs to his name – will take to the stage at the glitzy awards show in London on Sunday (12.11.17) to perform the first global performance of his new single ‘Walk on Water’.
Bruce Gillmer, Head of Music and Music Talent, Global Entertainment Group, Viacom, and executive producer of the 2017 MTV EMAs, said: “With 35 EMA nominations and 15 wins under his belt, Eminem is no stranger to the EMAs and we’re thrilled to announce his highly anticipated debut will take place at our biggest night in music.”
Eminem last performed at the MTV EMAs in Amsterdam in 2013, where he wowed crowds with his tracks ‘Berzerk’ and ‘Rap God’, and his performance this year will mark his fourth at the annual event.
During the same ceremony in 2013, the star was honoured with the coveted Global Icon Award, as well as taking home the gong for Best Hip Hop Artist.
This year, Eminem – whose real name is Marshall Mathers – is also in with a chance of swiping two more awards for his growing collection, as he’s been nominated for Best Hip Hop Artist once again, as well as Best Live Act.
The ‘Love The Way You Lie’ hitmaker joins a star-studded list of performers at this year’s ceremony, including the likes of U2, Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato, Liam Payne, Camila Cabello, Kesha, The Killers, Stormzy, Travis Scott, French Montana, David Guetta, and Clean Bandit, as well as the show’s host Rita Ora.
Meanwhile, Eminem took to Instagram earlier this week to tease his new single, when he shared a doctor’s note with the words “Walk on Water” written on it along with the advice of “take as needed”.
The note also has the phone number “1-833-2GET-REV” and the website www.askaboutrevival.com printed on it.
Those who click on the URL are taken to a fake drug website, which is all about conditions which the fictitious drug REVIVAL can treat.
Along with a video the homepage reads: “Are you ready for REVIVAL?
REVIVAL is proven to effectively treat people with Atrox Rithimus. If you’ve tried other treatments without getting the AR symptom relief you need, REVIVAL could be music to your ears.
“Hikers in video not actual AR sufferers/hikers. (sic)”
The 2017 MTV EMAs will take place at The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Sunday, November 12.

Janet Jackson accepts Music Icon Award at OUT100 gala

OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson was honoured with the Music Icon award at OUT magazine’s OUT100 gala on Thursday (09.11.17).
The ‘That’s The Way Love Goes’ hitmaker was recognised by the magazine – which is written for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community – for her influential and acclaimed five-decade spanning pop career.
Janet – the sister of the late Michael Jackson – used her acceptance speech to thank the staff at the magazine for their recognition and for all their work in helping people come to terms and embrace their sexuality.
Speaking at the ceremony in New York City, she said: “Words are necessary and mine are few so I’m going to try and speak from my heart. My heart says thank you, your appreciation means the world to me. My heart says thank you for being and having the courage to be who you are. Thank you for giving others the courage to be who they are.”
The 51-year-old singer also took the time to comment on the stage of the world, and promote a message of unity and “encouragement”.
She added: “My heart says so much of today’s public discourse is ugly, so much prejudice, so much bullying, so much narrow minded bigotry but then my heart says look at you people here tonight.
“You’re so loving, so giving, so willing to let the world know that differences don’t matter. Differences are beautiful, diversity is a gift. We’re all different, we’re all the same, we’re all vulnerable, were all in need of acceptance and encouragement.”
Janet – who welcomed her baby boy Eissa into the world in January 2017 – even took inspiration from her own lyrics in her speech, recalling a line from 1997 hit ‘Together Again’.
She said: “Everywhere I go, every smile I see, I know you are there, smilin’ back at me.”

Noel Gallagher blasts ‘political’ Dave Grohl

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher has slammed bands like Foo Fighters and Green Day for writing “boring” songs about politics.
The former Oasis guitarist has turned on the group’s respective frontmen and songwriters, Dave Grohl and Billie Joe Armstrong, for moaning about the latest headlines on their songs, and says they should be thinking of ways to be more “revolutionary”, like himself, and writing “joyous” music.
In an interview uploaded to YouTube by Sound Bites, Noel ranted: “I think that it’s very easy for guys with guitars to pick up those guitars these days and just sing about what’s on the news.
“I don’t know what the point of all of that is. I think to write songs in this day and age that are full of joy and hope, is almost revolutionary.
“I think that guitar music has become more about f***ing shouting, like Dave Grohl, what’s he on about? Green Day, and the guy from Queens of the Stone Age, what are they shouting about? They’re shouting about the f***ing news. Who wants to sing about the news?”
He added: “The news is boring. Donald Trump is f***ing boring. Politics is boring. The little fat guy from North Korea, he looks funny, but he’s f***ing boring.
“So why would you want to write music about that [stuff]? I think to write songs about joy and hope is f***ing revolutionary. There, I just said it, revolutionary.”
Noel – who is gearing up to release his third solo LP with High Flying Birds ‘Who Built The Moon?’ on November 24 – previously admitted he misses the “raging joy” in music.
The ‘Some Might Say’ songwriter lamented the “golden age” of pop, when people didn’t pay attention to a song’s lyrics and just wanted to lose themselves in the track, and claimed the likes of Travis and Coldplay have changed the face of the genre with their desire to be regarded as “artists”.
He recently fumed: “I grew up in the golden age of pop, late 1970s, early 1980s.
“Nobody talked about lyrics. You listened. You danced. It affected your life. Who cares what it’s about?
“[When did it change?] Around Britpop, when everybody wanted to be considered ‘an artist’.
“When Travis and Coldplay came and it was all introverted, why-does-it- always-rain-on-me? It’s not just raining on you. It’s raining on everyone. I’d rather write a song about the umbrella, not the f***ing rain.
“Look at everybody’s first Britpop album. Oasis’. Blur’s. Pulp’s. Raging joy.
“I suppose it did get darker when drugs took over, yeah. And then you end up with the Libertines – lads with no teeth and their grandads’ hats.”

Tears For Fears kept Dan Smith on I Love You But I’m Lost

OHMYGOSSIP — Tears For Fears kept Bastille’s Dan Smith on the song they co-wrote together – but didn’t tell him.
The ‘The Hurting’ hitmakers – Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith – worked with the ‘Pompeii’ singer and his band’s producer Mark Crew on one of their first pieces of music in 13 years, the song ‘I Love You But I’m Lost’, and admit they should probably pay him for his vocal appearance.
Roland revealed: “Dan Smith from Bastille is singing on it, I don’t think he realises it but we kept it. We may have to pay him.”
The song was born out of him and Dan having a sing-off and competing to be the loudest.
Explaining how it came about, Roland said: “We were asked to write with the band Bastille so Dan and Mark Crew, the band’s producer, ended up in a small windowless room in Battersea throwing around ideas.
“And the words ‘I Love You But I’m Lost’ came out of the ether.”
Meanwhile, the 56-year-old musician has admitted the duo’s last studio album, 2004’s ‘Everybody Loves A Happy Ending’, felt like the end.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: “Everybody Loves A Happy Ending’ seemed like a final album really … the full stop at the end of a sentence.”
Tears For Fears have seen a resurgence with the likes of Lorde and Kanye West covering their songs, and Curt says he’s even had people come up to him and compliment them on covering a song by the ‘All Day’ rapper, but he actually sampled their song ‘Memories Fade’ on 2008’s ‘Coldest Winter’.
He smiled: “We’ve had people come up to us after we’ve played ‘Memories Fade’ saying: ‘I think It’s wonderful that you do a Kanye West song.”
‘I Love You But I’m Lost’ and the track ‘Stay’ are two new songs on the pair’s Greatest Hits album ‘Rule The World’, which is out now.

Wyclef Jean takes on hip-hop scene with new mixtape

OHMYGOSSIP — Wyclef Jean is taking on some of this year’s biggest hip-hop hits on his upcoming new mixtape.
The former Fugees star is set to rework the likes of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DNA’, and Young Thug and Future’s collaboration ‘Killed Before’, by adding his own beats and rhymes to the original tracks.
Speaking to the BBC, he explained: “It’s going to be insane. Because, at the end of the day, can I go bar-for-bar with Kendrick?
You know I can – but to a kid, it’s going to sound pretty amazing.”
The ‘Killing Me Softly’ hitmaker has produced tunes for some of the world’s biggest acts, including ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ by Shakira and Santana’s ‘Maria Maria’.
The latter was sampled in DJ Khaled and Rihanna’s hit single ‘Wild Thoughts’, and Wyclef has promised the mixtape ‘Inspired’ will “mess with the kids the same way they mess with my material”.
He added: “They already called me a genius – but the true genius is what? When you’re able to reinvent genius over and over again.”
The 48-year-old rapper is planning to unveil the record “in a couple days”, following his eight studio album ‘Carnival III’ which was released in September.
It’s a quick turnaround, but Wyclef is keen to release a lot of music by 2019, as he explained as a youngster he always wondered why he should have to wait to put out his tunes.
He said: “As a kid I was always like, ‘What the hell? Why do I have to wait to put out music?’ So every couple of months for the next two years, we’re going to put out new music, feeding the fans, all over the world.”

Guns N’ Roses to headline Download Festival

OHMYGOSSIP — Guns N’ Roses will headline next year’s Download Festival with its iconic reformed line-up.
The trio of original members, singer Axl Rose, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan, reunited in 2016 for a tour, the first time they had all been part of the band since 1996.
The ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ rockers will be bringing their greatest hits to Donington Park in Leicestershire, England, to annual festival over the weekend of June 8-10.
The Saturday night headline slot will be this iteration of the group’s first UK festival appearance, and the Download boss Andy Copping is delighted to have Guns N’ Roses at the metal event.
The promoter said: “It’s great to have this iconic line up of Guns N’ Roses headlining at Download. I am sure I am not alone when I say I have been wanting this to happen for years. It will be an incredible show and will be one of the highlights of the Download weekend!”
The news follows previous confirmation that Avenged Sevenfold and Ozzy Osbourne will also be headlining the event next year.
Last year, Ozzy’s band Black Sabbath – also comprised of Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi – played one of their last ever shows at the festival, and the 68-year-old rocker is showing no signs of wanting to retire anytime soon as he is set to carry on with his solo career.
Andy added: “We’re unbelievably excited to have Ozzy as one of the headliners next year. Already hailing from the midlands, Ozzy Osbourne is no stranger to Download, and after Black Sabbath closed the festival in 2016, how could I not ask The Prince Of Darkness to come back all on his own? The Download family are without a shadow of a doubt, in for a treat.”
Further acts are expected to be announced in the coming months.

Elbow cover The Beatles for John Lewis Christmas advert

OHMYGOSSIP — Elbow have covered The Beatles’ ‘Golden Slumbers’ for the 2017 John Lewis Christmas advert.
The ‘One Day Like This’ group’s frontman Guy Garvey has provided the vocals on the track, which was originally penned by Sir Paul McCartney after he came across the score for the soothing 17th century children’s song ‘Cradle Song’ at his father’s house in Liverpool, for the high street store’s annual campaign.
Guy’s dulcet tones can be heard over a farting and snoring monster as the tale of seven-year-old Joe, who strikes up an unlikely friendship with the seven-foot beast called Moz, who keeps him up all night snoring, unfolds.
McCartney, 75, couldn’t read the sheet music at the time because he was so young, so he ended up making up his own version of the lullaby.
Eventually, the song was recorded by the ‘Let It Be’ rockers in July 1969, when the group’s late singer and songwriter John Lennon was added as a co-writer on the track, which appeared on their LP ‘Abbey Road’ as part of a medley with ‘Carry That Weight’ and ‘The End’.
It’s the second time a Beatles hit has been used for the annual festive commercial, as Tom Odell covered ‘Real Love’ in 2014.
The song was written by Lennon in the 70s, but was released in early 1995 with additional recordings from the three surviving Beatles, McCartney, Ringo Starr and the late George Harrison – who died in 2002 – for ‘The Beatles Anthology’ project.
At present, it’s the last ever recording of new material The Beatles released as a band.
The ‘Another Love’ hitmaker was the soundtrack to the story of Monty the penguin, who goes tobogganing with a young boy.
Last year, electronic pop group Vaults put their own spin on Randy Crawford’s 1980 jazz hit ‘One Day I’ll Fly Away’.
The likes of Ellie Goulding, Aurora and Lily Allen have all recorded covers for the advert in the past.

Ed Sheeran’s Perfect video was inspired by East 17

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran’s new music video was inspired by East 17.
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter stars alongside ‘Beautiful Creatures’ actress Zoey Deutch in a snow-filled video for his track ‘Perfect’, and Ed has revealed it was loosely based around the English boyband’s ‘Stay Another Day’, which was the UK Christmas number one in 1994.
Ed explained: “Every Christmas you go on a music channel and there’s The Best Christmas Songs, and East 17’s ‘Stay Another Day’ is in there.
“That’s not a Christmas song but it has snow in the video.”
‘Perfect’ is an ode to his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn, and Ed admitted East 17 prompted him to use snow in the video.
He told The Sun newspaper: “They’re all in their puffer jackets in the snow and it’s become a Christmas song. I’m like, ‘That’s really clever. That gets played every year now because it’s got snow in the video’.
“So, with the ‘Perfect’ video I thought, right, let’s put snow in it.”
Meanwhile, actress Saoirse Ronan, who appears alongside the chart-topping star in his ‘Galway Girl’ video, recently revealed she purposely misspelled Ed’s tattoo.
In the video, she is seen inking the song’s title into his arm, and misspelling ‘Girl’ as ‘Grill’.
The actress explained: “It’s not a mistake. Ed got up on stage like two days after we did it and said that I had made the mistake, and it made me look illiterate.
“And I’m just here to say that it was all planned. Because we thought it would be funny and edgy if we misspelled ‘Girl’ and made it ‘Grill’ instead. Because we’re so clever.”

Taylor Swift drops 6th album Reputation

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has dropped her sixth studio album ‘Reputation’ – and released a heartfelt letter to her fans.
The 27-year-old star’s latest record was released today (10.11.17) in the UK, and shortly before midnight on Thursday (09.11.17) in the US, and fans who have purchased a physical copy will have been treated to a note by the star in which she admits her “mistakes” have been used against her.
In the note, Taylor discusses her early dealings in the public eye and the highs and lows of fame – which has seen her publicly fall out with some stars and hit back at them in her tracks – and she also hits out at people for “trivialising” her songwriting.
She writes: “I’ve been in the public eye since I was 15 years old. On the beautiful, lovely side of that, I’ve been so lucky to make music for a living and look out into crowds of loving, vibrant people. On the other side of the coin, my mistakes have been used against me, my heartbreaks have been used as entertainment, and my songwriting has been trivialized as ‘oversharing’. (sic)”
Taylor also admits she has learned a lot about people recently, including that she only knows her friends in a “certain light” and warns supporters about the “after-effects” of social media.
She writes: “This is the first generation that will be able to look back on their entire life story documented in pictures on the internet, and together we will all discover the after-effects of that. Ultimately, we post photos online to curate what strangers think of us. But then we wake up, look in the mirror at our faces and see the cracks and scars and blemishes, and cringe. (sic)”
The letter concludes with a cryptic ending.
She writes: “Let me say it again, louder for those in the back …
“We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them that they have chosen to show us.
“There will be no further explanation.
“There will be just reputation.”
‘Reputation’ features a collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Future, titled ‘End Game’, and her recently released singles ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and ‘…Ready for It?’.
The 15-track album – produced by Jack Antonoff, Max Martin, Shellback and Taylor herself – is her first record for three years since ‘1989’, which was released in October 2014.

The 1975 EP delayed till 2018

OHMYGOSSIP — The 1975 won’t release their new EP until 2018.
Matt Healy had hinted that his band will drop a mini-album before next year’s third LP ‘Music For Cars’, but the band’s manager Jamie Oborne has confirmed it won’t be out this year, but they’ll be releasing a special treat for fans before 2017 is out.
Jamie wrote on Twitter: “So there is not going to be @the1975 EP in 2017. EP Will be 2018, BUT you will get something I personally love.
“Sorry but that’s all I can say right now. Oh, MFC is already sounding amazing. It will be worth the wait. Love you guys. X (sic)”
The British rockers – completed by Adam Hann, Ross MacDonald and George Daniel – previously confirmed they will drop ‘Music for Cars’, next year, and Matt teased fans another EP could also be on the cards.
He tweeted: “Okay – one more EP (sic)”
The ‘Love Me’ singer then shared what appears to be the name of the group’s new record.
He wrote: “What A Shame – The EP (sic)”
Explaining the album’s title, Matt said:”‘Music For Cars’ was an EP named for our love for Brian Eno.
“We’re using it as the album title now because of how meta and self-referential everything has become in the world of The 1975, and ‘Music For Cars’ was always my favourite title of everything we’d ever done, so it kinda made sense to wrap it up that way.”
The record is expected to drop on June 1, after the ‘Chocolate’ hitmaker tweeted the date out recently, and also repeated it while the group were headlining Latitude in July.
In August, the 28-year-old frontman confirmed the group’s third album will feature a song called ‘Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America’.
He shared the start of the album’s playlist on Instagram and captioned the post: “The need to start editing.”
