Kendall Calling 2025 line-up includes headliners Courteeners, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy and Kaiser Chiefs

OHMYGOSSIP — Courteeners, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy and Kaiser Chiefs are set to headline Kendall Calling 2025.
The annual music festival is celebrating its 20th year with one of its biggest line-ups to date with an eclectic mix of pop and alternative acts.
Returning to the picturesque Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District between July 31 and August 3, the event will also see performances from the likes of The Last Dinner Party, Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Corrine Bailey Rae, Skindred, Maximo Park, The Lottery Winners and Scouting For Girls.
Courteeners’ Frontman Liam Fray said: “Our set in 2019 was electric and was, so I’m told, one of the biggest singalongs Kendal Calling has ever witnessed. So it goes without saying that we can’t wait to get back on the main stage, playing to 40,000 of you lovely lot. And as if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got 20 years of Kendal to celebrate, too. It’s going to be massive.”
Frank Turner commented: “I first played Kendal Calling all the way back in 2009, and they’ve had me back five times since, and now again for 2025, so I think they must like me. Which is a relief, because I bloody love them; the quintessential independent UK festival, great vibes, great people, great music, year after year. I’m beyond flattered to be there for the 20th instalment; long may they reign.”
Thom Rylance of The Lottery Winners said: “Kendal Calling was our first proper festival, many years ago. And I think we’ve played it every year since. Except maybe one year, and I’m sure everybody said that was the worst year in history. I’ve had some of my most emotionally overwhelming moments of pride on stages in that field. Core memories I’ll never forget. The first festival that ever took a chance on our band, for that we’re forever grateful. Weird to say a festival feels like a homecoming show, I know, but it really does.”
Scouting For Girls added: “We’re absolutely buzzing to be asked back to Kendal Calling for their 20th anniversary. The crowds are always insane! Plus, we are a band who love any excuse for a party so we’ll be bringing out all our big hits when we get onstage. A beautiful festival in a stunning location with a wonderful crowd – Cannot wait!!!!”
The bill also includes rising rockers The K’s, Reverend and The Makers and The Pigeon Detectives.
Plus, Daniel Bedingfield, Pixie Lott, Inspiral Carpets, Alfie Templeman, The Big Moon, The Royston Club, The Skints, and Sports Team.
Fans can sign up for the Kendal Calling pre-sale now with the sale taking place at 10am on Saturday (02.11.24). The general sale takes place at 10am on November 4.

‘Playing music keeps us young’: The Offspring explain why Mick Jagger appears fitter than age twin Joe Biden

OHMYGOSSIP — The Offspring believe playing in a band “keeps them young”.
Guitarist Noodles – whose real name is Kevin John Wasserman – has compared the lifestyles of Rolling Stone Sir Mick Jagger and departing President Joe Biden, who are both 81, and believes being a fit touring musician is the key to their good health, especially playing “fast, aggressive music”.
The 61-year-old rocker told USA Today: “I think doing what we do for a living keeps us young. Playing music, and especially fast, aggressive music, keeps you young. Mick Jagger is the same age as Joe Biden. Whose lifestyle is keeping him younger?”
However, that’s not to say that the endless travelling that comes with touring the globe gets any easier.
Asked if they still like being on the road, Noodles said: “Yeah. I mean, travelling beats you up, but I love the new experiences, meeting new people, trying new food, new cultures. I love all that.”
Frontman Dexter Holland, 58 – who also keeps fit by competing in Ironman triathlons – said: “You have to just bite off the right amount, is the thing. You (tour) in manageable chunks and yeah, it’s really cool. We know that we we’re lucky to be able to get to play for people all around the world. People that don’t even speak English and yet they know our band. We’re very fortunate.”
The pop-punk veterans – who released their 11th studio album ‘Supercharged’ last month – are in a rare situation where Dexter can fly them to their concerts as a pilot and he says being in the cockpit is like “meditation”.
Asked if he is still flying the ‘Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)’ band, he replied: “I am. I flew here (to New York) from North Carolina for the race. I call it my golf, if that makes sense. I love the way it makes me feel. I love the freedom that it gives you. I love that you have to focus on it. By focusing, it takes you out of all the usual stuff that you spend your day worrying about. It’s almost like meditation in a weird way.”
In fact, Noodles trusts Dexter more than most pilots they’ve had.
He said: “I’ve seen him study and learn and I know how he is. He pays attention and he gets work done. We’ve had hired pilots that I felt more scared flying with than with him, and we do take a pilot out when we go on tour. Sometimes Dexter will fly and sometimes Dexter will sit in the back with us.”

See ya there for more good times….TUNE!!! TUNE!!! TUNE!!”

Thin Lizzy announce acoustic album

OHMYGOSSIP — Thin Lizzy have announced a new acoustic album re-imagining their favourite songs and featuring new guitar parts by Eric Bell.
Fans of the legendary blues rock group can hear the original vocals of late frontman Phil Lynott – who died in 1986 at the age of 36 – alongside stripped-back arrangements on ‘Acoustic Sessions’, which is due for release on January 24, 2025.
The first track taken from the project is a new rendition of their version of ‘Whiskey In The Jar’ that is reminiscent of the way the band first played the cover of the Irish classic, which they had a hit with in 1973.
Drummer Brian Downey’s original drum parts are also heard throughout the collection, which features tracks from the 50th-anniversary super deluxe editions of 1973’s ‘Vagabonds Of The Western World’, their 1971 self-titled debut and 1972’s ‘Shades of a Blue Orphanage’.
Eric, 77, said: “I remember recording ‘Eire’ from our debut album ‘Thin Lizzy’ in 1971. I wrote the main guitar part first on acoustic and then we built it up from there. I played the 12-string acoustic throughout the track and introduced the electric on top.
“This was useful in the studio in Belfast recently where we recorded fresh guitar parts to allow us to create new Thin Lizzy acoustic versions of some of our favourite songs, by recreating those original acoustic parts and adding the vocals which Philip laid down on the day and those original drum parts which Brian came up with in the original recording sessions.”
Producer and mixer Richard Whittaker added: “Traditionally, songwriters and bands have used acoustic ‘polyrhythmic’ instruments such as piano or guitar to demo or sketch out their ideas. In most cases these parts are replaced as the production process develops but occasionally, these core elements survive and remain intact. I encountered this during the Vagabonds project. After sifting through all the Decca recordings, I presented a list of ideas however, in most cases additional development and material was required. So the guys at the label approached Eric (Bell) who was happy to get involved with the project and between us, I think we’ve made something really quite unique and special.”
Eric departed Thin Lizzy following the release of ‘Vagabonds Of The Western World’ and after their chaotic 1973 New Year’s Eve show, which saw the sticksman shove amplifiers into the audience and storm off stage. He later stated that it was due to ill-health brought on by exhaustion. Gary Moore briefly replaced him.
Fittingly, the bonus track ‘Slow Blues G.B.’ is a tribute to late guitar hero Gary – who died of a heart attack at the age of 58 in 2011.
‘Acoustic Sessions’ is the first Thin Lizzy release from Eric since his dramatic exit from the ‘Boys Are Back In Town’ group.
Their final studio album was 1983’s ‘Thunder and Lightning’.
Pre-order the album now via thinlizzy.lnk.to/TheAcousticSessions.

The ‘Acoustic Sessions’ track-listing:
Mama Nature Said (Acoustic Version)
A Song For While I’m Away (Acoustic Version)

Whiskey In The Jar (Acoustic Version)
Here I Go Again (Acoustic Version)
Shades Of A Blue Orphanage (Acoustic Version)

Coldplay play first concert without bassist Guy Berryman after he was ‘taken ill’

OHMYGOSSIP — Coldplay played their first concert without bassist Guy Berryman after he was struck down with illness.
The ‘Fix You’ hitmakers were forced to rope in their co-producer and engineer, Bill Rahko, at their Melbourne show on Wednesday night (30.10.24) after the 46-year-old musician was “taken ill unexpectedly” at the “last minute”.
Frontman Chris Martin explained Guy was literally “vomiting” and promised to do the best they could with his replacement.
He told the audience at the Marvel Stadium: “I have to say, thank you so much for coming to our show today. It’s a shame but we waited for the last minute to tell you that our beautiful bass player Guy is very, very sick. And will not be (playing) for the first time. I’m sorry for you guys down here who are waiting to see Guy. He’s not going to be able to play today. We’ll have a slightly different show and we’ll do our best to make it amazing, and I know that it will be amazing because we’re in Melbourne with all of you beautiful people.”
Chris, 47, guitarist Jonny Buckland, 47, and drummer Will Champion, 46, had just an hour to figure out what to do and decided to have Guy’s bass track playing whilst their engineer dressed up as an alien “looking like he’s playing bass”.
The singer said: “If you notice mistakes, and some problems, it’s because we don’t have our bass player. And we only had about an hour to figure it out. And we have figured it out. We have a strange, alien, weird friend character playing bass, or looking like he’s playing bass. So you’ll hear Guy, but you just won’t see him. Because he’s vomiting.”
Chris later thanked fans for “carrying us through it”.
Taking to Instagram after the concert, he reflected: “Tonight was the first time in our band’s history that we’ve played a show without all four members onstage. Guy was taken ill unexpectedly just before the show. Thank you for carrying us through it.”
It’s not known if Guy will be returning to the stage for their next concert at the same venue on Thursday night (31.10.24).

Snoop Dogg’s Missionary album set for December release

OHMYGOSSIP — Snoop Dogg has announced that his new album ‘Missionary’ will drop in December.
The 53-year-old rapper has revealed on Instagram that his new album – which is being produced by Dr. Dre – will be released on 13 December.
In a promo clip, two young Mormon missionaries knock on a door that’s opened by a woman wearing lingerie.
In the video, she says: “What the f***? Your ad said you were dedicated to missionary work,” before the Mormons run away.
The clip is captioned: “Missionary album drops 12.13. Produced by @drdre.”
Earlier this month, it was revealed that the ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ hitmaker will collaborate with Sting and Jelly Roll on the new album.
Snoop told the Bloomberg Screentime conference: “I got a feature from Jelly Roll and Sting. I’m so happy that me and Sting have a record that’s so good.”
The ‘Gin and Juice’ hitmaker explained that he has long been “infatuated” with Sting and wasn’t disappointed after getting the chance to spend some time with the ‘Englishman in New York’ singer.
Snoop recalled: “We hung out and we chilled. Like a child that’s infatuated with somebody as a singer, and you get a chance to meet them and they give you everything you expected.
“That’s what happens with me all the time: I meet people I’ve always wanted to meet and they’re everything I wanted them to be.”
The star has been teasing ‘Missionary’ for a couple of years and is delighted that Dr. Dre is producing the album after the pair worked together on Snoop’s debut record ‘Doggystyle’.
He said: “1993 was the last time he produced a whole Snoop Dogg album. So this a reunion, and it’s collaboration between two friends who genuinely love each other. We know we’re better together.”

Duff McKagan promises new Guns N’ Roses music

OHMYGOSSIP — Duff McKagan says Guns N’ Roses have every “desire” to release new music.
After guitarist Slash teased that they are “trying to make” their first record since 2008’s ‘Chinese Democracy’ and that talks were underway for a small tour, the bass player insists new music is definitely in their plans.
Appearing on SiriusXM’s ‘Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk’ this week, he said: “There’s definitely a desire and a plan for new music.
“Yeah, for sure.”
The ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ rockers haven’t performed live since their 2023 North American tour, which ended last November, and Duff, 60, admits he needs time to recover and rest after long periods on the road – unlike bandmate Slash, 59.
He said: “You can go on a tour and you can have peaks and valleys on the tour. And we never do. It’s always, like, every gig is super special. Even when we extended our tour — after touring for so much, extending it for another four weeks, that can destroy a band.
I’ve seen it happen. That’s too long. You went too long. And everybody’s starting to snap at each other and the crew and all that stuff. But it doesn’t happen with our band or our crew.
“So we ended on this real highlight, which was Mexico City, this huge gig we did.
“And we played two nights at the Hollywood Bowl right before that. It was really special. We had The Black Keys opening at the Hollywood Bowl — a really cool, different sort of show. So I think we ended and were, like, ‘Oh, man. Let’s not end. Let’s get back to this soon.’ But I think for me, I know I had to rest — I had to rest my body. A lot of hours on stage. A lot of travelling. And I’ve gotta listen to my body these days. I’ve gotta listen. So I had to rest. I think we all need to rest. [guitarist] Slash, he’ll go out and tour, like, four weeks later [with one of his projects] and do it all over again. I’m, like, ‘Okay, dude. More power to you. I’m gonna go to Hawaii. I’m going to Hawaii, man.'”
Slash recently hinted that next year is “all about” Guns N’ Roses.
He told Loudwire Nights: “I’m going into the studio with the Conspirators [his project with Myles Kennedy], getting a new record done and then after that, 2025 is all about Guns N’ Roses.
Of their plans, he continued: “We’re trying to get some things going with that. I think there’s a small tour in the summertime next year. I heard a rumour about that anyway, so that’s going to be focused on that. But prior to that, it’s the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour, and then the Conspirators.”
He quipped: “It keeps me out of trouble, as they say.”
In December, the group released ‘Perhaps’, backed by ‘The General’, which were both recorded around the same time as ‘Chinese Democracy’, just like 2021’s releases ‘Absurd’ and ‘Hard Skool’.
The notorious record was delayed for years and held up by legal issues, while Slash, Duff and drummer Matt Sorum, 63, quit the group, and only frontman Axl Rose, 62, and keyboardist Dizzy Reed, 61, remained.
The band reunited with original members Slash and Duff for the 2016 ‘Not in This Lifetime… Tour’.
Axl, Slash and Duff’s last studio album was 1993 covers record ‘The Spaghetti Incident?’.

Scissor Sisters reuniting for anniversary tour – sans Ana Matronic

OHMYGOSSIP — Scissor Sisters are reuniting for a tour without founding member Ana Matronic.
After teasing fans with giant scissors beaming on various arenas across the UK this week, including London’s The O2, Jake Shears and co have since confirmed a 10-date UK and Ireland tour in May 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled album.
However, Ana, 50, has decided not to join her bandmates – also including bassist Scott ‘Babydaddy’ Hoffman, 48, and guitarist Del Marquis, 47 – for their first shows since bidding farewell 12 years ago.
Speaking to The Independent, Jake explained her absence: “I think it just didn’t line up.
“It’s not something that she wanted to do at this moment in time. And I didn’t want that to keep us from coming out and playing these songs.”
Del quipped: “Our biological clocks are ticking, after all.”
The shows will see the ‘Filthy/Gorgeous’ hitmakers play their first album – which was the best-selling record of 2004 in the UK – in its entirety alongside tracks from their other three albums: 2006’s ‘Ta-Dah’, 2010’s ‘Night Work’ and 2012’s ‘Magic Hour’.
The run will kick off on May 16 at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, before heading to Glasgow, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Manchester, London, Leeds, Birmingham, Belfast, and wrapping at Dublin’s 3Arena on May 28.
Del says gig-goers can expect more “anarchy and chaos” at the live shows, warning “anything can happen”.
He said in a statement: “There will always be a little bit of anarchy and chaos in our live shows. That’s the magic ingredient of the Scissor Sisters, and we’re definitely going to bring that ‘anything can happen’ energy back again. This time I want to be really present on stage and celebrate how lucky we are to have achieved what we achieved. I don’t think I was mature enough to deal with everything the first time around because it happened so fast.”
A pre-sale takes place on November 6 at 9am, before a general sale from 9am on November 8 via Ticketmaster.

Scissor Sisters’ May 2025 tour dates:
16 – Nottingham – Motorpoint Arena

The band will release ‘Song of a Lost World’ on Friday (01.11.24) and played songs from the record, together with fan favourites, at the iconic BBC Radio Theatre.
The first set, recorded for Huw Stephens’ 6 Music show on Thursday (31.10.24) featured new tracks ‘And Nothing Is Forever’, ‘I Can Never Say Goodbye’ and ‘All I Ever Am’, alongside ‘Last Dance’, ‘Plainsong’, ‘Prayers for Rain’, ‘Disintegration’, ‘A Forest’, ‘At Night’ and ‘Burn’.
For the second set, around 200 competition winners who had entered a ballot along with tens of thousands of other fans, filed into the intimate venue alongside a small number of invited guests including Elbow’s Guy Garvey, Louis Theroux, Nick Grimshaw, Jeremy Vine and Shaun Keaveny for the ‘Radio 2 In Concert’ series, hosted by Jo Whiley.
Frontman Robert Smith joked they were playing something “more upbeat” for BBC Radio 2, and new tracks ‘A Fragile Thing’, ‘Alone’ and ‘Endsong’ were mixed in with a set of crowd pleasers that included ‘Pictures Of You’, ‘Lovesong’, ‘The Walk’, ‘Lullaby’, ‘In Between Days’ and ‘Just Like Heaven’.
If that wasn’t enough, the group then returned to the stage for an encore recorded for the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, treating fans to ‘Lullaby’, ‘Close To Me’ and ‘Why Can’t I Be You?’.
Introducing ‘Friday I’m in Love’, the 65-year-old frontman quipped that “something bad always happens” if the band play the track on a day that isn’t a Friday.

Liam Payne’s posthumous single shelved

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne’s first posthumous single ‘Do No Wrong’ has been shelved out of respect for the star’s grieving family.
The One Direction singer died in Argentina earlier this month after falling from a hotel balcony and Grammy-winning producer Sam Pounds later confirmed he was planning to release the track they made together to “eclipse the negative echoes” following the tragedy, but Sam has now confirmed he’s cancelled the release to give Liam’s relatives more time to grieve the loss.
In a message posted on Instagram, Sam wrote: “Today I’m deciding to hold ‘Do No Wrong’ and leave those liberties up to all family members.
“I want all proceeds go to a charity of their choosing (or however they desire). Even though we all love the song it’s not the time yet.
“We are all still mourning the passing of Liam and I want the family to mourn in peace and in prayer. We will all wait. With love Sam Pounds.”
Sam previously insisted he wanted to share the song with the world to provide some “healing power” for Liam’s loved ones and his fans.
In a post on X – formerly known as Twitter – he wrote: “I pray that this will be a blessing to the world like Liam has always dreamed. I pray angels will comfort you all everyday while listening. I pray that this song will be a blessing to [his sister] Ruth, [son] Bear, and the entire family.
“I pray that this song eclipses the negative echoes. I pray supernatural positive healing power will embrace each and every one of you … With love let’s all BE the blessing.”
Liam, 31, had recorded a follow-up to his 2019 debut album ‘LP1’ but reports suggested the record was shelved after the first single ‘Teardrops’ failed to chart in March – and an insider recently claimed he was subsequently ditched by his label because bosses at Universal Music were concerned his new songs would fail to win over the pop band’s fan base.
A source told DailyMail.com: “Liam wanted to make the sort of music he enjoyed but his label believed it wouldn’t win over 1D fans so there were disagreements about the way his brand should have been marketed.
“The entire music industry is making cuts and restructuring to cut costs so Universal decided to drop Liam quietly and invest in other artists.”
The insider went on to add: “He didn’t need the money because he was wealthy, but yes it did hurt him because he was under constant pressure to compete with the other guys in the band.”

Olivia Rodrigo marks end of Guts era

OHMYGOSSIP — Olivia Rodrigo has reached the “end of the ‘Guts’ era”.
The 21-year-old singer released her second album in September 2023 and has spent several months this year on her ‘Guts World Tour’, but now she has admitted the release of an accompanying concert movie on Netflix means she is ready to move on to something else.
She told Rolling Stone: “I think it’s the end of the ‘Guts’ era! I love this era so much. It was so much fun to get to create and share with the fans.
“I’m so grateful that fans have embraced ‘Guts’ in the way that they have.
“I felt so much pressure after ‘Sour’ to make something that could follow it up, and that was a really daunting task. I’m proud of the album, and I’m really proud of the musical elements that we explored and so proud of it lyrically.
“The fact that people have embraced it the way that they have just means so much to me, and I’m really excited for a break and for what’s to come.”
Although the ‘Bad Idea Right?’ hitmaker was writing new songs while she is on the road, she isn’t sure whether they will ever be released as she was only penning lyrics as a “form of self-care”.
She said: “Sometimes it’s hard to write when you’re constantly moving around, and you don’t feel very grounded.
“But I did find a chance to make a few songs on the road.
“Songwriting for me is a form of self-care. It’s like journaling or going to therapy. It makes everything seem so much less overwhelming.
“I definitely wrote some songs, but mostly just for myself. But I think that’s how all good songs start out as anyway.”
Although she sold out arenas around the world, Olivia is still unsure if she wants to take a step up to playing stadiums next.
She said: “I’m undecided. I mean, that is so crazy to me that the ticket demand was so that I could have played stadiums. That’s something I can’t really wrap my mind around quite yet.
“The biggest venue that I played was in the Philippines, and I think it was like 55,000 people, which isn’t even a stadium. It’s a little smaller than a stadium. And it felt so different.
“So I’m not quite sure yet, but I really enjoyed playing arenas this time. It felt intimate enough where I could see people, but there’s so much energy because there’s so many people in the room.
“But I’m not opposed to anything! I’m excited for it all.”

Matty Healy believes The 1975 were ‘hated’ for not being ‘heavy’

OHMYGOSSIP — Matty Healy believes The 1975 were “hated” as they came through at a time when heavy “post-punk” music was popular.
The ‘Love Me’ singer has suggested the reason the indie-pop band didn’t get signed right away was because labels were choosing bands “doing an impression” of the Arctic Monkeys, and the fact they didn’t “adhere” to the “aesthetic of post-punk”.
Appearing on the ‘Doom Scroll’ podcast, he said: “Every band that got signed over us was a band that was essentially doing an impression of the Arctic Monkeys.
“So what they were saying is, a band has to be from an economically deprived place in order to have authenticity. It needs to be kind of gritty. It needs to reference, at the time, the kind of the aesthetics of post-punk.
“So like, you know, all of your Joy Division, industrialisation, Thatcherism, brutalism, all those kinds of things. And we just didn’t adhere to any of that…”
Matty says he and his bandmates – who released their self-titled debut studio album in 2013 – can do “heavy”, as evident on their 2019 track ‘People’, but it’s nothing “new”, and they wanted to be different, regardless of whether it didn’t appeal to everyone.
He went on: “And I was like, well, after [1998’s] ‘The Shape of Punk to Come’ came out – [it was] the last punk album – it knew that. Refused – they split up because they were politically so different… And in their last show, the cops came. It makes me want to cry; I get chills thinking about it.
“The cops came in, and all of their fans turned around and shouted the line from ‘Rather Be Dead’: ‘I’d rather be alive.’ And they’re just shouting, ‘I’d rather be alive. I’d rather be alive,’ as Refused physically disbanded.
“Because for me… unless you’re Glassjaw, Converge, Refused, or further than that, heavy is f****** lame. So the reason we’re not heavy – and we can do heavy all day long – but we’re not because it wasn’t new. We wanted to be something quite new.”

Taylor Swift hails Sabrina Carpenter ‘the pop princess of our dreams’

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has hailed Sabrina Carpenter “as real as they come” after she used her one day off from touring for their surprise duet.
The 34-year-old pop megastar brought out the ‘Bed Chem’ singer, 25, at her New Orleans stop of the ‘Eras Tour’ at the weekend, with the pair performing acoustic renditions of Sabrina’s hits ‘Espresso’ and ‘Please Please Please’ and Taylor’s ‘Is It Over Now?’.
And the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker has since heaped praise on Sabrina for going out of her way to give fans a “surprise moment” and dubbed her the “pop princess of our dreams”.
Alongside a series of photographs from the concert, Taylor reflected on Instagram: “Wow, New Orleans. I’m still smiling thinking about that wonderful weekend. The city really welcomed us with open arms (with friendship bracelets on those metaphorical arms) and celebrated the tour with such flare.
“One of the things I’ll always remember from this weekend was getting to surprise the crowd with a performance by the pop princess of our dreams: @sabrinacarpenter. Side note: She had one day off from her very exhaustive tour schedule. Her show is physically full on and spectacular, and she could’ve been resting in her time off. One of the reasons I respect her so much is that she does things like this, goes out of her way to give fans a surprise moment they didn’t expect. She’s as real as they come and I’m so thankful she did that for us. (sic)”
After the appearance, Sabrina admitted it was the “only stage” she’d want to “see” on her “day off”.
She wrote on Instagram: “only stage i’d ever wanna see on a day off !!!!
“thank you for working late, thank you for being a singer and thank you for having me @taylorswift i love you!! (sic)”
Sabrina is currently on her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ tour, and during a recent stop in Atlanta, she jokingly “arrested” ‘Stranger Things’ actress Millie Bobby Brown for being “too hot”.
She gushed about the 20-year-old actress: “I am really distracted right now because I see this gorgeous girl.”
Calling over her backing dancers, she said: “Girls, can you come out because I’ve fallen, and I can’t get up. This girl is so hot.”
She ended the interaction by handing her a pair of pink handcuffs.

Kylie Minogue used to find The Loco-Motion ‘so uncool’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kylie Minogue used to find performing ‘The Loco-Motion’ “so uncool”.
The 56-year-old pop idol has her 1988 cover of the 1962 dance-pop song penned by Gerry Goffin and Carole King to thank for launching her music career, and although she finds the hit cheesy, she has learned to appreciate it later in life.
She told Billboard News: “It was the song that started my career.
“Over time there was a period where I was like, ‘I don’t know how to do it. It’s so uncool. How do I do it?’ But now everything has come full circle. I can really with all my heart and enthusiasm do this song.”
The ‘Padam Padam’ hitmaker has just secured another number one hit with her ‘Tension II’ album.
However, she didn’t anticipate having enough songs for a sequel to the hugely successful 2023 LP ‘Tension’.
She told The Sun newspaper: “The doors that ‘Padam Padam’ and ‘Tension’ opened were different to before.
“Tension was pretty out there and Padam had a hypnotic quality. Both were bold and paved the way for this new record.
“I didn’t have a specific sound. With this, I did a lot of sessions in LA with new people.
“The mission actually wasn’t to do an album but to find an extra few songs for a repack but then we did more and more.
“It’s not the new album, it’s the sequel.
“I am really pleased people are on board with that and they understand. This ‘Tension II’, it’s more of the same world.”
Kylie also insisted that she is not a diva but admitted she does expect high quality work from her team.
She said: “I don’t have many diva requests but can be kind of demanding in that I want people to turn up and do their job.
“I want them to have fun — when I’m running a tour or whatever, I like to be a nice and kind boss — but there are times when the eyebrow might go . . . it’s a look, and no one wants the look.
“At the same time, though, I get it — people get distracted, or they get a bit bored, or they are tired. I do factor all of that in but, you know, you need to turn up when it’s time to turn up.
“It’s not an ‘I want puppies in the dressing room’ request.
“I am kind of pretty basic on that front. I can make do — but just have a work ethic.”
