OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift’s ‘Me!’ video attracted 65.2 million YouTube views within the first 24 hours of its release.
The video has, therefore, entered the record books, making Taylor the solo and female artist with the biggest 24-hour debut on YouTube.
Taylor has leapfrogged fellow US pop star Ariana Grande, whose video for ‘Thank U, Next’ drew over 55 million views in the 24 hours after its release.
By comparison, another of Taylor’s best-known songs in recent years, ‘Look What You Made Me Do’, attracted 43.2 million views following its release.
The blonde beauty is already one of the most popular musicians on the video-sharing platform, with her channel boasting as many as 33 million subscribers.
Meanwhile, Taylor recently admitted to feeling inspired by her pet cats.
The 29-year-old singer credits her two kitties, Olivia and Meredith, as one of her top influences.
She shared: “I’m obsessed with them. They’re just a real joy to live with.”
Elsewhere on her list is music legend Sir Paul McCartney, who she praised for creating “unparalleled art” and his great performances.
She continued: “I look at Paul McCartney and I see how he’s had just this amazing career. He’s created just unparalleled art and probably been faced with more pressure than most people. And he’s always been known to be kind to people, respectful, and also really selfless as a performer.
“I really like it when you go and see a show and you want to see those songs that you loved like you want to hear all that old, iconic classic stuff, and I like it when a performer knows that and will give that to their fans … He’s still got it!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has released a new single and music video.
The 29-year-old singer has dropped new track ‘ME!’, which features Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie, and has released an accompanying video directed by Dave Meyers.
Taylor wants the song to help people “feel better about themselves”, and says the hotly-anticipated tune is about “embracing your individuality and really celebrating it”.
During a surprise appearance at 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville on Thursday night (25.04.19), she told ABC’s Robin Roberts: “‘ME!’ is about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it, and you know, I think that with a pop song we have an ability to get a melody stuck in your head.
“I just wanted it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves.
“The fans are amazing. I can’t believe how much they care.
“So it makes it more fun for me to create music, to create music videos, knowing that they’ll care about little Easter eggs, or clues, or hints.
“You don’t know how much fun that is to make stuff for people who care about it that much.
“So it’s the fans, they’ve always been there and it’s gotten more fun as time has passed.”
Taylor makes a nod to her feud with Kim Kardashian West in the opening few seconds of the video as a pink snake slithers along a cobbled street, and the video also features her pet cats Olivia and Meredith.
Before she bursts into song, the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker and Brendon have an argument in French in front of their “young daughters”, Taylor’s two adorable felines.
The video features a Mary Poppins-themed scene, which could be a reference to her London-born boyfriend Joe Alwyn, in which Brendon floats while using an umbrella, just as the magical character does in 1964 film ‘Mary Poppins’.
Announcing the new song and video on Twitter, Taylor wrote: “ME! Out now! Made this song with @brendonurie and @iamjoellittle. Dave Meyers and I co-directed the video. And everyone knows you can’t spell awesome without DAVIDBRENDONJOEL. Oh wait… (sic)”
Brendon took to Instagram to thank Taylor for “allowing” him to be part of her “beautiful story” and admitted it was “incredible” to work alongside her.
He shared: “Wait. This really happened?! Like for real?!?! Well I can’t begin to describe how incredible it has been to work on this song and video. So I will simply say: Thank you @taylorswift for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful story. So much f***in love and respect. (sic)”
Taylor had been teasing fans about a new project for weeks, and the date “4.26” started appearing on her social media captions recently.
Should the star drop a new album, as is widely expected, it will be her first since she released her sixth studio album ‘Reputation’ in November 2017.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi insists songwriting isn’t “therapy”.
The ‘Someone You Loved’ hitmaker admits people often expect him to be “moping around” because of his heartfelt lyrics but he dismissed suggestions he uses his music as an outlet for his feelings because he’s always open and upfront.
He said: “I take issue when people say that songwriting is like therapy. If you think you need therapy, go and have therapy.
“This isn’t an outlet for my feelings. I don’t have any qualms telling people how I feel about things.
“People are always surprised when they meet me and I’m not moping around.
“You don’t write songs when you’re happy. I think melancholy is the most underrated emotion there is.”
A number of break-up songs appear on the 22-year-old singer’s upcoming album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’ but he insists he wasn’t a “jilted lover”.
He told The Sun newspaper: “I wasn’t a jilted lover. But my relationship ended because of what I was doing with my job.
“I’m not saying, ‘I am great, and you should be with me because this guy is not right for you’.
“It was pretty amicable, but still a very upsetting split and we are still friends. She’s travelling somewhere in Thailand at the minute.”
Lewis, who has suffered from panic attacks in the past, recently announced a 50p charge on tickets to his upcoming tour in order to fund a specialist team to look out for fans experiencing problems with anxiety and he thinks it’s an important issue to tackle.
He said: “In the same way people used to smoke all the time and never knew the effects of it until years later — when everyone got lung cancer — I think problems with anxiety and depression have accelerated because we all use smartphones, the internet and social media. When I first had a panic attack, I thought I was having a heart attack or stroke.
“And it was the anniversary of Avicii’s [suicide] the other day and it’s a shame that stuff like that has had to happen.
“The thing with LiveLive came after I’d been getting lots of tweets and messages from fans who wanted to come to a gig but couldn’t because of anxiety.
“So we’ve partnered with these guys who are like counsellors and professionals qualified to help if anyone is suffering from anxiety at my shows.
“Then anyone who might have worried about attending knows that if anxiety does happen, they’re going to be looked after.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy has released a new track entitled ‘Vossi Bop’.
The 25-year-old grime artist dropped his first new track of 2019 on Friday (26.04.19) in the form the song named ‘Vossi Bop’, after the viral dance that was born from Twitter user @NL_Vossi in 2015.
Stormzy had previously teased the track on his Snapchat story almost three years ago in September 2016, but now the song has finally been released on streaming platforms including Spotify.
Speaking to Julie Adenuga on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio, the rapper said of the track’s origins: “I met Vossi on the internet … He went to get Supermalt, he was on his way back, and he was just dancing to this song. But it was just so infectious, and such a genuine joyous moment that for whatever reason, I went studio a couple weeks later, and I made this song called ‘Vossi Bop.’ But this is like three years ago, 2016 I made this song. Or 2015.
“And yeah, I just had the spirit of Vossi in me, and I was just like … Yeah, it was very like, now that I think back on it, it just felt very from God, and very natural. Like yeah, this is my vibe right now. I think it just embodies everything that I’m about. The confidence, the humour, the style, the flair, the anarchy, the chaos, just the vibe. All of these things, I was like, ‘This is me embodied.'”
Fans of the ‘Big For Your Boots’ hitmaker are hoping the new track signals plans for a whole album release later this year, which would mark his second studio venture after 2017’s ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’.
Stormzy is expected to wow crowds with his new single when he takes to the stage at the iconic Glastonbury festival in June this year, where he will be one of the three headline acts.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross will perform together at a charity gala to benefit children around the world.
The couple – who have been married since 2014 and have three-year-old daughter Jagger together – are set to take to the stage at Cinémoi’s 2019 Cannes Film Festival Charity Gala benefiting Children Uniting Nations on May 16 in Cannes, France, during the annual film festival.
Ashlee, 33, and Evan, 30, said in a joint statement: “We’re thrilled to be performing at Cinémoi’s Gala benefiting Children Uniting Nations. We think it is important to use our platform to help children around the world.”
Children Uniting Nations is a non-profit organisation based in Los Angeles, which is dedicated to providing quality mentoring relationships and services for at-risk and foster youth.
Ashlee – who also has nine-year-old son Bronx with her ex-husband Pete Wentz – and her spouse previously released a duet album entitled ‘Ashlee + Evan’ in October 2018, and spoke about their music making process on their E! docuseries of the same name.
The couple released their first single, ‘I Do’, shortly before their album was released, and it marked the first release for singer Ashlee in over a decade.
Speaking about the track, they said at the time: “Music was always one of the things that connected us from the beginning. We liked our voices together, and as time went on, we thought it was something that we wanted to share. ‘I Do’ is our commitment to our music and each other.”
The pop ballad was written by Ashlee and Evan – who is the son of music icon Diana Ross – alongside legendary bassist Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire, Austin Brown, Brian London, and Palmer Reed.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Ronson was turned down for a collaboration by Kendrick Lamar.
The ‘Uptown Funk’ hitmaker has teamed up with some of the world’s biggest stars on tracks in the past – including Miley Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Adele, Lady Gaga, Lily Allen, and the late Amy Winehouse – but has admitted that not everyone agrees to appear on his chart-topping songs, as rapper Kendrick Lamar once turned down Mark’s request to collaborate.
When asked if people ever turn him down, Mark said: “A lot of people. But I never really take it personally because I know how bad I am at texting people back … I don’t really want to call anybody out … Kendrick Lamar … they are just people I am such a fan of. I love finding the next new people as well.”
And the 43-year-old producer goes to extreme lengths to win over the people he wants to make music with, as he even crafted a handwritten letter to send to ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker Drake.
He added: “He seemed like he’d be the kind of person into a handwritten letter, he might appreciate the thought. So I did I found this black nice paper and wrote in this gold pen, he probably thought I was going to ask him out, I just wanted him on a track.”
Despite being a chart-topping DJ and producer, Mark says he often finds himself getting “annoyed” by his own music, because he gets “pretty sick” of hearing his tracks being played everywhere he goes.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, which airs on Saturday (27.04.19), the ‘Nothing Breaks Like A Heart’ musician said: “It’s very annoying, ‘Uptown Funk.’ You work so hard when you’re working on a song, that song took us seven months to make and then by the time before it even comes out you’re pretty sick of it. But with a song like ‘Uptown Funk’ it has brought so much joy. That’s what is fun, seeing other people get into the music.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Doherty’s new album includes a tribute to his late bandmate Alan Wass.
Alan – who had previously played guitar for The Libertines – died in 2015 at the age of 33 after being unlawfully injected with heroin by an acquaintance.
And now Libertines frontman Pete has revealed that his new album – a self-titled project with his multi-national band Pete Doherty and the Puta Madres – contains a song entitled ‘Travelling Tinkers’ dedicated to Alan, whom Pete insists “never” took drugs whilst in The Libertines.
Speaking about his late band mate, Pete said: “He was a helluva of a fella. He always wanted us to start a band together and it was going to be called the Travelling Tinkers.
“All the years I sat injecting in front of him, and he’d say: ‘Let me do it, Pete.’ Not once. Not ever. Never put a needle near him. I wasn’t even in the f***ing country when Alan died.”
Pete also admits he’s “proud” of former band mate Carl Barat for being able to “dedicate” himself to his family, as Pete – who has 16-year-old son Astile with Lisa Moorish, and seven-year-old daughter with Lindi Hingston – is still distant from his brood.
When asked how close he is to his children, he said: “I don’t want to talk about that. [I’m proud of Carl] because he’s dedicated himself to his family. His two boys are his life.”
Although he isn’t close to his family, Pete is now in a relationship with his girlfriend Jade, whom he says had no idea who he was when they first met, which made it easier for them to fall in love.
Speaking to The Guardian newspaper, he said: “She doesn’t even know who the Smiths are! It’s essential these days, so people can judge you on who you really are. They don’t have their mind made up.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy is working on a new album.
The 25-year-old grime artist dropped ‘Vossi Bop’, his first new track of 2019 on Friday (26.04.19), and has now revealed the single is the first step to releasing his second studio album – after 2017’s ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’ – which he has been developing over the last two years.
When asked if a new album is coming, he said: “Oh most definitely! There’s always an album coming with me at some point!”
And Stormzy insists he’s been taking the time to make sure he’s the “best version” of himself, so he can record new music with “no filler songs”, as he wants every track to have “purpose and conviction” within his record.
He added: “I’ve been working. I’ve used these two years to really be the best version of myself musically in every aspect. The best way to describe my album is that I don’t want no filler songs but I’m going to go an even further step and say I don’t want a filler lyric. I don’t want me to be saying anything that’s wasted, anything that’s just there because it rhymes. Literally every single thing is with purpose and with conviction and with expertise.”
The new music will no doubt be a hit amongst his fans, but the ‘Big For Your Boots’ hitmaker is planning on playing the tracks to musical pal Ed Sheeran, and says he’ll “faint” if the chart-topping musician doesn’t like them.
Speaking to Roman Kemp, Vick Hope, and Sonny Jay on the Capital Breakfast show on Friday, he said: “Ed’s like my brother but he’s also – him being where he is in his career, he’s always someone I’m looking to for inspiration, do you know what I mean? So I always hit him up. Even towards the end of my album process I hit him up and let him know where I was with it. I’m gonna go see him in a couple of weeks actually. I’m gonna play him it.
“[If Ed doesn’t like it] I’m gonna faint man! If Ed don’t like it then I know I’m not on good waters, yeah I’m definitely not!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Hook is set to play Joy Division’s albums ‘Unknown Pleasures’ and ‘Closer’ in full at two 40th anniversary shows.
The iconic band’s bassist will play the seminal records, which were released in 1979 and 1980 respectively, at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on May 15, 2020, and Manchester’s O2 Apollo on May 16, 2020, where he will be backed by his band Peter Hook & The Light.
The 63-year-old musician will also perform songs by his former band New Order at the ‘An Evening with Peter Hook & The Light – Joy Division: A Celebration’ shows.
He shared on Twitter: “Delighted to announce 2 very special 40th anniversary live performances of ‘Unknown Pleasures’ & ‘Closer’ for May 2020 at @O2academybrix & @O2ApolloManc.
Both shows will also feature an opening set of New Order material.
Tickets go on sale this Friday 26th April at 10am. (sic)”
As well as celebrating the albums reaching the milestone, the money made from ticket sales will be donated to CALM and the Epilepsy Society, in honour of late Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis – who tragically took his own life in May 1980, aged just 23.
Hook has dedicated his time to spreading awareness of mental health issues in men – suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 40 – and has been working with CALM, who spread awareness of the subject and encourage men to speak out, for some time.
Speaking about his charity work, he said previously: “The treatment has changed and society has changed, I do feel that people are more empathetic and open to education in those things. We’re looking at mental health in a positive way now so that people don’t have to go through what he went through. A bunch of idiots like us can even be educated. We were unaware of what Ian was going through. That, as an old bloke, is the most shocking aspect of it – how unprepared and uneducated we as his friends were. Any education and any communication about things like this towards avoiding what happened to Ian is the most important thing. The hardest thing in the world is knowing what people are going through. I’m an alcoholic and a drug addict, and coming to terms with something like that helps you understand it more.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish got rid of Twitter because she got fed up with trolls who couldn’t handle her jokes.
The ‘My Strange Addiction’ singer has opened up about how she was once branded “crazy and toxic” for making a quip on the social media site, and how it’s impossible to say something “horrible” in a tongue-in-cheek way without someone getting “offended” these days.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: “The internet has been saying some dumb s***, not I’m like: ‘I’m keeping this to myself as you don’t deserve my funny a**.’
“I make one joke and it’s like, ‘She’s crazy, she’s toxic, a horrible person, rot in hell, you’re problematic’ – damn I made a joke, it’s just funny, calm down.
“I literally deleted Twitter because of that. I made the funniest joke and people dragged me for like months because of that.”
The ‘Bury Your Friend’ hitmaker is a massive fan of the US sitcom ‘The Office’, but she doesn’t think it would be able to be made today.
She said: “Comedy is just being horrible and it’s hilarious, that’s why ‘The Office’ is so funny, but dude if ‘The Office’ are out today people would be so offended.”
Meanwhile, Billie was recently upgraded to a bigger stage at Glastonbury because she is so popular.
The 17-year-old pop phenomenon – who only released her debut album ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ last month – will no longer be performing on the John Peel Stage as planned, as the Worthy Farm festival’s co-ograniser Emily Eavis has revealed she is “much too big” and they are currently trying to work out a slot on The Other Stage.
Emily – who curates the line-up with her father Michael Eavis – said: “We’re currently moving her – she’s on John Peel at the moment but she’s much too big, really, for the slot.
“It’s happened so quickly for Billie Eilish. It’s been such an amazing year. It really is going to be her summer.
“We are trying to give her a bigger stage where we can get a larger audience in there.
“So we are going to move her on to The Other Stage and we are just working out exactly where that’s going to be.”

The ‘Juice’ hitmaker, flautist and twerker might have the British singer at the top of her wish-list of people to work with, but she has banned herself from sending direct messages on social media ever since she sent something to Drake whilst drunk – before un-sending it.
Asked who she wants to work with the most by Busy Phillips on ‘Busy Tonight’, she replied: “Adele, b*tch!”
Quizzed on whether she has contacted the ‘Hello’ hitmaker online, Lizzo continued: “I used to slide into DMs.
“I slid into Drake’s DMs, but it was bold. I was drunk and I was just like, ‘Let’s just see if this motherf***er can sing.”
According to the 30-year-old rapper, the ‘In My Feelings’ hitmaker followed her shortly after and is a fan of her music.
She continued: “And I sent him a DM … this was a while ago. And then I unsent it, and then he followed me after that … but he likes my songs.”
Meanwhile, Lizzo recently released her debut album ‘Cuz I Love You’ to acclaim and is currently on a world tour.

OHMYGOSSIP — Florence Welch felt lucky to be given a second chance to perform a song for ‘Game of Thrones’ after rejecting an offer to record a track for the HBO series during her “wild years”.
At the end of episode two of Season 8, ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’, her band Florence + the Machine perform the haunting ballad ‘Jenny of Oldstones’ over the end credits, a song about a doomed woman who had an affair with Prince Duncan Targaryen. It will be the last song to be played by a contemporary artist over the end credits as the programme comes to an end.
However, Florence had been approached by the fantasy drama’s creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss to provide her distinct vocals to a track for the end credits of ‘The Rains of Castamere’ in Season 2 but she declined the offer.
The ‘Shake It Out’ hitmaker admits she can’t remember ever being asked to contribute a song to the show because the offer came when she was going through her hard partying phase.
Speaking about her snub to The New York Times, she said: “I think that was during my quote-unquote wild years. If I’m being super honest, there are a lot of things that are a bit blurry. I wasn’t as … involved, or, shall we say, as focused as I am now … I’m glad that they came back to me. I feel really touched to be on the last season, to be the last singer. And I’m grateful that I get to be a bit more present for it, to celebrate the ending of ‘Game of Thrones’ in a clear place.”
The song ‘Jenny of Oldstones’ also featured in the episode itself, performed by Podrick (Daniel Portman) after Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) asks someone to sing ahead of the imminent Battle of Winterfell and it seemingly predicts the dark fate awaiting many of the characters.
Florence, 32, had no idea what the song was about or how it would be used because Benioff and Weiss were so secretive about the plot, although they did send her a simple melody as the basis of the track.
She said: “To be honest, they keep such a tight ship on ‘Game of Thrones’, they didn’t tell us what the visual would be. We weren’t told what’s going to happen in the episode. We weren’t even told what the episode is called. It was all so top secret, so cloak-and-dagger!”
Discussing how she might have changed the track – which was co-written by Thomas Bartlett, who worked with Florence on the fourth Florence + the Machine album ‘High as Hope’ – if she had been given the script beforehand, she added: “I would have been like, ‘We need fanfares, and you’re going to have to get a dragon on here somehow.’ I might have – as I can do sometimes – overblown it. So I’m glad I didn’t know then, but I’m glad to know now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, George Ezra and Jorja Smith are among the nominees at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards.
The British band – fronted by Matt Healy – have been nominated in the Best Contemporary Song category for their track ‘Love It If We Made It’.
The group are up against rapper Ghetts, who has been recognised for his song ‘Black Rose’, and Jorja Smith who has been shortlisted for her single ‘Blue Lights’.
Reacting to the news of his nomination, Ghetts simply posted on Twitter: “Crazy.”
Arctic Monkeys have been shortlisted for the Best Song Musically and Lyrically prize for their single ‘Four Out of Five’ – penned by frontman Alex Turner and taken from their sixth LP ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’.
The indie rockers will take on Ben Howard, who has been nominated for his composition ‘Nica Libres at Dusk’, and Hozier for ‘Nina Cried Power’.
Ezra’s ‘Shotgun’ is up for the PRS For Music Most Performed Work award along with ‘Breathe’ by Jax Jones and Ina Wroldsen and ‘These Days’, which was recorded and released by Rudimental, Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen.
The Ivors recognise excellence and achievement in songwriting amongst British and Irish artists for singles and albums as well as TV, film and video game scores.
The recipients for a host of special awards, including Outstanding Song Collection, The Ivors Inspiration Award and International Achievement, will be announced at a later date.
Speaking about this year’s nominees, The Ivors Academy Chair Crispin Hunt said: “The works nominated for The Ivors 2019 are brilliantly diverse, and we’re delighted to see so many first-time nominees recognised. As the only peer-nominated music award in the country, they are a fantastic reflection of the exciting emerging talent of British and Irish music creators today. OHMYGOSSIP — Ride have released the lead single ‘Future Love’ from their forthcoming album ‘This Is Not A Safe Place’.
Former Oasis bassist Andy Bell’s indie shoegazing band – also comprised of Mark Gardener, Laurence ‘Loz’ Colbert and Steve Queralt – will drop their follow-up to 2017’s ‘Weather Diaries’ on August 16.
On the upbeat summertime anthem, Andy sings: “Skies are blue / And I can’t do anything / And the days seem so long / Now you’ve got me going /Yeah, you’ve got me going.”
A press release states that the track is: “steeped in the heady haze of the start of a relationship, when anything seems possible, and one that’s sure to strike a chord as the shimmering start of the summer comes into view.”
The ‘Vapour Trail’ group recorded the new material with regular producer Erol Alkan.
Andy, 48, joined Oasis as the bass player in 2000 along with guitarist Gem Archer following the departure of original members Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs and Paul ‘Guigsy’ McGuigan, and remained in the band until Noel Gallagher quit in August 2009 following a huge backstage bust-up with his brother and the band’s frontman Liam Gallagher.
Liam, Andy and Gem formed new group Beady Eye with drummer Chris Sharrock in the wake of the ‘Supersonic’ rockers’ demise but after releasing two albums, ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ and ‘BE’, they disbanded in October 2014, prompting Andy to reform Ride.
‘This Is Not A Safe Place’ is released on indie label Wichita Recordings.

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea has to re-record some vocals for her new album after her hard drive crashed.
The 28-year-old rapper revealed that although she didn’t lose any entire songs she wasn’t able to retrieve certain files from her drive when it broke beyond repair last week, meaning she’ll have to make some changes on her upcoming record ‘In My Defense’.
The ‘Work’ hitmaker has already started the process and hopes to have the new vocals finished by Friday (26.04.19).
Posting to her 7.94 million Twitter followers, she said: “My hard drive crashed last week. it was unrecoverable. I used a dif engineer for a few sessions and only saved that work to my drive so not everything was double backed up. I didn’t lose full songs. I’m hope to be done officially on Friday. (sic)”
A fan replied to the tweet, writing: “That sucks really, i hope u didnt lost album songs (sic)”
Prompting the ‘Fancy’ rapper to reply: “I didn’t lose any songs, I just don’t have updated vocals to some things and so have had to re record vocals etc. It’s small but time consuming. (sic)”
Iggy went on to apologise to her fans for being absent from social media over the last couple of weeks and insisted that she’s “hyped” for her new album to drop.
She wrote: “I’ve been trying to edit the video, get merch designs done, etc etc while recording and playing catch up for the last two weeks. I’m really sorry I haven’t been online more, I really wanna get everyone hyped for STARTED to drop! Let’s count down when we have 7 sleeps left! (sic)”
The ‘Sally Walker’ hitmaker previously boasted that ‘In My Defense’ is better than “90 per cent” of her previous work.
She tweeted: “F**k. I’m really proud of my album. It sh**s on 95 per cent of everything I’ve ever made & its only half done.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Ronson wants to perform at the Glastonbury Festival with Miley Cyrus.
The 43-year-old musician and Miley, 26, recorded ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ together which went on to become a hit all over the world and Mark is “keeping his schedule clear” over the last weekend of June in case the pop superstar wants to get him on stage to sing their single.
Appearing on ‘The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show’ on BBC Radio 2 on Wednesday (24.04.19), he said: “I would love to make myself available for Miley Cyrus’ Sunday set at Glastonbury. I’m keeping the schedule clear in case she texts me back.”
The ‘Uptown Funk’ hitmaker had wanted to work with Miley ever since he saw her perform on television four years ago and was blown away.
Mark pursued her for years before she finally agreed to record a track with him.
He said: “I saw her four years ago singing on ‘Saturday Night Live’, she sung ‘Fifty Ways To Leave Your Lover’ and I had never heard her sing with that real Nashville drawl before and I was like, ‘One day I would love to make a song with her.’ She just didn’t text me back for four years but everyone has got their own life and things going on so I never take that personally. I’m glad when she finally did call me back it was the right time because I don’t think we would have come up with that a few years ago, so everything happens for a reason.”
The country-tinged collaboration features on Mark’s upcoming fifth album ‘Late Night Feelings’ and he was thrilled he was able to secure the vocal talents of another artist he respects for the LP, Angel Olsen who features on ‘True Blue’.
Speaking about his desire to work with Angel, 32, he revealed: “I just basically stalked her for like a year and sent DMs to management then eventually she got back to me. And we made the song ‘True Blue’ that I love.”
