OHMYGOSSIP — Skepta has announced his new album ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’.
The Grime superstar took to Instagram to share the bold artwork for his first studio effort since 2016’s Mercury Prize-winning ‘Konnichiwa’, which seemingly suggests the ‘Shutdown’ hitmaker may address becoming a father, with what appears to be an image of him holding his child – whose identity he has kept secret since sharing the scan of his tot last year – featured in the visual for the record alongside a gun and smartphone.
The 36-year-old Londoner, who will release the album on May 31, also thanked his team for helping him bring his “ideas to life”.
Alongside the album cover, he wrote: “NEW SKEPTA ALBUM #IGNORANCEisBLISS OUT MAY 31ST – Artwork shot by @haiimmanu @FLIR thank you Metallic mgmt for bringing my ideas to Life. Pre-order the album now. Link in my bio. (sic)”
The 13-track LP was previously called ‘Sklevel’, but the rapper – whose real name is Joseph Junior Adenuga – changed his mind last year.
He wrote on the social media app: “A message to say I love you all, I’ve been working hard and I’m more focused than ever. Changed my album title cos #SkLEVEL is a 2018 pattern. New year, new name. @slowthai album first tho.. see you soon – Skep (sic)”
The album follows Skepta’s 2017 ‘Vicious EP” and his recent diss track ‘Wish You Were Here’ aimed at his bitter rival Wiley.
On the song, Skepta raps: “Hold tight Wiley, where are you?”
The 40-year-old star – who is often labelled The Godfather of Grime – responded with a series of scathing tweets, before releasing his own song ‘Don’t Bread Me’ in response.
One of his digs read: “@Skepta Today my brother I bring you back down to earth.Once and for all.”
The full track-listing for ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’ is yet to be revealed.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna is reportedly set to perform with holograms at the Billboard Music Awards.
The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker will take to the stage at the annual ceremony this week in Las Vegas, and it is said her innovative show will feature holographic images and green screen CGI as she gets placed in a virtual reality world.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “It’s one of the most ambitious performances ever attempted on live TV, and obviously a lot could go wrong.
“It will require perfect timing and positioning to make sure that she interacts properly with the computer-generated visuals, otherwise it won’t work at all.
“She’s just got to Vegas and has rehearsals at the MGM Grand to make sure it’s sensational and makes the splash she’s hoping for.”
The report adds that Madonna – who recently released new single ‘Medellin’ from upcoming album ‘Madame X’ – is determined to take centre stage and get people talking after the event on Thursday night (02.05.19).
She recently said that her new single – which hasn’t been included on the BBC Radio 1 playlist – in part focuses on a time when she was “naive” during her early days in the industry and was “free and pure in [her] expression”.
When asked about her ‘Medellin’ lyric, “I took a pill to be naive, to be someone I’ve never been”, she said: “What I mean by that line is naive in terms of not caring what people think.
“I feel like when I started my career, as an artist, I was naive.
“There was a good thing about being naive because you don’t think about judgement, you don’t think about what people are going to say, or think about what you’re doing, and you’re free and pure in your expression.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Two Door Cinema Club’s Alex Tribble thinks it’s “a little icky” when artists collaborate just to make a quick buck.
The ‘Undercover Martyn’ hitmaker has admitted that unless collaborations are done organically, they can come across as simply a way for the musicians involved to make more money and gain new followers from each other’s respective fanbases.
The band’s frontman told the Daily Star newspaper: “There’s a lot of pressure to collaborate, but it’s used as a marketing strategy as there’s the idea it’ll combine both your audiences.
“When you do it purely from that standpoint, it feels a little icky.”
Meanwhile, the pop group are set to release their fourth LP ‘False Alarm’ on June 14, and the record sees the band “experimenting” with “things that are a little bit wonky”.
Alex said in a statement: “I love the pop thing, I love experimenting and going to different places, I love doing things that are a little bit wonky and I love the idea of doing something we haven’t done before, why can’t we do all of those things at once?
“That’s what it was, doing whatever felt right … It sounds like Two Door Cinema Club – not a Two Door Cinema Club there’d ever been before but that’s what I love.
“We can always do something new but it always feels like something we’ve done.”
The band recently released the singles ‘Talk’ and ‘Satellite’.
The album was recorded with their legendary long-time producer Jacknife Lee – who is renowned for his work with U2, The Killers and REM – and follows their 2016 LP ‘Gameshow’, which reached the top 5 in the UK.
Two Door Cinema Club – which is completed by guitarist Sam Halliday and bassist Kevin Baird – have also just announced a six-date UK arena tour this autumn, including a stop at London’s The O2 on October 11.
The Irish stars also play a number of festivals this summer, including Glastonbury in June, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Middlesbrough and UK festivals including Tramlines, Y-Not and Truck.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brendon Urie wants to bag a collaboration with country crossover star Kacey Musgraves.
The Panic! At The Disco frontman has revealed who is next on his wish-list to duet with, after featuring on Taylor Swift’s huge comeback single ‘ME!’.
The ‘High Hopes’ hitmaker – who is married to Sarah Orzechowski – was asked who he’d like to team up with next during a CMT Crossroads special on the Ask Me Anything YouTube channel, and replied: “[The] first name that comes to mind is Kacey Musgraves” replied Urie. “I’m a huge Kacey Musgraves fan.”
Recalling meeting Kacey, he continued: “We went to a Clive Davis party a year back or two and sat at the same table – the same table as Kacey and Maren Morris.
“But I remember just sitting across from Kacey and me and my wife were losing it, y’know.
“I’m just a huge fan of her voice [and] her songwriting style. I think that would be really really fun to do.”
Brendon has competition though, as Kacey recently revealed she is keen to collaborate with star of the moment Billie Eilish.
When a fan tweeted: “I need a @KaceyMusgraves ft @billieeilish collab (sic)”, the ‘Happy & Sad’ singer replied: “here for that”.
It would certainly be no surprise if Kacey were to work on a track with Brendon, as she has long defended her emo days.
The 30-year-old star was recently asked why her ear lobes were drooping, and she explained that she had her ears stretched when she was a fan of the alternative genre.
She said: “Some of y’all never were into gauging your ears in your early high school years until your nana found your plugs and threw them away and it’s really showing (sic)”
The Grammy-winner – who released the critically-acclaimed LP ‘Golden Hour’ last year – has previously expressed her love for bands from the scene, including Good Charlotte, Dashboard Confessional and Hawthorne Heights.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Jonas Brothers will play their first UK show in almost a decade at Capital’s Summertime Ball.
The pop trio – comprised of brothers Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas – will perform at the annual one-day music extravaganza at Wembley Stadium on June 8, a day after the release of their eagerly-awaited new album ‘Happiness Begins’.
The siblings – who last performed in the British capital on their world tour in 2009 – made their huge comeback with the single ‘Sucker’ in March and they followed the instant hit up with recent album track ‘Cool’.
The announcement was made on the ‘Capital Breakfast show with Roman Kemp’ on Monday (29.04.19) morning, where it was also confirmed that Mark Ronson, Halsey, Ellie Goulding, 5 Seconds of Summer and Khalid are playing the event.
More artists will be confirmed tomorrow morning (30.04.19) on Roman’s early morning show on UK radio station Capital FM.
Several billboards were placed around the UK teasing the news, with a ‘Ball Board’ texted in to the show to help Roman Kemp, Vick Hope and Sonny Jay unveil the star-studded bill live on air.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne has announced his rescheduled ‘No More Tours 2’ dates.
The ‘Paranoid’ hitmaker was forced to postpone all of his shows after battling an infection in his hand, a lengthy war with pneumonia, and most recently having fallen in his home and “dislodged metal rods” in his body from a previous injury.
However, after a recent health update from his son Jack Osbourne – who quipped that the 70-year-old rocker is “back to being his cynical old self” – the former Black Sabbath star has confirmed a six-week run, kicking off at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena on January 31, 2020, and wrapping in Zurich on March 16, 2020.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to getting back to Europe for these shows. Thank you to all the fans for sticking with me and waiting for the new dates to be announced. I can’t wait to see you all next year.”
The tour, to replace the shows originally scheduled for earlier this year, also include dates in Dublin, Ireland, Manchester, Newcastle, The O2 in London, Glasgow and a hometown gig in Birmingham.
The ‘War Pigs’ singer will then head to Germany, Finland, Sweden, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, and Switzerland.
The latest rescheduled dates come after Ozzy – who is married to Sharon Osbourne – confirmed his North American dates, which will kick off in February 2020.
Asked how is dad is doing, Jack said recently: “He’s doing good, yeah. He’s back to being his cynical old self. It’s always a good sign when he’s complaining about mundane things, you know he’s good. He’s back to normal when everything on TV sucks, and when everything in the house is broken. You know, he’s in a good spot.”
Tickets remain valid for all rescheduled tour dates, with the exception of the now cancelled Barcelona and Frankfurt shows, with refunds for the latter two shows available at the point of purchase.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pop star Marina says she has “lost” her ego now.
The 33-year-old singer has just released her new album ‘Love + Fear’, which is her first studio effort since 2015’s ‘Froot’ and the first record released under her new singular Marina moniker as her previous three records were credited to Marina and the Diamonds.
As well as dropping her old stage name, Marina – whose real name is Marina Diamandis – has dropped her ego about her music, even though her attitude shift worried her at first.
In an interview with Gay Times magazine, she said: “A lot of my motives were coming from a place of ego as opposed to creativity or love, but then I lost that feeling and it worried me because I thought all artists have big egos, or at least really good ones do. I thought, if I don’t have that feeling anymore, maybe it means I’m not a good artist and I should just stop.”
‘Love + Fear’ – which features the song ‘Baby’, her collaboration with her boyfriend Jack Patterson’s band Clean Bandit – is split into two eight-song collections, with each collection exploring psychologist Elisabeth Kubler-Ross’ theory that humans are only capable of experiencing those two emotions.
Marina has also toned down her “stylised” image now she is older and more comfortable in herself.
She said: “A shift took place and it just felt like that identity had taken over, everything stopped feeling fun. I just didn’t feel comfortable any more with this very stylised persona that I was building with my imagery.”
The ‘Primadonna’ hitmaker also opened up about her attitude to online trolls, and claims many men want to hurl abuse at strong women because they want to “silence” them.
She said: “When a woman uses her voice in public or speaks up, men send abuse to that female figure. What matter is you’re saying something, and they basically want to silence you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Woodstock 50 has reportedly been cancelled.
The event was supposed to take place in August to honour the 50th anniversary of the original Woodstock festival, but according to funding agency Dentsu Aegis Network, it will no longer be going ahead.
In a statement shared with Billboard, the agency said: “It’s a dream for agencies to work with iconic brands and to be associated with meaningful movements. We have a strong history of producing experiences that bring people together around common interests and causes which is why we chose to be a part of the Woodstock 50th Anniversary Festival. But despite our tremendous investment of time, effort and commitment, we don’t believe the production of the festival can be executed as an event worthy of the Woodstock Brand name while also ensuring the health and safety of the artists, partners and attendees. As a result and after careful consideration, Dentsu Aegis Network’s Amplifi Live, a partner of Woodstock 50, has decided to cancel the festival. As difficult as it is, we believe this is the most prudent decision for all parties involved.”
However, the festival itself has denied Dentsu Aegis Network’s cancellation claims, and says it will be seeking “legal remedy” against the agency.
In a statement shared with local newspaper Poughkeepsie Journal, the organisers said: “Woodstock 50 vehemently denies the festival’s cancellation and legal remedy will (be) sought.”
Woodstock 50 – which was due to take place between August 16-18 in Watkins Glen, New York – has already come under fire after payments to participating artists were delayed, and ticket sales were pushed back as organisers didn’t have a necessary mass gathering permit.
Artists due to perform at the festival included JAY-Z, Chance the Rapper, the Killers, and Miley Cyrus.
But even if the festival does go ahead, they’ll be missing rock duo The Black Keys, who announced earlier this month they were dropping out of the event “due to a scheduling conflict”.
Taking to Twitter, the band wrote: “Due to a scheduling conflict, The Black Keys will unfortunately need to cancel their set at @woodstockfest. The band wants to let fans know as soon as possible and before tickets go on sale. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift thinks her new single will be therapeutic when she performs it live.
The 29-year-old singer unveiled her latest track ‘ME!’ on Friday (26.04.19) and she thinks the Brendon Urie collaboration “will be helpful” when she hears her fans singing the words back at her.
Speaking to the ‘Zach Sang Show’, she explained: “In the moments when I’m feeling really, really low, I think it will be helpful when I get to go on stage and play this song and see other people singing it back to me, so it’s not just a song that’s for, ‘Oh, put this song when you feel good about yourself.’
“Put this song when you don’t feel good about yourself, and maybe that will help you get back to a point.
“That’s how I look at it because I definitely don’t feel good all the time, and I don’t think anybody does.”
Taylor worked with New Zealand songwriter and producer Joel Little in the studio as they started to piece the track together, before bringing in Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon to transform it into a duet.
She added that she wanted the ‘High Hopes’ hitmaker on board because he is “so enthusiastic about music that he would bring the level of energy up”.
Meanwhile, it appears she quickly realised ‘ME!’ should be the first single from her upcoming seventh album despite such a decision always proving difficult.
She added: “As soon as I wrote the chorus, I pretty much knew that this was really special.
“It’s always really difficult to pick a first single for my albums because I try to make an album that’s so vast in it’s a scope that it’s hard to pick which is going to be representative.
“There isn’t ever one song that could just sum up what the album is. But I knew that this one felt like a celebration. It felt like something that could make you feel good.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher appears to be teasing new music.
The former Oasis star tweeted the words “Nature is dancing but we ain’t done yet” on Twitter on Monday night (29.04.19), sparking speculation amongst his fanbase that a new solo song is imminent.
In March, Pete Townshend claimed the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmaker had been working with Oasis producer Dave Sardy again.
The Brooklyn-born studio wizard produced the 51-year-old rocker’s former band’s albums ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’ in 2005 and ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ in 2008, and the pair last worked together on Noel’s High Flying Birds’ self-titled debut record in 2011.
The Who guitarist revealed that the ‘Holy Mountain’ hitmaker had been in the studio with Sardy in Los Angeles, as he has also been working with the ‘Pinball Wizard’ rockers on their new record.
In a studio blog post on their official website, Pete wrote: “Dave Sardy our producer went back to LA for a while to work with Noel Gallagher, but he’s back on Monday.”
Sardy – who is also an acclaimed film scorer and has worked with the likes of Paolo Nutini, Macy Gray, The Killers and Royal Blood – is known for producing big ballads.
Noel’s third High Flying Birds LP ‘Who Built The Moon?’ saw him team up with producer David Holmes on the psychedelic pop record, but he previously revealed that he plans to release another “traditional” album alongside a new one with Holmes.
He said: “I’ve got a whole backlog of songs, I write all the time so I’ve got plenty of material.
“I’m going to make another record with David in this way but the last one took four years so I’ll probably have to make another one alongside it in the more traditional sense.”
Teasing what his new songs are sounding like, Noel previously described them as “70s disco” records.
The ‘Live Forever’ songwriter ditched the usual lyrical references and guitar chords that made him famous in favour of fresh riffs for him.
He said: “Well, 70s disco … like the beginning of the world.”
Meanwhile, Noel’s former Oasis bandmate and sibling Liam, 46, recently blasted him for allegedly signing up to his record label, Warner Music.
The ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker – who signed with the label in 2016 to launch his solo career, with his debut solo LP ‘As You Were’ released a year later – was critical of Noel allegedly joining the major label because he claimed to be an “independent” artist and called him a “mug”.
Logging onto Twitter to react to the news, Liam told his 3.01 million followers: “So news reaches me all the way across these fine shores that the little mug is working with Dave sardine again now tell me this would this be the record your putting out on a major label ie Warner’s ooh thought you were mr independent mr I do everything on my own mr I am the boss (sic)”
The furious rocker added: “He’s just signed to Warner’s my f***ing major record label company ting the 1 he slagged of about a thousand times because he’s a real independent artist he does everything on his own he is so real it’s like realism it’s so f***ing real it’s Laer backwards Dya get me bruvs (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rag’n’Bone Man has been back in the studio with his old rap group Rum Committee.
The ‘Giant’ hitmaker recently reunited with his old bandmate Gi3mo – who formed the outfit – to cook up some songs in the studio, which could potentially turn into a follow-up to their 2016 album ‘Summer Broken’.
Rag – whose real name is Rory Graham – told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’m working on some new stuff with the Rum Committee guys.
“We just did a new tune the other day and it seems like we’re going to be making some more stuff so hopefully there might be another Rum Committee album coming at some point.”
The 34-year-old soul singer-and-rapper loves that not everyone knows about his rapping past and revealed that he’s been inspired by Kendrick Lamar and Anderson Paak, as well as “old school” hip-hop.
He said: “Like 90 % of people don’t know what my background is.
“Some of my fans like that they can see that in the music that I’ve been doing recently and then other people are like: ‘Oh my God I can’t believe you make rap music.’
“I’ve been listening to a lot of old Roots Manuva and new stuff like Anderson Paak and Kendrick Lamar.
“I’ve been going down that organic hip-hop route with a lot of brass ands synths and old school sounds.”
Meanwhile, fans can expect a collaboration with Pharoahe Monch from Rory, which is a dream come true, as Rum Committee previously supported their idol early on in their career.
The ‘Human’ hitmaker said: “I don’t know if I am allowed to say this but f*** it, I’ve done a joint on his new album.”
The US star hasn’t released a record since 2014’s ‘PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kiefer Sutherland hadn’t been home in “almost three years” due to his touring schedule.
The 52-year-old actor-and-musician admits that between playing concerts with his band and shooting his hit ABC show ‘Designated Survivor’ he just didn’t have any time to stay at his Los Angeles home for years.
The ’24’ star revealed that one of the tracks on his new album ‘Reckless and Me’ was inspired by the nostalgia he felt when he came home and saw the first photo of his 31-year-old daughter Sarah – who he has with Camelia Kath – which had been taken moments after her birth.
Speaking on Jessie Ware’s ‘Table Manners’ podcast, he said: “I have a home in Los Angeles, California, but I haven’t been home for almost three years [because of] a combination of things. I shoot a television show called ‘Designated Survivor’ and we shoot that in Toronto and then we would tour the second it was finished to the second it started.
“So there’s a track on the record called ‘Song for a Daughter’ and it’s the last track and I was kind of walking around my kitchen trying to remember where I’d put the pots and the dishes and everything else.
“My daughter’s 31 now and I stumbled across the very first picture of her ever and I had handed her to the nurse who swaddled her up and handed her back to me. So that was the first picture I saw and I got quite emotional because I hadn’t seen it in a while but it kind of came about because I just hadn’t been home for so long and I just got very nostalgic about everything that was there.”
Kiefer’s second studio LP ‘Reckless and Me’ has just been released and he has unveiled a new video for his single ‘Something You Love’, which was shot in Downtown LA and directed by Tom Kirk and produced by Rowan Glenn.
The Hollywood icon’s touring schedule shows no sign of slowing down as he is heading out on the road across the UK and Ireland this summer on ‘Reckless & Me Tour’.

OHMYGOSSIP — The name of Taylor Swift’s new album is hidden in her ‘ME!’ music video.
The 29-year-old singer delighted fans when she dropped new track ‘ME!’ this week, featuring Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie, and she has now revealed that the title of her upcoming seventh album can be found in the accompanying video co-directed by Swift and Dave Meyers.
Taylor wrote on Twitter: “So… the new album title is actually revealed somewhere in the video AND so is the title of the second single, but I haven’t seen people finding them yet…”
Taylor previously revealed that she wanted the song to help people “feel better about themselves”, and said the hotly-anticipated tune is about “embracing your individuality and really celebrating it”.
She told ABC’s Robin Roberts: “‘ME!’ is about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it, and you know, I think that with a pop song we have an ability to get a melody stuck in your head.
“I just wanted it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves.
“The fans are amazing. I can’t believe how much they care.
“So it makes it more fun for me to create music, to create music videos, knowing that they’ll care about little Easter eggs, or clues, or hints.
“You don’t know how much fun that is to make stuff for people who care about it that much.
“So it’s the fans, they’ve always been there and it’s gotten more fun as time has passed.”
Taylor makes a nod to her feud with Kim Kardashian West in the opening few seconds of the video as a pink snake slithers along a cobbled street, and the video also features her pet cats Olivia and Meredith along with Benjamin Button, the newest addition to her feline family.
Before she bursts into song, the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker and Brendon have an argument in French in front of their “young daughters”, Taylor’s cats.
The video features a Mary Poppins-themed scene, which could be a reference to her London-born boyfriend Joe Alwyn, in which Brendon floats while using an umbrella, just as the magical character does in 1964 film ‘Mary Poppins’.
Brendon took to Instagram to thank Taylor for “allowing” him to be part of her “beautiful story” and admitted it was “incredible” to work alongside her.
He shared: “Wait. This really happened?! Like for real?!?! Well I can’t begin to describe how incredible it has been to work on this song and video. So I will simply say: Thank you @taylorswift for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful story. So much f***in love and respect. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift’s celebrity pals have taken to social media to celebrate her latest single.
The 29-year-old star has dropped her new track ‘ME!’ this week, featuring Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie along with an accompanying video she co-directed with Dave Meyers and Taylor’s celebrity fans are thrilled with the new music.
Camila Cabello tweeted: “I am HERE for this new era, and I am HERE for TS7 and I am HERE for this song and video and Meredith, Olivia, and Benjamin getting their video debuts. I LOVE YOU IM A SWIFTIE FOREVER TAKE ALL OF MY MONEY!!! @taylorswift13.”
Taylor’s best friend Selena Gomez shared a link to the video and wrote: “So proud @taylorswift13.”
And Blake Lively revealed herself to be a huge fan of the dreamy, pastel-world Taylor created for the music video.
She posted a link to the video and wrote: “When I die, please bury me here…”
Country superstar Keith Urban also showed his appreciation for Taylor, writing “@taylorswift13…. HELL YESSSSS! You rise up- you do it ALL THE TIME! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!! – KU.”
Taylor retweeted all of the compliments from her pals, along with a sweet message from Brendon.
He wrote: “Wait. This really happened?! Like for real?!?! Well I can’t begin to describe how incredible it has been to work on this song and video. So I will simply say: Thank you @taylorswift for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful story. So much f***** love and respect. #ME!”

OHMYGOSSIP — K.D. Lang believes her music wasn’t played on the radio when she started out because she was openly gay.
The 57-year-old singer came out as a lesbian after the release of her second solo album ‘Ingénue’ in 1992 and looking back at her life in the music business she feels as though she was an “anomaly” who wasn’t “embraced by the world” at the time, however, she revelled in being a “freak of nature” when people’s different sexual preferences weren’t as well understood as they are now.
In an interview with the new issue of MOJO magazine, she said: “There was prejudice against my sexuality for sure. And resistance. I never got played on the radio. I still don’t get played on the radio, but now it’s musical, and back then I’d say it was more about my sexuality. I was an anomaly that they used to modernise country but I wasn’t fully embraced. Though in fairness I didn’t want to be embraced by the world. I loved being a freak of nature in this really traditional world.”
The ‘Constant Crying’ hitmaker went on to speak about how she came out in lieu of her controversial ‘Meat Stinks’ advertising campaign – which was one of the reasons decided to step away from her country roots and embark on a pop career – but she believes being open about her sexuality was overall a “positive experience” for her.
She added: “It wasn’t the precipice of what made me change genres, but it was certainly one of the impetuses. There were bomb threats to my record company in the States. They would drive tractors to block the entrances of shows. Two years later I came out, and in some ways like you light a fire to put out a fire it extinguished the flames. But coming out was a positive experience to me, I mean publicly. I came out to my mum in my early-mid teens. And all my record company people at Sire were gay pretty much.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy has promised to deliver an “iconic” performance during this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
The 25-year-old rap star will close the Pyramid stage on the Friday night of the festival, and he’s assured fans they won’t be disappointed by his performance.
He told BBC Radio 1Xtra: “If you think I got booked for Glastonbury headline to come there and not give you an iconic headline performance, you’ve gone crazy.”
Some fans and critics have questioned whether Stormzy – who has only released one studio album to date – merits being one of the headlining acts at the festival.
But the chart-topping rapper has defended his credentials, saying he’s a “serious musician”.
He explained: “There were so many doubters being like, ‘Oh he hasn’t got no number one song’ or, ‘Oh he’s got one album out, he’s not ready.’ I’m there because I’m a serious musician.”
Earlier this month, meanwhile, Stormzy revealed he is currently working on a new album.
Asked about his future plans, he explained: “The best way to describe my album is that I don’t want no filler songs but I’m going to go an even further step and say I don’t want a filler lyric.
“I don’t want me to be saying anything that’s wasted, anything that’s just there because it rhymes. Literally every single thing is with purpose and with conviction and with expertise.”
