OHMYGOSSIP — Slipknot are teasing a big announcement for Thursday (16.05.19).
Corey Taylor and co sent fans into overdrive when a countdown timer appeared on their website, which stopped at the digits “0516”.
The heavy metallers shared a spooky video teaser with a link to their website on Twitter, with the message: “We are not your kind.

In the cryptic clip, the ‘Wait and Bleed’ hitmakers’ various masks they’ve adorned throughout their 24-year-career appear with old footage of the group.
Corey has been working with special effects legend Tom Savini – who has specialises in horror, with his pieces featuring in movies such as ‘Friday The 13th’, ‘Dawn Of The Dead’ and ‘From Dusk ‘Til Dawn’ – on the new masks.
Percussionist Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan previously revealed that his wife Chantel is not a fan of the new designs.
He said that she “doesn’t like the new masks — I’ll just let the whole world know that. She’s not feeling it at all.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Snuff’ rockers are also set to perform on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Friday (14.05.19), so a new song could get its live debut.
Slipknot will release their long-awaited follow-up to 2014’s ‘.5: The Gray Chapter’ on August 9 via Roadrunner.
Asked to describe the new record in one word, Corey replied: “[It’s] gonna be evil.”
The 45-year-old singer refused to reveal too many details about the new album – but he happily gave fans an idea of the tone they can expect.
He added: “It’s going to be ridiculous. Let’s put it that way.”
Meanwhile, Corey – who recently got engaged to Cherry Bombs star Alicia Dove – also claimed that his troubles with alcohol abuse and divorce from Stephanie Luby in 2017 had inspired his writing.
He said: “You could see it in my skin. You could see it in my eyes.
“That’s basically the journey I’m going to take people on this album … show them what happens to depression when you have no chemicals to fall back on. It’s a pretty dark ride.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Solange will headline Sweden’s gender-balanced Way Out West Festival.
The ‘Cranes In The Sky’ hitmaker will join the likes of Cardi B, The Cure, James Blake and Stormzy at the music extravaganza, which takes place between August 8 and August 10, in the stunning woodland at Slottsskogen Park in Gothenburg.
Way Out West signed up to the Keychange pledge in 2018 with over 150 other festivals to curate a bill comprised of a 50/50 split of male and female performers.
Other female acts on the stellar line-up include Christine and the Queens, Neneh Cherry, Zara Larsson, Mabel and Mahalia.
Solange – the younger sister of Beyonce – recently released her critically-acclaimed fourth studio album ‘When I Get Home’ and has previously opened up about the creative process behind it and how there are signs of things changing when it comes to how women are treated in the music industry.
She said: “I’m comfortable in saying ‘Lets experiment, let’s try new things. You as the actress, you as the performer, what feels right for you?’ And to re-evaluate that.
“But I think ultimately the editing gives me the space to experiment. I think I just feel a lot of safety and comfortability in editing, both in producing and directing: getting as much as I can possibly get out and then reducing it to just the core things that matter …
“It is rather difficult as a producer, to sometimes be reduced to just a songwriter or just an artist, when you spent 18 hours editing one drum sound.
“And I think we’ve come a long way from that for women, but it’s still got a long way to go in the way that we’re able to have that conversation about Rick Rubin, but we aren’t extending that conversation to others … That’s my heart and soul.
“I honestly been have been telling Cassie for I don’t know how many years, ‘When you ready to go in, please let me produce your s**t!'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ezra Koenig is too intimidated to play his music to his girlfriend Rashida Jones’ father, Quincy Jones.
The Vampire Weekend frontman confessed although he’s shared previews of his latest album ‘Father of the Bride’ with friends and family – including the 46-year-old actress, who he’s been dating since 2017 – he’s too shy to show the iconic music producer his tracks.
In an interview with Q magazine, he said: “I saw him last week and he was like ‘When you gonna come play me stuff?’ I really should cos I’d like to.
“It’s one of those things I say to Rashida, ‘Does he really want me to come play the album or is he just being nice to me, like a son-in-law type thing’. She’s like, ‘No you should!'”
The 35-year-old singer explained that the legendary musician is always offering him interesting tips and often emphasises the importance of the song, which is something the ‘A-Punk’ hitmaker strongly believes in.
He said: “One of the things he says is, ‘The best singer in the world can’t make a dud song great, but a bad singer with a good song, you can do something with that’ – and that’s more or less how I feel.”
Although Ezra wants Quincy to hear his tracks eventually, he admitted he’s sick of hearing his own songs.
He said: “We did so many mixes I just don’t want to hear it.”
Last year, the ‘Parks and Recreation’ star made a documentary about her father, titled ‘Quincy’ – which won her a Grammy Award for Best Music Film – and Ezra enjoyed being in such close proximity to the project.
He said: “I learnt stuff that even as a huge music nerd I didn’t know about his life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Doherty’s new single was inspired by an alleged Vanessa Paradis sighting.
The 40-year-old Libertines and Babyshambles star has new song ‘Paradise Is Under Your Nose’ with his latest band fellow The Puta Madres and he claims the inspiration came from French actress Vanessa.
He told NME: “When I was writing the line that I wrote, we were in Amsterdam and Vanessa Paradis came past my hotel window – or someone that looked very much like Vanessa Paradis. So my line is ‘glaciers, polar bears and fountains’.”
However, his bandmate Jack ‘Trampolene’ Jones claims the inspiration for the song actually came from some grafitti he spotted on a toilet wall.
He said: “I had a bad stomach one day in a cubicle one day and I just saw ‘Paradise Is Under Your Nose’ graffitied on the wall, which is nowhere near as cool as seeing Vanessa Paradis – but that’s the truth.”
Meanwhile, Pete recently admitted that he thinks a Babyshambles reunion would be too complicated to pull off.
The band hasn’t been active in five years after some festival shows supporting their third album ‘Sequel To The Prequel’ and while there have been offers to return it would logistically be tough.
Pete explained: “Babyshambles were offered some money to have a comeback. Good band, they were – amazing tunes. [But] no, I don’t think so.
“There’s money involved, f***ing hell. It doesn’t matter how much you love the songs. You can be like, ‘Oh are you going to get Babyshambles back together, Pete?’ But then who’s going to manage Babyshambles? There are all these managerial f***eries with Babyshambles.”
He also admitted there would be issues with figuring out who should be part of a reunited lineup, as he pointed to the difficult task of fitting original guitarist Pat Walden into the mix.
The group was formed in 2003 with Pete and Pat joined by Drew McConnell on bass and Gemma Clarke on drums, and when the group reunited in 2014, Adam Ficek was behind the kit with Mick Whitnall on guitar duties.
He added: “Who are [Babyshambles] anyway? Who’s going to play guitar? It’s gotta be [Mick ], but does Pat want to? Last time we tried to get Pat back, but should we get Mick and Pat?
“If you’re gonna do Babyshambles you’ve got to play ‘Pipedown’, but then you’ve got to play ‘F**k Forever’, and you can’t not play ‘I Wish.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adam Lambert “didn’t believe” he could be a songwriter.
The 37-year-old singer shot to fame when he competed on ‘American Idol’ in 2009, but admitted that with his background being in musical theatre, he didn’t think he had any chance of becoming a chart star, so credits his friend Alisan Porter – who won ‘The Voice’ in 2016 – for encouraging him to follow his dreams.
He said: “Alisan won ‘The Voice’ and was a child actress so she’s been in the business for a long time and I respect her a lot.
“She’s a songwriter and a mother-of-two, and very independent, which I really admire.
“We were in a musical together and became good friends.
“Alisan encouraged me to write a song aged 23 – it was the first time I’d ever done that.
“I didn’t believe I could become a songwriter and a recording artist because if you come from musical theatre, people make assumptions about the type of artist you are.
“Alisan is one of the reasons I made it.”
Adam also praised his mother Leila for always being his biggest fan.
He told Marie Claire magazine: “Mom has always given me unwavering love and support.
“As a teenager, she became more than just a mom to me. She was my friend and we were really close.
“I remember going on a trip together to New York when I was 14 and we laughed a lot.
“She’s always been my number one, telling me I’d make it before I really believed it.”
Though the ‘Ghost Town’ singer admitted his life “changed a great deal” after he found fame, he vowed never to move on from his loyal friends.
Speaking about his pal Danielle Stori, he said: “We grew up down the street from one another and Danielle is like my sister.
“When the ‘Idol’ thing happened, she said, ‘I feel like I’m gonna lose you now.’ I remember saying, ‘That will never happen.’
“My life changed a great deal but I was 27 and knew the people I loved weren’t going anywhere.
“I respect Danielle a great deal. She’s hugely inspirational to me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — St. Vincent has shared an essay to mark the ten-year anniversary of her album ‘Actor’.
The 36-year-old musician – whose real name is Annie Clark – released the album back in 2009 and has been reflecting on the struggles she went through in order to finish the record.
She shared: “I remember having deep and lengthy conversations about 80’s 4AD and Tones on Tail and late Scott Walker records (the Mussolini and beating meat stuff!) with a producer whose work I admired and decided to work with and who convinced me to work on tape (sic)”
However, the sessions weren’t fruitful and she ultimately decided to take the reels of tape to Johnny C, her friend, who helped her to record the album.
She added: “I haven’t listened to that record in a while. I have always likened listening to older work to looking at junior high year book photos. If one is lucky, one can muster compassion for one’s younger self. Recognise that time is elastic. Notes are elastic. Lyrics elastic. Could have been anything.
“Any songs, any ideas at all, anyone at that time. But it was those songs and those ideas and that process and that person. And I am (humbly) proud of it. And so happy that ‘Actor’ made it to the ears and hearts it did. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Demi Lovato has hired Scooter Braun as her new manager.
The 26-year-old pop star – who suffered a drug overdose in July last year – has taken to her Instagram account to announce she’s now joined forces with Scooter, who is well-known for having represented the likes of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
She wrote on the photo-sharing website: “GUYS!!!!!!! Dreams came true today for me. I officially have a NEW MANAGER!!! And not just any new manager but the one and only @scooterbraun!!!! Couldn’t be happier, inspired and excited to begin this next chapter with you Scooter!!! Thank you for believing in me and for being apart of this new journey. Let’s DO THIS!!!!!! (sic)”
In late 2018, meanwhile, Demi revealed she felt “sober and grateful to be alive” after her overdose.
The pop star – who spent time in rehab after she was found unconscious at her Los Angeles home – reassured fans she was fine but also asked for some space.
She wrote on Twitter: “I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME…
“I’m so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body and soul and come back when I’m ready. I have my fans to thank for that. I’m so grateful, truly. I love you guys so f**king much thank you (sic).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Skepta wants to “refresh the game” with his new album.
The ‘Shutdown’ hitmaker’s new LP ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’ is out on May 31 and he wants to show off a range of “different sounds” through it.
He said: “I really wanted to refresh the game with like new sounds, new music. I wanna make different sounds, that’s what used to make me want to listen to the whole grime scene, you couldn’t hear one track that sounded the same … I don’t think one track on my album sounds the same out of the thirteen, everything’s different, and like the bars that I’m spitting is just factual lyrics.”
The 36-year-old rapper also feels London has become increasingly important on the music scene.
Speaking to Annie Mac and DJ Target on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra, he added: “Breaking America isn’t a thing anymore – people don’t want to just break America. People understand this world and if you do this London thing it goes everywhere – people want to know what slang we speak here, people want to know what we wear, people want to know what we do, what clubs we go to and stuff like that.
Skepta announced the planned release last month, with it being his first studio release since 2016’s Mercury Prize-winning ‘Konnichiwa’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler reunited with estranged band member Bill Ward at the Grammy Salute To Music Legends ceremony.
The ‘Paranoid’ group were honoured by The Recording Academy with a Lifetime Achievement Award and the 71-year-old guitarist and 69-year-old bassist were pictured with the 71-year-old drummer as they attended the special tribute event at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday (11.05.19).
The evening saw Rival Sons – who supported the band during their final ‘The End World Tour’ – perform for the heavy metal legends.
Iommi wrote on Facebook: “Another Grammy! Great performance from Rival Sons yesterday, thanks guys.”
Whilst Butler took to Twitter to share a picture with Ward backstage, and captioned the snap: “Last night at the #grammy #LifetimeAchievementAwards #TonyIommi #BillWard.”
The last time Ward and the band were together was at the 2015 Ivor Novello Awards, where they were handed the Lifetime Achievement Award in London.
The sticksman was set to reunite with the ‘War Pigs’ rockers – completed by frontman Ozzy Osbourne – in 2015, but opted out of the group’s reunion over what he called an “unsignable” contract.
All four original members had announced the reunion was on in 2011.
However, he parted aways with his bandmates a year later.
The trio continued and released their last record ’13’ in June 2013 and embarked on an extensive tour without Ward.
For their last ever performance in their hometown of Birmingham, in February 2017, Sabbath had session drummer Tommy Clufetos replace the drummer.
Commenting on touring without Ward, Iommi said at the time: “‘It would have been nicer to have Bill with us but unfortunately it never happened.”
Osbourne added that he was determined they would make a mends.
He said: “At some point I wanna call him. I still love him, he’s still my brother, but yuo have arguments. To be honest with you, I don’t know what the f**k happened because I don’t do the business side of it. I’m sorry Bill couldn’t work something out, I really am. (But) I’m really glad we did this tour.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber have released new collaboration ‘I Don’t Care’.
The pair dropped the track, which is produced by Max Martin, Shellback and FRED, on Friday morning (10.05.19) alongside an accompanying lyric video.
Ed, 28, wrote on Instagram: “Me and @justinbieber have got a new song out. It’s called “I Don’t Care” hope you like it x (sic)”
Justin, 25, tweeted: “It’s out. I don’t care (sic)”
The ‘Company’ hitmaker seemed to enjoy doing a countdown ahead of the song’s release.
He tweeted: “Been a long time since I’ve done a countdown to new music:) 20 minutes to go. #IDC (sic)”
Ed celebrated the release with some beers in Cambodia, where he is currently holidaying with his wife Cherry Seaborn, and he asked fans to play the song “loud”.
On Thursday (09.05.19), he wrote: “Hope everyone enjoys the music coming out tomorrow. I’m super happy and proud of it. I’m currently in Cambodia in the jungle, but I’ve got a few bottles of beer for me and Cherry (and @securitykev) to celebrate the release tomorrow. Please play the song loud, dance, sing, smile to it. And tell your mum. Love you all x (sic)”
‘I Don’t Care’ appears to be about not fitting in but not worrying about things when you are with a significant other.
Some of Ed’s lyrics on the tune include: “Cause I don’t care when I’m with my baby, yeah, all the bad things disappear.
“And you’re making me feel like I maybe I am somebody.”
And Justin sings: “I can deal with the bad nights when I’m with my baby, yeah. Cause I don’t care.”
‘I Don’t Care’ is Justin’s first single as a lead artist since 2017’s ‘Friends’.
That song came after he released four singles from his fourth studio album ‘Purpose’, including ‘Sorry’ and ‘Lose Yourself’, which was written by Ed.
Ed’s last single was ‘Happier’, which he dropped in April last year, the fifth tune from his third studio album ‘Divide’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus will release new music on May 30.
The 26-year-old star changed her Instagram and Twitter biographies to announce a new record, seemingly called ‘She Is Coming’, is on the way very soon.
The description simply reads: “SHE IS COMING 5/30 [crown emoji] (sic)”
Prior to confirming the date, the ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ hitmaker also posted three black-and-white, strobe effect videos on Instagram, each one just featuring one of the words in the title.
And Miley is confident fans will be delighted with the release, though she hasn’t made it clear if it’s just a single or her next album.
She tweeted: “Just played the record for @iHeartRadio and they f**king flipped and so will you! [crossed finger emojis] (sic)”
Earlier this year, the ‘Malibu’ hitmaker spoke about her inspiration when it came to working on her next album – the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Younger Now’ – with producer Mark Ronson and accidentally let one of her song titles slip.
She said: “Me and [producer] Mark [Ronson] have worked on a bunch of songs on my next record, so I was kind of just in this creative space.
“Sometimes the visuals of what I can imagine it looking like can even inspire me in the vocal booth, and so you can put those messages you want to bring – what it’s really about to you – into it.
“I’m such a visual person, that when I record a vocal take – this is really creepy, this is a girl thing – I imagine what lipstick I’ll be wearing in the music video… like ‘Bad Karma’ – ooh, I shouldn’t have said that, well, there you go. A song that we’ve done together…”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shakespears Sister’s 26-year fall-out was due to being pitted against one another by “divisive personages” within their team.
The ‘Stay’ hitmakers, made up for former Bananarama star Siobhan Fahey and US musician Marcella Detroit, finally put the past behind them after more than two decades of being estranged 12 months ago, after the former plucked up the nerve to get in touch with her old bandmate after attending a special yoga class for “intense inner work and growth”.
For the first time, the pair have explained what was really happening behind the scenes and how all these years later, they discovered that their friendship broke down because of “miscommunications” from the people around them which they both misinterpreted and led to a “fraught atmosphere” in their final days as a duo in early 90s.
Siobhan recalled to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “The s*** around us got in the way of our friendship and then the mutual paranoia built up.
“The environment around us  . . .  there were certain personages who were divisive.
“There were a couple of incidents. I think in the past few months of our touring I was counting down the days because it was so difficult.
“The atmosphere was so fraught, we weren’t speaking. It was no fun.”
On how yoga motivated her to reunite with Marcella, despite having so many “unresolved emotions”, she added: “It was something that I had parked many years ago, and I don’t like confrontation.
“But after intense inner work and growth, I finally grasped the nettle.
“It took a lot of courage for me to do it because I knew I had so many unresolved emotions around it.
“But I also knew that if I didn’t do it, I would never be able to make my peace with what was a glorious past.
“I started doing a deeply spiritual form of yoga, Kundalini, which has really helped me to evolve as a person.
“It took a lot to get to that point where you step out of the blame game.”
Once the initial awkwardness was over, the pair were able to immediately “clear the air” after pinpointing the “misconceptions” that had taken place years ago.
Marcella admitted: “I didn’t know what to expect. Should I bring my boxing gloves? It was emotional and a little bit bumpy at first, maybe a little uncomfortable.
“But we cleared the air. There were misconceptions on both our parts and it was mostly due to miscommunications from the people around us at the time.
“We were able to discuss it like, ‘Oh that’s not really what happened at all’. It was good.”
Siobhan – who founded the group in 1988 – axed Marcella from the band in 1993.
Marcella found out she had been booted out of the duo when Siobhan’s publisher read out an acceptance speech at the 1993 Ivor Novello Awards ceremony after Shakespears Sister’s second studio album ‘Hormonally Yours’ had won Best Contemporary Collection of Songs.
In the speech, Siobhan wished Marcella “all the best for the future” and added “all’s well that ends well”.
Siobhan, 60, ended the project herself in 1996 but in 2009 she revived the name and released album ‘Cosmic Dancer’ in 2011.
But the record failed to chart and the project disappeared again.
Once they put their feud behind them, the pair realised they have an “easy, free-flowing creative connection” in the studio.
Siobhan said: “We’ve got very similar attitudes to life and certainly we have a ridiculously easy and free-flowing creative connection.”
Shakespears Sister will release their new single ‘All The Queen’s Horses’ on May 15, followed by greatest hits record ‘Singles Party’ on July 19.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian May has turned his hand to mentoring the next generation of artists starting with new girl band King’s Daughters.
The Queen guitar legend has had the four-piece, comprised of former ‘X Factor’ hopeful Talia Dean – who was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger on the 2017 series – Rosetta Carr, Isabel Lysell and Vicky O’Neon, in his studio this week and is said to also be helping them with songwriting and even played a chord or two on their debut track.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Brian is taking a much more active role than his picture suggests.
“He’s co-written their debut single, which is an uplifting and empowering pop track, and even plays guitar on it.
“He’s taken on a mentor role, connecting them with industry bosses and giving advice. The band see themselves as a modern-day Spice Girls.”
Alongside a picture of the ‘We Will Rock You’ hitmaker with the group, Brian wrote on Instagram: “My pals — them poor girls — ! King’s Daughters ! Invading my studio ! Making a hit record on the quiet — watch out ! @kingsdaughterss — Bri (sic)”
When he’s not mentoring girl bands, Brian is busy raising awareness of animal abuse and climate change.
The ‘We Are The Champions’ hitmaker recently admitted he would like to see another Live Aid-type concert put on to help tackle climate change.
The rocker, astrophysicist and noted environmentalist has called on musicians to come together again and repeat 2007’s ‘Live Earth’ concerts, which featured more than 150 musical acts in 11 locations, including Madonna, Foo Fighters, Metallica, The Black Eyed Peas and Shakira, to gather public support for action against climate change.
Brian said: “It probably would take the younger generation to take that bull by the horns.
“We’d help in any way we can but I think that’s what it would require.”
Although, he admitted it’s “not quite as easy” as putting on a concert to raise awareness.
He said: “People have seen so many concerts since Live Aid purporting to be solving the problems of the world so it’s not quite as easy as it seems.”
Brian previously pledged to challenge the UK government’s decision to press ahead with a badger cull, and has spoken with the UK’s Environment Secretary Michael Gove to discuss alternative options.
The 71-year-old musician said: “It takes courage to stand up for animals, you take a lot of abuse.”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Ezra and his brother Ten Tonnes discussed forming a “dad rock band” when they are in their forties.
The ‘Shotgun’ hitmaker’s younger sibling has followed in his footsteps, having just released his self-titled debut solo album, and although he is adamant he wants to remain “independent” and doesn’t want George’s help launching his career, he revealed they did once talk about joining forces on a musical project when they are older.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Ten Tonnes – whose real name is Ethan Barnett – laughed: “Me and George always had a plan of forming a dad rock band when we are in our forties.
“It would be big, 12- string guitars and chilled-out vibes. I don’t know if that will ever happen as it’s nice to keep the two things separate.”
The 22-year-old indie rocker – who is just three years younger than pop star George – admitted they wouldn’t work well in the same band, as they’d probably “get on each other’s nerves” , although they are super “close” and supportive of one another.
He said: “We are close and both love what we are doing and hearing each other’s tunes.
“But if I’m honest, I think we’d just get on each other’s nerves. It’s a personal thing.”
The pair’s father, teacher Paul, is also into his music and has his own garage band.
Asked if they would be like Oasis, The Osmonds or The Bee Gees if they were all in the same family band, Ethan replied: “Definitely The Bee Gees, just because I like their music best.”
Ethan turned down his brother’s advice from the start and insisted he will keep it that way.
He said: “I’ve always been pretty independent and done my own thing. That’s been the same since I started making music.
“When I first started, George said to me that he could help as much as I wanted and offer advice but I said, ‘No I am sweet. I don’t need to know anything.’ It’s been that way ever since.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish nearly pulled her debut album on the eve of its release because she didn’t want to be told how other people “feel about this thing I love”.
The ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker felt like she was protecting her “child” and was nervous about the response she would get for ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’, which she dropped in March, and called a meeting with her management to ask them not to go ahead with its release.
Billie admitted: “I’ve never felt that way, where it’s my child and I don’t want anybody’s hands on it.”
The 17-year-old pop star recalled telling her team: “Can we not put this out?”, and added that she felt like, “I don’t want to do it anymore.”
She continued: “[It’s rare] to actually really f**k with what you make and create.
“I didn’t want the world to be able to tell me how they feel about this thing I love.”
However, the ‘Bury Your Friend’ singer had nothing to worry about, as she ended up becoming the youngest female artist to score a number one album with her debut studio effort.
She added to Billboard magazine: “But the response has been crazy.”
Things just keep going from strength-to-strength for the young superstar, who was recently upgraded to The Other Stage at Glastonbury due to her popularity.
Billie was due to play the John Peel Stage at Worthy Farm in Somerset, but the festival’s co-ograniser Emily Eavis revealed she is “much too big” now.
Emily – who curates the line-up with her father Michael Eavis – said: “We’re currently moving her – she’s on John Peel at the moment but she’s much too big, really, for the slot.
“It’s happened so quickly for Billie Eilish. It’s been such an amazing year. It really is going to be her summer.
“We are trying to give her a bigger stage where we can get a larger audience in there.
“So we are going to move her on to The Other Stage and we are just working out exactly where that’s going to be.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher joked that his children are “lucky bastards” to have him as a dad as he performed at the London Palladium on Thursday night (09.05.19).
The 51-year-old rocker played an intimate gig at the historic venue and among the 2,300 fans in attendance were his wife Sara MacDonald and their two sons, Donovan, 11, and Sonny, eight, and Noel’s 19-year-old daughter Anais – whose mother is his ex-wife Meg Mathews.
Showcasing his sarcastic humour, Noel dedicated his High Flying Birds hit ‘AKA… What A Life!’ to his three kids by saying: “I’d like to dedicate this song to my three kids who are here. You lucky bastards. You lucky, lucky bastards.”
It was the first time that Noel had ever played the London Palladium – which has been open for over 100 years – and the rich history of the venue was not lost on him, especially the fact that some of the ashes of the late showbiz legend Sir Bruce Forsyth are scattered beneath the stage.
Before singing Oasis single ‘The Importance of Being Idle’, he said: “Did you know that Bruce Forsyth has some of his ashes scattered beneath this stage? That’s quite interesting isn’t it? The Beatles played here, too. That’s cool.”
Noel treated fans to a set made up of tracks from his three solo albums, with highlights including ‘Holy Mountain’, ‘Lock All the Doors’ and ‘If I Had A Gun…’, and Oasis classics such as ‘The Masterplan’, ‘Half the World Away’ and ‘Wonderwall’.
He also performed two songs from his upcoming EP; current single ‘Black Star Dancing’ and ‘Rattling Rose’, an Americana influenced track on which he was joined by a total of six female backing singers.
After a rousing rendition of ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’, Noel briefly left the stage before returning for his encore which featured the anthemic Oasis number one ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ and his cover version of The Beatles song ‘All You Need Is Love’.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ new EP will be released on 14 June and it will be followed by two more four-track EPs, which will be released between now and Christmas.
Noel and his band will be touring across the UK and the rest of the world throughout this summer, including a mammoth show in his hometown of Manchester at Heaton Park on 7 June.
