OHMYGOSSIP — Courtney Love has teased there has been “talk” of a Hole reunion.
The 54-year-old grunge rocker – who was married to late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, with whom she had 26-year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain – has revealed she and her bandmates have discussed getting back together and admitted it’s only recently that she has realised there is “nothing wrong” with “honouring your past”.
In an interview with The Guardian newspaper, she admitted: “We are definitely talking about it. There’s nothing wrong with honouring your past; “I’ve just kind of discovered that.
“If you don’t, people will rewrite history and you will become an inconvenient woman.”
The ‘Celebrity Skin’ hitmakers classic line-up – comprised of Courtney, Patty Schemel, Eric Erlandson and Melissa Auf Der Maur – haven’t performed a major show together since 1998.
Although they hosted a mini reunion at an after-party for the documentary ‘Schemel’ in 2012, which saw the four-piece play ‘Miss World’ and ‘Over the Edge’.
And it’s not just the frontwoman who is keen for a reunion, as bassist Melissa expressed her desire to get the band back together earlier this year, as she would love to have a “piece of their glory back”.
She said: “We’re older, we’re mellow.
“I feel this would be the moment to do it. We did a few little gigs over the years but nothing substantial, which by the way I am quite happy about, to be honest.
“Now it’s been exactly 20 years since I’ve left the band, and I want a piece of our glory back.
“Hole was a very good band, and I want to let everybody know it’s important that women in rock music also get remembered, even if they were in the shadow of their husband.”
Hole released three albums between 1991 and 1998, before going their separate ways in 2002.
Courtney released the record ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ under the band’s name in 2010, which was originally a solo album titled ‘How Dirty Girls Get Clean’, and was worked on in 2006, after she faced a multitude of legal issues and spent time in rehab for drug addiction.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi’s Tinder profile is just as hilarious as his Twitter feed.
The ‘Someone You Loved’ hitmaker – whose jokes have inspired an endless stream of memes online – is on the dating app and revealed some of the key parts of his bio, which he quipped is “f***ing tremendous”, including the fact he was a “BRITs Critics’ Choice Awards nominee”.
According to the Metro newspaper, he laughed: “My Tinder bio is f***ing tremendous … it’s ‘BRITs Critics’ Choice nominee’.
“I have one dog and I’m very good at fighting, so those are two key things people look for in a potential mate.
“He’s 17 years old. He’s blind in one eye. But I love him.”
The 22-year-old Glaswegian previously admitted he’s not had much luck on Tinder.
He said: “It’s a barren experience for me, man. I’m not very successful at all.”
Whilst he’s not much had success on dating apps, Lewis has caught the attention of fellow Scot Susan Boyle, 58, who has wished him well with his debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent’, which went to number one, and asked the ‘Grace’ singer to get in touch with her to form a supergroup.
She tweeted: “Congratulations @LewisCapaldi on your first UK Number 1 album. Welcome to the club! Now how about that Scottish super group you mentioned?”
In a Twitter video, the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star said: “Hi, Susan Boyle here. Some of you might know me from that hashtag – what a party that was.
“Right Mr Capaldi, less of your peely-wally. Let’s discuss that supergroup. Come on over.
“All the best to you, and your new album, I hope it does really well.
“There’s something in the West Lothian water here, isn’t there?”
However, Lewis is yet to respond to Susan’s plea.
Meanwhile, Lewis has joked that his Glastonbury set on The Other Stage could be “the end of his career”.
Alongside a series of pictures, including ones holding a giant teddy bear, he wrote on Instagram: “I’M PLAYING GLASTONBURY Saturday at 4pm on the Other Stage if you want to see me bottle it and end my career x (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez has left Epic Records to join L.A. Reid’s imprint Hitco Entertainment.
The ‘On The Floor’ singer has had a longstanding partnership with the 62-year-old record executive as she was signed to Island Def Jam when he was in charge and she followed him over to Epic in 2016, when he became the CEO and Chairman.
And now she is said to have made the move to Hitco, which Reid setup last year after leaving Epic, although her Spanish music will remain on Sony Music Latin.
Jennifer returned with new single ‘Medicine’ featuring rapper French Montana last month, and the track marked her first song on Hitco.
The ‘Second Act’ star produced some of her biggest hits when she was first signed to Epic in 1999, including ‘Play’ and ‘Jenny From the Block’.
Jennifer’s last studio record was her eighth studio album, 2014’s ‘A.K.A’, which was released on Captiol.
The LP included collaborations with Pitbull, French T.I., Iggy Azalea, Rick Ross, Nas and Tyga.
Before releasing ‘Medicine’, Jennifer dropped the track ‘Limitless’ from her movie ‘Second Act’.
The actress-and-singer also provided vocals on Bryan Adams’ ballad ‘That’s How Strong Our Love Is’ from his comeback LP ‘Shine a Light’, which was released on March 1.
Meanwhile, the Hollywood star is set to tour the US to mark her 50th birthday.
The superstar turns the millstone age on July 24, and teased the forthcoming summer run, which will be entitled the ‘It’s My Party Tour’, which will see her perform throughout June and July.
She spilled recently: “This summer I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday, since it’s a big birthday.
“I’m going on a US tour, it’s called ‘It’s My Party’… “We’re only doing 25, 28 shows, something like that. It’s just a small amount of shows, but we’ll be out all through June and July.”
The US tour kicks off at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 7.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Arthur claims he has to deal with “snobbery” in the music industry because he started out on ‘The X Factor’ and it’s his talent show past that stops him from being booked for Glastonbury.
The 31-year-old singer is desperate to perform at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, but fears that because he is a previous winner of Simon Cowell’s talent show that he is “overlooked” by Michael and Emily Eavis.
James actually thinks it’s “amazing” that he’s managed to “sustain a career” after being crowned the winner of the ninth series of the programme in 2012.
Speaking on UK TV show ‘This Morning’, he said: “It’s amazing that I’ve managed to sustain a career. It’s amazing what the likes of myself Olly Murs, Little Mix, have been able to do to be considered viable enough to come from a show like that and still be relevant. Because there’s a little bit of snobbery attached to being from a reality TV show and maybe we get overlooked for things like that [Glastonbury] and for me it sucks because I believe I’m made for those kinds of things.”
The ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ hitmaker went on to say that he had no alternative route into the music business other than ‘The X Factor’, as he didn’t have “people pumping finance” into him as a youngster from a modest background.
He said: “I was in a position where I had to go for ‘The X Factor’ I didn’t have any money, I didn’t have people pumping finance into me which a lot of these guys have. You hear these guys on the radio who are billed as these kinds of home grown [artists] and they’ve worked their way up but really they come from some kind of money I think, and that’s not me being bitter it’s a fact.”
It may not be too late for James to be added to this year’s already star-studded line-up as it was announced this week that Lewis Capaldi, The Proclaimers and Japanese pop-metal band Babymetal have been added to the bill.
They join previously announced headliners Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure, as well as other performers such as Miley Cyrus, Liam Gallagher, Janet Jackson and George Ezra.

OHMYGOSSIP — Slash has confirmed Guns N’ Roses have started work on their new album.
The ‘November Rain’ rockers were planning to hit the studio to work on the original line-up’s first record since 1993’s ‘The Spaghetti Incident? after their tour ends in autumn, however, the guitarist has revealed that the band members have recently got together to bounce ideas off one another and what has been discussed so far has him hyped.
Slash – who is joined by Axl Rose, Duff McKagan, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed and drummer Frank Ferrer in the band – told Detroit’s 101 WRIF radio station: “The thing is, we haven’t really done anything yet, and I don’t like to say anything. You know how people used to promote shit and lie through their teeth?
“So I just wanted to be honest about it, and so there was really no telling what we were going to do at that point.
“But at this point, I do know that we are going to do this run of autumn shows, and we’ve already started working on stuff. So, there you go.
“I’m excited about what we’ve got going on and everything, so it’s going to be cool.”
Asked just last month where they were at in regards to a new record, Slash replied: “I wouldn’t say we’ve really sat down and had those sessions yet.”
The 53-year-old rock legend, who is also touring and planning to pen new material for his other band, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, continued: “The Conspirators are finishing up in mid-August and then Guns is going out in late September/October, so in the fall.
“But at the same time, we’re focused on working towards this new record that everybody’s been asking about. So start focusing on that in earnest. And that’s it.
“I’m not thinking about anything else while that is going on. That’s really the main focus.
“By the time the Conspirators tour is done, I will have written enough material for the next Conspirators record that whenever that break comes up with Guns N’ Roses we can go on to do that.
“We’ll just juggle all this stuff, schedules permitting.”
The ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ hitmaker admitted that he is clueless when it comes to what the record will sound like.
He confessed: “I have no f***ing idea. I really couldn’t tell you. It’s like anything else – you don’t know what it is until it’s done.”
Slash’ album update came after bassist Duff confirmed the record is “real” but the band want to surprise their fans, whilst he admitted they won’t be tied down to any kind of schedule.
He said: “Oh, it’s real, but the fun part and the cool part about Guns N’ Roses is we don’t really talk about it, and what happens next just happens.
“It’s never been that band that there’s a direct schedule of how we do things. I’ve heard some magnificent stuff that Axl has, really cool stuff he’s been working on.
“So I’m excited about the possibilities with that, of course. I don’t mean to get anybody rabid. Our day will happen when it happens, that’s for sure.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Baddiel and Skinner’s classic football song ‘Three Lions’ has been rewritten as ‘Three Lionesses’ in support of the England Lionesses ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019.
Comedians David Baddiel and Frank Skinner gave their permission alongside The FA for the song to be rewritten in a special commission by Lucozade Sport, as part of the sport drink’s support of women’s football.
The famous song was penned by Baddiel and Skinner in 1996, but was reworked to include the names of members of the England Lionesses, in an effort to make them as much household names as their male counterparts.
Names included in the original ‘Three Lions’ such as Gary Lineker, Nobby Stiles, and Bobby Moore have been replaced by Lionesses Steph Houghton, Jordan Nobbs, and Jade Moore.
The song is being used as the soundtrack to Lucozade Sport’s new advert, which tells the story of women footballers overcoming prejudices to make it to the international stage.
And the track is also part of the sports drink’s campaign to inspire support for the Lionesses this summer, which includes encouraging women to try football by giving away 90,000 minutes of free pitch time nationwide through Powerleague and Goals football centres.
Footballer Jordan Nobbs said: “I know the players love the ‘Three Lionesses’ track and I hope it inspires the team to World Cup glory. This is an incredible time for women’s football as awareness and popularity continues to grow and initiatives such as the 90,000 free minutes make it easier than ever for more women to give football a go.”
While Clair Keaveny, head of marketing for Lucozade Sport, added: “Arguably ‘Three Lions’ is the most iconic England song so we’re proud to be able to give it a Lionesses twist in support of the team and the women’s game in general. Our aim is to stir up support for the Lionesses, but also inspire a generation to get moving and try football.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus will release her new album ‘She Is Coming’ on Friday (31.05.19).
The 26-year-old star shared the artwork for her follow-up to 2017’s ‘Younger Now’ on Twitter on Sunday (27.05.19) and confirmed the imminent release date.
Alongside the black and white shot of her rocking a Sex Pistols top with ‘Never Mind The B******s” emblazoned across it, a nod to the British punk band’s 1977 album ‘Never Mind the B******s , Here’s the Sex Pistols’, Miley captioned the post with a link to pre-save the album: “SHE IS COMING 5/31 http://miley.lk/sheiscoming (sic)”
It has been reported that the LP is set to feature collaborations with RuPaul and rappers Swae Lee, and Ghostface Killah.
At Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Middlesbrough on Saturday (25.05.19), Miley surprised the crowd by performing three new songs, ‘Mother’s Daughter’, ‘Cattitude’ and ‘Dream’.
Prior to revealing the release date, the ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ hitmaker previously posted three black-and-white, strobe effect videos on Instagram, each one just featuring one of the words in the title of the LP.
And Miley is confident fans will be delighted with her new collection of songs.
She tweeted: “Just played the record for @iHeartRadio and they f**king flipped and so will you! [crossed finger emojis] (sic)”
Earlier this year, the ‘Malibu’ hitmaker spoke about her inspiration when it came to working on her next album with producer Mark Ronson and accidentally let one of her song titles slip.
She said: “Me and [producer] Mark [Ronson] have worked on a bunch of songs on my next record, so I was kind of just in this creative space.
“Sometimes the visuals of what I can imagine it looking like can even inspire me in the vocal booth, and so you can put those messages you want to bring – what it’s really about to you – into it.
“I’m such a visual person, that when I record a vocal take – this is really creepy, this is a girl thing – I imagine what lipstick I’ll be wearing in the music video… like ‘Bad Karma’ – ooh, I shouldn’t have said that, well, there you go. A song that we’ve done together…”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean Paul is hoping his pal Idris Elba can turn him into a movie star.
The ‘Temperature’ rapper teamed up with the ‘Luther’ actor for the music video for grime star Wiley’s song ‘Boasty’ in March, along with rap queen Stefflon Don.
The promo was directed by Henry Scholfield and saw Wiley replaced by a younger actor, whilst the trio played themselves.
After working with the Golden Globe winner, the ‘Get Busy’ hitmaker thinks he is in with the chance of becoming a villain on the big screen.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper, Sean said: “I’ve thought about it and feel like maybe I can be the bad guy – the evil one!
“Idris can hook me up, I think I’ll visit him with a few friends and make sure it happens.”
The 46-year-old dancehall star says he’s been offered roles in the past but he hasn’t found the time to focus on acting yet.
However, he admitted he wouldn’t mind launching his movie career later in life.
He added: “There have been one or two previous roles but I didn’t have the time to concentrate on it at the time, but I guess in the future I look forward to that.
“If I wait too long I’ll be an old bad villain but then that’s not too bad.”
Sean recently joined Rita Ora on stage at her show at The O2 in London to perform their yet-to-be-released song ‘Call On Me’, and the pair have another collaboration in store for fans.
He said: “We’ve done two songs together and one of them I really like and we are setting a date to when it should come out.
“It’s about family, and who is there for you, called ‘Call On Me.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams and Guy Chambers have channelled the Britpop era for the soundtrack to David Walliams’ new musical ‘The Boy In The Dress’.
The ‘I Love My Life’ hitmaker and his long-time songwriting partner have teamed up with the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge and author on the music for his new production based on his debut children’s tome, which was published in 2008, and tells the story of a young boy who enjoys cross-dressing and how his loved ones reacted.
Guy – who released his debut solo album entitled ‘Go Gentle Into The Light’ earlier this month – has revealed their new tunes were inspired by the period in the mid-1990s which was dominated by bands such as Oasis, Radiohead and Blur and Robbie’s first solo album, ‘Life Thru a Lens’, which he released in 1997 and saw him move away from his band Take That’s pop sound and was largely inspired by the Britpop movement.
The show is by the Royal Shakespeare Company and is set to launch this November in the birthplace of late literary legend William Shakespeare; Stratford-Upon-Avon.
Speaking to m-magazine.co.uk, Guy said: “It’s a musical based on David’s book and basically, it’s very like the first album we did, Life thru a Lens. It’s got that sort of Britpop feel to it, lots of guitars and sunny pop songs, there’s also some sad pop songs. And the opening night is 9 November in Stratford-Upon-Avon.”
The producer – who has also worked with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Miles Kane, Mark Ronson and Tina Turner to name a few – helped Robbie achieve International success with his first five solo albums all topping the chart.
The pair reunited in 2013 for the covers record ‘Swings Both Ways’, which became the ‘Rock DJ’ hitmaker’s 11th number one.
As well as working on the musical and his recently released solo album, Guy has also been in the studio with Robbie again recording songs for his next album, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘The Heavy Entertainment Show’.
The Ivor Novello-winner recently shared how Robbie’s approach to creating new music is often quite spontaneous, and he has to make sure he’s always recording just in case the singer does something “really very strong”.
He said: “[Robbie] gets quite a buzz from a track already in progress. He likes a certain amount of music to … So what we tend to do when he walks through the room is we immediately give him a mic, a handheld mic, and he immediately starts singing, if he likes the track. We record everything he does, because sometimes his first thoughts are really very strong, and I’m sort of playing along at the same time trying to interact with him.
“I like jamming with people when I’m writing. I like playing at the same time, I like getting involved, and not just watching it. I like … I suppose directing it in a way, and that’s what it’s like with Rob.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sheryl Crow has released ‘Live Wire’ featuring blues legends Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples.
Following the re-release of her duet with the late Johnny Cash on ‘Redemption Day’ for her upcoming collaborations album ‘Threads’, the country pop superstar has dropped the new track with her ultimate idols.
She gushed: “Mavis Staples means so much more to me than any words I could write about her.
“I feel like, in many ways, she is the Godmother to Bonnie Raitt.
“To say that having both of these soulful women on ‘Live Wire’ is a treat would be a huge understatement.”
‘Threads’, which is released on August 30, is Crow’s ode to the artists who came before her and inspired her career.
She said: “This is where my story begins; in the imagination of a young girl from Missouri who began to feel a part of a beautiful and inspiring universe of art, created by musicians who made me want to leave my small town and embark on something bigger than anything I could possibly imagine.
“As I became a mother, I’ve explored life through my children and seen the greater impact of our actions and voices.
“This collection is the threads of both my inspirations and younger artists carrying the torch for humanity with their stories.”
The nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist originally released ‘Redemption Day’ with Cash on her self-titled 1996 album.
The track was penned after the ‘Soak Up The Sun’ hitmaker visited Bosnia with then-First Lady Hillary Clinton, where she spent time at the military bases, played for troops and met with families.
Speaking of the trip, she said previously: “I’d never been anywhere even close to a war-torn area. We had all these resources tied up in Bosnia, and I kept thinking about how and why do we choose where to get involved. Is it desire for control, greed for oil – what is it?”
In 2003, one of Cash’s sons-in-law played the track for the music icon, who then wanted to speak to her before getting involved in it himself.
She added: “He asked a lot of questions about different lines and what I meant. He didn’t want to put his voice to the song without being able to believe it heart and soul.”
Cash – who passed away in September 2003 – recorded the song and later released his own version on the posthumous album ‘American VI: Ain’t No Grave’, in 2010.
Crow performed the track on stage as a duet with a recording of Cash in 2014, which inspired her to approach his estate with the idea of re-recording a collaboration of their voices for her new project.
Alongside the new recording, the music video for the song – which couples footage of Cash next to scenes of a young child watching history unfold – was projected around iconic locations in central London last month.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Doherty has challenged Liam Gallagher to a boxing match – because he is annoyed that the former Oasis frontman stole his bass player.
The 40-year-old rocker is unhappy that Drew McConnell quit his band Babyshambles to join Liam’s backing band for his solo tour and he wants to sort out his differences with the ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker in the ring.
In an interview on ‘Phil Taggart’s Slacker Podcast’, Pete said: “Me and Liam should have a sponsored boxing match and the loser gets Drew. People would pay wouldn’t they, we could make a fortune for ourselves and for good causes.
“I’d have to find a sparring partner, but where am I going to find a Mancunian with size three feet to spar with? I’m six foot one-and-a-half, according to the last time I got arrested.”
And the ‘Can’t Stand Me Now’ singer also has another score he wants to settle with Liam, 46, as he’s still angry with the rock legend him for calling him a “big c**k” when on stage with Oasis at the V Festival in 2005 in response to Pete missing a support slot on the band’s ‘Don’t Believe The Truth Tour’.
The Libertines star added: “I do owe him one though, he needs a slap, because once at the V Festival there was a giant inflatable penis in the crowd and he went, ‘I’m glad to see Pete Doherty could make it.’ ”
Liam has never been a fan of Pete and the pair have a connected history as they both have children with singer/songwriter Lisa Moorish; Liam has 18-year-old daughter Molly and Pete has teenage son Astile.
Previously criticising Pete for his heroin addiction, Liam said: “What does the word Libertine mean? Freedom! He’s in the corner doing smack with a helmet on his head. There’s nothing free about that. It’s nasty.”
After first securing the services of Drew for his own band, Liam praised the bassist for being able to stay in Babyshambles with Pete.
He said: “Drew is f***ing talented. To keep the f***ing Babyshambles thing going he’s gotta be pretty headstrong, you know what I mean.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande is “beyond devastated” after pulling out of two concerts.
The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker has postponed shows in Tampa and Orlando, Florida, which were due to take place on Tuesday (28.05.19) and Wednesday (29.05.19) after falling ill.
She revealed on her Instagram Story: “i woke up incredibly sick today, ran to my doctor here and have been told to postpone these shows tonight and tomorrow.
“i’m so beyond devastated.
“i will make this up to you, i promise. please forgive me. i love you and i will be back and better than ever as soon as possible. love you.(sic)”
And the 25-year-old singer reassured fans she would return to the cities later in the year to play the shows.
She added: “will keep you posted as soon as possible on exact dates but we will be returning in November and you will be able to use the tickets you’ve already purchased. thank you so much for your understanding.(sic)”
Promoters Live Nation later confirmed when the rescheduled shows will take place.
They wrote on Twitter: “The new show dates will be 11/24 in Tampa & 11/25 in Orlando. Ariana is sorry to disappoint her fans.”
Although it’s unclear what is wrong with the ‘7 Rings’ hitmaker, she’s planning to be back on stage later this week.
Live Nation also tweeted: “Miami shows are still happening.”
Ariana recently admitted she finds performing her music “hell”.
Responding to a fan who wrote “Music is your therapy and I love seeing it heal you”, she said in a now-deleted tweet: “Making it is healing. Performing it is like reliving it all over again and it is hell.”
Fans then rushed to social media to insist she didn’t need to continue with her worldwide ‘Sweetener’ tour, however, whilst she admitted she was “confused and tired”, she insisted she “won’t do that.” When asked by a fan if touring was good for her health, she replied: “I don’t think it is.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Lopez wants her upcoming tour to be a celebration.
The ‘On The Floor’ hitmaker turns 50 in July, and she wants her ‘It’s My Party’ live shows – which kick off with a date in Los Angeles on June 7 – to be an “intimate” way for her to mark the milestone birthday with her fans.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “There might be a cake. There might be several cakes. It’s going to be a concert tour, but my aim is to make it feel like an intimate party as well.
“We’re all celebrating together. We’re dancing, we’re singing, we’re having a good time. I want to create a different atmosphere than normal just watch me do my thing. I want it to be interactive.”
J-Lo is also in a celebratory mood after her man Alex Rodriguez proposed in March, and she is excited to bring everything together for the tour.
Describing the show as a “perfect storm”, she added: “This year’s a really big year for me. I was like, ‘We could all be together. We can have like, a special moment, and I can share that with my fans.’
“I’ve just been on this journey — my life has been about my work and my family, and to have all of that kind of converge on this big birthday of mine, I think was perfect. And I just feel like it’s gonna be a really, really special time.”
Meanwhile, J-Lo previously explained she wanted to just do a relatively short run to mark her 50th.
She said: “This summer I decided I wanted to do something big for my birthday, since it’s a big birthday.
“I’m going on a US tour, it’s called ‘It’s My Party’… “We’re only doing 25, 28 shows, something like that. It’s just a small amount of shows, but we’ll be out all through June and July.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX and Diplo’s re-worked version of Spice Girls hit ‘Wannabe’ will officially be released on Thursday (30.05.19).
The girl group – now made up of Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Mel C, after Victoria Beckham decided against joining their reunion – gave their blessing for one of their biggest tracks to be sampled on the song ‘Spicy’ to aid their comeback, but they fell victim to hackers who shared the song earlier this month.
Now, Charli has revealed the release date and shared that it was her idea to get Diplo and French producer Herve Pagez on board to help her “honour” the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmakers with her spin on their “iconic” 1996 chart smash.
Alongside a snap of herself posing by a pool in a golden bikini, the ‘Boom Clap’ singer wrote on Instagram and Twitter: “looked up to the pop gods & they said “Charli – you’re the chosen one: honor the spice girls’ return with a mind blowing version of one of their iconic smash hits” & I said “k no probs hun I got this” so I called @diplo & @hervepagez & SPICY was born. NEW SONG DROPS THURSDAY. (sic)”
The Spice Girls’ also added a wink face emoji to the comments on the post, confirming they have given their seal of approval.
Despite the leak, an insider recently teased that ‘Spicy’ is still going to be “huge” with an epic music video set to follow its release.
A source said: “This song has been years in the making. It’s really disappointing that it’s been leaked at the last minute.
“But people who have heard it seem to be loving it, which is promising ahead of its release.
“Charli sings the verses and the chorus has been mashed up and turned on its head for a really cool dance song.
“It’s got an incredible video, which will be out next week.
“Sadly the Spice Girls themselves aren’t in it, but it’s going to be huge.”
It’s not the first time the Spice Girls have suffered a song hack.
In 2016, Geri, Emma and Mel B reunited in the studio to pen ‘Song For Her’, but that was leaked too.
Speaking at the time, Emma said: “We wrote something and it got leaked and it got stolen which is not great, but we’ve had nice feedback.”
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty – who is nicknamed Baby Spice – previously hinted that she and her bandmates could start writing new material while they are on their reunion tour, which got underway in Dublin, Ireland, last week.
She said: “We haven’t started writing or ­anything like that and it would have to be organic.
“So we’ll have to see. After the tour maybe, or ­during the tour I think, especially with us girls. We’re always like, ‘What’s next?’ So it could happen. Who knows?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher appears to have confirmed his first single from his second solo album is called ‘Shockwave’ and teased the LP title as ‘Why Me? Why Not’.
The former Oasis star took to his social media accounts on Wednesday morning (29.05.19) to share the name of his follow-up to his 2017 debut solo LP ‘As You Were’ and he also vowed that ‘Shockwave’ is going to “blow” his fans’ “wig[s] off”.
The ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker re-posted his tweet, which read, ‘WHY ME? WHY NOT.”, on Instagram and added in the caption: “Album 2 LG x (sic)”
A fan on Twitter then told Liam: “Shockwave mate sounds like a class single (sic)”, to which the 46-year-old rocker replied: “It’s gonna blow your wig off.”
Speculation that the lead track is named ‘Shockwave’ has been circulating ever since a billboard appeared in the singer’s home city of Manchester, with the word featuring in a line from Liam about his favourite football team Man City making history at Wembley as the first team to win the domestic treble in the Premier League.
It reads: “Man City treble winners
“It’s coming round like a Shockwave
“Liam Gallagher.”
Fans have also suggested that the new song could be released on June 7, as a banner with the date is seen in another concert snap posted on Liam’s Instagram page on Tuesday (28.05.19).
The ‘Wonderwall’ singer is set to premiere his new documentary ‘As It Was’ the day before, with a special performance being broadcast in cinemas across the UK and Ireland live from the Alexandra Palace Theatre in London.
The movie has been directed by Charlie Lightening – who helmed Liam’s ‘Chinatown’ video and worked with his former group Beady Eye – and will focus on Liam’s journey from “boredom, booze and legal battles” to major solo star with the release of his debut solo LP and subsequent sold-out global concerts.
According the film’s official synopsis ‘As It Was’ “tells the honest and emotional story of how one of the most electrifying rock ‘n’ roll frontmen went from the dizzying heights of his champagne supernova years in Oasis to living on the edge, ostracised and lost in the musical wilderness of booze, notoriety and bitter legal battles. Starting again alone, stripped bare and with nowhere to hide, Liam risks everything to make the greatest comeback of all time.”
The director Charlie previously claimed that Liam’s second solo album will be his ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’ moment.
The filmmaker said the outspoken star’s upcoming release could have the same impact as Oasis’ sophomore record.
Previewing the singer’s new material, Charlie shared: “It’s a continuation of ‘As You Were’. If you look at ‘Definitely Maybe’ and ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’, one’s the more punkier one and one’s the bigger one, you know what I mean?
“That’s progression. It’s someone in the prime of it all. People aren’t gonna be disappointed with it. I think it’s gonna blow people away.”
Oasis split in August 2009 when Liam’s older brother and ex-bandmate Noel Gallagher quit the rock band following a backstage bust-up between the pair before a concert in Paris, France, which ended with the volatile frontman swinging a guitar at his sibling’s head after the songwriter had stamped on one of his instruments.
‘As It Was’ will be released on June 7 via Altitude Film Distribution.

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has claimed he’s sent his bitter sibling and former Oasis bandmate Noel Gallagher a copy of his new album for his birthday.
The Britpop group’s guitarist turns 52 today (29.05.19), and the ex-frontman – who has been at loggerheads with Noel ever since he quit Oasis in 2009 following a backstage bust-up with his younger brother in Paris, which ended with the rock ‘n’ roll frontman swinging a guitar “like an axe” at his big brother – has revealed he had his second solo LP, which he has just confirmed is titled ‘Why Me? Why Not’, posted to him in an apparent attempt to wind him up.
When a fan asked Liam on Twitter: “You gonna send Noel a birthday card”, he replied: “He’ll be getting a copy of my album in the post around midday it should arrive Happy birthday posh boy (sic)”
The 46-year-old rocker recently hit out at his estranged brother – branding his new single “the biggest pile of s**t ever”.
Liam savaged Noel’s latest song ‘Black Star Dancing’, insisting the dance track is so poor that even the ‘Wonderwall’ songwriter knows it doesn’t compare to his previous work.
When asked by a follower on Twitter if he was “digging the new tune?”, he brutally replied: “It’s the biggest pile of s**t ever and he knows it, you know it and his plastic fans know it.”
Another Twitter user asked him “still not talking then?”, prompting the matter-of-fact reply from the ‘For What It’s Worth’ hitmaker: “Nope.”
Noel is to follow up the release of ‘Black Star Dancing’ with an EP of the same name on June 14 and is to follow up that with two more EPs in 2019.
In April, Liam finished recording his second record, the follow-up to his hit album ‘As You Were’, and the first single ‘Shockwave’ is rumoured to be released on June 7.
Charlie Lightening’s documentary film ‘As It Was’ will also be released next week, which focuses on Liam launching a solo career in 2017, eight years after the demise of Oasis and will show him rebuilding his life through his passion for music.
