OHMYGOSSIP — Janet Jackson was planning on ending her Glastonbury set with ‘Together Again’ before she was plagued with “technical issues”.
The 53-year-old pop superstar still wowed her long-time fans with her epic show at the Worthy Farm festival on Saturday (29.06.19), playing an impressive 21 songs, including the hits ‘Control’ and ‘Escapade’ and a finale of ‘Rhythm Nation’, but she revealed she was forced to ditch the 1997 hit, which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks, because of the sound problems she encountered earlier on during her performance on The Pyramid stage.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column, the pop icon admitted: “There was sunshine but I don’t know if I brought it.
“It’s a shame because we had technical issues at the start so I couldn’t play my last song, ‘Together Again’!”
However, Janet said it didn’t put a dampener on her first Glasto experience, and she admitted she was overwhelmed by how big the world famous festival is.
She said: “It’s so big, I heard stories about it every year but had no idea and then we saw all the tents.”
Meanwhile, on July 24 through to August 17, Janet will continue her acclaimed Las Vegas residency.
The youngest child of The Jackson family returns to the Park Theater at Park MGM resort to complete her ‘Metamorphosis’ shows.
The production sees Janet peel back the layers of her immensely private life, sharing her transformation from a young girl with issues of self-esteem to global Icon.
The centrepiece of the thought-provoking show is Janet herself, captivating audiences through their senses with electrifying visuals, explosive dance numbers, chart-topping hits and fan-favourite deep cuts.
Fans will follow her path to self-love, empowerment, motherhood and activism, amidst the challenges faced along her personal journey.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi says his Noel Gallagher dig was just “a good laugh”.
The ‘Someone You Loved’ hitmaker jokingly trolled the former Oasis star as he took to The Other stage at Glastonbury on Saturday (29.06.19) in a green parka and matching bucket hat, the britpop group’s trademark outfits in the 90s, as a clip of Noel saying “Who’s this Capaldi fella?” played on repeat on the screens around the stage.
Taking off the parka, Lewis then revealed he was wearing a t-shirt with Noel’s face on, surrounded by a heart.
Noel’s daughter Anais Gallagher, 19, even took to Twitter to applaud Lewis after he mocked her dad.
She wrote: “I want to be @LewisCapaldi when I grow up.”
Whilst Noel’s rival sibling and former bandmate Liam Gallagher, 46, even got a selfie with Lewis at Glastonbury after he said “I do now” when asked if he’s a fan of the chart-topping singer/songwriter.
The beef started after Noel called him an “idiot” and mocked the popularity of his debut LP ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’.
But the ‘Grace’ singer has admitted it was all for banter and that once he ditched the comedy act and realised he was amidst a career-defining set, it all got “a bit nervy”.
He told The Guardian newspaper: “It was all a good laugh, then I realised: ‘I’ve got a gig to play here’ … I wasn’t prepared for that many people. The first half-minute was a bit nervy.”
And the Scottish star confessed he “got a bit teary” at the end of his set.
He said: “I wish I had more words. It was so, so mad. It was the first time I almost cried on stage – I got a bit teary towards the end there.”
The beef started after Noel said in an interview with Radio X: “Music is f**king w**k at the moment. Who’s this Capaldi fella? Who the f**k’s that idiot?”
Taking to his Instagram Stories to respond, Lewis posted a video in which he joked that becoming the latest in a long line of musicians to be “slagged off” by Noel was better than having a number one album or number one single.
He said: “F***ing c’mon! F***ing peaked – slagged off by Noel Gallagher! Number 1 single – who gives a f**k? Number 1 album – who gives a f**k? Noel Gallagher has just slagged me off. This is dreams coming true. It’s Father’s Day and I’m being slagged off by a man who’s old enough to be my dad, and I’ve never been more happy.”
After wishing Noel a happy Father’s Day, the 22-year-old singer filmed himself listening to Oasis’ 2002 single ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’.
And rather than let the war of words die, Noel responded to his jibes by posting a video of his 11-year-old son Donovan pretending to cry whilst singing ‘Someone You Loved’ on his Twitter account.
He captioned the clip: “You might wanna try and find some joy in your tunes. You’re destroying the youth.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Knopfler was thrilled to duet with his guitar idol Hank Marvin.
The Dire Straits star grew up dreaming of being the lead guitarist in Sir Cliff Richards’ backing band The Shadows – who has inspired the likes of Queen’s Brian May, Eric Clapton, Neil Young and Jimmy Page with his unique guitar-playing – and insisted on having his own red Fender Stratocaster just like Marvin’s as a kid.
And now he has finally realised his childhood aspiration, by featuring on a re-reccording of ‘Wonderful Land’ by The Shadows, a number one in 1962, and 1961’s ‘Nivram’ for Marvin’s 3CD greatest hits LP ‘Gold’.
Knopfler said: “When I was a kid all I wanted was a red electric guitar.
“It had to be red because of Hank and his magical sound.”
Cliff and The Shadows achieved a total of 43 Top 20 hit singles in a decade, and instrumentalists The Shadows achieved five number ones of their own, most famously ‘Apache’, which showcased the distinctive sound Marvin achieved using the tremolo arm of his Stratocaster.
As well as duets with Cliff, Brian May and Duane Eddy on ‘Gold’, Marvin has re-released his impressive solo back catalogue.
Knopfler and Marvin both have in common success as solo artists and in their respective groups.
In November, the former released his ninth solo studio album, ‘Down The Road Wherever’.
The ‘Romeo and Juliet’ hitmaker previously admitted it was the group’s difficult formative years which helped him to have such a successful career, as it made him realise what he wanted to achieve.
He explained: “I used to hitchhike then, climbing up into lorry cabs with bags and guitars. There was snow everywhere, and I got put off in the middle of the country somewhere – in the Midlands, I think – on a slip road off the motorway. I’m standing up there, and there;s nobody. I can see 360 degrees for miles all around, and there’s nothing moving, just the sun shining down on all this snow. And I remember getting a very clear idea of what I’d decided I was going to do with my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Overtones have unveiled their new band member Jay James.
The popular vocal harmony group have confirmed the exciting new addition to the lineup – which comes after Lockie Chapman left earlier this year to pursue other commitments – and they are sure the former Royal Navy serviceman will be perfect fit.
Darren Everest – who completes the lineup of the ‘September’ singers with Mike Crawshaw and Mark Franks – said: “We met Jay 9 years ago when we all performed on the charity record [‘Songs To Save A Life’] for The Samaritans, and our paths continuously crossed over the years.
“When we thought about a new member joining the band he was the first, and only, name that came to mind.
“Everything about Jay says ‘Overtone’. He has a classic style and is inspired by the same great artists as we all are. Jay has fitted in seamlessly and we can’t wait to push on and get to work.”
Jay – who has worked with the likes of John Legend and the Jonas Brothers in the past – is delighted to have joined the band ahead of their annual UK tour in December, and he described the experience as “absolute magic”.
He added: “I’ve known the boys and been a fan for many years now and it has always been clear what they were all about – making great, timeless music, putting on incredible shows and enjoying life!
“Over the years that has never changed. I’ve been blessed to support them on a number of occasions, and I’ve witnessed the joy they bring and felt the warmth of some of the best fans I’ve ever met.
“To now join the group is absolute magic and I cannot wait to stand beside Darren, Mike & Mark in creating some more brilliant nights & continuing to make people smile, sing and dance for many moons to come.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi and Bad Bunny have been confirmed for Apple Music’s ‘Up Next Live’ shows.
The company has announced details for its intimate series of after hours summer performances at stores across the world, which will see exciting artists playing in one city for, one night only.
The diverse roster of stars – all of whom have featured on the ‘Apple Music Up Next’ show or playlist – will see the likes of ‘Someone You Loved’ singer Lewis performing on July 31 in Paris, while hip hop star Bad Bunny will kick off the run on July 9 in Milan.
He said: “The impact [of being part of Up Next] can be seen in everything, in numbers, in plays, in shows.
“There are a lot of fans that, when I go out in the street in the US, people who do not speak Spanish, I think they will not know me and they stop me, they ask me for pictures and they sing my songs.
“It helped me very much to make myself known in a market different from mine, not only the USA, but in places where Spanish is not spoken or where perhaps Latin music does not dominate, exposing my music and giving people the opportunity to get to know what I do.”
Jessie Reyez is set for a show on July 19 in San Francisco, while King Princess will perform on July 25 in Brooklyn.
After Capaldi’s Parisian date, Daniel Caesar will continue to the run on August 9 in London, and Ashley McBryde’s gig will take place on August 16 in Chicago.
Rounding off the series of concerts will be Khalid, with a show set for the Apple store at Carnegie Library in Washington, D.C.

OHMYGOSSIP — Duran Duran will headline a concert to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing.
Simon Le Bon and co will perform in front of the spacecraft which landed the first two people on the Moon, late Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin at the Kennedy Space Center’s Rocket Garden in Florida on July 16 to mark the special milestone.
The new wave band’s keyboardist Nick Rhodes can remember watching the “surreal and awe inspiring” moment the landing took place on TV in 1969.
The 57-year-old musician recalled: “It was surreal and awe inspiring … science fiction unfolding before us.
“I tried to picture what it must be like for the astronauts who were up there, but it was all so utterly unimaginable. We’d simply never witnessed anything like it before. It felt like a new beginning.”
It’s only fitting that Duran Duran – completed by John Taylor and Roger Taylor – have landed the gig, as their 1981 debut single was titled ‘Planet Earth’.
All of the money made the ‘New Moon on Monday’ group’s Kennedy Center show will go towards Buzz’s Aldrin Family Foundation – which “strives to cultivate the next generation of space leaders, entrepreneurs and explorers who will extend human habitation beyond the Earth to the Moon and Mars.”
The concert won’t be short of special effects, with the art duo Studio Drift on board to choreograph a drone light show.
Whilst DJ Evalicious will open the anniversary performance.
Tickets are priced at $300.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy has apologised for claiming he was the “first black British artist to headline Glastonbury”.
The grime superstar topped the bill on the Pyramid Stage on Friday (28.06.19) and while he tweeted before his performance that he was “overwhelmed with emotions”, Skunk Anansie – led by frontwoman Skin – responded to correct his claim.
The band wrote on Instagram: “Sorry Stormzy but we beat you to it in 1999! 20 years ago! And while we’re on topic, I was the first black Woman too! @beyonce.
“Wishing you an awesome nite tho, Kill it! You’re amazing and we’re all very proud… Real question is why it took 20 years! (sic)”
Stormzy took to Twitter on Monday (01.07.19) to apologise and set the record straight, as he heaped praise on the ‘Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good)’ hitmakers.
He tweeted: “Skin from the band Skunk Anansie was actually the first black artist to headline glasto she done it with her band in 1999 no disrespect intended and MASSIVE salute to you – my apologies! (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘Big For Your Boots’ hitmaker paid tribute to his whole “#MERKY team” and his family as he reflected on his historical set at the annual music event, where he did become the first British rapper to headline the festival.
In a lengthy Instagram post, he wrote: “To the whole of my #MERKY team – my family who hold me down and have my back till the end. THANK YOU GUYS, THANK YOU GOD. I am proud of myself and I feel blessed and fulfilled and purposeful. Your Glastonbury 2019 headliner, over and out. (sic)”
Stormzy also individually thanked those who had made appearances alongside him including Chris Martin, Dave and Fredo and Raleigh Ritchie.
He shared: “I got to sing with the most incredible and legendary man I know – Chris Martin – a man who’s genius I am so in awe of that it makes me go to studio and try to emulate him. Raleigh Ritchie – one of our country’s greatest musical talents thank you my brother. Dave & Fredo – I love you my brothers, UK’s finest rappers, thank you from my heart for helping me light up the stage and making one of the most beautiful moments our culture has seen.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert Plant treated fans to the first live performance of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Immigrant Song’ in 23 years.
The iconic rock group’s frontman played a rendition of the 1970 track from their third studio album at Secret Solstice festival in Reykjavik, Iceland, the place that inspired the lyrics.
After the performance, Plant said: “Thank you culture, way back, for the inspiration.”
The ‘Stairway to Heaven’ hitmaker last performed the number in February 1996, on tour with his bandmate Jimmy Page.
‘Immigrant Song’ was inspired by their show in Reykjavik, which got cancelled due to strikes and saw students offer them their university concert hall to perform at instead, and the 70-year-old musician says the track was “intended to be incredibly different”.
He explained previously: “We were invited to play a concert in Reykjavik and the day before we arrived all the civil servants went on strike and the gig was going to be cancelled.
“The university prepared a concert hall for us and it was phenomenal.
“The response from the kids was remarkable and we had a great time.
“‘Immigrant Song’ was about that trip and it was the opening track on the album that was intended to be incredibly different.”
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that a new documentary on Led Zeppelin is in the works.
The as-yet-untitled project is in post production, and traces the journeys of the four members – Plant, Page, John Paul Jones, and the late John Bonham – through the music scene of the 1960s, their meeting in the summer of 1968 for a rehearsal that will change the future of rock, and culminates in 1970 when their second album knocks The Beatles off the top of the charts.
The film has been directed by Bernard MacMahon – who helmed the 2017 music documentary ‘American Epic’ – and celebrates the ‘Stairway to Heaven’ hitmakers on their 50th anniversary.
Page said: “When I saw everything Bernard had done both visually and sonically on the remarkable achievement that is ‘American Epic’, I knew he would be qualified to tell our story.”
Whilst Plant added: “Seeing Will Shade, and so many other important early American musicians, brought to life on the big screen in ‘American Epic’ inspired me to contribute to a very interesting and exciting story.”
And Jones said: “The time was right for us to tell our own story for the first time in our own words, and I think that this film will really bring that story to life.”
The documentary features brand new interviews of the three surviving members, as well as, rare archival interviews with the late Bonham, and never-before-seen archive film and photographs.
The film will be the first Led Zeppelin story told through the words of the members themselves, and is the first and only time the band have participated in a documentary in their 50-year career.
As of the time of writing, the film is yet to have a firm release date.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi, Mark Ronson and Elbow have been named as “album champions” for National Album Day (12.10.19).
The ‘Someone You Loved’ hitmaker, ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ producer and Guy Garvey and co join rising star Mahalia in supporting the special day to celebrate the format.
As part of the celebrations, the “#Don’tSkip” campaign is being launched to encourage music fans to listen to full-length releases in their entirety.
Scottish superstar Lewis, 22 – who released his debut studio album ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’ in May – said: “Absolutely buzzing to be part of National Album Day! Unreal to have finally released my debut album this year & find out that not everyone hates it!
“On the whole I’m very proud of it, although I won’t lie there’s probably a few stinkers on there, but I’m only human. Hope you don’t hate it but if you do don’t worry, it’s only my life’s work.”
Mark – who has worked on hit records including Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back to Black’ and Lily Allen’s ‘Alright, Still’ – says albums continue to bring him “pure joy” and are like therapy when you are “feeling down”.
He said: “The other day I was feeling down, wandering through Brooklyn with no direction home, and I happened across the WFMU record fair.
“I spent A LOT of my 20’s in record fairs, but hadn’t been to one in a while.
“Instantly the sight of all the records, mostly in bins, some tacked onto make-shift cardboard dividers, lifted my entire mood.
“The infinite possibility of stumbling across some random 60’s psych record or a rare soul record I had never heard of felt so invigorating.
“All the dealers with their crazy, wildly nerdy knowledge.
“This community of people who existed around this one thing – the album. I was so happy to be a part of that.
“To care so much about one thing.
“The album has brought me pure joy since I was old enough to remember. I don’t think it will ever stop doing that.”
Whilst ‘One Day Like This’ hitmakers Elbow are confident that the format is still very much alive, despite the suggested “threat” of streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
They said: “To suggest the album is under threat because of playlists is to suggest that movies will disappear on account of television, they are two completely different things.”
BBC Sounds are the official broadcast partner for National Album Day and in the run up to October 12, there will be a number of events and activities held to celebrate the “love for the album and the craft that goes into making this culturally significant body of work”.
National Album Day kicked off last year, in the 70th year of the album, and the likes of Paloma Faith, Public Service Broadcasting, Jess Glynne, Novelist, Alice Cooper, and Tom Odell showed their support.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John has heaped praise on “very special” Billie Eilish.
The 72-year-old music legend has been a huge champion of the 17-year-old pop phenomenon and her debut LP ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ and admitted “talent like hers doesn’t come along very often”.
In an interview for Complex’s Pigeon and Planes, he gushed: “Her album was amazing.
“She’s come a long way very quickly. She’s an incredible word-of-mouth artist. I can’t wait to see her live because she has something very special going on. Talent like hers doesn’t come along very often.”
The ‘Your Song’ hitmaker also revealed he’s a huge fan of UK rappers Loyle Carner, Dave and MoStack and went on to applaud hip-hop for shaking up the establishment.
He said: “We’ve seen time and time again that reluctance from the establishment to embrace the new when something fresh comes along and threatens the status quo.
“And that’s what hip-hop did.
“It took the power and the control out of the hands of the old guard and gave it to kids on the street.
“It completely tore up the rule book, and thank God it did. It was so thrilling.
“That’s what new music should do, shake things up and confuse or scare the regime.”
Elton also admitted it was a “fabulous compliment’ when rapper Young Thug sampled ‘Rocketman’ on his 2018 single ‘High’.
On meeting the US star, who also appeared on his Apple Beats 1 ‘Rocket Hour’ show, he said: “I love that song ‘Memo’ and I love him.
“He sampled ‘Rocketman’ on his track ‘High,’ which I thought was a fabulous compliment.
“I met him in Atlanta because he heard we had played one of his tracks on the ‘Rocket Hour’.”
The ‘Candle in the Wind’ singer admitted he didn’t know what to call the 27-year-old star, but that he felt “full of energy” after their chat.
“It was a really nice meeting but I didn’t know what to call him, Thug? Mr Thug? Sir Thug?
“I could see the headline in the paper: Queen meets Thug. But anyway, it was a really nice meeting and I loved him.
“I left feeling full of energy as I do when I meet great new artists.
“He’s a really talented guy. I’d love to hear him sing more, and I said this to him when we met. He’s got a great voice.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy’s Glastonbury stab-proof vest was designed by Banksy.
The illusive artist has revealed he crafted the custom outfit for the ‘Big For Your Boots’ hitmaker’s iconic set at the Somerset music festival on Friday night (28.06.19).
Banksy shared on Instagram: “I made a customised stab-proof vest and thought – who could possibly wear this? Stormzy at Glastonbury.”
And the 25-year-old rapper told the artist he’d “never know what this meant to him”.
He added: “You’ll never know what this means to me. I feel like I am dreaming this is all a dream. Honoured, grateful, thank you, I don’t have any words for this. Tears of joy (sic)”
Stormzy also took to his own Instagram account to thank Banksy for his work.
He wrote: “Last night I headlined Glastonbury in a stab-proof vest custom made by the greatest, most iconic living artist on planet earth, the one and only BANKSY. (sic)”
Stormzy had previously branded his headline set as the “greatest night of his entire life” as he took to the famous Pyramid Stage, becoming the first British rapper to headline.
Addressing the crowd, he told them: “Glastonbury 2019, what we saying tonight? This is the greatest night of my entire life. Who’s got energy today?”
Stormzy opened his set with ‘Know Me From’, before segueing into ‘First Things First’ and ‘One Take Freestyle’.
The rapper also took the time to thank some of his own heroes and also praise all the new talent in the grime industry that was coming up alongside him including Krept & Konan, Yungen and Stefflon Don.
He said: “Glastonbury, this is the most iconic night of my life. I feel like the 25 years of my life has led up to this moment right here. There’s so many people that have inspired me – from Wiley, Skepta, Dizzee Rascal, Giggs, Ghetts, Tinie Tempah, Lethal Bizzle … [And] there’s so many legends, there’s so many of us coming through right now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jess Glynne has cancelled all her concerts until July 14 due to a vocal cord haemorrhage.
The ‘Thursday’ hitmaker – who had to pull out of her Isle of Wight festival show this month – revealed she has had to axe her gigs on the advice of her doctor.
In a lengthy statement on Twitter, she said: “It absolutely kills me to say this – especially given what has happened in the past few weeks – but on the advice of my vocal surgeon, I am going to have to cancel my next shows through until July 14th and I hope to be back as soon as possible after that.
“I know many of my fans feel I let them down so badly when I pulled out of the Isle of Wight festival but the reason I knew I just wasn’t going to be able to make that performance has now been made clear to [me] by my doctor, Dr Zeitels.”
Jess, 29, added that she has suffered with anxiety about her voice “for weeks”, and she has been told to “take a break” to make sure she can continue with her music career.
She continued: “It is true that I went out and celebrated the end of the Spice World tour. That was a massive high for me and I wanted to mark it with the women who’d become friends and mentors to me but I had also been suffering on and off for weeks with anxiety about my voice.
“It wasn’t right. I wasn’t sounded my best and I felt there was something wrong. Two days ago I came to Boston to see my surgeon who told me my vocal chord has haemorrhaged and that if I want to remain as a performer I needed to urgently take a break, rest my voice completely for the next 10 days and try and remain in total silence to give my vocal chords a chance to recover. (sic)”
Jess was told she has been “completely overdoing everything” with almost 100 shows over six months, and it has left her at “breaking point”.
She added: “If my voice goes, I go. I am so privileged to do what I do, I am so privileged to have fans out there who come and see me. But I never want to be less than 100 percent.
“I never want to give you less than 100 percent. I am so devastated to be letting anyone down but I want you to know the full truth of my situation so you understand why I have to do this.
“All I know is I have to go away, look after my voice and come back stronger, better and be the performer my fans truly deserve.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Eavis officially opened Glastonbury’s new ‘Glastonbury-on-Sea’ pier attraction on Thursday (27.06.19).
The Worthy Farm festival’s co-organiser – who curates the line-up with his daughter Emily Eavis – sported an ‘I love Glastonbury-on-Sea’ shirt as he launched the 60 metre structure designed by long-time Glastonbury creative partner, Joe Rush, who based the design on Llandudno pier in North Wales.
At Glasto in 2017, Joe built a “55 mutated cars drive-in cinema”, which Hollywood actor Johnny Depp inaugurated.
And the “Big fish eat little fish” sculpture on The Other Stage was also one of his designs.
Meanwhile, this year’s punters are the most eco-orientanted they have ever been, according to search engine Bing.com.
With the organisers calling on attendees to ditch plastics, the top searches for the music extravaganza have been for “single-use plastic” and “plastic bottles”.
And aside from the all important headline acts, there were also searches for “rubbish”, whilst the “weather” also ranked in the top five searches for Glastonbury 2019.
This year’s festival will be headlined by The Killers, The Cure and Stormzy, with the likes of Liam Gallagher – who made his solo debut at the festival on the Other Stage in 2017 – Miley Cyrus, Johnny Marr, Billie Eilish, George Ezra, Kylie Minogue and many more also performing this weekend.

OHMYGOSSIP — Brian Johnson and Joe Walsh have been teaming up in the studio.
The AC/DC singer and Eagles guitarist have joined forces for a mystery collaboration with a supergroup of sorts on the cards with the ‘Back In Black’ rocker and ‘Hotel California’ star pairing up on new music together.
Joe shared a cheery snap of the duo on Instagram, writing: “Great day making music today with my old pal Brian in London. We nailed it! Love ya man!”
Although it’s not yet known exactly what the two musicians were working on, they did make an impromptu song for Brian’s TV series ‘A Life On The Road’.
It’s been speculated they could record a full studio version of that track, and it was thought they were writing new material together.
However, Joe played down the possibility of an album, as he added in a comment: “To set the record straight – “THERE IS NO RECORD IN THE WORKS BETWEEN BRIAN AND I” We were simply having a bit of fun together, we are musicians afterall! (sic)”
Meanwhile, AC/DC are said to be close to finishing the follow up to 2014 album ‘Rock or Bust’ after Brian was spotted outside a Vancouver studio with drummer Phil Rudd, and guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, while bassist Cliff Williams could be rejoining the legendary group after he was snapped with the band in February.
The LP would mark Brian’s return to the group after leaving in 2016 due to a punctured left ear drum, which led to Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose stepping in for the ‘Rock or Bust’ world tour.
Meanwhile, Eagles kicked off their UK tour on Saturday (23.06.19) with a London show at Wembley Stadium.
The tour rolls on tonight (28.06.19) at the Birmingham Arena, with remaining dates at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on June 30, the First Direct Arena in Leeds on July 2, and Glasgow’s SSE Hydro on July 4.

OHMYGOSSIP — Chaka Khan was “insulted” when Kanye West sampled one of her songs.
The 66-year-old singer gave permission for the rapper to use her 1985 track ‘Through the Fire’ on his breakthrough song ‘Through the Wire’ – which he recorded with his jaw wired shut following a car accident – after his story “got [her] heart” but she was less than impressed when she heard the finished single.
Appearing on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, host Andy Cohen asked Chaka: “How did the conversations go with Kanye when he used your song ‘Through the Fire’ on ‘Through the Wire?’ ”
She replied: “Very differently than the song turned out.”
Asked if that meant she was not happy with the song, she said: “No.
“He called me when he got out of the hospital. He said, ‘You were so instrumental in my healing process. I had to change the words a little bit to the song, but I had to eat through a wire, you know, and I was wired shut, through a straw.’
“It meant that much to me, and it really got my heart.”
When she heard the song for the first time, the ‘Ain’t Nobody’ hitmaker was furious when she heard the hook had been extremely sped up.
She said: “I was p**ed. I was a little insulted — not insulted, I thought it was stupid.”
The ‘I Feel For You’ singer went on to admit that if she’d known Kanye planned to change her vocals, she would have said “hell no” to him sampling her original song.
However, Chaka – who admitted she’s made money from ‘Through the Wire’ – has never told the ‘Stronger’ hitmaker how she felt.
She explained: “I mean, what can I say?”
