OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea “doesn’t give a f**k” if just 42 people buy her new album.
The Australian rapper is preparing to drop her second record ‘In My Defense’ – her first LP since her debut ‘The New Classic’ back in 2014 – on Friday (19.07.19), and she insisted she doesn’t intend to stop there with more new material on the horizon as she revealed plans for another release in 2020.
Asked by a fan if she’s excited for the album to be out in the world, she replied on Twitter: “Yes & I just want to say now, I don’t give a f**k if only 42 ppl buy it.
“All 42 of y’all getting another album next year. I’m not stoppingggg (sic)”
The artwork for the LP features the ‘Saviour’ hitmaker soaked in blood on the side of her car while wearing a glistening silver dress, whilst there is also blood splattered on the side of the car and a red light illuminating the scene.
Posting the picture of the artwork on Instagram, Iggy wrote: “In My Defense: July 19th Pre Order: June 28th (sic)”
Iggy spoke about the artwork’s inspiration on Twitter, where she said it was a “statement” about women in the public eye finding it hard to “defend themselves”.
In a series of tweets explaining the artwork, Iggy wrote: “It’s a statement about women not having the ability to defend themselves under public gaze, not rebirth.
“I guess I don’t feel women are really given a fair chance to be “heard out” so how could anyone survive that amount of judgement.
“I wore a “going out” dress and clutch because I wanted it to feel like I had been out somewhere and was clearly unprepared for a fight (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolly Parton has teased an ‘Old Town Road’ remix.
After Lil Nas X revealed he is a huge fan of the country music legend and is hoping to get her to record a version of his viral hit, Dolly took to Twitter to imply it could happen.
Lil Nas tweeted: “y’all think I can get Dolly Parton and Megan thee stallion on a old town road remix? (sic)”
Dolly replied by quoting Lil Nas’ tweet and adding a horse and unicorn emoji, along with tweeting a picture of a pink horse alongside a brown and a black one.
The delighted rapper then quoted Dolly’s tweet and wrote “YEE YEE GANG!’. He also added three horse emojis and a pink heart.
Lil Nas’ hit song featured Billy Ray Cyrus and was followed by a Diplo remix and just last week, Young Thug and Mason Ramsey added their vocals to the track.
Lil Nas, 20, has a direct connection to Dolly, 73, as she is godmother to Billy’s daughter Miley Cyrus.
‘Old Town Road’ topped the charts for 14 weeks in America and beat Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ to the title of the longest-running number one hip-hop tune in the country.
The song’s success led to the rapper join Miley and her dad on stage at Glastonbury for a performance of the track and he also recently jumped on stage with Cardi B at Wireless in London for a duet.
The song features a sample of the instrumental piece ’34 Ghosts IV’ by industrial rockers Nine Inch Nails, with the band members receiving songwriting and production credits, and the beat was bought for just $35 by Lil Nas.

OHMYGOSSIP — Emeli Sande changed her name after people kept confusing her and Adele.
The 32-year-old singer’s real name is Adele Emeli Sandé but she decided to use her middle name for her music career because of Adele, who won the Brit Awards Critics’ Choice award in 2007 and went on to huge success.
Emeli told Sky News: “Everyone kept ringing me saying, ‘Hey, congratulations on your Brit award’. This was when I was studying in Scotland.
“I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ And they were like, ‘Yeah, I just saw you won the Brit’. ‘I was like, no’.
“The one person I happen to meet called Adele my entire life, apart from one girl in school… She just blew up and I thought this would just be a double battle for me to fight… I think I’m happy I went with Emeli.”
And Emeli is ultimately happy with the change of moniker as it was the name of her grandmother.
She said: “She’s Emeli Sande the first, I’m Emeli Sande the second. And it reminds me of living out her legacy, and a lot of things she wasn’t able to do in Zambia; I have so many more opportunities to do here.
“Now knowing that she was so musical, I feel like that kind of spirit of music’s come from Zambia now through me, and then Emeli Sande the second gets to sing to the world.”
Emeli also spoke about her love of writing for other artists and her joy when Rihanna chose to record one of her songs.
She said: “The song that got on her album was called ‘Half Of It’, a song I wrote with Naughty Boy one night.
“She said she heard it randomly and it reminded of her situation in her life.
“It just reminds you of this magical music thing that’s connecting us all in ways that we could never even imagine.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jermaine Dupri has denied he is sexist after Cardi B called him out.
The 46-year-old rapper recently slammed hip-hop for being filled with “strippers rapping” but Cardi, 26, took to Instagram and blasted him and others for not supporting female rappers.
She said: “There’s a lot of female rappers who be rapping they ass off and don’t be talking about their p***y and don’t be talking about getting down on dirty and y’all don’t be supporting them. So don’t blame that s**t on us, when y’all not the ones supporting them.”
Now, after receiving a massive backlash to his comments, Jermaine is trying to defend himself.
He told TMZ: “The one thing I want to make sure I’m clear on, is people keep saying, sexist – I’m far from a sexist. Let’s not do that, let’s not do that, that’s terrible.
“It’s something that’s been brewing before I was even asked the question. When I saw what Cardi said, Cardi started off her message off by basically saying, ‘Now that Jermaine Dupri has said it, I’m going to address it’ – that means to me somebody else had already said it to her – or she’s heard it before.”
Jermaine also insisted he “never dissed anybody” and was just responding when asked about three particular rappers, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj and Meghan Thee Stallion.
He said: “There’s a million artists rapping, there’s a million female rappers that’s out here rapping. What my statement was, was about the three [artists] that she asked me about – it wasn’t about a general conversation about female rap, but everybody turned it into that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Raye has penned a song on Beyonce’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album.
The 21-year-old British star has revealed the 37-year-old R&B superstar told her herself that her track ‘Bigger’ is the first song on her multi-artist record inspired by the Disney movie remake – and she couldn’t contain her excitement.
The ‘You Don’t Know Me’ hitmaker tweeted: “Beyonce told me I’ve written Track 1 on the new album called Bigger. I can’t I can’t (sic)”
The star-studded track-list also features Beyonce’s rapper husband Jay Z and their seven-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
‘Empire State of Mind’ hitmaker Jay features alongside Childish Gambino and his wife on ‘Mood 4 Eva’ and Blue is on ‘Brown Skin Girl’ with SAINt JHN and WizKid.
Kendrick Lamar is on ‘The Nile’ and Pharrell and Salatiel recorded ‘Water’ with Beyonce.
The ‘Crazy in Love’ hitmaker has already released the lead single ‘Spirit’, which features in the film, in which she voices Nala, ahead of ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ dropping on July 19.
Speaking about the album, which she has also produced, Beyonce said in a statement: “This is sonic cinema. This is a new experience of storytelling.
“I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film.
“It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound.
“It is influenced by everything from R&B, hip-hop and Afro Beat.
“I wanted to put everyone on their own journey to link the storyline.
“Each song was written to reflect the film’s storytelling that gives the listener a chance to imagine their own imagery, while listening to a new contemporary interpretation.
“It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers. Authenticity and heart were important to me.”
Beyonce also has a song on Disney’s original soundtrack for ‘The Lion King’, which is released on July 11 and features a version of Sir Elton John’s ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ by the ‘Halo’ hitmaker and Donald Glover, who voices Nala’s love interest Simba in the film.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jack White gets advice from Bob Dylan “all the time”.
The 44-year-old musician – who is known for being a member of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and for being a solo artist – is close friends with the fellow music legend, and has said Dylan is an “incredible mentor” to him, as he’s constantly giving him musical advice.
Asked whether Dylan ever gives him tips, White said: “All the time. He’s been an incredible mentor to me, and a good friend, too. I’m lucky to even have one conversation with him. Everything else has been icing on the cake.”
The ‘Seven Nation Army’ hitmaker then went on to describe Dylan, 78, as “complicated”, because he’s going through experiences that “no human being should ever go through” thanks to his fame.
White added: “He’s very complicated. A lot of people who go through fame, even a small taste of it, are going through experiences that probably no human being should ever go through.
“I’ve walked into a room and felt like I’m intimidating people. You don’t know what you’re supposed to do. I think people like Dylan end up trying to avoid that stuff.”
Despite their close friendship, White wouldn’t comment on whether the pair have penned a track together, or if they’d team up in the future.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, he said: “I cannot tell you that. I wish I could tell you, but I cannot.”
Meanwhile, White previously admitted that despite getting to be the centre of attention as the frontman in several different bands, he enjoys playing with The Dead Weather the most, as he gets to play the drums.
He said: “I’m the drummer in [The Dead Weather] so it’s a totally different role for me. I get to be made fun of. Spat on.
“I gotta say, out of everything that I do, I probably enjoy playing drums the most of anything, recording or playing, because I grew up thinking I was only going to be a drummer so that’s all I did my whole childhood and was all I cared about.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Skinner has revealed The Streets are working on two albums.
The 40-year-old frontman says fans can expect a “duets album” from the ‘Dry Your Eyes’ hitmakers “hopefully by the end of summer” and the soundtrack for a film about a DJ, which Mike worked on last year, which won’t be released until 2020.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “One of the reasons that I started it again is because I’ve written a film, which is about a DJ.
“And the album that I’ve written is kind of a musical; it’s part of the film.
“While that’s happening, I’m doing a mixtape, which is a collaborations album – and that will be out hopefully at the end of the summer.
“That’s kind of like a Streets duet album.”
On when fans can expect the soundtrack to be released, he said: “I did that about a year ago – but we have to follow the fine line of the film.
“We’re gonna be shooting that in October and that will be out at the end of next summer.”
The new record will be the first from The Streets since 2011’s ‘Computers and Blues’.
The British rap group went on hiatus after touring that record – their fifth studio LP – but reunited last year for ‘The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light Tour’ and ahead of those shows they unveiled fresh song ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ in the March.
Skinner’s film is inspired by US teen TV series ‘Dawson’s Creek’ – which began in 1998 and starred Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek – and is a “farce” which centres around boys and girls getting into trouble in a club.
Speaking previously about his project, he said: “It’s a farce about guys and girls getting into trouble in a club. The story isn’t clever, it’s all in the dialogue, and that’s what I love. What was that teen show where everyone’s a philosopher? ‘Dawson’s Creek’ – it’s a bit like that.”
The ‘Fit But You Know It’ hitmaker also revealed he is hoping to bring a “cleverness” to his writing.
He said: “I like [my characters] to say the things that they thought of when they’re walking home from a terrible argument, and thinking, ‘Oh, I should’ve said that.’
“Not political correctness, just cleverness. Because stories aren’t reality, they’re an exercise for the mind.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chance the Rapper will release his debut album ‘The Big Day’ next week.
The Chicago native confirmed the release date of July 26 for his much-anticipated first studio effort, which features the previously released single ‘GRoCERIES’, during his appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Tuesday (16.07.19).
The record is inspired by Chance’s wedding to wife Kirsten Corley – with whom he has three-year-old daughter Kensli – which was attended by the likes of Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West and comedian Dave Chappelle.
He explained previously: “The whole album has been inspired by the day that I got married and how I was dancing that day.
“[…] It was the hardest I ever danced in my life and I’m a great longtime dancer.
“Everything in it is all the different styles of music that make me want to dance and remind me of that day and remind me of that night and all those people that were there.
“I’ve been waiting to make an album for a long time. So, the process has been just me being back in the studio all the time.
“Just making two songs a day. And trying to have fun.
“But at the same time, I understand that it’s going to be more. More songs. More flexes. More dancing. Just more.”
The album follows his acclaimed 2016 mixtape ‘Coloring Book’.
The ‘Blessings’ hitmaker’s wife is currently expecting the couple’s second child, and he thanked her for giving him all the support whilst making the album whilst she is pregnant.
He wrote on Instagram in April: “I’ve been really happy the past few weeks. My wife gave me the go ahead to put everything else on hold and really go to work on my debut album. Its been a lil hard at times, I obviously miss Chicago and family and working on other stuff, but there truly is no joy like making a project.
“Somehow I always forget that i’m so, so good at this. And every night i surprise myself again. (sic)”
Chance admitted releasing the record will be “bittersweet” because he enjoys recording so much but he urged his fans to “thank” Kristen for letting him focus on the LP while coping with her pregnancy and their daughter with “so much grace”.
He added: “July is gonna be bittersweet because as much as i can’t wait to be done, the process is the best part!
“Yall should thank Kirsten cause she dont gotta share me wit NOBODY. But she knows what i do and is handling this pregnancy and our family with so much grace. Babe I have to appreciate u supporting me all these years and I swear i can’t wait to get juked on to these new songs. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Nash calls for better support systems for musicians.
The 32-year-old singer was just 17 when she signed a record deal with Polydor, and scored a number one album with her debut record ‘Made of Bricks’ in 2007.
And now, she’s said her meteoric rise to fame at such a young age left her without a support system, as she slammed those around her at the time for not being “concerned about [her] health in any way”.
She said: “Artists often have mental health issues. And their lifestyles are unstable because of all the travelling and the media commentary on their lives. Now I’m like: ‘How were all these 40-year-old men hanging out with me and happy to profit from me and not concerned about my health in any way?'”
The ‘Foundations’ hitmaker added that although Hollywood has “problems” of its own, she believes actors are able to talk to someone if they have an issue, whereas the music industry doesn’t have that security.
Speaking to The Guardian newspaper, she said: “As many problems as there are with Hollywood, I feel so much more protected because if there’s a serious issue, I have someone I can talk to.
“Where’s that in the music industry? We need it. Because our lifestyles are associated with partying, it hasn’t had to be professional. But you’re like: ‘Where’s HR?'”
Meanwhile, back in 2018, Kate slammed the music industry as “the most unprofessional business in the world”.
The ‘Trash’ singer said: “It’s a night-time lifestyle – people are fucked and doing drugs and drinking. Labels are buying drugs. Men in their 30s and 40s are buying drugs for 18-year-olds. That’s f***ed up. I haven’t personally experienced anybody like that. I haven’t had a #MeToo moment of people in the music industry. I’ve had inappropriate s**t, though. I’ve had unprofessionalism. I’ve had them treat me like s**t, like a piece of meat, and not care about me really at all.”

Despite admitting there would be no more versions released, the 20-year-old star has admitted he would love to get the 73-year-old country music legend and the 24-year-old rising US star on the song.

Lil Nas joked he thought he “made it obvious” after sharing new single ‘C7osure’ on Twitter alongside a rainbow emoji.
The musician – whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill – opened up about his sexuality and admitted some people may “already know”, while other might not care.
He tweeted: “Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care, some of y’all not gone fwm no more. but before this month ends i want y’all to listen closely to c7osure. (sic)”
He later shared the artwork for his debut EP ‘7’ – which was released in April – and focused on the rainbow skyscrapers, adding: “Deadass thought i made it obvious (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Duran Duran’s concert to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing will feature “300 swarming drones”.
Simon Le Bon and co will perform in front of the spacecraft which landed the first two people on the Moon, late Commander Neil Armstrong and lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin, at the Kennedy Space Center’s Rocket Garden in Florida tonight (16.07.19) to mark the special milestone.
The new wave band’s keyboardist Nick Rhodes has revealed they had to seek special permission from NASA to use the unmanned aircrafts in such close proximity to their airspace.
Nick told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “At the start of the show, 300 drones will rise up and move around in swarms.
“It’s one of he most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
“We had to go through all sorts of bureaucracy for this concert.
“NASA don’t normally allow anything to fly over their airspace, let alone 300 swarming drones!”
It’s only fitting that Duran Duran – completed by John Taylor and Roger Taylor – have landed the gig, as their 1981 debut single was titled ‘Planet Earth’.
The set will feature that and ‘New Moon on Monday’ , plus a cover of The Police’s ‘Walking On The Moon’.
The group’s Kennedy Center show will go towards Buzz’s Aldrin Family Foundation – which “strives to cultivate the next generation of space leaders, entrepreneurs and explorers who will extend human habitation beyond the Earth to the Moon and Mars.”
The concert won’t be short of special effects, with the art duo Studio Drift on board to choreograph the drone light show.
Whilst DJ Evalicious will open the anniversary performance.
Tickets are priced at an eye-watering $300.
Meanwhile, the band are working on their first album since 2015’s ‘Paper Gods’, which they hope to release by spring 2020.
The ‘Girls on Film’ hitmakers have tapped Mark Ronson to produce and Lykke Li and Blur’s Graham Coxon will also be featured.
Nick said: “Rather than copy our previous styles, we say, ‘What would we do if we were a new band today?’
“Of course there will be some similarities – Simon’s voice is very identifiable and we like to have one foot on the dancefloor with some songs.
“We hope to have a new single out early next year and late spring is realistic for the album.”

OHMYGOSSIP — TLC have been forced to cancel shows in North America as Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas has been put on vocal rest.
The ‘No Scrubs’ hitmakers had to axe their planned performance in Sacramento on Sunday (14.07.19), and the singer later updated fans to let them know she was still poorly and as a result they won’t be able to play their show at Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock, California on Tuesday (16.07.19).
Chilli tweeted: “It breaks my heart to tell our fans that we have to cancel our performance tonight at Sacramento because I lost my voice and my dr has me on strict voice rest.
“We want the fans at Sacramento to know we love them and thank them for their support. (sic)”
And on Monday (15.07.19), she added: “STILL on voice rest getting better but not at a 100% just yet. Sadly we will miss seeing the fans in Turlock. Thank u so much for ur prayers n well wishes. I’ll be back on stage soon. (sic)”
The 48-year-old star’s bandmate Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins had also taken to the micro-blogging to comment on the cancellation and promised to make it up to their fans.
She wrote: “Yes it breaks my heart too…
“And #Sacramento We’ll Come There Again I’m sure at some point… We love you all and thank u for all your support…but we need her to heal (sic)”
On July 23, the band are due to hit the road with Flo Rida and Nelly, kicking off at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Meanwhile, the remaining members of the 90s girl group – who tragically lost third member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes to a car crash in 2002 – recently revealed their plans to turn their music and career into stage shows, featuring brand new music.
Chilli said: “We’re also working on the TLC musical and TLC on Broadway.
“We’re going to create new music for those projects as well.”
After releasing their crowdfunded self-titled LP in 2017, they admitted they had no desire to put out another full-length release because of how hard the record industry has become.
However, the pair vowed to keep on touring.
Speaking about going bankrupt despite selling 70 million records, Chilli said previously: “You are just out there working hard, not making anything, but they are making all the money. It was because of our contracts and when people aren’t advising you the proper way. After our first album there was no renegotiation when your contract is jacked up.
“That’s why we said, shall we do this just one more time? It is definitely not the end of TLC as far as touring but making an album is difficult. The business has changed a lot.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bob Dylan and Neil Young duetted for the first time in 25 years at Kilkenny, Ireland’s Nowlan Park on Sunday (14.07.19).
The music legends teamed up for their own interpretation of the traditional hymn ‘Will The Circle Be Unbroken’, which dates back to 1935.
The pair last performed together at New York’s Roseland Ballroom in 1994.
The ‘Desolation Row’ hitmaker and the former Crosby, Stills & Nash star both have a history with the song.
Dylan played the track on his tour of coffee shops in 1961, and six years later he record it for his 16th studio album ‘The Basement Tapes’ with The Band, which was released in 1975.
The 78-year-old musician hadn’t included the song in his set since May 1976, when he performed in Houston, Texas, on his ‘Rolling Thunder Review Tour’.
Young has performed the song four times since 1995 with Willie Nelson.
However, his first live performance of the hymn was in 1975 at the Kezar Stadium in San Francisco for a benefit show, where he was joined by Dylan for their first duet together.
The Kilkenny concert followed the pair’s sold-out show in Hyde Park last week.
The two stars came together for an historic night in London which saw them play a host of their classic tracks for the capacity crowd of 65,000.
First on stage was Young who joked that he had “never played in daylight before” in reference to the fact he had to go on before Dylan and the Canadian musician was in good spirits as he added “It’s great to see everybody”.
Backed by his band The Promise of the Real, which features Willie’s son Lukas, the rocker opened with ‘Mansion on the Hill, ‘Over and Over’ and ‘Country Home’ from his Crazy Horse period before playing ‘Alabama’ – which features on his acclaimed 1972 album ‘Harvest’ – to huge cheers from the crowd.
Those cheers only got louder when Young strapped on his acoustic guitar and harmonica for beloved classic ‘Heart of Gold’, also taken from ‘Harvest’.
Appreciating the crowd’s response to the song, he followed it up with ‘From Hank to Hendrix’ and then acknowledging his fans’ love of his folk material he said with smile whilst pointing to his guitar “Do you want another one on this one?”
The huge cheers gave way to a rendition of ‘Old Man’ which sparked the biggest singalong of his set.
Young – whose stage was adorned with a Love sign and a bird flying above the band with a peace sign as an eye – also delivered an impassioned version of ‘Rockin’ in the Free World’ showing his political passions still burn as brightly as ever.
He and the band returned for an encore of fan favourite ‘Like A Hurricane’ and ‘Piece of Crap’ – from his 1994 album ‘Sleeps with Angels’.
It was then Dylan’s turn to take to the stage and he walked out unannounced and sat down at his piano with a wide grin before opening with ‘Ballad of a Thin Man’ from his seminal 1965 album ‘Highway 61 Revisited’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi’s signed Chewbacca mask is being auctioned off to raise funds for Frightened Rabbit’s mental health charity.
Following the 22-year-old star’s performance at TRNSMT festival in Scotland at the weekend, where he walked on stage in the mask of the ‘Star Wars’ character as another dig at his rival Noel Gallagher, who had called him the Wookiee warrior, the prop has been put up for sale on eBay and, in just over 12 hours, it has reached more than £5,000 with six days still left to go.
The money raised will go to Tiny Changes, which was setup by the family of Frightened Rabbit’s late founding member Scott Hutchison – who tragically took his own life at the age of 36 in May last year – to improve mental health in children and young people.
In a statement, his family said: “The charity has at its heart a passion for changing how young people in Scotland are affected by mental health issues.
“We want to see a Scotland where young people are listened to when they talk about their mental health. Where young people can access the support they need, when they need it.
“A country where young people are feeling better, not worse.
“And where youth mental health issues do not prevent people from fulfilling their potential as adults.”
At TRNSMT, Lewis dedicated his rendition of Oasis hit ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ to his “dear, dear father” Noel and changed the title to ‘Don’t Chewbac In Anger’.
The band’s former guitarist had fumed in an interview: “F****** Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes. The greatest day of his life that I slagged him off or called him an idiot.
“It’s the greatest day of his f***** life so far.
“He’s just thinking, “Wow!” Well, I know you’re Scottish and all that, but f***** hell!
“It is like a third world country, but for f***’s sake, man, you must have had a better day than this. Surely!”
After the insult, Lewis instantly changed his Twitter username to Chewis Capaldi and updated his profile picture to him as Chewbacca.
Lewis also used his Glastonbury appearance last month to mock Noel.
He donned a green parka and matching bucket hat, the Britpop group’s trademark outfits in the 90s, as a clip of Noel saying “Who’s this Capaldi fella?” played on repeat on the screens around the stage.
Taking off the parka, Lewis then revealed he was wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with Noel’s face, surrounded by a heart and the whole stunt was in response to the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmaker’s dismissal of Lewis and his songs in a radio interview that happened before the Worthy Farm gig.
The beef with the ‘Hold Me While You Wait’ singer started after Noel said in an interview with Radio X: “Music is f**king w**k at the moment. Who’s this Capaldi fella? Who the f**k’s that idiot?”
Taking to his Instagram Stories to respond, Lewis posted a video in which he joked that becoming the latest in a long line of musicians to be “slagged off” by Noel was better than having a number one album or number one single.
He said: “F***ing c’mon! F***ing peaked – slagged off by Noel Gallagher! Number 1 single – who gives a f**k? Number 1 album – who gives a f**k? Noel Gallagher has just slagged me off. This is dreams coming true. It’s Father’s Day and I’m being slagged off by a man who’s old enough to be my dad, and I’ve never been more happy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi trolled Noel Gallagher once again as he wore a Chewbacca mask at TRNSMT Festival.
The star war between the ‘Someone You Loved’ hitmaker and the ex-Oasis guitarist is waging on after he channelled the ‘Star Wars’ Wookiee warrior during his performance at the Scottish festival over the weekend, after Noel compared him to Han Solo’s companion in the sci-fi franchise.

After wishing Noel a happy Father’s Day, he filmed himself listening to Oasis’ 2002 single ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’.
And rather than let the war of words die, Noel responded to his jibes by posting a video of his 11-year-old son Donovan pretending to cry whilst singing ‘Someone You Loved’ on his Twitter account.
He captioned the clip: “You might wanna try and find some joy in your tunes. You’re destroying the youth.”

OHMYGOSSIP — will.i.am has teased a collaboration with Cheryl Tweedy could be on the cards.
The Black Eyed Peas star famously managed the brunette beauty’s solo career until they went their separate ways in 2013 but, despite their professional split, they’ve always remained close friends.
The ‘Where is The Love? hitmaker and the former Girls Aloud star previously teamed up on ‘Heartbreaker’, which was released on Cheryl’s debut solo album ‘3 Words’ in 2009, and they could be set to hit the studio again.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column, will said: “We talked about it at a Post Malone concert.
“I would love to work with Cheryl again, she is awesome.”
Cheryl’s last single was ‘Let You’, released in May, which was co-written with her former bandmate Nicola Roberts.
will – who supported Robbie Williams with his band at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park on Sunday (14.07.19) – previously revealed he was keen to get Cheryl on ‘The Voice’ with him.
The pop producer has been a coach on the ITV singing show since it first hit television screens in 2010 and, although he’s willing to work with anyone who joins the programme, he admitted two years ago it would be “dope” if the 36-year-old star sat alongside him on the panel.
He said: “It would be dope to have Cheryl on ‘The Voice’. That would be cool. It would be pretty cool for us to work together.”
Cheryl initially joined ‘The X Factor’ as a judge in 2008 – during which time she mentored Alexandra Burke and Joe McElderry to victory – but she left in 2010, before returning four years later.
