OHMYGOSSIP — Cheryl is to collaborate with Wiley.
The ‘Fight For This Love’ hitmaker is heading back to the studio next week to team up with the 40-year-old grime star, but has told fans she is not making any “promises” about what material the pair might come up with because “sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t”.
She said: “I’m back in the studio next week, so I’m going to be doing some more writing,
“I’m going to go into the studio with Wiley.
“There’s no promises, I’m just going to go in for a few days. You never know what’s going to come out.
“Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. But there’s no pressure which is nice – I prefer to write that way.”
Cheryl is hoping to create some more big pop songs people can sing along to, and she wants to include plenty of dance steps.
She added to Gay Times Magazine: “Always upbeat with a big production. The more dance steps I can get in there, the happier I am – and the more people can sing along. I just want everybody to enjoy it at this point.”
Just last month, the 36-year-old singer admitted she had new music in the pipeline, sparking speculation she could be set to release her fifth studio album.
She said: “I’ve got material.
“I just want to see how the singles land and if people are enjoying the music and maybe do some intimate gigs and stuff first.”
And in June, Cheryl – who has two-year-old son Bear – claimed motherhood has made work more fun.
She said: “It’s actually more fun since I became a mother. You know you see me sometimes at work and I would be like, Dermot I can’t. I can’t go any longer. Now I’m like, ‘yeah let’s go…’
“First of all I had a break which I needed and that was important for my head space more than anything and it’s fun that I get to come into work and do the things I love for a career, but I also get to go home to the most precious part of my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher got his “swagger” from ‘Live Forever’.
Although the 52-year-old singer/songwriter is renowned for his self-belief, he admitted that until he wrote ‘Live Forever’, for Oasis’ 1994 album ‘Definitely Maybe’, he wasn’t that confident.
Noel explained: “I have to say I wasn’t that confident until I wrote ‘Live Forever’ – and then I was like ‘f**k these idiots. This is where I get the swagger now.”
Noel also revealed his main plan with ‘Definitely Maybe’ was to knock Phil Collins and Wet Wet Wet out of the charts.
He said: “I wanted to get in the charts and wreck it, stamp Phil Collins out, and Wet Wet Wet, they’ve got to go.”
The album went seven-times platinum in the UK but Noel believes its success was down to chance.
He explained: “It is an amazing thing that I tapped into something by accident. That album in particular is the one, it came from a place of truth.
“I wrote it when I was living in a one-bedroomed apartment that I was renting off the local council. I had one guitar, probably two plectrums…”
And the album kicked off a period of unrivalled creativity from songwriter Noel, who admits he is still surprised by the quality of songs he produced.
Speaking in an excerpt from Alex Niven’s new book ‘Oasis’ Definitely Maybe’, which appears in the Daily Mirror newspaper, Noel said: “Every song that I seemed to write for about two years was amazing. I was so clever at one point even I did not know what I was going about.”
“‘Supersonic’ was written in the studio one night. There was something happening around me as a songwriter and subsequently the timing of it was everything. If it happened five years later it would not have had the impact.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lana Del Rey doesn’t want Kanye West to respond to her mention of him in ‘The Greatest’.
The 34-year-old singer/songwriter appears to hit out at Kanye – whose wedding to Kim Kardashian West she performed at in 2014 – and his support for US President Donald Trump on the track from her new album ‘Norman F**king Rowell’.
Speaking about the lyric “Kanye West is blond and gone”, Lana told the New York Times: “Here’s the thing: I don’t want to elicit a response. You never feel better for having written something like that. But Kanye just means so much to us. And by the way, I’m grateful to be in a country where everyone can have their own political views. I’m really not more of a liberal than I am a Republican–I’m in the middle. But it was more like the mood and the vibe around, Yo, this man is the greatest! Really? The greatest? It hurt me. Did I have to say anything? No. But it’s more just a line that represents a lot of things.”
Lana also spoke about her love for Billie Eilish, and said pop-music has been waiting for a star like Billie to come along.
She explained: “I love Billie Eilish, and I feel like I’ve been waiting for this time in pop-music culture. I personally am very discerning. I can tell if a female pop singer, for instance, has a generosity of spirit or a playful fire in her heart. With Billie, she’s prodigious. I needed to hear one line of one melody and I just know.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Suggs wants a hologram of himself so he can continue to perform for as long as possible.
The Madness frontman revealed that when his body is no longer able for touring, he hopes to be able to still perform for the fans via hologram after seeing how impressive the Tupac Shakur one was.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “We saw the Tupac hologram and it was flipping amazing. I would like nothing more than for me and my mates to perform in my living room and then project that around the world.”
However, Suggs, 58, doesn’t believe he will need a hologram in the near future.
The star – whose real name is Graham McPherson – said: “We’ll keep performing as long as the knees hold up. There’s nothing I love more. As a band we are still mates, we still enjoy it.”
Madness have been performing for 40 years and Suggs recently admitted he can hardly believe the band has lasted this long.
He told BristolPost.co.uk: “It is amazing, that we’ve been able to do this for so long. It constantly surprises me – for me, I’m one of those people that the 80s only feel like ten years ago to me.
“It’s a privilege to still be doing this, we’ve done festivals all over Britain and still enjoying it, which is great.
“We spend more time arguing than anything else, but it’s healthy and we all still get on great and that’s the major important point about it.
“I’m name-dropping terribly here but Paul Weller was standing in my kitchen chatting about this very thing the other day, and of course, he famously dropped his band. He was saying how do we do it, how is it we’re all still together and still close?
“I said that democracy is a very difficult thing, and it’s hard but the fact is that for important decisions we all have to agree.
“Everything you see us do, we’re all on board with. If there’s something that we could do, if one person in the band doesn’t want to, the chances are we won’t do it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pusha T says collaborating with Lauryn Hill was “insane”.
The pair have teamed up for ‘Coming Home’ and Pusha, 42, could not believe it when Lauryn, 44, agreed to work with him.
Speaking to Beats 1’s Ebro Darden, he said: “I just made the request. She expressed that she likes my music, and she’d see about it. I definitely followed the queen around every- Whatever it took, and it was super important to me when she showed interest. It was just super important to me to definitely have her on it. Lauryn, her discography, it means everything. It’s insane, so this wasn’t about ever rushing or being on a time limit. It was just about getting the song done right and to both of our liking.”
Pusha also revealed that the song is about mass incarceration and he hopes it can help those who are locked up and their families who are waiting for them to come home.
He explained: “This record speaks to mass incarceration. It speaks to just giving hope to those who are coming home and telling people who are locked up and behind the wall that we waiting on them, and we going to be out here as a support system when they get home.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Legendary London jazz club Ronnie Scott’s is celebrating its 60th anniversary by magically going back in time.
The world famous Soho club – which has hosted performances by all the superstars of jazz in its time such as Johnny Griffin, Roland Kirk, Al Cohn and Stan Getz – is putting on two weeks of shows in a pop-up club which recreates its first tiny basement club in all its bohemian glory.
The pop-up club – which will be temporarily located in another legendary Soho basement den Gerry’s – even features the original drinks and food menus from the club, where you could buy a steak for just £1.
Other memorabilia – including original photos, posters, neon signs and furniture – makes patrons feel as they are grooving in a fifties time warp.
The opening night featured a musical explosion of British classics that would have been played 60 years ago on that opening night, alongside audio memories from friends of the club from years gone by.
Saxophonist Alex Garnett – who leads Ronnie Scott’s All Star trio – will be playing Ronnie’s original tenor sax, performing a composition by Ronnie who founded the club in 1959.
A special guest on the first night was veteran saxophonist Pete King who, like the house band, got a rapturous reception for the privileged audience who were exclusively invited to the first night.
The series of shows will feature some amazing live renditions of legendary albums from that era including Miles Davis’ ‘Kind of Blue’, Horace Silver’s ‘Blowin’ The Blues Away’, Dave Brubeck Quartet’s ‘Time Out’ and John Coltrane’s ‘Giant Steps’, as well as wonderful tributes to artists like Sonny Rollins, Stan Tracey and Wes Montgomery.
Ronnie Scott’s Managing Director Simon Cooke said “Gerry’s felt appropriate as the original site is unavailable, so this felt like the next best thing. The original Ronnie Scott’s was a fairly no-frills affair, with a stage, a bar and an audience, so we’re reproducing the club as it was in 1959.”
The Old Place pop-up at Gerry’s is part of a year-long celebration of the club’s 60th anniversary.
Ronnie Scott’s has staged several events over the course of the year, including the release of their definitive Jazz 60 playlist, a summer-long residency at Pikes in Ibiza, a roaring 60th anniversary street party and most recently, an instrument amnesty organised by the Ronnie Scott’s Charitable Foundation which resulted in more than 350 instruments donated to beneficiaries across the UK and abroad.
The birthday celebrations will culminate in a special 60th anniversary gala concert featuring Van Morrison and Imelda May on October 30 at The Royal Albert Hall.

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson has announced a new single, ‘Kill My Mind’.
The former One Direction star has revealed his brand new track will be out next Thursday (05.09.19) and he is “so excited” for his fans to hear the new song.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “So happy to finally announce my new single #KillMyMind will be out a week today! Soooooo excited for you all to hear what I’ve been working on! (sic)”
Fans took to social media straight away to share their excitement, with some having already printed off posters to hand around their local area to help promote it.
Louis had previously teased fans that there is “not long now” until he releases new tunes.
Thanking fans for choosing him as the winner of the Choice Single: Male Artist Award at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards for his emotional single, ‘Two Of Us’ – which helped him with the grief of losing his mother Johannah Deakin, he wrote: “Just another thank you to everyone who voted for the award. You’re all incredible!! Not long now….. (sic)”
And the ‘Just Hold On’ hitmaker was inspired by Liam Gallagher to bare his soul on the single.
He said: “I don’t like being clever for the sake of being clever. Sometimes it’s cool to read between the lines. My lyrical style, naturally, is to just be matter of fact, honest and sometimes blunt. I kind of shied away from writing that song because I didn’t really think I was ready to go through that process yet. I got into a session and we ended up getting into it, and it was going perfectly. I really did want to write this song, I was just intimidated because it had to be perfect.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West has dropped a huge hint her husband Kanye West’s new album will be released next month.
The 38-year-old reality star-turned-aspiring lawyer took to Twitter to share a picture of a piece of paper which looked like details of the rapper’s new record, which is expected to be titled ‘Jesus is King’.
The name appears at the top of the paper followed by 12 entries, including ‘Water’, which is a song Kanye debut at his Coachella Sunday Service in April.
Underneath that, there is a date, September 27, which fans have speculated could well be the day the 42-year-old star drops his ninth studio album.
Kim also captioned the post with a prayer emoji.
Kanye last dropped an album in June 2018 when he released eighth record ‘Ye’.
Just three months later, he revealed his next album would be called ‘Yandhi’ but the release was then postponed indefinitely.
In March this year, Kanye was said to have been eyeing up a collaboration with Dua Lipa for his new record.
An insider said at the time: “Kanye is super impressed with Dua’s voice and he knows she’s really hot property in the industry right now.
“He met her at the church service he holds in LA every Sunday and is now keen to get her on board.
“She’s already teamed up with Calvin Harris and he saw how well that song did commercially.
“He’s got a few songs he thinks Dua would be perfect for and is really eager to get her on his next album ‘Yandhi’.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The 1975’s Matty Healy wants to play shows in controversial places.
The ‘Love It If We Made It’ hitmaker has said he would jump at the chance to play in places such as Israel – which many artists have boycotted because of its government’s clashes with Palestinian protestors – because he believes the young people who want to see The 1975 perform “are not representative of the government”.
When asked if he had reservations about putting on shows in places that are opposed to his own ideologies, he said: “No, because there are definitely people here that the victim of those oppressive ideas, and I’m not a diplomat or a politician.
“It’s like the Palestine/Israel thing – I would go and play both places. Not because I’m taking a side but because there are young people there who are not representative of the government, and I believe that in countries that may be war-torn or separated due to political ideologies, the only thing that unifies people is culture and art.”
Matty and his band – comprised of Ross MacDonald, George Daniel, and Adam Hann – recently performed in Dubai, and the ‘Chocolate’ singer said he was “sad” that many of their fans who are teenage girls were unable to attend.
Speaking to NME, he said: “I’ve been meeting so many kids walking around and I’m like, ‘Are you coming to the show?’ And they’re like, ‘Oh, I can’t, my dad would not allow me, or my religion doesn’t allow it,’ and all that kind of thing.
“So that’s sad because I think that art is for everybody. But I understand that I’m quite a – I don’t know what I am – an outspoken … bisexual … I don’t know, whatever I am. So they’re probably not really into my vibe over here, the dads.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna has delayed the start of her ‘Madame X Tour’.
The Queen of Pop has been forced to reschedule some dates due to the “highly specialised production elements” of the show, a Live Nation promoter told Variety.
The ‘Medellin’ singer’s concerts at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York on September 12 and 14 September have been rescheduled to October 10 and 12, respectively.
And the show on September 15 has been axed completely, with refunds available.
The tour now kicks off on September 17.
In a statement, the ‘Vogue’ hitmaker admitted she had “underestimated” the time needed to put on the “most unique and magical musical experience” for her fans and confessed her alter ego Madame X is nothing but a “perfectionist”.
She explained: “Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience.
“She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding.”
The tour is in support of Madonna’s album ‘Madame X’, which was released in June, and is largely inspired by her time living in Lisbon, Portugal.
The 61-year-old superstar announced the theatre tour in a short sketch uploaded to YouTube, which featured herself and DJ-and-producer Diplo.
In the video – entitled ‘Madonna – A Madame X Tour Announcement’ – she told the ‘Electricity’ hitmaker: “I’m going on a theatre tour. Have you experienced the magic of a theatre? The intimacy of a theatre? I want to have an intimate experience with my fans.”
Whilst Diplo thought the idea was “terrible”, Madonna insisted the small shows would make for a great atmosphere.
She added: “Look at us, like me and you, together and like … talking. We’re just gonna vibe with each other. We’re gonna get close.”
And then speaking directly to the camera, the ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker closed the clip by saying: “Madame X is going on tour. A theatre tour.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Natasha Bedingfield “wishes she had the guts to be like Radiohead”.
The ‘Unwritten’ hitmaker has experimented a lot more on her long-awaited comeback album, ‘Roll With Me’, and she has admitted that she wants to try and get even weirder with her sound like Thom Yorke’s band on her next record.
In an interview with The Independent newspaper, Natasha said: “In no way am I comparing myself to Radiohead, but I’ve always made very anthemic songs – not more anthemic, because there are plenty of anthemic Radiohead songs.
“But I see them as, like, scientists of music, and they’ll play something and you’ve never heard it before, and you’ll be like, ‘Ooh, this is weird’.
“I wish I had the guts to be like Radiohead, because they always take a risk, and they really do write the stuff that is right on the edge, and I feel like I have always written songs that are… more accessible at the start.
“Maybe I’ll do that on my next album, I don’t know.”
‘Roll With Me’ is the 37-year-old singer’s first record in nine years.
The ‘Pocket Full of Sunshine’ hitmaker’s fourth studio album is released on Friday (30.08.19), after a lengthy break following her 2010 album ‘Strip Me’, and she teased that the songs are “bright and bold” and will “move people”.
Natasha said: “I wanted to make music that moves people and makes them move, bright and bold but in a way that is also raw and honest.”
‘Roll With Me’ is produced by multi-platinum producer Linda Perry, who is best known for writing and producing Christina Aguilera’s mega-hit ‘Beautiful’.
Perry added: “I wanted to work with Natasha because she is one of the best live performers I have ever seen and has one of the most versatile voices I have ever heard. It was important to both of us to capture the true spirit of who Natasha Bedingfield is and we nailed it!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bon Jovi’s new album will be called ‘Bon Jovi: 2020’ and feature “socially conscious” themes.
The ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ rockers played a snippet of a new song on social media from the Ocean Way Nashville Recording Studios in March, giving fans the first hint of the much-anticipated new LP, the follow-up to their 2016 chart-topping record ‘This House is Not for Sale’.
At the end of the 30-second video, frontman Jon Bon Jovi simply said: “Day one, song one, new record, see ya!”
The video panned to the studio and shows the rest of the band – including Tico Torres, David Bryan, Phil X, and Hugh McDonald – in the studio with earphones on.
And now Jovi has revealed more details about the record.
Speaking on board the Norwegian Pearl cruise ship, as the band performed an acoustic set in the Stardust Theater, the singer is quoted by Variety as saying: “It’s an election year, so why not?
“I couldn’t do any worse.”
The ‘It’s My Life’ rocker also teased that he has a “clear vision” for the record.
He continued: “‘This House is Not For Sale’ dealt with personal matters, and now it’s behind us.
“Now I have clear vision moving forward.”
Among the topics will be the recent shootings in Ohio and Texas.
The ‘Knockout’ hitmakers hit the road this summer for their first stadium tour across the UK in six years, including shows at London’s Wembley Stadium and Liverpool’s Anfield.
The London concert was special for the band after they had to cancel a show more than a decade ago because the new stadium wasn’t ready yet.

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has thanked Niall Horan for hailing her song ‘Lover’ “a classic”.
The One Direction star took to his Instagram Stories to praise the US pop superstar for the “important” album-titled track.
Alongside a screenshot of the song, he wrote: “This song is a classic and it’s so important for music.”
And the ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker re-posted the message on her own Story, and wrote: “THANK YOU NIALL!! (sic)”
The pair previously surprised fans at Taylor’s Wembley Stadium show on her ‘Reputation Tour’ last year by performing a rendition of the Irish hunk’s solo hit ‘Slow Hands’.
The 25-year-old star isn’t the only pop star to heap praise on Taylor’s new music.
Kim Petras recently admitted she is “thankful” to Taylor for flying the flag for the LGBTQ+ community on ‘You Need To Calm Down’.
The 29-year-old singer featured a number of stars from the community – including singer Hayley Kiyoko, YouTuber Hannah Hart, Olympic figure skater Adam Ripper, and ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ star Todrick Hall – in her music video for the song, and said her decision to do so came as she wanted to be more vocal about her support for the community.
And transgender star Kim, 26, applauded the ‘End Game’ singer for being “brave” enough to use her huge platform to speak out to the large percentage of her fans who are straight.
She said: “Taylor Swift’s fan base is so mainstream and so middle America, where it’s not as progressive as some other parts.
“It’s great that she is spreading that message to her fans who maybe don’t have gay friends.
“I am thankful to her for doing that as part of the LGBTQ community.”
Taylor recently admitted she feels she needs to do more for the LGBTQ+ community after a conversation she had which made her realise she hadn’t been “loud and clear” about her position.
She said: “Maybe a year or two ago, Todrick and I are in the car, and he asked me, ‘What would you do if your son was gay?’
“The fact that he had to ask me … shocked me and made me realise that I had not made my position clear enough or loud enough. [I told him] ‘If my son was gay, he’d be gay. I don’t understand the question.’
“If he was thinking that, I can’t imagine what my fans in the LGBTQ community might be thinking. It was kind of devastating to realise that I hadn’t been publicly clear about that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran asks his manager about doing the James Bond theme “every day”.
Stuart Camp – who has managed the ‘Shape of You’ hitmaker since the start of his career – has revealed Ed is still “open” to landing the job for Daniel Craig’s last outing as 007 in ‘No Time To Die’ next year, but he claims producer Barbra Broccoli and her team don’t hold discussions for the gig until much later on.
Speaking to Music Week, Stuart said: “We met [Bond producer] Barbara Broccoli when we played Dublin [in 2017] and they were interested.
“Danny Boyle was attached to the film after that, who made ‘Yesterday’ [which featured Sheeran], so there was a close connection there.
“Obviously they changed directors but we’re still open to it, but they’re not even having those conversations yet.”
The Grumpy Old Management company owner denied the claims that the 28-year-old pop superstar is Daniel’s “favourite act” and that’s it’s already a done and dusted deal, but said it’s definitely something Ed wants to tick off his bucket list.
He continued: “Ed asks me [about it] every day. “And I say, ‘The thing they do last is the music’.
“Those [stories] that said he’s Daniel Craig’s favourite act and it’s all happening aren’t true.
“It’s certainly something he’d want to do though, it’s a box that’s still to be ticked, for sure.”
Ed previously revealed that he wrote a Bond theme a few years ago “just in case”.
The ‘Castle on the Hill’ hitmaker said he hadn’t been approached to write a song for one of the movies, but if bosses of the spy saga do ever knock at his door for help on the soundtrack, he’s all ready to go.
He said: “With Bond, I’ve had a theme tune written for about three years, just in case!”
While the ‘Perfect’ singer reassured fans his Bond theme is “good”, he didn’t want to give away any details about the song, including the title.
He said: “I’m not going to say ’cause someone might steal it.”
Several names have been linked to the gig, including Dua Lipa, who denied the rumours but said she would be up for it, and Sam Smith and Adele, who already recorded ‘Writing’s On The Wall for 2015’s ‘Spectre’ and 2012’s ‘Skyfall’ respectively.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ava Max was told she had to “act and dress” a “certain way” by music executives.
The ‘Sweet But Psycho’ hitmaker has admitted she came close to calling it a day after being advised to sound more “soft” vocally to fit in with the popular “indie” crowd and switch up her image.
She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Producers were telling me to change my sound and sing more soft because indie was super-in.
“I was like, ‘I don’t do that – I like to belt it out.’
“They wanted me to act and dress in a certain way.”
The US pop star – who performed on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey on Monday night (26.08.19) – doesn’t let anyone’s opinions bother her on social media, but when she knows some personally she admitted it can “really hurt”.
She added: “The internet doesn’t bother me.
“When you don’t know people and they talk bad about you, it doesn’t affect me.
“But when you know somebody and they talk bad about you, that’s when you get really hurt.”
Meanwhile, Ava’s follow-up to ‘Sweet But Psycho’ – which was number one in 22 countries – ‘So Am I’, is all about learning to love yourself and embracing being “different”.
The 25-year-old singer says if she is having a bad day, she turns to the lyrics to remind herself that no one is “perfect”.
She said: “‘So Am I’ is about loving yourself, being different, being an outcast and not fitting in the format that society wants to put us in – just celebrating what really makes you different.
“Whenever I’m feeling down, I remind myself that my flaws make me perfect, because in reality there is no perfect.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Normani had “bruises” on her knees from doing the splits for her performance at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
The former Fifth Harmony star made her solo debut at the ceremony in New Jersey on Monday night (26.08.19), and as well as being one of the big winners of the night, collecting the Moon Man for Best R&B music video for ‘Motivation’, the 23-year-old star delivered one of the highlight performances of the evening, and admitted a lot of “blood, sweat and tears” went into recreating moments from the promo, which sees her twerk and have clothes ripped off her.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Oh my goodness, people don’t have any idea!
“It’s three minutes I’m up there on stage, but they don’t have the slightest idea of the hard work, blood, sweat, tears – I literally have bruises on my knees [from] however many times I did that split.”
Thanking her choreographer, Sean Bankhead, for pushing her to the max, she continued: “[He] is incredible. He pushes me to the fullest of my capacity.
“I swear that man thinks I can do anything and everything. I’m like, ‘You really think that?’ And he’s like, ‘Because you can!'”
And giving a nod to her dancers, she added: “They kept me energised on the stage. Kept me confident.”
The ‘Dancing with a Stranger’ hitmaker – who showed off her taut tummy in a purple velour two-piece – also revealed she “freaked out” during the performance when one of her dancers was meant to remove just one part of her outfit but ended up getting caught up in the material.
She admitted: “I was honestly still freaked out about the fact that the situation wasn’t working but I was like, ‘Go for it.’
“Aye! I’m so happy [how it turned out]!”
Normani gushed about how “grateful” she is to have been honoured with her first solo VMAs statuette so early on in her career, and admitted getting to be a part of the moment in “pop culture” history is “really crazy”.
She beamed: “I’ve worked incredibly hard seven, eight long years in [preparation for] this moment and it’s just really beautiful because it’s also the beginning.
“So, I’m just really, really grateful for the opportunity.
“I feel like the VMAs is unlike any other show.
“This is where the biggest moments in pop culture happen and the fact that I got to be a part of that tonight is really crazy.”
