OHMYGOSSIP — Adele is set to make her music comeback with an upbeat track about her divorce.
The 31-year-old singer/songwriter and her husband Simon Konecki have filed for divorce after splitting up earlier this year and Adele is ready to move on by releasing a new song about their split.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “The song is upbeat and is all about Adele’s relationship with her ex-husband Simon.
“But it’s optimistic, reflective of the good times and about learning to move on from them and make new memories by yourself.
“It has been cathartic for her to put her feelings into her music. Fans can expect to hear personal details on her album.
“All being well, the song should be out in November but she is still working on everything.”
Adele and Simon had been together for seven years and married for three. They have son Angelo together.
It was recently revealed that after filing for divorce, Adele is getting ready “both mentally and physically” to release her fourth album.
A source previously explained: “Adele feels free and is moving on with her life. It looks like the divorce will be straightforward at this stage. They both wants what is best for their son. She is definitely getting ready both mentally and physically to promote new music. It seems it will happen later this year. She talks about last year as a very difficult year and she’s said in the past that creating new music is almost like therapy. You can tell that she is ready to share with her fans.”
For her birthday this year, Adele admitted it had been a difficult 12 months and she felt now was the right time to focus on herself.
She wrote: “This is 31 … thank f**king god. 30 tried me so hard but I’m owning it and trying my hardest to lean in to it all. No matter how long we’re here for life is constant and complicated at times. I’ve changed drastically in the last couple years and I’m still changing and that’s okay. 31 is going to be a big ol’ year and I’m going to spend it all on myself. For the first time in a decade I’m ready to feel the world around me and look up for once. Be kind to yourself people we’re only human, go slow, put your phone down and laugh out loud at every opportunity. Learning to REALLY truly love yourself is it, and I’ve only just realised that that is more than enough. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne says working with Post Malone and making a new album saved him after his recent health scare left him thinking he was “dying”.
The ‘Paranoid’ hitmaker has fought with pneumonia and suffered a nasty fall – which resulted in him having 15 metal rods placed in his spine, and was made worse as the tumble aggravated an old injury he suffered during his infamous 2003 quad bike accident – in the past year.
And the 70-year-old rocker has admitted that if it wasn’t for the 24-year-old rapper asking him to appear on their hit single ‘Take What You Want’, and him subsequently making a new solo record with the rapper’s producer Andrew Watt, he would still be sofa-bound and “lying in [his] own self-pity”.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Ozzy said: “I’ve made a new album and it’s helped get me back on track.
“I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. It’s the greatest album I’ve done.”
Ozzy had no idea who the ‘Wow’ hitmaker was until he asked him to feature on the track, but said recording the new songs with Andrew for his first LP since 2010’s ‘Scream’ got him back on his feet.
He continued: “I’d never even heard of this kid.
“He wanted me to sing on his song ‘Take What You Want’, so I did and then one thing led to another.
“I started recording a new album with Post Malone’s producer Andrew Watt.
“It’s only nine tracks but it was a catalyst to get me to where I am today.”
Ozzy also admitted he felt like he was “dying” until the new music got him “off [his] a**e”.
He added: “If it wasn’t for making this record I would still be on traction, thinking, ‘I’m going to be lying here for ever’.
“I’ve missed music so badly.
“My fans are so loyal and so good.
‘Up until making the album I thought I was dying. But that got me off my a**e.”
The ‘Crazy Train’ rocker also confessed he’s “out of touch” with how the music industry works these days and struggles to get his head around streaming, and he quipped that he thought Spotify was a skin condition.
He said: “This is my first recording in a studio for ten years, so I do feel a bit out of touch.
Music goes straight online these days and that’s quicker than it takes me to write a text. It’s all about downloads and streaming now. What the f*** does that mean? What’s Spotify? I thought it was a skin problem where you woke up spotified.
“The album was all finished in four weeks. I said to Sharon that I didn’t feel like I’d made an album because we haven’t ended up screaming at each other.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bananarama don’t think they could have coped with Twitter trolls if social media existed when they began their career.
The pop duo – made up of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward – have heaped praise on Little Mix star Jesy Nelson for her recent BBC documentary ‘Jesy Nelson: Odd One Out’, which saw the 28-year-old singer document her battle with online bullies and how she came close to taking her own life as a result of nasty comments about her appearance.
Sara, 57, told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “It’s terrible, it’s sad and very strong of her to actually bare all and say it as it is.”
Her bandmate Keren, 58, struggled with bad reviews and was never “overly confident” and would have likely been torn apart by comments about her looks when they were younger.
She said: “I know how bad It was when people bitched in reviews or made comments about what you look like.
“I personally wasn’t overly confident and I think if someone had ripped me to shreds constantly about what I looked like I think it would have deeply affected me, so in one way it’s a good thing it didn’t exist.”
The ‘Venus’ hitmaker added how in the 80s, they received “awful comments” from other female artists and she thinks it’s time women supported and empowered each other.
She said: “The thing that upsets me is when it comes from women.
“Throughout our career some of the most awful comments have come from women.
“I just feel like women should probably fight together and stick together as you’re fighting in a man’s world and if you’re still there then good for you.”
Sara and Keren reunited with original member Siobhan Fahey for their first tour in almost 30 years in 2017, but she departed the group in August 2018.
The pair have been back touring as a duo, following the release of their first record in a decade, ‘In Stereo’, in April.
However, Siobhan recently claimed she wasn’t told the whole story about the plans for their comeback and was disappointed in their reunion.
She said: “I didn’t want to do it just for a British tour and I went back on the understanding that we were going to take it around the world and maybe do a new single.
“But it transpires that’s not what they wanted. They just wanted the British tour.”
The 61-year-old singer – who added that she “doubts” she’ll ever return to the group again – also claimed she wasn’t involved in their comeback record from the start.
She explained: “No. They had that in the can before we did the tour.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Simply Red have announced a 2020 UK tour.
The ‘Fairground’ hitmakers will head out on an 11-date run, kicking off in Newcastle October 6, 2020, and wrapping in Bournemouth on October 23, following the release of the band’s upcoming LP ‘Blue Eyed Soul’.
Frontman Mick Hucknall said he hopes his long-standing bandmates – who have played with him consistently since 2003 – will “enjoy playing” the shows and that fans will “get up and move around” and that everyone will “put their heart into it”.
He added: “It’s all about capturing the groove.”
The ‘Something Got Me Started’ hitmakers returned with their first album in eight years, ‘Big Love’, in 2015.
The follow-up to 1995’s ‘Life’ came about after the 59-year-old singer started to wonder how the band were going to sound on tour.
After getting a concept for Simply Red’s live sound in his head he then got inspired to start writing and then he couldn’t stop penning tracks.
The ‘Holding Back the Years’ singer previously explained” “Once I began wondering how Simply Red were going to sound, I started writing songs.”
While he hadn’t worked with Steve Lewinson, Kenju Suuki, Kevin Robinson, Dave Clayton and Ronnie Roth for eight years, their break meant that Mick developed a much clearer appreciation for Simply Red’s legacy.
And he admitted that the reason it had been so long since a completely original album, was because he’d been “fighting” the idea of Simply Red’s sound, but he’s now “comfortable with the band being a “blue-eyed soul group”.
Mick said: “With (Simply Red’s 2007 album) ‘Stay’ I was running away from Simply Red.
“But now I’m comfortable with the notion of us as a blue-eyed soul group.
“I had to stop myself fighting that idea. Our sound is original too. I honestly don’t know of another band that has pulled so many musical strands together.”
‘Blue Eyed Soul’ is released on November 8.

OHMYGOSSIP — BTS have returned to work after a “period of rest”.
The K-pop superstars – V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, Jungkook and Suga – announced an extended break from the spotlight on August 12, but promised fans they would “return refreshed and recharged”.
And on Monday (16.09.19), the ‘Boy With Luv’ stars headed to the airport to start promo again for their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour’, which resumes in Saudi Arabia on October 11.
A source at their record label Big Hit Entertainment told South Korean news outlet Newsen: “BTS has ended their period of rest and will be flying out today for a scheduled activity.”
Announcing their brief hiatus, the label had said in a statement on social media:
“Hello. This is Big Hit Entertainment. We would like to announce that for the first time since their debut, BTS will be going on an official and extended period of rest and relaxation. Today’s LOTTE DUTY FREE FAMILY CONCERT performance will make the last scheduled event before members prepare to take their vacations. This period of rest will be an opportunity for the members of BTS, who have relentlessly driven themselves towards their goal since their debut, to recharge and prepare to present themselves anew as musicians and creators.
“This will also provide them with a chance to enjoy the ordinary lives of young people in their 20s, albeit briefly. During this time, the members will rest and recharge in their own personal ways. Should you have a chance encounter with a member of BTS while they are on vacation, we ask that you show consideration for their need to rest and enjoy their private time off. BTS will return refreshed and recharged to return all the love you have an continue to show them. Thank you (sic)”
The break came after the group previously insisted they “won’t sing in English” just to get a “number one” single in America and Europe and they will not “change” their “identity” for it.
RM said: “A Hot 100 and a Grammy nomination, these are our goals. But they’re just goals – we don’t want to change our identity or our genuineness to get the number one. Like if we sing suddenly in full English, and change all these other things, then that’s not BTS. We’ll do everything, we’ll try. But if we couldn’t get number one or number five, that’s OK.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce has announced a TV special giving fans an inside look at the making of her ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album.
The 38-year-old superstar – who voiced Nala in this year’s ‘The Lion King’ remake – released the LP inspired by the Disney movie, which features collaborations with the likes of husband Jay-Z, their seven-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Pharrell and more, in July, and now the documentary ‘Making The Gift’ will air on ABC at 10pm on tonight (16.09.19) and reveal “Beyoncé’s creative process”.
Alongside a teaser for the show, Beyonce wrote on Instagram: “ABC Network. 10pm.”
The Destiny’s Child star documented her headline performance at Coachella in the Netflix film ‘Homecoming’ last year.
Speaking about the ‘The Lion King: The Gift’, which she also produced, Beyonce said she wanted to make sure it was “produced by the best African producers” and said that “authenticity and heart were important” to her.
The ‘Spirit’ singer said previously: “This is sonic cinema. This is a new experience of storytelling.
“I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film.
“It is a mixture of genres and collaboration that isn’t one sound.
“It is influenced by everything from R&B, hip-hop and Afro Beat.
“I wanted to put everyone on their own journey to link the storyline.
“Each song was written to reflect the film’s storytelling that gives the listener a chance to imagine their own imagery, while listening to a new contemporary interpretation.
“It was important that the music was not only performed by the most interesting and talented artists but also produced by the best African producers. Authenticity and heart were important to me.”
The ‘Halo’ hitmaker also featured on Disney’s original soundtrack in the remake of the Disney classic, a version of Sir Elton John’s ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’, alongside Donald Glover, who voices Nala’s love interest Simba in the film.

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher will be honoured with the BMI President’s Award at the 2019 BMI London Awards.
The ‘Black Star Dancing’ hitmaker – who was the chief lyricist in his former band Oasis – is being recognised for his “influence” on songwriting and for being “one of the most prolific songwriters of his generation”.
BMI President and CEO, Mike O’Neill, commented: “Noel Gallagher is one of the most prolific songwriters of his generation.
“His originality and authenticity have inspired musicians and fans around the world, both as the songwriting genius behind Oasis and as a solo artist. We’re incredibly honoured to recognise Noel’s achievements and present him with the BMI President’s Award.”
The ‘Wonderwall’ songwriter follows in the footsteps of the likes of Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay, Kenny Chesney, Pink, Willie Nelson, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine and Gloria and Emilio Estefan in receiving the prestigious accolade.
The annual ceremony, which takes place on October 21 at London’s Savoy Hotel, will also see ‘Decline’ hitmaker Raye become the first ever recipient of The BMI Impact Award.
The prize has been created to celebrate the artist’s “groundbreaking artistry, creative vision and impact on the future of music”.
As well as featuring on hit songs including Jonas Blue’s ‘By Your Side’ and top 5 single ‘You Don’t Know Me’ with Jax Jones, Raye has co-written songs for the likes of Little Mix, Rita Ora, John Legend and Ellie Goulding.
And this year saw her work with her idol Beyonce on the track ‘Bigger’ from the R&B superstar’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album, which is inspired by the remake of the Disney classic.
Meanwhile, The Million-Air Awards, Song of the Year and Most Performed works will all be recognised at the star-studded ceremony next month.
The likes of Ed Sheeran, Liam Payne, Tinie Tempah, James Arthur and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid were among the winners last year.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Pussycat Dolls are making a comeback.
Nicole Scherzinger, 41, and bandmates Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt have reportedly signed a multi-million deal to reunite and go on a huge world tour.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Nicole has long turned down offers for a reunion but with the 10-year anniversary of their hiatus passing, she finally said she was ready.
“Nicole was made a multi-million pound offer to re-join the group and was given a huge advance which made it impossible for her to turn down.
“The tour is going to be huge and the group will be playing their greatest hits. But there has been talk of the possibility of them recording new music.
“It’s in the early stages but now they’re going to be back together, a couple of them, including Nicole, have said they’d be open to working on some new sounds together.”
The group – who split in 2009 – is expected to head out on tour in 2020.
Earlier this year, Nicole hinted at a reunion when she revealed she missed touring with her former bandmates.
She said: “I miss touring. That’s why I’d love to one day go back out so it could be a party.
“When I went solo after, I really enjoyed touring with my dancers and I was like ‘God I miss my girls’. I’d love for us to be able to get back out and just enjoy it and breathe.”
And Melody recently revealed she would be open to a reunion.
She said: “I don’t think a Pussycat Dolls reunion is impossible to fathom. I love and respect my bandmates, so when the stars align.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran has attempted to quash his feud with Wiley.
The ‘Heatwave’ hitmaker recently called Ed a clout chaser and a “culture vulture”, saying the chart-topping pop star has befriended certain people within the grime scene, including Stormzy, in order to gain popularity.
The ‘Boasty’ rapper initially said: “I’m sick of people using grime to look good for two minutes. (sic)”
But, Stormzy – who teamed up with Ed on the track ‘Take Me Back To London’ – defended his showbiz pal.
He wrote on Twitter: “Wiley you know Ed been doing this from early, been a real one from early, can’t question that, you know I love you and respect you brother but nah don’t do that. (sic)”
However, Wiley refused to back down from his initial comments, posting a laughing emoji and writing: “shall I get my guitar and foot pedal out? (sic)”
The grime star then added: “Anyone who uses us and our sounds are culture vultures… I’m getting my guitar and foot pedal out and I don’t wanna hear nobody moaning about nothing. (sic)”
Wiley reignited the feud last week, when he tweeted: “@Drake @edsheeran The 2 worse culture vultures on this planet (sic)”
Now the ‘Perfect’ hitmaker, who previously worked with Wiley on the song ‘You’ for his ‘No. 5 Collaborations Project’ in 2011, has responded to deny the rapper’s claim that he refused to release one of their other songs.
Ed wrote in a lengthy note on Instagram: “Dear Wiley Just wanna clear a few things up.
“I never said no to doing a song for you after we made ‘You’ for no.5. You wanted to release ‘If I could’ the same week as my debut single on a major label and I merely asked if you could move to a week before or a week after, which you did, the song came out, and I’m still very proud of it.
“I’ve said yes to 90% of the features I’ve been personally asked for, unless I’ve been on a break or I haven’t known the artist personally.
“The only time I can think of that I didn’t let my name get featured on a song I was on, was on Chip’s league of my own part 2, he asked me to sing backing vocals, which [I] did, and I didn’t feel comfortable being a featured artist when I hadn’t written or performed properly on the song. (sic)”
He then denied that his 2011 hit ‘You Need Me, I Don’t Need You’ was a dig at Wiley and insisted that the track was penned out of “angst” when he was just 15.
He continued: “you need me I don’t need you I wrote when I was 15, and definitely isn’t about anything other than teenage angst.”
The ‘I Don’t Care’ hitmaker concluded that he has no hard feelings towards the ‘Wearing My Rolex’ star and has “deep respect” for his scene.
He added: “You know I have a deep respect for the scene, and for you. I look forward to godfather 3, excited to hear it…This is the last [I’ll] say on this.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Clean Bandit are planning a duet featuring two male stars.
The ‘Rather Be’ hitmakers have had hits with the likes of Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne, Demi Lovato and Zara Larsson, and for their next track they are on the lookout for another singer to join the top secret US star they have bagged for the song.
Grace Chatto – who plays cello in the chart-topping trio – told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “We hope to release a new song by the end of the year.
“We already have a male American artist, I can’t say who, but it’s going to be a duet so we are looking for the second singer at the moment.
“It would be good to get two men singing. We tend to gravitate to female voices so it would be interesting to work with two male singers.”
Meanwhile, the Symphony’ hitmakers have promised they will release their collaboration with Sir Elton John before he retires.
The electronic group – completed by brothers Jack and Luke Patterson – put off releasing their song with the 72-year-old music legend as they felt it was “too good” for their 2018 LP ‘What Is Love?’ – which features the likes of Ellie Goulding, Marina and Rita Ora.
But after months of teasing the track, they revealed they are going to make their next record “stylistically different” to make way for their song with the ‘Rocket Man’ hitmaker, which they promised will be released before he finishes his retirement tour, which wraps in December 2020.
Grace said earlier this year; “We have a lot of new songs including the one with Elton John but we kind of thought it was too good for our album.
“So the next album is going to be stylistically different, we want to get him (Elton) before he retires, well we already have the recording.”
Grace previously revealed that Elton’s song harks back to their ‘Rather Be’ era.
She said: “We realised there was a sound developing in a certain part of the Venn diagram of the album and we wanted to push that.
“It was kind of this tropical, plastic-y, mournful sound, whereas his songs were more from the ‘Rather Be’ world.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bebe Rexha has collaborated with Pete Wentz again.
The 30-year-old pop star previously worked with the Fall Out Boy bassist as a singer in his group Black Cards and she enjoyed recording with him so much, they have teamed up for a forthcoming new project.
She told Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “I loved working with Pete and being in the Black Cards taught me a lot. It was a fun and exciting time.
“I’ve actually been working with Pete on something new, so keep an eye out for that.”
Before she became a household name, Bebe wrote songs for other artists and recognised that giving away tracks such as ‘The Monster’ – which was recorded by Eminem and Rihanna – would help with her own career.
She said: “When I heard Eminem was interested in ‘The Monster’ and they wanted Rihanna on the hook, I knew I had to give the song away for people to take notice of me.
“We didn’t meet until we performed it at Coachella [in 2018]. He’s very chill and down to earth.”
When she finally released her own music, the ‘I’m a Mess’ singer admitted she felt very “nervous”, as well as excited.
She said: “I was nervous because I was putting a little piece of myself out into the world for people to judge, but I was also super-excited as I was proud of the music I had made and where I was at creatively.
“‘Pt 1’ is my favourite of the two ‘All Your Fault’ Eps that I released.
“I couldn’t choose a favourite collaboration or collaborator – they have all been great for different reasons.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX says her new album ‘Charli’ is her “most personal album” so far.
The 27-year-old singer released her third studio album on Friday (13.09.19), and has said the record – which comes after two mixtapes, ‘Number 1 Angel’ and ‘Pop 2’, were released in 2017 – explores her “insecurities” in a way that none of her previous work has done.
She said: “[The record is] my most personal album yet. It’s [a record] where I talk a lot more about my insecurities and my thoughts that go on in my head every day about the position I’m in as a person and as an artist.”
And whilst Charli originally planned to put out a third mixtape, she felt as though ‘Charli’ was more like a full-length project.
She added: “With ‘Pop 2’, I felt the solidifying of my fan base and was more connected to my fans than ever before. I thought that they might want an album from me. So I didn’t want to deprive them of it. I just felt confident enough to put one out.”
But the ‘Flash Pose’ singer admits there isn’t much difference between an album and a mixtape, except for the “pressure” that comes with releasing a full album.
Charli – who last released an album in the form of 2014’s ‘Sucker’ – said: “When you’re signed to a major label and you want to release an album, there’s a lot of pressure that’s attached with the word ‘album’ including sales, streams, expectations, and goals. I just wanted to put stuff out without this expectation attached to it.”
The ‘Boom Clap’ hitmaker no longer “cares” about commercial success, and would rather just have the “creative freedom” to do her own thing.
She told Entertainment Weekly magazine: “I used to think of [commercial success] all the time once I had the taste of what a big successful hit could feel like, but I feel like there’s a lot of creative freedom in not caring.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish will donate part of her Music Midtown festival fee to Planned Parenthood.
The 17-year-old singer is set to perform at the star-studded festival in Atlanta, Georgia, this weekend, and has said she will be giving part of her guarantee to Planned Parenthood Southeast, after the state of Georgia imposed new laws which restricted the circumstances in which women are legally able to have an abortion.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker wrote: “ATLANTA. one of my favorite places in the world, to be in, and play shows. but i do not love the state’s lawmaker’s decision to take away women’s rights. i still cannot believe we are even having this conversation in 2019. i’m dedicating my performance and donating a portion of my guarantee tomorrow to @plannedparenthood. we need this organization more than ever. swipe up to learn more and join me to sign the petition, and if you have any spare change, donate. Last month, Billie was among 136 artists who joined Planned Parenthood to protest laws in states across the US restricting access to abortion, as part of the Bans Off My Body campaign.
Back in May, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed one of the country’s most restrictive abortion laws, banning abortion after six weeks of pregnancy, the time when doctors can usually start detecting a heartbeat.
Meanwhile, Billie recently said being “strong-willed” has helped her to avoid being “used and manipulated” in the music industry.
She explained: “There has been a whole world of young, especially female artists, and every artist (not just young) being used and manipulated by the stereotypical label or industry.
“There’s kind of this weird name on everything now where it’s like, people expect that.
“I remember the first time I had any sort of meeting with a label or management, I was 13. I think the only people that didn’t look at me like I was going to have a horrible career were the people that I ended up working with. Everyone was just like, ‘Oh, you’re 13, yikes, you’re going to be used,’ and this and that.
“And I am like, ‘Yo, y’all are the people that would use me in the situation you are talking about.’ So, I don’t know what that is supposed to mean. The only people who didn’t say that s**t were the people that I felt an energy and connection with.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Joe Armstrong doesn’t like “long” songs any more.
The Green Day frontman may have written some lengthy tunes in the past, but the group’s new album, ‘Father Of All…’ will see all but one of the tracks clock in at less than three minutes long.
The 47-year-old singer told Kerrang! magazine: “I’ve decided that I don’t like long songs and that’s coming from a band who wrote ‘Jesus of Suburbia’.
“I’m like a 16 year old with ADHD. If I’m listening to other people’s music, I always look at how long the song is.
“If it’s over three minutes, I go, ‘Urgh, pass. I don’t wanna listen to that s**t.’ ”
The group are excited about the new “chapter” in their long career and are relieved that their new album plans are now out in the open.
Tre Cool said: “This definitely feels like a different chapter.
“We’re fired up and stoked to go out. Until now, we’ve just been f***ing lying through our teeth to every single person. ‘So what are you guys doing?’ ‘Uh, you know, nothing…’
“We’re so f***ing happy to talk about it. It’s just such a gnarly secret.
“We’ve got this record that we’re so proud of and we just want to blast it for everybody.”
Though the ‘Basket Case’ rockers hope their new record brings “freedom” to their fans, they admitted it was hard to make because of their conscious decision to do something different.
Billie Joe said: “Freedom totally. Freedom to dance.
“I think that this is going to be one of the hardest records we’ve ever made, meaning the sound is hard.
“But not trying to recreate ‘Insomniac’ or something like that. It’s just different and that, to me, is super exciting.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX thinks Instagram is the “curated version of life”.
The 27-year-old singer has been more candid than ever with her latest album, ‘Charli’ – and she admits it marks a significant deviation from what most celebrities post on their social media accounts.
She explained: “I’m a very honest person, and if I feel something, I probably say it. If I’m feeling any nervousness, or having a low day, then I say so.
“Instagram is the curated version of life, all the best bits, but sometimes we all have bad days and I think when I say stuff about it people can relate.
“It makes them think, ‘Oh OK, so it’s OK to feel this way’.
“I’ve always written songs from experience, but this album is more about emotions and my mental health, all the ups and downs of my emotions.
“Releasing something so personal does feel vulnerable, but I think what I’ve learned is that it is good to be vulnerable, it’s healthy. Everyone is human.”
Charli’s new album features the likes of Lizzo, Troye Sivan, Sky Ferreira, Christine and The Queens, and Haim.
But still, the pop star regrets not yet collaborating with Swedish singer Robyn or Britney Spears.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “I love her, she is my dream, but we just couldn’t get together.
“But my ultimate collaboration dream is Britney Spears – the seven-year-old me would just die.”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Ezra chose his signature baritone to stand out.
The ‘Shotgun’ hitmaker has become known for his unique sound and he admitted it was a very deliberate decision to sing deeper in an effort to give his music a twist compared to other artists in the same genre.
Speaking to GQ Magazine, he said: “There was a blond-haired singer-songwriter on every street corner. I asked myself, ‘What are you doing that is different?’
“So I used to tune my guitar down so it was lower and I’d try to sing with the biggest voice I could…”
And the 26-year-old singer revealed his second studio album ‘Staying at Tamara’s’ – which was released in May last year – was the product of a conscious effort to write the catchiest songs possible.
He explained: “This album was a product of me thinking, ‘What happens if I write the hookiest pop song that I can?’ ”
Earlier this year, George graced the infamous Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival in June, and he previously opened up about his set at the iconic Worthy Farm event – which saw him perform just before headliner Stormzy – and revealed the secret to his success this time round.
He said: “My tactic this year has been to treat it like any other show. In the past, I wouldn’t have had a few drinks the night before a big show.
“But I did and I just thought, ‘Well, actually, I love our set and I love our band and there’s really not much to overthink with an hour-long set.’ It’s really short. We call it the power hour.”
