OHMYGOSSIP — Dave Mustaine says doctors are “feeling very positive” about his “progress” during his on-going treatment for throat cancer.
The Megadeth frontman recently found out he has the disease and was told the treatment he is undergoing has a “90 per cent success rate”.
On Tuesday (17.09.19), he updated fans to let them know that he’s doing well and thanked them for their support and well wishes.
In a statement shared on the band’s official Facebook page, Dave said: “I wanted to take a moment to give you all an update on the current status of my health.
“I’m almost through the last round of treatment and my doctors are feeling very positive regarding my progress.
“I want to thank all of you for the support and well wishes these last few months.
“I can’t express enough gratitude as it has made this hard road easier knowing you are in my corner fighting with me!
“Over the next few weeks, my condition will be evaluated, and I will keep you posted on my progress.”
Although the band were forced to cancel their tour dates this year, Dave said he still plans to be at their upcoming Megacruise, which takes place between October 13 and October 18.
He added: “We can’t wait to see you, and I know all of the other wonderful artists feel the same way. Let’s make this event one for the record books. Less than 30 days till we are Thrashing through the Pacific! See you all very soon. (sic)”
The thrash metallers are due to headline the event, with acts including Anthrax, Testament and Suicidal Tendencies also due to perform, and Dave previously reassured fans it will still go ahead and they will be there in “some form”.
The 57-year-old rocker said: “I’ve been diagnosed with throat cancer. It’s clearly something to be respected and faced head on – but I’ve faced obstacles before. I’m working closely with my doctors, and we’ve mapped out a treatment plan which they feel has a 90% success rate. Treatment has already begun.”
Mustaine – who is joined by David Ellefson, Kiko Loureiro and Dirk Verbeuren in the Grammy-winning thrash metal group – continued: “Unfortunately, this requires that we cancel most shows this year.
“The 2019 Megacruise will happen, and the band will be a part of it in some form. All up to date information will be at megadeth.com as we get it. Megadeth will be back on the road ASAP.”
The rocker also revealed the ‘Sweating Bullets’ band are still ploughing ahead with work on their first new record since 2016’s ‘Dystopia’
The ‘Symphony of Destruction’ singer said in his original statement about his diagnosis: “Meanwhile, Kiko, David, Dirk and I are in the studio, working on the follow up to Dystopia – which I can’t wait for everyone to hear.

OHMYGOSSIP — U2 have announced their first show in India.
Bono and co will bring their ‘Joshua Tree Tour’ to Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on December 15, and guitarist The Edge, 58, says it will be a “tantalising” trip and he can’t wait to meet their Indian fans for the first time in their career spanning four decades.
He said: “For me [the most exciting thing is] actually getting to meet our Indian audience and see who they are – and visiting this incredible subcontinent for the first time.
“It’s going to be a frustration not being able to do so many things on a time constraint, but the chance to put your toe in the water is tantalising and exciting.”
Whilst frontman Bono, 59, admitted that he doesn’t expect the crowd to have the same raucous response to their show, because they haven’t “put in the time” to perform in the subcontinent before.
He added to Billboard: “We have been spoiled over the years by the reaction of U2 fans.
“We’re used to walking out into a roar like a 747 taking off.
“And we earned that in this city [New York] or Boston – all across the United States, we played clubs, we played to a hundred people, two hundred people.
“We haven’t done that in India and we don’t have a right to expect that same roar.
“We haven’t put in the time. But we’re going, and we will try to be worthy of people’s interest in us.”
The show will mark the final of the ‘Vertigo’ hitmakers tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1987 LP ‘The Joshua Tree’, which began back in 2017.
The Dublin legends will also play Auckland, New Zealand on November 8, before heading to Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth in Australia, and then onto Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul and Manila, before they conclude the world jaunt in Mumbai.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tove Lo struggled being in the spotlight for many years.
The Swedish pop star has opened up about how difficult she found it adapting to being an artist rather than just a songwriter and the pressure that comes with people having “opinions” on her every move.
In 2015, the ‘Habits’ hitmaker underwent serious vocal cord surgery and admitted it was a worrying period.
In an interview with The Independent newspaper, she admitted: “I didn’t feel at home in the life of being an artist.
“Being a person in the public eye, and being a person that someone has opinions about in general.
“Getting used to being away from my family and my friends and them being used to it, and being worried about my voice.”
Tove has been dubbed the “saddest girl in Sweden” in the past, but on her upcoming album ‘Sunshine Kitty’, she realised she had penned songs form a much more “calmer and happier place”.
And whilst there is some “sadness” on there, the 31-year-old singer has learnt that she doesn’t need to be “unhappy to make good songs”.
She explained: “When I listen to it, I notice there’s still quite a lot of sadness there as well.
“But I think I felt that way because I was writing it from a calmer and happier place.
“I remember I was kind of like, ‘How do you write when you’re just in a good space?’
“Like what do you grab your inspiration from?
“But it was cool to see that I don’t need to be in chaos to write, and that I don’t need to be unhappy to make good songs.
“I’ve always been quite vulnerable in my songs but I think the difference is there’s an acceptance now or like a love for being vulnerable instead of being angry about being vulnerable.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran broke his hiatus from the stage to join Khalid for a duet at his London show on Tuesday night (17.09.19).
The 28-year-old superstar announced he is taking a break from touring for “18 months” after he wrapped up his lengthy ‘Divide Tour’ with a show in Chantry Park, Ipswich, last month, but he surprised fans at the ‘Eastside’ hitmaker’s ‘Free Spirit World Tour’ show at The O2 to perform their hit song ‘Beautiful People’.
The pair also shared a hug on stage much to the delight of the sold-out crowd at the 20,000-capacity arena.
Announcing his break, Ed said: “As you may or not know, I’ve been on the ‘Divide’ tour for over two years now and this is the last day of the whole thing.
“There is something very bittersweet about it. I love that you guys are here and we are ending it in Ipswich. This is my last gig for probably 18 months.”
The ‘Castle on the Hill’ hitmaker played to around nine million people on his extensive tour – which was recently named the biggest tour ever – and Ed likened the end of the chapter to “breaking up with a girlfriend”.
He added: “We’ve played all around the world. Glastonbury, Wembley Stadium. All these amazing venues, America, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, South America – it’s been a wild one.
“It’s been an emotional day for a lot of people backstage. It kind of feels like, in a weird way, that you’re breaking up with a girlfriend that you’ve been with for years.
“It sounds odd but it has been a long tour.”
Ed then took a moment to thank his fans for “giving [him] a chance”.
Before playing his last song, he said: “This is a Framlingham Town football shirt. I am from Framlingham. Suffolk is my home. I am so happy to be ending this mammoth tour here.
“I want to say thank you to everyone on this tour. Thank you to everyone who has given me a chance. This is my last song. I wrote this when I was 15 years old. See you in a few years time. Thank you.”
The decision to take a touring break came after the ‘Perfect’ singer mentioned he would like to start a family with his wife Cherry Seaborn.
Ed’s ‘Divide Tour’ was announced earlier this month to have broken a record set by U2 in 2011 for the most attended and highest grossing tour of all time.
In 2011, U2’s ‘360 Tour’ brought in a staggering $735.4 million after the band concluded an intense 110 show run between June 2009 and July 2011.
The ‘Divide Tour’ beat U2’s record on Ed’s 246th show of the lengthy trek, making $736.7 million when he still had several weeks to go before concluding with this week’s final show, which was the tour’s 255th concert.

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix have insisted they asked Piers Morgan’s permission to use a clip of him in their live show.
The girl group – comprised of Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – reignited their feud with the journalist after having a video of him demanding an apology from them from an episode of ‘Good Morning Britain’ last year, which saw them come to heads over body shaming, air before they performed ‘Wasabi’ at their concert in Madrid, Spain, this week.
In video from the UK early morning show, Piers says: “Little Mix I think you need to make a public apology. If you’ve got the balls, come on this programme and say it to my face.”
The word face is then stuck on repeat, before the girls start the song with the line: “Come and say it to my face.”
Piers had accused the girls of using their sexy outfits to sell their music on the show.
He said in November: “What is empowering about this?
“Get your kit off, airbrush yourself to within an inch of your lives. What’s the point of it? Using nudity to sell their album.”
Piers took to Twitter on Tuesday (17.09.19) to retweet the video from their concert, and wrote: “Fabulous! No surprise that
@LittleMix are using me to make their tour a success. Thanks ladies (sic)”
The outspoken broadcaster then responded to a since-deleted tweet by a follower and said he’ll be sending the ‘Woman Like Me’ hitmakers a “large invoice” for using the video.
He wrote: “Ignore me?
“They’ve literally made me centre stage at their concerts… without my permission, incidentally, so they’ll be getting a large invoice.”
Little Mix responded to Piers and claimed he was lying about not being asked permission to clear the video, and they also cheekily invited him to one of their shows.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stereophonics have dropped new single ‘Bust This Town’ and announced a 2020 UK arena tour.
The ‘Maybe Tomorrow’ hitmakers will be making the new song – which is featured on their upcoming LP ‘Kind’ – a mainstay on their upcoming tour, which kicks off in Sheffield on February 28, includes a stop at The O2 on March 6, and concludes with two nights in their homeland at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on March 14 and March 15.
On what the track is about, frontman Kelly Jones said: “‘Bust This Town’ is a song about escapism.
“Two lovers or friends or whoever you want to interpret them to be, finally find the courage to leave the small town they are stuck in and head on down the road breaking all the rules along the way.
‘It’s the opener of side 2 of the album, with a four on the floor beat it should be a strong resident in the upcoming tour dates.”
The new song and tour announcement comes after Kelly admitted he “felt like quitting” the band after their 2018 world tour.
The ‘All In One Night’ hitmaker contemplated calling it a day because he had no inspiration to write new music after being burnt out on the road.
He admitted: “Our last gig of the world tour was September 2018, in Brooklyn – I was done, had written no songs, nothing new, I thought I felt like quitting.”
However, after some time away from his bandmates – Richard Jones, Adam Zindani and Jamie Morrison – ideas started flowing out of him and formed the songs on ‘Kind’.
He continued: “I’ve never been the sort of songwriter who needs to be isolated in a chalet in the middle of the mountains to find inspiration.
“Normally we come off a tour with a few ideas.”
Kelly ended up writing some “really vulnerable” songs which helped him deal with his thoughts.
He added: “I had a load of songs that just came through me, lyrics just filling up pages, no crossings out, complete songs formed.
“A bunch of really vulnerable songs about things I hadn’t quite worked out for myself, the songs began to inform me how I was feeling.
“I just needed to get them out of me.”
‘Fly Like An Angel’ from the album is about being “reborn” and stepping outside of your “comfort zone”.
The 45-year-old musician explained: “I feel it covers a lot of ground on the record and the line came: ‘Wanna fly like an eagle, and dare to be reborn’ – not in a religious sense but it’s about changing and growth, learning, not relying on the comfort zones of your life.
“And as people we all morph into new and different versions of ourselves.
“We don’t have to stay the same.”
Tickets for the tour go on sale on September 27 at 10am.
‘Kind’ is released on October 25.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mystery Jets have delayed their new album and cancelled their tour dates as frontman Blaine Harrison waits to have emergency surgery.
The band were due to release ‘A Billion Heartbeats’ on September 27, and they were to embark on a tour on November 5, starting at Cambridge Junction and wrapping at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on November 20.
However, all of their dates have been postponed until next year, whilst the 34-year-old singer – who was also unwell over the summer – undergoes a medical procedure to cure a nasty infection close to the bone, which is in danger of “spreading around” his body.
In a lengthy statement to fans shared on the band’s social media accounts, Blaine explained from his hospital bed: “It is with a lump in my throat that I bring you the following news from my bed at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, a place that has been something of a home from home to me over the years.
“Early on Saturday morning I awoke with a swelling in my thigh and a temperature in the high thirties.
“Upon arrival at A&E I was put straight onto the emergency operation list to halt an infection close to my bone from spreading around my body.
“As some will know, I was struck down at the beginning of the summer under similar circumstances. Upon my release, I made a plan to charge on with our summer shows as well as instores around the album release and go in for follow-up surgery straight off the back of the November tour.
“In retrospect, perhaps I hadn’t taken into account how demanding the past couple of months would be on my body.
“This industry is not one that runs from 9-5, and as anyone trying to get their art out in to the world will know, when it’s your baby, it is all-consuming and takes all that you’ve got.”
Blaine added how “humbling” it is to have a loyal fanbase who have supported him through ill-health and promised to “come back stronger than ever” in 2020.
He added: “One of the most humbling parts of being a Mystery Jet is the understanding we have known from our fans whenever my health has fluctuated. We are also fortunate to have gathered a team around us over the years of good people who understand our vision and work tirelessly to bring our ideas to light.
“Even in our efforts over the past two days to conceive a way of partly sticking to the original plan, they have been the first to remind me that health always comes first.
“Therefore, we have reluctantly decided to postpone the release of ‘A Billion Heartbeats’ to the beginning of next year, including the instore shows and UK tour.
“We believe in these songs too much to not give them our all, and love our fans too much to not bring you the show you deserve.
“We have been touched by the response to the music so far and promise you there is plenty more to come.
“Watching the autumn leaves begin to curl and golden into burnt umber and ochre hues from my hospital window, I feel a quiet excitement, that these songs are part of a conversation which we would love to keep open with you.
“2020 will be upon us before soon and we are going to come back stronger than ever. ‘God bless the NHS, Blaine and the Jets x. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Van Morrison will release new album ‘Three Chords And The Truth’ next month.
The ‘Brown Eyed Girl’ songwriter has revealed details of his upcoming record – his sixth LP in just four years – which will be available on CD, vinyl and digital download from October 25.
Reflecting on the process working on the album, Morrison said: “You’re just plugging into the feeling of it, more the feeling of it… when they’re playing…
“It’s like reading me. So, I think there’s more of that connection.”
The collection – made up of 14 new original tracks – was produced and written by Van Morrison, with the exception of his ‘If We Wait for Mountains’ collaboration with Don Black.
Legendary guitarist Jay Berliner also features on the record, while The Righteous Brothers’ Bill Medley duets with Van Morrison on ‘fame Will Eat the Soul’.
Meanwhile, the 74-year-old musician released the first song from the LP ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ today (18.09.19) with a series of shows set to promote the follow-up to 2018’s ‘The Prophet Speaks’.
Following a run in the US, Van Morrison will hit the UK with October dates in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Oxford and Nottingham, before two nights at the Dome in Brighton on December 2 and 3.
New Year’s will be celebrated with three sold out shows at the Stormont Hotel in Belfast on New Year’s Eve (31.12.19), New Year’s Day (01.01.19) and January 2.
While 2020 also kicks off with a stint of shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Van Morrison has also confirmed five nights at the London Palladium from March 20 to 25.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Twang have confirmed their new album ‘If Confronted Just Go Mad’ will be released later this year.
The ‘Either Way’ hitmakers have announced plans for their fifth studio album – the long awaited follow up to 2014 release ‘NEOTWANG’ – with the LP set to drop on November 8.
The collection – which features new singles ‘Everytime’ and ‘Dream’ – sees the group go in a fresh direction alongside new members Cat Mctigue and Rio Hellyer.
Next month, The Twang – completed by core writers Phil Etheridge and Jon Watkin alongside Ash Sheehan and Stu Hartland – will play at Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival on October 12, with dates in Oxford and Leicester the following two nights.
Then in November, the band will hit the road following the album release as special guests on the Shed Seven tour.
Kicking off on November 21 at the Victoria Hall in Stoke-on-Trent, the long UK run will include a hometown show Birmingham and dates in Nottingham, Carlisle, Blackburn, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
The tour continues into December, with nights in the likes of Middlesborough, Scunthorpe, Liverpool and Llandudno – including two stops at London’s Brixton Academy – before a double at Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse brings it to an end on December 20 and 21.
Earlier this year, a spokesperson said: “The Twang have spent more than a decade defying expectation.
“From their beginnings in their Birmingham home town, vocalist Phil Etheridge, bassist Jon Watkin, guitarist Stu Hartland and drummer Ash Sheehan continue to wow audiences and win new fans with their electric live shows.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj’s new album will be “fierce, fun, and unapologetic”.
The 36-year-old rapper teased fans she is the “most excited” she has been about a record in a “really long time” ahead of her forthcoming release, despite claiming earlier this month she was planning to retire from music.
She said: “It’s probably the most excited I’ve been about an album release in a really long time. I’m happy that we’re not making my fans wait for another album, like I’ve done in the past.”
Nicki – whose fourth studio album ‘Queen’ dropped in 2018, four years after her third record ‘The Pinkprint’ – has told supporters to look forward to a “way bigger sound” on her new album.
She added to Elle US magazine: “This one incorporates all the things people love about Nicki, but it also just has a way bigger sound, so it goes perfectly with the collection.”
It’s not known whether the chat happened before or after Nicki announced her retirement from music less than two weeks ago, revealing she is hanging up her microphone because she wants to start a family with her beau Kenneth Petty.
She wrote: “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, [check] in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE (sic).”
But the ‘Superbass’ hitmaker later issued an apology for her “abrupt and insensitive” retirement tweet, and hinted she will explain the full story soon on her Apple Beats 1 show.
She tweeted: “I’m still right here. Still madly in love with you guys & you know that. In hindsight, this should’ve been a Queen Radio discussion & it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt & insensitive, I apologize babe (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan wrote his new single in one day.
The 26-year-old singer is preparing to release new track ‘Nice To Meet Ya’, which will be the first single from his second solo album, and co-writer Ruth-Anne Cunningham revealed the pair penned the track in just one day.
She told OfficialCharts.com: “For the second album, I got less time with him because I’d been touring and it was hard to get in together. But we got two days. We did the single on the first day and then we did another song on the second day. ‘Nice To Meet Ya’, it gives me 2000s rock, Kasabian/Arctic Monkeys vibes, which I think will be very popular.
“To now have the single, I am just so happy because there is something magic… I truly believe there is something magic when we write together. It was a really special day.”
Niall and Ruth-Anne first met after she wrote One Direction’s ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’, from their ‘Four’ album and they later worked together on ‘Made In The A.M.’ for the band.
Niall later reached out to Ruth-Anne when he went solo and asked her to work on his debut record, ‘Flicker’.
She explained: “He had heard about me through Julian [Bunetta] and then we were writing for ‘Made in the A.M.’ and it was meant to be me, Louis, Niall and [songwriter] Matt Rad. Louis cancelled on the day we arrived but Niall was there so we thought let’s just write something.
“We wrote maybe two or three songs that day. We just got on like a house on fire. Obviously we’re both Irish and we love a lot of the same Irish music like Damien Rice and The Frames. Then when he was writing for his solo album, he texted me. He said he wanted to like Fleetwood Mac, Eagles Damien Rice… when do you ever get to do that in pop music?! I was like ‘SICK!’ The songs were just popping out of us.”
Ruth-Anne co-wrote ‘Seeing Blind’, ‘Fire Away’ and ‘You and Me’ for ‘Flicker’, along with Niall’s standout single ‘Slow Hands’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna is set to ban mobile phones for her London residency.
The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker will be performing for 15 nights at the city’s iconic Palladium venue in February next year, and she could enforce a rule introduced on her ‘Madame X’ tour which got underway in the US this week.
When punters enter the venue, they must put their phone in a lockable Yondr case, which can only be opened in certain designated areas.
The devices stay in the possession of the owners throughout the evening.
In an email sent out to ticket buyers, they were told: “Use of cellphones, smart watches, smart accessories, cameras or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space.”
Meanwhile, the Queen of Pop was recently forced to reschedule some dates at the start of her tour due to the “highly specialised production elements” of the show.
In a statement, the ‘Vogue’ hitmaker admitted she had “underestimated” the time needed to put on the “most unique and magical musical experience” for her fans and confessed her alter ego Madame X is nothing but a “perfectionist”.
Other huge stars like Jack White and Alicia Keys have previously put their own phone bans in place for shows, while Beyonce and Adele have hit out at people using them during performances.
The ‘Hello’ singer once confronted a fan during a concert in Italy and urged her to focus on what was happening in the moment.
She said: “an you stop filming me with a video camera because I’m really here in real life? You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey says ‘Manic’ is her “angry album”.
The ’11 Minutes’ singer will release her third record – the follow-up to 2017’s ‘Hopeless Fountain Kingdom’ – on January 17, and she has revealed that she didn’t go into the process feeling “mad”, but ended up recording some pretty angsty lyrics.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music Beats 1 radio show, she said of the single ‘Graveyard’: “Yeah, it’s very human. A lot of those sounds are super organic.
“It’s a lot of people sounds … it’s skin, you hear skin, you can tell there’s people making it.”
And on how her recent hit single ‘Without Me’ differs from the new material, Halsey said: “I sat there to make this album and I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m going to make an angry album.’
“And I wasn’t mad. It’s exciting … I’m closing a chapter in this record that I feel very much like I needed to put the final word on, put the nail in the coffin, if you will. ‘Graveyard’, marry it.”
The ‘Bad at Love’ hitmaker also admitted it was “kind of scary” writing ‘Without Me’.
She explained: “‘Without Me’ is this like blind declaration of love.
“In some ways it’s a metaphor.
“It’s about like loving someone to death, kind of.
“And then in other ways it’s actually pretty literal.
“There’s a lot of moments in the song that are pretty literal, which was kind of scary to write about. But you know me, I find the scary thing and I do it.”
Although Halsey had planned to write more about the world around her on the new record, she recently admitted that it didn’t work and she is more comfortable writing about the world through the lens of her own experiences.
She explained: “I sat down to write this album and I was like, ‘Alright, time to stop talking about yourself and start looking at the world around you!’ And then I got two songs in and I was like, ‘Uh, I only know how to talk about myself.’ Because I don’t know anything as well as I know me, so I can’t write anything as true to f**king Halsey than when I’m writing about myself.”
The star also called new single ‘Nightmare’ an “angry anthem”.
She said: “Female rage is a very tight subject for me right now.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Prodigy have paid tribute to late frontman Keith Flint on what would have been his 50th birthday (17.09.19).
The founding member of the group sadly passed away last March, aged 49, and the rest of the band admitted that “not a single day” goes by without him being in their “thoughts”.
Alongside a series of throwback photographs of the ‘Firestarter’ singer, they wrote on Twitter: “Happy birthday Flinty ,
not a single day passes u aren’t in our thoughts,
we miss you brother ,
Raise the roof wherever u are muthaf**** !
L & M …. x

Keith’s body was discovered at his Essex home and Chelmsford Coroner’s Court heard Flint died from hanging and had unspecified amounts of cocaine, alcohol and codeine in his system at the time.
Police attended the singer’s home at the time and found there were no suspicious circumstances and there was no third party involvement.
The senior coroner for Essex, Caroline Beasley-Murray, recorded an open conclusion, stating there was not enough evidence to rule the musician’s death as suicide.
Following Keith’s death, the band cancelled all of their planned tour dates, including a slot at Glastonbury festival, over two decades since they became the first dance act to headline to legendary music festival in 1997, and one decade after their last appearance in 2009.
They tweeted: “It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint. A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed. We thank you for respecting the privacy of all concerned at this time.”
In August, the band’s songwriter and producer, Liam Howlett, confirmed the ‘Omen’ hitmakers were back in the studio for the first time since Keith passed away.
Alongside a studio snap posted on the band’s official Facebook page, Liam – who is joined by Maxim in the group – wrote: “Back in the studio making noise .. brand new Prodigy tunes are gonna roll , boooom

It’s not known whether Keith will make a posthumous appearance on any of the new tunes.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ashley Roberts says talk of the Pussycat Dolls reuniting is just “rumours” at this stage.
It’s been claimed that Nicole Scherzinger and bandmates Ashley, Carmit Bachar, Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta and Kimberly Wyatt reportedly signed a multi-million deal to reunite and go on a huge world tour.
A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Nicole has long turned down offers for a reunion but with the 10-year anniversary of their hiatus passing, she finally said she was ready.
“Nicole was made a multi-million pound offer to re-join the group and was given a huge advance which made it impossible for her to turn down.
“The tour is going to be huge and the group will be playing their greatest hits. But there has been talk of the possibility of them recording new music.
“It’s in the early stages but now they’re going to be back together, a couple of them, including Nicole, have said they’d be open to working on some new sounds together.”
However, Ashley has insisted that it’s just gossip and that her Heart Breakfast radio colleagues and listeners would be “the first to know” if a comeback was in the pipeline.
Her co-host Jamie Theakston said on Tuesday morning’s (17.09.19) show: “This is just the best news ever.
“In one of the tabloids this morning, they were the sexiest girl group of all time, had a couple of hits along the way too, everyone’s looking forward to the long awaited Pussycat Dolls comeback. “Melody, Kimberley, Ashley Roberts, Carmit and Jessica and Nicole, all are gonna get back together, hit the road. The Pussycat Dolls are coming back and I for one…”
And Amanda Holden said: “We’re gonna get front row seats Jamie.”
However, Ashley stopped them in their tracks.
She said: “Woah, woah, woah. This is rumours. This is rumours. But I’ll tell you this…”
Amanda replied: “But there has to be fire. No smoke without fire.”
The ‘Buttons’ hitmaker then continued: “I’ll tell you this. If someday it is happening…”
A disappointed Amanda asked: “Someday?”
Ashley responded: “My Heart family and my Heart listeners will be the first to know. If it is happening.”
And asked by Jamie if it’s definitely not happening, Ashley coyly replied: “It’s rumours.”
And when Amanda once again said: “No smoke without fire”, Ashely repeated: “It’s rumours.”
According to the report, the group – who split in 2009 – is expected to head out on tour in 2020.
Earlier this year, Nicole hinted at a reunion when she revealed she missed touring with her former bandmates.
She said: “I miss touring. That’s why I’d love to one day go back out so it could be a party.
“When I went solo after, I really enjoyed touring with my dancers and I was like ‘God I miss my girls’. I’d love for us to be able to get back out and just enjoy it and breathe.”
And Melody recently revealed she would be open to a reunion.
She said: “I don’t think a Pussycat Dolls reunion is impossible to fathom. I love and respect my bandmates, so when the stars align.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Emeli Sande was forced to pull out of Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park after losing her voice.
The 32-year-old singer took to Twitter to apologise to fans, admitting she was “so sorry” about missing out on the London-based show on Sunday (15.09.19), but she had no choice after waking up earlier that morning and her “voice just wasn’t there”.
She wrote: “I can’t believe the situation I am in today. I am so sad to write that I am unable to perform at Hyde Park for Radio 2.
“I have been so looking forward to celebrating the release of my new album with a station and audience that has supported me continuously over so many years.
“I am so sorry for the disappointment caused. I have been singing all week and I woke up this morning and my voice just wasn’t there.”
The ‘Next to Me’ hitmaker – who released her latest album ‘Real Life’ last week – tried everything “in [her] power” to get her vocal cords going again but to no avail, and she promised to make it up to supporters.
She added: “I have tried everything in my power but sadly I have had no success.
“I am so sorry and I promise to find a way to make this up to you all. All my love, Emeli x. (sic)”
While Emeli had to miss out, several big acts did perform to the 40,000-strong crowd, including Westlife, Bananarama, and Clean Bandit.
Pet Shop Boys headlined Radio 2’s day of music with a greatest hits-filled set.
