OHMYGOSSIP — London’s O2 Arena has sold its 25 millionth ticket.
The iconic venue has been crowned the number one venue every year since it opened over a decade ago in 2007, and now, the O2 Arena has reached a new milestone with the news that it has sold a whopping 25 million tickets to various concerts and events.
The record comes as part of a year of firsts for the arena, which has seen artists including George Ezra, Post Malone, Cher, Daddy Yankee, and Khalid all performing on stage at the venue for the very first time.
In September, the venue held its first ever science show with Professor Brian Cox and it will welcome its youngest headline artist, Jojo Siwa, in November.
Emma Bownes, VP of Venue Programming, The O2 said: “To reach the 25 million ticket milestone is a huge achievement and we’re so grateful to have hosted so many artists for the first time this year. London has the best fans in the world, and we’d like to thank promoters, agents, managers and our partners for continuing to work with us to help bring the very best performers from the worlds of music, comedy, sport and entertainment to The O2”.
The venue has hosted over 2,000 individual performances since 2007, and now averages over 200 events a year.
In the past year, several records have been broken by artists at the O2 Arena, with Take That breaking their own record for the most shows played at The O2 during their 2019 tour, and Drake transforming the venue into the O3 during his seven show residency in April.
In May, The Vamps became the first performers to play five years in a row at The O2, and in October 2018, South Korean boy band BTS broke the record for the most amount of merchandise sold at the venue during their two sold out shows.
Later this year, the likes of Bjork, Jim Jefferies, Krept & Konan, Liam Gallagher, The Chemical Brothers, The Lumineers, and The World of Hans Zimmer will all take to the stage at the iconic venue.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams wants to headline Glastonbury festival.
The ‘Let Me Entertain You’ hitmaker is keen to secure a key slot at the annual music festival but insists it’ll have to be part of the main lineup and not the legends slot.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, he said: “I’d like to headline and that’s what I’d like to do, if I did anything. As far as I know, nothing is in the air for that. But they know where I am if they need me. I don’t want to do the legends slot, though.”
Robbie was inspired to return to the festival – in which he previously performed in 1998 – by his famous pal Adele’s incredible headline set on the Pyramid Stage in 2016.
However, he has not been so keen on performing at the festival in the past.
Speaking previously about his 1998 performance, he said: “We live in a very different world than we used to. I don’t think someone who’d left a pop band would feel the same way now. You know, one of One Direction being seen walking around Glastonbury isn’t the same as me walking around Glastonbury in 1995. When I was at Glastonbury it felt like the rest of the festival was like, ‘What the f**k are you doing here, you ****?’ And I sort of wanted to be OK with the big boys, I wanted to be accepted, there’s a playground mentality that carries on through life and at that time, I wanted to be accepted by the bullies, and that became part of the very fabric of my DNA: ‘Oh, I’ll be accepted by these people eventually, right, here’s my new album. Oh, they’re not accepting me, they’re not coming.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX is set to executive produce a Netflix series about an all-female indie band.
The 27-year-old pop star has played a significant role in shaping Nasty Cherry, who are signed to Charli’s Vroom Vroom Recordings label.
The six-part series, titled ‘I’m With the Band: Nasty Cherry’, is set to launch in November and Charli has lofty ambitions for the group, which features members from London and southern California.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, the chart-topping star explained: “My vision is that they become the biggest band in the world, a band I would have wanted to listen to and have been inspired by when I was 15.”
Meanwhile, Charli recently confessed that singing ‘Senorita’ wasn’t “in her blood” – even though she helped to pen the track.
The brunette beauty revealed she resisted the temptation to sing on the song because she doesn’t have the necessary “Latin Pop flare”, unlike her co-writers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
She explained: “I knew immediately the song wasn’t for me, but that it was good.
“This Latin Pop flare just wasn’t right for who I am because I am not a part of that culture, I’m not from there. Whereas Camilla has that in her blood, so when we wrote the song we thought about her and sent it to her.”
Charli and Camila, 22, actually discussed the song whilst they were supporting Taylor Swift on her Reputation tour.
But Charli eventually concluded that Camila and Shawn should take ownership of the track.
She said: “We were on tour with Taylor together at the time, so we were talking about it a little bit.
“She wanted to do it with Shawn and they were talking about it, like it was just everyone having a long conversation about it. Obviously both of them write as well so they kind of wanted to write on the song and make it more their own.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa has teased a snippet of a new song called ‘Don’t Start Now’.
The 24-year-old pop superstar excited fans on Tuesday night (22.10.19) by sharing a clip of what appears to be the promo for the dance track, which has a disco-vibe to it, and sounds like it features instrumentation from Chic legend Nile Rodgers after she revealed they’ve spent time in studio together.
Alongside a video of Dua posing in a chair, she wrote on her social media channels: “Miss me?”
Earlier this month, Dua teased she is heralding a “new era” with her second album.
The ‘Hotter Than Hell’ singer has been working on the follow-up to her self-titled debut record, which was released in 2017, for several months and she’s been dying her hair different colours to signify the beginning of “DL2”.
She shared three selfies of her new look and wrote on her social media accounts: “A new era! Thank you for your patience. See you soon #DL2 (sic)”
On Instagram, Dua shared two plain black screens on either side of her post, which were captioned by the words “back” and “soon”, as well as black heart emojis, which has since been deleted with only posts relating to her new music now on her profile.
The ‘One Kiss’ singer recently promised the whole of her new album would be “a party”.
She said: “I feel like you could dance through the whole record. There’s lots of nos­tal­gic ele­ments to it. There’s a sam­ple in there from the 1930s. It’s just a party.”
The ‘New Rules’ hitmaker is moving on from the sound of her first album, and teased the new music is a change of direction, but doesn’t think that’s a “risky” move to have made.
She added: “It would prob­a­bly be risky if I wasn’t risky with the next record. I don’t think it would be as fun if I tried to recre­ate the first record. As an artist, you con­stant­ly want to grow and change your per­spec­tive and try some­thing new.”
Dua recorded “50 or 60” songs but “knew exactly” how she wanted the LP to sound.
The ‘New Rules’ singer said: “Before I started, I knew my album title. I knew exactly what I was going to be making. There are some songs that are happy, some about heart­break, some about deal­ing with your life in public.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson “can’t wait” for fans to hear his new single ‘We Made It’ on Thursday (24.10.19).
The former One Direction star has been teasing the track, which will be given its live premiere on SiriusXM at 8.30am, on Twitter and also revealed he’s listened back to his long-awaited debut solo album, ‘Walls’, which he promised will be “worth the wait”.
In a series of tweets this week, he wrote: “Can’t wait for Thursday! #WeMadeIt has its premiere on @SiriusXMHits1with
@MorningMashup at 8.30am ! … Listening through to the album again and I’m not gonna lie, it’s gonna be worth the wait! Cant wait for you all to hear.”
He then shared the release date in a GIF, which read: “Got a new mix for something for the album.
“WE MADE IT.
THURSDAY 24th OCTOBER (sic)”
So far Louis has released lead single ‘Two Of Us’ – which helped him with the grief of losing his mother Johannah Deakin – and ‘Kill My Mind’ from the record, which is scheduled for release in January 2020.
The singer recently described ‘Kill My Mind’ as a callback to the pop landscape when he was growing up listening to the likes of The Killers and Arctic Monkeys.
He said: “When I grew up, pop meant Arctic Monkeys, Oasis, The Killers and Amy Winehouse.
“Times change. Currently pop is very urban and street, which is not what I relate to. ‘Kill My Mind’ feels like a statement of intent. Sonically, it’s new for me and writing it was exciting.”
The new tune came from being young, “naughty” and “trying different things”.
He added: “It’s a loud, busy, rocky song that’s all about having fun. It’s about that experimental phase of your youth where you’re trying different things, some of which aren’t great for you but are definitely fun. It’s a song about being naughty.”
The ‘Just Hold On’ hitmaker was inspired by Liam Gallagher to bare his soul on the single.
He said: “I don’t like being clever for the sake of being clever. Sometimes it’s cool to read between the lines. My lyrical style, naturally, is to just be matter of fact, honest and sometimes blunt. I kind of shied away from writing that song because I didn’t really think I was ready to go through that process yet. I got into a session and we ended up getting into it, and it was going perfectly. I really did want to write this song, I was just intimidated because it had to be perfect.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson has admitted he never wanted One Direction to split up and he’ll be the first to say “yes” to a reunion.
The 27-year-old singer has confessed that whilst he and his former bandmates – Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Liam Payne – are having success with their solo careers at the moment, he wasn’t “ready” for them to go their separate ways and would jump at the chance to get the ‘History’ band back together.
In an interview with the Metro newspaper’s Guilty Pleasures column, he confessed: “I wasn’t really ready for the band to go on a break.
“As far as I am concerned, I am happy doing what I am doing.
“But the day that (a reunion) does happen, and everyone is ready to do it, I am ready.”
The ‘Kill My Mind’ hitmaker – who will release his debut solo album ‘Walls on January 31 – heaped praise on Niall, Harry and Liam’s music and said it’s great for their fans because they have a “One Direction member for every genre”.
He said: “I am really impressed with the boys’ stuff.
“Liam’s making great radio records.
“I love Niall’s new song and Harry’s is brilliant too, it’s got a great chorus.
“We are good musicians aren’t we? We’re alright.
“In terms of being a fan, the amazing thing about us all going off as individuals to make different music is there really is a One Direction member for your genre of music … that is kinda cool for fans.”
It seems Louis and Liam had very different opinions about 1D going on an indefinite hiatus.
The latter recently admitted his time as a “reclusive pop star” in One Direction “would have killed” him if he didn’t get out.
The ‘Story of My Life’ hitmakers split three years ago, and the 26-year-old singer – who admitted the band were “overworked” – revealed he lost track of his interests outside of that world.
He said: “We were definitely overworked. I had no personal life, I learnt nothing about myself.
“I remember getting to therapy and the guy was like, ‘What do you like to do?’ I haven’t got a clue.
“I just lived so long as this reclusive pop star who was afraid of people, who just stayed inside all the time. I needed to stop, definitely. It would have killed me.”
Whilst Niall believes he and his bandmates would have ended up “killing each other” if they carried on as a group.
The ‘Nice To Meet Ya’ singer admitted they were “knackered” after releasing five albums over five years and touring the world relentlessly, and although they never had any “major bust-ups”, he believes they would have come to blows eventually if they hadn’t gone on a break.
He admitted: “It was incredible. But we got tired. Not tired of it, just tired out. Five albums, five tours, in five years. We were all knackered. I can never really remember any major bust-ups, just brotherly family nagging, s****y arguments like that.
“But we were gonna end up killing each other.
“We all sat down one day, had a chat and it was like, we need to take a break. Step back, chill out and try something new.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ariana Grande has revealed her Nicki Minaj and Normani collaboration ‘Bad to You’ was meant to be with Dua Lipa.
The ‘7 Rings’ hitmaker took to Twitter to answer fans questions about the upcoming ‘Charlie’s Angels’ soundtrack – which also features her recent duet, ‘Don’t Call Me Angel’, with Lana Del Rey and Miley Cyrus – and revealed that she had recorded a version of the upcoming track with the ‘New Rules’ hitmaker which is “divine”.
However, Dua – who has been busy working on her second album – just didn’t have the time in her hectic schedule to complete the song so she ended up casting her regular collaborator Nicki and former Fifth Harmony star for the song.
Responding to a Twitter user who asked if ‘Bad to You’ is the same song as her rumoured Dua collaboration, Ariana said: “it is ! i loved our version so much as well. the timing didn’t align with her project (which i’m so very excited for) but they really wanted it for the film so we gave it a new “cast”. mani and nicki both of course killed it. it would have been fun w all of us! but it’s divine (sic)”
The soundtrack – which is released on November 1 – also sees Ariana duet with Chaka Khan and Victoria Monet on ‘Nobody’ and ‘Got Her Own’ respectively.
Meanwhile, the pop superstar insisted she is taking care of herself after she cancelled her meet and greets after suffering “a handful of panic attacks”.
In an email sent to those who were due to meet Ariana on her ‘Sweetener World Tour’, she wrote: “Hi my loves. Time for some honesty. My anxiety and depression have been at an all time high lately. I have been giving you all i’ve got and trying to push through as hard as I can and mask it. Today has been an extra rough one. After a handful of panic attacks, I feel like the wisest decision would be not to do sound check party or m&g today and preserve my energy for the show. I don’t want to rush through our time together or seem shaky. I like spending actual time with you and I won’t be able to be present or give you the best of me today. Anybody that had m&g or soundcheck will of course be fully reimbursed for this cancellation. i love you all. i’m so sorry. I promise i will give you the best show i can (sic)”
And when a fan asked her on Wednesday (23.10.19) if she was “resting” and spending time with her loved ones, she replied: “thank u my baby

OHMYGOSSIP — Kasabian are working on their seventh studio album.
The band’s guitarist Serge Pizzorno has confirmed the British rockers are working on new material – a follow up to 2017 record ‘For Crying Out Loud’ – after taking a break, and the ‘Club Foot’ hitmakers are hoping to “bring [the world] together” a bit more with their new music.
Serge – who worked on his solo project, The S.L.P, during the break – said: “Now feels like the right time. I’m back working on new Kasabian music and the world needs something to bring it together.”
The band – who will play a one-off show in their hometown of Leicester next June – are hoping their new tunes will bring some “healing” to the population.
Serge added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “The state of everything right now … we need some healing.
“As a personality I am a complex soul.”
The S.L.P – the initials of Serge’s full name, Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno – released its debut single ‘Favourites’ in May and a self-titled album in August.
The 38-year-old musician recently admitted he hoped his solo career could be as successful as Kasabian.
He said: “You have to consider there’s gonna be all these people in front of you so you have to deliver the goods.
“And in that headspace, if I pick up the guitar it’s violence and it’s raw, euphoria and togetherness.
“With The S.L.P I want to get to the same point, hit the same peak. But it’s delicate and rhythmic and a whole different approach.”
And he praised Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan for his support.
Serge said: “He’s been amazing. It’s testament to the love we have for each other that he’s just been pure positive and really happy for me to do it.
“And that’s huge because that conversation was ringing round my head. Telling people I wanted to do this but we were six albums in and that, without changing it somehow, all the amazing things you’ve done get overlooked.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix have cancelled their upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand.
The chart-topping girl group – which features Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson – made the announcement via their official Twitter account, explaining that they need to use the time in order to make new music.
The group shared: “We are really sad to announce that we have to cancel our upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour dates.
“We are so sorry for disappointing our fans who were coming to the shows.
“This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly but we have to use this time to focus on recording new music. Please contact your point of purchase for a full refund on tickets.”
The ‘Black Magic’ hitmakers – who were formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the ‘The X Factor’ in the UK – were scheduled to perform in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in December.
But a source close to the band claimed their schedule was changed in light of their recording commitments, as well as their involvement with the new BBC show ‘Little Mix The Search’.
The insider told MailOnline: “Auditions begin early next year with commitments throughout Spring, leaving no time for the band to record their upcoming sixth album.
“They had to choose between touring Australia or recording a new album, and after a lot of thought they decided that it would be better to record new music, and tour Australia later.
“They are gutted to cancel the Australian dates and let down the fans there, but hope they understand that this was their only window to record new music for 2020.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coldplay have revealed the track-listing for their upcoming double album ‘Everyday Life’ in local newspapers across the globe.
Chris Martin and co decided to make the low-key announcement in the classified ads section of the North Wales Daily Post, where guitarist Jonny Buckland, who grew up in Pantymwyn, North Wales, once worked, as well as Devon’s Express and Echo, in a nod to frontman Chris’ home city of Exeter, Devon, plus Australia’s Sydney Morning Herald, New Zealand’s Otago Daily Times and France’s Le Monde.
Sharing a link to the Daily Post’s article about the news, Jonny wrote on Coldplay’s Facebook and Twitter pages: “I once had a holiday job at the Daily Post, placing photos of houses for sale. I wasn’t very good at it. JB (sic)”
The ad was published alongside a fridge freezer for sale and a notice by the Welsh Government.
The 16-track LP, which is released on November 22, is composed of one half titled ‘Sunrise’, and the other is called ‘Sunset’.
Chris has also shared some details about the inspiration behind the record, which he says is the band’s “reaction to the perceived negativity that’s everywhere” and how important it is to take notice of the “great” things happening too.
In a preview from the 42-year-old singer’s interview on BBC Radio 1’s Future Sounds, which is aired tonight from 7.30pm, he shared: “It’s all about just being human.
“Every day is great and every day is terrible … It just feels kind of free.
“There’s so much life bursting out on the planet.
“[The album] is our reaction to the perceived negativity that’s everywhere.
“And there is a lot of trouble, but there’s also so much positivity and so much great life happening.
“So in a way, it’s just trying to make sense of things, saying what we feel and what we see.”
The British band started teasing details of their follow-up to 2015’s ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ by having posters put up in places including Berlin and Hong Kong.
The ‘Yellow’ hitmakers also sent letters out to fans, which teased that they were “working on a thing called Everyday Life”.
The note continued: “In the classifieds you might write ‘double album for sale, one very careful owner’.
“One half is called ‘sunrise’, the other half is called ‘sunset’. It comes out 22 November.
“It is sort of how we feel about things. We send much love to you from hibernation. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Hawkins has teased Foo Fighters are planning something big for their 25th anniversary alongside making a new record.
The ‘Learn to Fly’ hitmaker have been busy preparing their follow-up to 2017’s ‘Concrete and Gold’, which drummer Taylor previously revealed they hope to release in 2020, which is also their 25th year as a band.
Asked about their plans, the 47-year-old sticksman – who will release the long-awaited new Taylor Hawkins and the Coattail Riders album ‘Get The Money’ on November 8 – told Kerrang! magazine: “Well, it’s very possible.
“There’s a lot of talk.
“And I think Dave is already mapping out what he wants the next record to be, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s something coming down the pipe.
“I can’t 100 per cent spell it out for you for sure, because I’m always the last to know and I don’t want to give it away.
“But I would imagine there will be something made of the 25th year of the Foo Fighters, for sure. You know us, we never stop.”
Taylor recently revealed frontman Dave Grohl had “a lot of demos” to play with once they completed their shows in the UK, including headlining Reading and Leeds festivals in August.
He said: “Well, from what I’ve heard from our fearless leader Dave Grohl, he has a lot of demos that he’s worked on and I think we’ll start, once this tour is over. This little UK-ish run.
“I think not too soon after that we’ll start the process of putting the songs together as a band.”
On when he expects the new album to come out, he added:
“It’s a long process, we do a lot of demoing and stuff, but I think that we’ll have, I’m hoping, I think we’ll have a new record by next year. We should.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gary Numan never expected Tubeway Army’s ‘Replicas’ to take off.
The ‘Cars’ hitmaker’s new wave outfit’s 1979 record shot straight to the top of the charts, but the 61-year-old singer has admitted when they were recording the tracks he didn’t consider for one minute that any of them, let alone the whole LP, would stand a chance of being a commercial success.
Gary added how he felt the hit single ‘Are ‘Friends’ Electric?’ was “too long” and “had no chorus”.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph newspaper, he spilled: “I didn’t see any songs on there that were capable of being hit singles.
“There are no boxes ticked by ‘Are ‘Friends’ Electric?’ You can’t dance to it, it has no chorus, it’s too long…”
Tubeway Army dissolved after just two albums and, within six months, Gary put out his debut solo album, ‘The Pleasure Principle’, which gave him his third consecutive UK number one.
Gary has been prolific, releasing 18 studio solo albums over the past four decades, and has proved to anyone suffering from Aspergers syndrome – a form of autism – like he does, that anything is possible.
However, he revealed there are “dozens of things” that affect him, with even just the thought of entering a building petrifying him.
On how Aspergers affects his life and his relationship with his wife Gemma – who was one of his fans, who are known as Numanoids, back in the day – she said: “We didn’t have rows like normal person rows.”
Gary – who releases his next LP ‘Intruder’ in 2020 – explained: “I don’t like going into buildings … I used to have motorbikes, and [setting off on a ride] we’d say, we’re going to go to that little cafe.
“But the closer we got to it, the more I started to wind myself up – ‘she’s making me do it.’
“And then, by talking to me [she had to] try to figure out what had happened. And it wasn’t just cafes, it was dozens and dozens of things.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has confirmed his third solo album will be called ‘Come On You Know’.
The former Oasis star only dropped ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ a month ago, but he’s already chosen the title for its follow-up which is in the works.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music Beats 1 radio show, Liam – who launched his solo career in 2017 with ‘As You Were’ – spilled: “Yeah. The next one is going to be called ‘Come On You Know’, pure positive.
“Right legit.
“As soon as I get the titles man, we are off.”
Asked if the name was inspired by a paining like his latest record – which is named after two pieces of art given to him by idol John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono – he quipped: “I probably had a bit of something …
“Come on you know!”
Meanwhile, the ‘Shockwave’ hitmaker also admitted that the two things he misses the most about Oasis is the “paychecks” and his estranged brother Noel Gallagher.
Despite the pair being at war since the Britpop group split in 2009, Liam has nothing but “pure love” for his sibling and former bandmate.
He said: “It’s only Oasis when the both of us are there man.
“It’s nice man the gigs are good man.
“In England especially they’re going off just like they were when we were playing in Oasis there’s lots of fighting down the front there’s lots of flares going on just howI like it there there’s no one scratching their chins I’m getting that same vibe the only thing you’re missing is I guess the paychecks and me brother.
“Yeah of course I miss him being there.”
He added: “No but deep down I feel the same way all the way whether I’m digging him out or we’re having a crack at each other I adore him I love him he’s my brother, you can veer off and go ‘yeah he said that bit’ but the main core of it is pure love man.”
The ‘One of Us’ hitmaker recently admitted he believes Noel s “desperate” to reunite with him – but his wife Sara MacDonald “won’t let him”.
The siblings’ feud was taken up a level in June, when a war of words on social media was sparked when Noel shared a threatening message Liam had sent about Sara to the guitarist’s 19-year-old daughter Anais, telling his niece to warn her stepmother to be “very careful” after she mocked the former Oasis frontman ahead of his performance at Glastonbury Festival.
Liam, 47, has now given Noel, 53, the chance to settle their differences once and for all, but admitted he doesn’t think his spouse will allow them to.
The ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker tweeted this week: “We all have the ability to forgive n forget you’ve just got to want to and we all know your desperate to hang out with your little bro it’s just your Mrs won’t let ya oh well as you were LG x (sic)”
The younger Gallagher brother has been very vocal about his dislike for Sara in the last few years and he has cited her as a major contributing factor to the break-up of Oasis branding her a “witch” on numerous occasions.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa’s new single ‘Don’t Start Now’ is about “moving on”.
The 24-year-old pop star will launch her “new era” with the Nu-Disco dance track on November 1, and has revealed it’s about entering a new chapter in her life.
She explained in a statement: “I chose to put this song out first so I could close one chapter of my life and start another.
“Into a new era with a new sound! It’s about moving on and not allowing anyone to get in the way of that.
“It also felt like a natural first song choice as I made it with the brilliant same crew I made ‘New Rules’ with.”
Dua embarked on a “new chapter” in her love life in June, as she started dating model Anwar Hadid, following her split from on/off boyfriend Isaac Carew.
The ‘Electricity’ singer excited fans on Tuesday night (22.10.19) by sharing a clip of ‘Don’t Start Now’.
Alongside a video of Dua posing in a chair, she wrote on her social media channels: “Miss me?”
Earlier this month, Dua teased she is heralding a “new era” with her second album.
The ‘Hotter Than Hell’ singer has been working on the follow-up to her self-titled debut record, which was released in 2017, for several months and she’s been dying her hair different colours to signify the beginning of “DL2”.
She shared three selfies of her new look and wrote on her social media accounts: “A new era! Thank you for your patience. See you soon #DL2 (sic)”
The ‘One Kiss’ singer recently promised the whole of her new album will be “a party”.
She said: “I feel like you could dance through the whole record. There’s lots of nos­tal­gic ele­ments to it. There’s a sam­ple in there from the 1930s. It’s just a party.”
Dua also said she doesn’t consider her change of direction to be “risky”.
She added: “It would prob­a­bly be risky if I wasn’t risky with the next record. I don’t think it would be as fun if I tried to recre­ate the first record. As an artist, you con­stant­ly want to grow and change your per­spec­tive and try some­thing new.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cher has been honoured with an award for making her debut at The O2 arena in London.
The ‘Believe’ hitmaker played two nights at the 20,000 capacity venue on October 20 and 21 as part of her ‘Here We Go Again Tour’, her first shows in 14 years.
The music legend – who hadn’t played this side of the pond since the ‘Living Proof: The Farewell Tour’ in 2004 – treated fans to a show-stopping performance of all of her greatest hits and her ABBA renditions from her covers LP ‘Dancing Queen’, which was released last September, following her acclaimed appearance as Ruby Sheridan in the blockbuster movie ‘Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again’.
Christian D’Acuna, Head of Programming, The O2 said: “It was an honour to host the first Cher show in London since 2004, when The O2 wasn’t even in existence and it was well worth the wait!
“What a show, full of 50 years’ worth of hits, uncountable costume changes, multiple wigs and fascinating anecdotes.
“We hope she doesn’t leave it so long to return next time.
“Thank you to Marshall Arts for promoting the tour and of course to Cher, for an incredible couple of nights at The O2.”
Ahead of the shows it was reported that Cher had asked for a room just for her many wigs and costumes she wears throughout her set.
It was also claimed that she asked to have her water specifically served at 23.5 degrees centigrade and she also requested plenty more treats including champagne and chocolate.
A source said: “What Cher wants, she gets. The venues and caterers have been asked to provide white and milk chocolate fountains, a slush machine and mountains of sugar-free Red Bull and cans of Coca-Cola.
“Cher has also asked for bottles of chilled Moet & Chandon champagne, several bars of chocolate and, very specifically, Walkers Thai sweet chilli crisps.
“She has also ordered fruit platters and water, which must be 23.5C. Air con can be harsh on her voice so Cher wants it kept to a minimum. She also likes the backstage area to be relaxing and calming before she goes on stage. She has to get into the zone.”

OHMYGOSSIP — One Direction won’t return from their hiatus “for at least the next two years”.
That’s according to band member Liam Payne, who has also admitted he cannot ever see original member Zayn Malik returning to the group because he didn’t leave on “great terms” and he “didn’t want to be [there]”.
He said: “All I can say is, through album cycles and single cycles, I see everybody putting songs out at the moment , I don’t think for at least the next two years it’s going to happen.”
Asked if he could ever see Zayn going back to the band, he said: “I don’t think that’ll ever happen. When he left, it wasn’t on great terms so I don’t feel like it’s a thing. If he didn’t want to be here, he shouldn’t be here. Which is fine.
“Like I say good for him, he’s gone off and is doing his own thing and he’s doing really well so I don’t want to mess with his stuff… We did a whole stadium tour without him so I feel like it’s fine.
“I always feel like Zayn didn’t really feel being there, if that makes sense. We all had a good time.
“There were moments when it was absolute bliss but then obviously there were moments where it was like, ‘This is awful.’
“For him I just think there were more moments where he didn’t really enjoy what he was doing. Fair play to him, he went off and did his own thing and he’s doing really well.”
But the 26-year-old star admits he “misses” being in the band – also made up of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan – particularly when he is on stage on his own.
Liam said: “I definitely miss it, there’s different pressures these days. When it all relies on you, you kind of have to come up with everything and when you’re on stage, I haven’t got someone to turn around to.”
However, he insists the ‘Little Things’ hitmakers – who went on a self-imposed hiatus in January 2016 – “needed the break”.
Speaking on Saturday’s (26.10.19) ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’, he added: “It was a lot and in the end I do genuinely think we needed the break that we had because it was just getting too hectic.
“We would be at award shows and we’d win the most awards on the night and never see the afterparty because we’d be on a plane going somewhere else to do the next show… We were kids so it was pretty crazy.”
Liam will appear on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’ on Saturday at 10.10pm on ITV.
