OHMYGOSSIP — Tame Impala have confirmed their next album will be titled ‘The Slow Rush’.
The ‘Feels Like We Only Go Backwards’ hitmakers revealed on Instagram that their upcoming fourth studio venture will be called ‘The Slow Rush’, as they also shared a picture of the artwork for the record, which sees a red coloured room filled with sand.
The band simply captioned the image: “LP4”
The news was also confirmed in a video uploaded to the band’s website, which showed frontman Kevin Parker in the studio, live footage of the band and snippets of what seems to be new music.
Although the group have now put a title on their new record, the release date for the album is still unconfirmed, although it is believed to be planned for 2020.
‘The Slow Rush’ will be the follow-up to Tame Impala’s 2015 record ‘Currents’, and as of the time of writing, it’s unclear whether the two tracks released by the band earlier this year – ‘Borderline’ and ‘Patience’ – will be featured on the tracklist.
In May, Kevin revealed the five year wait between albums comes as he can’t “hurry” his creative process.
He said: “Part of the thing about me starting an album is that I have to feel kind of worthless again to want to make music.”
And the band also lost $40,000 worth of studio gear when it burst into flames during the California wildfire, after Kevin said he was “lucky” to have made it out of the studio alive, as he’d stayed to work on new music.
He explained: “I usually sleep a bit later, so it’s quite lucky that I woke up when I did.
“I didn’t know where else to go … At least I knew I could jump in the water.
“I stood and watched the flames burning the hillside for an hour.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez is determined not to “let [herself] down”.
The 27-year-old pop star has teased a song on her upcoming album, revealing the track will touch upon some of the valuable life lessons she’s learned over the last couple of years.
She told ‘The Zach Sang Show’: “There’s a song that I basically said I can’t let myself let me down.
“I wanted to kind of interpret that as every time I feel bad, I always end up going into this spiral. And I just feed it. And I’ve learned over the years to take a step back from that and try to rewire your thoughts so that you’re more focused on what it’s gonna turn into.
“One of the worst moments of my life ended up being the biggest blessing of my life.”
Meanwhile, Selena recently insisted she “can’t be unauthentic”.
The chart-topping singer – who has touched on her own relationship heartbreak in her new single, ‘Lose You to Love Me’ – insisted she couldn’t write a song that didn’t chime with her real-life self.
Reflecting on her new single, Selena – whose track is rumoured to be about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber – explained: “I wrote this song over a year ago. It’s obviously a very emotional song for me.
“It’s interesting to see how far I’ve come from that point to now. Me sharing my story is exactly what I’ve always done. I can’t be unauthentic. I can’t pretend that I’m not going through something when it’s obvious that I had been.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Springsteen’s love of cars has helped to power his lyrics.
The 70-year-old singer has an expansive collection of cars, and Springsteen’s deep-rooted appreciation for the vehicles has helped to inspire some of his best-known work.
Speaking to the Sunday Times newspaper, Springsteen explained: “[Cars] continue to be, for me, resonant and romantic and I think the idea of a journey is always compelling to people.
“The image of driving is just very evocative for people. It’s a geography that I like to say all people carry inside them. Those images are images that people have internalised through films and travel over the years.”
Meanwhile, Springsteen recently admitted he feels relieved that he’s managed to retain his “mojo” as a songwriter.
The chart-topping star said that over the last five years, he’s produced some of the best work of his legendary career.
Bruce – whose most-recent album is called ‘Western Stars’ – shared: “At 70, you appreciate the vitality of your creative life. I think I’ve had five years where I’ve done some of the best work I’ve ever done, the past five years, the book, the play, the film, this record, that’s very exciting, you know.
“To be doing, where I’m at now because people do lose their mojo, they lose interest or you never know when you’re gonna write well again.
“You know it’s a mystery, but I stay very curious about the world and I’m curious about my own talent and where I can take that and so that keeps you alive and vital and the creative fire burning inside of you pretty brightly so I’m fortunate.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Motorhead’s Mikkey Dee and Phil Campbell have been added to the band’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination ballot after voicing their disappointment at not being included.
The heavy metal band’s late frontman Lemmy Kilmister, guitarist ‘Fast’ Eddie Clarke and sticksman Phil Taylor were posthumously nominated for the class of 2020, and longstanding band drummer Mikkey responded by saying he was “very disappointed” that after 25 years of service in the ‘You Better Run’ group that he and guitarist Phil were not going to be honoured if they are selected to be inducted.
He fumed earlier this week “That is pure wrong, I would say, and I know Phil will be very disappointed, too.
“We’ve been carrying the flag for 25 years together, and actually brought MOTÖRHEAD to what it was.
“We did 25 years out of the 40.
“The original band lasted just a few years.
“They started it off, but as Lemmy said himself they wouldn’t have lasted another six months doing that lineup.
“I don’t think we would’ve been where we are today without the 25 years we spent touring.”
However, that has all changed after the pair and their fans protested.
A statement issued to Motorhead’s Twitter page on Sunday (20.10.19) reads: “Thanks to everyone who spoke up loudly.
“Thanks to the #ROCKHALL2020 for listening and adding Phil & Mikkey.
“All for one and one for all! #motörhead

Mikkey and Phil were still planning to attend the ceremony and play the prestigious event in March next year even without being listed originally.
The former joined the ‘Ace of Spades’ hitmakers in 1992 in the place of Phil – who died of live failure in November 2015 – and made his debut on 1993 album ‘Bastards’ and was in the group until Lemmy’s death in December 2015.
Phil joined in 1984 and recorded a total of 16 Motorhead albums, starting with 1986’s ‘Orgasmatron’.
Meanwhile, Whitney Houston, the Notorious B.I.G., Soundgarden, Dave Matthews Band, Pat Benatar, Judas Priest, Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk are also among the 2020 nominees.
The are joined by The Doobie Brothers, MC5, Nine Inch Nails, T.Rex, Thin Lizzy, Todd Rundgren and Rufus featuring Chaka Khan.
An international voting body of more than 1,000 artists, historians and members of the industry will have their say.
Fans will also get to vote at rockhall.com, in person at the Museum in Cleveland, or by searching “Rock Hall Fan Vote” or any nominee name and “vote” on Google.
The top five artists chosen by the public will make up a “fans’ ballot” which will be counted along with other ballots to select the 2020 inductees.
To be inducted, an artist has to have released their first official recording at least 25 years ago.
The final list will be announced in January next year, with the induction ceremony itself following on March 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bring Me The Horizon have confirmed ‘Black Panther’ star Forest Whitaker features in their new music video for ‘In The Dark’.
Frontman Oli Sykes – who is a huge sci-fi lover – has revealed he has made his directional debut for the promo, which is due to be released today (21.10.19), and thanked the Oscar-winner for “putting his trust” in him as he admitted it was a challenging process.
Alongside a behind-the-scenes clip from the video, Oli wrote on Instagram: “Tomorrow I get to show you guys my directorial debut for @bringmethehorizon & sorta threw myself in the deep end.. I only just finished the edit & have no sense of anything anymore.. A very special thanks to #ForestWhitaker for putting his trust in me & @brian_c0x for assisting me in pulling this off. The sound I make at the end of this video kinda sums it all up.. BTS shot by @sevenpoints.uk (sic)”
It’s no surprise that the Hollywood legend signed up for the gig, as his daughter Sonnet, 23, is a huge fan of the British rock band, and he even attended their show in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2017, with her.
‘In The Dark’ is the latest single from the band’s number one album ‘amo’.
Meanwhile, fans are still waiting to hear the ‘Sleepwalking’ hitmakers’ collaboration with Halsey.
Both shared a clip of the ‘Without Me’ hitmaker in the recording booth laying down some vocals on Twitter back in July.
After finishing her take, she can be heard asking: “Can we do it again? I’m gonna faint.”
BMTH’s programmer Jordan Fish then asked: “That sounds so cool. Is it too crazy?”
And the pop star replied: “No it’s sick. Let’s go. Come on.”
The ‘Nightmare’ singer has previously defended her love of emo bands like Bring Me The Horizon as a pop artist.
The US star revealed herself as a fan of the popular rock band’s music video for ‘medicine’ in January, and was met with a response from a less than impressed social media user.
Halsey had tweeted: “BMTH is rly THAT band. (sic)”, to which the person with the handle @samdispute replied: “Halsey is the girl from high school that made fun of u for listening to ‘screamo’ and then 3 yrs later calls herself emo cuz she listens to the story so far (sic)”
The 25-year-old star then declared that she has been “emo since the dawn of time” and that she hasn’t suddenly become a fan of Oli and co – who have headed in a more pop-influenced direction in recent times – as she saw them perform a decade ago.
She replied: “if this is about my bmth tweet I saw them live for the first time in 2009.
“ur obviously new around here if u dont know that I was an emo since the dawn of time. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher is up for recording the Bond theme for ‘No Time To Die’.
The 47-year-old rocker has admitted he would be more than happy to perform the soundtrack for Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 in the blockbuster spy thriller franchise.
He told Ireland’s Today FM: “The new James Bond one, it’s all about dying innit.
“Die not next week, can’t be a***d dying today, might die f*****g next month, there’s a lot of death going on.
“But you know they can give us a call, why not.”
The former Oasis star has already had his song ‘One of Us’ featured in hit BBC One drama ‘Peaky Blinders’ and he says he can see his song ‘Gone’ in a Quentin Tarantino movie.
And although he admitted he doesn’t make music for it to be featured in films, the ‘For What It’s Worth’ hitmaker – who released his second solo album ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ in September – would happily offer up his tunes if asked.
He said: “‘Gone’ is a top tune, I could see that in a Tarantino film.
“If I could work with anyone?
“Tarantino, he’s pretty good, isn’t he.
“There’s a lot of him in ‘Gone’.
“But we don’t write music to go, ‘Right let’s put it in a film,’ but if people pick up on it then they’re welcome to it.
“A lot of people are a bit shy about being great, a lot of people call it arrogance if you big yourself, I think that’s a crime.”
Several names have been thrown around for the Bond gig, including Ed Sheeran, whose manager Stuart Camp recently revealed the ‘Perfect’ hitmaker is still “open” to making the theme song.
However, he claimed the franchise’s producer Barbra Broccoli and her team don’t hold discussions for the job until much later on.
He said: “We met [Bond producer] Barbara Broccoli when we played Dublin [in 2017] and they were interested.
“Danny Boyle was attached to the film after that, who made ‘Yesterday’ [which featured Sheeran], so there was a close connection there.
“Obviously they changed directors but we’re still open to it, but they’re not even having those conversations yet.”
Ed previously revealed that he wrote a Bond theme a few years ago “just in case”.
Meanwhile, Dua Lipa’s name has also come up, and although she denied the rumours, she said she would be up for it.
Whilst Sam Smith and Adele, who already performed 2015’s ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ for ‘Spectre’ and 2012’s ‘Skyfall’ respectively, have also been rumoured to take on the job one again.
‘No Time To Die’ is scheduled for release on April 3, 2020.

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake has teased a collaboration with Haim.
The ‘Man of the Woods’ star took to social media to reveal he is in the studio with the ‘Want You Back’ trio – siblings Este, Danielle and Alana Haim.
He captioned a photo: “Late nights with the squad (sic)”
Meanwhile, Justin recently revealed he has teamed up with ‘Juice’ hitmaker Lizzo on a brand new song, which he insists is “flames”.
He said: “I was like, ‘I’m such a fan if you ever want to write,’ and she thought I was lying. And we got in and we got a couple of ideas – I don’t know when they’re gonna come out but they’re pretty good. It’s flames, it’s so good.
“To be honest, I just called my publishers and I said, ‘You know, I just want to work with young, fresh people and I want to collaborate more. I’ve been songwriting and producing for so long, I want to experience that energy and I want to work with people that I think are truly amazing. I’m having these experiences that are fuelling me in such a different way and, again, I think it was really birthed out of feeling like, ‘What can I do right now to just be a part of my community and integrate?'”
Justin admitted he is also keen to work with Drake again.
They previously teamed up for the track ‘Cabaret’ – which appeared on Justin’s 2013 album ‘The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2’ – and he had already “talked about” reuniting on a follow-up.
He added: “I love ‘Scorpion’, I think it literally just like answered anything. We’ve talked about [collaborating again] a lot. I don’t wanna say too much because I don’t wanna jinx it, but we’ve talked about it a lot.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Boyzone weren’t as “squeaky clean” as some people might think.
The Irish boyband – comprised of Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham – will pull the curtain on their 26-year career following five shows at the London Palladium this week, which conclude on Friday night (25.10.19).
And the band – which also featured Stephen Gately until his tragic death at the age of 33 in 2009 – have admitted they were more rock ‘n’ roll than most rock stars in their heyday.
Keith, 45, told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “The perception of rock stars is that they’re all about sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, and a boyband is all pretty boys, who are squeaky clean. That was completely f***ing wrong. We were more honest.
“If you look at a rock band, they’ve got long hair that’s permed — how are they cooler than us?
“We had shaved heads and were in the bar until six o’clock in the morning.”
Ronan, 42, agreed and told his bandmate: “I’m sure you put a few rock stars to bed over the years and stayed up afterwards.”
The ‘Love Me For A Reason’ hitmakers recalled the time they were playing Amsterdam and a fan attached themselves to their people carrier’s spare wheel – and admitted they have no idea what happened to her.
Keith remembered: “We came out of a stage door in Amsterdam and got into one of those American Chrysler-style people carriers that have the spare wheel connected to the back door.
“We were ushered through screaming kids and into the van. But as we drove down the road, the scream wasn’t fading. One of the fans had jumped on to the spare wheel on the back of the van and the scream kept on going and going and going.
“It was only after a while we realised, ‘Hang on, that scream’s not going anywhere’ . . . until the van driver took a sharp right turn and the scream disappeared.
“We never found out what happened to her. That was pretty f*****g crazy.”
The shows might not be the last we hear of the four-piece, as they have expressed their desire to follow in the footsteps of Queen and Sir Elton John by having their own musical biopic made about them, after ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Rocketman’ proved a huge hit at the box office.
Mikey, 47, admitted: “There’s a great movie in it, there really is, honest to God. There’s so much to it. There is a huge story.”
Shane, 43, teased: “It is the concept of five boys growing up, different individual characters, how we came together, then everybody knows what happens next.”
As well as their 25th anniversary tour and album, the band also released final LP ‘Thank You & Goodnight’ in November.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lana Del Rey had “exhausted” her “bigger sounds” and came close to calling it quits before releasing her 2011 hit ‘Video Games’.
The ‘Doin’ Time’ singer has opened up about the creatively challenging time she had before finding her “own style” on the single from her second studio album, ‘Born to Die’.
She told the latest issue of Q magazine: “I was at the tail end of 600 days of writing in London, back-to-back days, with about 111 writers.
“I was writing for others too.
“I wasn’t really sure what I was doing, I’d kind of exhausted my bigger sounds.
“I was at the point where I had written in every style but my own.
“Now I had.”
The track was named Song of the Decade at the Q Awards last week, and Lana admitted it was “unreal” to be recognised with the special accolade.
In a video message screened at the ceremony in London, she said: “I’m so honoured. This is unreal.
“I just can’t tell you how much this means.
“I got my start in London so I wish I could be there, but I’m there in spirit.”
The 34-year-old star has certainly found her niche and has never been more prolific.
Shortly after releasing her album ‘Norman F***ing Rockwell’ in August, Lana announced she will release another new record, ‘White Hot Forever’, in 2020.
She said: “I’ve already written parts of it.
“It’s called ‘White Hot Forever’.
“I feel like it probably will be a surprise release sometime within the next 12 or 13 months.
“I’m really excited right now. I don’t want to take a break.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Cinnamon Girl’ singer also discussed the wave of honest artists coming through, like 17-year-old pop phenomenon Billie Eilish, who aren’t afraid to sing about sadness, and admitted she feels she paved the way for modern pop stars who have “a little bit more thoughtfulness” in their lyrics.
She said: “She’s so sweet and very prodigious.
“The culture is catching up to how people really are. People aren’t always cheerful 24/7. They have losses and things they go through things. I like to think I had a part in it, in opening that door for a little bit more . . . thoughtfulness.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has confirmed his new album ‘Jesus Is King’ will finally be released on Friday (25.10.19).
The ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper took to Twitter on Monday (21.10.19) to share a graphic of the vinyl copy of the album and to let fans know when they can get their hands on a copy of the record.
He simply wrote: “JESUS IS KING” OCT 25th (sic)”
Kanye borrows from “religious texts” for the lyrics on his long-awaited LP.
The 42-year-old rapper has been hosting a Sunday Service, which features a gospel choir and other musical performances, since January, and his ninth studio album continues to document his Christian beliefs and also sees him address the state of the world and society’s obsessions with social media.
The track ‘Water’ sees Kanye – who has children North, six, Saint, three, Chicago, 20 months, and Psalm, four months, with reality star Kim Kardashian West – claim that humans are made up of 90 per cent water, 30 per cent less than scientists believe.
Whilst on ‘Closed On Sunday’, he asks people to “put the ‘gram away”, despite his wife using the app as an income.
On ‘LA Monster’, the hip-hop superstar hits out at Los Angeles – where he lives a life of luxury with his family – for “lettin’ Satan run they streets (sic)”
He raps: “It’s the ugliest nightmare born from the prettiest dreams; millions of people trying to get on the scene; and everyone selling their souls, everyone saying they woke, but they sleepwalking, dead, eyes closed.”
Elsewhere, ‘Hands On’ appears to be Kanye asking for another chance after he previously controversially suggested slavery was a “choice” before apologising last May.
He belts out: “Thirteenth amendment, three strikes/ Made a left, when I should’ve made a right.”
Nicki Minaj is believed to have been dropped from the song ‘New Body’, with only Ty Dolla $ign appearing on the track.
Kanye was set to release his new album on September 27, but his wife Kim revealed that her husband was still working on the final mixes for the project and would likely release it after listening sessions, which took place in Detroit and Chicago last month.
She wrote in an Instagram Story post: “Kanye is doing a listening session in Chicago tomorrow, then NYC Sunday. He’s dropping the album Sunday. Just a few final tweaks to the mixes.”
Kanye is accompany the record with a film of the same name, premiering exclusively in IMAX cinemas in the UK on October 25.

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan will release his second studio album in early 2020.
The 26-year-old singer is “ready to go” with the record – a follow up to his 2017 debut album ‘Flicker’ – after recording 60 songs, but he still needs to cut the tunes down to a respectable number.
He said: “The album’s not coming out until maybe January, February, something like that … March next year, you know, with the whole roll out of singles and going to do promo all over the world and such things.
“So, let the label do their thing, but I’m ready to go!
“I’ll condense the songs down to that particular number in the coming weeks when I spend a bit more time with it.”
Niall has managed to scrap more than 40 tunes, but is stilling hoping to whittle his song selection down to around 14 or 15 before his new record comes out.
He added to Hits Radio: “I’ve cut it down to about … I’ve written about 60 songs.
“I’ve got it to 19, and then obviously … no-one wants to hear a 19-track album!
“It’s a lot of songs to listen to – I’m fine with maybe 14, 15, somewhere in that region, I don’t mind that. I have time.”
The One Direction star recently dropped the album’s first single, ‘Nice To Meet Ya’, and he took just one day to write the track.
He recently said: “For the second album, I got less time with him because I’d been touring and it was hard to get in together. But we got two days. We did the single on the first day and then we did another song on the second day. ‘Nice To Meet Ya’, it gives me 2000s rock, Kasabian/Arctic Monkeys vibes, which I think will be very popular.
“To now have the single, I am just so happy because there is something magic … I truly believe there is something magic when we write together. It was a really special day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX knew singing ‘Senorita’ wasn’t “in her blood” – even though she helped to pen the track.
The 27-year-old star was an instrumental figure behind the chart-topping single – but she ultimately resisted the temptation to sing on the song because she doesn’t have the necessary “Latin Pop flare”, unlike her co-writers Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello.
Charli told 103.3 AMP Radio in Boston: “I knew immediately the song wasn’t for me, but that it was good.
“This Latin Pop flare just wasn’t right for who I am because I am not a part of that culture, I’m not from there. Whereas Camilla has that in her blood, so when we wrote the song we thought about her and sent it to her.”
Charli and Camila, 22, actually discussed the song whilst they were supporting Taylor Swift on her Reputation tour.
And Charli eventually concluded that Camila and Shawn should take ownership of the track.
Speaking about the single – which reached the number-one position on the US Billboard Hot 100 – she recalled: “We were on tour with Taylor together at the time, so we were talking about it a little bit.
“She wanted to do it with Shawn and they were talking about it, like it was just everyone having a long conversation about it. Obviously both of them write as well so they kind of wanted to write on the song and make it more their own.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Who’s musical ‘Tommy’ is returning to Broadway.
The upcoming run of the acclaimed rock opera, which is comprised of music and lyrics by the iconic rock group’s songwriter and guitarist Pete Townshend, will be directed by Des McAnuff – who was in charge of the original production between 1993 and 1995.
He said: “‘Tommy’ combines myth and spectacle in a way that truly soars. The key question with any musical is ‘Does the story sing?’ and this one most certainly does.”
The show tells the story about a “deaf, dumb and blind boy”, who “becomes lost in the universe”, and McAnuff says the tale couldn’t be more fitting today.
He said: “Tommy is the antihero ground zero.
“He is the boy who not only rejects adulthood like Holden Caulfield in ‘The Catcher In The Rye’, but existence itself.
“He becomes lost in the universe as he stares endlessly and obsessively into the mirror at his own image.
“This gives our story a powerful resonance today as it seems like the whole world is staring into the black mirror.
“The story of Tommy exists all too comfortably in the 21st century. In fact, time may finally have caught up to Tommy Walker.”
The schedule for the new dates and a venue is yet to be revealed.
In June, The Who’s ‘Tommy Orchestral’ album was released to mark its 50th anniversary.
The band’s frontman Roger Daltrey toured the seminal 1969 LP ‘Tommy’, which the opera is based on, in full with his band and local orchestras across America last summer, and they released the record featuring the timeless music of Pete for the milestone.
The new orchestration featured on the classic record was directed by renowned composer and arranger David Campbell – who has worked with music royalty including Adele, Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Metallica, Carole King and his son Beck.
‘Tommy’ was recorded live between Bethel in upstate New York – the home of the first Woodstock Festival – and Budapest, five decades ago, and was produced by Roger and Keith Levenson, who worked on the ‘Tommy Musical’.
Roger’s live band is comprised of Pete’s younger brother, guitarist-and-vocalist Simon Townshend, Frank Simes (guitar), Scott Devours (drums), Jon Button (bass), and Loren Gold (keys).
The ‘Baba O’Riley’ group had said that their Teenage Cancer Trust show at The Royal Albert Hall in 2017 would be the final full performance of ‘Tommy’, however, they have continued to play parts of the opera on their current ‘Moving On! Tour’ with a full symphony orchestra.

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell are “deep” into the creative process of her second album.
The 17-year-old pop phenomenon only released her record-breaking debut LP ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ in March, but her sibling and collaborator has revealed they’ve already have come up with plenty of ideas for the follow-up whilst on the road.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on his Apple Music Beats 1 radio show, Finneas spilled: “I’m writing the album now and I think the album’s all new.
“I think it’ll mirror ‘When We All Fall Asleep…’ in that sense that the EP had ‘Ocean Eyes’ and ‘Bellyache’ and then the album was just only album songs and no re-releases so we’re excited about that one.
“We’re deep into the creative process on new material for sure.
“I think when ‘Don’t Smile at Me’ came out … And ‘Don’t Smile at Me’ came out August of ’17 and the album came out in March 29th of 2019, right?
“But you know, we were percolating that whole time and probably even before the EP was done, ‘I Wish You Were Gay’ is a song that was written during the recording of ‘Don’t Smile at Me’.
“So we always kind of have these crossover things.
“But I think the main point of this was that this is an album that we really love to play live and it’s continued to grow and that’s been a great blessing and we’re just excited to play a year on this album that really services this record.”
Finneas – who produced the first record – used to be “scared” about working whilst on tour – but now that his sister has a huge team running the ship now, he’s able to work on music without any “distractions”.
He added: “Also I think the benefit is that because I have found real success in creating while on the road, it doesn’t scare me as much the way that I think it used to.
“When we were touring really small scale, your day is so like intense and focused on putting on the show because you’re doing everything yourself.
“And I think now that we have such a wonderful expanded team, it allows me to basically wake up in the morning and I have a studio road case in my dressing room and I roll in there and I work for six hours.
“And there’s not even the distractions of home to stop me from working.”

OHMYGOSSIP — McFly’s Danny Jones says the band “should” follow in the footsteps of Billie Eilish and make their upcoming tour eco-friendly.
The ‘bad guy’ hitmaker is making it possible for fans to bring reusable bottles by having refill stations at her shows and Danny thinks it would be a good idea for them to do the same, especially as bassist Dougie Poynter – who recently released his first standalone children’s book titled ‘Plastic Sucks!’, which aims to teach kids about the harmful effect that plastic is having on the world’s oceans – is vocal about his love of nature and the need for environmental change.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Danny said: “I think that we should [follow Billie’s example] at our gigs:
“I’m sure Dougie will be all over that.”
Dougie Poynter recently had a turtle named after him in honour of his new eco-book.
The ‘Obviously’ hitmaker carried out research on the impact of plastic on sea life, and the 31-year-old star bonded with a Green Sea Turtle at SEA LIFE London Aquarium, and in commemoration his s tome – which was released last month – the turtle was renamed Dougie.
SEA LIFE hoped the renaming would encourage Dougie’s fans to help protect similar species living in the wild, and the organisation also installed a blue plaque in honour of Dougie the Turtle, in order to help donations to the SEA LIFE Trust’s rescue and rehabilitation programmes around the world.
The ‘Love Is Easy’ hitmaker said: “I feel so honoured to have this beautiful turtle named after me. Visiting the amazing sea creatures at the London Aquarium to research my book has been awesome and Dougie the Turtle has become my new favourite ocean buddy. I hope Plastic Sucks! helps encourage the next generation to think about doing simple things to protect turtles like him from plastic pollution being put into our seas every day.”
The pop band – completed by Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd – kick off play London’s The O2 arena on November 20.
They will then play a total of 11 shows in 11 different towns and cities throughout the end of April and beginning of May, hitting locations including Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Brighton, London, Birmingham, and Nottingham.

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher felt like he was working “for” his brother Noel Gallagher in Oasis.
The ‘Some Might Say’ group’s former frontman has claimed the 52-year-old guitarist would “hog the f***ing studio”, and because Liam didn’t have much creative “input” with their songs and was just the voice of the band, he has found getting to be a solo artist and being in control of his output a better experience.
Asked if working on his own music is “the next best thing” to being in Oasis, Liam admitted: “Without a doubt. But saying that, it wasn’t working with Noel; we never had a working relationship.
“He’d go in and hog the f***ing studio for weeks and then he’d go, ‘Look, here’s a song, sing it like this’, and I’d get in and I’d make it me own.
“So we never had much debate about lyrics or melodies or this.
“I much prefer to work this way than what I did with Noel because he’d go in and do it all himself and it felt like we were working for him. I much prefer this way. I’ve got a lot more input.”
The 47-year-old rocker has released two chart-topping solo records, 2017’s ‘As You Were’ and ‘Why Me? Why Not’, and says ever since Oasis, he’s always had “big” ambitions and has “no time” for being “underground”.
He told website MusicFeeds.com.au: “I think big and I sing big.
“Bowie wrote some great tunes, The Beatles, the Stones.
“I’ve got no time to be underground – f*** that s*** – and even if I wanted to be underground I can’t be.
“The genie bottle is open.
“You might as well just embrace it.
“But I felt that even when Oasis first started – we wanted to climb the f***ing mountain, we wanted to see what was over the other side. We wanted to kiss the sky.”
The ‘One of Us’ hitmaker launched Beady Eye with bandmates Andy Bell and Gem Archer with drummer Chris Sharrock in the wake of the ‘Supersonic’ rockers’ demise in 2009, but after releasing two albums, ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ and ‘BE’, they disbanded in October 2014.
Liam says he knows what it feels like when people lose interest in your music from being in Beady Eye and is “lucky” he has a loyal fanbase who continue to come to his shows.
Asked if he’s worried that one day people might no longer be interested in his music, he said: “I had that with Beady Eye. You can only do what you do.
“If your best ain’t good enough then so be it.
“I get it, people grow up, people’s priorities change.
“They’re not just sitting there following people around.
“They have children, people lose jobs, people lose members of their family.
“The last thing on their mind is some f***ing geezer in a parka putting out records.
“So I get it, but I’m lucky that I’ve got the love again and people are still coming to my concerts.
“All I know is I did my best on this record and the last gig I did my best, and that is it.”
