OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams is heading back to Las Vegas in 2020 for a second residency.
The ‘Angels’ hitmaker has announced he’s set to return to Sin City for eight more shows at Wyn Las Vegas’ Encore Theater between March 24 and April 4, following 16 sell-out ‘Live In Las Vegas’ performances at the venue earlier this year.
He said: “I’m so excited to be returning to Las Vegas for new residency dates next year.
“To have my own run of Vegas shows was a real dream come true and I can’t wait to come back.”
Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, added: “Robbie Williams is coming back to where he belongs – Las Vegas.
“Robbie’s personality and style are as unique as this town and we couldn’t be happier to have him back at Wynn. “Robbie packed the house every night with audience members from near and far.
“Whether they had seen him one time or one hundred times, the crowd all had one thing in common: They loved the show!”
The former Take That star admitted at his debut show that it was one of the most important shows of his career.
He told the crowd: “I can’t remember the last time a gig meant this much to me. There’s a magic here, right?”
And he also joked of his plans to break America with his residency, as he wants ‘Friends’ actress Jennifer Aniston to know who he is.
He added: “I want to be famous in America. I want Jennifer Aniston to know who I am.”
The ‘Rock DJ’ hitmaker described the gig as a “dream come true”.
He said at the time: “I’m beyond excited to announce my first ever residency in Las Vegas. To follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest entertainers of all time is a dream come true – I can’t wait.”
As well as performing his own hits, the 45-year-old entertainer also took on renditions of classics by Dean Martin, Neil Diamond, Radiohead, and even Shaggy’s ‘It Wasn’t Me’.
Tickets for the Vegas shows go on sale on November 21 from 7am (PT).

OHMYGOSSIP — Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis has vowed to make the festival’s line-up “as close to” 50/50 gender-balanced as possible.
Worthy Farm’s 50th anniversary edition next year will see Diana Ross perform on the Sunday afternoon Legend’s slot, and Emily has promised there will be plenty more females on the bill, though she claimed there aren’t as many headline-worthy women as their are male to pick from.
She told Music Week magazine: “It’s important we go as close to 50-50 as we can.
“It’s as important to have females on the bill as much as men but the pool – certainly on the headliner front – is not as big.
“So we have to work on that as an industry and nurture all these women coming through.”
Emily previously claimed that she and her father Michael Eavis – who share the task of overseeing the line-up – were keen to address the gender “imbalance” of artists on the bill on the main stage by targeting a huge list of big stars that they are keen to get involved.
She said: “Every booking Glastonbury make is conscious, we’re trying to address the imbalance.
“We’ve got a way to go, there are areas of the festival that have
50/50 (gender representation) like The Park last year.
“But The Pyramid obviously isn’t and we’re working on it.”
Meanwhile, in other Glastonbury-related news, Biffy Clyro called Fleetwood Mac “cheeky b*****ds” this week for turning down the world famous extravaganza.
The ‘Many of Horror’ rockers can’t believe the legendary group have snubbed an offer to headline the 50th anniversary of the iconic Worthy Farm event in June 2020 over money.
Frontman Simon Neil said: “Look at Fleetwood Mac. There’s not enough money for them, those cheeky b*****ds!
“It is such a shame isn’t it? It’s not in the spirit of Glastonbury, it’s not about the money. If the Rolling Stones can do it, Kanye did it, U2, and you’re telling me Fleetwood Mac can’t? F*** it, no way.”
Emily has ruled out the ‘Go Your Own Way’ hitmakers from making an appearance, and an insider previously claimed the money on offer was the issue.
The source said: “Michael Eavis is a huge fan and really, really wanted to make it work. He knew getting them on board for the 50th anniversary would be extra special and conversations were positive.
“They even hinted at it on stage when they played Wembley in June, joking to fans they still had, ‘a big field to play at a rained-out festival in England next year’.
“But ultimately, while Mick Fleetwood was up for it with the money on offer, other members didn’t feel it was worthwhile.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Louis Tomlinson has branded One Direction’s music “vague” and “less personal” to his solo material.
The 27-year-old pop star has admitted he is much more proud of his own music because it comes from a “real” place.
Louis is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column as saying: “Being in a band like One Direction, and the type of band that we were and where we came from, it’s not real life even in the music industry.
“You’re aiming for as many No1s you possibly can, the ­biggest choruses you can ­possibly get, the biggest deals, everything is on such a ­massive scale.
“The One Direction stuff wasn’t straight forward, but an element of it was because you’re doing songs that are relatively vague so it fits into four or five personalities and it’s automatically less personal.”
The ‘Kill My Mind’ singer – who releases his debut solo album ‘Walls’ on January 31, 2020 – added how important it is to him that his songwriting is relatable.
He continued: “So when I sat down and I listened to my album when it was finished I felt super proud because I know how long and how many little things I’ve changed throughout the way.
“My lyrics are real, and relatable as I can be.
“Lyrics are important to me so I’m happy my words can make people feel something.”
The ‘History’ hitmaker – who was joined by Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and previously Zayn Malik in the group – recently admitted boy band stars are victims of “snobbery”.
Louis believes it’s especially tough to make the transition from being a boy band member to a credible rock ‘n’ roll star.
He explained: “I think you’ve just got to kind of earn your stripes as an artist, and be honest and be real – and whoever likes you, great.
“Whoever doesn’t … well, it is what it is, I suppose.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry is set to perform at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final.
The ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ hitmaker has announced the one-off performance at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia on March 8, 2020.
She wrote on Instagram: “Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi! Let’s break some records – join me in Melbourne on March 8, 2020 for the ICC @T20WorldCup Women’s Final. We’ll Roar in support of these awesome women on International Women’s Day! Ticket link in Stories (sic)”
The concert will mark the US pop superstar’s first in the country since 2018’s ‘Witness: The Tour’.
In May, Katy revealed that there are no plans to head out on tour because “one thing suffers” if she tries to combine both parts of her job.
She said: “I don’t really want to go on tour right now. I can’t make a record while I’m on the road because one thing suffers.”
Katy added that the music industry has changed a lot in the past 11 years, and it’s not the same as it was when she brought out her 2008 debut album ‘One Of The Boys’.
The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer explained: “I feel a little bit like 2008 was a time, and now 2019 is a totally different time, and all of the change that has happened in between that, it’s a totally different playing field.
“I mean, you have to rewire and relearn. I would say that, as an observer, and a big fan of music, there are fewer characters. Lots of songs come out, but fewer characters and personalities.”
On Saturday (16.11.19), Katy is set to perform at Mumbai’s OnePlus Music Festival on the same line-up as Dua Lipa.
On sharing a stage with her idol, the ‘One Kiss hitmaker wrote on Instagram alongside a series of pictures from her trip: “So excited to go back to India this week!! I’ve never had the chance to perform in front of you and I’m excited to share the stage with sweet mutha KPez @katyperry !!!! Yaaaaay. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bret Michaels has teased Poison will announce their 2020 tour dates “in the next month or so”.
The frontman revealed in March that the original line-up – which also features drummer Rikki Rockett, bassist Bobby Hall and lead guitarist C.C. DeVille – are set to return next year with shows and “maybe” some new music.
He had said: “One thousand percent.
“Next year, all of us back out, and we’re gonna make it unbelievable.”
And now he has revealed when fans can expect the official tour announcement to be made.
He told The Arizona Republic: “Every other year we’re out with the all-original lineup and it’s always out in the arenas and amphitheaters, having an amazing time.
“It’ll be great and hopefully we’ll get to announce something really awesome coming up in the next month or so.”
The glam metal legends haven’t released a record of new material since 2002’s ‘Hollyweird’.
On what fans can expect from them, he said earlier this year: “We’re gonna put a new look together.
“Hopefully –hopefully – a [new] song or two.
“Even if we just get one good song together.
“I said, ‘Guys, let’s just write one awesome, kick-ass, modern-day, now, today, a ‘Nothin’ But A Good Time’, a modern-day ‘Talk Dirty To Me’, a ‘Ride The Wind’.
“Let’s just go in there and write one kick-ass song and let’s just take it out on the road with all the hits and have a great time.'”
The 56-year-old rocker has also had a successful solo career, with his 2010 album ‘Custom Built’ – which was inspired by his reality docu-series ‘Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It’ – topping Billboard’s Hard Rock list.
The ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’ hitmaker says the band works “in tandem” with his solo projects, and insisted it’s not “instead of” being with his bandmates.
He also admitted that he doesn’t see himself retiring from touring and making music anytime soon, because he lives to be on stage.
He explained: “I never do anything ‘instead of.’ It’s not like I’ve gotta leave Poison to do solo or vice versa; I just make it all work in tandem.
“And next year, we’re already talking about where to kick it off, where to start, and we’re gonna make it an incredible tour, and then mix that with the solo dates.
“It’s gonna just continue. ‘Cause at this point, this is what I not only love to do, it’s what I live and do.
“This is what I love to do -be out on the road making music – and Poison is gonna bring, again, an awesome show next year.”
Poison’s last tour saw them join Def Leppard on the ‘Nothing But A Good Time Tour’ with special guests Cheap Trick and Pop Evil in May and June 2018.

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles has announced a world tour for 2020.
The former One Direction star – who launched his solo career with his self titled debut album in 2017 – is set to hit the road next year in support of his upcoming second LP ‘Fine Line’.
Starting off the UK leg with a night in Birmingham on April 15, the huge ‘Love On Tour’ run will see the 25-year-old star perform across mainland Europe, the US and Mexico, with the final date at Mexico City’s Foro Sol on October 3.
For the European shows, Harry will be joined by rising star King Princess, while singer songwriter Jenny Lewis hits the US and Jamaican reggae musician Koffee will conclude that tour before taking to the stage in Mexico.
More dates are set to be announced soon for South America, while confirming of shows in Asia, Australia and more will be revealed in 2020.
Tickets go on sale on November 22, with a contribution per ticket going to “various local charities”, with priority access on November 17 for UK fans who pre-order ‘Fine Line’ in any format through Harry’s official UK online store.
For US and Canada fans – and select European dates – American Express Card members can buy tickets in certain markets from November to November 21.
Harry recently released new track ‘Lights Up’, which came as the first song he had released since his debut album.
He also shared the video to the song, in which he is largely shirtless and grinds and dances with other scantily-clad people, with the whole group soaking wet.
The track was produced by its co-writers, Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon.

OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Stipe is proud he never pretended to be straight to further his music career.
The R.E.M. star publicly came out as gay at the time of the band’s ninth album ‘Monster’ – which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year – and he is sure “longstanding” fans had already figured it out by that point.
He told Billboard: “I was never closeted. That’s the thing that’s beautiful about it and I’m so proud of. You can never find a single picture of me pretending to have a girlfriend or being somebody that I’m not.
“I was never that guy. Any longstanding R.E.M. fan who had not figured out I was queer before that point wasn’t looking very hard.”
The band came to an end in 2011, but they have unearthed some demos and rare outtakes for the ‘Monster’ re-release.
Frontman and lyricist Michael acknowledged many of R.E.M.’s followers will be glad to hear how the songs progressed throughout the writing process, although he himself finds the recordings tough to listen back to.
He explained: “To pull the curtain back that far is a bit humiliating, frankly.
“I want people to think of me as this perfect genius who emerged completely into the world. Of course, that’s not the case.”
The LP itself saw the group embrace a glam rock style as they took big strides away from the styles heard by fans on predecessors ‘Out of Time’ and ‘Automatic for the People’.
Michael added: “I can’t believe looking back … that we had the audacity and the courage to jump off a cliff together, not literally but figuratively, to create something sounding so different from the records before.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Black Crowes are reuniting for a huge tour next year.
The group haven’t performed live since 2013 but brothers Chris and Rich Robinson are to go out on the road to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album ‘Shake Your Money Maker’ and have promised the shows will be “pure”.
Chris told Rolling Stone magazine: “I think this is pure. We went off into a lot of things. There’s no jamming.
“There’s no extraneous stuff. This is the purest Black Crowes that people first [heard] … I hope we reconnect with some people who lost their way with us because of all of our other shit we were doing.”
The brothers’ fighting came close to overshadowing their music over the years but they insist those days are over.
Rich said: “No one is here to be a d**k. We love this music. We’re musicians. We’re brothers. We love each other. We love this opportunity … Changing the context with Chris and I and all new people is a much healthier place for us.”
The ‘Hard to Handle’ hitmakers released five albums before going on hiatus in 1999. They reunited for a number of gigs three years later and then released a new album, ‘Warpaint’ in 2008.
After the release of two more LPs, they went on hiatus again in 2010, before touring in 2013, two years before Rich declared they had split for good.
Chris said: “It’s always been our band and it’s funny through all the trajectory of the good and the bad — the joy and the frustrations.
“[Rich and I] were laughing, saying the one thing [we] can always agree on is, ‘Shake Your Money Maker’s a good record.”
The pair will be joined by new members for the tour, including Earthless guitarist Isiah Mitchell, Once and Future Band’s drummer Raj Ojha and keyboardist Joel Robinow and veteran session bassist Tim LeFebvre.
The 46-date concert series will kick off in Austin, Texas, on 17 June and run throughout the summer, concluding in Los Angeles, California on 19 September.
The confirmation of the tour comes a few days after a billboard was spotted at a New York subway station advertising two gigs in the city last week.

OHMYGOSSIP — Normani says her debut solo album will “finally allow people” to get to know “the real” her.
The former Fifth Harmony member is set to launch her first record in early 2020, and she has shared how she wants to make sure her solo output is her “truth”.
She said: “I am definitely going to be prioritising real-life experiences and making sure it’s my truth – me as a woman, right now.
“[It] will finally [allow] people to get to know the real me, the real Normani.”
The 23-year-old star also revealed she has been “bottling up” her solo greatness and she knew she had it “within her” long before she unleashed her debut solo single ‘Motivation’ in August.
She added to V magazine: “To the rest of the world it’s like, Oh my gosh, where has she been? What is this?
“For me, this is what I knew I’ve had within myself for such a long time.
“I have just been bottling it up, and I’m so eager to share it with the rest of the world.
“God, like, saved me until he knew that the moment was right – which is now!”
Normani previously admitted to feeling “vulnerable” as a solo artist, especially with the release of her music video for ‘Motivation’, which paid homage to a lot of her own pop inspirations.
She shared: “Putting something out is a vulnerable moment, because you give everybody the opportunity to pick apart something you’ve worked incredibly hard on.
“Ultimately, I guess it paid off, and I’m happy that everybody loves it. I’m such a perfectionist.
“Even seeing the final version – I wouldn’t say I’m 100 percent happy with it, but I know for sure that it’s just going to motivate me to get it 100 percent right next time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Grimes will release new single ‘So Heavy’ on Friday (15.11.19).
The experimental pop artist has announced the next taste of her long-awaited fifth studio album, ‘Miss_Anthropocene’ – the follow-up to 2015’s ‘Art Angels’ – will be unleashed later this week.
Alongside the artwork, she wrote on Instagram: “Hooo boy finally just got release dates for things from label this AM. “SO HEAVY I FELL THROUGH THE EARTH Fri. (sic)”
The 31-year-old musician – whose real name is Claire Boucher – dropped second single,’Violence’, in September, and the ‘Oblivion’ singer previously shared a demo of a new song called ‘Pretty Dark’.
‘Miss_Anthropocene’ is set to tackle climate change and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with “human extinction depicted through a pop star demonology”.
In a lengthy note to fans on Instagram, she explained previously: “Each song will be a different embodiment of human extinction as depicted through a Pop star Demonology.”
The lead single ‘We Appreciate Power’ was released last year.
She continued: “The first song ‘we appreciate power’, introduced the pro-AI-propaganda girl group who embody our potential enslavement/destruction at the hands of Artificial General intelligence. (sic)”
The ‘Genesis’ singer – who appeared on Bring Me The Horizon’s song ‘nihilist blues’ earlier this year – plans to turn climate change into a “good villain” character, like Queen Beryl from manga series ‘Sailor Moon’ and The Joker from ‘Batman’, so that it’s “easier to look at” and not seen as just an “abstract doom”.
She added: “Climate change is something I’m only ever confronted with in a sad/ guilty way ….
“Reading news and what not … so my goal is to make climate change fun (lol..??)…. uhhh… (I mean, everybody loves a good villain … re: the joker, Queen Beryl).. so maybe it’ll be a bit easier to look at if it can exist as a character and not just abstract doom. (sic)”
In 2014, Grimes revealed that her name was inspire by the UK sub-genre of hip-hop, Grime, which she stumbled upon on MySpace.
An official release date for the record is yet to be confirmed.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Townshend says he’s still in The Who because of his “increasingly affectionate relationship” with bandmate Roger Daltrey.
The 74-year-old guitar hero has admitted that whilst he and the 75-year-old frontman didn’t hate each other in their early days, they had “very little in common”, and although the latter is still true, they’ve grown to “care deeply” for one another.
Townshend admitted: “I still perform partly because of my ongoing, developing and increasingly affectionate relationship with Roger.
“When you look back at where we started, I wouldn’t say we despised each other but we had very little in common. Now, we have very little in common but we really care about each other deeply.”
The ‘Won’t Get Fooled Again’ hitmaker says their appreciation and compassion for each other has been totally unexpected, but it’s what keeps the legendary band ticking.
He added to The Yorkshire Post newspaper: “It’s been a surprise and a delight to us both that we found this because we didn’t expect it.
“We are really comfortable with each other.
“He says, ‘You’ve got your guitar and your pen, I’ve got my voice’.
“We meet in the middle and it just happens to be performing.”
Townshend insisted that he hasn’t given much thought to when he plans to retire from performing, and admitted he doesn’t think it should be “such an issue”.
He explained: “I wonder why this is such an issue.
“There are so many other things that are happening.
“We are serving our ageing fan base but we are also playing to kids who aren’t over the age of 14 and they scream at me throughout the whole concert. It’s the music, the history, the legend.”
Daltrey previously admitted he is aware that the ‘Baba O’Riley’ hitmakers are reaching the “twilight” of their “live career”.
Speaking about their shows this year, which included a date at London’s Wembley Stadium in July, the iconic singer said: “It’s always very difficult getting us to do anything; Pete’s on different projects and everything else.
“I just want to get this tour done and the second leg to be even better than the first, and let’s see where we are once we’ve done that.
“I mean, we’re obviously coming to the twilight of our live career, and I’m glad we’re getting to do something like this before it’s over.”
And he recently admitted he thinks he will lose his voice “in the next five years”.
The ‘Pinball Wizard’ hitmaker has taken to lip-reading nowadays due to his deafness, and he fears “age” will start to affect the quality of his singing.
He admitted: “Obviously within the next five years I think my voice will go.
“Age will get it in the end.
“It’s still there at the moment.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Soundgarden won’t tour without late frontman Chris Cornell.
The ‘Black Hole Sun’ band’s guitarist Kim Thayil has revealed he and the rest of the group – which was also comprised of Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd – came to the “conclusion” that it wouldn’t be possible to continue playing live “given” their “sentiments and love” for the singer – who tragically took his own life in May 2017.
Speaking during SiriusXM’s ‘Trunk Nation LA Invasion’, he said: “Reasonably, you’ve got a big part missing … I do not see, given the commitments that other band members have, given our sentiments and love for Chris, I do not see us reconfiguring a tour or anything, as other bands have done in the past, without him.
“This is really complicated, but I’ve known Chris since I was a kid, basically — we grew up together, our early 20s. “You want to honour the work and legacy you did.
“Is it best to regard it with dignity and let it rest?
“Do you want to honour it by celebrating the music and work that he’s done?
“This has been difficult for a lot of people in the family and the band, and I think our conclusion was that.”
However, Kim had some good news for fans, as they are hoping to release their final album featuring the ‘Loud Love’ singer.
He said: “We definitely have another record in us.
“Stuff that’s written, stuff that’s demoed and recorded — certainly.
“All it would need is to take the audio files that are available.
“And I think that will happen. It would be ridiculous if it didn’t. But these are difficult things — partnerships and property.”
Chris was also the frontman of Audioslave, who played a tribute concert in honour of the ‘Cochise’ rocker in January, which saw the likes of Jane Addiction’s Perry Farrell, Dave Grohl, Brandi Carlile and Juliette Lewis perform songs from their back catalogue.
Meanwhile, Brad Pitt is working on a documentary about his late friend.
The ‘World War Z’ actor and director Peter Berg – who co-own production company Film 45 – have teamed up with Chris’ widow, Vicky Cornell, to work on the feature-length film, which will explore the life and career of the singer.
Vicky will serve as producer on the project.
A spokesperson for the rocker’s estate confirmed the project is in the works but declined to offer any further details.

OHMYGOSSIP — The MOBO Awards will return to London in 2020.
The ceremony – which has celebrated the best music of black origin since 1996 – will be back at The SSE Arena, Wembley, on November 12, 2020, after a two year break.
MOBO CEO Kanya King CBE has promised they will be back and bigger than ever before.
She said: “We felt empowered to bring MOBO back to Brent to coincide with the borough’s Year of Culture because this is where our fight to challenge the status quo to create a level playing field started.
“We are returning with even more determination and energy to support and boost our culture wherever we can. “2020 will see many positive changes that will impact more and more talented young people – very proud to be back and to help ensure that the younger generation will also dare to dream.”
There was no explanation for why the show didn’t take place this year, but in 2018 to they stated that they wanted to work to “bring the platform to brand new heights” – and vowed it will be a “bigger, revamped show” when it’s back.
The 2017 MOBOs, which took place at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, saw grime superstar Stormzy win big, scooping Best Male Act and Best Album for ‘Gang Signs & Prayer’.
Other winners at the event included Craig David, who was named BestR&B/Soul Act, and Damian Marley – son of the late, great Bob Marley – picked up the Best Reggae Act prize.
Stefflon Don won Best Female Act, while Giggs took home Best Hip Hop Act and Dave was awarded Best Newcomer.
A special award went to actor and DJ Idris Elba, who was handed the Paving The Way Award for his achievements in the arts and his contribution to British culture.
Other the years the likes of Skepta, Sir Lenny Henry, CeeLo Green, Ms. Dynamite and Sam Smith have been honoured with MOBO Awards.

OHMYGOSSIP — Blossoms will be heading back into the studio in December to work on their next record.
Tom Ogden and co’s third studio album, ‘Foolish Loving Spaces’, is set for release on January 31, 2020, but the Stockport band are already itching to get started on the follow-up.
Speaking to Gordon Smart on the latest episode of ‘Red Stripe Presents: This Feeling TV’, Tom said: “Well we’re going to America for Christmas so got to kind of do a few rehearsals for that.
“Then there’s boring stuff that goes into the album like picking the booklet photos, so that’s what we were doing yesterday … [They’re asking questions like] ‘what page do you want the lyrics on?’ so we’ve been sorting that out … We’re busy sorting that kind of thing.
“We’re actually gonna go in the studio in December and start the next album.”
The indie rockers worked once again with The Coral’s James Skelly on ‘Foolish Loving Spaces’, and Tom admitted he never holds back when he doesn’t like a song.
On their process, he explained: “We kind of figure a lot of it out before hand, we’ll all do a demo and then I’ll send him the demo on WhatsApp and he always says to me, ‘I’ll just find what I don’t like about it, until there’s nothing I don’t like about it’.
“Sometimes, it’s 90% there and he’s like, ‘oh it’s great, just make it three BPM faster’, literally as small as that or, ‘let’s do a different chord here’.
“Like ‘Gravity’, the last track on this album, he fully was like, ‘let’s do something different and spin it on its head’ but because we respect him and we’ve worked with each other for so long it’s not like, ‘oh what’s this guy doing?’ There’s a lot of trust there.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Charlemagne’ rockers revealed they still have performing a headline show at Manchester United’s Old Trafford football ground on their bucket list.
Bassist Charlie Salt said: “I think it would be really nice to do the [Old Trafford] cricket ground.”
Drummer Joe Donovan said: “Even like the two biggest stages in England, Wembley – obviously we did that with The Stone Roses and the Pyramid Stage [at Glastonbury], and we did that. Its mad to think we’ve done those massive stages.”
Tom added: “It would be good to go back on your own and headline one day.
“Like Manchester [Arena], we’ll be doing the arena next year, that will be great because we’ve seen, [looks at Charlie], was it you who has seen Steps?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher played Oasis tracks ‘Gas Panic!’ and ‘Acquiesce’ for the first time as a solo artist at the opening night of his UK tour.
The Britpop group’s former frontman treated fans at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on Monday night (11.11.19) to a throwback as he performed the former track from their 2000 LP ‘Standing on the Shoulder of Giants’ for the first time since 2002, plus he took on ‘Acquiesce’, which usually sees his former bandmate and rival sibling Noel Gallagher sing on the chorus.
The last time the latter song – which is a B-side to their first number one single, 1995’s ‘Some Might Say’ – was played live by Oasis was in 2006, three years before their split.
The ‘Wall of Glass’ hitmaker also performed Beady Eye’s ‘The World’s Not Set in Stone’ for the first time solo.
The track featured on Liam’s former band’s second and final ever studio album, 2013’s ‘BE’.
If that wasn’t enough, the 47-year-old rocker also played ‘Be Still’ from his second solo album ‘Why Me? Why Not.’ for the first time.
Liam was joined on stage by Oasis guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs for the majority of the ‘Wonderwall’ band’s hits.
The spectacular 21-song set drew to a close with a stripped-back piano-led rendition of Oasis’ ‘Champagne Supernova’.
As the rock ‘n’ roll star departed the stage, the packed out arena started chanting: “Liam, Liam, Liam.”
After the gig, the ‘Shockwave’ hitmaker logged onto Twitter to hail the Welsh crowd “biblical”.
He wrote: “Cardiff you have restored my faith in the human race you were biblical stay young LG x (sic)”
Liam continues his tour at Arena Birmingham in The Midlands on Tuesday night (12.11.19).

OHMYGOSSIP — The Spice Girls turned down the chance to perform with Adele on their reunion tour – because they didn’t want to be upstaged.
The ‘Stop’ hitmakers – who got back together without Victoria Beckham for a string of stadium dates over the summer – could have had the ‘Skyfall’ singer on stage with them for the final night of their concert series at London’s Wembley Stadium in June, but opted out of the duet as they were afraid their vocals wouldn’t match up to those of their biggest fan, who instead watched from the audience.
Mel C admitted: “I heard a rumour that she did want to come up and do ‘2 Become 1’. But we said no because, who wants to sing with Adele?”
The ‘Wannabe’ group – which also features Geri Horner, Mel B, and Emma Bunton – haven’t announced any further dates since the tour wrapped in June but Mel revealed they are hopeful they’ll be off around the world in the future.
She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I’d love to do more shows. It was so loved by so many people and we have fans all over the world.
“And we have fans we have never gone to, whether it be in South East Asia, South America or even Australia.”
The ‘High Heels’ singer understood why fashion designer Victoria had opted out of the reunion because she was “very nervous” when the group briefly reconciled to perform at the London 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.
She said: “Victoria s**t herself when we did it, not literally, but she was very nervous when we were at the Olympic Stadium. And you know what? It’s completely understandable. Her life has changed so much and she has worked so hard.
“She’s at the top of her game in a very different industry and for her to come back to performing, she was petrified.
“I think if the nerves are that uncomfortable and it kind of outweighs the joy that you get from the performance, then I understand.”
However, she thinks her pal would get back on board if the group were offered a slot at the world-famous Glastonbury festival.
Mel said: “She f***ing would. She would. She’d love to do Glastonbury. The truth behind the rumour is we’ve never even been approached.”
