OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna wants to record a song about chickens with Lil Nas X.
The ‘Ray of Light’ hitmaker spotted the ‘Old Town Road’ hitmaker in the audience of her ‘Madame X’ gig in LA earlier this week and made a beeline for him, where she drank some of his beer and they talked about life on a farm.
Spotting Nas’ drink, she said: “That looks so thirst-quenching, may I have a sip.
“If I drink this, I’ll be getting some of your backwash. Kinda sharp, your backwash. Might cut my tongue.”
Nas replied: “I’m in the presence of a legend, I’m just happy to be here.”
The 61-year-old singer then sang a snippet of ‘Old Town Road’ and she then asked Nas to visit her.
She said: “I expect you to show up to my horse farm. I’m going to show you what to do with a horse for real. I’ll teach you how to ride, baby.
“And then we can make a song about chickens, because I’ve got chickens, too.”
Madonna also asked the 20-year-old singer about his career plans.
She said: “You in here for the short distance or the long distance?”
He replied: “Long, for sure.”
The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker then offered up some advice for Nas, who vowed to take it on board.
She said: “Work hard. Earn it, baby.”
He said: “I promise you I will.”
Nas recently revealed he and Billy Ray Cyrus are to record another song together, following the success of ‘Old Town Road’, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a record-breaking 19 weeks.
Asked about the often-requested idea of him remixing the country crooner’s classic 1992 hit ‘Achy Breaky Heart’, he said: “I’ve been getting that a lot. I’m down. But we’re going to make something original, I think, next.”
Billy Ray added: “I didn’t think anything would be at the top like that. But [‘Old Town Road’] has been a wild ride.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Normani wants to make “whatever she does black”.
The former Fifth Harmony singer is keen to promote her culture through her music and insists her ‘Motivation’ music video had to be “as black as possible”.
Speaking to the new issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, she said: “I told the director, ‘I want this to be as black as possible.’ I was like, let’s show black culture … Why does pop music have to be so white? Why don’t we make it a little bit more me? … I’m gonna make whatever I do black. You’ll know that I’m a black girl, even if it’s on the quote unquote whitest record ever.”
Meanwhile, Normani previously revealed her debut solo album will “finally allow people” to get to know “the real” her.
She said: “I am definitely going to be prioritising real-life experiences and making sure it’s my truth – me as a woman, right now. [It] will finally [allow] people to get to know the real me, the real Normani … To the rest of the world it’s like, Oh my gosh, where has she been? What is this? For me, this is what I knew I’ve had within myself for such a long time. I have just been bottling it up, and I’m so eager to share it with the rest of the world. God, like, saved me until he knew that the moment was right – which is now!”
And Normani admitted to feeling “vulnerable” as a solo artist.
She shared: “Putting something out is a vulnerable moment, because you give everybody the opportunity to pick apart something you’ve worked incredibly hard on. Ultimately, I guess it paid off, and I’m happy that everybody loves it. I’m such a perfectionist. Even seeing the final version – I wouldn’t say I’m 100 percent happy with it, but I know for sure that it’s just going to motivate me to get it 100 percent right next time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Coldplay are in “hibernation mode” after taking a long break from music.
The ‘Paradise’ hitmakers returned on Friday (22.11.19) with their new album ‘Everyday Life’ – their first LP since 2015’s ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ – and frontman Chris Martin admitted having almost four years out of the spotlight was healthy for the band.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “A Coldplay hibernation makes you forget that you were ever in a famous band and I think it’s a good way to see if there are any new songs around.
“The idea of playing a stadium right now feels like a different person. I can’t imagine doing that, which I think means I’m still in a bit of hibernation mode.”
Despite their huge popularity, the group – completed by Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion – has no plans to perform stadium shows any time soon.
Chris, 42, said: “It’s a very different mindset doing a stadium tour from singing about the things we’re singing about at the moment. It’s a switch you have to turn on.”
The singer’s comments come after he suggested they won’t be hitting the road to support the new double record – with two halves, called ‘Sunrise’ and ‘Sunset’ – until their live runs are environmentally friendly.
He explained: “Our next tour will be the best possible version of a tour like that [last world tour] environmentally. We would be disappointed if it’s not carbon neutral.
“We’ve done a lot of big tours at this point. How do we turn it around so it’s no so much taking as giving?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Townshend says Keith Moon and John Entwistle were “f***ing difficult to play with”.
The Who guitarist has taken aim at the legendary rock band’s late rhythm section – drummer Keith died in 1978 while John passed away in 2002 – and suggested he’s happier performing without them because he doesn’t have to hold them “together”.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, he said: “It’s not going to make Who fans very happy, but thank God they’re gone. Because they were f***ing difficult to play with.
“They never, ever managed to create bands for themselves. I think my musical discipline, my musical efficiency as a rhythm player, held the band together.”
The 74-year-old star – who still works with frontman Roger Daltrey – didn’t hold back as he criticised his late bandmates, and claimed playing live with new musicians made him more relaxed on stage.
He explained: “John’s bass sound was like a Messiaen organ. Every note, every harmonic in the sky. When he passed away and I did the first few shows without him, with Pino [Palladino] on bass, he was playing without all that stuff… I said, ‘Wow, I have a job’.
“With Keith, my job was keeping time, because he didn’t do that. So when he passed away, it was like, ‘Oh, I don’t have to keep time anymore.’ ”
Pete also had some strong words for Keith’s conduct in the studio, as he claimed he used to think the sessions were a “f***ing waste of time”.
He added: “We’re not a band anymore. There’s a lot of people who don’t like it when I say it, but we’re just not a f***ing band. Even when we were, I used to sit there thinking, ‘This is a f***ing waste of time. Take 26 because Keith Moon has had one glass of brandy too many.’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Joy Crookes, Celeste and Beabadoobee have been nominated for the BRIT Awards 2020 Rising Star prize.
The trio of stars make up this year’s all-female shortlist for the award – which was previously known as the BRITs Critics’ Choice – with the winner getting the chance to perform at the ceremony for the first time in its history.
Reflecting on the recognition, soulful singer Joy – who performed at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Glastonbury over the summer – said: “I remember watching the BRITs as a child – especially seeing my favourites like Lily Allen, Corinne Bailey Rae and Amy Winehouse up on the screen.
“I’ve always looked up to these inspiring and strong women so to be able to be recognised in the same way they were is insane – thank you so much to anyone who has supported me to get here!”
Celeste is set to embark on a headline tour in APril next year – including a huge sold out show at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire – and her career has gone from strength to strength after signing with Poldor in 2018.
She commented: “My earliest memory of the BRITs was 2002, I was around 8 years old. MC Romeo had me at ‘turn up the bass line’ and MisTeeq were the women I wanted to be when I grew up.
“It was a cold winter evening and I was glued to my television, I remember being in a frenzy with every word they sang. It was in that exact moment that I thought I would like to be a part of that one day.
“To be nominated for the Rising Star award is a huge honour, especially to recognised this early on in my career.”
For Beabadoobee – whose real name is Bea Kristi – she admitted it feels “weird” that her brand of ‘confessional bedroom pop’ has earned her such a passionate fanbase.
She said: “It’s suuuper cool to be nominated for the BRITs Rising Star award and I’m so grateful. It’s so weird to think that writing music in my bedroom could appeal to so many people. Thank you so much to anyone who has voted for me!”
The award has previously been won by the likes of Adele (2008), Jessie J (2011), Sami Smith (2014) and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man (2017), while Sam Fender took home this year’s prize.
The winner will be announced on December 6, with the ceremony taking place on February 18 next year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel B wants another Spice Girls reunion.
The 44-year-old star was delighted to be back with her former bandmates – Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Horner – for their highly anticipated comeback tour earlier this year, and now she has admitted she’s already keen for them to get some more plans in place.
Speaking to Grazia magazine, the singer – who was nickname Scary Spice in the girl group – said: “I am always going to hold a candle that we can get back on stage together.
“I’ve always supported that and it worked because we all did it this year together. Well, four of us.
“I even sent a text this week to everyone saying, ‘Come on, are we going to do something again or what?’ We need to.”
Her comments come after Emma, 43, admitted while it can be “difficult” for the band to organise plans around their families and other commitments, she thinks more tours or one-off performances are possible when the time is right.
She recently said: “We talk about it all the time. We are very close.
“We’ve all got all of our family, our kids, and we love doing stuff together, but it is difficult getting us all to get together to approve things and to make sure we all want to do the same thing.
“But we will always be that unit and we sometimes go, right, let’s tour, and sometimes do a gig, let’s do an animation film … so they are the kind of things going on at the moment.”
While the ‘Stop’ singers haven’t announced any further plans since the world tour wrapped in summer, she teased new music is on its way when the quartet can find the time to get into the studio together.
She added: “Stuff is bubbling under. We are all mothers. We know it’s important to be with our children. And we are four different personalities.
“I’d like to kick some of the girls up the bum though, to get things moving…
“We have talked about new music. I wish I could say more. We are looking at co-writers. We are looking to do this animation project next year.
“I talk to the girls all the time, we’re letting it bubble away.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has announced a huge homecoming show at Manchester’s Heaton Park.
The former Oasis rocker – who recently completed a sold out UK tour supporting his second solo album ‘Why Me? Why Not’ – will be back for a headline slot at the 600-hectare park on June 12 next year as he promised a set featuring some “stone cold” classic tracks at the special concert.
He tweeted: “So if you haven’t heard I’m playing HEATON PARK 12th June 2020 I’ll be playing songs from my 2 no 1 solo albums and yes you guessed it some stone cold OASIS classics c’mon you know LG x (sic)”
The 47-year-old singer also teased the possibility of airing some new material when a fan jokingly suggestion ‘C’mon You Know’ could be the name of his next record.
He replied: “I may treat you to a new song.”
Tickets for the summer show go on sale on Friday (29.11.19) at 10am, and the concert itself will take place the day before Manchester’s annual Parklife festival.
Liam headlined the event in 2018, and details of the 2020 edition are set to be revealed in the new year.
Meanwhile, the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmaker recently took a dig at his brother Noel and told his Australian fans to “stay strong” while the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ star has been there on tour.
He quipped: “Australia don’t worry I’ll be out there soon to pick you up after the little fella no doubt has bored you to death stay strong LG x (sic)”
However, Noel previously claimed that “every tweet” Liam posts about him is “another nail in the coffin” for an Oasis reunion and claimed his younger sibling is a “moron” for thinking he’ll forgive him for repeatedly insulting his wife Sara MacDonald and blaming her for being the reason the guitarist won’t reform their band.
Noel, 52, said: “It’s strange behaviour for someone who is gagging for me to pick up the phone and say let’s do it. He’d put his whole life on hold to get Oasis back together. But every tweet he sends out its another nail in the coffin of that idea.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel C was almost thrown out of the Spice Girls for telling Victoria Beckham to “f**k off”.
The 45-year-old singer – whose full name is Melanie Chisholm – has finally revealed the reason why she was almost given the boot from the girl group, after she teased fans with the story in the 2012 documentary ‘The Spice Girls Story: Viva Forever!’.
At the time, Mel said: “I nearly got kicked out once as well, but that’s another story.”
Now, Sporty Spice has spilled the details on the eventful night at the Brit Awards back in February 1996 – five months before the group officially launched.
Mel told The Guardian: “I got a bit lairy and I told Victoria to f**k off.”
The ‘Wannabe’ hitmaker quickly learned “that to have an easy life was to stay quiet” after she was told she would get the chop.
She added: “I upset her, and I was told that if that behaviour ever happened again, then …”
In 2000, the girl group – formed of Mel and Victoria, as well as Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton – decided to go their own way, but reunited earlier this year for a special string of UK tour dates.
Mel says the tour – which didn’t feature Victoria Beckham – helped rekindle friendships between the members, especially after she fell out with Mel B after she failed to intervene in Mel B’s marriage to ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, whom she accused of being abusive toward her.
She admitted: “I feel – and she knows this – I feel s**t that I wasn’t more determined to intervene. But what can you do? We’re all grownups. I couldn’t wade in there and say: ‘I think your husband’s a prick, I want to take you away.’
“Melanie and I did fall out about it. And I didn’t handle it very well. It was difficult and she couldn’t leave that situation until she was ready. Thank God nothing happened to her. You do feel shit that you didn’t do more.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shaggy says working with Sting was “magic”.
The 51-year-old singer is currently working on new music with his close pal Sting, and although their partnership is somewhat unlikely, the ‘Boombastic’ hitmaker has said they work well together because they started as friends before they decided to get into the studio together.
He said: “I’ve known Sting for years just as friends, and once we got in the studio it was magic! Now we vacation together and we drink together.
“I never look forward to collaborations with major artists, I go through too many dramas and too much egos. But with Sting, it started with a friendship that merged into a project and I think that’s why it was different.”
Shaggy also spoke about how his classic 90s hit singles have stood the test of time, especially in the light of the #MeToo movement.
The ‘Hey Sexy Lady’ singer believes music today is far more explicit than anything he made in his heyday, and says he just made “relatable” hits.
He added: “It was so taboo back then … but now I’m like an angel with the kind of things I’m saying compared to what they say now.
“Back then we weren’t saying anything derogatory about women. I would write about sexual women and being Mr Luva Luva which is kind of relatable to everyone, as everyone makes love!”
Alongside his new music, Shaggy also starred as Sebastian the crab in ‘The Little Mermaid Live!’ earlier this month, and says he never thought he would accept television roles because he always used to reject them in the 90s.
Speaking to MailOnline, he said: “If you had asked me to do this 20 years ago I probably would have said no. I’ve been offered these things before, my own television show, movies … I’ve turned most of them down.
“Throughout my career I’ve been very very keen about protecting my brand and I usually don’t do things for money. It has to make sense.
“Back then I was breaking down barriers, getting dancehall into the mainstream and i didn’t want to do anything else. Now we’ve done that, and it’s global, and dancehall is the mainstream.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicole Scherzinger has confirmed The Pussycat Dolls have reunited nine years after they broke up – but Melody Thornton is not part of the comeback.
The 41-year-old star is “so excited” about getting back together with the ‘Don’t Cha’ hitmakers – also made up of Ashley Roberts, 38, Kimberly Wyatt, 37, Carmit Bachar, 45, and Jessica Sutta, 37 – and hopes they will “push each other”.
She said: “First of all, I hope it’s different because we are different. It is 10 years on now. We all bring our own unique gifts to the group. I am so excited and we have grown so much.
“We are here to see each other shine. I think we are going to push each other.”
Nicole insists that despite any disagreements within the band, they “always had so much respect for each other”.
Speaking on podcast ‘The Dan Wootton Interview’, she said: “Like any family, it’s a relationship and you work it out.
“It’s natural people are going to disagree and argue. But we always had so much respect for each other. We never had any knockdown, drag-out, crazy fights.”
But band member Melody has not reunited with the Dolls.
Group founder Robin Antin admitted “at this time, it wasn’t right” for the 35-year-old star, but her fellow Dolls have insisted the door “was and is always open” if she wants to return.
This comes just days after Louis Walsh let slip that The Pussycat Dolls are to perform on ‘The X Factor: Celebrity’ final on Saturday (30.11.19).
He said: “The Pussycat Dolls are the guest! There’s an exclusive for you.”
The girl group went on hiatus in 2010.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna has cancelled three concerts after becoming “overwhelmed” with pain.
The 61-year-old singer was due to play three dates of her ‘Madame X’ tour at the Boch Center Wang Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts, from 30 November to 2 December but has pulled out of the shows on doctor’s orders.
She said: “Please forgive this unexpected turn of events. Doing my show every night brings me so much joy and to cancel is a kind of punishment for me, but the pain I’m in right now is overwhelming and I must rest and follow doctor’s orders so I can come back stronger and better and continue the Madame X journey with all of you.”
Promoter Live Nation confirmed the shows will not be rescheduled “due to tight scheduling through the balance of the year” and all tickets will be refunded.
Just a day before the cancellation, the ‘Hung Up’ hitmaker admitted she had “multiple injuries”.
She shared a video on Instagram of her in the bath and wrote: “Celebrated My Last show in L.A with my usual Ice Bath for multiple injuries. [Love] and THANKS to my gang-gang for being my hype squad (sic)”
Last month, Madonna postponed a performance at BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in New York due to a knee injury.
At the time, she insisted having to cancel the show hurt “more than you can imagine”, but reminded fans her alter-ego Madame X is “made of flesh and blood” and needs time for her knee to heal.
She wrote on Instagram: “Its Hard for Madame X to admit that she is also a human being made of flesh and blood and she must rest for the next 3 days to insure full recovery for her knee.
I am not a quitter. This hurts me more than you can imagine. Its time to take those heels and fishnets off for a few days! Thank you for your understanding. See you very soon !! (sic)”
Madonna was previously forced to reschedule a selection of dates on her ‘Madame X Tour’ due to the “highly specialised production elements” of the show.
In a statement, the ‘Vogue’ hitmaker admitted she had “underestimated” the time needed to put on the “most unique and magical musical experience” for her fans, and confessed her alter-ego Madame X is nothing but a “perfectionist”.
She explained: “Madame X is a perfectionist and wants to give you the most unique, magical, and musical experience.
“She underestimated the amount of time it would take to bring this kind of intimate theatrical experience to you and wants it to be perfect!!! Thank you so much for your understanding.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa doesn’t warn ex boyfriends about her songs.
The 24-year-old singer performed her new hit ‘Don’t Start Now’ – in which she sings “I’m all good already, so moved on, it’s scary, I’m not where you left me at all” – at the Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards in Sydney this week, and she admitted while she doesn’t want to be censored, she does try “to be respectful”.
As quoted by The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, she was asked if she warns former flames about her lyrics, and responded: “Of course not.
“They’re my stories but they’re also done in a metaphor. I think for my privacy, and everyone’s privacy, I still like to be respectful.”
Dua released her new single earlier this month, and she explained how the track is about entering a new chapter in her life.
She recently said: “I chose to put this song out first so I could close one chapter of my life and start another.
“Into a new era with a new sound! It’s about moving on and not allowing anyone to get in the way of that.
“It also felt like a natural first song choice as I made it with the brilliant same crew I made ‘New Rules’ with.”
The ‘Hotter Than Hell’ singer embarked on a “new chapter” in her love life in June, as she started dating model Anwar Hadid – following her split from on/off boyfriend Isaac Carew – and the couple made their first red carpet appearance together on Sunday (24.11.19) at the American Music Awards.
She said at the time: “My date is my boyfriend. He’s so handsome, right?”
She also revealed that ‘Don’t Start Now’ was a good teaser for what people can expect from the rest of her upcoming album.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Townshend has apologised for saying Keith Moon and John Entwistle were “f***ing difficult to play with”.
The Who guitarist sparked controversy with his comments about the legendary rock band’s late rhythm section – drummer Keith died in 1978 while John passed away in 2002 – as he said “thank God they’re gone”, but he has now spoken out to clarify his “ironic” comments.
In a lengthy statement posted on Facebook, he wrote: “No one can ever know how much I miss Keith and John, as people, as friends and as musicians. The alchemy we used to share in the studio is missing from the new album, and it always feels wrong to try to summon it up without them, but I suppose we will always be tempted to try.
“To this day I am angry at Keith and John for dying. Sometimes it shows. It’s selfish, but it’s how I feel. But I am sincerely grateful to have had these second and third incarnations as a member of what we still dare to call The Who – once after Keith passed, then again after John passed.
“I do thank God for this, but I was being ironic in my own English way by suggesting it is something I am glad about. I can be grateful to be free as a player and writer, but sad about losing old friends. It does feel ironic, and it also makes me angry.”
The ‘My Generation’ musician explained while the duo were “so eccentric” – and took up “so much musical and sonic space” both in the studio and live – but he and Roger Daltrey had a lot of fun as part of the quartet.
Apologising to Keith and John’s loved ones, he continued: “To those family members of Keith and John, especially Chris Entwistle and Mandy Moon, I apologise for the headlines – and for carelessly providing the words that were used – but in the past three months I have done so many interviews I am losing focus and patience.
“I forgive myself. I hope they can forgive me too. I loved their dads and still do.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charli XCX thinks she’d be seen as a “music industry god” if she was a man.
The 28-year-old singer – who has been executive producer on docuseries ‘I’m With the Band: Nasty Cherry’ and runs record label Vroom Vroom – has hit out at bias in the business and said women is music are “doubted”.
Taking to social media, she wrote in a series of tweets: “I am an artist, a songwriter who’s co written multiple ‘hits’ for myself/other artists, a video director, exec producer of a netflix show, a&r, i run a label, co manage 2 artist..
“if i was a man I’d be hailed as some sort of music industry god but as a woman I’m just – doubted?? (sic)”
The ‘Gone’ hitmaker explained she isn’t looking for sympathy by speaking out, but she wanted to say it “how it is” and urge people in the industry not to “insult” women.
She continued: “Btw i don’t need people to feel sorry for me or anything – i’m just saying it how it is.
“women in this industry are constantly questioned on their validity… ‘did she REALLY write that?’ ‘can she REALLY produce?’ ‘does she REALLY know what she’s doing?’
“i see it all the time. any and all female popstars in 2019 are obviously business women: running their own careers, making their own decisions, directing their own teams, proving points, being groubdreaking and making their own art.
“like, this is SO OBVIOUS. don’t insult us. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Charli recently revealed she’s working on her fourth studio album – the follow-up to this year’s critically-acclaimed self-titled LP ‘Charli’ – and teased the possibility of bringing out two records in 2020.
She tweeted: “i think i want to release 2 albums next year… or at least MAKE 2 albums next year and then if one has to come out early 2021 that’s ok too. i feel very inspired at the moment. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kesha is supporting Little Mix at American Express presents BST Hyde Park next summer.
The ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ hitmakers – made up of Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards – were confirmed as the first headliners for London’s huge outdoor concert series returning in 2020, and the ‘Tik Tok’ star has been added to the bill for July 4 alongside Rita Ora and Zara Larsson.
Following the official announcement, Kesha tweeted: “UK ANIMALS!!! I’m so excited to head back next year on 4th of July for American Express presents @BSTHydePark (sic)”
In a press release, event organisers added: “Now there will be even more girl power at BST Hyde Park, with special guests Rita Ora, Kesha and Zara Larsson added to the line up, plus more to be announced.
“This is a bill that celebrates female artists by putting them at the centre.”
In 2019, BST saw the likes of Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder and Barbara Steisand top the bill with their own exciting performances, while Florence + The Machine were joined by co headliners The National, while Robbie Williams also took to the stage at Hyde Park.
In the past, the event has hosted music icons with Carole King, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Kylie Minogue, The Who, Blur and Take That all amongst the huge names in the festival’s history.
Each year, every headliner is also joined by a full supporting line-up across multiple stages, with major superstars and handpicked emerging artists all appearing together across a number of stages.

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain has written a song for Post Malone.
The country music icon has revealed an unlikely collaboration with the ‘Sunflower’ rapper is actually on the cards and she has already penned a track for their future duet.
Appearing on Wednesday’s (27.11.19) episode of panel show ‘The Talk’, she said: “I’ve written a song for us already.
“He doesn’t know it yet. He knows now. So Post, I have a song for us.”
The ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman’ hitmaker was also inspired after meeting ‘Good As Hell’ star Lizzo and ‘We Are Young’ singer Janelle Monae at the American Music Awards over the weekend, and she wrote a song with both artists in mind.
She added: “I went home and I actually wrote a song for the three of us.
“It’s called ‘Sisters’ and I think we are all sisters in what we do, and it was a really great new friendship that we started.
“And so I went home and wrote that song. They don’t know about it yet.”
Meanwhile, EDM star Diplo was lost for words when Shania interrupted his interview on the red carpet ahead of the event, and didn’t think his night could get any better.
As he held hands with the 54-year-old singer, the producer gushed: “This is amazing! I’m starstruck right now. I don’t know what to say, I mean, it’s Shania Twain!
“This is amazing. I can’t believe this happened. I thought I was gonna be early and no one was going to be here, and then I saw you and I’m like, ‘I’m gonna go home now.’ ”
And when it was suggested that Diplo – whose real name is Thomas Wesley Pentz – should remix Shania’s biggest hit, her 1998 single ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’, she was delighted to hear he’d already made one.
He said: “I play it every night, I have a remix of that already. I gotta send it to you.”
Shania excitedly exclaimed: “You do? I wanna hear it!”
