OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish has had to postpone some dates on the North American leg of her ‘Happier Than Ever’ world tour.
The ‘Bad Guy’ hitmaker’s team announced on Tuesday (25.01.22) that the megastar’s planned performances in Montreal and Toronto on February 15 and 16, respectively, have been delayed out of “an abundance of caution due to local guidelines.”
A statement on the 20-year-old pop superstar’s Twitter account read: “Details on rescheduled dates to be announced, and all tickets will be honoured for the new dates.
“Thank you for understanding and please stay safe.”
What’s more, Billie can no longer make her concert in Phoenix on April 3, as the GRAMMYs moved to that date instead of January 31, but she has confirmed she will play the gig the following day.
Her team announced: “Billie’s second show in Phoenix on Sunday, April 3rd has been rescheduled to Monday, April 4th due to the new date for the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
“All tickets will remain valid for the new show date and we hope everyone can make it.”
The tour is due to kick off at New York’s Madison Square Garden on February 18, and will come to the UK and Europe in the summer.
The GRAMMYs take place at the new venue of the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Billie is up for seven prizes, including Record, Song and Album of the Year for ‘Happier Than Ever’.
Meanwhile, the ‘ocean eyes’ hitmaker was recently confirmed as a headliner for Coachella alongside Kanye West and Harry Styles.
The spectacle, fully titled the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, will return across two weekends, April 15 to 17 and April 22 to 24, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, for the first time in two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.
One Direction star Harry will headline both Fridays, on April 15 and 22, and Billie will be the main act on the Saturdays (April 16 and 23).
Kanye – who is officially on the bill as Ye, his legal name – will close both weekends on Sunday 17 and 24.
Other artists who will perform at the festival include Lil Baby, Big Sean, and Black Coffee, who will play on the two Fridays.
Before Billie takes to the stage for her shows, Flume, Megan Thee Stallion, Disclosure, 21 Savage, and Koffee will perform.
Acts on the Sundays include Doja Cat, Joji, Jamie xx, Karol G, Fatboy Slim, Maneskin, and Duke Dumont.
Swedish House Mafia will also return to the festival.

OHMYGOSSIP — Slash thinks touring during the pandemic helped restore Guns N’ Roses’ “communal passion for music”.
The ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ guitarist has opened up on the legendary group’s US tour last year, which saw them hit the road under strict protocols including “no after-parties” and much more.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “On stage it was incredible, the audience had this crazy energy.
“The effect on the group as a whole were super positive and our relationships.
“No after-parties, no record execs, no celebrations – and frankly it showed on stage. The crisis restored our communal passion for music. We’ve never enjoyed playing music so much.”
The 56-year-old musician admitted it was the kind of tour he could never have imagined during the ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ band’s early years.
He added: “All of our entourage wore masks, there was never any contact with the outside world. No one was invited to the concerts, there were no after-parties.
“We would go straight from the hotel to the venue and back to the hotel until it was time to travel to the next town.
“If you told me that in the ’80s I wouldn’t have believed you.”
Meanwhile, Slash – who is set to release a new album with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators in February – will put “similar” measures in place when they tour to support the record, with GNR’s approach becoming the new normal.
He explained: “I think it was a little glimpse of what’s to come.
“I think we are going to have to live with the virus and adapt to it. With the Conspirators we have a similar protocol.”
Meanwhile, he previously said his upcoming fourth LP with the Conspirators is “the best” they’ve done to date.
He teased: “I think the record itself is probably the best one we’ve done so far. We’re showing no signs of slowing down.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Morrissey has, “politely”, asked his former bandmate Johnny Marr to stop mentioning him in interviews.
The former lead singer of The Smiths has requested that the group’s ex-guitarist refrain from speaking about him publicly, because he “doesn’t know him”, and he accused Marr of talking about him as if he were his “personal psychiatrist”.
Writing in a blog entry on his Morrissey Central website, the musician began: “This is not a rant or an hysterical bombast. It is a polite and calmly measured request: Would you please stop mentioning my name in your interviews?
“Would you please, instead, discuss your own career, your own unstoppable solo achievements and your own music? If you can, would you please just leave me out of it?
“The fact is: you don’t know me. You know nothing of my life, my intentions, my thoughts, my feelings. Yet you talk as if you were my personal psychiatrist with consistent and uninterrupted access to my instincts.”
The iconic Manchester band split in 1987, due to conflicts between the two band members, and Morrissey, 62, who is known for his controversial opinions, wants Marr, 58, to stop making out that he is to “blame for everything”.
He continued: “We haven’t known each other for 35 years – which is many lifetimes ago. When we met you and I were not successful. We both helped each other become whatever it is we are today. Can you not just leave it at that?
“Must you persistently, year after year, decade after decade, blame me for everything … from the 2007 Solomon Islands tsunami to the dribble on your grandma’s chin?”
In the lengthy rant, Morrissey told Marr to “stop using my name as click-bait”.
He said: “Our period together was many lifetimes ago, and a lot of blood has streamed under the bridge since then. There comes a time when you must take responsibility for your own actions and your own career, with which I wish you good health to enjoy. Just stop using my name as click-bait.”
Morrissey also insisted he has always “applauded” the guitar legend’s “genius” as a solo artist.
He concluded: “I have not ever attacked your solo work or your solo life, and I have openly applauded your genius during the days of ‘Louder than bombs’ and ‘Strangeways, here we come’, yet you have positioned yourself ever-ready as rent-a-quote whenever the press require an ugly slant on something I half-said during the last glacial period as the Colorado River began to carve out the Grand Canyon.
“Please stop. It is 2022, not 1982.”
In his latest interview with Uncut magazine, Marr explained the reason he and Morrissey are not “close” is because they are “so different”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Keith Urban has filled some gaps left open at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas after Adele postponed her residency.
The ‘I Drink Wine’ singer was forced to postpone her shows at the iconic venue in Sin City at the last minute after COVID hit her crew and they were “absolutely destroyed” by delivery delays.
Adele’s run was due to kick off on January 21, and the 33-year-old superstar is to reschedule the dates “as soon as possible”.
In the meantime, Keith has announced five gigs between March 25 and April 2 at the world-famous Colosseum inside Caesars Palace.
The 54-year-old New Zealand-born star posted a video on Twitter and was joined by his cat Louis to make the announcement.
He tweeted alongside the clip: “VEGAS !!!!! We’re coming BACK to the @ColosseumatCP ! See you SO soon. (sic)”
Keith – who is married to Nicole Kidman – had to postpone the rest of his Vegas residency due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, only performing four shows, but he was back on stage in September 2021.
Adele had broken down in tears and admitted she was “embarrassed” by her delay.
She said in a video shared to her social media channels: “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready.
“We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid. Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show.
“I’m gutted — I’m sorry it’s so last minute, we’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time. I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that traveled to get [to the show]. I’m really, really sorry.”
The ‘Can I Get It’ singer pledged to reschedule the cancelled shows.
She added: “We’re going to reschedule all of the dates, we’re on it right now, and I’m gonna finish my show and get it to where it’s supposed to be. We’ve been up against so much and it just ain’t ready. I’m really sorry.”
The ‘Weekends With Adele’ residency was announced in November.
The ‘Easy On Me’ hitmaker was scheduled to perform two shows at the venue every weekend until 16 April, 2022, a run of 12 weeks.
It is not yet known what the new start date for the concert series will be.

OHMYGOSSIP — A Blur reunion has been suggested to honour the man who signed the Britpop legends.
Andy Ross, the co-founder of Food Records who signed the ‘Song 2’ rockers in 1990, sadly passed away aged 66 this week.
And ‘Right Here, Right Now’ hitmakers Jesus Jones have called on their former label mates to perform in his memory.
In a touching tribute on Twitter, the group wrote: “We’re heartbroken at the loss of Andy Ross, one half of the mighty Food Records.
“Without him, we’d have never been able to do what we did. We’ll always be grateful, and we’ll always miss him. Goodbye boss xxx.”
Blur sticksman Dave Rowntree penned: “Really sad to learn of the passing of my friend and mentor Andy Ross. He was one of the good ones – generous, warm, and kind.”
And Jesus Jones have reached out to Damon Albarn and co to ask them to get the band back together.
They wrote: “Hey [Blur], what do you say we get Food back together, and do something for Andy? Just a thought x.”
The ‘Info Freak’ group – who are fronted by Mike Edwards – then called on all Food Records alumni to get together to honour Andy’s life and career, tagging the likes of Dubstar, The Supernaturals and Crazyhead.
They added: “Hey @blurofficial, what do you say we get Food back together, and do something for Andy? @dubstarUK @t_supernaturals @CrazyheadUK @DieselParkWest_ Just a thought x.”
Blur haven’t toured together since their 2015 run in support of their comeback LP, ‘The Magic Whip’, though Damon reunited with Dave, Graham and bassist Alex James at his Africa Express show in his hometown of Leytonstone in 2019.
Frontman Damon – who recently dropped his second solo record, ‘The Nearer the Fountain, More Pure the Stream Flows’ – recently teased that he’s set to start discussing a reunion with his bandmates.
Asked if Blur is finished, he insisted: “Not at all.”
The 53-year-old star continued: “I am just about to have a conversation with people about Blur and I would love to sing all those songs again. I miss the songs. I miss playing with Blur.”
In August, lead guitarist Graham Coxon insisted he’d be up for reuniting with the group when the time is right.
He said: “That’s always been the thing with Blur – they’ll do it when they really need to and not for any other reason. It doesn’t really seem genuine to just get back together and just do gigs for a bit of spondage. We need to have some sort of focus for how we would work.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bryan Adams has shared the new single ‘Never Gonna Rain’.
The Canadian rock god has given fans another taste of his upcoming 15th studio album, ‘So Happy It Hurts’, which arrives on March 11.
Speaking of the upbeat nature of the number, Bryan said: “The ultimate optimist is someone who keeps on expecting the best, even in the face of the worst. Living in the moment, instead of in fear. Turning the negatives into positives. Taking the rain and turning it into a gift.”
The latest track is the fourth single to be taken from the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Shine a Light’, following the release of the anthemic title track and subsequent singles ‘On The Road’ and ‘Kick Ass’.
Meanwhile, the ‘Summer of ’69’ hitmaker recently admitted he would be “thrilled” if no one remembered him.

He said: “I couldn’t care less if I’m remembered or not. In fact, if I woke up tomorrow and there was no trace of me on the internet, I’d be thrilled.”
However, Bryan admitted he’s had one legacy suggested to him that he enjoys the idea of.
He continued: “Although… I once did an interview with a Brazilian journalist who asked me if I knew how many kisses my songs were responsible for.
“I had never thought about that before. He calculated that it would be in the billions. I really liked that.
“Imagine being responsible for a billion kisses! That would be okay with me, because without love we are nothing. So to be able to bring a little love into this world… that means everything to me.”
While he’s photographed a range of people and places over the years, it’s his portraits of his family that mean the most to the ‘Heaven’ hitmaker.
Asked which of his photos say the most about him, he said: “The photos of my family. I treasure them more than anything.
“I sat with my grandfather and photographed him when he was 89. We talked about his time as a Royal Engineer in the World Wars. He was so humble. I miss my grandparents terribly.”
Bryan embarks on the UK leg of the ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour in spring, kicking off in Brighton on May 13, and wrapping at the Blickling Estate in Norfolk on July 8.

OHMYGOSSIP — Damon Albarn said he was “cast into the social media abyss” while addressing his spat with Taylor Swift at his Los Angeles concert.
The Blur and Gorillaz rocker incurred the wrath of the ‘Lover’ hitmaker by downplaying her songwriting ability in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, and she called him out on his “damaging” remarks.
During his solo gig at the Walt Disney Concert Hall this week, the 53-year-old musician told the crowd before performing ‘Song 2’ that journalist Mikael Wood had asked him to play the Blur hit “before he cast me into the social media abyss” with his question regarding Taylor.
He added: “You can judge for yourself. I think I’m becoming old-fashioned.”
The row ensued after the outlet promoted the interview in a tweet that read: “Albarn also spills his thoughts on some of today’s chart-topping music artists.
“Billie Eilish? “I think she’s exceptional.”
“Taylor Swift? She doesn’t write her own songs.”
The 32-year-old pop star retweeted the post and fumed: “I was such a big fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL of my own songs. Your hot take is completely false and SO damaging. You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really f***** up to try and discredit my writing. WOW.
“PS I wrote this tweet all by myself in case you were wondering.”
The Britpop legend – who has received death threats from Taylor’s fans -suggested his remarks had been sensationalised to attract readers and apologised “unreservedly and unconditionally”.
He replied: “I totally agree with you. i had a conversation about songwriting and sadly it was reduced to clickbait. I apologise unreservedly and unconditionally. The last thing I would want to do is discredit your songwriting. I hope you understand. – Damon.”
In the interview, the ‘Parklife’ singer insisted he wasn’t “hating” on Taylor but suggested collaborating with other songwriters was “very different” to taking sole responsibility for her work.
He said: “She doesn’t write her own songs. Co-writing is very different to writing. I’m not hating on anybody, I’m just saying there’s a big difference between a songwriter and a songwriter who co-writes.”
He went on to praise Billie Eilish, who writes her songs with her brother, Finneas.
He added: “A really interesting songwriter is Billie Eilish and her brother. I’m more attracted to that than to Taylor Swift. It’s just darker – less endlessly upbeat. Way more minor and odd. I think she’s exceptional.”
Everyone from Taylor’s collaborators, including Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, to Liam Gallagher and Jedward, and even the new President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, spoke out in support of the ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker.
The latter tweeted: “Here in Chile you have a huge group of supporters who knows that you write you own songs from the heart. Dont take seriously guys that need to insult or lie to get attention. Hugs from the south Taylor.”

The hip-hop icon – whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III – will play the British capital on June 10, the day before he headlines Manchester’s Parklife Festival in the North of England.
The ‘Candy Shop’ rapper last performed in the British capital in September 2018 at The O2 arena.
Meanwhile, 50 recently admitted he doesn’t believe in being “too rich”.
The ‘Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter’ author doesn’t believe people can ever have “enough” money, as there are always bigger and better things to spend money on.

The ‘In Da Club’ hitmaker – who was estimated to have a net worth of $150 million by Forbes in 2015 – thinks that his childhood experiences have helped to inspire his success.
He said: “I look at my journey, some of the decisions that my mom made have guided mine, and it’s because people from her life had what was a representation of financial freedom, they had those nice things in front of me. They got everything that you would want.
“It kind of led me down the same path of the hustling and going to do different things, and, you know, I just hit the roof of that and wanted to do more, so I got involved in music and entertainment where we do things that exceed that level of success, completely. The former Smiths guitarist has issued a social media riposte to his old bandmate after he requested that Marr no longer discussed him when being interviewed.
Johnny, 58, wrote on Twitter: “Dear @officialmoz. An ‘open letter’ hasn’t really been a thing since 1953, It’s all ‘social media’ now. Even Donald J Trump had that one down. Also, this fake news business… a bit 2021 yeah? #makingindiegreatagain”

OHMYGOSSIP — Post Malone isn’t bothered about landing number ones anymore.
The ‘Sunflower’ rapper doesn’t want to “compromise” his music for the sake of trying to top the charts, admitting he isn’t interested in extending the length of his upcoming album – which is believed to be titled ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’ – even if it means it is more successful.
The 26-year-old hitmaker told Billboard magazine: “I’ve made a lot of compromises, especially musically, but now I don’t feel like I want to anymore. I don’t need a number one – that doesn’t matter to me no more, and at a point, it did.”
The three-time American Music Award winner believes it’s not worth fighting against “your gut vibe on anything”.
Post – real name Austin Post – said: “Trying to shove 20 to 25 songs, it doesn’t work. Talking to the label [it’s like], ‘Oh, if you have less songs, you’re not going to stream as much,’ but the whole thing is that you don’t want to compromise your art and your gut vibe on anything.”
Earlier this month, Post Malone’s manager claimed his record label delayed the release of his new album.
Dre London alleged the 26-year-old megastar’s follow-up to 2019’s acclaimed ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ is “done” and “ready” and that the only thing holding it back is the label.
Alongside two snaps with the ‘rockstar’ hitmaker, Dre wrote on Instagram: “Our sync & energy always on a Insane level!! Album has been done!! We Ready!! OHMYGOSSIP — Eddie Van Halen has been remembered on what would’ve been his 67th birthday.
The Van Halen star passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer in October 2020 at the age of 65, and his family and friends have taken to social media to the recall their happy memories of the music legend.
Eddie’s son Wolfgang Van Halen wrote: “Happy birthday, Pop. I love and miss you more than you could ever know.”
The late star’s brother Alex Van Halen – who plays drums in the band – wrote: “Hey Ed, Happy birthday! May your light never dim. Love you, miss you and btw… Wolf is killin’ it. (sic)”
Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony added: “Happy birthday Ed, I miss ya brother! You were such a huge part of my life, I will always celebrate and wave the VH flag high!! (sic)”
In August, Eddie’s son Wolfgang admitted the death of his father – who was ranked number eight in Rolling Stone magazine’s list of 100 greatest guitarists – “still didn’t feel real”.
He wrote on Instagram: “I’ve had so many dreams lately where Pop and I are just doing normal things and then I realize it’s a dream, stop whatever I’m doing and hug him for as long as I can until I wake up.
“I miss the f*** out of him. I can’t believe he’s not here anymore. Still doesn’t feel real. I’m doing my best, Pop (sic).”
Wolfgang previously insisted it was important for him to “be his own person” on his debut album ‘Mammoth WVH’, and admitted he finds songwriting “really therapeutic”.
He said: “It’s as personal as can be. Songwriting is a really therapeutic thing for me, so I was working out a lot of stuff with these songs.
“Most of my lyrics are written at something or someone. It’s almost like an amalgamation of … You know how you always win arguments in the shower? It’s like that.
“It’s like anybody who’s ever done me wrong or used me, or lied to me, amalgamate into this one being that I write lyrics at.”

The ‘Blinding Lights’ singer broke the record previously set by Justin Bieber on Saturday (22.01.22) after amassing 85.66 million monthly listeners on the streaming service, just weeks after releasing his fifth studio album, ‘Dawn FM’.
Justin’s previous record was set with just under 84 million monthly listeners.
Meanwhile, The Weeknd recently teased ‘Dawn FM’ is part of a trilogy and a third installment will follow.
Alongside the artwork for his latest LP, which is a photograph of his older self, The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – told his 15.4 million Twitter followers: “I wonder… did you know you’re experiencing a new trilogy?”
The ‘Take My Breath’ hitmaker is yet to provide any more details, such as which three albums will make up the trilogy.
However, many fans believe 2020 LP ‘After Hours’ will be included.
The 31-year-old singer launched ‘Dawn FM’ with the global 103.5 Dawn FM’ livestream experience on the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch and the Amazon Music App.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Mason didn’t know if people would be interested in ‘A Saucerful of Secrets’.
The Pink Floyd drummer is part of the group with Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp, long-time Floyd collaborator Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken and at their concerts they perform tracks from the start of the legendary prog rock group’s career such as songs from ‘A Saucerful of Secrets’ and ‘The Piper at the Gates of Dawn’, which featured the group’s late singer-and-guitarist and co-founder Syd Barrett.
But the legendary drummer doubted anyone would care to hear other musicians putting their take on the iconic band’s early songs.
He said: “I would sound too depressing to say I had very low expectations, because it was not really that.
“I just wasn’t sure whether it would interest people.”
However, the shows have proved popular – with even former bandmates David Gilmour and Roger Waters praising their performances.
And Gary believes the secret is they have taken the pomp out of the tunes and made them more “fun” and edgy.
He told MOJO Magazine: “We took the pomposity out of the music.
“We gave it a little bit more fun, a little bit more edge, a little bit more anarchy here and there.”
The 62-year-old star also addressed people turning their noses up at him stepping in the shoes of Syd – who died in 2006 from pancreatic cancer aged 60.

OHMYGOSSIP — Neve Campbell found it “pretty crazy” that “the guy from the Super Bowl”, The Weeknd, mentioned her on his latest album.
The ‘Scream’ actress is named-dropped by the 31-year-old megastar on his track ‘Here We Go… Again’ on ‘Dawn FM’.
The line goes: “I loved her right, make her scream like Neve Campbell.”
And the 48-year-old star – who reprised her role as Sidney Prescott in Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett’s latest film in the iconic horror franchise – confessed that she had “no idea” who her publicist was talking about when she was informed until it clicked.
Speaking on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’, she said: “How crazy is that? It’s pretty crazy.
“Well at first, my publicist told me, and she was like, ‘The Weeknd,’ and I was like, ‘Wait, which weekend? Last weekend?’ I had no idea what she was talking about.
“And then I realised, ‘Oh, the guy who played at the Super Bowl! That guy!’ How cool.”
The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – headlined the Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show in 2021.
Corden then quipped: “I can only think he’ll be really disappointed if he knows that you described him as the guy from the Super Bowl, given he’s arguably one of the biggest and best-selling artists of his generation.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Take My Breath’ hitmaker recently teased that ‘Dawn FM’ is part of a trilogy.
The ‘Tears in the Club’ singer appeared to reveal that a third album is to follow 2020’s ‘After Hours’ and its follow-up, which was released to acclaim last week.
Alongside the artwork for his latest LP, which is a photograph of his older self, The Weeknd – whose real name is Abel Tesfaye – told his 15.4 million Twitter followers: “I wonder… did you know you’re experiencing a new trilogy?”
The ‘Earned It’ hitmaker is yet to provide any more details, such as which three albums will make up the trilogy.
However, many fans believe ‘After Hours’ will be included.
The ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker launched ‘Dawn FM’ with the global 103.5 Dawn FM’ livestream experience on the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch and the Amazon Music App.
The title track sees Hollywood star Jim Carrey play a radio host, who vows “we’ll be there to hold your hand and guide you through this painless transition”, before launching into the synth-heavy track, ‘Gasoline’.
The star-studded collection also features guest spots from Tyler, the Creator and Lil Wayne, while synth maestro, Oneohtrix Point Never, real name Daniel Lopatin, and Quincy Jones also contributed.

OHMYGOSSIP — Miles Kane has praised Paul O’Grady for appearing on his new album for free.
The ‘Come Closer’ hitmaker had wanted to sample a sketch from the 66-year-old presenter’s former alter ego Lily Savage on his ‘Change The Show’ LP but after discovering it would cost a lot of money to use the clip, the ‘For the Love of Dogs’ star offered to re-record the dialogue for free.
Miles said: “The rights fee from the BBC would have been mental. We contacted Paul, who turned out to be a fan of mine, and he told me, ‘The BBC are tight a****, I’ll do it for you.’
“Paul phoned me to say the lines from the show, with his Jack Russell running down his leg.”
Miles is now keen to get Paul up on stage with him.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “I’d love Paul to compere my show one night – he’s welcome to introduce me at any gig. He’s a diamond.”
Miles previously worked with Lana Del Rey on ‘Loaded’, a track on his 2018 album ‘Coup de Grace’, and the ‘Video Games’ hitmaker added another of their collaborations, ‘Dealer’, to her LP ‘Blue Bannisters’.
And the 35-year-old star teased the pair have other tracks in the pipeline together, though he admitted they will need to get together in the studio to “finesse” them before they are made public.
He said: “We wrote a few tunes together.
“When Lana called to say she wanted to stick ‘Dealer’ on her album, I was made up as it’s a dark tune that’s a belter.
“More of our songs could come out but we’d probably have to get together to finish them.
“We’d need to finesse them a bit, but I’d like it to happen. Never say never.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Eric Clapton believes the theory that people who opted to get vaccinated against COVID-19 fell for “mass formation hypnosis”.
The ‘Layla’ hitmaker – who previously revealed he lost friends due to his anti-vaccine stance – has claimed that subliminal messaging hidden in advertising led people to get the jab.
In an interview for The Real Music Observer YouTube channel, he said: “I didn’t get the memo.
“Whatever the memo was, it hadn’t reached me. Then I started to realise there was really a memo, and a guy, Mattias Desmet [professor of clinical psychology at Ghent University in Belgium], talked about it. And it’s great. The theory of mass formation hypnosis. And I could see it then. Once I kind of started to look for it, I saw it everywhere.
“Then I remembered seeing little things on YouTube which were like subliminal advertising. It had been going on for a long time: that thing about ‘you will own nothing and you will be happy.’ And I thought, ‘What’s that mean?’ And bit by bit, I put a rough kind of jigsaw puzzle together. And that made me even more resolute.”
Psychologists have insisted there is no evidence to suggest a “mass formation psychosis” has occurred amid the global pandemic.
The 76-year-old guitar legend is anti-lockdown and had pledged not to perform at gigs where proof of immunisation against coronavirus is required to attend, despite being double-jabbed.
And his controversial views on the pandemic and teaming up with Van Morrison on the anti-lockdown protest song, ‘Stand and Deliver’, saw Clapton’s friends and peers snub him.
The ‘Wonderful Tonight’ hitmaker – who is father to daughters Ruth, 37, Julie, 20, Ella, 19, and 16-year-old Sophie – said: “My family and friends think I am a crackpot anyway.
“Over the last year, there’s been a lot of disappearing – a lot of dust around, with people moving away quite quickly.
“It has, for me, refined the kind of friendship I have.
“And it’s dwindled down to the people that I obviously really need and love.
“Inside my family, that became quite pivotal … I’ve got teenage girls, and an older girl who’s in he thirties – and they’ve all had to kind of give me leeway because I haven’t been able to convince any of them.”
Clapton – who is married to Melia McEnery – added: “I would try to reach out to fellow musicians and sometimes I just don’t hear from them.
“My phone doesn’t ring very often.
“I don’t get that many texts and emails anymore.”
