OHMYGOSSIP — Michael Ball and Alfie Boe have been announced for Hampton Court Palace Festival 2022.
The popular musical duo – also known as Ball and Boe – are set to perform at the historical landmark on June 24, as part of a series of major outdoor shows.
The pair will also be performing at Longleat in Wiltshire on June 28, before heading to Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire on July 4, and Chewton Glen in New Milton, Hampshire, on July 12.
Together, the 59-year-old theatre star and the 48-year-old tenor have sold more than 1.3 million albums in the UK, won two Classic BRIT Awards, and sold out two headline arena tours.
Kacey Musgraves, McFly and The Human League were recently confirmed for the Hampton Court Palace Festival.
The country-pop star, ‘Obviously’ hitmakers and synth-pop legends will take to the stage as part of a star-studded line-up at the summer concert series in Surrey this June, joining George Benson, Crowded House, Elbow and Jack Savoretti.
McFly will take to the historical landmark’s intimate auditorium at the Base Court, set against the background of Henry VIII’s magnificent Tudor Palace, on June 15.
Grammy-winner Kacey is confirmed for June 22, with the ‘Don’t You Want Me’ hitmakers performing the following day.
Elbow will play the open-air extravaganza on June 11, soul and jazz legend George plays June 16, Jack on June 17, and Crowded House on June 25.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ricky Wilson claims he listened to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’ “15 times a day” to get through the COVID-19 lockdown.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman has revealed the one song that he had on repeat to make staying inside bearable amid the global pandemic was the Grammy-winner’s 2014 hit.
Asked what song he would choose to play at a party, Ricky replied: “‘Shake It Off’ by Taylor Swift got me through lockdown. I probably listened to it 15 times a day.”
In the Q A with The Guardian newspaper, the ‘I Predict A Riot’ hitmaker also confessed that he felt “misplaced snobbery” towards Just Jack’s ‘Starz in Their Eyes’ because it rivalled his band’s 2007 hit ‘Ruby’ in the charts.
However, he needn’t have worried, as ‘Ruby’ became their first number-one single in the UK.
The 44-year-old singer admitted: “I definitely had some misplaced snobbery towards ‘Starz in Their Eyes’ by Just Jack because it was in the charts around the same time as we had Ruby. I used to say it was rubbish, even though I secretly knew every word.”
Ricky predicts that ‘Ruby’ will be played at his funeral, but he begged for ‘Starz in their Eyes’ not to be.
He said when asked to name the song he wants to be played at his funeral: “I don’t care. They can play what they want. I won’t be there. I assume they’ll play ‘Ruby’. Or they can play ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’ by John Denver. Just as long as it’s not ‘Starz in Their Eyes’ by Just Jack.”
The ‘Everyday I Love You Less and Less’ star also quipped that the best tune to have sex to is the theme to police procedural television series ‘Law Order: Special Victims Unit’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kid Cudi has branded Kanye West a “dinosaur” after the rapper announced he won’t feature on ‘Donda 2’.
Kanye, 44, took to Instagram to share a message which read: “Just so everyone knows Cudi will not be on Donda because he’s friends with you know who. We all speak in Billie language now.”
He tagged his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and Cudi in the post, which appeared to reference his one-sided feud with Billie Eilish and his dislike for Kim’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson.
However, Cudi, 38 – who last collaborated with Ye on 2021’s Donda album – insisted he had no intention of appearing on the record, replying: “Too bad I don’t wanna be on ur album u f***** dinosaur hahaha. everyone knows ive been the best thing about ur albums since i met u. Ima pray for you brother (sic).”
He later added on Twitter: “We talked weeks ago about this. You’re whack for flipping the script and posting this lie just for a look on the internet. You ain’t no friend. BYE.
“God opens the door so the wrong people can exit ur life (sic).”
The message came days after Kanye hit out at Eilish on Instagram, alleging she had dissed his friend Travis Scott during a recent gig. when she stopped her concert to help a fan in the crowd and said: “I wait for the people to be OK before I keep going.”
Claiming this was an attack on Travis after his Astroworld concert tragedy, in which a number of people died after the crowd got out of control, Kanye wrote: “Come on Billie we love you. Please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives. No one intended this to happen. Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened, and yes Trav will be with me at Coachella but now I need Billie to apologize before I perform (sic).”
However, Billie replied: “Literally never said a thing about Travis. Was just helping a fan.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Foals star Jimmy Smith thinks he’s been “lucky” amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The guitarist has been living in the US for the last two years and he’s now feeling “totally different, in a good way” compared to his pre-pandemic self.
Reflecting on the last couple of years, he explained: “I feel totally different, in a good way. I’m lucky in that these last two years of the pandemic have had positive effects on me.”
Jimmy felt worn down by the “repetitive machine” of the music industry before the pandemic struck.
The musician visited his girlfriend in Los Angeles when COVID arrived in the US and he’s now decided to base himself on the West Coast of America.
He told NME: “As a band, we haven’t really stopped for 15 years. You see other bands doing stuff when you’re not busy and you just think, ‘Oh, we should be doing this’. That all just went away because it had to.”
Jimmy believes that the break has been beneficial for the band.
And he thinks that their new attitude is apparent on their latest album, ‘Life Is Yours’.
Jimmy – who stars in the group alongside Yannis Philippakis and Jack Bevan – explained: “Everyone’s position got stronger.
“Now it’s just the three of us, there’s no hiding any more. When we were a five-piece with Walter [Gervers] and Edwin [Congreave], you could take a backseat.
“Now all eyes are on everyone and you need to step up. I’ve got to say more now. I finally feel comfortable calling myself a ‘songwriter’, so I can be more confident with that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles has been spotted filming a music video on a giant bed outside Buckingham Palace.
The 28-year-old singer – who is reportedly set to release his third solo album this year – was seen lounging on the large mobile bed, wearing polka dot pyjamas and a pink and green scarf, while surrounded by women in similar attire.
A source told The Sun: “There was loads of security around him trying to move people away and the road was closed.
“They shut down the Mall for him to film on a big bed surrounded by women dressed as hippies.
“Harry was wearing retro clothes and it was reminiscent of John Lennon’s famous bed moment with Yoko Ono.
“He was in the moment and not all distracted by people watching. It was freezing cold so at least he had bed covers to warm him up.”
Harry’s last album was 2019’s ‘Fine Line’ and since then he has gone on to film the movies, ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ and ‘My Policeman’, along with a post-credits scene for Marvel’s ‘Eternals’.
Harry has reportedly been working on the new album since early 2020, with a source previously saying: “Harry started working on the album in early 2020 and had a few writing sessions under his belt before the pandemic really took hold.
“As a result plans were put on ice but most of the record ended up being recorded in the UK.
“Right now exact details are top secret but the track listing should be decided soon.
“Harry is really excited about the album.”
After the completed his 42-date ‘Love on Tour’ shows in the US last year, he hinted to fans that he would be back “very soon”.
He tweeted: “Thank you for 42 special nights. It’s been a privilege to play for you the last few months. To the band, the crew, and everyone working on this tour, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. The energy you brought to this one has left me feeling completely overwhelmed with joy.

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher’s upcoming album is “a bit peculiar” – and he’ll blame the COVID-19 pandemic if people don’t like it.
The ‘Everything’s Electric’ singer has worked with a range of people – including regular collaborators Andrew Wyatt and Greg Kurstin, as well as Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig – on ‘C’Mon You Know’ and he admitted fans may be surprised by the experimental nature of some of the tracks, but he’s ready with excuses if it proves to be unpopular.
He said: “It’s a bit peculiar in places, which is good: 80 per cent madness and 20 per cent classic.
“If you’re going to start doing stuff like that on your third album, it helps if there’s a bit of Covid about.
“Because if it doesn’t take off, and people go, ‘I’m not sure about this, it’s a bit weird,’ we can blame it on the virus and go back to the classic stuff.”
A week after the album is released in May, Liam will headline two sold-out shows at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire, the site of his former band Oasis’ legendary gigs in 1996 and he’s expecting the concerts will annoy his estranged brother and former bandmate, Noel Gallagher.
Asked if he thinks his success bothers Noel, he told the Sunday Times Culture magazine: “Look, it’s got to, hasn’t it? I’m sure deep down he’s happy, he’s not all bad. But there’s going to be a bit of ‘the f*****’s out and about again’.
“If he was doing Knebworth I’d be livid. I don’t care how much money you’ve got, how many houses you’ve got, how many celebrity mates, when you get home you’d be sitting there thinking ‘f***er’. But the geezer’s got many faces, so he can hide behind one of them.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Blunt’s ‘You’re Beautiful’ was used by police in New Zealand to try and deter COVID-19 protestors.
Barry Manilow’s greatest hits – including ‘Mandy’ and ‘Could It Be Magic’ – were played on a 15-minute loop in an attempt to disperse the crowds protesting the government’s COVID-19 mandate in the capital city of Wellington.
Sharing the news article on Twitter, former army officer James, 47, wrote: “Give me a shout if this doesn’t work. @NZPolice.”
And it just so happens his 2005 hit ‘You’re Beautiful’ did end up being used by police, but failed to stop the protests.
The BBC reports that it made no difference, with the protestors blasting out Twisted Sister’s ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ in response.
Earlier this week, NZ police arrested and charged more than 100 protestors with trespassing or obstruction.
The anger is aimed at Jacinda Ardern’s government’s strict coronavirus rules, including minimum 10-day isolation and a vaccine mandate.
As well as playing music, protestors were soaked by sprinklers, but responded by digging trenches and making drainpipes to divert the water.
Meanwhile, James recently hit the headlines when he jokingly threatened to release new music if Spotify doesn’t remove Joe Rogan’s controversial podcast.
After Neil Young and Joni Mitchell demanded their tracks were taken off the streaming service due to their objections to podcaster Rogan spreading false information regarding the coronavirus vaccine, the ‘Bonfire Heart’ singer quipped he will do the opposite and release more music in protest.
He tweeted: “‘If @Spotify doesn’t immediately remove @JoeRogan, I will release new music onto the platform. #youwerebeautiful.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Arlo Parks’ new single was inspired by Madonna.
The 21-year-old singer admits that her break-up song ‘Softly’ was inspired by a number of different artists, including Madonna.
Asked about the influences behind the song, she shared: “There was Mazzy Star, but there was also Objekt, that techno DJ. There was a bit of Madonna. There was a bit of MF Doom.
“Literally, it’s always all over the place and everyone’s like, ‘Wait, what?’ And Jai Paul as well. Jai Paul’s a big influence.”
The ‘Too Good’ hitmaker – who received critical acclaim for her 2021 album ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams’ – also revealed that her track ‘Black Dog’ was inspired by the “inner turmoil” she felt when she witnessed a close friend struggle with her mental health.
She told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: “It was one of my closest friends [who inspired ‘Black Dog’] and we’re still best friends now. And we met at school when we were like 13 in Spanish class, and she was just in this really kind of deep pit in terms of her mental health. And there was this real sense of helplessness.
“I think it’s that, where it’s like you would do anything to either take that pain onto yourself or try and solve things, but it’s in the hook. Sometimes it is for no reason. Sometimes it’s not like, ‘Okay, what is causing this? Can we solve this? Can we have this conversation? Do you need water? Do you need food? Do you want to go to this place?’
“But sometimes even trying to address those elements, it’s just like an inner turmoil.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Luke Bryan wants Lionel Richie and Katy Perry to join him on stage during his Las Vegas residency.
The ‘One Margarita’ singer kicked off his concert series at Resorts World Las Vegas on Friday (11.02.22) and with the ‘All Night Long’ hitmaker in the midst of his own run of shows at the Wynn Las Vegas and Katy having her own residency there too, the country crooner hopes his ‘American Idol’ co-stars will come and sing with him.
He said: “I hope that Katy and I and Lionel’s world intersect where we can get on the stage with one another.”
But Luke joked the pair are not the only stars he hopes will join him on stage.
He said: “With so many artists and singers that come through, I mean, there’s no telling [who could appear].
“Whenever they’re in town, they better not call me and tell me they’re in town, ’cause I’m going to give them an ultimatum to come by here and get on stage with me.”
The 45-year-old star has been given “a lot of advice” by Katy – whose ‘Play’ residency takes place at the same venue – and Lionel ahead of starting his concert series.
He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Katy, I’ve been talking to her… She said, ‘It’s just a big, big stage.’…
“We were on [the ‘American Idol’] set and I’m like, ‘Man, I’m worried about this Vegas thing.’ Lionel said, ‘You’ll be all right, little buddy.'”
The ‘Country Girl’ hitmaker wants to put on an “energetic” show for fans.
He said: “I don’t take myself very seriously, to just stand there and try to be real theatrical. I wanna be energetic. [I want to put on a] rockin’ show where people are just having fun. I want moments where I interact with the crowd too.”
Luke is in awe of the “big, brand new, amazing, state-of-the-art theatre” and its “impressive” video panels that “truly blow your mind.”
He added: “The most critical thing in entertainment is walking out there and being confident and knowing you got the show handled, and we’ve got that handled. We’re going to have a great time.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kygo found it “very cool” to be part of DNCE’s comeback.
The ‘Cake By the Ocean’ hitmakers – comprising Joe Jonas, JinJoo Lee and Jack Lawless – announced their return earlier this month and the 30-year-old DJ and producer was delighted to be a part of their new single ‘Dancing Feet’, describing the collaboration as “fun and organic”.
He told People magazine: “I only met Joe briefly at a festival a couple of years ago, but he’s a super nice guy. Joe recorded vocals and it just sounded amazing.
“I feel like we’re all just very excited about this song, and obviously it’s very cool to be part of their comeback.”
The Norwegian star is also hoping a collaboration with Coldplay is on the cards as he admitted getting into the recording studio with their frontman Chris Martin was “a dream”.
He said: “I’ve actually been in the studio with Chris Martin, who’s definitely one of my favorite artists of all time, a dream for me. Just being in the studio and jamming with him was definitely a very cool experience.
“Definitely, Coldplay would be great. So hopefully we’ll get a song together.
“The Weeknd has been on top of my list for a while as well, so I think Coldplay and the Weeknd would be top two dream collabs right now.”
The EDM star loves travelling the world performing for millions but admitted the jet lag is “exhausting” but he’s able to draw energy from a crowd.
Explaining “sleep” is key to keeping adrenaline high, he added: “[And also] feeling the energy from the crowd.
“You kind of forget that you’re tired, and it’s just a lot of fun.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga is set to perform her biggest-ever UK solo show.
The ‘Bad Romance’ hitmaker was originally set to take to the stage at north London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2020 as part of her ‘Chromatica’ world tour in 2020 but it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and then the rearranged date of July 2021 was still unable to happen so the concert was shelved.
However, she’s now set to announce the gig at the venue – which has a capacity of 62, 850 – has been rearranged at last and it is expected to be so popular, her team are considering adding a second night.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Lady Gaga hasn’t performed in the UK for ages, so it will be huge for her fans to see her on British soil again. She was supposed to headline the venue in 2020 but it was axed due to Covid, so everyone will be pleased to hear it is finally happening.
“It has been such an incredible few years for Gaga’s career that a second date is on the cards too.”
The ‘House of Gucci’ actress was supposed to tour the UK in 2018 but played just two shows in Birmingham before cancelling the rest of her concerts due to “severe pain”.
Gaga hasn’t actually played a solo headline show in London since 2014.
While it is unclear when the rearranged date will take place, Gaga recently announced she will be celebrating “her love of the Great American Songbook” with another ‘Jazz & Piano’ residency at the world-famous Dolby Live Park MGM hotel and casino in Last Vegas this April and May, three years after her original concert series in the city.
The ‘Million Reasons’ singer will be performing songs from her acclaimed second duets LP with jazz icon Tony Bennett, ‘Love For Sale’.
Some dates of the residency had to be shelved in 2020 because of the pandemic.
The new run kicks off on April 14 and wraps on May 1.

OHMYGOSSIP — Syl Johnson has died aged 85.
The Mississippi-born soul and blues legend, who was dubbed the “most-sampled” artist in hip-hop, has passed away.
His family confirmed: “It is with extreme sadness that our family announces the passing of Soul & Blues Hall of Fame Legend, Syl Johnson (born Sylvester Thompson in Holly Springs, MS). Dad, Brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Friend & Artist, he lived his life as a singer, musician, and entrepreneur who loved black music.
“A fiery, fierce, fighter, always standing for the pursuit of justice as it related to his music and sound, he will truly be missed by all who crossed his path. His catalog and legacy will be remembered as impeccable and a historical blueprint to all who experience it.”
A cause of death is not known at this time.
The late star’s 1967 track ‘Different Strokes’ – believed to be sampled more than 300 times – was used on the likes of Public Enemy’s ‘Fight the Power’ and ‘Fear of a Black Planet’, and Kanye West and Jay-Z’s ‘The Joy’.
Despite being sampled so frequently, Syl didn’t always receive royalties and slapped Cypress Hill and Kanye and Jay-Z with multi-million dollar lawsuits for copyright infringement.
However, all was resolved and he continued to bank cheques for the popular song.
Syl became a household name in the 60s and 70s and was signed to Chicago’s Twinight Records.
However, he released hits on Hi Records in the 70s.
Syl released his debut album, ‘Dresses Too Short’, in 1968, featuring his first hit ‘Come On Sock It to Me’.
He largely retired in the 80s, however, he returned for a duet with his daughter, Syleena Johnson, in the mid-90s.
Syleena, 45, went on to provide the vocals on Kanye’s ‘All Falls Down’ from his 2004 LP ‘The College Dropout’.
In 2010, the Numero Group released a retrospective of Syl’s work, which was nominated for Best Historical Album and Best Liner notes at the Grammys.
The label tweeted in response to his death: “If any single artist could be considered a mascot for Numero, Mississippi-born soul man Syl Johnson was it. He was the first major artist to give our humble Southside Chicago operation a shot—even if he did threaten to sue us in that first conversation.”
Quoting the musician, they added: “I made my opportunities, but I never got the breaks I should have gotten. I was a jack-of-all-trades. More soul than Marvin, more funk than James. If I’d gone pop, you’d be talkin’ about me, not them. I rate right at the top, though I’ve been underrated all my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Joe Armstrong’s car has been reported as stolen.
The Green Day frontman has appealed for information regarding the whereabouts of the missing 1962 Chevy II in Costa Mesa, California.
The punk rocker and classic car collector is devastated as the Chevy is “near and dear” to the ‘Basket Case’ group.
Alongside a picture of the white car with “stolen” in red written across the image, Billie Joe wrote on Instagram: “This car is near and dear to all our hearts and has been in the GD family for over 30 years.
“Please send any sighting, tips or info to the Costa Mesa police. Incident #22-002015, 22-002016. Please call 714-754-5280 please re-post, lets all help find this car!! (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘American Idiot’ hitmakers have been teasing new music.
A preview of a song has been played in two videos shared on the band’s Instagram page with ‘1972’ appearing in both clips.
Green Day have been busy penning new music amid the COVID-19 pandemic and haven’t ruled out dropping a new record.
Asked about the possibility of him and bandmates – Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt – working on a new LP, Billie said in 2020: “It’s possible.
“Whether we do a full-length album or an EP or just a song, we have a lot of different options. It’s a matter of whenever the right moment happens.
“That’s the beauty of the way you can put music out these days. You don’t have to wait for any gatekeeper to tell you that the timing is right.”
The 49-year-old rock star also previously revealed their wish to work with ‘Father of All…’ producer Butch Walker again.
He said: “I’ve been writing a lot of music, and I had all these melodies in my head, so I wrote, like, six songs since all of this has been going on.
​“I don’t know when I can get together with Mike [Dirnt, bass] and Tré [Cool, drums], but I told them to make sure that they’re quarantined for now, and then I hope down the road we can get back in the studio with [‘Father of All…’ producer] Butch Walker.”
‘Father of All…’ was released in 2020.

OHMYGOSSIP — Johnny Marr would have used drugs and alcohol if he thought they would make him “more interesting”.
The 58-year-old musician hasn’t drunk booze since the mid-2000s and admitted that things would be “tougher” if he did, comparing his thoughts to the late teetotal singer Bob Marley.
He said: “It’s worth saying that if I thought that drugs and booze would make me a more interesting musician I would do it.
“I don’t go around skipping through cornfields, by any means; I have my issues just like anybody else. But it’d be tougher if I was a boozer, that’s for sure. I just don’t think it’s a particularly happening drug. I don’t think Bob Marley thought that either.”
The ‘No Time To Die’ guitarist – who shot to fame as a member of The Smiths and has since released a string of solo albums – went on to claim that giving up alcohol has played a “massive part” in his life today.
Responding to a reader’s question in The Guardian, he said: “Giving up alcohol has played a massive part in the last 20-odd years of my life, from day one. Without getting judgy, because people get very touchy about this s***, I can really recommend it. I’m not coming from a place of abstinence or a place of “my drink and drugs hell”, but for me, I just thought it was a shit drug, and other drugs were better. No, seriously, if anyone gave me a pill that would make me feel that s***** the next day and say such stupid things then I just wouldn’t be taking it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miles Kane has hinted at The Last Shadow Puppets reuniting.
The 35-year-old rocker formed the side project with Arctic Monkeys frontman and longtime pal Alex Turner in 2008, with the supergroup – completed by James Ford and Zach Dawes – releasing two studio albums: 2008’s ‘The Age of the Understatement’ and 2016’s ‘Everything You’ve Come to Expect’.
Although Miles – who released his fourth solo album ‘Change The Show’ last month – insisted they have no plans to record new music anytime soon, he hasn’t ruled out them adding another LP to their catalogue.
Speaking to Music Week, Miles said: “We won’t be doing anything in the near future, but I think it’d be rude not to do a trilogy. The trilogy would be the icing, wouldn’t it?”
Back in 2018, Miles insisted “never say never” when it comes to them returning.
He said: “The Last Shadow Puppets was good, I had great fun with that. Bring them back? Who knows, yeah! Never say never.”
The ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’ hitmaker was previously a frontman for The Rascals before embarking on his solo endeavours, and after having been friends with Alex for several years, he’s often been compared to the superstar rocker.
Miles admits the comparisons used to upset him when he was younger, but says he now has the confidence to know he’s “amazing” on his own.
He said previously: “I think it’s inevitable – I used to feel the comparison when I was younger, but I don’t really care now, you know, you think what you think. Despite feeling the scrutiny in his early days, Miles now even sees the comparisons as a good thing.
He added: “I don’t blame people if they want to compare – it’s going to happen, so it’s cool. And it’s not like it’s not a bad thing, is it? His new album is great, it’s fantastic.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello has teased a new track on social media.
The ‘Don’t Go Yet’ hitmaker took to Instagram to share a video of her lip-syncing to the new tune and also hinted fans won’t have long to wait for her next album, as she showed a picture of her typing out her “album thank-yous” on her Story.
Camila’s last studio effort was 2019’s ‘Romance’.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran recently teased he has a song with Camila on the way.
The 30-year-old megastar let slip that he and the ‘Havana’ hitmaker – who he previously teamed up with on ‘South of the Border’, which was released on his 2019 record ‘No.6 Collaborations Project’ – have a tune ready to go for 2022.
When asked in December if the 24-year-old star features on his next single, ‘The Joker and the Queen’, he said: “No, but actually we have done a song together that is going to come out next year.”
News of Ed and Camila’s latest collaboration came after the Cuban-born star admitted he and Taylor Swift are her songwriting “heroes”.
She said: “I’ve been lucky to have people at different times show me kindness. When I was like 16, 17, and I was still in Fifth Harmony, I fell in love with songwriting.
“I remember approaching Taylor Swift and being like, ‘Hey, what do you do when you’re in a writing slump?’ or whatever, asking her for advice, and she showed me a lot of kindness. Ed Sheeran too.
“These were my songwriting heroes, so I was stoked that they were even talking to me.”
