OHMYGOSSIP — The Wanted have released ‘Gold Forever (For Tom)’ to raise funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.
In honour of their late bandmate Tom Parker – who died aged 33 on March 30, 17 months after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour – the ‘Glad You Came’ hitmakers have made the stripped-back rendition of their 2011 Comic Relief single available to download and stream to benefit the charity close to their hearts.
Max George, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuinness and Siva Kaneswaran performed the new version at Tom’s memorial service last week.
After posting the track on social media, fans requested an official release for the song.
A press release read: “The Wanted, Island Records and the song’s writers and producers will be donating all net proceeds to The Brain Tumour Charity; a UK-based charity dedicated to funding research, raising awareness and providing support and information to people with brain tumours.”
The “net proceeds for the first 12 months from release” will go to the charity.
Tom’s widow Kelsey broke the sad news of Tom’s death last month.
She wrote on Instagram: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side. Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.
“We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you.”
Fans were delighted to see Tom join his bandmates on stage at their recent comeback concerts, before his tragic passing.

OHMYGOSSIP — BLACKPINK are planning a comeback – but not in June.
A recent report on the Korean platform Naver suggested the K-Pop girl group – comprising Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose – were poised to release a new record in June, despite the band not giving a release date for their next project.
However, YG Entertainment has denied the speculation surrounding their release schedule.
The label said in a statement: “BLACKPINK’s comeback schedule has not been decided yet.
“As for the comeback in June, many people are only speculating that way, but it has not been officially announced. However, it is true that we are preparing for a comeback. When a detailed schedule comes out next time, I will tell you the official data.”
BLACKPINK released their acclaimed LP ‘The Album’ in 2020.
Last month, Jennie teased that they were preparing for a comeback “soon”.
Taking part in the YouTube channel The Game Caterers’ games series alongside other popular K-Pop acts recently, the 26-year-old singer teased: “BLACKPINK is also making a comeback soon. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this, but since I’m the only [BLACKPINK member] here, I’ll just say it.
“Please look forward to it. Thank you very much.”
The teaser came after Jeon Somi accidentally leaked what appeared to be a new track by the band while on Instagram Live.
The 21-year-old rapper was looking for a free recording studio at YG Entertainment HQ, when she stumbled into a room with the song playing.
Jeon immediately ran out of the room.
Several BLACKPINK fans believe they heard Jennie’s vocals on the track.
‘The Album’ featured the collaborations ‘Bet You Wanna’ with Cardi B and ‘Ice Cream’ with Selena Gomez.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Big Pink have reunited after a decade away.
The indie shoegaze legends have released the new single ‘No Angels’, their first release since 2012’s ‘Future This’ album.
Frontman Robbie Furze – who has reunited with original Big Pink drummer Akiko Matsuura and is joined by visual artist Charlie Barker on bass – said of their new tune: “It’s a track reflecting that moment when you understand that all you’ve set your sights on has led to a place far away from where you should be and everything you truly love.
“It took sacrificing everything I’d built in London and moving to Los Angeles, a place I thought I needed to be in order to achieve my dreams, for me to realise that it was about much more than just myself. I had a moment of clarity when I understood what’s truly important and what I needed to do to get back to everything and everyone that I loved. That’s what this song is about.”
The 44-year-old musician has revealed Wolf Alice’s Joel Amey inspired him to get the band back together when they toured together in 2018.
Robbie recalled in an interview with NME: “We did some stuff with Wolf Alice when they came out to LA.
“I’m mates with Joel the drummer, and he asked us to go on tour with them. I’d been doing a few little demos of new stuff, but we agreed to do a set of the old stuff. We did a US tour with them in 2018 and that’s when I realised that this was my calling and I had to get back on stage – this is really what I wanted to do.
“I didn’t want to mess around with anything else. It was time to do The Big Pink again.”
‘No Angels’ marks the next chapter in The Big Pink’s career, with plenty more new music on the way.
The band – best known for 2009 classic ‘Dominos’ – are hoping to release their long-awaited third studio album later this year, which will revisit their early sound, but also include a few “curveballs”.
Robbie teased: “The idea was to make a record that was true to what The Big Pink stand for and where we started from.
There’s a lot of the signature Big Pink sound as well as some curveballs like piano ballads on the record. There are a few songs that are going to different areas, but as a whole I just wanted to cement our sound.
“The first record, ‘A Brief History Of Love’, was such a moment for me. Like everyone’s first record, it was such an honest reaction to music and how we were feeling at that time. It’s difficult to do your second record and re-approach that honesty. I listen back to that first record sometimes and I can’t believe how confident it is. I don’t hate the second record, but it doesn’t have the same love that I have for the first.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Electronic music trailblazer Klaus Schulze had died at the age of 74.
The Berlin-born star passed away on Tuesday (26.04.22) after battling an undisclosed illness.
Frank Uhle – the managing director of Schulze’s record label, SVP – said in a statement: “We lose and will miss a good personal friend – one of the most influential and important composers of electronic music – a man of conviction and an exceptional artist.
“Our thoughts in this hour are with his wife, sons and family. His always cheerful nature, his innovative spirit and his impressive body of work remain indelibly rooted in our memories.”
Schulze – who is widely recognised as a pioneer of electronic music – joined Tangerine Dream as a drummer in the late 1960s. He played on the band’s debut album but subsequently left to join Ash Ra Tempel, where he performed alongside guitarist Manuel Gottsching and bassist Hartmut Enke.
However, their partnership only lasted for one album, before Schulze left to launch himself as a solo artist.
He released his first solo album in 1972 and he ultimately released more than 50 albums during the course of his 50-plus years in the music industry.
Despite this, he hasn’t been on tour in recent years as he decided to prioritise his health.
Speaking in an interview in 2018, Schulze explained: “That wasn’t an easy decision, and I do miss the live concerts with the fans; that is true. But I had to learn the hard way that health comes first. And I am back to kind of a normal mode now, which took a while, but I am very happy about it.”
Schulze is survived by his wife, two sons and four grandchildren.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy’s next music video is reportedly set to feature the likes of David Beckham, Gordon Ramsay and Louis Theroux.
The 28-year-old rapper started filming his comeback promo in London this week, and he’s lining up a number of big-name cameos.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Stormzy is pulling out all the stops with his new project and he has called everyone he knows to get involved.
“He has approached Emilia Clarke, Lewis Hamilton, Louis Theroux and Jonathan Ross, as well as David Beckham And Gordon Ramsay.
“The shoot start­ed yesterday and will be happening all week so fans should keep their eyes peeled.
“One location is the National Portrait Gallery. It’ll be a real spectacle.
“It’s a great look for them to be associated with him so a lot of stars have leapt at the opportunity.
“It is just a case of whether their schedules align to make it work.”
Last month, the ‘Big for your Boots’ hitmaker confirmed his third album will be released later this year.
The megastar kicked off his ‘Heavy is the Head’ UK tour in support of his second studio album at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena in South Wales, where it was announced that gig-goers would be the first to be able pre-order the follow-up to his acclaimed 2019 LP.
The ‘Vossi Bop’ hitmaker said in a video aired during his set: “This is the album of my dreams.
“This album is deeper than man could ever imagine.
“I’m free.”
A press release stated that the Londoner offered the pre-order at his concerts as a “personal gesture of gratitude to his loyal and supportive fans who have waited almost two years for the UK shows.”
Fans were offered a lanyard with a QR code to access the pre-order link.
The run, originally planned for 2019, had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Louis Theroux is set to interview Stormzy for a new six-part BBC Two and BBC iPlayer show.
The 51-year-old documentary maker filmed an in-depth chat with the music star on tour and at Stormzy’s home for one episode.
He said: “To be kicking off with the genius that is Stormzy is proper pinch-me stuff. I can’t wait to get going.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga spent years “perfecting” her ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ song.
The Oscar winner is set to release ‘Hold My Hand’ on May 3, which is taken from the soundtrack to the eagerly-anticipated fighter plane action sequel, which sees Tom Cruise reprise his role as Captain Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell from the original 1986 blockbuster.
The 36-year-old superstar has hailed the anthem a “love letter to the world during and after a very hard time.”
The ‘Stupid Love’ hitmaker said on social media: “When I wrote this song for Top Gun: Maverick, I didn’t even realize the multiple layers it spanned across the film’s heart, my own psyche, and the nature of the world we’ve been living in.
“I’ve been working on it for years, perfecting it, trying to make it ours. I wanted to make music into a song where we share our deep need to both be understood and try to understand each other – a longing to be close when we feel so far away and an ability to celebrate life’s heroes. (sic)”
Gaga added: “This song is a love letter to the world during and after a very hard time. I’ve wanted you to hear it for so long. And I’m so excited to give it to you on May 3.”
The song is already being tipped for a possible Best Original Song Oscar at the 2023 Academy Awards.
A source recently said: “‘Hold My Hand’ is Gaga at her best. It was due out at the end of this month but bosses pushed the release back slightly. The video was finished a while ago.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if, come next year, Gaga has got herself another Best Original Song nod from the Academy.”
Gaga previously took home the Best Original Song prize at the 2019 Oscars for ‘Shallow’, which she recorded with Bradley Cooper for their acclaimed remake of ‘A Star Is Born’.
The ‘Just Dance’ singer is currently preparing for her ‘Chromatica Ball’ world tour, which kicks off at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany, on July 17.
The show is set to feature both fan-favourite hits along with brand new performances of songs from Gaga’s 2020 album ‘Chromatica’, for which she won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2021.
Also, $1 from each ticket sold to a US show will be donated to her Born This Way Foundation. The foundation supports “young people” to “build communities that provide approachable resources, foster genuine connections and drive action”.

The ‘Starry Eyed’ singer gave an intimate performance for just 80 lucky guests at the exclusive event at The Biltmore Mayfair hotel in London’s affluent West London.
Presenter Fearne Cotton took to the stage to introduce the 35-year-old pop star as the special guest performer, and Ellie admitted she was thrilled to be back on stage in the UK for the first time since her 2021 ‘Brightest Blue Tour’.
After belting out her biggest hits, including ‘Love Me Like You Do’ and ‘Lights’, Ellie told the crowd: “I’ve missed being on

OHMYGOSSIP — Phoebe Bridgers doesn’t know if she’ll release any more new music this year.
The 27-year-old singer-songwriter released the track ‘Sidelines’ last week for the upcoming Hulu adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel ‘Conversations With Friends’, which premieres on May 15.
It was stated in a press release that the song would be the star’s only track of 2022, however, Phoebe has suggested she could decide to drop new music impromptu.
Speaking to KROQ, she said: “Who knows, actually.
“I try to do things that are exciting so I never really know what I’m gonna do.”
Phoebe recently opened up about the writer’s block she experienced amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ‘Smoke Signals’ musician opened up to Olivia Rodrigo in an Instagram Live, during which she admitted she barely penned any songs.
She told the ‘driver’s license’ hitmaker: “This is what I did for the pandemic.
“I probably wrote one half of a song.”
Phoebe also spoke about touring as a solo artist and insisted if she ever feels “depressed” on the road, she has so many people around her who put her at ease.
She told the 19-year-old pop star: “Getting to travel is great, but getting to travel because of [music] makes it much more fun.
“If you go on vacation and you get depressed, it’s so much worse. If you’re depressed on tour, you’re surrounded by people, you get to be with all your friends and it’s like work. The magical moments are so much better, and the sadder moments are really so much better.”
Meanwhile, Phoebe recently revealed she got “teary” recording her vocals on Taylor Swift’s ‘Nothing New’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Mick Jagger admitted the Rolling Stones “provoked a lot of people” in response to controversial hit ‘Brown Sugar’ being axed from their setlists.
The 78-year-old frontman has discussed the backlash the iconic group faced after the 1971 song was dropped from their performances last year, due to racist and sexist connotations of slavery.
And the music legend admitted they were good at causing “shock and awe” back in the day, but he accepts that things need to “change”.
Speaking on Swedish radio station P4, he said: “The early days were the days of shock and awe, things can’t stay like that forever.”
“When you start out, I mean popular music is always in need of shaking up. We were quite good at that.”
The ‘Satisfaction’ rocker feels a lot of people overreacted to their provoking.
He added: “We had our own style and our own way of approaching things and we had a different way of behaving. And it provoked a lot of people.
“I thought a lot of it was super over-reaction but it became a bit of a cliché.
“It served us well in some ways … we got noticed.”
Guitarist Keith Richards, also 78, addressed the backlash at the time and insisted the song was about “the horrors of slavery” and he couldn’t get his head around why it’s so controversial.
He said: “You picked up on that, huh?
“I’m trying to figure out with the sisters quite where the beef is.
Didn’t they understand this was a song about the horrors of slavery? But they’re trying to bury it. At the moment I don’t want to get into conflicts with all of this.”
However, some believe it depicts non-consensual sex between a slave and slave owner.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran filmed his latest music video in Ukraine.
The 31-year-old singer/songwriter travelled to Kyiv, Ukraine to shoot the video for ‘2step’ before the Russian invasion of the country in February and Ed has announced that all royalties and proceeds for the single will benefit DEC’s Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
He said in a statement: “I filmed the video for ‘2step’ in the city of Kyiv, Ukraine before the devastating acts of violence started to take place. It was my first time visiting the country and I felt so welcomed during my stay there – everyone from the production crew to the many people I met across my days off.
“Ukraine is a proud and resilient country and I’m grateful to have had the chance to film my video there. I stand with Ukraine.”
The music video features Ed walking through the streets of the capital city Kyiv surrounded by dancers.
‘2step’ is a collaboration with Lil Baby, which Ed has been teasing for some time.
He previously wrote on Instagram: “Been a big fan of @lilbaby for a while now, so excited to have him on the remix of this song and video. Hope everyone enjoys, April 22nd, few more surprises after that.”
Meanwhile, Ed and Camila Cabello premiered their collaboration ‘Bam Bam’ at the televised fundraiser ‘Concert For Ukraine’ last month.
The pair performed the track at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham.
Camila said: “We’re all praying tonight for the peace and the safety of the people in the Ukraine. Thank you guys so much for being part of this important fundraiser.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Calvin Harris is to release his first album in five years this summer.
The 38-year-old DJ took to Twitter to reveal a billboard sign of his upcoming record, ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2’, and revealed the release time period in the caption.
Writing about when fans can expect his upcoming sixth studio album, he tweeted: “Summer ’22”
Calvin’s last album, ‘Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1’, was released in June 2017.
The ‘I Need Your Love’ hitmaker previously released ‘Motion’ in 2014, ’18 Months’ in 2012, ‘Ready for the Weekend’ in 2009, and ‘Created Disco’ in 2007.
In February, Calvin announced a summer residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza.
He will return to the famous super-club to play on Fridays from 3rd June to 2nd September.
Calvin – who lives on a 138-acre farm in Ibiza after previously selling two mansions in Los Angeles – recently admitted he’s “not good at being a celebrity”.
He said: “I’m definitely happier just hanging out on my own in a room. Ever since I’ve been a kid that’s the case. I still have no hobbies. At some stage it would be great to learn to do something else. I have a very limited repertoire.”
Calvin has also conceded there’s been an element of luck behind his career success, admitting that his “reckless decisions” have paid off in spectacular fashion.
Reflecting on his achievements, he previously said: “I got lucky in different ways.
“I wrote the right songs at the right time, I picked the right genre of music, I started DJing in the US at the right time. If I hadn’t made all of these reckless decisions, I wouldn’t have been put in that place. Every time I play in front of people I’m celebrating the fact I got out of that situation.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Conor Maynard’s new song is named after a former flame.
The 29-year-old singer is back with the up-tempo number, ‘P.G.N.L.’, which stands for Pretty Girl Named Layla, and is all about pursuing his lover.
Conor sings: “Let’s go to my place and we can wake the neighbours.
“Tell me what you’re waiting for. Pretty girl named Layla.”
As well as releasing the shining new track, the TikTok favourite has announced his biggest headline tour to date, comprising 20 dates across the US and Europe.
The jaunt marks Conor’s first shows since 2019.
On returning to the road, he said: “After not having the chance to tour for so long, it felt only right to come back with our biggest one yet! I am buzzing to get back on the road and back to what I love doing the most – performing to all you guys. They’ll be plenty of new music from me before then, so watch this space!”
The tour commences in the US in September, with the European leg kicking off on October 3 in Oslo, Norway.
The UK shows include a date at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush on October 16, and wrap at Dublin’s The Academy on October 21.

OHMYGOSSIP — George Ezra has been made YouTube Music’s Sustainability Partner for 2022, and is having 17,000 trees planted by The National Trust.
The ‘Budapest’ hitmaker announced alongside the release of his latest single, ‘Green Green Grass’, and his upcoming tour, that he selected the cause due to the impact touring has on the planet.
YouTube and George made a “significant financial contribution” to The National Trust to help with the charity’s net-zero ambitions.
The 28-year-old singer-songwriter said: “I am conscious that creating, touring and promoting a record has an impact on the environment, so I am delighted to announce I will be working with YouTube Music as their Sustainability Partner for 2022. They have very generously provided a significant financial contribution to support a cause of my choosing; this is going to be The National Trust, who are working hard to reverse the decline in nature and reduce the impact of climate change by planting trees and restoring landscapes. Together, we’ll directly use this money to plant 17,000 trees across the UK.”
The National Trust has committed to planting or establishing 20 million trees covering an area the size of Birmingham as part of its plan to become net-zero by 2030.
National Trust Director General Hilary McGrady said: “We are enormously grateful to George for this donation, and it serves as an important reminder that only by a collective will and everyone playing their part will we help reverse some of the impacts of climate change and help the nation to reach net zero.
“This gift represents an important step as part of our ambition to try and tackle the effects of climate change. We are planting the trees in the right places to maximise the impact they will have in locking in carbon.”
George’s latest single from his upcoming album, ‘Gold Rush Kid’, is inspired by his visit to St Lucia and a celebration of life he witnessed on the streets of the Caribbean island.
He said: “I was on holiday in St Lucia with a few friends at Christmas 2018, with two of my closest mates from home.
“We were in this beach bar, drinking homemade rum punch and Piton, the local lager, flip-flopping between the two, p****** about with three local guys who worked there. And this music started up, three streets back from the sea.
“After about half an hour, I had to go see what it was. And there was a street party going on, with three different sound systems, people cooking in the street. I asked a woman what was going on and she told me it was a funeral – for three people. They were celebrating three lives! I thought: that is not how we do this at home. And it’s really beautiful.”
‘Green Green Grass’ follows the infectious lead single, ‘Anyone For You (Tiger Lily)’.
Following the release of ‘Gold Rush Kid’ on June 10, George is set to play a special outdoor event at Finsbury Park in London on July 17, where he’ll be supported by the likes of Blossoms, Mimi Webb, Holly Humberstone and The Big Moon.
His arena run is then due to begin in Liverpool on September 13, and wraps in Sheffield on October 2.
Fans who pre-order ‘Gold Rush Kid’ before 3pm on Tuesday 26 April can access tickets via exclusive pre-sale, before they go on general sale at 10am, Friday 29 April via Ticketmaster.

After Oli Sykes and co joined forces with Ed Sheeran on a heavy remix of ‘Bad Habits’, the ‘Throne’ rockers have shown a softer side to their sound on the anthemic ballad, with the Norwegian pop star’s vocals blending seamlessly with the frontman’s.

“It might not be the most likely collab, but we’ve been fans of each other for a while and we’re so happy we could collaborate on this song. And filming the video was an amazing and crazy experience in itself!”
On the meaning behind the lyrics, she added: “It tells the story of when things are rough and it can feel like you’re never going to stop feeling sad.”
Oli and bandmate Jordan Fish penned the track in the sessions for their next record, but didn’t feel it fitted with the sound they were aiming for, and he was thrilled when the ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ singer suggested they duet on it.
The ‘Sleepwalking singer said: “Jordan and myself wrote this song in lockdown, remotely. We loved the message but it wasn’t really fitting with the brief of the record we are currently creating.
“When we found out Sigrid was a fan we felt like it was the perfect fit for her, although initially I was reluctant as I felt like it was such a special record. Then Sigrid asked if I’d duet with her on the track and that sealed the deal!”
Sigrid and BMTH came to discover they were fans of each other during a chance meeting at Reading and Leeds Festival.
A statement read: “After a chance meeting with UK rock band Bring Me The Horizon backstage [At Reading Leeds Fesitval], they realised they were both fans of each other’s music.
“This led to vocalist Oli Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish sending a demo, they all got in the studio to lay down lyrics, and the tear-stained rock ballad ‘Bad Life’ was born.”
The collaboration is featured on Sigrid’s upcoming LP ‘How To Let Go’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter Aimee has shared her first new music in two years.
The 38-year-old singer releases songs under the moniker ARO, and her latest track is the lo-fi electro track ‘Against Mine’.
Aimee – the eldest child of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy and his wife Sharon – released her debut studio album, ‘Vacare Adamaré’, in 2020, but has decided to focus on releasing singles going forward.
She explained: “I feel a different sense of freedom and excitement that comes from releasing a couple of songs or a single at a time.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Aimee – who has largely kept out of the public eye and chose not to participate in her family’s raucous reality show ‘The Osbournes’ in the early 2000s – has loved getting to bond with her 73-year-old father over their art.
She said: “My dad has responded really positively to a lot of it. It’s been a really fun way to connect with him about being in the same industry now. He is so dedicated and his ability to continue working and creating, his appetite for that is so admirable, it’s unbelievable. Nothing stands in his way when it comes to anything creative, whether it’s painting, writing lyrics, melodies. From the minute he’s awake to when he goes to sleep, that’s what he does. And so to have that as an example has been such a gift and to feel like something to live up to has been a great way to connect with him.”
In 2015, Aimee opened up about finding fame “scary and intimidating”.
The musician admitted she was apprehensive about becoming famous even though her high-profile family – also including siblings Kelly, 37, and Jack Osbourne, 36 – taught her what to expect.
She said: “There’s not really many surprises as far as what it’s going to take for me and has taken for me to get this point.
“But at the same time, this is still intimidating at times and scary, and I feel like I don’t know what I’m doing. You get overwhelmed, then I remember I’m doing something that makes me the happiest, that I can feel is the best and truest thing for me to be doing for myself.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Shakira has teamed up with Puerto Rican rapper Rauw Alejandro on her latest single, ‘Te Felicito’.
The ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ hitmaker is back with her first new music of 2022, titled ‘I congratulate you’ in English.
The Spanish language song follows 2021’s English single ‘Don’t Wait Up’.
In the Jaume de la Iguana-helmed promo, the star known for her hip-busting moves dances with a robot and goes on a date with an android called Alejandro.
Shakira’s last studio album was 2017’s ‘El Dorado’.
In November, the Latin pop megastar released a 20th-anniversary edition of her seminal LP ‘Laundry Service (Washed and Dried)’.
The 45-year-old singer marked two decades since her first English language album was released with a special anniversary edition of the record.
The new version features four bonus tracks, including the previously unreleased remix of ‘Whenever, Wherever’ from Shakira’s electrifying halftime performance at the Super Bowl LIV in February 2020.
In addition, the album also features a Sahara remix of the hit single, as well as an acoustic version of ‘Underneath Your Clothes’, and an Afro-punk take on ‘Objection (Tango)’.
Reflecting on the album in a video on her YouTube channel at the time, Shakira said: “’Laundry Service’ was a testament to the fact that I was able to do anything. That my commitment was so huge … my commitment to music and to my own dreams that nothing was going to be an obstacle, not even myself.
“It was the first English language album that I made, and it was a huge challenge for me at the time. At that point, I had had some success in the Spanish world, but it was exhilarating and scary at the same time to push myself to new territories.”
