OHMYGOSSIP — Post Malone will release ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’ in June.
The 26-year-old rapper has finally confirmed a release date for his highly anticipated fourth album – the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ – and fans won’t have to wait long to hear the new LP.
In a simple social media announcement, Malone shared an anatomical heart emoji and wrote: “Twelve Carat Toothache. June 3rd.”
The star dropped lead single ‘One Right Now’ – a collaboration with The Weeknd – almost six months ago, with his manager Dre London previously claiming the album would be released in May.
Sharing a video of himself partaking in a spot of tennis on Instagram, the music mogul wrote in the caption: “Results Or Excuses Choose Your Side! @postmalone album coming next month! What u want in life results or excuses!! #MondayMotivation. (sic)”
Dre previously claimed Post’s record label delayed the release.
He insisted it was “done” and “ready” and that the only thing holding it back was record bosses.
Alongside two snaps with Post, he wrote on Instagram earlier this year: “Our sync energy always on a Insane level!! Album has been done!! We Ready!! But seems @republicrecords @universalmusicgroup isn’ Posty fans no more need to press me anymore we did our part!! Now it’s time for the label to get the business right before we drop BIG Album! Hit them up! We been ready like u are! #DreVision #2022 It’s Time!!! (sic)”
Meanwhile, the ‘Sunflower’ hitmaker previously insisted he isn’t bothered about landing number ones anymore.
Post doesn’t want to “compromise” his music for the sake of trying to top the charts, admitting he isn’t interested in extending the length of his upcoming album, even if it means it is more successful.
He said: “I’ve made a lot of compromises, especially musically, but now I don’t feel like I want to anymore. I don’t need a number one – that doesn’t matter to me no more, and at a point, it did.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher is going back to ballads for his new album.
The former Oasis rocker has promised the follow-up to 2017 High Flying Birds LP ‘Who Built The Moon?’ will feature a lot of strings reminiscent to some of his old band’s classic hits like ‘Wonderwall’.
He’s quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column as saying: “There is a track on the album called ‘Dead To The World’, which is one of the best songs I have ever written.
“It gives people goosebumps. It’s quite orchestral and a bit like ‘Midnight Cowboy.’ ”
The ‘Don’t Look back In Anger’ legend admitted there is a “vibe” running through the entire collection, and it was a “conscious decision” to go in this direction.
He explained: “The whole album has got a vibe. There’s 10 songs and six of them have got strings.
“It was a conscious decision after ‘Who Built The Moon?’, which was quite electronic and psychedelic and beats and all that kind of things.
“When I was writing these songs, I just heard strings and choirs.”
Meanwhile, the 54-year-old singer admitted he’s found it “funny” seeing other people’s reactions to the new material because he’s been around the songs for so long at this point.
He added: “It’s funny, because making this record, it took me a year to write and I’ve been recording it since January. I’m so used to it.
“But now people are coming to the studio and you play them the track and they’re like, ‘F****** hell! I’m getting goosebumps listening to that.’
“I forget because I’m so into [it] now that it’s just a bunch of songs that I want to finish so I can write some more.”
Meanwhile, Noel – who grew up in Burnage, Manchester with his brother Liam – recently insisted “working class kids” would struggle to get into music nowadays because of the costs involved in starting a band.
He said: “Where are the 14 year olds in bands now?
“Working class kids can’t afford to do it now, because guitars are expensive, there’s no rehearsal rooms. They’ve all been turned into wine bars and flats.
“There’s lots of singer songwriters, loads of middle class bands… wearing guitars as oppose to playing them. But four or five guys from a council estate can’t afford guitars.”

OHMYGOSSIP — BTS star Suga thought he was only going to write a song with Psy.
The two musicians have joined forces on ‘That That’ – which is taken from the latter’s upcoming new album ‘Psy 9th’ – with Suga featuring in both the track and its music video, but that wasn’t always the plan.
In a video released on Twitter to promote the song – which will be released on Friday (29.04.22) Suga said: “I seriously didn’t expect to be dancing with Psy. Ah… I thought I was only writing the song.”
Psy explained that there was a natural progression as the collaboration deepened and Suga got more involved.
He explained: “At the beginning, we met because he wanted to produce my music. Then he ended up featuring on the track.
“Then he ended up learning the intense choreo[graphy]. Then he ended up starring in the music video.
“Step by step, he got involved more and more deeply. Our Yoon-gi.”
And Suga admitted admitted the connection he’s formed with the ‘Gangnam Style’ hitmaker isn’t typical of the way he usually works.
He said: “To be honest, I haven’t gotten that close with anyone I collab[orate] with, it’s because I’m not usually the type to meet up with collaborators in person.
“But [Psy] he wanted to see me in person.”
The pair announced the single earlier this week, and Psy, 44, admitted the 29-year-old star “truly feels like a friend” after the pair worked well together.
In a teaser ahead of the new single, he said: “When meeting younger artists, I don’t want to be someone who’s hard to approach.
“[Suga] wasn’t just my junior in the business, but also he truly feels like a friend. It was hard to feel any age gap.”
Suga admitted he had felt “nervous” about teaming up with Psy because he is “so well-respected in the business”, but they have developed a close friendship.
Suga added: “[It] felt like working with a childhood friend, so it made the songwriting process that much more fun. We became besties in a way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Brandi Carlile has been forced to cancel her Stagecoach performance after testing positive for COVID-19.
The 40-year-old singer was set to play at the festival on Friday night (29.04.22), but she’s had to pull out of the show as she described the coronavirus as “trash”.
In an Instagram video, she said: “Hey, buddies. It finally happened. I have the COVID. So I won’t be able to come to Stagecoach.
“Argh, it’s horrible. I’m a few days in and I have a chest infection, but I think I turned a corner today and I’m starting to feel a little better.
“I just wanted to let everybody know that I’m devastated to be missing you and I hope you have a wonderful time out there with all my friends. See you on the other side of this trash.”
Her followers flooded the comments with messages of support as many of Brandi’s fans wished her a “speedy recovery”.
One fan wrote: “So sorry you got it, sending healthy vibes and love, hope you’re feeling much better soon!”
Another added: “You got this @brandicarlile !!!! Don’t rush it and get a lot of rest. Covid sucks!!!! Sending healing vibes and positive energy your way!!! (sic)”
Meanwhile, Olivia Rodrigo recently admitted she would love to sing with Brandi in the future.
The 19-year-old star walked the red carpet at the Grammy Awards earlier this month and admitted there were “so many people” at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas that she would like to collaborate with, but she admitted the ‘Right On Time’ hitmaker is at the top of her list.
She said: “Brandi Carlile is performing tonight and she is a big inspiration.”

OHMYGOSSIP — James Hetfield’s son finds it “a little annoying” when he is compared to his famous father.
The Metallica frontman’s 21-year-old lad Castor Hetfield plays percussion and performs backing vocals in hard rock band Bastardane, and he admits it is “a little strange” when his dad’s face comes up “all over the internet” when people are searching for information about his group.
He said: “All of us are our father’s sons, mine just happens to be very successful in the industry that we’re in.
“It’s not bothersome, but it is a little annoying when people try to compare us, because obviously we’re our own people and he’s his own person.
“We’re making our own kind of music. Online, when you search our band, my dad’s face is all over the internet and it’s a little strange for me.
“We are our own people and want to cut our own path. We’re not trying to ride off of anybody else’s success here.”
Castor – who makes up the trio alongside Jake Benn and Ethan Sirotzki – admitted the ‘Revolt’ hitmakers are yet to define what genre they are.
He told Savannah Morning News: “We grew up in different places and we all grew up listening to different kinds of music, so we have our own voices, which is cool and they come together in an interesting way.
“We’ve even been trying to pin it down, name the genre of our music and it’s hard to do. I don’t think it’s necessary, but for publicity stuff, people want to know what genre this is, but we don’t know.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles has shared the track-listing for ‘Harry’s House’.
The 28-year-old pop star has unveiled the 13 songs featured on his hotly-awaited third solo album – the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Fine Line’ – which is coming out on May 20.
The ‘Golden’ hitmaker recently debuted the tracks ‘Boyfriends’ and ‘Late Night Talking’ at Coachella.
Before performing ‘Boyfriends’, he said: “Who in the audience has ever had a boyfriend? Who in the audience has never had a boyfriend? To boyfriends everywhere, f*** you.”
So far, the lead single, ‘As It Was’, has been released.
The former One Direction star – who released his self-titled debut solo album in 2017 – took to social media to announce ‘Harry’s House’ last month.
Alongside a photo of the artwork, Harry simply tweeted: “Harry’s House. May 20th.”
The ‘Watermelon Sugar’ hitmaker also released a trailer for the album intercut with shots of screaming fans from his mammoth live shows, and he was seen standing on a bare stage in a theatre while a scenery cut out of a bright yellow house is erected around him.
Meanwhile, the ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ star recently admitted he has achieved everything he’s ever wanted to achieve with ‘Harry’s House’, and anything he does after that will be a “bonus”.
He said: “I feel very much like I’ve kind of achieved everything I want to achieve with this album already.
“So anything from this point on just feels very exciting and like a bonus.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher has branded Robbie Williams’ mega-hit ‘Angels’ “Oasis by numbers”.
The former Take That star had a long-running feud with Noel and his estranged brother and former Oasis bandmate Liam, which began in the mid-90s and escalated to a point where Robbie challenged Liam to have a boxing match with a £100,000 bet on the line at the BRIT Awards in 2000.
Noel – who infamously called the ‘Rock DJ’ hitmaker “the fat dancer from Take That” in one of many jibes – appeared to pay Robbie a backhanded compliment when he said he wishes he’d penned 1997’s ‘Angels’, as he compared it to the ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers.
Speaking on ‘The Matt Morgan Podcast’, the 54-year-old rocker said: “I’ve heard it. And thought, ‘I wish I’d written that.’
‘Angels’ is Oasis by numbers.
“Add a f****** electric guitar on it and it would be.”
Although Robbie appeared to be a willing participant in the slanging match, he previously claimed that the sibling’s comments, which many of his musical peers seemed to agree with at the time, left him depressed and ultimately inspired him to quit Britain to move to Los Angeles in 2004.
Speaking in 2021, he said: “My particular brand of entertainment and my particularly brand of pop music at the same time as my peers wasn’t, and isn’t, deemed worthy. I read the same magazines and watched the same television shows and wanted to be in the same tribe that most people my age found themselves but because of what I did and because of my output, what I created and how I presented myself it was deemed unworthy.
“There was a culture of ‘Robbie Williams is not cool’, ‘Robbie Williams isn’t very good’ and ‘Robbie Williams is naff’ and ‘Robbie Williams is fat’ and ‘Robbie Williams, we all agree, is awful’. That was apart from the 3 million people that bought my album each time it came out in the UK. At the time it was unbearable.
“In music it was Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher, although it wasn’t just Liam and Noel Gallagher doing it.
“Liam said that I should be hung, you know. Famously, Noel said I was ‘the fat dancer from Take That’.
“I can name them because they go in my rucksack, they go on the list of people that I remember every single syllable of every single thing they’ve ever said about me.
“That was 20 years ago, and 20 years ago I just left the country because I couldn’t turn anything on or pick anything up without it saying, ‘This is a bad person, doing a bad thing, presenting himself in a bad way.’ I am far too sensitive to the job that I found myself doing.”
Although he is now cool with Liam, Robbie still has no love for Noel and insists his music is “s***”.
Robbie, 48, said: “I could talk for two hours about why Noel’s s***.
“But isn’t it interesting what a sentence of a few words can do to your whole life and your whole way of viewing the world.
“As a 46-year-old with four kids I have more perspective on it. I’m not saying I’m healed from all of that, because I’m not.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sigrid listened to ABBA, Sir Elton John and Taylor Swift while making her second album.
The Norwegian pop star has revealed ‘How to Let Go’ is a straight-up pop record compared to the more “synthy” ‘Sucker Punch’, and she took inspiration from some of pop music’s greats.
The ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ hitmaker traded synths for guitars after listening to the likes of rock band War On Drugs and Fleetwood Mac.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, she said: “I had written ‘It Gets Dark’ and ‘Mirror’ in LA and both tracks really set the tone for the album.
“’Sucker Punch’ is quite synthy, whereas this one is more of an organic pop record with more guitars.
I’m a very private person and so the funny thing about me writing these new vulnerable songs is I forgot that I have to talk to people about them.
“We’ve got bass, live drums and loads of harmonies. We’ve been listening to Elton John, ABBA, War On Drugs, Taylor Swift, Freddie Mercury and Fleetwood Mac. It’s a really fun album.”
The LP – which arrives on May 6 – also includes the “very unexpected collab”, ‘Bad Life’, with heavy rockers Bring Me The Horizon.
Sigrid said: “It’s a very unexpected collab, but that’s the fun thing about it. People will be saying Sigrid and Bring Me – what?”
The 25-year-old star continued: “Me and my band have listened to them a lot on our tour bus. I love their songs. Then I met (keyboard player) Jordan Fish at Reading and Leeds last year and he said they liked my music which was exciting. Wow! What the f***?
“They’re lovely boys and then they said that they had a demo of ‘Bad Life’ that they wanted to send me. Me and my band listened to it on the tour bus. We were all pretty drunk but when the song came on, we all went quiet. We LOVED the song.
“Then a few weeks later me, (singer) Oli Sykes and Jordan went into a studio in London and rewrote the song a little bit. We finished and recorded it and we had ‘Bad Life’.”
Sigrid’s vocals blend seamlessly with Oli’s on the anthemic ballad.

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Scott has booked his first major gigs since 10 people were killed at his Astroworld music festival in Texas last year.
The rapper, who is dating reality star Kylie Jenner, was thrust into the spotlight after eight crowd members died in a crush during the first night of his event at the NRG Park in Houston in November 2021.
Two more revellers died from their injuries in hospital in the days after the event.
Now Travis is getting back to work by booking his stage return at the E11EVEN Miami nightclub in Florida on May 7.
He’s also set to head the Primavera Festival in South America, which visits countries including Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Travis will play three shows in November alongside singer Lorde.
Other acts on the bill for the festival include Arctic Monkeys and Bjork.
According to TMZ, Travis plans to book in more shows over the summer, but the Miami gig will mark his first major show since the Astroworld tragedy.
He hasn’t cut out performing entirely over the last few months – he previously performed a short guest appearance at a Coachella afterparty on April 17.
He also played at at a private pre-Oscars party in Bel-Air on March 26.
The Astroworld festival tragedy left 300 gig-goers injured in a terrifying crush as fans pushed towards the stage. Around 25 people were admitted to hospital and there were 10 deaths.

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Bieber loved getting to experiment with “new rhythms” on his Don Toliver collaboration, ‘Honest’.
The 28-year-old pop star has released the new track with the Houston rapper, and as a drummer, he enjoyed working with collaborator BEAM on the “fun” beat-driven song.
Justin said: “I like to just think of it as just it’s a little pocket and I just found a little pocket on the song. I don’t know if you’ve heard of artist and writer, BEAM. So BEAM is a part of this record too. He helped write this song and yeah, once again, his little pockets are crazy and I love experimenting with new pockets, new rhythms. I’m a drummer, so for me being able to experiment with those little pockets is it’s fun, man. It’s really fun.”
The ‘Peaches’ hitmaker insisted he’s a “genuine fan” of Don’s and hailed the “amazing cadence” to his music.
Speaking to Ebro Darden on New Music Daily on Apple Music 1, he said: “Man, so I have always just loved his … He’s got such a unique, I mean, the best way to say it is his swag. I don’t know if that word is dated, but … he just has this like little bop about him and he’s very unique, he’s very Houston. Shout out to Houston. We’re going to be in Houston on Friday I believe. And so, yeah, I just love his melodies these are honestly insane. He has a really amazing cadence to his songs and his music. And I’m just a genuine fan. He’s very unique. And he just is himself. OHMYGOSSIP — Lizzo wants to collaborate with BTS.
The ‘About Damn Time’ singer has revealed she’s become good friends with J-Hope from the K-Pop boy band after getting his number and exchanging texts.
She said: “I got J-Hope’s number, so we be texting.
“He’s a great texter, expressive. He does not leave you unread. If it’s been a while since he’s texted, he’s like ‘I’m so sorry,’ and he apologises for how long it’s taken.”
The 34-year-old star is a big fan of the ‘Dynamite’ group and sees a lot of herself in BTS.
She explained on the latest episode of the Audacy podcast: “I think that’s always why I’ve gravitated towards BTS because they remind me of myself where it’s like, self-love and this positive energy and the way they love their fans. I feel the same way and they genuinely have just a pure, positive energy all the time.”
And when asked if she’d like to collaborate with the septet, she replied: “I have to be careful because their fans are fierce! But absolutely, I would just say [I’d like to collaborate with BTS]. I would love to.”
Meanwhile, Chris Martin recently admitted he doesn’t think Coldplay will ever beat their BTS collaboration.
The 45-year-old frontman teased that new music and a number of “surprises” are on the way from the ‘Yellow’ hitmakers, but he doesn’t think anything can match the group teaming up with BTS on ‘My Universe’ last year.
He said: “I don’t think we’ll ever be able to match the BTS surprise. That was surprising even for us.
“The journey from the first time it was mentioned – I was just like ‘how could that ever work?’ – to the song itself arriving and me thinking, ‘that could be for BTS’ – to now it feeling like the most natural collaboration in the world.
“It’s an amazing lesson for myself in keeping an open mind all the time, because you just never know what life or music is gonna throw you.”
Speaking previously about working with BTS, Chris said: “I think it’s very special to me that the most popular artist in the world speaks Korean and is like a group of brothers not from the West. And it just feels very hopeful to me in terms of thinking of the world as one family.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bananarama are set to release a new album to mark their 40th anniversary.
The pop duo – made up of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward – have released the new single, ‘Favourite’, today (29.04.22), the pair’s first new music since their 2019 comeback LP ‘In Stereo’.
The electro-pop song was originally featured on Sara’s singer-songwriter daughter Alice Dallin-Walker’s (Alice D) 2018 LP ‘Narcissus’, and she still features on the new rendition, but they have made it their own.
Keren said: “It’s just a brilliant pop song.
We’ve done a different take on it but with Alice on backing vocals because we couldn’t not use her ad libs, they’re just too good.”
‘Favourite’ is featured on the forthcoming album, ‘Masquerade’, released on July 22.
The duo had only intended to release an EP, but when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and their live shows were shelved, the pair decided to carry on their songwriting journey.
Sara, 60, said: “I love writing songs it’s probably my favourite part. Shutting myself away and coming up with ideas and then telling a story in less than 4 minutes, it really is quite an art.”
Keren, 61, agreed: “Arranging the music, vocals and harmonies really is our forte.”
The title track is an 80s’ synth-pop number in the vein of Pet Shop Boys.
On the meaning behind the lyrics, Sara explained: “When I was in lockdown, there were a lot of conversations happening to do with inclusivity, diversity and gender and racial equality.
“And that kind of led to this idea of ‘masquerade’: how you present yourself in different ways depending on the situation, but really, you just want people to live how they want to live. It’s a song we’re really very proud of.”
Bananarama – who have sold more than 30 million records – are celebrating four decades since the release of their debut single, ‘Aie a Mwana’.
The ‘Venus’ hitmakers – whose past members include Siobhan Fahey and Jacquie O’Sullivan – have also teased a “string of exciting live shows with more surprises throughout the next year.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney duetted with the late John Lennon as he kicked off his ‘Got Back’ North American tour in Washington on Thursday night (28.04.22).
The Beatles legend – who turns 80 in June – pulled out all the stops as he opened his first arena run since his 2019 ‘FRESHEN UP’ jaunt.
Fans of the Liverpool legend were treated to an epic 36-song set at the Spokane Arena, with several surprises along the way.
For a rendition of the Beatles classic ‘I’ve Got A Feeling’ from 1970’s ‘Let it Be’, which he left for the six-song encore, Macca was able to sing with his beloved bandmate – who was assassinated, aged 40, in December 1980 – with footage from Peter Jackson’s ‘Get Back’ docu-series beamed on a big screen behind him.
He told the crowd: “Peter Jackson said: ‘I can pull John’s voice out if you’d like me to.'”
Macca is not the first artist to get to sing with a late star through the power of technology, as Adam Lambert did just that with the late Freddie Mercury at his concerts with Queen.
McCartney paid a special tribute to the late George Harrison with a stirring rendition of ‘Something’ – one of two tracks the late guitarist penned for ‘Abbey Road’, along with the classic ‘Here Comes The Sun’ – which he played on a ukulele his bandmate gave to him.
Macca also performed 1967’s ‘Getting Better’ and 1969’s ‘You Never Give Me Your Money’ for the first time solo in almost two decades, the last time being 2003.
‘She Came in Through The Bathroom Window’ from ‘Abbey Road’ hasn’t been performed by the music legend since 2008, but also got an outing during the three-hour set.
On the solo side of things, Macca gave ‘McCartney III’ track ‘Women And Wives’ its live debut, almost two years after the long-awaited third instalment in the trilogy was released in December 2020.
Macca ended the night by waving the Ukrainian flag in solidarity with the European country amid Russia’s invasion.
The ‘Got Back’ tour continues in Seattle, Washington on May 2, ahead of his headline set at Glastonbury this June.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith has released their new single, ‘Love Me More’.
The ‘Stay With Me’ hitmaker is back with a new ballad documenting their “candid introspection” of their “relationship with themself on a journey of self-discovery and happiness.”
The Oscar winner – who came out as non-binary in September 2019 – reunited with their long-time collaborators Jimmy Napes and Stargate on the uplifting tune.
Sam also co-directed the music video filmed in London with Luke Monaghan (‘Too Good At Goodbyes’, ‘Writing’s On The Wall’).
‘Love Me More’ kick-starts the next chapter for Sam and follows 2020’s ‘Love Goes’ LP and the festive track ‘The Lighthouse Keeper’.
Last month, it was reported that they had been back in the studio working on a new studio album and “enjoying” creating what is said to be a “surprise” for fans.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Sam is back in the studio and is really enjoying the creative process again. Being in lockdown provided the time and space to try out new sounds and it will probably surprise fans.”
The source went on to claim that the ‘Like I Can’ hitmaker has been in Los Angeles recording and is planning to release the album later this year.
The insider added: “Sam has been in Los Angeles for weeks recording new songs so the project isn’t finished yet but the plan is for the album to come out this year.”
The source also added that while the singer-songwriter – famed for creating emotional lyrics – is sticking with the traditional style in some ways and will include some “classic ballads”, the album is thought to take a new direction sonically.
The star is known for taking inspiration from personal circumstances to aid their songwriting and has had a series of short romances, including with furniture designer boyfriend Francois Rocci and now-close friend Jonathan Zeizel after they dated in 2014, but now prefers to keep schtum about private matters.
Speaking in 2015, Sam said: “I made a mistake by posting pictures of us on Instagram and making it seem more serious than it was. I’ve learned that I need to hold off before I start getting the public involved.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rising alt-rockers The Happy Fits have released their new single, ‘Dance Alone’.
The Brooklyn trio – comprising Ross Monteith, Calvin Langman and Luke Davis – get their unique sound using cello, drums and guitars with no bass.
On the mood-lifting number fit for summer, they sing: “Heart is racing / You’re to blame / I can’t seem to find the words to say / I will never understand / How no one was there to hold your hand / Now, I’m gonna lose a chance / I just wanna ask you for this dance / ‘Cause I don’t wanna dance alone tonight.”
Speaking of the track, Ross said: “It’s easy to say exactly what you want to someone in your mind but feelings can be a lot harder to express when you are face-to-face with them in reality. This song is one example of my inner dialogue when faced with that exact situation; a love song riddled with self-doubt.”
Calvin said: “Everything about this song is a beautiful reflection of Ross’ pure soul.”
The undeniably catchy chorus and that punchy lyric, ‘I don’t wanna dance alone’, happened as if by accident.
Luke recalled: “Late one night when we were all packing up still torn on the idea of the chorus, Ross almost jokingly blurted out ‘I don’t wanna dance alone’. The whole room stopped and we all waited a few moments until jumping right back in jamming on the melody for almost an hour. This chorus really brought together the rest of the vibe for the song and has become a personal favourite for all of us!”
Calvin added: “It felt so good to put into words how those many, many lonely nights in quarantine were spent, wishing to be back out on the streets dancing without a care.”
The latest track from The Happy Fits follows last month’s equally as rousing ‘Changes’.
The hugely popular outfit are currently on the second leg of the North American ‘What Could Be Better Tour’, with support from Sarah and The Sundays.
They are also supporting The Maine on their Spring US tour.

OHMYGOSSIP — Rita Ora has opened up about the difficulties of fame insisting that being a pop star involves a lot of “sacrifice” sleepless nights.
The ‘Anywhere’ hitmaker – who first achieved chart success in 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh’s single ‘Hot Right Now’ – acknowledges that there are many pluses to being a successful celebrity, but any aspiring singer must also realise that they are going to lose things like time with your family and a steady home life.
In an appearance on ‘Smallzy’s Celebrity Small Talk’ podcast, she said: “When you speak about things outside the dream, which is being a singer and everybody knowing your name and being all over the world, there is also a lot that comes with it. Things like sacrifice and endless nights of sleep where you don’t really sleep that much and you have to get on another plane do another show.
“You can’t really go and see your friends or go to a birthday party. You’re missing a lot of family functions because obviously you’re not there.”
The ‘Lonely Together’ singer who admitted that her line of work can get lonely, repeated her manta in those moments and remembered why she does what she does.
She added: “It’s always about remembering why you love doing what you’re doing. At times it can get lonely and in those moments you say ‘I love doing this’ and I have fans that love it so I have to do it for them.”
Rita has been working on new songs for her next album in Los Angeles and she cannot wait for her fans to her what she has recorded.
The 31-year-old pop star – who is in a relationship with ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ director Taika Waititi – said: “I’ve been recording in LA. It’s really nearly done and I think you guys are going to be very, very pleasantly surprised.”
