OHMYGOSSIP — Trevor Strnad has died aged 41.
Death metal band The Black Dahlia Murder have confirmed their lead singer, who they described as a “walking encyclopaedia of all things music”, has passed away.
They wrote on Instagram: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad. Beloved son, brother, and Shepard of good times, he was loved by all that met him. A walking encyclopedia of all things music. He was a hugger, a writer, and truly one of the world’s greatest entertainers. His lyrics provided the world with stories and spells and horror and whimsy. It was his life to be your show.

An official cause of death has not been confirmed.
Several bands paid tribute to Trevor in the comments section.
Darkest Hour wrote: “Just don’t know what to say – we love you guys so much.”

Guitarist Nick Hipa – who was a longtime member of As I Lay Dying – praised Trevor as a “wonderful human being”.
He commented: “Devastating loss of an incredibly talented and wonderful human being. Love and condolences to you all.”
The Black Dahlia Murder took their name from the 1947 unsolved murder of Elizabeth Short, whose corpse was bisected at the waist. She has since been known posthumously as the Black Dahlia.
The band – also made up of Brian Eschbach, Max Lavelle, Alan Cassidy, and Brandon Ellis – dropped debut album ‘Unhallowed’ in 2003, and they released their ninth studio album, ‘Verminous’, in 2020.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has announced the launch of Love Records.
The 52-year-old rapper – who changed his middle name to Love last year – will release his first solo album since 2006’s ‘Press Play’ on his new label, which he has been working on in partnership with Motown Records.
Love Records is “dedicated to R B music and will release singles and collaborative projects from a collective of world-class artists, producers and songwriters,” and the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker will continue in his supervisory role at Bad Boy Entertainment while developing his new brand.
Diddy said: “Music has always been my first love. Love Records is the next chapter, is about getting back to the love and making the best music of my life.
“For the label, I’m focused on creating timeless R B music with the next generation of artists and producers. Motown is the perfect partner for my album and I’m excited to add to its legacy.”
Motown Records CEO and Chairwoman Ethiopia Habtemariam added: “This is a major moment for Motown, as Diddy is one of this century’s most important voices in music and culture; to be a part of his next evolution and album is nothing short of monumental.”
Diddy – who has also been known as Puff Daddy and P. Diddy in the past – is said to be serving as executive producer, curator and A R on his upcoming album.
His last musical project was his 2015 mixtape ‘MMM (Money Making Mitch)’ – which featured the likes of Future, French Montana, Big Sean and Lil Kim – but last July, he told fans new music was finally on the way.
He simply tweeted: “I’m making a classic.”
He later shared the post to Instagram, and added the caption: “On god!”
The ‘No Way Out’ hitmaker’s post attracted positive emoji responses from Keyshia Cole and Swae Lee, while excited Ray J wrote: “#TheLoveEra LOVE LOVE LOVE (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paolo Nutini has announced his new album ‘Last Night In the Bittersweet’ will be released this summer.
The 35-year-old singer surprised fans with two new songs – ‘Through The Echoes’ and ‘Lose It’ – on Wednesday night (11.05.22), which marks his first new material since 2014.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Last Night In The Bittersweet. New album, out 1st July. Pre-order the album and listen to Through The Echoes and Lose It now.”
The upcoming collection – his fourth – will be Nutini’s first since 2014’s ‘Caustic Love’, and it’s been described as a 70-minute epic covering everything “from classic rock to post-punk”.
It’s said the long wait for new music is due to the star wanting to make sure everything was perfect.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Paolo has spent so long working on this new music that he has been extra hands-on in making sure everything is completely perfect.
“He cares so much about the songs and wants to give his fans, who have waited years for new music, the best experience possible.
“Paolo was insistent that only a handful of people in his inner circle listened to the songs before they were released. And hardly anyone has heard the album yet.”
According to the publication, Nutini wanted to make sure nothing leaked “at the last moment”.
The source added: “He is a very private person and wasn’t going to risk anything leaking at the last moment.
“Things have been kept under lock and key for months but now he is finally ready to release it.”
The star – who has been on hiatus since 2017 – will be back this weekend for an intimate show at Sheffield’s Leadmill, with other sold out dates set at the 100 Club in London, and Corran Halls in Oban, Scotland.

OHMYGOSSIP — 5 Seconds of Summer will release their fifth album ‘5SOS5’ later this year.
The ‘Me, Myself and I’ hitmakers – who dropped their latest track this week – have confirmed plans for the upcoming collection, which will be available on September 23.
In a statement reflecting on the new single, frontman Luke Hemmings said: “‘Me Myself and I’ explores the emotional cycle of feeling like you can do everything on your own and that you don’t need anyone else, but eventually realising that sometimes you push away the best things in your life.
“We love this song and hope other people connect with it as much as we do.”
The video for the song – which is the third single from the LP, following ‘Take My Hard’ and ‘Complete Mess’ – will premiere on YouTube tomorrow (13.05.22) at 10pm BST/5pm ET.
When it comes to the new album, Luke described it as their “most introspective” and “beautiful” record to date.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, he explained: “The album is definitely very introspective. I think like a lot of people in the last couple years, the only way to look was inward. Well, for us anyway.
“And lyrically looking into, I don’t know, everything that happened to us was a big topic. And not doing this every day and being on the road was a different experience for us.
“And the whole album is, for me, the most introspective, the most lyrically, if I can say beautiful and… I don’t know. There’s just so much heart in it.”
The album – which is available to pre-order now – will be released independently via BMG, while earlier this week the band revealed a deluxe CD and digital version will come with a total of 19 songs.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Hetfield phoned a fan to congratulate her after she gave birth at a Metallica concert.
The ‘Enter Sandman’ legend called Joice M. Figueiro and her husband Jaime to wish them the best after they welcomed their baby into the world during the band’s show in Brazil over the weekend.
In a clip shared by the couple on Instagram, he can be heard saying: “This is James from Metallica. Congratulations, you guys.”
Joice told her followers that he stayed on the phone for seven minutes to chat to the new parents.
She added: “I have no more words.”
The tattooist was heavily pregnant when she went to the ‘Nothing Else Matters’ rockers’ gig at the Estádio Couto Pereira Stadium in Curitiba, and she started having contractions during their set.
The gig-goer, who was 39 weeks pregnant, didn’t make it to the hospital and her son, who she named Luan Figueiró, arrived into the world backstage at 11.15pm to the thunderous sounds of ‘Enter Sandman’.
Sharing a picture of the newborn on Instagram, the new mom wrote in a translated caption: “When would I imagine that I would be at the Metallica show at 39 weeks pregnant and this boy decides to be born right there, three songs before the show ends, at Couto Pereira to the sound of ‘Enter Sandman’?”
She has since told The Washington Post: “It was a mix of emotions. Since it wasn’t planned, I was scared that the medical team wouldn’t be ready.
“But there’s also the feeling of being able to tell people that this happened because Metallica is one of the bands we love the most.”
She joked Luan’s name could be James Ulrich after Hetfield and the group’s drummer Lars Ulrich, but didn’t rule out “some homage” as his middle name.
However, she outright dismissed the idea of ‘Sandman’, and added: “Remember, this is the name he’ll carry throughout his whole life. He’ll get bullied with the name ‘Sandman.’ He already has enough of a story to tell.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lorde has launched her own station to show fans “the forms that have altered my course for better”.
The 25-year-old star has teamed up with Sonos Radio for her own curated station called ‘SOLARSYSTYM’, which features the likes of Radiohead, Cocteau Twins and J Dilla.
In a statement, she said: “SOLARSYSTYM is like stepping into my brain, giving listeners a front row seat to the songs that have meant a ton to me and my life.
“It is a collection of forms, gravitationally bound, a handful of planets, dozens, more dwarf planets, and countless little rocks. All reflecting light from a sun. These are the forms that have altered my course for better.
“Everything from the tunes my parents pulled from their super sick CD tower to the songs I ripped off YouTube as a pimply teen to the records I include in full because they were that shapeshifting for me as a thinker and feeler.”
Meanwhile, Lorde is currently touring the world in support of her 2021 album ‘Solar Power’, with upcoming dates in the UK and Ireland later this month after recently finishing a run in North America.
She’ll then travel across Europe for more headline dates – plus festival shows at Primavera Sound and Glastonbury – before bringing the tour to a close with rescheduled dates in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.
Back in November 2021, the Grammy winner was “beyond devastated” to be delaying shows in New Zealand and Australia due to COVID-19 uncertainty.
Lorde said: “I am beyond devastated to be postponing these shows. Starting the tour in New Zealand was always really important to me, and would have been a huge high.
“I fought this decision for a long time, but the truth is that touring internationally through a COVID outbreak has a ton of unforeseen moving parts, and I’d much rather play for you when we’re all confident it will go smoothly.
“I want to apologise wholeheartedly to the fans. I’m so gutted to let you down, but so grateful for your understanding.”

OHMYGOSSIP — My Chemical Romance have surprise-released their first song in eight years, ‘The Foundations Of Decay’.
The emo rockers – comprising Gerard Way, Frank Iero, Ray Toro and Mikey Way – have made their music comeback with the epic six-minute track.
The ‘Helena’ hitmakers reunited for a show in Los Angeles in December 2019, before going on to play a batch of shows in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
In January 2020, they announced North American and European tours, however, they were delayed until 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Despite performing live again, fans had not been expecting new music from the ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’ rockers.
The new song marks their first since 2014’s ‘Fake Your Own Death’, which frontman Gerard previously declared as the final MCR song, released before the ‘Teenagers’ hitmakers broke their fans’ – and their own – hearts by splitting up.
He explained at the time: “I consider ‘Fake Your Death’ to be the ‘last MCR song’, and to me, it is absolutely the final fully realised collaboration between the members of the band.
“What was not so obvious at the time was that the song was, and would serve as, a eulogy for the band, though I should have known it from the lyrics. I think internally I did, as I felt an odd sense of sadness and loss after hearing back the words on top of the music.”
He added: “I also felt a strange sense of pride in how honest it was, and could not remember a band recording a song of this nature, being so self-aware. Ending felt like something honest, and honest always feels like something new. So it will exist, and it is no cowardly act to release something of this nature, but a service to those who believed in a band that did not compromise, and a wave goodbye to all. And yes, it is f****** heartbreaking.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has declared he is “uncancelling” Morgan Wallen and Travis Scott.
The 52-year-old star will host and executive produce this weekend’s Billboard Music Awards and he explained his decision to have the country singer – who apologised last July after using racist language – and the ‘Sicko Mode’ hitmaker, whose Astroworld festival ended in tragedy when 10 revellers were killed and hundreds injured in a crowd surge, on the bill was because he wanted to give them a second change.
He told Billboard: “The mood of the show is about love and forgiveness.
“As a musical family, none of us are saints; none of us are without things that happen to them in life.
“So one of the things I’m doing directly is un-cancelling the canceled. That’s breaking news because people haven’t been about uncancelling. But cancelling is a trend that needs to stop.
“Travis went through a tragedy; Morgan (used the N-word) while talking to his boy. People make mistakes.
“Now we’re moving on with love and respect for everybody that was hurt or affected. It’s time to forgive.
“To have Morgan and Travis be able to come back and touch the stage again with the mindset of getting a second chance at life.
“Everybody in the room is getting a second chance at life, you know, because we’re back outside with no masks on.
“We need love and I’m excited about celebrating that.”
Morgan apologised in July after footage emerged of him using the N-word twice after returning from a boozy night out.
He was disqualified from the Academy of Country Music Awards, but has since returned to Billboard’s country airplay chart and it was announced a few weeks ago he would perform at Sunday’s (15.05.22) ceremony.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Bay’s upcoming album, ‘Leap’, comes from a place of pure “joy and positivity” after becoming a dad.
The ‘Hold Back the River’ hitmaker and his childhood sweetheart, Lucy Smith, welcomed their daughter Ada Violet into the world in October, and James has revealed being a first-time father has influenced his follow-up to 2018’s ‘Electric Light’.
He told NME: “I’d never written from this perspective before.
“I’d never written from a place of such joy and positivity. Lucy and I first got together at 16 and have been together ever since. She’s supported me since day one. From open mic nights, right through to my biggest shows. It’s been one adventure after another, but now we’re on the biggest one of all. Raising our beautiful daughter Ada.”
Fans of his acclaimed 2015 debut studio album ‘The Chaos And The Calm’ will be pleased to hear he’s gone back to his stripped-back roots, after getting experimental with electronic sounds on his second studio effort.
He explained: “On my second album, I threw a bunch of synths at my music and electronic sounds, and I had a brilliant time pushing the boundaries in that respect.
“This time I’ve fallen back to the guitar and an even more stripped-back type of sonic.”
Instead of switching up his sound again, the 31-year-old star decided to focus on upping his lyrical game and ended up writing from “a place of vulnerability”.
He said: “I’m always going to push boundaries in the music I’m making. The boundaries I’ve pushed this time around have been with the lyrics. I’ve found a way to write from a place of vulnerability that I have not gone to or written from before.”
James has so far released the singles ‘Give Me The Reason’ and ‘One Life’, with ‘Leap’ set to follow on July 8.

OHMYGOSSIP — Marc Almond “wonders how many active years” he has left.
The ‘Purple Haze’ hitmakers have just returned with their first album in two decades, ‘Happiness Not Included’ – the follow-up to 2002’s ‘Cruelty Without Beauty’ – and the Soft Cell star says the pandemic and his bandmate Dave Ball, 63, suffering health problems, including a fractured spine, made him realise just “how short life is”.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, he said of Dave’s health troubles: “He’s fractured his spine and is recovering.
“He’s been in hospital and had some health problems. Things like this and the pandemic have made us realise how short life is.
“As an artist, when you get older, you look back and re-evaluate life more. Without sounding gloomy, I wonder how many active years I have left in my life, as I’m 65 this year.”
The 64-year-old singer – who himself suffered a brain injury in 2004 – continues to experience long COVID symptoms, including “terrible fatigue”, having had the virus three times.
He said: “I get days where I can’t breathe so well and I feel this terrible fatigue that just hits you.
“I’ve had COVID three times now.”
The ‘Tainted Love’ hitmaker admits it takes a lot for him to want to make new Soft Cell music, but without having the new album to write amid the lockdown, he would have “gone mad”.
He said: “The one thing I was grateful to lockdown for was being able to make this record. I started writing it because everyone was locked in.
“I would have gone mad if it wasn’t for this album because I like working all the time.”
Marc – who has had a successful solo career – didn’t know if he had it in him to pen more tunes for the synth-pop duo, but he couldn’t turn down the amazing music Dave sent him.
Noting the differences between his own music and Soft Cell, Marc added: “Soft Cell were great and were influential and opened doors for the kids that were alone in their bedroom with their own thoughts and feelings.
“But I never thought of us as a big band. I have to be in a certain headspace to write Soft Cell songs.
“When I write for myself, it’s more introspective and personal emotions. But when I write for Soft Cell, I’m more the cynic looking at the world with sardonic humour, looking at things that are happening in a very different way.
“And I didn’t know if I could do it, to be honest, so I thought I’d see what Dave sent me.
“Then he sent me some really great music, so I said, ‘Yeah, all right’.”

Ahead of Saturday’s (14.05.22) grand final of the 2022 edition of the ‘Eurovision Song Contest’ in Turin, Italy, the 2021 winners have shared their latest song, ‘Supermodel’, which sounds just like Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’.
The ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’ hitmakers – who have become global megastars since winning ‘Eurovision’ with ‘Zitti e Buoni’ – tapped producer to the stars, Max Martin, for their biggest tune to date, and they’ve worked with him on their next album.
Bassist Victoria De Angelis said: “It started off with Max, but we worked on it, Thomas changed it a bit and added more to it.”
Guitarist Thomas Raggi noted: “I took a lot of inspiration from the California vibe!”
On how they came to work with Britney Spears and Katy Perry’s producer, Victoria told Variety: “We met Max at our first gig in Los Angeles in November.
“He had heard of us because of ‘Eurovision’ and we talked and then we decided to work together.”
The studio wizard – who is also behind hits for The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Backstreet Boys and Avril Lavigne – worked on around half of the tracks on the band’s follow-up to 2021’s ‘Teatro d’ira: Vol. I’.
Frontman Damiano David added: “We did more or less half of the album with him — ten songs with him, but not everything. Working with him, first of all, was a huge chance to learn new things — he’s been doing this for 30 years and has done so much great stuff — and it was also just great. When you write song with him it’s more or less going to be 100% a great song!”
The enigmatic singer refused to give away any teasers of what fans can expect from the LP.
He said: “You’ll have to wait for the record! We want to be mysterious.”
However, his bandmate Victoria divulged: “We’ve experimented a lot on the record. It’s always us, of course, but I think fans will like it. We also have some songs we wrote a couple of years ago, songs we wrote completely on our own.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Florence Welch has admitted the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic made her contemplate shelving Florence and the Machine’s latest album.
The ‘Dog Days Are Over’ hitmaker has admitted the global health crisis made it challenging to finish ‘Dance Fever’, specifically the travel restrictions between the US and UK, and it wasn’t until she and producer Jack Antonoff penned the tracks ‘King’ and then ‘Choreomania’ that Florence knew they had something too special to give up on.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, she said: “There were so many moments where I had nearly gave up on this record. There were so many moments where I nearly went, ‘It just feels like the way that the world is, this is just too hard to finish.’
“I started with Jack [Antonoff], and we were meant to make the whole record in Electric Lady in New York in … March 2020. I went to New York. I had my suitcases packed for a month, we were going to make the whole… we had a bunch of amazing songs done. The first song we wrote together was ‘King’ and … so Jack had wanted to work together for a while, and we met and we got on really well. I found him really great to talk to. I never start working with anyone at this stage in my career, unless we get in the studio and do something, and that really tells you whether something’s going to work. You’re never like, ‘Yeah, let’s do this,’ until you’ve had a play date, and on this play date we wrote ‘King’ and then ‘Choreomania’. I’d had ‘Choreomania’ and it was in a very demo-like state, and what Jack did to it, he took it so far. I was like, ‘This guy’s really good. He’s really, really good.’
The strength of those two songs was like, ‘Okay, there’s really something here,’ and then we agreed to start the record together. We got to New York, in that one week we wrote ‘Free’ and we wrote ‘Back In Town’.”
The 35-year-old singer also admitted she went through a grieving process when live music was cancelled at the height of the pandemic, and didn’t know whether she’d return to the stage.
She said: “I felt like this cathedral of touch that I had built had just flattened overnight. And the grief and the loss of… It’s also, it was like, ‘It’s my job.’ And I just didn’t know if it would come back and I don’t know how to do anything else. I don’t know how to do anything else? Because, there were so many false starts as well of like, ‘We can go to finish the record, or we can’t, there’s another variant. We’re going to get to New York to do it. Oh, we can’t. Everyone in England has COVID, you can’t leave. America doesn’t want you.’
“And so, there were so many false starts of whether this record would even finish.
“And you would see a tour go up, you would see it get cancelled.”
The ‘You’ve Got The Love’ singer had gotten so used to life off the road and felt “abandoned” when the one place she goes to for a “relief from self” wasn’t there anymore, and she started to doubt whether she wanted to tour again.
Florence added: “And so, it was almost like, after two years of desperately wondering, I almost settled in.
“I was like, ‘You know what? Maybe, this isn’t…’ It’s like, ‘I will never, I could never live without this thing.’ And I still feel that a world without live music, I was really questioning whether I even wanted to be in that world. That’s how I’ve seen miracles take place, is on stage.
“It’s how I’ve seen people transcend their physical bodies and bring heaven into the room.
“For me, music and gigs, they are my kind of spiritual practice, and making music. And I always felt like I was in communication with something outside of myself that would provide me this moment of relief from self. And that is a kind of transcendence, I think. And so when all gigs and live and… these places that had been my church… I felt abandoned, I think. I felt abandoned.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Post Malone is back with the new single, ‘Cooped Up’, featuring Roddy Ricch.
The second single taken from the ‘Circles’ hitmaker’s eagerly-anticipated album, ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’, is another collaboration with the Compton rapper, who appeared on a 2019 remix of Post’s mega-hit ‘Wow’.
The latest track follows on from 2021’s ‘One Right Now’ with The Weeknd.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old star – who is set to make his ‘SNL’ debut this weekend – recently revealed some major personal news.
The ‘Rockstar’ hitmaker and his girlfriend are expecting their first child.
Post gushed that he’s the “happiest” he has ever been as he announced last week that his long term girlfriend – whom he has never identified publicly – is pregnant.
He told TMZ: “I’m excited for this next chapter in my life, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been, and for since I could remember I was sad! Time to take care of my body and my family and friends, and spread as much love as we can every day.”
The outlet went on to claim that sources close to the music star – whose real name is Austin Richard Post – said he had celebrated the happy news with a private party for friends and family and that the two have been “privately building” their relationship since getting together in January 2021.
An insider said: “They celebrated the baby-to-be with a private party for friends and family in Southern California over the weekend but [his girlfriend] is not someone who has spent any time in the spotlight and two have been happy privately building their relationship, which will soon turn into a family!”
News of the pregnancy came just days after the ‘Better Now’ rapper announced that he will release his fourth album ‘Twelve Carat Toothache’ on June 3.

OHMYGOSSIP — Muse’s new album is a “greatest hits of new songs”.
The ‘Plug In Baby’ hitmakers – who formed in 1994 – weren’t “in favour” of marking their long career with a singles collection but think they’ve still provided fans with a type of retrospective in their upcoming LP ‘Will of the People’ because it goes through so many different genres.
Frontman Matt Bellamy said: “We were reaching that point where there was talk about maybe doing a greatest hits album, and we weren’t really in favour of doing that. So it’s almost like we’ve made a record that is a greatest hits album – of new songs.
“That means this album might have a metal track on it – and it’s like, the best metal track we’ve ever done. Or there’s a sort of soft ballad, love song and it’s probably the best ballad love song we’ve ever done, and so on.
“It’s a montage of the best of Muse. It’s a new take on all of those types of genres that we’ve touched on in the past.”
Matt also thinks it is the group’s most American-sounding record to date after the coronavirus pandemic meant he and his wife Elle Evans spent most of the lockdown in Los Angeles.
He told The Big Issue magazine: “I’ve been missing England. I didn’t think I’d miss it as much as I did
“I went to live in America in 2010, but I would always come back to the UK quite a lot.
“But then during the pandemic, I had to stay there and live in LA for two years. It really gave me a pretty heavy exposure to the American way of life, American politics and all the stuff that went down during that period. All the chaos we saw emerging in America, in between the election and the inauguration, has definitely been a big influence on this record.”

Robin Roberts will preside over Sunday’s (15.05.22) celebration of life for the late country singer – who died by suicide last month – while Bono, Morgan Freeman, Oprah Winfrey, Martina McBride and Salma Hayek will offer tributes.

Meanwhile, Ashley, 54, recently revealed that Naomi, 75, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
While she admitted her family were “uncomfortable” about revealing certain information, she explained that they wanted to be in control of the flow of information about her death before the autopsy was released.
Ashley said: “She used a weapon… my mother used a firearm.
“So that’s the piece of information that we are very uncomfortable sharing, but understand that we’re in a position that if we don’t say it someone else is going to.”
Ashley explained that she was chosen to represent the family to discuss her mother’s passing, and shine a light on the importance of seeking help.
She added: “My mother knew that she was seen and she was heard in her anguish, and she was walked home.
“When we’re talking about mental illness, it’s very important to be clear and to make the distinction between our loved one and the disease. It’s very real, and it lies, it’s savage.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher hasn’t seen his estranged brother Noel Gallagher in “about 10 years”.
The Oasis rocker – who has been embroiled in an infamous feud with his older brother following the band’s acrimonious breakup in 2009 – admitted “it’s a shame” they haven’t been able to let things slide.
Speaking to Esquire magazine as part of the publication’s ‘What I’ve Learned’ feature, he said: “The last time I saw Noel was at a football match about 10 years ago. It’s a shame, isn’t it?”
He added: “The good times outweigh the bad times. I think it’s best to just leave it at that.”
Meanwhile, Liam revealed he’s still hopeful for an Oasis reunion one day, but he warned fans not to expect the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ hitmakers to return any time soon.
He said: “I like to think Oasis will get back together, but not this week.
“The door is ajar on everything. I wouldn’t be surprised if space aliens landed tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were already here.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if God walks among us. I wouldn’t be surprised by all sorts.”
And while the Britpop legends have gone down as one of the biggest bands in the world, the AGE-year-old singer played down their legacy.
He explained: “Everyone goes on about us being the biggest. There were plenty of places where we could’ve been bigger.
“We were the biggest thing in England. And we were pretty big in Japan. But we weren’t that big in America, not at all.
“We never played stadiums in Spain. There was a lot more work to be done, so we shouldn’t have split up, because we could have made more records. It’s a shame.”
Meanwhile, Liam insisted it was his destiny to be a performer.
He added: “I do believe I was supposed to be on a stage singing songs. I’ve got some good lungs on me.”
