OHMYGOSSIP — Steps never expected to be around for 25 years.
The dance-pop group – which comprises Faye Tozer, 46, Claire Richards, 44, Lee Latchford-Evans, 47, Lisa Scott-Lee, and Ian ‘H’ Watkins, both 46, – were first active between 1997 and 2001 but since reuniting in 2011 have released a string of new albums and completed a slew of sell-out arena tours and Lisa admitted that they are all enjoying the “unexpected longevity.”
She said: “We don’t know what is ahead of us. It’s exciting though because we’ve got an amazing fan base and back catalogue. We’re enjoying this longevity that we never thought we would have.”
Steps were formed by then-manager Tim Byrne back in 1997 through an advert in the Stage newspaper and after making their debut with ‘5,6,7,8’, teamed up with pop impresario Pete Waterman to release three hit albums but Claire explained that because their audition took place before the days of ‘The X Factor’, the process was not quite as “brutal” as what is sometimes seen on TV talent shows.
Faye said: “We were put together through an audition from the Stage newspaper. They lined us up and they were like ‘You, you and you. No, not you. No, you go!’ and Claire added: “It was before the days of’ Pop Idol’ and ‘X Factor’ and stuff so I don’t think it was quite as brutal. We all made the mistake of thinking H was really cool though!”
The ‘Tragedy’ hitmakers are set to release the Platinum Collection to celebrate the milestone and while the group have released three compilation albums in the past, Faye explained that it was “really important” to combine classic tracks such as ‘Deeper Shade of Blue’ and ‘One for Sorrow’ with newer music from their newer records ‘Tears on the Dancefloor’ and ‘What the Future Holds.’
Speaking alongside her bandmates, Faye told ITV news: “We have done greatest hits before but it was really important that we included our new original music with all the original classics and it’s a really big celebration for us. I don’t think anybody would’ve expected us to have been here for 25 years!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bananarama hopes that the music industry is “a little less sexist now.”
The pop duo – which comprises Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward – shot to fame alongside former member Siobhan Fahey back in 1982 and were listed in the Guinness World Records for achieving the world’s highest number of chart entries by an all-female group but Keren admitted that life in music was “more difficult” for women during their heyday.
She said: “I think it was more difficult [for women] then. I’d like to think the music industry is a little less sexist now but looking back, I realised that we had to work a little harder and be a bit more determined [than men.] It was that old thing that if we were wanted to do something and we said ‘Oh we’re not doing that’, or ‘We want to do that’, were termed as difficult and I think if we had been male it would have been ‘Oh God, they’re so rock and roll. Lots of little things added up really!”
The ‘Venus’ hitmakers released their greatest hits album ‘Masquerade’ on Friday (22.07.22) in celebration of their 40th anniversary and will support the record with two intimate London shows in August, but Sara admitted that the pair never expected to still be on the go so many years down the line.
Speaking during the joint interview on ‘Good Morning Britain’, Sara said: “We started when we were teenagers and I don’t think we looked past the next Saturday night out. We certainly didn’t think ‘Oh we’ll be doing this in 40 years’, it is quite amazing. And we wrote a book in lockdown so we kind of documented our whole career then and it’s something that we’re really proud of I guess.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Fender thanked his fans for a “magic” evening as he performed in Finsbury Park in London on Friday night (15.07.22).
The 28-year-old singer played his biggest headline show to date as the sun shone down in the UK capital and he admitted the concert would live long in the memory.
He said: “This is the first time we’ve ever done anything like this, it’s our biggest headline show we’ve ever played.
“Thank you so much for coming out, I’m gonna remember this one for a long time I think.”
Sam opened his set with ‘Will We Talk?’ and ‘Getting Started’ and the crowd was filled with black and white flags and revellers in Newcastle United FC shirts in homage to his hometown.
He insisted it was time to get “everyone moving” as he played ‘Borders’ and other highlights included ‘Get You Down’ and ‘Spit of You’.
Sam debuted new track ‘Alright’ and closed his set by sitting down at the piano for ‘The Dying Light’ before switching back to the guitar as fireworks shot into the air.
Thanking the crowd afterwards, he said: “This is an honour, this is the best job in the world.”
Sam returned for an encore which included ‘Angel in Lothian’, ‘Saturday’, ‘Seventeen Going Under’ and ‘Hypersonic Missiles’ and as the thousands of fans made their way home they continued to sing the chorus of ‘Seventeen Going Under’.
On the day, Sam was supported by Irish band Fontaines DC, singer/songwriter Declan McKenna, Nilufer Yanya and Rachel Chinouriri.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ne-Yo believes “heartache makes for great song lyrics”.
The 42-year-old singer admits RnB music has always made the “most sense” to him, and he still loves being able to express himself through his music.
The chart-topping star – whose real name is Shaffer Smith – shared: “RnB has always meant most sense to me.
“It’s always been the genre of music that I can really express that level of emotion with.”
Ne-Yo admits that love songs, in particular, really stir his emotions.
He told The Independent: “It’s always been an uncomfortable truth that heartache makes for great song lyrics.”
Ne-Yo filed to divorce his wife, Crystal Renay, in 2020. But the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be a turning point for their relationship and they ultimately gave their romance another try, after co-parenting amid the health crisis.
The singer – who has Roman, four, and Shaffer, six, with Crystal, as well as Mason, ten, and Madilyn, 11, with actress Monyetta Shaw – said: “We really used to be bad about letting things fester.
“But we’ve gotten better at finding our way to the resolution sooner, as opposed to just staying mad for however long. That’s not healthy for you, or your marriage.”
Ne-Yo touches on their struggles on one of the songs on his new album.
On ‘Don’t Love Me’, he urges Crystal to reconsider their romance and he also admits to making mistakes during their relationship.
The award-winning star – whose new album is called ‘Self-Explanatory’ – shared: “I asked her if she was OK with me putting it on the album, because it’s such a personal record.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Paolo Nutini says the COVID-19 pandemic made him realise what a “privilege” it is to be a musician.
The Scottish singer recently returned with his chart-topping first album in eight years, ‘Last Night in the Bittersweet’, and has been playing shows this summer.
And he says the whole world being shut down and touring coming to a standstill made him realise just how lucky he is to be a touring artist.
Speaking to the new issue of Rolling Stone UK, he said: “I never stopped writing songs and writing ideas and that’s what gives me my kicks.
“Even if they sit half-finished for a year, I feel like I’m happy regardless of what I’m doing at the time.”
He added: “But over the past two years, watching how it’s affected everybody, that social shutdown, it made me think that it is a real privilege to go out and communicate with people on such a scale.
“And to have the outlet of the release that performing on stage can give.”
The ‘New Shoes’ hitmaker feels like he’s letting a load of his back when he puts new music out into the world, but most of all, he loves giving his fans a “good buzz”.
He said: “I get the tunes out there and I already feel a bit lighter.
“But it’s not just that; you’re giving other people a good buzz and a good kick.
“It’s a good feeling.
“It makes you feel like you’re doing something right.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlotte Church felt like a “commodity” on a major music label.
The 36-year-old singer shot to fame as a child before branching into pop music in 2005 – but Charlotte admits that being on a major label was a “double-edged sword”.
Asked about her worst-ever job, Charlotte replied: “It was a double-edged sword, but being a major-label artist, I felt like a commodity, a thing to be sold.”
Charlotte also admits to having over-indulged as a teenage music star.
Speaking to the Guardian newspaper, she recalled: “When I was 18, I bought a boat for a million pounds and sold it a year later for just over half the price.”
Charlotte has kids Ruby, 14, and Dexter, 13, with Gavin Henson, as well as Frida, 23 months, with husband Johnny Powell.
The ‘Call My Name’ hitmaker loved spending time at home with her family amid the COVID-19 lockdown.
She shared: “Obviously, there was terrible grief and sadness and fear around, but there was also this reclaiming for nature. I was constantly at my allotment with the big kids and my husband.”
Earlier this year, Charlotte described motherhood as her “main job” in life.
The singer insisted that her work will always come second to her brood.
She said: “I’ve always carried on singing and doing music, and I have my own ‘Late Night Pop Dungeon’ show – I’ve just done it in my own way.
“I’ve been quite uncompromising about my output and my creativity and how I want that to be. A lot of the time, that doesn’t have much mainstream feel, and that’s fine. As I said, I’ll just see where this river takes me. But my main job in life is as a mother, so as long as it doesn’t take me away from my beautiful babies too much.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Rina Sawayama says the infamous Christina Aguilera vs Britney Spears rivalry was “so silly”.
The ‘Beg For You’ singer says the music industry has come a long way since artists were pitted against each other and there’s a “space for everybody” due to streaming platforms.
She said: “It’s easy to start to buy into that narrative so much that if you don’t do this, someone else will.
“But I try not to engage in that anymore.”
Commenting on the famous Christina Aguilera vs Britney Spears rivalry that was heightened in the press, Rina told Rolling Stone UK: “It’s silly.
“We should all support each other as there is a space for everybody, especially because of streaming.”
In 2018, Christina admitted she felt “hurt” when she was pitted against Britney.
The ‘Beautiful’ hitmaker found it difficult when the pair appeared to be put against one another and admitted it was very hurtful to be portrayed as the “bad girl”.
She said: “It’s hard to hear yourself being called names. I remember being hurt by these commercials on MTV, pitting Britney as the good girl and me as the bad girl. It’s like, if I’m going to be demure and innocent, that’s OK. But if I’m going to just be myself, I’m trouble.”
However, there is one person Christina has feuded with, Pink, who she fell out with back in the early 2000s, leading to the pair trying to punch each other in a nightclub.
She said: “We were super young and super new at the whole thing, and I think I’m an alpha, and she’s an alpha. I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal. We’re just very different, we’re very different. And we were very young and new. You have to learn – women have to learn how to support each other. It’s not taught to each other in the playground.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matt Skiba is unsure whether he’s still in Blink-182.
The 46-year-old Alkaline Trio frontman started touring with the pop-punk veterans – Mark Hoppus, 50, and 46-year-old Travis Barker – in 2015, following the second departure of Tom DeLonge.
He remained in the group and went on to record two albums (2016’s ‘California’ and 2019’s ‘Nine’) with them.
However, he did not appear on their 2020 single ‘Quarantine’, which was released amid the global pandemic.
Over the weekend, one Instagram user commented on Matt’s selfie with “no Blink content” and “the Blink guys don’t post pictures with Matt”.
Responding to whether or not he’s still in the ‘What’s My Age Again?’ group, Matt replied: “Your guess is as good as mine.
“Regardless, I am very proud of and thankful for my time with Blink 182. We shall see…”
Tom has long expressed his desire to return to the band in the future.
And last year, Mark insisted he wasn’t against the idea.
He said: “We haven’t really talked about that, but I’m open to anything in the future
“I don’t know how that would work if it’s all four of us. Like, we’re all going to live in the same house again?”
In 2021, Angels and Airwaves frontman Tom, 46, revealed he had started repairing his relationship with Mark after his cancer diagnosis.
He said: “The way the universe works is strange because I reached out to Mark because I needed him to sign this piece of paper that had to do with my divorce. Only because of that call did I learn he had cancer. And he told me on the phone. I was like, ‘Wait, what?’ And we weren’t really talking much at all, maybe once every couple of months, a little text here and there. But now, we talk multiple times a day. So it’s like we’ve been able to completely repair that friendship and really cut to the depth of who we are as people and what this is all about.”
The musician was declared cancer-free in September 2021, after battling an aggressive form of lymphoma.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga performed ‘Monster’ for the first time in eight years at the opening night of ‘The Chromatica Ball’.
The pop megastar kicked off her delayed jaunt in support of her 2020 LP ‘Chromatica’ at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, Germany on Sunday night (17.07.22), and her Little Monsters were in for a treat.
The ‘House of Gucci’ actress not only performed nine songs from the Grammy-winning album, including ‘Stupid Love’, ‘Rain On Me’ and ‘911′ and ‘Sour Candy’, but she also dusted off her 2009 hit that she hasn’t performed live since April 2014.
The 20-song setlist also included fan-favourites ‘Bad Romance’, ‘Just Dance’, ‘Poker Face’ and ‘Born This Way’, as well as ‘Shallow’ and ‘Always Remember Us This Way’ from ‘A Star is Born’.
The evening ended with Gaga’s epic ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ soundtrack ‘Hold My Hand’.
Ahead of the show, Gaga shared that she is “more pain-free” than she has been in ages.
The 36-year-old singer-and-actress suffers from fibromyalgia – a chronic condition that causes widespread pain and extreme tiredness – and took to social media to thank fans for their support.
In the clip, she said: “I want to really thank you for sticking it out with me, and loving me through all the different iterations of my artistry, as well as me as a person. I feel more clear today than I have in a long time, and more pain-free than I have in ages.”
The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker – whose real name is Stefani Germanotta – said the tour will be a “healing” experience because she is finally able to dance and “tell the story” that she wanted to.
She continued: “Being free of pain on stage is a real healing experience because I’m able to dance and sing and enjoy the audience, enjoy the show…and really tell a story. I just want to thank you. I’m going to thank you in another way, and it’s through this performance. And it will be through every performance. I don’t know that I’ve been as speechless as I am today, knowing what we’re about to do.”
Back in 2020, Gaga explained that as a result of the condition, her “whole body” was in pain but was receiving “mental health therapy” as a form of treatment.
She said: “Fibromyalgia is essentially a chronic pain condition that makes your body hurt through your brain. Now, someone that might be watching this that has it might be saying, don’t tell me that my fibromyalgia is in my head because my whole body hurts. Even sitting here with you today, I’m in head-to-toe pain. But what’s interesting about it is that I’ve found through neuropsychic research and my relationship with my doctors that fibromyalgia can be treated through mental health therapy. And mental health is a medical condition. It should be treated as a medical condition. It should not be ignored.”
Following its opening night in Dusseldorf on Sunday, ‘The Chromatica Ball’ is set to visit Stockholm, Paris, London, and a slew of US states before wrapping in Miami, Florida in mid-September.

OHMYGOSSIP — Delfonics lead singer William ‘Poogie’ Hart has died aged 77.
The founding member of the hugely influential and much-sampled soul band – whose 1968 hit ‘La-La (Means I Love You)’ was covered by Prince and the Jackson 5 – passed away from complications from surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he was hospitalised with breathing difficulties, his son Hadi confirmed to TMZ.
William formed Delfonics with his brother Wilbert, Randy Cain, Ritchie Daniels and Thom Bell in 1965, and they are famous for popularising The Sound of Philadelphia.
Their hits include ‘Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time)’, ‘Break Your Promise’, ‘I’m Sorry’, and ‘Ready or Not Here I Come (Can’t Hide from Love)’.
‘Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time)’ landed them a Grammy for Best R’n’B Performance By A Duo Or Group, Vocal Or Instrumental in 1971.
‘Ready or Not Here I Come (Can’t Hide from Love)’ was sampled by the Fugees on their 1996 hit ‘Ready or Not’ and Missy Elliott’s 1997 track ‘Sock It 2 Me’.
William penned all of their tunes with arranger and producer Thom.
The late Randy left the group in 1971 and was replaced by Major Harris before the group went their separate ways in 1975.
William continued to work with various incarnations of the line-up throughout the 90s and 2000s.
As well as legions of samples and covers, Delfonics’ music was used in movie soundtracks and games.
‘Didn’t I’ and ‘La-La’ were used in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Jackie Brown’, while ‘Ready or Not Here I Come (Can’t Hide from Love)’ and ‘Funny Feeling’ feature in ‘Grand Theft Auto V’.
Tributes have poured in for William.
KISS rocker Paul Stanley tweeted: “LOVE The Delfonics! They truly defined The Sound Of Philadelphia. William Hart not only sang but co-wrote their greatest hits with Thom Bell. I’d know that voice anywhere. Rest In Glory.”
New Kids on the Black, who covered ‘Didn’t I (Blow Your Mind This Time)’ on their 1986 self-titled debut studio album, wrote: “We are so saddened to learn of the passing of William Hart, the lead singer and founding member of the Delfonics as well as the writer and singer of one of our most beloved songs: the cover version of “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind”. Rest In Peace. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lil Uzi Vert has seemingly confirmed they are non-binary.
The ‘You Was Right’ rapper – whose real name is Symere Bysil Woods – changed their pronouns to they/them on their Instagram bio.
International Non-Binary People’s Day was on July 14, suggesting the update was made then.
The 26-year-old star announced a new EP called ‘Red and White’ over the weekend.
And over on SoundCloud Uzi shared the track ‘Space Cadet’.
They wrote: “I am a Space cadet the geek that real. (sic)”
Meanwhile, in December, Uzi claimed their insurance company tried to “cut [them] off” after they got their forehead pierced with a $24 million pink diamond.
The hip-hop star admitted it caused concern when they had the rock inserted into their face early last year, because the firm they had life insurance with thought they was “trying to kill them self” and were going to cancel his policy.
Speaking on Twitch streamer Trainwreck’s ‘scuffed’ podcast, they said: “My insurance tried to cut me off, they were like, ‘This kid’s trying to kill himself,’ because we knew it was a piercing, my insurance looked at it like, ‘This kid just implanted this diamond in his head, and he’s gonna die.’ I really had to call the piercing person and show them low-key… it’s literally a piercing.”
Fortunately, the rap star suggested the matter had been sorted out.
They continued: “But everything’s straight.
“I never even thought about my insurance company, like my life insurance. I just started living life, I’m like ‘what the f*** are they calling for?’”
Uzi’s diamond was ripped out of their forehead when they jumped into the crowd during their performance at Miami’s Rolling Loud Festival, and though they still have the jewel, they had to give the site time to “heal” before they could think about having it put back in.
They said: “This is actually the back post of it, It was pretty heavy, it was like ripping my forehead and I had to let it reheal.”
The ‘Over Your Head’ hitmaker previously admitted it took them over five years to save up for the diamond.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has pulled out of headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022.
The 45-year-old rapper – who is now legally known as Ye – has been replaced by Kid Cudi at the upcoming music festival, which kicks off on Friday (22.07.22) at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, despite having spent “months” working with the team on his performance.
Rolling Loud co-founders Tariq Cherif and Matt Zingle told Variety: “We were looking forward to Ye headlining Rolling Loud Miami 2022. We spent months working with him and his team on the performance.
“Unfortunately, Ye has decided that he will no longer be performing. This is the first time a headliner has ever pulled off our show and though we don’t take it lightly, we wish him the best. We look forward to welcoming Kid Cudi as a headliner in Miami and we can’t wait to see what he has in store.”
The pair claimed they did the “utmost to keep Kanye on the line-up until the last possible moment” – but “he wasn’t having it”.
Earlier this year, Ye pulled out of Coachella due to personal reasons.
According to an insider, the ‘Famous’ star decided to back out of the festival because he wanted to take time away from the spotlight after being embroiled in a series of scandals involving his ex-wife Kim Kardashian – the mother of his four kids – and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson.
They said: “Kanye is backing out because he wants to stay out of the public eye after all the drama with Kim and Pete, he wants to get help.”
His targeted harassment of the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star – and then fellow comic Trevor Noah, who called out Ye’s behaviour on ‘The Daily Show’ – led to him being suspended from Instagram temporarily.
One of his alarming messages read: “Im really concerned that SKETE [his nickname for Pete] will get my kids mom hooked on drugs He’s in rehab every 2 months. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Limp Bizkit have postponed their UK and European tour due to frontman Fred Durst’s “personal health concerns”.
The 51-year-old rapper and his bandmates have been forced to cancel their shows planned for this summer after the frontman was advised by his physician to take an “immediate break from touring” after he ran some health checks.
In a social media statement, the ‘Break Stuff’ rockers said: “For personal health concerns and based on medical advice given by my personal physician to take an immediate break from touring, Limp Bizkit will sadly have to postpone their 2022 Uk and European tour. We truly apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to our loyal fans, promoters and support staff. Stand by for further news. Sincerely, Fred and Limp Bizkit.”
In a video message to fans, Fred explained that he needs to undergo further testing to find out exactly what is going on, while he vowed to make it up to fans of the nu-metal legends.
He said: “Greetings to whoever is watching and to our fans in the U.K. and all across Europe.
“In preparation for the 2022 summer tour in U.K. and Europe, I have decided to do some tests to make sure I’m in good physical condition and everything’s okay. And to my surprise, my doctor has decided to send me a letter telling me he would not like me to tour at this time and to stay close by to do some more tests. And that being said, this was very unexpected news and I’m so sorry and I look forward to making it up to you as soon as possible. And I can only thank you so much for your support. And I truly am grateful for everyone who was going to take their time out of their busy lives and come see Limp Bizkit perform this summer. And I look forward to making that up to you as soon as possible and I’m definitely already trying to think of ways to do that.”
He went on: “I regrettably have to tell you that we’re not gonna be able to make it at this moment, but I’m only wishing for the best and I know everything is going to be okay. And again, thank you so much for your support as we do love and cherish our connection with you more than anything on this planet. And we are really looking forward to seeing you and doing what we do, and you know what that is.

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher sings through straws to help warm up his vocal cords before a gig.
The former Oasis rocker has revealed the unique way he was advised to prepare his voice for gigs by a doctor after having vocal issues on his tour with U2 in 2019.
Speaking on Matt Morgan’s ‘Funny How?’ podcast, he said: “He gave me his paper straw and said, ‘Half an hour before you go on, in your room, put some music on and put this straw in your mouth and just hum along to whatever comes on and your vocal cords will warm up’.
“I was a bit sceptical, but it really does work. Usually, it would take me a couple of tunes to get into it and now I’m straight into it, straight off the bat.”
The 55-year-old musician always makes sure he has a stash of straws wherever he goes now.
He added: “I carry them everywhere now. I have a little pot of paper straws.
“Some of the girls in the office went, ‘Are you smoking again? People saw you carrying around a cigarette backstage, looks so cool’.
“I was like, ‘No, it’s just a straw to warm up with.'”
Meanwhile, the ‘Wonderwall’ songwriter previously revealed he suffered “brutal panic attacks” after using cocaine for three years.
Noel admitted that he finally decided to quit the illegal drug after repeated use in the 1990s led to disturbing panic attacks.
Speaking on the podcast in 2020, he recalled: “It was from 1995 till 1998. That was my crazy years.
“I did have to check into hospital once. I was in Detroit as a matter of fact and imagine having the psychosis and having to have to go to hospital.
“They don’t understand a word you are saying because of your accent and you are like ‘I think I am on my way out’.
“I had a few brutal panic attacks, which I why I quit.”
Although he partied hard in his youth, he no longer enjoys cocaine and now finds it boring when other people start taking it at parties.
He said previously: “It doesn’t bother me. I can sit in a room full of people doing f***king mountains of cocaine – it doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
“I could sit with people smoking and all that. You just know that when the coke comes out the night is going to take a s*** turn. It’s always like fun and games and once someone gets the coke out then all of a sudden it’s ‘Well, it’s time for me to go anyway, because this is now boring’.”
Noel also insisted that he found it easy to quit cocaine and he didn’t need rehab to do so.
He said: “I don’t think I was too working-class [to go to rehab]. I don’t think I was too cool. I didn’t need to. I didn’t need to do it.
“I woke up one morning and said: ‘That’s it’. I gave up smoking by accident. I just didn’t have another f**king cigarette. It wasn’t, ‘Today I am going to attempt to give up smoking’. [Similarly] I’d had enough of drugs. I think at the time I was thinking that I’m going to give up drugs for f**king six months and see what happens.
“I wasn’t planning on such a major lifestyle change. But after about two weeks I was like I f**king much prefer this! Much prefer it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — George Ezra has announced a slew of arena dates for 2023.
After headlining London’s Finsbury Park at the weekend, the ‘Green Green Grass’ hitmaker has announced three arena shows in the UK and Ireland for next spring.
The 29-year-old pop star will play Dublin’s 3Arena on March 8, Killarney’s INEC Arena on March 10, and London’s The O2 on March 13, 2023.
Before then, George will play nine dates in the UK and Ireland this September and October, kicking off on September 13 in Liverpool.
Tickets for the new dates will go on sale at 10 am BST on Friday (22.07.22).
The run is in support of George’s third studio album ‘Gold Rush Kid’.
Meanwhile, the ‘Shotgun’ hitmaker has a new documentary heading to UK cinemas on August 29.
‘End To End’ gives fans the chance to join George on his 95-day trip from Land’s End in South West England to the top end of mainland UK, John O’Groats.
George said: “I started the walk just after I’d finished the album, and we committed ourselves to three months on this adventure.
“While I was on the walk, I started receiving mixes of the new songs I had been working on, so the journey was sound-tracked by the new album and each made the other more meaningful.
“It wasn’t lost on me that this was a real life-changing moment, it really transformed my perception of the world.
“I’m so glad that audiences will be able to see it on a big screen and we can celebrate the experience.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Fleur East is planning a pop comeback with David Guetta.
The 34-year-old singer – who was the runner-up to Ben Haenow in ‘The X Factor’ final in 2014 – revealed she got to know David when she interviewed him for her radio show and the pair are planning to collaborate.
She told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I’ve interviewed David on Hits Radio a few times and my co-host James Barr dropped me in it and went, ‘David, Fleur can sing.’
“He went: ‘Can you DM me?’ and I sent him my Spotify.
“He came back to me and he was like, ‘Oh my God, I didn’t realise that was you? That’s crazy.’
“He said it would be great to collaborate. We’ve kept in touch so watch this space.”
And Fleur revealed she can’t wait to release new music again.
She said: “A lot of my music is used in TV and adverts.
“My latest song, called ‘Confidence’, is being used for a new dating show ‘Lovestruck High’ on Amazon.
“But this year, I’m ready to put out my music again, I’m itching to do it now.”
