Motown legend Lamont Dozier has died aged 81

OHMYGOSSIP — Motown legend Lamont Dozier has died, aged 81.
The songwriting genius, behind classics such as ‘Baby Love’ and ‘Two Hearts’, has passed away, his son Lamont Dozier Jr confirmed on Instagram.
He wrote alongside a picture of the pair: “Rest in Heavenly Peace, Dad!!!”
A cause of death is not known at this time.
Producer Brandon Williams led tributes to Lamont, writing: “Another man that sat down and taught me a lot about music is gone.
“The great Lamont Dozier. I’ll never forget meeting and working with him along with the Holland Brothers in 2006. Thank you for all you did for me and for the world at large. You definitely made this place better.”
Lamont was one third of the iconic songwriting trio Holland-Dozier-Holland, who are known for co-writing huge hits for Motown acts such as The Four Tops, The Supremes and The Isley Brothers.
Their songwriting credits also include ‘Reach Out I’ll Be There’, ‘Where Did Our Love Go’ and ‘Baby I Need Your Love’.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, aka Music City, Lamont’s first foray into music was singing in the gospel choir at his local Baptist church.
He would go on to sign to Berry Gordy’s legendary Motown record label in 1962.
Lamont and siblings Eddie and Brian Holland would get their first string of hits with The Vandellas’ ‘Come and Get These Memories’ and ‘Heatwave’ in 1963.
A year later, they hit the big time with The Supremes’ mega-hit ‘Where Did Our Love Go’, their first No.1, and certainly not their last, as they went on to score a further nine chart-toppers.
In 1973, Lamont parted ways with his songwriting partners and released his own music.
The following decade, he and Phil Collins joined forces on a new rendition of ‘Two Hearts’ for the soundtrack to the 1988 film ‘Buster’.
It topped the charts and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and the Grammy Award for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television in 1989.
In 1990, Holland-Dozier-Holland were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Lamont’s composer credits include tracks for the likes of Kanye West, Sir Rod Stewart, Lil Wayne, and Solange, to name a few.

Perrie Edwards’ solo music will ‘blow everyone’s minds’

OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards’ solo music will “blow everyone’s minds”.
The Little Mix star has recently been in the studio with the girl group’s songwriter Kamille, producer Fred again.. and Ed Sheeran’s regular collaborator and producer to the stars Steve Mac.
In a new interview, Kamille didn’t give away too many teasers about what to expect from the 29-year-old pop star’s new direction, but said it’s far from what fans would expect.
Speaking to OfficialCharts.com, she said of the sound: “I don’t even know. They’re just so early in their discovery of what they want to do.
“There’s so many things that they’re interested in, I couldn’t pinpoint it to one thing. The best thing right now is that we’re having fun discovering. Hearing their voices on stuff you wouldn’t typically hear it on is just sending me. It’s so, so exciting for me. Can you imagine, as someone who’s used to just one thing with them? I couldn’t even pinpoint it, but just know it’s going to blow everyone’s minds.”
Kamille shared how Perrie feels “so worried and insecure” that her vocals aren’t good enough, and she can’t understand why.
Heaping praise on Perrie’s flawless vocals, she added: “Perrie will get in the booth and she’ll be so worried and insecure. Even when I was with her the other week with Steve Mac, she got into the booth and was like ‘I don’t know if I can do it.’
“I looked at her and I was like ‘are you actually serious? Your voice is one of the best voices I’ve ever heard, hands down.’ She’s incredible. She doesn’t even know how good she is, and that’s one of the most beautiful things about Perrie; she’s so humble. It’s been so exciting to be making music with her. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it all done.
“As you know, there’s so much more to come from her.”
Kamille was a regular collaborator of Little Mix – who went on hiatus in May – and Steve produced Perrie and her bandmates’ 2018 hit ‘Woman Like Me’.
Last month, Kamille took to her Instagram Story to share a clip of the trio in the studio and captioned the post: “Crying. This sounds. So. good.”
All the Little Mix girls are focusing on solo ventures, with Leigh-Anne Pinnock recently telling fans on her new Twitter account that she doesn’t want to rush her solo music.
She wrote: “I’m 100 per cent not rushing anything!
“It has to be perfect, very excited though.”
In February, it was announced that Leigh-Anne, 30, had signed her first solo record deal with major label Warner Records and will be represented by Tap Music.
Recently, Leigh-Anne has been in the studio with ‘Secrets’ singer RAYE.
She gushed: “@raye you are a FORCEEEE. Your talent is so fricken inspiring. (sic)”
The teaser of the pair working together came after Leigh-Anne was the victim of a leak after her debut solo single, ‘I Need You’, circulated online. Warner Music swiftly had links to the recording taken down.
Jade Thirlwall, 29, signed with RCA Records in March.
The ‘Shout Out to My Ex’ hitmakers promised fans their break – which comes after fourth member Jesy Nelson, 31, quit the band in December 2020 – does not spell the end of the girl group.

Jade Thirlwall is ‘taking a break’ from music

OHMYGOSSIP — Jade Thirlwall is “taking a break” from music.
The 29-year-old pop star shot to fame back in 2011 as part of Little Mix alongside Perrie Edwards, Leigh Anne Pinnock, and former member Jesy Nelson and even though she has been in the studio recording solo material following their hiatus but is refusing to “rush release” anything because the “stakes are massive.”
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre Column: “The stakes are massive. Jade has what it takes to become a huge star but it would be foolish to rush-release some half-hearted tack.”
The source went on to explain that the ‘Confetti’ hitmaker – who has been dating Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens since 2020 – has been working on new material and is “planning for the future” but is also “enjoying a break” from the music industry.
The insdier added: “Jade has been in the studio a lot but at the moment it’s about planning for the future while enjoying a break following her 11 years in Little Mix.”
Meanwhile, Jade’s former bandmate Jesy – who quit the band prior to the hiatus in December 2020 citing mental health issues – teamed up with rap star Nicki Minaj back in 2021 to release ‘Boyz’, while Leigh Anne signed a deal with Warner Records back in March 2022 and as been in the studio with ‘Secrets’ singer RAYE.
What’s more, Perrie has recently been in the studio with songwriter Kamille – who penned several hits with the ‘X Factor’ winning girl group – teased that her solo career will “blow everyone’s minds.”
She said: “Can you imagine? As someone who’s used to just one thing with them? I couldn’t even pinpoint it, but just know it’s going to blow everyone’s minds. Perrie will get in the booth and she’ll be so worried and insecure. Even when I was with her the other week with Steve Mac, she got into the booth and was like ‘I don’t know if I can do it.’I looked at her and I was like ‘Are you actually serious? Your voice is one of the best voices I’ve ever heard, hands down.’ She’s incredible!”

Beyonce and Roland Isley re-work Isley Brothers’ hit

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyoncé has a duet with Roland Isley of the Isley Brothers coming out this week.
The ‘Alien Superstar’ singer and the former frontman of the iconic family band have teamed up on a new version of Isley Brothers’ ‘Make Me Say It Again Girl, Pts. 1 and 2′ from their 975 LP ‘The Heat Is On’.
Ronald, 81, has shared a snippet of the re-work, which is set for release on August 12.
It’s also been played on iHeart Radio stations.
Roland posted on Instagram this week: “WORLD PREMIERE of what we’ve been working on starting at 10am est and every hour on the hour over on your favorite @iheartradio station #theisleybrothers #beyoncé #mmsiag. (sic)”
He later followed up the teaser with the release date and artwork.
Last year, Snoop Dogg joined forces with the Isley Brothers’ on the track ‘Friends and Family’, their first single since their 2017 studio album, ‘Power of Peace’.
Beyoncé’s latest collaboration comes after she released her comeback album, ‘Renaissance’, and the subsequent EP ‘Break My Soul Remixes’ in July.
Madonna, who the ‘Halo’ hitmaker has just hailed a “masterpiece genius”, also appears on another release of house hit ‘Break My Soul’.
The 40-year-old singer sent flowers and a message of appreciation to the 63-year-old pop legend following the release of their ‘Break My Soul (The Queens Remix)’ – which samples Madonna’s 1990 classic ‘Vogue’ – and in the note, she thanked the ‘Beautiful Stranger’ hitmaker for “opening so many doors” for women in the music industry.
Madonna shared a close-up of the message and a picture of the flowers on her Instagram Story.
The note read: “Thank you, Queen. I’m so grateful for you. You have opened so many doors for so many women. You are a masterpiece genius. Thank you for allowing me to sing in your song and thank you for naming the remix!!!! Love always and forever, B.(sic)”
Madonna thanked Beyoncé for the gesture, describing them both to be queens with a pair of crown emojis.
She captioned her post: “[Heart emojis] thank you!! from one [crown emoji] to another [crown emoji]. I love the Re-Mix! @beyonce [heart emojis] (sic)”
On the remix, Beyoncé imitates Madonna’s classic spoken-word section of ‘Vogue’ as she name-drops iconic Black women in music, including Aaliyah, Nina Simone, and her own sister, Solange Knowles.
She also gives a shoutout to the ‘Ray of Light’ hitmaker, singing: “Queen Mother Madonna, Aaliyah, Rosetta Tharpe, Santigold, Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Betty Davis, Solange Knowles. Lauryn Hill, Roberta Flack, Toni, Janet, Tierra Whack. Missy, Diana, Grace Jones, Aretha, Anita, Grace Jones.”
This is the first collaboration between Madonna and Beyoncé.
Beyoncé had already surprised fans by releasing four different versions of her ‘Break My Soul’.
The first song on the four-track EP is a will.i.am remix of ‘Break My Soul’, while US DJ Terry Hunter provides a five-minute 30-second version.
A six-minute 27 seconds Honey Dijon remix is the third song, and the final one is a mammoth nine-minute 54-second Nita Aviance Club Mix.

MONSTA X’s I.M reveals why he quit K-Pop band’s agency

OHMYGOSSIP — MONSTA X’s I.M has explained why he parted ways with the K-Pop boy band’s agency Starship Entertainment.
The 26-year-old rapper has reassured fans that he will still remain a member of the septet – also comprising Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Joohoney – but decided to end his contract with Starship as he longed for a “new challenge”.
In a letter to their fanbase – nicknamed Monbebe – I.M is translated as saying: “Seven years have gone by since I made my first start as a singer with Starship.
“As we’ve been together for a long time, I’ve grown fond [of Starship], but I thought I needed a new challenge with different meaning, so after a lot of thinking, I came to this decision. I want to sincerely thank my Starship family members who I’ve spent many days with, laughing and crying together up until now.
“To Monbebe, who created our happiest and brightest moments with us. I will prioritsze MONSTA X’s promotions and MONSTA X will be with Monbebe as six, like always.
“I love you Monbebe. I will become an Im Chang Kyun and I.M who shows you an image of continuing growth. (sic)”
MONSTA X signed with Starship in 2015.
In a statement shared earlier this week on the group’s official fan cafe site, where I.M also shared his note, the agency confirmed: “As all six members share the same thoughts and affection towards the group and MONBEBE (MONSTA X’s official fanbase), I.M has agreed to continue and participate in the group’s future plans.
“Our sincere appreciation goes out to I.M for the hard work and dedication he has shown over the years.
“We will support him wholeheartedly for both his participation as a member of MONSTA X and an individual artist.”

Back in May, they released the mini-album ‘Shape of Love’.

Jim Carrey originally The Weeknd Dawn FM narrator role

OHMYGOSSIP — Jim Carrey had originally declined The Weeknd’s offer to appear on his ‘Dawn FM’ album.
The Hollywood actor, who announced his intentions to retire from acting in March 2022, wasn’t wanting to work when the ‘Blinding Lights’ hitmaker approached him to be the DJ for ‘Dawn FM’.
The ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ star said: “He put it to me that he was doing this thing that was the radio station in purgatory.
“I was like, ‘I love you, but I don’t want to do any work.’”
However, he couldn’t help himself and started to create a character before recording his narrations for the 2022 record.
Carrey told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I started spitting bars, of all things, for God’s sake.”
The 60-year-old star was “so gratified” to land such a “beautiful place” on the record.
He added: “I said to him, ‘Use nothing at all, or use a line here and there if you want to, but I don’t have to be in it, whatever.’
“He said, ‘No, it’s fire, you gotta do this,’ and gave me a really beautiful place on the album … I’m so gratified.”
Carrey provided the narration to the album’s title track, ‘Out of Time’ and ‘Phantom Regret by Jim’.
The ‘Mask’ star had previously hailed the LP “deep and elegant”.
He tweeted: “I listened to Dawn FM with my good friend Abel @theweeknd last night.
“It was deep and elegant and it danced me around the room. I’m thrilled to play a part in his symphony.”
Carrey claimed he will only take on “really important” acting gigs going forward as he wants to lead a “quiet life”.
He said: “Well, I’m retiring. Yeah, probably. I’m being fairly serious.
“It depends, if the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road but I’m taking a break.
“I really like my quiet life and I really like putting paint on canvas and I really love my spiritual life and I feel like, and this is something you might never hear another celebrity say as long as time exists – I have enough. I’ve done enough. I am enough.”

Sir Elton John could have a future in the metaverse

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John could continue performing in the metaverse long after he retires from the road.
The 75-year-old music legend is bowing out of touring after his mammoth ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour wraps next July.
However, there is a five-year plan in place to bring the ‘I’m Still Standing’ hitmaker’s music to future generations, while careful consideration is being given to how Elton can appear in the virtual reality (VR) sphere.
Speaking to Music Week magazine, his husband and manager David Furnish said of the metaverse: “That’s going to be a big new market for music discovery.
“We’re looking at it closely but carefully. Elton’s been a bit like an avatar his entire life, throwing things on and off, changing and moving forward.”
The team behind the ‘Rocket Man’ are already getting his music to younger generations, with more than 50 per cent of his back catalogue consumed by those aged 18 to 35.
No doubt a lot of those fans came from Elton’s Dua Lipa duet ‘Cold Heart’, which saw the ‘Tiny Dancer’ hitmaker land a top 10 song in “six different decades”.
David commented: “It’s hard to get all the data you want from the streaming companies, but Spotify in particular, 58% of Elton’s music is now consumed by 18-35-year-olds. That is absolutely what we wanted and what we hoped for. It’s why Elton always said he appreciated the opportunity with ‘The Lion King’, it’s why we did something like ‘Gnomeo And Juliet’ 10 years ago, to keep the songs in his catalogue alive and introduce them to a new generation.”
He is also teaming up with pop icon Britney Spears on her comeback single, ‘Hold Me Closer’, a revamped version of Elton’s 1971 hit ‘Tiny Dancer’.
What’s more, a new Disney+ documentary, ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’, is heading to the streamer, which will coincide with Elton’s final concert in the US at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on November 20.
David said: “Disney+ has 138 million subscribers, it gives you an opportunity to reach a wide audience and mark an important milestone for Elton and the industry.
“I don’t think there will ever be another Elton John. The closing of the narrative will be Elton walking off stage and saying farewell to touring in North America.”

Mark Owen releases Bee Gees-esque single Magic

OHMYGOSSIP — Mark Owen has shared his latest solo single, ‘Magic’.
The ‘Could It Be Magic’ singer – who is one third of Take That with Gary Barlow and Howard Donald – has shared the latest taste of his upcoming album, ‘Land Of Dreams, which lands on September 23.
The Bee Gees-esque tune boasts an epic guitar solo, and the 50-year-old star can’t wait to hear it performed live.
He said of experimenting with his sound: “I’ve really been trying to capture lots of different energies from all the shows I’ve seen. So I’ve made songs that I want to see live. There’s a guitar solo in ‘Magic’ that I’m dying to perform because I want to hear how that guitar solo sounds on stage!”
‘Magic’ follows the well-received singles ‘You Only Want Me’ and ‘Are You Looking For Billy?’.
Mark’s solo return comes almost a decade after the release of his 2013 LP ‘The Art of Doing Nothing’.
Meanwhile, Mark, bandmate Howard and former Take That star Robbie Williams will likely bump into each other at Radio 2 Live in Leeds next month.
‘Angels’ hitmaker Robbie recently joined the line-up for BBC Radio 2’s annual festival, which is usually held at London’s Hyde Park, but is taking place at Leeds’ Temple Newsam Park on September 17 and 18.
Robbie, 48, is set to headline, with the accompaniment of the BBC Concert Orchestra, on Sunday night, while Howard, 54, will play a DJ set in the new Radio 2 DJ Tent.
Mark was previously confirmed to be joining the likes of Spice Girl Melanie C, Nile Rodgers and Chic, George Ezra, Emeli Sandé, Heather Small and Olly Murs on Sunday.

Tickets are on sale via www.bbc.co.uk/radio2live.

Alex James won’t have a kitchen injury at Big Feastival

OHMYGOSSIP — Alex James has pledged not to “cut [his] finger off” at his Big Feastival.
The Blur bassist will be throwing open the doors of his Cotswolds farm to festivalgoers later this month and though he’ll be getting stuck in to preparing food for the revellers, he joked he won’t be repeating the gaffe he made on TV show ‘Sunday Brunch’ in July, when he sliced a “big chunk” out of his finger and hand while cooking steak on air.
He told the new issue of Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “We really missed Feastival during the pandemic. We’ve got it all going on.
“I’ll be making the best roast beef and smoked salmon in the world, with caviar, truffles and chips, all washed down with our Britpop cider.
“But I’ll try not to cut my finger off.”
Alex explained he’d been given tips on knife skills by top chef Marco Pierre White, but they didn’t help when he was on the show.
He said: “Marco Pierre White once taught me to chop onions without looking, but I literally saw the knife take my fingernail off.”
Alex – who has Geronimo, 18, twins Artemas and Galileo, 16, Sable, 13, and 12-year-old Beatrix with wife Claire – is expecting 25,000 people at his Feastival and joked he feels like Pa Larkin from ITV’s ‘Darling Buds of May’ which starred Catherine Zeta-Jones.
He quipped: “I’ve made five children, six cheeses and seven albums… I’ve always been a big fan of Catherine Zeta-Jones!”
Meanwhile, the ‘Coffee and TV’ hitmaker doesn’t travel far for “spiritual fulfilment” because he can’t think of anything more satisfying than grazing on cheese in bed.
He said: “Bed is my favourite place to eat it. Claire and I share a love of good food and flop around while watching TV, eating and listening to music.
“Food and music have always gone well together.
“Ever since the Middle Ages, monks have been singing in their monasteries in the morning and making cheese in the afternoon.
“You can’t get closer to spiritual fulfilment than that.”
Lined up for this year’s 11th annual Big Feastival includes Stereophonics, the Sugababes, The Human League, Anne-Marie, Basement Jaxx and Eurovision runner-up Sam Ryder.

Kanye West reveals ‘biggest inspiration’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West is inspired by “the children” and “the homeless”.
The ‘Jesus Walks’ rapper – who has North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and three-year-old Psalm with ex-wife Kim Kardashian – has shared a cryptic note on Instagram urging creatives of all types to look to similar places for ideas.
He wrote: “Look to the children… Look to the homeless… As the biggest inspiration for all design.”
Earlier this week, Kanye caused controversy with another of his Instagram posts.
The 44-year-old rapper shared a fake newspaper cover which claimed Pete Davidson – who has been the subject of a number of his online rants after he struck up a romance with Kim – had died, days after the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star was revealed to have split from the SKIMS founder.
The fake cover of the New York Times newspaper shared to his Instagram account had the headline: “Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28″.
Last month, Kanye pulled out of Rolling Loud Miami at short notice, with Kid Cudi stepping in to replace him as headliner.
However, during his set, the 41-year-old rapper walked off stage after repeatedly having objects thrown at him by the crowd, and Kanye also made reference to the incident in his post.
The bottom of the folded fake paper had a sub-heading which stated: “Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers.”
In March, Kanye released a shocking animated music video for his song ‘Eazy’, in which he decapitated and buried Pete.
The video came shortly after the ‘Stronger’ hitmaker insisted he wasn’t harassing the comedian – who dated Kim for nine months before they went their separate ways – but was looking for “payback”.
He recently posted a throwback snap of the comedian joking about his mental health struggles on ‘Saturday Night Live’.
In the image, Pete is seen wearing a cap that reads, “Make Kanye 2006 Again”.
The skit also made fun of Kanye’s friendship with former US President Donald Trump.
Kanye – who refers to Pete as “Skete” – wrote on Instagram: “HI SKETE YOU GOT ANYMORE MENTAL HEALTH JOKES FOR ME? (sic)”
He wrote: “This boy thought he could get away with performing this sketch for the team that wrote this for him.”
However, he insisted “This is not harassment This is payback. (sic)”
In the skit, Pete performed an impression of the father-of-four.
The comedian said: “This is the real me. I am off the meds, take ’em, no shame in the medicine game.”

Ezra Miller identified with Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club

OHMYGOSSIP — Ezra Furman has always identified with Ally Sheedy’s character in ‘The Breakfast Club’.
The 35-year-old singer – who came out as trans last year – is a huge fan of John Hughes’ 1985 cult classic and was a particular fan of the actress’ “cool, outsider alter ego Allison Reynolds.
Ezra – who has a song called ‘Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club’ on her new album, ‘All of us Flames’ – told Esquire magazine: “I’ve probably seen that film 90 times. Ally Sheedy’s character was always my favourite.
“She’s got her claws out in such a cool, outsider and feminine way.
“I kind of wanted to look like her but really, that exact same thing is just in me.”
But Ezra wasn’t a fan of the character’s preppy makeover at the end of the film.
She said: “Come on! No one likes that version of her better.
“Then again, I don’t want to be a snob about it.
“I think the moving thing is, I don’t know… She does seem happier at the end.
“She’s not as cool, but she seems happier.”
Another track on the album, ‘Come Close’ reflects the way Ezra has let the “poison” she has experienced as a queer person “get to” her.
She said: “I don’t want to be approached in a sexual way on the street, of course, and yet I have some kind of fellowship with these people. People who are truly lost, in a way.
“That broken feeling that comes from being a rejected creature.
“I guess queer people are expected to be strident and be all, ‘I don’t care what anyone thinks’, ad that’s important, but there’s the other part of it, where you’re not strident and proud and you’re just feeling the poison and letting it get to you, which is a big part of my emotional life.
“The voice of transphobia, the voice in my head that I can’t shut off.
“I feel that song is where that kind of feeling lives.”

If it’s something that her heart’s in, Taylor can do whatever she wants. She could easily direct a feature and it’d be something I’d sign up for, for sure.”

Oscar nominations will be announced on January 24 2023 ahead of the ceremony on March 12.

Mabel lands new deal with TaP Management

OHMYGOSSIP — Mabel has landed a new deal with TaP Music.
The 26-year-old pop star has parted ways with her initial management company and will now team up with the firm that propelled ‘Levitating’ hitmaker Dua Lipa – who quit working with the company back in February after almost a decade – to global success.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “This is huge news for her. It’s been a stressful few months with the album drop and changing management but the new deal means she’s in the best hands. The team around her have an incredible track record and now the sky’s the limit.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ singer – who will join Ellie Goulding and former Little Mix star Leigh Anne Pinnock on the label – was keen to stress that she was “incredibly grateful” to her former management team for helping her achieve success so far and is looking forward to the future.
She said: “I’m incredibly grateful to my previous management for the instrumental part they played in my development. I’m now really looking forward to the future, ambitious to achieve as much as I can, and am extra positive knowing I face the future with TaP by my side.”
Mabel hit number three with her first record ‘High Expectations’ and back in July 2022 her sophomore album ‘About Last Night’ soared to number two in the charts but insisted that in changing teams she has “stuck by her guns” and has “worried less” about what others may think.
She added: “I’ve stuck by my guns and I’ve done what’s made me happy and I’ve worried less about what people thought and about the numbers. To me that’s a massive achievement because I’m such a people-pleaser and, actually, I’ve just been like, ‘I don’t care if it’s not getting the same attention.’
“Of course, there have been moments . . . but at the same time I’ve just put one foot in front of the other and been honest about it.”
