OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding have donated items to a raffle raising money for Ukraine.
Harry, 28, has donated a signed vinyl LP, with Ed offering a tour brochure and signed T-shirt and Ellie donating a signed merchandise bundle.
The trio have joined celebrities including Swedish House Mafia and Annie Lennox in donating to the World Health Organization foundation’s raffle to raise money for Ukraine’s health care system, following the invasion of the country by Russia.
A message on the WHO’s Human Kind website states: “Amidst the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, more than 17 million people urgently need their health and wellbeing to be protected.
“Be Human Kind. Donate today.
“Celebrities and brands around the world have donated exclusive items and experiences you could own. For as little as £5 or $10, make a donation to be in with a chance to win.
“The Human Kind store sells a collection of merchandise inspired by Ukraine. All profits go to supporting the health and wellbeing of those affected by the war.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nick Cave changed a Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds song after getting advice from Chris Martin.
The rock band recorded their 2019 LP ‘Ghosteen’ at the Coldplay frontman’s studio, and he would regularly come in and every now and then impart his honest opinion on the songs, and one track he influenced them to change from heavily-industrial to a traditional ballad was ‘Waiting For You’.
Nick and co “weren’t pleased” with the advice at first, but were thankful in the end.
Speaking to MOJO magazine, Nick said: “Chris is a very funny guy, with a perverse sense of humour, but he’s also disarmingly forthright.
“He tells his truth, as he sees it, as a matter of principle.
“Mostly, he loved the stuff, really loved it, but occasionally he made what were quite challenging suggestions that, if taken on board, would have radically altered the song.”
And so ‘Waiting For You’ went from being a “very loud, super-aggressive” to a “fragile, old-school ballad”.
Nick went on: “We had never really questioned it, but when we played it to Chris, he turned to us and said: ‘I love you guys very much, but is there any chance I could hear the song again without the f****** canning factory?…'”
Asked what they thought of the ‘Yellow’ hitmaker’s critique, he replied: “At the time, we weren’t so pleased.
“We took away the industrial loop and what was left was a very beautiful, vulnerable song shimmering there on its own – a classic, old-school ballad, raw and fragile and unimpeded. So thank God for that!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Graham Coxon wanted Blur and their fans to “miss” him when he departed the Britpop group.
The guitarist entered rehab for alcoholism in 2001 and his communications with his bandmates broke down and they decided to carry on without him for a while, going on to release the record ‘Think Tank’ in 2003, for which he only played on one track, ‘Battery in Your Leg’.
And the 53-year-old musician admits he wanted them to do terribly without him.
He told MOJO magazine: “I’d been trained up in The Priory to avoid jumping straight back into people, places and things you associate drink with.
“I felt I had a duty to tell them that I didn’t think that I could commit to touring.
“They were kind of horrified but it didn’t really go anywhere.
“Then I got the call from Chris Morrison, our manager, and he said, ‘Look, the guys don’t want you to come into the studio today. In fact, they don’t want you to come into the studio at all. Go home and we will let you know.’
“I thought, F*** me, this is a bit odd.’
“It’s like a girl saying, ‘I don’t want to split up, I just don’t want to see you anymore.’
“I had to make up my own mind.
“I did want them to fail, of course.
“I did want them to miss me. I wanted fans to miss me. I said some stuff I didn’t mean.”
After a tour, which saw former Verve guitarist Simon Tong step in for Graham, Damon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree announced a hiatus in 2007, which lasted until they reunited as a four-piece in 2009 for a number of festival shows, and Graham admits, with hindsight, the break was very much needed
He added: “But that bitterness wore off, especially when I knew how bloody hard it was for them.
“When they did stop in the end, I did feel bad.
“Honestly, we needed it. It wasn’t great how it came about but we needed a break.”
In 2015, Blur released their first studio album in 12 years, ‘The Magic Whip’, but they’ve been on hiatus since then working on solo projects.
Last month, it was reported that Blur are reportedly planning a major music comeback with a huge gig in London.
The Britpop legends are said to have been “privately masterminding” their return over the last year and they are hoping to schedule a massive concert at London’s Wembley Stadium to celebrate 30 years since the release of their 1994 album ‘Parklife’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Post Malone was forced to postpone his show in Boston after struggling to breathe.
The 27-year-old rapper – whose real name is Austin Richard Post – was due to take to the stage at the TD Garden in Boston on Saturday (24.09.22) but pulled the plug after finding that he was “unable to move.”
He wrote on Instagram: “I’m having a very difficult time breathing, and there’s like a stabbing pain whenever I breathe or move. Boston, I love y’all so f******much. On tour, I usually wake up around 4 o’clock PM, and today I woke up to cracking sounds on the right side of my body.”
The ‘Sunflower’ hitmaker added that he had felt “so good” the night before but admitted something had changed overnight and reassured fans that their tickets would remain valid for a rescheduled date .
He added: “I felt so good last night, but today it felt so different than it has before.”
Just days earlier, Post had injured his ribs after crashing through a hole in the stage at his St. Louis concert after he tripped and fell during a performance of his hit single ‘Circles.’
In a video message, he said: “Next time I’m around this way, we’re gonna do a two-hour show for you to make up for the couple songs that we
missed.”
Recalling how he took a tumble, he said: “Whenever we do the acoustic part of the show, the guitars on the guitar stand goes down and there’ this big a** hole, so I go around there and turn the corner and bust my a**. It winded me pretty good, it got me pretty good.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Slipknot are still making the best music of their career because they dropped their “egos and the “bull****”.
The metal legends release their seventh studio album ‘The End, So Far’ on September 30, and the ‘All Out Life’ rockers insist the reason they’ve stuck together for more than two decades and continue to release their best work is that they are all equals and still “love” what they do.
Speaking to Australian Guitar Magazine, guitarist Jim Root said: “We’re getting to that point in our career where we’re all in this together.
“We all want to do the best we can for the role we play in this band, and when that becomes the priority, that’s when you put ego aside, put all that bull**** aside, and work together to make something great.”
Guitarist Mick Thomson added: “We’d be stupid to keep doing this if we didn’t love it.
“There’s too much bull****.
“I think the biggest problem that breaks up bands is when everyone comes in with f****** egos.
“When egos and bull**** start to make a person nutty, that’s when problems happen and musicians start to hate each other.
“Fortunately, in the first few years after we blew up, nobody’s ego got too far out of check.
“And that can happen real f*****’ easy.”
He added: “There’s no I, there’s us.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Britney Spears is “trying” to collaborate on new music with the producer behind her hit record ‘Circus.’
The 40-year-old pop star teamed up with Benny Blanco back in 2008 to record the hit single from the chart-topping album of the same name – which also spawned the songs ‘Womanizer’ and ‘If U Seek Amy’ – and he has revealed that he has been in touch with Britney in the hopes that they can work together once again.
He told TMZ: “I actually recently just reached out to try to start working on some stuff. Like a month ago. I hope [to work with Britney] soon. We were talking about trying to do something. I love her new things she put out. She’s incredible. I hope she is doing it.”
The ‘…Baby One More Time’ hitmaker – who regained control of her multimillion-dollar fortune and various aspects of her life and career when a conservatorship governed by her family was terminated back in 2021 – has not released a full album since 2016’s ‘Glory’ but teamed up with fellow performing legend Sir Elton John back in August to release ‘Hold Me Closer’, which became her first top 10 in a decade.
However, the new claims come just days after Britney – who has completed ten headling tours and a four-year Las Vegas residency since beginning her pop career as a teenager back in 1998 – made the assertion “won’t probably perform” live again because she has been “pretty traumatised for life”.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, she said: “The most offensive SO CALLED professional pictures on every tour. I mean they could have at least cheated and retouched them for me… just saying… two day shoots for new show in Vegas literally the worst ever… and me excited for the pictures for five months on tour… they never showed me any. I’d rather quit s*** in my pool and shoot photos of myself in studios over working with the most offensive people in my life. I’m pretty traumatised for life and yes I’m p***** as f*** and no I won’t probably perform again just because I’m stubborn and I will make my point.” (sic)

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain doesn’t hold back with her “very frank lyrics” on her upcoming album.
The ‘You’re Still The One’ hitmaker kicked off a “new chapter” in her music career with the lead single ‘Waking Up Dreaming’ last week, and she’s teased that her first album since 2017’s ‘Now’ is intended to cheer people up and get them dancing.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, she said: “I’m really excited about cheering people up.
“This album is very chirpy and I’m very frank with my lyrics on it, so it’s not a fluffy, lyrical album. It’s a happy album.
“I had a very productive songwriting pandemic period and as much as we were isolated, it was almost like I wanted to cheer myself up, and that just came out in the music. It’s so danceable.”
Elsewhere, the 57-year-old star shared how she had originally turned down Harry Styles’ offer to duet with him at Coachella in April, because she wasn’t near to California, but admitted the performance ended up being a “lasting moment for all of us”.
The pair did renditions of her hits ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ and ‘You’re Still The One’ at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
She spilled: “Harry and I text, and he said, ‘Do you wanna come sing with me at Coachella?’ And I said, ‘Well, I’m not anywhere near LA, I’m really far away right now’.
“We were back and forth like that, then I wasn’t doing it, and then closer to it he said, ‘I really think you should do the first weekend, please do it’.
“There was no big production about it and it ended up being such an enormous, lasting moment for all of us.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John wants Britney Spears to make more music.
The 75-year-old pop icon teamed up with fellow performing legend Britney, 40, to release a single titled ‘Hold Me Closer’ early this year in what became her first release since 2016 and hopes that their duet will allow her to find the “courage” to release more records, according to his husband David Furnish.
David said: “She was quite specific about what she liked, what she wanted, and how she wanted it to sound. And she gave terrific notes. She’s very much in control and embracing her destiny, which is exactly what you want. Elton’s hope is that she will get the courage now to deepen into music more. I think it’s really scary when you’re away from something for a very long time. It’s quite daunting, and so he hopes this is the step and a baby step onto a path that sees her out doing great records again and maybe even performing.”
However, David – who has been married to the ‘Candle in the Wind’ singer since 2014 and has sons Zahary, 11, and nine-year-old Elijah with him – added that they have not had the chance to celebrate with Britney since ‘Hold Me Closer’ became her first Top 10 in over a decade but is “looking forward” to having a get together with the ‘Oops!… I Did it Again’ hitmaker.
He told ETOnline: “We haven’t been able to celebrate with Britney ’cause she’s been in America and we haven’t come to that side of America yet, but when we get to the West Coast we’re really looking forward to getting together.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has revealed track seven on ‘Midnights’ is called ‘Question…?’.
The pop megastar is preparing to release her new album in October and she’s been playing an online lottery game with fans to announce the tracklist with the singer videoing herself picking numbered ping pong balls that correspond to a track on the LP.
And in her latest instalment of ‘Midnights Mayhem With Me’, she said down the phone: “Track seven is called ‘Question…?'”
Last week, the 32-year-old musician revealed she has written her first ever song with a swear word in the title.
On Thursday (22.09.22), she chose number eight and revealed the title is ‘Vigilante S**t’.
It’s the first time Taylor has used a curse word in one of her song titles, although she has previously used profanities in her lyrics.
Taylor previously described the album as a collection of songs based on 13 sleepless nights over the last few years, during which she got up to jot down lyrics.
Announcing the new project, she wrote in a statement posted online: “This is a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. The floors we pace and the demons we face. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching – hoping that just maybe, when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves.”
Taylor plans to continue announcing the track titles in her ‘Midnights Mayhem With Me’ series on TikTok.
She debuted the series on September 20, and confirmed the 13th track is ‘Mastermind’.
There are 13 tracks for each sleepless night, though a Target-exclusive edition comes with three bonus tracks.
‘Midnights’ is due for release on October 21.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kid Cudi was “tired of making albums”.
The 38-year-old star – who is preparing to release his eighth studio effort – has admitted he needed to make something unlike anything else out there to consider doing another record after 2020’s ‘Man on the Moon III: The Chosen’, which is why his upcoming offering, ‘Entergalactic’, took the form of an animated musical.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, the rapper explained: “I was tired of making albums. I was bored of it.
“I was bored of having an album, dropping two music videos, and then that’s it. I was tired of the same old thing. And I was like if I’m going to do another album, it has to be exciting. It has to be something different that nobody’s ever done before. And that’s when I came up with the idea to try to do this musical told through animation. And it just made so much sense from that point on.”
The Netflix animated series of the same name will be released alongside the LP, which he has executive produced, stars in, and wrote.
Cudi further explained how he originally wanted it to be an anthology series, and still hasn’t ruled it out.
He continued: “And at first ‘Entergalactic’ was supposed to be an anthology series. It was supposed to be one episode that was animated. So what I did was I just took the one animated episode and stretched it out into a full story. I don’t know, maybe my anthology idea will come to life one day. It’s still a really good idea.”
The ‘Day ‘n’ Nite’ hitmaker went on to share how making the album – which is released Friday (30.09.22) – made him realise he’s “willing and ready to be loved and give love.”
He said: “’Entergalactic’ gave me a new understanding of love and what I wanted.
“And I was a more powerful being when I went into ‘Man on the Moon III’ because of it. And you grow between each album. With every album, you become better in some sense. I learned a lot about myself with every album and I think this album was when I truly realised that I was willing and ready to be loved and give love and be there and be present. I think that that’s where I was at when I made this album. In my personal life, I was finally in that place where it’s like, I’m not young anymore and I have different things I want. And I got a chance to talk from a more mature place about love.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Melanie C says there are no Spice Girls shows booked to mark the 25th anniversary of their ‘Spiceworld’ album.
With the milestone for their 1997 LP fast approaching in November, the iconic girl group – also comprising Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham – have been teasing fans with a “Spiceworld25” graphic, appearing to hint at an album release.
Despite being eager to play some more shows with her bandmates after their 2019 reunion tour – sans Victoria – Sporty Spice has admitted “nothing is arranged yet”.
Speaking on ‘The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show’ on BBC Radio 2 on Thursday morning (22.09.22), she said: “I wish I could say there were shows coming. But I can’t, sadly. We do want to do shows, they’re just not arranged yet.
“We’re constantly talking trying to work it out and make it work for everybody. But that yeah, that’s my number one wish.”
Melanie has been dropping regular hints that she would love for the ‘Viva Forever’ hitmakers to play Glastonbury, and she quipped she would go as far to “pick up litter” on site just to return to the world-famous festival after making her debut DJing and performing a duet of ‘Spice Up Your Life’ with Blossoms at Worthy Farm in June.
Meanwhile, Melanie just revealed she has started work on her ninth solo album.
The star has been preoccupied with the writing and promoting of her memoir ‘Who I Am’, and can’t wait to get back to work on the follow-up to her 2020 self-titled LP.
Speaking to the October 2022 issue of Retro Pop magazine, she said: “It’s had to take a bit of a backseat because writing and promoting the book has been a lot more work than I anticipated. But I’ve done some sessions, there are some new songs and I’ve begun the process for the next album. Back in the day there was this cycle of writing, recording, promoting, touring. Technology has changed so much that now it feels like you can do everything at the same time. And music is my passion. Doing a book has been fun but if it keeps me away from music for too long I’m gonna get a bit bitter about it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Matty Healy doesn’t want The 1975 to be as big as the Foo Fighters.
The ‘I’m In Love With You’ singer admits the band have no commercial ambitions and would much rather be a “small emo band” than one of the world’s biggest groups.
Asked if he wants to top the charts, Matty said: “If I started caring about that now it would f****** stink. I said this ages ago, everyone wants us to become a huge rock band and we want to become a small emo band. If we become Burial, I’m way happier with that than f****** Foo Fighters, do you know what I mean? I love the Foo Fighters, but I couldn’t do that. It’s funny, there’s something about me that is very poppy and the stuff that comes out is poppy, but the references never are.”
The 33-year-old star – who recently revealed the band decided to do their own tour instead of accepting a huge paycheque to support global megastar Ed Sheeran – admitted he and his bandmates are “not concerned about growing old as a band and continuing to put out records.”
He said: “I’ve been offered all the wrong things for the right money. I’ve never taken [those offers], and it’s not that I’m proud of myself, but that part of me has been tested. I’m not particularly concerned about growing old as a band and continuing to put out records, because we’re not remotely commercially minded. Which inherently keeps us, I don’t want to say credible … We’re just four nerds who are obsessed with alternative music and pop culture, it’s no deeper than that. I’m not worried about us being like, ‘Oh s***, we need do a f****** remix with Marshmello.’”
And so when the ‘Chocolate’ hitmakers won their first BRIT Award in 2017 for Best British Group, it was hard for Matty to “really grasp it”.
He explained in an interview with Music Week: “If I won a f****** BRIT now I’d be like, ‘Oi, oi!! You f****** [what]!’ But I was this fever dreamy, suspicious… I couldn’t really grasp it. We became this new thing and people started using crazy words like ‘Radiohead’ and that’s where ‘Notes…’ came from. I was like, ‘Fuuu** this, I don’t know how to react, I don’t know what to do.’”
The ‘Somebody Else’ band won the same prize at the 2019 ceremony, and also scooped British Album of the Year for ‘A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships’.
The 1975 release their new album ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Language’ on October 14.

OHMYGOSSIP — B’Witched are joining Blue on their ‘Heart and Soul’ tour in December.
The ‘C’est La Vie’ hitmakers – comprising twins Edele and Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinead O’Carroll – are thrilled to be joining the reunited boy band on their jaunt in support of their comeback album of the same name.
And they’ve also teased a new song and more “surprises” are on the way.
The Irish four-piece said: “We are so excited to announce that we will be joining Blue on their Heart and Soul arena tour in December 2022. We have been wanting to tour together for some time now after nicknaming ourselves Bluwitched several years ago and are thrilled it is finally happening.
“We’ve known the guys for so long and have always loved their energy and their approach, so we know this is going to be a mega show. We will be bringing our hits of course but we have a new single and expect some surprises from us too! We want to put on an amazing show and can’t wait to see all the fans and some new faces too. What better way to end the year!”
The ‘One Love’ hitmakers commented: “We are really excited to be teaming up with the girls from B*Witched on our UK tour. We had great fun touring Australia and New Zealand with the girls a few years ago and we are looking forward to round two!”
The two acts toured together for ‘The Big Reunion’ shows in 2013, along with Five, 911, Atomic Kitten, Honeyz, and Liberty X.
Megan McKenna – who is best known for appearing on ‘The Only Way is Essex’ – is also opening for the ‘Guilty’ hitmakers.
Blue – comprising Duncan James, Simon Webbe, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan – release their first album in seven years on October 28.

OHMYGOSSIP — Bad Bunny and Yeah Yeah Yeahs are on the official ‘FIFA 23’ soundtrack.
EA Sports has confirmed the soundtrack for this year’s game, with 57 new songs including the likes of MILKBLOOD, FKA Twigs, Sampa the Great and more.
Raphaella Lima – Global Music Marketing Director at EA – said: “This year’s soundtrack demonstrates the breadth of the world’s love for the game, capturing sounds from all sides of the globe.
“We wanted to emphasize the importance of our global football community through music and we’re excited to partner with this incredible group of artists to provide the songs and anthems for the most expansive FIFA ever.”
Rising stars Ibeyi, Pheelz, Baby Tate and more are also getting spotlighted, while the ‘Volta Football’ soundtrack will include tunes by the likes of Nas, Quevedo, Remi Wolf, Denzel Curry and more.
In a press release, EA teased: “The carefully curated mixture of hip hop, alternative, electronic dance and pop music transports players directly into the game of street football.”
Music also plays a deeper role in the game, with artists such as Jack Harlow, ROSALIA, Pheelz and Central Cee all designing their own FIFA Ultimate Team kits.
These customised kits – which are “designed to personify each artists’ personality – will be available for players to unluck through certain objectives from September 27, when early access for the game mode launches.
The ‘FIFA 23’ soundtrack is available to stream on Spotify, while EA has teased “exciting updates to the soundtrack later this fall”.
‘FIFA 23’ will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30.

OHMYGOSSIP — David Bowie has been honoured with a stone on the Music Walk of Fame.
The late superstar – who died back in 2016 just two days after his 69th birthday following a battle with liver cancer – was given the spot on the iconic tourist attraction on Camden High Street on Thursday (22.09.22) on the eve of the release of new documentary film ‘Moonage Daydream’ , which showcases previously unreleased footage from his career as fans gathered for the ceremony to watch former collaborator Woody Woodmansey unveil the stone.
Lee Bennett, Founder of The Music Walk of Fame said: “David Bowie is a global influence, one of the ultimate influencers and sooner or later, we had to have him on The Music Walk Of Fame. Our intention is for this to be the highest honour a music figure can receive in the UK and beyond, the unveiling of David’s stone ensures that legacy. We have huge plans for the future, but for now, let’s celebrate one of the greats of music.”
`The ‘Life on Mars’ hitmaker joins a string of other music legends on the Music Walk of Fame, including the likes of The Who, Soul2Soul, Madness and Amy Winehouse and was honoured with a tribute peformance at the event by his former guitarist Kevin Armstrong.
He told the crowds: “Hello Camden Town, it’s great to see the fans here!” before performing a stripped back acoustic version of David’s 1977 classic ‘Heroes’, before children from local Haverstock School choir also gave a performance of 1969 hit ‘Starman.’
The documentary film charting the ‘Space Oddity’ singer – who would have turned 75 in 2022 – will be released in UK cinemas on Friday 23 September.

OHMYGOSSIP — Stormzy has dropped his new single ‘Mel Made Me Do It’ along with a star-studded video featuring cameos from Usain Bolt and LouisTheroux.
The rap superstar has made his big return to music almost three years after his last solo effort and it features a moving monologue written by Wretch 32 and voiced by actress Michaela Coel as well as a verse by Stylo G and it has been released alongside an 11-minute music video which features some famous faces.
Olympic hero Usain Bolt features in the promo alongside documentary-maker LouisTheroux as well as Dave, Headie One, Little Simz and Malorie Blackman. There are 35 cameos all together across the 11-minute video.
The monologue gives nods to influential Black “giants” including football legend Ian Wright, with Coel heard saying: “Today, we speak about foundation. Many great Black influential giants have touched people, from soul to soul, throughout many generations.

It’s believed the single is the first offering from Stormzy’s long-awaited third album, which he previously announced would land by the end of 2022.
When he kicked off his UK and Ireland tour back in March, Stormzy thrilled fans by sharing footage which appeared to show him recording new music and adding a message declaring a new album is on the way.
The message which flashed up at the gigs declared: “Album 3. Coming 2022.”
No more details about the record have been released.
