OHMYGOSSIP — Shakira is in shock over the success of her new single.
The 45-year-old singer collaborated with Bizarrap on ‘Shakira Bzrp Music Sessions 53’, which takes aim at her ex Gerard Piqué, 35, and his new partner, Clara Chia Marti, 23, and Shakira admitted she is surprised by its worldwide success.
She wrote on Instagram: “What for me was a catharsis and a relief, I never thought I would get straight to number one in the world at 45 years old and in Spanish.
“I want to embrace the millions of women who stand up to the ones who make us feel insignificant.
“Women who stand up for what they feel and think, and raise their hand when they disagree, while others raise eyebrows.
“They are my inspiration
“And this achievement is not mine but everyone else’s.
“We gotta get up 70 times 7.
“Not as society tells us, but in the way we can think of, which serves us to get ahead for our children, our parents and for those who need us and hope in us.”
Shakira and Gerard – who have sons Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven, together – announced their split in June after 11 years together.
Sharkira’s scathing song, features lyrics including: “It’s a necessary goodbye. What used to be incredible became routine.
“Your lips don’t taste of anything to me. Now it’s the complete opposite.
“You left me because of your narcissism. You forgot what you used to be.
“Distant with your attitude, and that filled me with worry. You didn’t give even half. I know I gave more than you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gene Simmons says KISS have an “awful lot of material” for many more ‘Off The Soundboard’ releases.
The glam metal group launched the bootleg live series with the recording of their Tokyo 2001 concert at the Tokyo Dome last year.
They followed that with ‘Des Moines 1977’, ‘Donington 1996’, and ‘Virginia Beach 2004’, and fans can expect many more live albums to be released in multiple formats.
Asked by Vintage Guitar Magazine if more instalments are on the cards, Gene replied: “Yeah. We have a large, temperature-controlled vault. There’s an awful lot of of material in there.
“It’s always just about having some downtime to go in there and say, ‘Let’s see what we’ve got.'”
Last week, the official KISS Instagram account also asked which tours fans would like to see next.
The post read: “KISS – Off The Soundboard is our official live bootleg series. Des Moines 1977, Donington 1996, Tokyo 2001, and Virginia Beach 2004 were the first 4 releases. What tours do you want released next, #KISSARMY?”
The ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ band – also comprising Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer – will bow out of touring after completing their ‘End of the Road’ farewell tour this year.
Co-frontman and bassist Gene, 73, recently insisted KISS will “continue” beyond touring.
The ‘Detroit Rock City’ hitmaker suggested this isn’t the last time fans will see them in their black makeup.
He said: “KISS the touring band will stop. But the touring band. KISS will continue in other ways. I have no problems with four deserving 20-year-olds sticking the makeup back on and hiding their identity.”
KISS first announced their retirement way back in 2000, and with 2023 set to mark the end of their touring career, it’s the longest farewell in musical history.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Adams is releasing a double album of covers from Oasis’ seminal 1995 LP ‘(What’s The Story?) Morning Glory’.
The 48-year-old musician famously put his own spin on the Britpop legends’ smash hit ‘Wonderwall’ in 2003, and now he’s started sharing his renditions from the album, and teased yet another version of ‘Wonderwall’.
He posted on Instagram: “This is a sneak of my new album, What’s The Story, Morning Glory which is just me exploring all those songs in my own way (yeah there’s gonna be another Wonderwall cover ).
“I love that song and this album so much.”
What’s more, fans can expect the B-sides too, including fan-favourites ‘Talk Tonight’ and ‘Acquiesce’.
He elaborated: “It is just me exploring all those songs in my own way.
“Music is love and to me it’s this resonate meditation, and songs are like beautiful frames of beautiful movies lost in time, completely different in colour and tone to all who find them.”
He’s already shared the title track and ‘Some Might Say’, ‘Cast No Shadow’, ‘She’s Electric’, and ‘Champagne Supernova’ with his followers.
In 2015, Ryan put out a cover of Taylor Swift’s entire ‘1989’ album.
And the pop megastar fan-girled at the time, sharing how his music “helped shape my songwriting”.
She tweeted: “Cool I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again and I’m going to celebrate today every year as a holiday. I’M CALM … Ryan’s music helped shape my songwriting. This is surreal and dreamlike. Countdown to #RyanAdams1989 @TheRyanAdams (sic).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gaz Coombes says the praise his first solo album received was a “really beautiful experience”.
The Supergrass frontman “really let loose” when it came to recording his 2015 LP ‘Matador’ but he wasn’t thinking about critical acclaim at the time.
He told The Big Issue magazine: “My solo album ‘Matador’ was a really beautiful moment for me. It was the first time I really let loose in the studio, instinctively writing and recording. And it worked.
“I was so excited to be nominated for the Mercury Prize. I was just making this mad album and then suddenly these reviews came in and it took on its own energy.
“It was a really beautiful experience to remind myself that, more than 25 years after I started, there are always possibilities ahead.”
The ‘Alright’ hitmaker has enjoyed a “good journey” throughout his decades in music but never actually had a long-term plan in mind for his career.
He said: “I’ve always been quite in the moment with things. When I was 16, I never remember thinking about what I’d be doing 30 years later.
“But I would’ve loved to have known that things would still be going great – and that I had kids and the kids were good. It’s been a good journey.”
And the 46-year-old rocker has learned a lot from the musicians he’s learned along the way.
He added: “My younger self would be excited about having a long career with his mates, playing around the world. We met so many people in the industry that I’ve learned so much from.
“The idea of playing on stage with musicians like Nile Rodgers or Foo Fighters would have blown my tiny little mind.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards is in advanced talks with Columbia Records.
The Little Mix singer has been working on solo material since the group went on hiatus and fans are getting closer to being able to hearing the songs because the blonde beauty is close to signing a record deal with the label, which is also home to Harry Styles and Beyonce.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Perrie is super-talented and label execs think she could be a global star.
“They are very keen to ink a deal soon and talks have been ongoing.
“Perrie is bursting with ideas for solo material.”
The ‘Shout Out to my Ex’ hitmaker recently admitted she has been having “so much fun” in the recording studio working on her solo tracks.
She said: “It’s all going really well.
“I’m just having so much fun experimenting with different sounds. It’s really good.
“I’m so lucky, I’m working with such amazing people.
“I’m really grateful. I want to make music that I love.”
Last summer, songwriter Kamille – who worked with Little Mix and has been in the studio with Perrie -teased the 29-year-old singer’s material will “blow everyone’s minds”.
She added: “Perrie will get in the booth and she’ll be so worried and insecure. Even when I was with her the other week with Steve Mac, she got into the booth and was like ‘I don’t know if I can do it.’
“I looked at her and I was like ‘Are you actually serious? Your voice is one of the best voices I’ve ever heard, hands down.’ She’s incredible. She doesn’t even know how good she is, and that’s one of the most beautiful things about Perrie; she’s so humble. It’s been so exciting to be making music with her. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it all done.
“As you know, there’s so much more to come from her.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sky Ferreira claims her career has “stalled” because she has been branded “difficult”.
The 30-year-old singer hasn’t released an album since ‘Night Time, My Time’ in 2013, though she has been teasing the follow-up,’Masochism’, for several years, but all that has materialised from her has been 2019 single ‘Downhill Lullaby’ and last year’s ‘Don’t Forget’.
And now, Sky has shared a clip of a song, which dated back to 2019, and claimed she’s “frustrated” about her career seemingly being on hold indefinitely.
She wrote alongside the clip: “I WANT TO PUT THIS OUT.”
She then added on her Instagram Story: “I TRIED TO PUT THIS SONG OUT FOREVER AGO. This is not my fault + it’s not a conspiracy or whatever.
“I am not a hysterical/lying/lazy lunatic. I can pull up performances from 2014 of unreleased singles too. This is beyond f***** up. I am so frustrated + over it (sic)”.
Sky then claimed she has had no choice but to be “difficult”, even though it hasn’t been received well.
She wrote: “Being ‘difficult’ or ‘high strung’ doesn’t give people the right to damage + stall my career. I am in a DIFFICULT situation + I have to be ‘difficult’ to get through it.
“I have to protect my work + myself somehow? A lot of it is not being allowed to say or do anything I want/need without it being dismissed. The thing I actively tried to avoid happens + it somehow gets reversed.”
The ‘Everything is Embarrassing’ singer was just 18 when she released her first singles and she previously said she felt “trapped” as a young artist because so many people had ideas about her image.
She said: “In the music industry, everyone’s trying to mould you. They have an idea of what you should be.
“People get greedy. When I was younger, I got cornered in situations where it was like, ‘You have to do this,’ and I didn’t know better.
“It was just different back then… The internet was there, but it wasn’t this thing that people had figured out.
“I used it to my advantage – that really helped me get my stuff out. But I’ve been shelved so many times.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Gabrielle Aplin will never stop playing her cover of ‘The Power Of Love’ for fans.
The singer-songwriter shot to fame after her John Lewis television commercial cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s 80s classic topped the charts in the UK, and despite getting “bored” of performing the song, she would never do her fans a disservice by dropping it from her setlist.
In an interview with Music Week, she said: “There was a time when I was just bored of playing that song because I’d done it so much. But I can’t say that I would have the career I have now if it wasn’t for that [song]. And I do love it, so I just got over myself. Six years ago I went to see Damien Rice at the Palladium and he didn’t play Cannonball. And obviously, that’s his artistic right but I was like, ‘We are all here and you know we want that song!’ So I was like, ‘Do you know what? I’m going to play ‘The Power Of Love’ and I’m going to f****** appreciate it.’”
Gabrielle has just returned with her fourth studio album, ‘Phosphorescent’, and it’s the first time she felt like she had full control as an artist.
She explained: “When I made my first album [2013’s ‘English Rain’] with [producer] Mike Spencer, it’s not that I didn’t know what I was doing, but it was my first time, so all these amazing, mad things were happening and I was just rolling with it. Working with him again this time felt like doing it all again – but as an adult and with experience and hindsight. I feel really excited because I had such an amazing time recording it. It was probably the best experience making any kind of project I’ve ever had, mainly because I was left to be an artist in a really traditional way.”

OHMYGOSSIP — H.E.R. says it’s “so inspiring” to see more women playing the guitar.
The ‘I Can’t Breathe’ hitmaker has just launched her own Fender Blue Marlin Stratocaster – which is named after one of her favourite fish – and she admitted she “barely thought it was possible” to play the instrument herself as a Black woman.
H.E.R. – whose real name is Gabriella Wilson – said: “I think a lot of women, especially young Black women, young Filipino women, don’t really think that these kinds of things are possible and I barely thought it was possible. So it’s insane to know that I’ve done it… It’s inspiring so many women to want to play instruments and want to pick up a guitar and know that they can… (The guitar is) called the Blue Marlin because I grew up going fishing with my dad a lot and I just think it’s one of the coolest looking fish.”
She is the first Black female artist in Fender’s 77-year history to launch a signature guitar.
The Grammy-winning artist was just seven when she first started playing the guitar, inspired by her musician father Kenny Wilson and him playing Prince and Lenny Kravitz records.
She recalled in an interview with Reuters: “I was five years old, six years old when I started playing piano and then I picked up the guitar not long after when I was seven, and he (Kenny) taught me how to play the blues … I started performing when I was like six years old. My first time being on stage was with my dad and his band and I remember my mom at one point kept booking like gigs for me, like there were festivals and things around the neighborhood.”
Speaking about the tribute guitar to her father in conversation with the man himself, H.E.R. said: “I distinctly remember my father teaching me how to play my first blues scale on a Fender mini black-and-white Stratocaster. Filming this interview with him, reflecting on my musical journey, and the development of my second signature Fender guitar has been a surreal ‘pinch me’ moment. I designed my Limited Edition Stratocaster guitar with a colour, shape and sound that is 100 per cent my own so that young women and players from all backgrounds feel inspired to pick up this guitar, tap into their thoughts and create amazing music.”
The Blue Marlin comes in an oceanic colour with an iridescent finish that shifts in the light and has a custom neck engraved with H.E.R. artwork.

OHMYGOSSIP — Self Esteem has hit out at the trolls who fat-shamed her after her debut performance on TV in the US.
The ‘How Can I Help You’ star – who has struggled with disordered eating “her whole life” – performed on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on Monday (09.01.23), and she’s called out the country for being backward in terms of “cultural societal expectations of femininity.”
She began a Twitter rant: “American people are calling me fat on the internet.
“Which is whatever but I really do feel like it’s a time warp here [in the US] in terms of cultural societal expectations of femininity.
“I’ve struggled with disordered eating my whole life and I cba to feel s***e anymore about a body that is currently working perfectly well. (sic)”
The 36-year-old songwriter – whose real name is Rebecca Lucy Taylor – insisted her looks should have no bearing on her talent.
Self Esteem added: “I am no less talented or excellent because I’m heavier than a Hadid etc. I may gain or lose weight but jfc I dream of a day where it isn’t a talking point.
“The thing is, it’s not hard to get really thin. It just makes life something a lot less lovely. My inner wiring certainly sees my reflection as something that needs ‘sorting’ but then I remember the lovely vs less lovely toss up and get on with my day. (sic)”
The Mercury Prize-nominated star previously revealed how when she was in the indie group Slow Club, the “skinnier” she was, the more work they’d get.
She said: “It was a depressing reality that in my old band [Slow Club] the skinnier I was, the more opportunities we’d get.
“With Self Esteem, I have full creative control, and it’s been important to me to celebrate my body: it’s not plus size; it’s not small; it may go up or down a stone. It’s a healthy size 14 and, for some reason, that feels radical.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Chainsmokers have confessed to engaging in threesomes with fans.
The EDM duo – comprising Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart – didn’t hold back about their saucy secrets in a joint interview, admitting to having sex together with fans more than once.
Appearing on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast, Alex said: “It’s been a long time.
“It was also the days when we used to have to share hotel rooms. In Europe, they have the two beds, they don’t even split them apart … so it’s almost by force that we were forced into these scenarios.”
He added how the pair “were like, ‘What the f*** just happened?’”
The pair previously confessed to partying too hard in Las Vegas.
The Chainsmokers feared their 2018 residency in Sin City was turning them into “alcoholics”.
Alex, 37, and Andrew, 33, had been drinking every day because they can’t resist partying after their shows, despite their gruelling schedule that saw them fly between Europe and the US every week.
Alex said at the time: “I am honestly worried I don’t know what’s going on in [my liver], but I just feel like one day it’s going to simultaneously combust one day.
“By the standards of what they teach you in high school we are like alcoholics but we are social drinkers.”
The ‘Closer’ hitmakers ignored the advice from their friend Calvin Harris – who also had a residency on the strip – to just perform their show and leave because they can’t stay away from the lure of the afterparty.
Alex said: “Calvin has showed us the light he’s really in and out.”
Andrew continued: “Yeah, he lands, walks on stage, walks off stage and gets back on the plane.”
Alex admitted: “But we don’t do that, we party.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Iggy Azalea has promised fans new music this summer.
In November, Iggy revealed she had sold her entire master recording and publishing catalogue to Domain Capital for an impressive eight-figure sum, and boasted that she does not need to “work another day in my life”.
However, she still plans to release new music.
When one fan on Twitter asked when they can expect new tunes, she replied: “Music?… summer. Scandalous s***?… Friday.”
The rapper hasn’t released new music since 2021’s ‘The End Of An Era’ LP.
Iggy had announced her hiatus from music following the album’s release to focus on other “creative projects”.
However, in August last year, she confirmed she was returning to the art form.
She tweeted at the time: “If I can’t have peace, neither can you.
“I’m coming back. Cry about it.”
Iggy recently admitted she’s in “an amazing place” in her life.
She explained how she managed to “regrow” her confidence and she’s “smiling bigger than ever now”.
Iggy’s confession was prompted by a complimentary post from a Twitter follower, which read: “Iggy, I’ve been following you since 2014 and I can tell you that you seem to be much happier. I saw your smile yesterday at the show and I was like: she knows she won. Have a nice day mom! [heart emoji] (sic)”
In response, Iggy said: “Thankyou! I’m in an amazing place…
“It takes time to regrow your confidence in yourself
“but I’m smiling bigger than ever now [celebratory emoji] (sic)”
Iggy jokingly added: “I would be a lot happier right now if I had a personal sized pizza in my hands. (sic)”
Iggy previously confessed to feeling “utterly deprived of a personal life” during her early years in the music business.
The Australian star – who has Onyx, three, with ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti – wrote on the micro-blogging platform: “Here’s the thing I think everyone working hard toward a dream should know.
“On the road to ur goal there will be moments u feel insane, utterly deprived of a personal life and like everything’s falling apart.

OHMYGOSSIP — Dr. Dre is close to selling his entire music assets for $200 million (£164 million).
The hip-hop and tech mogul’s master recordings for his 1992 debut album ‘The Chronic’, which he’s reclaiming ownership of from Death Row Entertainment in August, will be acquired by Universal Music Group as part of the multi-million-dollar deal.
The deal with UMG will also include Dre’s share in Kendrick Lamar’s music in Top Dawg Entertainment’s deal with UMG subsidiary Interscope, Billboard reports.
As well as selling to Universal, the CEO of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics is passing his artist royalties from his two first solo albums to Shamrock Capital, along with his producer royalties and songwriting shares of the tracks where he’s not the owner of the publishing, and N.W.A. artist royalties.
Snoop Dogg became the new owner of Death Row Records last year.
The rap legend shot to fame after appearing on Dre’s ‘The Chronic’, released on the legendary record label, and was signed himself and went on to put out his debut album, ‘Doggystyle’, a year later.
Snoop – whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr – acquired the company from MNRK Music Group for an undisclosed sum.
The 51-year-old megastar said at the time: “I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value.
“It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”
Death Row – which was also the home of the likes of the late Tupac Shakur and Nate Dogg – filed for bankruptcy in 2006 and was sold in 2012, after founder Suge Knight faced serious financial and legal issues.
The 57-year-old former music executive is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for a fatal 2015 hit-and-run.
Snoop had previously expressed his desire to own Death Row when he was made executive creative and strategic consultant in 2021.

OHMYGOSSIP — Louise Redknapp is set to release a ‘Greatest Hits’ album to mark 30 years in music.
The former Eternal star is putting out the 30-track collection on June 2, with five brand new songs, plus nine reimagined classics from her time in the girl group and solo tracks, all produced by studio wizard Steve Anderson.
The 48-year-old singer – who goes by her first name only when releasing music – got to work with Janet Jackson’s songwriters Jam and Lewis (Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis) and a bunch of other co-writers on the new tracks.
And she’s also recorded a cover of Janet’s 90s hit ‘Together Again’.
The opening track ‘Super Magic’ was released in November.
Louise previously insisted her new material is meant to be “really empowering”.
She said last year: “At the moment my phone is full of lyrics. The last two or three months, I’ve got a lot of lyrics down.
“Right now everything I write I want it to be positive and want it to be really empowering, like a moving-forward album.”
The ‘2 Faced’ singer – who is hoping to be “gigging a lot” to support her new record – also reflected on her comeback in 2021, which saw some people accuse her of trying to be too sexy in her ‘Stretch’ music video.
She responded: “I did worry people would think the music video was too sexy, I over worry.
“But I loved coming back so strong, no matter what people thought, whether I should have a leotard on or off, the most important part of our life as artists is to say I’m pleased with that decision and ‘Stretch’ was that moment for me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — HARD-Fi are set to headline Stand Up To Cancer at Union Chapel 2023.
The ‘Hard to Beat’ hitmakers – comprising Richard Archer, Steve Kemp, Kai Stephens and Ross Phillips – reunited last year for their first live shows in eight years, and fans will get the chance to see them in the intimate setting in London on February 6, while also raising cash towards Cancer Research UK and Channel 4’s fundraising campaign.
Frontman Richard said in a statement: “Like so many people out there cancer has impacted our lives so much, we’ve lost dearly loved family members and friends to this shit disease. So we’re very happy to be involved with this years event, hopefully we can make a tiny contribution to having cancer f*ck off once and for all – and do that whilst having a great night out.”
Support acts come in the form of The Big Pink, Monster Florence, Tom A. Smith and néomí.

The Stand Up To Cancer gigs began in 2016, and have seen performances by the likes of Lewis Capaldi, White Lies, Maisie Peters, Laura Mvula, Kodaline, and James Morrison over the years.
HARD-Fi formed in 2003 and had hits with ‘Hard to Beat’, ‘Living for the Weekend’ and ‘Cash Machine’.
Their 2005 debut album, ‘Stars Of CCTV’, was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
The record did not reach No.1 on the UK Albums Chart until six months later, in January 2006.
The band’s second album, ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’, shot straight to No. 1 in the first week of its release.

OHMYGOSSIP — NOFX have confirmed their farewell tour dates and insisted we are “done done”.
The pop punk legends are calling it quits after four decades with one last jaunt across North America and Europe, which will see them perform 40 songs a night, with no two setlists being the same, to celebrate their 40-year career.
In a social media statement, the band said: “Each of these shows is going to be different and special.
“And get this, we have already started practicing. F***, we have a lot of songs to relearn.”
In a press release, frontman Fat Mike insisted: “This is not a final tour like Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath.
“These are the very last shows NOFX will ever be playing. We are gonna play with all our hearts … With all our joy…And then we are done. We are done done.”
The Los Angeles group – also comprising Eric Melvin, Erik ‘Smelly’ Sandin, and Aaron ‘El Hefe’ Abeyta – will kick off the run with two consecutive nights in Austin, Texas starting on April 22.
An announcement regarding their European dates is on the way.
The group released the ‘Double Album’ LP last month.
The tour dates come after Fat Mike revealed he’s opening the world’s first Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas.
The space in Sin City is set to open its doors on Friday (13.01.23) and already has memorabilia from the likes of Sum 41, Rise Against, Blondie icon Debbie Harry and more.
In a statement outlining his goals for the museum, he told SPIN magazine: “We want people to come from Indonesia and see the flier of their band on the wall.
“You know how proud they would feel? I want anyone in a punk band around the world to have that opportunity.”
With that in mind, Fat Mike has a simple admissions policy for bands hoping to feature in his “Church of punk”.
He added: “If you’re a punk band, you’re f****** in. It’s that simple.”
The institution will also look to document punk’s stories and the way it has had such a profound impact on culture over the past 50 years.
This has resulted in the likes of Nirvana and Foo Fighters star Pat Smear investing, along with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and more.
Vinnie Fiorello – former Less Than Jake drummer and record label founder of both Fueled by Ramen and Paper + Plastick – added: “This is a love letter to punk rock.
“We want to show this common passion amongst so many different people for this form of music.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Styles and Wet Leg lead the BRIT Awards with Mastercard nominations with four each.
The former One Direction singer has been given the nod in the coveted Artist of the Year category alongside Central Cee, George Ezra, Stormzy and Fred again…, and is also shortlisted for Mastercard Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Pop/R+B Act.
Lewis Capaldi is already expecting his track ‘Forget Me’ to lose out on the British Song of the Year honour to Harry.
He quipped: “It’s an honour to be nominated for British Song Of The Year. I very much look forward to seeing Harry Styles accept the award for ‘As It Was’.”
Mranwhile, Wet Leg are also up for Mastercard Album of the Year, and are also in the running for Group of the Year, Best New Artist and Alternative/Rock Act.
The duo – who will perform at the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena on 13 February – said: “Somebody hold our horses while we get to grips with this wild news, being nominated for a BRIT award is too hard to comprehend, we never could have expected for our wee band to achieve this.”
The nominations were revealed in ‘Bring on The BRITs with Mastercard: The 2023 Nominations’, a 30-minute special streamed across the official BRIT digital channels, with host Vick Hope joined by Jack Saunders to run through the 12 categories.
Elsewhere on the shortlists, Beyonce, Burna Boy, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo and Taylor Swift will face off for International Artist of the Year, with the three women also among those nominated for Internatioal Song of the Year.
Cat Burns, Stormzy, Fred Again and The 1975 all got three nominations, while Central Cee, George Ezra, Arctic Monkeys, Nova Twins, Aitch, Dave, Eliza Rose, Beyonce, Lizzo, Taylor , Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith all received two nods each.
As well as Wet Leg, Sam Smith and Kim Petras are also confirmed to perform at the ceremony, which will be hosted by Mo Gilligan.
The winners of the four genre categories – Rock/Alternative Act, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Dance Act, Pop/R+B Act – will be determined by a public vote via TikTok, which will open on 19 January at midday.
