OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift made a young fan’s day when she signed a letter the little girl had written to her.
The 33-year-old pop megastar is currently on the road with her mammoth ‘Eras’ stadium tour and concertgoer Gina Lanzino revealed that her seven-year-old daughter had written a letter to the ‘Love Story’ hitmaker and passed it to an usher in the hopes of getting it to Taylor, but was doubtful that it would be a possibility.
Speaking in a video posted to TikTok, Gina said: “Okay, quick little story time. Me and my daughter went to the ‘Eras’ tour, I got the t-shirt. My daughter is seven years old. So she writes this letter, it says ‘Dear Taylor, I’m your biggest fan. My favorite colour is… what’s yours?’ She drew a little picture and she says, ‘I’m gonna bring this to the show and make sure that Taylor gets this letter. I was kinda like, ‘I don’t really think that’s going to happen, but let’s try.’
“So she brought the letter and as soon as we got into the stadium, there was a guy standing there in a suit, probably just an usher. She says to him, ‘Hey, I have this letter for Taylor. Can you make sure it gets to her?’ He kinda chuckled, and we smiled and he said, ‘I’ll see what I can do, I’ll try really hard.’ And she was happy with that, and I figured that would be the last we would hear of this letter.”
Gina went on to reveal that halfway through the concert, four men in suits who appeared to be part of the tour’s team arrived at their section in the stadium looking for the little girl because Taylor had signed the letter herself and wanted to give it back to Bella.
Gina added: “We were about halfway through the show when some people came to our box and they were asking for Bella. I had actually forgot about the letter by that time, and I said, ‘That’s my daughter, what’s going on?’ And they say, ‘We wanted to give this to you,’ and it was the letter Bella gave to Taylor and she [Taylor] signed it. She [Bella] did write her section number on the back, but I really didn’t ever in a million years think that this was going to get returned to her. They filmed my daughter getting the letter back because they wanted to pass it back to Taylor!
“It was just super awesome that Taylor took the time to do that in her crazy busy night.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Freddie Cowan decided to leave The Vaccines because he wanted more “presence and appreciation” and to enjoy his life more.
The 34-year-old guitarist founded the indie band with lead singer Justin Young, but recently announced he was quitting the ‘If You Wanna’ group because he has “changed a lot” since they started out in 2010.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column, he said: “I have learnt a lot and changed a lot but I know the peace I’m looking for isn’t in selling enough records, playing for big audiences.
“For me, it’s more about presence and appreciation. It was my son’s birthday and my partner, me and him had this perfect moment where I was like, ‘This is what I have been looking for.’ I have been chasing that moment.”
Earlier this month, Freddie – who has just released his solo album ‘Freddie and the Scenarios’ – posted a statement on Instagram announcing that his time in The Vaccines had come to an end.
He said: “It hasn’t been easy to come to this decision, but in my heart I know it’s time to step down from my position in The Vaccines for the foreseeable future.
“We loved and fought and cried and cared deeply for each other. I would say like brothers but actually I feel like it’s often the chosen family that really matter to us in our lives.
“The band will always be my family. We are bonded forever through the experiences we shared.”
Freddie has nothing but love for his former band – also comprised of Arni Arnason, Timothy Lanham and Yoann Intonti – and he hopes that one day he will reunite with The Vaccines.
He said: “I also hope we have another chapter together when the time is right.
“Love and gratitude to everyone in and out of the camp that made my dream a reality. I never thought it was possible to stand on the Reading main stage or have a number one album. It was a wild and fulfilling ride and my life is richer and forever different for having been part of a truly great band.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna has announced a new Nashville show to benefit trans rights organisations.
The ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker will be donating a portion of proceeds from her upcoming concert – which was announced before news of the fatal school shooting in the city this week – at the Bridgestone Arena on December 22.
She said in a statement on Instagram: “The oppression of the LGBTQ+ is not only unacceptable and inhumane; it’s creating an unsafe environment; making America a dangerous place for our most vulnerable citizens, especially trans women of color.
“Also, these so-called laws to protect. our children are unfounded and pathetic. Anyone with half a brain knows not to f*** with a drag queen.
“Bob and I will see you from the stage in Nashville where we will celebrate the beauty that is the Queer community!”
Madonna will be joined by ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ winner Bob the Drag Queen for the stop on her Celebration Tour as a protest to Tennessee’s anti-LGBT+ bills which have seen the state become the first in the US to effectively ban public drag shows, and drag shows for children.
The bill means “male or female impersonators” are now classed as adult cabaret performers.
Those violating the new law may face a misdemeanour criminal charge, while repeat offenders could be charged with a felony.
Under the law, there is also a ban on gender-affirming healthcare including puberty blockers and hormone therapies for transgender minors.
Meanwhile, Madonna’s protest show has been announced alongside seven more United States dates.
Her ‘Celebration Tour’ will now include gigs in Washington DC, Philadelphia, Palm Springs and Sacramento, while she has added a second night in Phoenix as well as a third show in both San Francisco and Las Vegas.

OHMYGOSSIP — Pink admitted it felt like a “miracle” to perform with Kelly Clarkson at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she picked up the Icon Award.
The 43-year-old singer performed her 2012 hit ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ with Kelly on stage at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre on Monday night (27.03.23), and legendary rockers Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo sang her 2001 song ‘Just Like a Pill’.
Pink – whose kids Willow, 11, and Jameson, 6, were in the audience – was later presented with the Icon Award from 40-year-old singer-songwriter Kelly.
She said in her acceptance speech: “It has been said that miracles are often associated with icons.
“Kelly Clarkson singing with me and Pat Benatar singing one of my songs and two of the greatest voices alive being on stage doing what I love with people that I love with all of my heart, and my babies in the audience … this feels like a Christmas miracle.”
Pink also paid tribute to her fans, and said she is “grateful to be alive”.
She said: “I usually do try to joke or be self-deprecating in these moments, but I want to be a better friend to myself tonight, so I would like to try and say something honest.
“Every room I walk into, my heart walks in first. Every lyric that I write is my heart crying, raging hoping, screaming, pleading.
“You have watched me do this, sifting through life’s messiness for almost 25 years. Some of you find what I do annoying, and some of you find it brave, and I just find it necessary.
“Vulnerability means the ability to be wounded. I have decided to make vulnerability my life’s work, and for those of you that have joined me on this adventure, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
“I’m grateful to be alive. I’m grateful I get to do this with my one precious life. Most of all, Willow and Jameson, I’m grateful to be your mama.”
Other big winners on the night included Taylor Swift, who scooped the iHeartRadio Innovator Award, as well as Song of the Year and Best Lyrics for her tune ‘Anti-Hero’; her song ‘Bejeweled’ won TikTok Bop of the Year, and her record ‘Question…?’ won Favourite Use of a Sample, for sampling her own tune ‘Out Of The Woods’.
Upon accepting the Innovator Award prize, Taylor told her fans: “I really want everyone to know, especially young people, that the hundreds or thousands of dumb ideas that I’ve had have led me to my good ideas. You have to give yourself permission to fail.
“I try as hard as I can not to fail cause it’s embarrassing, but I do give myself permission to, and you should too.
“So go easy on yourselves, and make the right choices that feel right for you, and someday someone might think that you’ve been innovative. Thank you so much for this.”
Harry Styles was also a big winner on the night, scooping four prizes, including the coveted Artist of the Year award, while BTS – who won Best Music Video for ‘Yet To Come’ and Best Fan Army for their loyal supporters BTSArmy – Imagine Dragons and Red Hot Chili Peppers won two gongs each.

OHMYGOSSIP — Natasha Bedingfield is reportedly working on new music.
The ‘These Words’ hitmaker – who also had success with the likes of ‘Unwritten’ and ‘I Wanna Have your Babies’ – has seen some of her classic songs go viral on TikTok, and it’s she’s been working with Angelique Clineau on some new material.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Natasha has been hard at work in LA in the hope she will have some songs out this year.
“There is an eye on releasing an album in 2024 but at the moment she is just enjoying the process.
“The music so far is really bright and optimistic. In lockdown she gained a massive following on TikTok and there is so much love for her old songs, so it feels like the right time to return.”
The 41-year-old singer released debut album ‘Unwritten’ in 2004, before dropping ‘N.B.’ three years later and ‘Strip Me’ another three years after that.
Her fourth – and most recent – record ‘Roll With Me’ dropped four years ago, while she will be back on stage at the Mighty Hoopla festival in south London this summer.
Back in 2021, Natasha reflected on the joy she has when she realises she’s written a great song.
She told Insider: “It is exciting when you write a hit, when you just go, ‘Whoa, I couldn’t add anything or take anything away from that’.
“It’s that moment when you lose yourself in it. I think somebody who’s skateboarding and does a flip would feel the same way when they land it.”
And she was delighted to see ‘Unwritten’ be transformed into a dance trend on social media.
She added: “Right now, we’re coming out of a pandemic, and I love that I’m seeing people online doing what the song was intended for — releasing their inhibitions, trying new things, experimenting and having fun.
“I can see the song is still doing what I was hoping it would do.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Black Eyed Peas are headlining Greenwich Summer Sounds this summer.
The ‘I Gotta Feeling’ hitmakers have joined the lineup for the brand new festival coming to the iconic Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich in July.
On July 7, Black Eyes Peas will be headlining 20 years after the release of ‘Where Is The Love?’
They will be supported by producer and performer Ellie Sax.
‘She’s So Lovely’ group Scouting For Girls have also been added to the lineup playing on July 6 with headliner Sir Tom Jones.
Greenwich Summer Sounds kicks off on July 4 with Nile Rodgers and CHIC topping the bill, while ‘Ruby’ group Kaiser Chiefs are headlining on July 8 with support from ‘Same Jeans’ indie rockers The View.
Black Eyed Peas is currently made up of will.i.am, Apl.de.ap and Taboo, while former member Fergie previously admitted she would love to reunite with the group in the future after officially leaving in 2018.
She told SiriusXM: “I’ve always just been the little sis and part of groups and like that and I got to have a moment with ‘The Dutchess’ and such and amazing four albums with The Peas and hopefully more.
“I’ve always been a kind of misfit that didn’t really fit in any particular character perfectly, so it’s just a mishmash, but when you put it all together it really makes sense if you know.
“So I’ve got to have a soul album and do whatever I feel is organic and not try to fit in some mould.”
She added: “I have lived so much and I needed somewhere to put all of my life experiences. I don’t feel like it is fair to go on a Peas record and be like, ‘Let me bust out my journals and make this all about me’.
“I don’t know it’s too selfish for me, so I just needed to let it all out.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jimin has admitted initially he “didn’t have any ambition” to join BTS.
The 27-year-old musician – who recently released his debut solo album ‘Face’ – has chatted to bandmate Suga about his early days as a trainee for Big Hit Music, and how his K-pop dreams changed.
Appearing on Suga’s ‘Suchwita’ talk show, he said: “When I first joined the agency as a trainee I didn’t have any ambition to be on the team, because I didn’t think it was my team.
“But it was because of you [that I changed my mind].”
He added: “I still remember the lights were off, and we were in our beds. I think we woke up because Namjoon was snoring, and you were on the top bunk.
“As you looked down towards me, and you said, ‘You’re a good singer, so I really want you to be on our team.’ That was when my ambition sparked.”
Suga recalled the moment too, and explained he realised Jimin could do more than the agency was letting him at the time.
He said: “I knew what your tone and your voice would sound like when you sang. No one else on the team had that tone, [so] I felt that you could become a singer with a unique voice.
“I already knew, so that’s why I said that. I said, ‘He should be singing, why are you making him rap when he can’t even rap?’ ”
Meanwhile, Jimin also asked Suga why he decided to launch his online talk show, and he admitted he was motivated by the idea of giving his bandmates at a platform for their respective projects.
He explained: “If I’m being honest, when I saw the members planning their solo albums I thought you’d need to go on shows to promote your albums once they were out, and I wanted to do that for you guys.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Lottery Winners sent Boy George 55 tweets before he agreed to appear on their single.
The Culture Club legend has teamed up with the ‘Start Again’ hitmakers on their new single ‘Let Me Down’ – which is taken from their upcoming album ‘Anxiety Replacement Therapy’ – and they were determined to get him involved.
Frontman Thom Rylance said: “I was researching what it is that makes a song a classic.
“I’m intrigued by pop icons and the idea of classic songs, so I was listening to a lot of Boy George. I wrote ‘Let Me Down’ for George without knowing it.
“The song has a light and sunny ‘80s feel, with a lot of the same colours as other Boy George songs.
“When the penny dropped that George should sing it, I couldn’t rest until he agreed. Which I’m sure wasn’t very fun for him.”
Once he finally agreed to listen to the song, he replied: “Darling, I love it!”
The video is seen as a way of paying homage to the legacy of Boy George’s career through equality and paying a way for the next generation of artists.
Thom added: “Filming the video felt like a beautiful fever dream.
“I was in this strange neon world laughing and singing with Boy George. He’s probably the nicest and most interesting person I’ve ever met.”
When it comes to the song itself, Boy George is a big fan, and compared it to one of his timeless tracks.
He quipped: “It’s an earworm! It’s the catchiest song I’ve ever heard… after ‘Karma Chameleon!’ ”
‘Anxiety Replacement Therapy’ – which is being released on April 28 – also features collaborations with Shaun Ryder (‘Money’) and recent touring mate Frank Turner (‘Letter To Myself’).
The band are also set to go on tour next month, kicking things off at the Leadmill in Sheffield on April 4 before bringing things to an end at Grimsby Docks Academy on May 3.
From there, they will kick off a run of festival into the summer.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Hollies have announced a huge UK tour.
The iconic group – who celebrated their 60th anniversary with a live run in 2022 – are entering their seventh decade as a band, and they’re marking the occasion in a big way.
The upcoming tour – which will feature original members Bobby Elliott and Tony Hicks – kicks off on September 16 in Blackburn at King George’s Hall, and will come to an end on November 9 at the London Palladium.
As well as drummer Bobby and lead guitarist Tony, the lineup will also include lead singer Peter Howarth, bass player Ray Stiles, keyboardist Ian Parker and rhythm guitarist Steve Lauri.
Fans will be looking forward to seeing the band playing hits like ‘Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)’, ‘The Air That I Breathe’, ‘He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother’ and ‘Bus Stop’.
The group have spent a total of 263 weeks in the top 40 in the UK, and they have performed continuously since forming in 1962.
Their tracks have also featured in movies and adverts over the years.
In 1995, the Hollies were awarded an Ivor Novello for their outstanding contribution to British music.
In 2010, the group were inducted into the American Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame, recognised their “impact on the evolution, development and perpetuation of Rock and Roll”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Lenny Kravitz is working on an “upbeat” new album.
The 58-year-old ‘Fly Away’ star is planning to hit the road for a 2024 tour and he’s revealing he’s in the final stages of mixing his first new record since 2018’s ‘Raise Vibration’ – with the rocker describing his new music as “upbeat” and insisting he’s wanted to make it since he was a teenager.
In an interview with Variety, he explained: “[This album is the one] I didn’t get to make in my teens – before [1989 debut album ‘Let Love Rule’] came out.
“I was making music at that time under another name, and it didn’t happen. I found myself through [‘Let Love Rule’]. It was really sort of an epiphany album because I ended up using my real name and was like ‘I guess this is what I’m supposed to be doing,’ but this new record celebrates the time before that. It’s the album I never got to do.”
Lenny has been making a number of cameo appearances in movies and TV shows in recent years but he’s currently in the process of reading through scripts as he searches for his next big screen role.
He said: “[I’m] trying to find something that really fits … I make few new movies because I’m normally in the studio or on the road.”
The star added of his career to-date: “I’m just ready to get out there and I’m grateful to still be here. After all the years I have behind me – to still be so vibrant and feel so inspired – is truly a gift.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Girls Aloud are to release new music.
The pop band made up of Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, and the late Sarah Harding – who died of breast cancer at the age of 39 in 2021 – split in 2013 after the final night of their ‘Ten: The Hits Tour’ but Kimberley has now revealed that even though they are not heading back into the recording studio, they have “some fun alternative versions” of classic tracks ready for release in honour of their debut album’s 20th anniversary.
She told the MailOnline: “We’ve got some fun alternative versions of songs lying around and little re-releases just to kind of mark that because, you know, it’s a big deal. 20 years is a long time and the love that we still feel for ‘Sound Of The Underground’ and some of the songs from the first album are still huge. So it still feels like something to celebrate, but in a kind of sort of discreet way, I guess.”
However, West End star Kimberley went on to admit that ‘The Promise’ hitmakers – who initially found fame as the winners of ‘Popstars: The Rivals’ in 2002 and went on to release five studio albums together – are not actively doing anything together at the moment but explained that some of the re-releases have been “quite fun” to see.
She added: “We’re not really doing anything together as a group for obvious reasons. I think there’s already been one re-release of ‘Sound Of The Underground’ with different girls singing different lyrics, which is quite fun. I mean, if you’re a fan, it’s fun. I’m not sure how much fun it is if you’re not really into Girls Aloud. But yeah, just things like that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason has backed his former bandmate Roger Waters’ decision to re-record their seminal album ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ without the other band members.
Earlier this year, bassist-and-singer Roger revealed that he was creating his own new version of the iconic 1973 LP – lauded as one of the greatest records of all-time – to mark its 50th anniversary this March.
Roger also took aim at guitarist David Gilmour and late keyboard player Richard Wright in an interview, rubbishing their contributions to the psychedelic rockers’ success.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph newspaper, Roger said: “They can’t write songs, they’ve nothing to say. They are not artists! They have no ideas, not a single one between them. They never have had, and that drives them crazy.”
Drummer Nick has revealed that he knew about Roger’s 50th anniversary project and was even sent a copy to listen to.
Rather than be angry that he is seemingly turning his back on their masterpiece, Nick thinks Roger’s re-imaginings are “brilliant” and is happy he is doing it.
Speaking at a playback of ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ in Dolby Atmos Immersive Audio at the Odeon Luxe in London, Nick said: “I heard the rumour that Roger was working on his own version of it. There was this suggestion that this was going to be a spoiler and Roger was going to go head-to-head with the original version and so on.
“He actually sent me a copy of what he was working on and I write to him and said, ‘Annoyingly, it’s absolutely brilliant!’ It was and is. It’s not anything that would be a spoiler for the original at all, it’s an interesting add-on to the thing.”
Nick doesn’t think music should be untouchable and thinks it is great when songs are reinterpreted or changed because it means they are still evolving and new things are being found in them.
The 79-year-old musician – who performs early Pink Floyd tracks with his band Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, which features Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp – said: “One of the things I like about any sort of existing piece of music is to develop it or find some extra quality in it.
“I just like this idea of developing music rather than trying to retain it exactly as it was.”
The remastered deluxe box set of ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ is out now with fans able to get their hands on the CD and first-ever vinyl issue of ‘The Dark Side of the Moon – Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974’, and the book ‘Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of the Moon: 50th Anniversary’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson no longer drinks before going on stage because he doesn’t want to disappoint his fans.
The ‘I Predict A Riot’ singer – who was previously a coach on ‘The Voice UK’ – was accused of being drunk on stage last November by fans at the band’s concert at The O2 in London.
In the aftermath of the show, Ricky issues an apology in a statement that read: “I don’t want to make any lame excuses, I’ve met some challenges in this life I’ve led, and stayed on top of them with the support I’ve always had around me.
“The truth is I made a mistake on Saturday night at The O2, and relied on old drinking habits, it’s a mistake that upset and disappointed many of you, and some of those closest to me.”
Ricky, 45, has now put that episode behind him and switched from booze to healthy seaweed supplements instead.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, he said: “I don’t drink before going on stage because I don’t want to let anyone down. If we’d come up in the ’90s I’d be on a yacht or dead. But instead it’s seaweed supplements.”
Next May will officially mark the 20th anniversary of Kaiser Chiefs first single ‘Oh My God’ – from debut album ‘Employment’ – and the group will celebrate the date, even though Ricky is not a fan of band’s living in the past.
He said: “I always thought I wouldn’t want to do that, but yeah we will mark it if that’s what people want.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Kinks used to regularly fight before stepping on stage.
Brothers Ray and Dave Davies formed the iconic British rock band in 1963 and they became a success all over the world thanks to hits like ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘Waterloo Sunset’, ‘Lola’ and ‘All Day and All of the Night’.
The siblings had a tempestuous relationship and guitarist Dave, 76, admits they would often come to blows before their shows.
Dave is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “I am a very emotional person and Ray is more reticent about his feelings, but he was working it all out all the time.
“We did boxing and boxing was good for training for The Kinks – keep your guard up, a carefully placed right jab. I wish it had been more flower loveliness.”
Singer Ray, 78, echoed his sibling’s comments when he previously spoke about their infamous 1965 gig at the Capital Theatre, in Cardiff, which saw drummer Mick Avory lose his temper and attacked Dave with a cymbal in front of thousands of Welsh fans after Dave kicked over his drum kit.
He told Wales Online: “That could have been the end of The Kinks right there – it really had a tremendous emotional effect on me.
“We were just kids, don’t forget – Dave and Mick were just 17 and 19 back then and forever having a go.
“I just guess that on that evening Mick decided to do something about it, and that meant cutting my brother’s head off!”
Following the incident Dave was rushed to hospital where he received 16 stiches. Avory fled the scene convinced he killed his bandmate.
Ray added: “Yeah, the police wanted to do Mick for attempted murder. News At Ten even interviewed him later on that night from a secret location.
“When they finally caught up with and arrested him, Mick tried to deny it all.
“But the cops turned round and said ‘Mr Avory, we’ve got 5,000 witnesses!'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Arlo Parks’ new album is inspired by My Bloody Valentine.
The 22-year-old singer/songwriter is getting ready to release her second studio LP ‘My Soft Machine’ in May and she has spilled that some of her new songs are influenced by her love of the rock band – whose tracks include ‘You Made Me Realise’, ‘To Here Knows When’ and ‘Soon’ – and her appreciation of guitar music and heavier genres.
Speaking to BBC Radio 6 Music, Arlo said: “One of my favourite bands is My Bloody Valentine, and I bring a few more of those moments into ‘My Soft Machine’. [I like] their sense of absolute chaos, and you feel that your ears are falling off, but then there’s this real delicate quality to the lyrics. They’re really sensual and vulnerable, but alongside this wall of sound.”
Arlo – whose debut album ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams’ won the 2021 Mercury Prize – also revealed that she is a big fan of Fontaines D.C. and Deftones and those influences will also be present on her new record.
She added: “I’m actually a massive fan of Deftones and I listen to a lot of noise music, and music with that kind of energy, and [Fontaine D.C.’s album] ‘Skinty Fia’ really influenced my record.”
‘My Soft Machine’ is released on May 26.

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have announced plans for a UK arena tour.
The rock band will begin their arena tour in Hull on August 30 and it will culminate in Liverpool on December 21.
Tickets for the much-anticipated tour will be available for special pre-sale on Wednesday (29.03.23) for fans who pre-order ‘Council Skies’, the band’s new album, via the official Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds store.
Tickets will also go on general sale on Friday.
The tour announcement followed the recent release of ‘Dead To The World’, the band’s new track that features on their new album.
Noel, 55, has described the record as his “favourite tune on the album”.
The award-winning star explained: “It has this film noir vibe. It’s not like anything else I’ve ever done before.
“It’s very melancholic, but I like that. I’m a Gemini – I’m as up as I am down, and the trick is to meet somewhere in the middle and turn that into music.”
Noel joined forces with Rosie Danvers, a long-time High Flying Birds collaborator, to create the song, and he relished the experience of working with her.
The singer – who shot to fame as part of Oasis in the 90s – said: “Rosie gets what I do. Spending a weekend recording strings in Abbey Road … that’s one of the great privileges in a musician’s life. It sounds majestic.”
The band are also set to perform at various outdoor venues and festivals in the UK in the coming months, starting at PennFest in July and finishing in Sheffield on September 1.
