OHMYGOSSIP — Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has dropped a teaser for her debut solo single.
The 31-year-old pop star has released a snippet of the video for her song on Instagram as she prepares to launch herself as a solo artist but she’s yet to confirm a release date or any details about the title – simply captioning the teaser: “#leighanneiscoming”.
She previously teased the teaser in a voice note shared with fans on Discord, saying: “Hey guys I hope you’re doing good, so I wanted to let you my Discord legions know before anybody else that I’ll be dropping a teaser of my first solo single. You’ll be able to hear it on my Instagram page at 6pm today. And this is just a little thank you for being so supportive and dedicated to this point, I love you guys so much we are just getting started baby!”
It comes after Leigh-Anne flew out to Turkey to shoot the big-budget video. The star and her team, who include video choreographer King O’Holi – who worked with the star on Little Mix’s ‘Sweet Melody’ video – headed to Istanbul to shoot footage for the track, which has been described as an “up tempo pop hit”.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Leigh-Anne’s debut is just around the corner. Her talent is undeniable and so is her work ethic. “She’s locked in rehearsals now to perfect her moves and to make sure the video is everything and more for her fans. “The combination of the high energy dance routines and the dramatic scenery and buildings in Istanbul will make for a truly stunning video.”
It’s been a busy few weeks for the singer as she also managed to fit in a wedding with reports suggesting she recently flew out to Jamaica to tie the knot with soccer star Andre Gray – the father of her 21-month-old twins – in front of their friends and family.
Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne’s Little Mix bandmates, are also set to release new music later this year. However, the girls are keen to avoid any kind of chart war with each other. In 2022, Leigh-Anne revealed she was busily working on new material. The singer promised in a newsletter that she would give fans “as much music as [she] can” when she felt ready. Leigh-Anne – who was working with producer Hit-Boy – said at the time: “I’ve been working really hard on music that’s coming together slowly but surely. I’m so happy with what we’ve made so far but I know there’s much more to do. “I’ve been so lucky to work with some incredible songwriters, producers and creatives so far and I can’t wait for you to hear what we’ve made.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Foo Fighters have seemingly confirmed themselves for a surprise set at Glastonbury.
Frontman Dave Grohl has shared a letter with fans about “churning-up these emotions together” at their shows on their recent tour – which marked their first run without late drummer Taylor Hawkins, who has been replaced by Josh Freese – and on the set times for the world-famous music festival there is a band called The Churnups, a mystery act who are playing the Pyramid Stage at 6.15pm on Friday, June 23, before Royal Blood and headliners Arctic Monkeys, and many believe it’s the ‘Best of You’ hitmakers.
Dave teased in the handwritten note on social media: “Hey,
“It’s been a while…..
“Now that we’ve returned from our first run of shows, I felt compelled to reach out and thank you all for being there for us.”
Dave continued: “Every night, when I see you singing, it makes me sing harder. When I see you screaming, It makes me scream louder. When I see your tears, it brings me to tears. And when I see your joy, it brings me joy. But, I see you … and it feels good to see you, churning-up these emotions together.
“Because we’ve always done this together.

The Churnups’ Twitter account has also been sharing Foo Fighters’ lyrics.
Britpop legends Pulp have denied it’s them as their band name is a synonym for something being churned up.
Drummer Nick Banks tweeted: “Though it’s very tempting to tease you lot again. I know nothing of the ‘Churnups’ band. OK?”
Sir Elton John and Guns N’ Roses are also headlining the music extravaganza at Worthy Farm in Somerset, South West England.

OHMYGOSSIP — Raye is set to be honoured with the Live Nation Best Female Award at Nordoff and Robbins’ annual O2 Silver Clef Awards.
The music therapy charity’s annual bash will return to the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane on June 30, where some of the biggest names in music will be celebrated.
As well as the ‘Escapism.’ hitmaker’s accolade, it has been announced that rockers Nova Twins – comprising Amy Love and Georgia South – will receive the Amazon Music Innovation Award.
Raye said: “I’m excited to receive this incredible award for Best Female! I hope it encourages other artists to be fearless and persevere in their craft. I can’t wait to attend the O2 Silver Clef Awards with my fellow artists and celebrate the fantastic work that Nordoff and Robbins does – using music to empower people across the country.”
Nova Twins said: “We’re honoured to be receiving this innovation award! We have always embraced the parts of ourselves that were different, putting this into our music and we are just so happy that it speaks to people, hopefully encouraging a new generation to chase their own unique sound. This award is for everyone who’s tearing down boundaries and setting their own path. Massive love to Nordoff and Robbins for breaking barriers with their work, connecting people through the power of music.”
Jazz fusion legend Gregory Porter will take home the AEG Presents Best Male Award, and former ‘American Idol’ star Adam Lambert is being honoured with the Raymond Weil International Award. UK hip-hop group N-Dubz have also been chosen for the ASM Global Best Group Award.
It was previously revealed that Stormzy will be honoured with the highest honour, the O2 Silver Clef award, Wet Leg will take home the New Music Award, Biffy Clyro will be crowned Best Live Act, and Ayanna Witter-Johnson is the recipient of the Classical Award.
Neneh Cherry will be honoured with the Outstanding Achievement prize and Level 42’s Mark King will be named an Icon.

OHMYGOSSIP — Slipknot’s Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan has pulled out of the band’s European tour to help his wife “through some health issues”.
The 53-year-old percussionist has announced he is staying at home to be there for his other half when the band embarks on its latest run, which kicks off on June 7 in Austria and includes their Download Festival set on June 11.
In a social media statement, Clown said: “Hello to all of our fans, it’s the clown. I would like to take a moment to tell everyone that I’m back home supporting my wife through some health issues, and I’ll be back on the road as soon as I can.
“We’ve been through this before and as always, we appreciate the love and support. See all of you very soon.
“Thank you.
clown.”
Meanwhile, the band could release the lost album ‘Look Outside Your Window’ this year.
The ‘Psychosocial’ rockers recorded the collection at the same time as 2008’s ‘All Hope Is Gone’, but ideas to blend the two records didn’t quite work out, with the only song from the sessions to be released being bonus track ‘Til We Die’.
However, Clown recently told Upset magazine: “We wouldn’t want Slipknot to hurt ‘Look Outside Your Window’, and we wouldn’t want ‘Look Outside Your Window’ to be a little irritation to Slipknot.
“Why? Because it’s beautiful God art and people deserve it. The good news is that six months from now, April Fool’s Day 2023, we’re off the label.
“There are no plans to immediately release something, and we haven’t talked about it, but I would imagine it’ll probably come very soon afterwards.
“There’s nothing else to do, and it’s ready to go. It’ll be worth the wait.”
Clown hailed the album – which was more experimental than the band’s usual heavy affair – as “an amazing body of work”.
He added: “You will never hear another Corey Taylor like this. The music and the words… it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done in my life.”
Back in 2020, Clown revealed there were plans to drop the record the previous year, but they decided to focus on ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ instead.

OHMYGOSSIP — Caroline Polachek has pulled out of The 1975’s Dublin show due to illness.
The ‘Smoke’ singer has been forced to miss the pop group’s concert at St. Anne’s Park in Ireland on Wednesday (07.06.23) because she is “not in good enough health”.
Sending their well-wishes, the band tweeted: “Our dear friend Caroline Polacheck is unfortunately not in good enough health to join us at our Dublin show today. We wish her all the love in the world and a speedy recovery and we look forward to seeing you all this evening. (sic)”
They also announced that frontman Matty Healy will be supporting his own band, but they didn’t explain what that will entail.
Caroline was last onstage at Primavera Sound 2023 Barcelona on June 3.
The 37-year-old star postponed shows in the UK earlier this year because she was poorly and said she couldn’t “sing properly”, and she still hasn’t disclosed exactly what is wrong with her.
In a statement in February, she said: “Manchester and Bristol I’ve been looking forward to these shows for so long, but am heartbroken to find myself sick and unable to sing properly. So in order to do the music justice for you, these two shows are being rescheduled for May. All tickets stay valid!”
Meanwhile, Matty is said to be “absolutely exhausted” and “ready for a break”, according to his mother.
The 34-year-old singer’s mum Denise Welch thinks people don’t realise just how “gruelling” his life can be.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “Matty is absolutely shattered. He’s on a world tour and as much as it’s hard to go, ‘Oh please feel sorry for my boy’, people don’t realise that it’s gruelling to be the lead singer, the creator, the writer, the producer of a massive show on the scale that Matthew does.
“Then he gets on stage and gets in a plane and flies seven hours then flies 24 hours.
“It’s a wonderful life, but he’s absolutely exhausted and ready for a break.”
The former ‘Waterloo Road’ actress – who also has actor son Louis with ex-husband Tim Healy – is in awe of the ‘Chocolate’ singer’s talent.
She said: “My son is a creative genius and I say that not just because he is my son.
“I’m privy to so much of he work he’s done before he hits the stage, what comes out of his mouth and out of his brain.
“I just think, ‘Sometimes I can’t believe I gave birth to you. Where are you from?’
“Louis and him are so supportive of each other. Their dad is a brilliant actor, so he has come from two very creative people.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Dua Lipa’s ‘Levitating’ copyright infringement case has been dismissed.
The 27-year-old pop star’s 2020 mega-hit was accused of ripping off Artikal Sound System’s 2017 reggae single ‘Live Your Life’, with the singer and her label Warner Records sued.
The band said they believe Dua and her team heard their song and came up with a carbon copy in ‘Levitating’.
However, on Tuesday (06.07.23), US District Judge Sunshine Sykes said that Artikal Sound System had no way of proving that Dua and her team had access to their song, Reuters reports.
They are able to file a new lawsuit should they wish to, with their attorney Stewart Levy stating that they are contemplating their next move.
Furthermore, the judge refused to allow them to move the case from Los Angeles to New York, where another ‘Levitating’ copyright case will be heard by songwriters Sandy Linzer and L. Russell Brown.
The pair have claimed their 1979 song ‘Wiggle And Giggle All Night’ and 1980’s ‘Don Diablo’, which were performed by Cory Daye and Miguel Bosé, respectively, also resemble Dua’s chart hit.
Documents obtained by Billboard last year noted that: “The signature melody is the most listened to and recognisable part of the infringing works and plays a crucial role in their popularity.
“Because video creators frequently truncate the already brief snippets of sound on TikTok, the signature melody often comprises fifty percent or more of these viral videos.”
The duo accused Dua of having “deliberately emulated prior eras”.
Their lawyers added that: “In seeking nostalgic inspiration, defendants copied plaintiffs’ creation without attribution.
“Defendants have levitated away plaintiffs’ intellectual property. Plaintiffs bring suit so that defendants cannot wiggle out of their wilful infringement.”
As well as Dua and Warner, DaBaby, the rapper who featured on a remix of ‘Levitating’, were named in the lawsuit.
Dua previously admitted she never expected ‘Levitating’ – which featured on her chart-topping album ‘Future Nostalgia’ – to become such a big hit.
She confessed: “I can never preempt what song people are going to react to the best but ‘Levitating’ was the first song that helped dictate the rest of the album.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Giles Martin, the music producer son of the late Beatles studio wizard George Martin, insists The Beatles “wouldn’t have made” ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ without The Beach Boys’ ‘Pet Sounds’.
Giles, 53, has just worked his magic on a new mix of the seminal 1966 record – which featured the hit singles ‘God Only Knows’ and ‘Wouldn’t It Be Nice’ – in Dolby Atmos, which is available to stream now.
And he has heaped praise on The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, 80, for producing one of the most iconic and influential albums of all time solo, and insisted John Lennon and co’s 1967 LP wouldn’t sound like it does without taking influence from ‘Pet Sounds’.
Recalling a conversation with his dad, Giles shared with MusicRadar: “I was with my dad on a plane once, and I just suddenly realised how awesome he was. I said to him ‘Dad, what you did with The Beatles was kind of amazing, wasn’t it’ and he looked at me and said: ‘not as amazing as Brian Wilson’. He explained to me that The Beatles always had him, and he had The Beatles. But Brian Wilson didn’t have anyone, and he went and made this record. Without this record, The Beatles wouldn’t have made Sgt Pepper.”
Giles says thanks to Dolby Atmos technology, fans can hear instruments they never heard before on the original mix.
In a statement, he said: “’Pet Sounds’ by The Beach Boys is a game-changing, iconic album that changed the face of popular music.
“It influenced The Beatles to go and make ‘Sgt. Pepper’s’, ‘Sgt. Pepper’s’ then influenced Pink Floyd to go and make ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’. It’s a fascinating record because it’s really the workings of a genius, Brian Wilson, that sort of had boundless enthusiasm for ideas and textures. Moving ‘Pet Sounds’ to Dolby Atmos means those worlds can be fully immersive, you can be surrounded by them, you can hear instruments that you never heard before, that are on the record, but they are now in a space where you can identify them. I kind of like the idea of imagine getting an old vinyl record, like ‘Alice In Wonderland’, and slowly start falling through the hole. That’s what immersive audio should do, you are literally surrounded by the records you love, and ‘Pet Sounds’ is perfect for this. It’s an album of so much colour and texture and imagination and the imagination becomes realised much more in the spatial realm. For me to be asked by The Beach Boys to work on this album was a huge honour, I was surprised and excited to get a chance to work on one of the most iconic albums of all time.”
Giles previously created Dolby Atmos mixes for a series of special Beatles releases, including 2022’s acclaimed ‘Revolver’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Grimes says people shouldn’t call her a singer – because she’s not “good at singing”.
The experimental pop artist says her “main gripe” is people judging her music based on her vocal talent when she’s all about using machines to create unusual sounds.
Speaking to DJ and presenter Jaguar on her ‘UTOPIA Talks’ podcast, she said: “No one thinks I’m good at singing. I’m just like, please don’t call me a singer. Because if people go and think that I do that professionally, then like, it’s just not a good look for me. So that’s my main gripe with it. Not even that it’s sort of like a misunderstanding of what I do, but just that like, I would not want to be evaluated on that metric.”
The mother-of-two – who has two young children, X and Y, with billionaire business magnate Elon Musk – also declared that she is of the belief that art shouldn’t be owned by anyone, not even the creator.
Her comments come after Grimes created her own AI song generator software, Elf.Tech, and asked fans to create songs using the tech as long as she gets 50 per cent of the royalties.
The 35-year-old star – whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher – insists that if artists allow their voices to be used in AI projects, “beautiful things might come from it”.
She said: “Copyright sucks. I don’t think art belongs to anyone.
“Why shouldn’t everyone be able to use your voice or whatever? Like it just seems cool and exciting and then beautiful things might come from it, when people like big artists do these writing camps, they search the world for the best people to come in and write and they spend all this money doing it, and it’s like you could just not spend that money and just give your voice out to the public. And like, you’d be drawing from a much wider pool, you know, like the outcome the net outcomes of great art would be.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lewis Capaldi has cancelled all work commitments until his Glastonbury gig.
The 26-year-old singer pulled out of his headline slot at FM104’s The Gig in the 3Olympia Theatre that was due to take place on Monday (05.06.23) – which has now been postponed – after coming down with a mystery illness over the weekend and shortly after announced that he would be taking time out until the annual Worthy Farm festival later this month for the sake of his “mental and physical” health, meaning he will miss out on performing at shows such as Capital’s Summertime Ball amongst others.
He wrote on Instagram: “Hi everyone, hope you’re well This is a really difficult message, and one that hurts me a lot to have to type, but I’m really sorry to say that I’m going to have to cancel all commitments from now until I play Glastonbury on June 24th.
“It’s been such an incredible time leading into this new album, and seeing all of the support from everyone has been beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. That said, the last few months have been full on both mentally and physically, I haven’t been home properly since Christmas and at the moment I’m struggling to get to grips with it all.
“I need to take a moment to rest and recover, to be at my best and ready for Glastonbury and all of the other incredible shows coming up so that I’m able to continue doing what I love for a long time to come. I need to take these three weeks to be Lewis from Glasgow for a bit, spend some time with my family and friends and do normal life things that are an important part of me feeling better. I hope everyone understands.”
The ‘Before You Go’ hitmaker went on to acknowledge that many of his fans would have spent money on travel or accommodation to see him in the coming weeks and is “extremely sorry for the impact” his absence will cause but remains “grateful” for his fanbase and “cannot wait” to be back on stage.
He added: “I know many of you will have spent money on travel or hotels, which I appreciate more than ever with how difficult things are economically at the moment, so I’m extremely sorry for the impact this will have. The fact you’re willing to come out and spend your time, money and love on these shows is beyond comprehension and I feel incredibly lucky.
I’m getting all the help and support I need from the incredible people around me who I’m so grateful for.
I take none of this for granted and can’t wait to be back doing it again.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Shears has written a “really queer” and “very sweet” new musical.
The former Scissor Sisters frontman – who worked with Sir Elton John on acclaimed show ‘Tammy Faye’ – is dipping his toes back into the world of musical theatre with another West End production which is in its final stages.
He told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “Musicals are so… they’re intense beasts to create. But I do have another musical up my sleeve.
“It’s going to go into its final reading at the end of July… It’s really queer, fun and very sweet.”
Fans have already had a taste of the musical, as Jake revealed one track actually features on his new album ‘Last Man Dancing’.
He added: “One of the songs on the album, ‘Really Big Deal’, I had actually written, it was the last song we wrote for the musical, and I loved it so much that I was like, I have to put this on my record.”
Although ‘Tammy Faye’ wrapped up in December 2022, the ‘Take Your Mama’ hitmaker suggested there are still some big plans afoot.
He teased: “I think ‘Tammy Faye’ is going to go on to have a good life, hopefully, knock on wood.
“It’s going to go in its next iteration. I can’t really say any details. We got a couple of Oliviers for it.”
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old musician is delighted with how well received his new album is, and it feels like a decade of hard work is finally paying off.
He said: “People seem to genuinely love it. The shows have just been really special.
“It feels like I’ve worked the last decade to get back to this spot that I’m in right now. It’s gratifying.
“Solo stuff, it really is like starting all over again. It’s not really been super-glamorous all the time.”

Patrick Stump and co feature on ‘Electric Touch’ (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)’ while the Paramore singer appears on ‘Castles Crumbling’ (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)’.
Taylor told her millions of followers: “Since ‘Speak Now’ was all about my songwriting, I decided to go to the artists who I feel influenced me most powerfully as a lyricist at that time and ask them to sing on the album. They’re so cool and generous for agreeing to support my version of ‘Speak Now’. I recorded this album when I was 32 (and still growing up, now) and can’t wait to unveil it all to you on July 7th.”
The re-record of Taylor’s 2010 LP features six songs from the vault in total.
The ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker has long been a fan of Fall Out Boy and previously shared how her hit ‘Blank Space’ was inspired by the ‘Dance, Dance’ hitmakers.
She told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: “‘Blank Space’ is a song that’s just zingers.
“One after another after another which I definitely learned from listening to Fall Out Boy.”
She also told Rolling Stone: “They [Fall Out Boy] take a phrase and they twist it. ‘Loaded God complex/Cock it and pull it?’ When I heard that, I was like, ‘I’m dreaming.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj is set to release her first album in five years on October 20.
The rap megastar took to Twitter to announce the release date but didn’t give away any further details, such as the title and tracklisting.
She simply tweeted: “10/20/23
“The Album [red bow emoji and CD emoji].”
Last month, Nicki declared that the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Queen’ will be “the best thing to come out of 2023.”
The 40-year-old music star had promised fans that the LP will arrive before the end of the year, while she also teased a tour.
Setting expectations high, she tweeted in May: “Oh yes fractions warned, SFG did what fractions warned. Red Ruby Da Sleeze MOTHERED so hard and is now the standard. NM5 is the best thing that will come out of 2023 and will raise the bar to new and unreachable heights. NM5 tour will be hailed as “genius”. That’s it and that’s all. (sic)”
The ‘Anaconda’ hitmaker is not afraid to shower herself with praise and also tweeted earlier this week: “Imagine being a fashion icon b4 your debut album. Imagine performing with Ye and Jay in Yankee Stadium, no album out, imagine Drake, Eminem, Rihanna, Ye, WillIAm, and Natasha Bedingfield on your FIRST ALBUM. bwahahaha I have to laugh. The ‘Super Freaky Girl’ hitmaker has been teasing her fifth album for a long time now.
In November, she claimed the record was coming “soon”.
Nicki kept coy on any firm details about the LP but she gave a vague timeline for its release.
Asked what projects she had on the horizon, she told i-D Magazine: “The fifth album. I’m not gonna say when it’s gonna come out, but the album will be out soon.”
Nicki also noted that being in ” a good place” leads to her creating “the best music”.
She added: “I’m in a really great place now. I feel like whenever I’m happy, I deliver the best music.

The electronic music-dominated playlist has arrived with 35 global artists from 16 countries.

OHMYGOSSIP — Take That are playing a one-off charity show for War Child at London’s KOKO.
The pop trio – comprising Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – will perform their greatest hits at the north London venue on June 21.
Money raised from tickets will go towards the non-profit’s work with children whose lives have been torn apart by war.
Tickets are on sale at 10am on Friday (09.06.23) from lnk.to/TakeThatLDN.
The ‘Back For Good’ hitmakers will then headline American Express presents BST Hyde Park on July 1, and they were recently revealed to have “big touring” plans in the pipeline for 2024.
Their manager, Chris Dempsey, told Music Week: “Exact dates are still to be locked in, but following the King’s Coronation we have the movie ‘Greatest Days’ coming on June 16 and British Summer Time on July 1.
“New music and the album will follow, in addition to some more catalogue moments. We have big touring plans for 2024 – more on that in the coming months.”
The group recently inked a new deal with EMI Records.
Gary, Mark and Howard are embarking on a new chapter and are poised to release their first album since 2017’s ‘Wonderland’ in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Speaking of the new deal, Take That said: “It’s very clear that Jo, Rebecca and all the team at EMI share our love and passion for music, and our ambition, and we are very excited about working together.”
In a statement, EMI co-presidents Rebecca Allen and Jo Charrington, said: “It feels like such an exciting time for EMI to be collaborating with Take That. The new music is sounding exceptional, and it’s amazing to see how much Gary, Howard and Mark have immersed themselves within the label. We couldn’t be prouder to be working with them, and to see the entire EMI label engaged, energised and ready to go.”
Chris added: “There probably aren’t too many artists 30 years into their career and on their ninth studio album that still have Take That’s energy and ambition.
“And we feel Jo, Becky, Thomas, Lucy [Dann], and the team at EMI can match that. They’ve been brilliant so far. They bring some genuine expertise in areas the band are keen to grow, and crucially they work hand-in-hand with the catalogue teams both at Universal and Sony and with our longtime friend Marc Robinson at Globe/Mercury Studios.”
The band made their live comeback at King Charles’ Coronation Concert earlier this month, where they gave the live debut of their remix of ‘Greatest Day’ with Calum Scott and DJ Robin Schulz.

OHMYGOSSIP — Eric Clapton is set to play two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall as part of a six-date UK and Ireland tour in 2024.
The 78-year-old guitar maestro will kick off the run on May 9 at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, before heading to Liverpool, Birmingham and Dublin, Ireland, and wrapping at the iconic venue in Kensington on May 20 and 21.
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on June 9, and will be available from Ticketmaster (for the Dublin show) or via Bookings Direct (all other shows).
The ‘Layla’ hitmaker first performed at the world-famous concert venue with The Yardbirds in 1964, and he’s since played there more than 200 times, which is more than any other artist.
What’s more, on June 23, fans can get their hands on the expanded live LP ‘The Definitive 24 Nights’ from Clapton’s 24-night residency at RAH in 1991.
Clapton’s most recent concerts there were for the pair of Jeff Beck tribute concerts, alongside rockers such as Sir Rod Stewart, 78, Ronnie Wood, 75, and Johnny Depp, 59, last month.
The ‘Wonderful Tonight’ hitmaker organised the star-studded shows with Beck’s widow Sandra.
Beck, ranked fifth in Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time, won eight Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice – once with The Yardbirds in 1992 and as a solo artist in 2009.
One highlight from the show was Depp inviting ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, 73, and Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, 60, on stage, with the Hollywood actor singing as they strummed to a cover of John Lennon’s 1970 track ‘Isolation’.
Beck passed away on January 10, aged 78, after contracting bacterial meningitis.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sam Smith’s vocal cords are on the mend after the pop star was forced to cancel the rest of their tour.
The ‘Stay With Me’ singer ended their Manchester concert after just four songs on May 25, due to “vocal issues”.
The ‘Unholy’ singer claimed they were forced to cut the gig at the AO Arena short due to not being able to sing after battling a virus a few weeks prior.
And later, Sam pulled their rescheduled shows in Birmingham and Glasgow, as doctors warned them that they could risk causing “permanent damage” to their voice.
Now, the 31-year-old Grammy winner has updated fans with some “positive news” about their vocals.
They shared on Instagram: “Hi everyone. Hope this video finds you well, safe and healthy. I just wanted to send you guys a little video to keep you updated with how it’s been going with my voice.
“I’ve just come back from the doctors today, and it [was] actually really, really positive news. My vocal cords are healing, and after a week of vocal rest, it’s looking good… and it’s looking like I’m gonna be okay for the rest of the shows.”
Apologising again for the cancellations, they added: “I’m still and will always be so sorry to everyone who missed out on the show. These things are completely out of my control… and I’ll be doing everything I can to get back to you guys as soon as I can and when we can.”
A social media statement at the time read: “Due to vocal issues during last night’s Manchester performance, regrettably we will be cancelling the rescheduled Birmingham and Glasgow Sam Smith shows.
“Doctors have advised due to a vocal cord injury, Sam must have complete vocal rest.
“Sam is heartbroken to have had to cancel these shows but they have been told by doctors that if they keep singing, they will do permanent damage to their voice.
“If they take some rest they will be able to perform again.”
Apologising for the abrupt end to their Manchester show, Sam wrote: “I don’t know what to say honestly. I fought off a virus a few weeks ago and since then we have travelled across Europe and had such incredible shows. Today in sound check I felt fine and was so excited to give Manchester an amazing show tonight with a special surprise at the end.
“During my third song, I noticed something wrong with my voice, I prayed it was just my voice waking up for the show but into the fourth song I could feel something was really wrong.
“I came off the stage and have tried everything to get my voice back in gear but it won’t.
“I am honestly heartbroken I couldn’t finish the show tonight for you all.
“I love you all. I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry x.”
Earlier in the day, Sam had promised a special surprise at the end of the show, which was rumoured to be a special appearance from Madonna
They wrote: “Manchester. We’ve got a special surprise for you this evening.
“Unholy won’t be the last song.”
Sam and The Queen of Pop, 64, are releasing the collaboration ‘Vulgar’ on June 9.
