OHMYGOSSIP — Halsey has signed a new deal with Columbia Records.
In April, the ’11 Minutes’ singer’s managers, Anti-Pop’s Jason Aron and Anthony Li, confirmed Halsey – who uses the pronouns she/they – had departed Capitol Records after eight years, however, she also teased new music is on the way.
In a statement issued to Variety, Halsey said at the time: “After eight great years the decision to leave Capitol is bittersweet, but we are excited about exploring a new partnership and sharing new music with fans.”
The label added: “Everyone at Capitol poured their hearts and souls into helping Halsey achieve their dreams and present their music to the world.
“We are incredibly proud of all we accomplished together, and wish Halsey the very best in all their future endeavours.”
And now, the outlet has confirmed the singer is back with the major label she released her hits ‘Closer’ and ‘Without Me’ via.
While no reason for the split from Capitol’s Astralwerks imprint was made clear, the 28-year-old pop star previously got into a dispute with Capitol about their song ‘So Good’, with the label allegedly wanting the track to go viral on TikTok before its release.
In an ironically viral TikTok, the ‘Bad At Love’ singer claimed the label wouldn’t release the tune, “unless they can fake a viral moment on TikTok.”
They had written in the caption: “Basically I have a song that I love that I wanna release ASAP.
“But my record label won’t let me.”
They later shared a clip of the track on the video-sharing app and said: “After a tremendous amount of f*** s***, ‘So Good’ is finally coming out June 9th. Video dropping the next day. And now I can go back to using TikTok for my real plan: Using witchcraft to take over the world.
“Thanks for keeping up with this fiasco.
“Hope you love the song.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Petras admits it was “annoying” having her album leaked, but it only fired her up to “top” that record.
The pop star finally releases her ‘Feed the Beast’ this month, almost a year after she revealed that the original had been leaked online.
‘Unholy’ hitmaker Kim had admitted that becoming the victim of a leak made her feel like quitting music.
She tweeted at the time: “I’m devastated idk how all of this happened and I just wanna quit.”
However, in hindsight, it pushed her to make a record that’s even better.
She told POPSUGAR: “It’s really like three albums combined.
“Someone leaked [my previous album], so that was annoying.
“You gotta go feed the beast and make more music. Do what you do best.’ And that’s exactly what I did.”
Kim added: “I feel like I really took that time — which is time I would’ve never taken — to really top [the album] off and make sure it’s the best it can possibly be.
“And now it really feels like a cohesive album. I’m proud of the message of it, which is just to go for it and do what you’re most scared of.”
Meanwhile, Kim recently admitted she doesn’t think she would be where she is today without Madonna.
The 30-year-old singer made history at this year’s Grammy Awards when she became the first openly trans artist to receive the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance prize for ‘Unholy’ with Sam Smith and she is thrilled the Queen of Pop – who presented the pair with their accolade – has given her support and respect because she has done so much for the LGBTQ+ community.
She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I don’t know how good of a friend I can be to her because I’m just like, ‘Confession: Ray of Light changed my life.’
“Every time I see her, I just talk about her music and how much it means to me, but it’s just been the most incredible thing for me to get respected by Madonna, and for her to even know anything about me is just…
“Madonna, for fighting for LGBTQ+ rights. I don’t think I could be here without Madonna. My mother. I grew up next to a highway in Germany, and my mother believed me that I was a girl, and I wouldn’t be here without her and her support.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Haim have furiously denied claims bandmember Este is just pretending to play her instrument on stage.
The rock group – made up of sisters Este, Danielle and Alana Haim – saw red over a comment posted on Instagram on a video of them performing their track ‘My Song 5’ which sniped: “Is it just me or is that bassist just acting”.
The band responded by commenting: “Lol, I can’t believe this s*** is still happening.”
They then added a longer response on Haim’s Instagram Stories, writing: “I’m so used to seeing this s*** on every f****** video of us playing ever. I’m so over it. Don’t ever say we don’t play our own f****** instruments.”
It comes after the musician revealed they struggled to land a record deal when they first started out because very few people were willing to sign a female rock group.
In an interview with ELLE UK, Alana explained: “No one wanted to sign us. The amount of people who were like, ‘You’re never going to make it. Give up!'”
Danielle added: “People would say to us: ‘You’ll never get a record deal. A girl rock band, unfortunately, is not something you see’. People used to say that s*** all the time. But we had such a crazy focus, plus we’re sisters – we’re like a wolf pack.”
Alana then went on to add: “We’ve done so many things in our career, despite what people in the industry have said. Being told you’ll never sell out a venue, then you do. You’ll never headline a festival, and then we do. It fuels the fire.”
Haim have been on the road with Taylor Swift this year as part of her ‘The Eras’ tour and they have also been playing their own shows which includes a headline performance at the All Points East festival in London in August.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sigur Rós have shared their first album in a decade on streaming platforms.
The Icelandic post-rock band have added ‘The Átta’ to the likes of Spotify and Apple Music today (16.06.23), with physical copies available from September 1.
The group previewed the collection with the single ‘Blóðberg’ earlier this week.
Multi-instrumentalist Georg ‘Goggi’ Hólm said of the atmospheric album: “In a post-pandemic world torn apart by war, economic turmoil, culture wars, and brutally divisive discourse, Átta feels like a balming and unifying bond.
“It’s what the music asked for and spoke for itself.
“This record sounds like a Sigur Rós album, but it’s more introverted than before. It’s very expansive with this sound of strings, but it looks within more than outside.”
It features the London Contemporary Orchestra conducted by Robert Ames.
Kjartan ‘Kjarri’ Sveinsson added: “We wanted to allow ourselves to be a bit dramatic and go far with these arrangements.
“The world needs that right now. It’s hard to describe, but for me everything is always open to interpretation. People can think and feel how they want.”
It marks their first album since 2013’s ‘Kveikur’.
Sigur are also hitting the road for a tour with a 41-piece orchestra.
They will play in Europe and North America with the London Contemporary Orchestra and the Wordless Music Orchestra, respectively.
A statement posted on the band’s website read: “Sigur Ros have announced a limited run of very special dates, performed with a 41-piece orchestra in both Europe and North America. You can expect a new album in June, the first studio album in 10 years.
“Having spent the past few years writing and recording, Sigur Ros will now debut these brand new songs to the world. The tour kicks off in London at Meltdown Festival, where the band will perform with the London Contemporary Orchestra, who also accompany them on their following European tour dates.
“Accompanied by the Wordless Music Orchestra in North America, the band will perform their new material as well as favourites from their extensive catalogue. All orchestral dates will be conducted by Rob Ames.”
The first show will take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall tonight as part of the annual Meltdown Festival. They will then head to countries including France, Holland and Germany before taking the shows to Canada and the US with stops in Toronto, New York City and Boston, and concluding the trek in Los Angeles on August 28.

OHMYGOSSIP — Iron Maiden couldn’t “give a monkey’s” about not being invited to perform at Glastonbury.
Frontman Bruce Dickinson, 64, has insisted it doesn’t bother him that the heavy metal group have never played the world-famous music extravaganza, which has started embracing the genre more in recent years, with the likes of Metallica, Bring Me The Horizon and Motörhead having performed.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph newspaper, he said: “We don’t give a monkey’s because the people that get us are not the people that run the music business establishment, whatever that is, because that is largely run by people that can’t make a living doing anything else.”
Despite being nominated twice, Maiden have never made it to induction at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but Bruce wouldn’t want to while they are still alive.
He said: “I don’t want to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! Because we’re not dead yet!
“Some people feel almost actively threatened by metal. Not by the nature of the music. But by the fact that it doesn’t conform to their worldview of what pop music should be, which is: pop music is disposable, darling. Well: we don’t make disposable pop music.”
The Hall of Fame previously responded to criticism over Maiden not being chosen for induction in 2021.
CEO Greg Harris insisted that despite Bruce and co receiving the nod for the first time and failing to join the likes of Tina Turner, Foo Fighters, and Jay-Z as the 16 artists chosen for the honour, they still regard the rockers as an “impactful, influential band”.
Appearing on WBAB radio station, he said: “There’s no doubt that Iron Maiden are an impactful, influential band, and that’s why they were nominated this year, along with 15 other artists and acts, and when the votes came in, these six were the leaders. So we’re not questioning, are they an important band, are they impactful and influential.
“Of those that have been nominated throughout history, over 80 per cent of them have been eventually inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
“So everybody has their favourites; everybody has different artists that impacted them or impacted other artists. So, if you look at this list, you can make that case for all of these folks, just like people make that case for Iron Maiden.”
The Hall of Fame boss also insisted that rock and roll is a “big tent and everybody fits under it”, even if they don’t play rock ‘n’ roll music.

OHMYGOSSIP — The Pretenders and Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood have released the collaboration ‘I Think About You Daily’.
Chrissie Hynde and co are backed by the composer’s stunning string arrangement on the brooding ballad, for which he also conducted the 12 Ensemble. 
The song is the closing track on ‘Relentless’, The Pretenders’ new studio album, which is now set for release on September 15.
Chrissie, 71, said of working with Radiohead’s lead guitarist: “I met Jonny a couple of times, and we’re obviously big fans of him because he’s done some incredible music over the years. I saw him at the Phantom Thread premiere where the film was running on screen with a live orchestra playing. And we spoke afterward and he expressed an interest in doing something one day. I was thrilled and very surprised. He also came down to see a Valve Bone Woe show we were doing in the basement of a Pizza Express. So when the idea of getting strings on ‘I Think About You Daily’, he was first choice. Legend!”
Jonny, 51, added: “It was a genuine honour to score strings for Chrissie. The arrangement wrote itself because of THAT voice. She’s one of the greatest singers in popular music, and her continuing passion for creation was an inspiring experience from first the email to the last note of the recording.”
The album will be the follow-up to 2020’s ‘Hate for Sale’.
Speaking about the album title, Chrissie said: “I enjoy seeing the various meanings and origins of a word. And I liked the definition: “showing no abatement of intensity”. It’s the life of the artist. You never retire. You become relentless.”
The rock legend has co-written all of the tracks with guitarist James Walbourne for the second time consecutively.
Commenting on their process, she added: “We had developed this method of working remotely and it seemed like we just kept on doing it for this album. This is something that we’ve honed down to an art in the last few years. He always comes up with something I wouldn’t have thought of myself and I love surprises.”
The album features “The Pretenders Collective”, also including Kris Sonne (drums), Chris Hill (double bass), Dave Page (bass) and Carwyn Ellis (keyboards and guitars).
Chrissie previously teased the album last year, but admitted it was taking a while to get released.
That was before they signed a new record deal with Parlophone.
She told her fans on Instagram: “We have a new album coming out, ‘Relentless’.
“For some reason, which I don’t quite understand, it takes ages to get an album out these days—i.e. waiting for vinyl factories. I’m not even sure if we have a record deal. I’ll have to ask my management if I remember.”
Meanwhile, the band are supporting Guns N’ Roses in the UK and Europe, including at American Express presents BST Hyde Park on June 30.

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher insists he’s called estranged brother Noel Gallagher “many times” about reuniting Oasis – despite his sibling suggesting that all it would take is for him to pick up the phone to him or his management.
The legendary Britpop group’s former frontman has given his first interview after Noel, 56, dared Liam, 50, to pick up the phone and call him to pitch his reunion idea.
Speaking to Seattle station 98.9 KPNW, Noel said: “He’s gonna have to call me. He’s gonna have to get somebody to call me because he’s been going on about it for the last 10 f****** years, or whatever it is. He doesn’t want it. And he knows that neither of us are particularly f****** interested in it. I know he doesn’t want it, I’m very comfortable with what I’m doing, I couldn’t give a flying f*** one way or the other. But he keeps going about it, so OK, f****** call us then, let’s see what you’ve got to say, you’ve made up all these imaginary ground rules down the years and told kids, it’s happening, it’s happening now, it’s coming, it’s definitely happening, blah, blah, blah.
“I dare him. I f****** dare you to call me. You won’t call me, because if you do call me and I go, ‘Actually, that’s a good idea. Actually, that might work.’ Then the a*** falls out of his trousers, because then he’s got to be in the same room as me, and we both know how that ends up.
“So call me. Stop tweeting, you’re bigger than that, you’re better than that.”
Liam is adamant that he will get the ‘Live Forever’ group back “on his own terms” after Noel left on “his terms” when he announced his departure from the group after a backstage bust-up between the pair at their final concert in Paris, France, in 2009.
Hosting BBC Radio 2 with Jo Whiley, Liam told the broadcaster: “Our kid has been called many times about getting the band back together, it just so happens that this time he wants it when he’s got an album out.”
He continued: “The way I see it, it ain’t happening. I won’t be calling him and he’ll be calling me. He split the band up on his terms and I’ll be getting it back together, on my terms. I’m a reasonable person, but I’m very good friends with the universe and we have ways of making it happen because it’ll come down to him calling me.”
Liam has accused his arch-nemesis sibling of “throwing” him and their bandmates “under the bus” and claimed everyone in the group could do with the money they’d make from a reunion.
He confessed: “I’ve still got the hump with it because he threw his younger brother under the bus and I’ve still got bills to pay as well and so did everyone else who worked for (Oasis).”
The rock’n’roll star added that it’s not just about getting the ‘Wonderwall’ group back together, as he misses his older sibling and would love for them to have a relationship after more than a decade of estrangement.
He added: “I’m not a**ed about the band, the band will get back together when it gets back together but it’d be lovely for brothers to be talking.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Leigh-Anne has released her debut solo single, ‘Don’t Say Love’.
The former Little Mix star – who has ditched her surname, Pinnock, for her solo career – has given fans the first taste of what to expect from her solo music with the garage-tinged tune.
Leigh-Anne said of the track: “‘Don’t Say Love’ is about no longer seeking external validation and regaining my confidence and sense of self in a world where I often felt misunderstood and unheard. This video is a visual representation of me finding my voice. I’m excited to continue to do so with my first love, music.”
The 31-year-old singer’s bandmates – Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall – have shown their support by sharing the release news to fans on their mailing list.

Leigh-Anne admitted in an interview published this week that she felt “undervalued” in Little Mix.
The pop star shot to fame in the girl group formed on ‘The X Factor’ in 2011, and she chanelled the “frustration, sadness and anger” she felt about being “overlooked and undervalued” with a “predominately white” fanbase and pop world into her first single.
She told Vogue.co.uk: “The pop industry is very white, we did have a predominately white fan base. It took me so long to understand why I was feeling so undervalued. I just blamed myself. My family would be like, ‘Oh, Leigh, you’re getting the same money. It’s fine.’ I just couldn’t accept that.”
One place Leigh-Anne did feel appreciated was Brazil.
She recalled: “Fans were chanting my name – I’ve never had a response like that and we’d been in the group for nine years.”
Her deeply honest upcoming debut studio album is all about the highs and lows in the ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ group, her relationship with footballer husband Andre Gray – with whom she has young twins born in August 2021 – and motherhood.
And Leigh-Anne admits she’s feeling confident as she embarks on a new chapter as a solo artist.
She said: “The first single, ‘Don’t Say Love’ is about wanting to be loved wholeheartedly, [like] the love that I have for myself. If it’s not that, then I don’t want it. That’s a journey, getting there. Within the group and in my career, I really felt like a lot of the time I was overlooked and undervalued. I really wanted to get that emotion across in the video: frustration, sadness, anger. I wanted to get that across in my first single, so I could just leave that girl and that feeling in the past. ‘My Love’ is a celebration of every type of love: owning who I am and stepping into my solo career and this new being, who gained all of her confidence back and knows who the f*** she is.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kasabian have released the new track, ’Algorithms’, about the difference between AI and real humans.
The indie band are back with a standalone tune about how robots aren’t comparable to humans because they cannot experience emotion.
Frontman Serge Pizzorno sings: “They’ll never feel love like us.”
He said of the track: ‘Algorithms’ is a song that explores the idea that robots can’t experience emotion and being in the moment, whereas humans can, and that is the beauty that separates us …for now.”
The poignant song comes amid a rise in music being made by AI generators. Even The Beatles have used AI to extract the late John Lennon’s vocals from a demo for what will mark their “final song”.
The new song follows Kasabian’s acclaimed 2022 album, ‘The Alchemist’s Euphoria’.
The record was their first since singer Tom Meighan’s departure.
The former frontman was let go from the group and sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid work in July 2020, after pleading guilty to assaulting his now-spouse, Vikki Ager, during an incident in April that year.
Serge is now performing frontman duties for the ‘Fire’ hitmakers, who are also made up of Chris Edwards, Ian Matthews, and Tim Carter.
And Serge previously admitted that becoming the lead singer has been “more fun” in terms of being able to visualise the live show.
He said: “I’ve always done it my way. If anything, it’s more fun in terms of being able to visualise the live show.
“When you see someone sing words that have come from them, there’s something magical about that.
“You can really feel the sentiment in what someone is trying to say through a charged performance. That’s when sparks fly.
“This album was just us saying, ‘Let’s see what we can do, let’s see where we can take this’.
“Every album we’ve made has been way different to the one previously and you’ve never really known where we’re going to go next.”
Kasabian have a string of dates this summer, including Cornwall’s Eden Sessions, Sounds Of The City, Y Not Festival and Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival.

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Grennan has released his “grown up” album ‘What Ifs and Maybes’.
The 28-year-old singer-songwriter says his follow-up to 2021’s ‘Evering Road – his third solo LP overall – is his best set of songs to date and a real “step up”.
He boasted to Metro.co.uk: “The songs are so good. I’m not just saying it ‘cos it’s my album, they are. It’s a step up, I’ve grown up since I put my first album out.
“I think people will be pleasantly surprised. There’s no ‘Oh my God, he’s gone left field with it and gone on some mad direction,’ I’m not going to lie and say that. But I’ve definitely grown up.”
Meanwhile, Tom has been forced to stop performing his debut single because of a row over the lyrics.
The chart-topper was recently sued by an unnamed individual, who claims the ‘Lionheart’ hitmaker plagiarised the words for his 2016 track ‘Something In The Water’ and he is finding the dispute “really painful”.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column in March: “Tom has been going through hell behind the scenes after someone claimed they wrote ‘Something In The Water’.
“It is his first track and means so much to Tom, so to have someone saying this is really painful for him.
“He can no longer perform the song live and is having to try and fight it off.”
Tom alluded to the row on his ‘Phone In’ podcast where he admitted he is desperate to find video footage of him performing the song when he was a student at St Mary’s University in Twickenham because he never used to write down his lyrics, so doesn’t have physical proof that he wrote ‘Something In The Water’ himself.
He said: “I never used to write lyrics down, I used to remember them.
“But there was no proof that I wrote the songs.
“There was this one thing that happened to me that I showed a guy this song before I was signed and that, and when it came out, he said that he had written the song.
“There’s this thing where I can’t access anything of that song, it’s one of my biggest songs as well.
“I can’t say what song it is, it’s an ongoing thing.
“There’s videos of me doing it at uni but everybody’s got new phones now, everybody’s thrown phones out, so there’s no proof. Done me.
“I’m still waiting for someone to be like, ‘Ah, I’ve found one!’ but nobody has, unfortunately.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Paul McCartney will reunite with the late John Lennon on “the final Beatles song,” which has been finished using AI.
The surviving member of the legendary rock’n’roll group has revealed they used artificial intelligence on an old demo to extract Lennon’s vocals.
McCartney, 80, told BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ show: “We just finished it up and it’ll be released this year.”
The music legend didn’t name the song, but according to reports, it’s said to be ‘Now and Then’.
Lennon – who was murdered in New York in 1980 aged 40 – penned the song and his widow Yoko Ono handed it to McCartney in 1994 on a tape labelled “For Paul”.
It had been considered for release as part of the band’s ‘Anthology’ project, which included a documentary, a three-volume set of double albums and a book on the history of the group.
However, they went for ‘Real Love’ and ‘Free as a Bird’ from the same tape.
Iconic Beatles producer George Martin refused to produce the former track so they recruited ELO’s Jeff Lynne, who had already co-produced the latter tune.
The same method was used in Peter Jackson’s 2021 three-part Beatles documentary ‘Get Back’.
McCartney said: “[Jackson] was able to extricate John’s voice from a ropey little bit of cassette.
“We had John’s voice and a piano and he could separate them with AI. They tell the machine, ‘That’s the voice. This is a guitar. Lose the guitar.’
“So when we came to make what will be the last Beatles record, it was a demo that John had. We were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI. Then we can mix the record, as you would normally do. So it gives you some sort of leeway.”
McCartney admits that AI is “kind of scary”.
However, he added: “It’s the future. We’ll just have to see where that leads.”
The Beatles’ final song will be shared with the world later this year, with a firm release date yet to be announced.
Late guitarist George Harrison – who died in 2001 aged 58 – penned their last new song, ‘I, Me, Mine’, from the LP ‘Let It Be’, which was released before their break-up in April 1970.
The Beatles also included 82-year-old drummer Sir Ringo Starr.

OHMYGOSSIP — Queens of the Stone Age are bringing ‘The End Is Nero’ tour to the UK and Europe this November.
Josh Homme and co return with their new album ‘In Times New Roman…’ on Friday (16.06.23), and they are set to support the LP with a batch of shows this winter.
The arena run kicks off in Amsterdam on November 4 and includes dates in Manchester, London, Glasgow, and Birmingham, before wrapping in Dublin on November 22.
Tickets go on general sale on Friday (16.06.23) from 10am local time via Ticketmaster.co.uk.
The 50-year-old rocker has been through hell and back; losing 11 friends, including Foo Fighters’ drummer Taylor Hawkins and his former bandmate Mark Lanegan, while he went through a nasty legal battle with ex-wife Brody Dalle.
Josh accused The Distillers frontwoman of putting their children – Camille, 17, Orrin, 11, and seven-year-old Wolf – in “great danger”, and accused Dalle and her boyfriend Gunner Foxx of causing them “emotional harm”.
And on top of all of that, the ‘Emotion Sickness’ singer has just revealed he was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, for which he underwent successful surgery and is “healing”.
Josh chanelled his pain and grief into the vulnerable new record, which sounds “as brutal as it feels to be alive right now.”
Asked if it’s his most personal record to date, he told NME: “Yeah, of course. That’s what this is. You start dropping the armour that protects you from your insecurities, and once you drop a piece of that armour you can’t put it back on. I think on this journey of Queens of the Stone Age, there’s no armour left. It’s only about walking deeper into the darkness. That’s the way it should be. Kowtowing to my own insecurities or fears at my age is not a good look. It should be more vulnerable, not less. I also think that a lot of people are making these tuned, to-the-click records that are trying to blend in with pop music. ‘We’re rock, but we’re kind of pop too, are you okay with that?’ We wanted to be like: ‘No, we’re going to make something that sounds as brutal as it feels to be alive right now.’”

Kicking off in mid-June, the live performance series will see the artist start off performing “in an anchor space and steadily works through different locations, showing viewers the evolution of the music through creative workflow.”
A trailer shows the former One Direction star back in California where he made the album, which is in the running for number one in the UK this week.
In a statement, Niall, 29, said: “Performing live is my favourite thing to do.
“To bring the songs I’ve spent so much time with, seen through from start to finish is an amazing feeling. Shooting these performances with Vevo was a really special experience. I was able to go back to the place where I made the music, an area of California I adore and have spent a lot of time in over my career. To have these big songs played in an intimate setting is beautiful to me.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Radiohead album ‘OK Computer’ has been recreated in full just using sounds from Nintendo 64 games.
YouTuber on4word has reimagined the entirety of the band’s 1997 album with sounds from some classic games from the iconic video game console.
The ambitious project includes sounds from games like ‘The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask’, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’, ‘Golden Eye 007’, ‘Super Mario 64’ and ‘Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards’.
In the accompanying YouTube video, the creator included the reimagined LP – which is titled ‘OK Nintendo 64’ – along with visuals from the games in question.
‘Super Mario 64’ was used to give fresh takes on ‘Airbag’, ‘Subterranean Homesick Alien’ and ‘Fitter Happier’, while ‘Mario Kart 64’ sounds were used on ‘Paranoid Android’.
‘Exit Music (For A Film)’ was remade with the help of ‘Banjo Kazooie’, while ‘Goldeneye 007’ lent itself to ‘Climbing Up The Walls’ and ‘Karma Police’ was remade with sounds from ‘Star Fox 64’.
When it comes to ‘The Legend of Zelda’, ‘Let Down’ and ‘Electioneering’ were recreated with ‘Majora’s Mask’ and ‘Ocarina of Time’.
Meanwhile, Radiohead fans are still waiting for their first new album since 2016’s ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’, and drummer Philip Selway previously revealed the band has a “collective desire” to make new music.
The sticksman insists he and his bandmates – Thom Yorke, brothers Jonny and Colin Greenwood, and Ed O’Brien – all want to work together again in the future, “for the right reasons”, but have no immediate plans while they are busy with other projects.
He told Under the Radar: “There is still that collective desire to make music again together, in one way or another.
“But at the moment, we’re just finding the right context for that and the right projects. But it’s not going to be within the next year, probably. But it will happen because we want to and when you want to you’re doing it for the right reasons.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Take That wish the could’ve “talked more” in the 90s, and believe that could’ve stopped Robbie Williams leaving the band.
The group – now made up of Gary Barlow, 52, Mark Owen, 51, and Howard Donald, 55 – have told how they didn’t ever speak about their feelings in their heyday, which they believe is partly why Robbie quit the ‘Never Forget’ hitmakers in 1995.
Speaking on the band’s new ITVX documentary, ’30 Years in the Making’, Howard said: “To have someone close to you that you can speak to about your feelings, that’s one of the things we never ever did in the 90s, hence why Robbie left.
“We never discussed what he was feeling before he left that room. We look back at that moment and think we wished we could have talked more.
“I wonder if it could have saved him leaving. It was a massive lease of life for me to get everyone back together again.”
’30 Years in the Making’ delves into the three-decade long relationship between Take That and their fans.
In the film, Gary praises the band’s supporters as the “best in the world”.
He said: “They’re the best in the world. They’ve been with us all their lives.”
The documentary was created as a companion piece to the new Take That feature film ‘Greatest Days’, which will premiere on June 16th.
As well as exploring the challenges of bringing ‘Greatest Days’ to the big screen and featuring Gary, Howard and Mark, the documentary also features real-life Take That enthusiasts, including ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Alesha Dixon, TV presenting double act Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, and singer Calum Scott.

OHMYGOSSIP — BLACKPINK’s Jennie is “doing her best to recover” after she was forced to leave the stage mid-song during their Melbourne concert due to a “deteriorating condition”.
The 27-year-old singer was performing with the group Down Under on Sunday (11.06.23) when she had to depart the show early and didn’t return for the rest of the gig.
Record label and talent agency YG Entertainment said in a statement on the fan platform on Weverse: “Jennie was unable to complete the stage due to her deteriorating condition.
“We would like to extend our sincerest apologies to all the fans who have shown their support for Blackpink and those who attended the event. We kindly ask for your understanding in this situation.
“Jennie expressed her strong determination to carry on with the performance until the end. However, following medical advice on site, we immediately took measures to ensure she receives ample rest and stability.
“Jennie has conveyed her regrets for not being able to stay with the fans until the end, and assures that she will recover as soon as possible.”
Fan-captured videos of the performance show Jennie walking off stage while the band – also made up of Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo – were singing ‘Lovesick Girls’.
Jennie has since apologised to fans and said she is doing everything she can to get better from the mystery health issue.
In a note to fans, she wrote on her Instagram Story: “Dear Melbourne Blinks, I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to finish the show on Sunday.
“I’m doing my best to recover [at the moment]. Your understanding and support means the world to me.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to our Melbourne show. Love you guys.”
BLACKPINK are due to continue their ‘Born Pink’ world tour in Sydney, with two sold-out shows at the Qudos Bank Arena on Friday (16.06.23) and Saturday (17.06.23), and they will head to Auckland, New Zealand, later this month.
