OHMYGOSSIP — Leigh-Anne Pinnock has teased her debut solo album might be out in 2024.
The former Little Mix star – who has dropped her surname for her solo career – has so far released her debut solo single ‘Don’t Say Love’, ‘My Love’ with Ayra Starr, and she is also featured on Jon Batiste’s track ‘Running Away’.
The 31-year-old singer has been busy preparing her first studio effort and is also planning to hit the road.
Appearing on Amazon Music’s +44 podcast with hosts Zeze Mills and David ‘Sideman’ Whitely, she spilled of her record: “Well, I mean, it’s definitely in the works. Yeah, to be honest, coming together quicker than I think anyone thought, which is good. I reckon next year for sure. Because I want to tour like I want to perform, I belong on stage.”
Leigh-Anne admits it’s been hard building her solo career, especially with the rise of TikTok, despite the huge success of Little Mix.
She said: “It’s been a hard sort of transition. I remember, when we did ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ and when streaming started taking over and it really started coming in. I’m so old school, I’m trying to kind of get used to it I guess but with social media and TikTok, that is such an important part of any campaign. We have to set time aside for that. Whereas before it’d be like oh, forget time, we’ll figure it out.”
Leigh-Anne has accepted that not all Little Mix fans will like her solo tunes.
She added: “It’s incredible what Little Mix have done and what we’ve achieved, we’ve absolutely killed it. But now I am on my own and not all of the Little Mix fans are going to come along with me, I have to build a new fan base. Yeah, so I do feel like a new artist to some extent…”
Leigh-Anne previously revealed that her debut solo album will be a mixture of different sounds, even though she’s had so much success making pop music.
She told Billboard News: “Everyone knows that I’m an old-school RnB girl.
“At the same time, though, I really do want to incorporate the other genres that I love, so we have some reggae stuff on there. I think I am a pop girl at heart, too, so I just feel like that stamp is always going to be in the mix.”
As well as new music, Leigh-Anne has been auditioning for more movie roles after landing her big-screen debut in the festive rom-com ‘Boxing Day’ in 2021.
She said: “I have done a couple of auditions. But I am just kept so busy right now I want to focus on my solo era and do that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Metallica’s James Hetfield inspired Slipknot’s Corey Taylor to get sober.
Taylor – who had issues with drugs and alcohol – has been sober since 2010 and said seeing how Hetfield overcame his own addictions helped him to get clean.
Speaking to Consequence Of Sound, he said: “[I was] dealing with my own various addictions and fighting the depression that I had to deal with for years — the trauma that kind of came from when I was growing up.
“When he first started his journey, getting sober and getting healthy and whatnot, I looked at that, and I was, like, ‘Well, s***, if he’s strong enough to do it, maybe I can try it’. [Sobriety] had a big enough effect on me that, over the years, I’ve really tried to stick with it. In figuring that out, I also seen that there were so many people who were going down that path, as well. Jerry Cantrell had just gotten sober around that time, and he was starting to kind of put his steps together.”
However, Taylor admitted getting sober was not easy.
He said: “It takes time; it takes effort, takes . I really have to give [Hetfield] a lot of credit for the inspiration for that… It definitely helped to know that I wasn’t alone in it. And it certainly helped me clear my head and focus more. And really get down to writing again — really, truly writing.”
Corey, 49, previously revealed his addictions took a toll on both his mental health and his ability to do his job as frontman.
Speaking to Metal Hammer magazine, he said: “I was a full-blown alcoholic. I wanted to stay drunk so I could do horrible s*** because of my depression, because of my lack of self-confidence. I had become every cliché I hated because of it. You may have a family at home, but you may be running around f****** 10 chicks a night because of that lack of self-love. When you drink that much booze, who you are becomes very washy. There’s something in you that’s empty. Something in you that feels like chewing tinfoil.
“Health-wise, it was really f***ng me up. The first three months of working on [2004 LP] ‘Vol.3’ were a washout for me, because my voice was so shot from the boozing and the lifestyle.”

OHMYGOSSIP — The Rolling Stones are filming a new documentary.
Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have been working with Fulwell 73 on a documentary about the making of their latest record ‘Hackney Diamonds’.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Stones fans are in for a treat as they’re not only getting a new album, but a documentary film too.
“The band have been working with Fulwell 73 on the production. They’re the team behind ‘The Kardashians’ big deal with Hulu.
“The film will chart the band as they started working on the 12 tracks which appear on ‘Hackney Diamonds’.
“It will give followers an intimate and candid look at Mick, Keith and Ronnie as they work their magic in the studio, including the banter between them.
“There will also be nods to Charlie Watts, as this is the first record the band have made since he passed away in 2021.
“It includes scenes from their big press event at the Hackney Empire too, where they premiered the video for ‘Angry’ with Sydney Sweeney.
“It’s a very slick production and it will be amazing when it’s edited and the final cut is complete.”
Hackney Diamonds is released on October 20 and Watts played drums on two of the tracks before he died in August 2021.
Speaking at the album launch, Keith said: “Ever since Charlie has been gone it’s different, he’s number four. He’s missing, and of course he’s missed incredibly, but thanks to Charlie we have Steve Jordan who was his recommendation.
“He’s been a friend of ours so he was a natural progression. It would have been a lot harder without Charlie’s blessing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake is planning a “big tour” next year.
The ‘SexyBack’ hitmaker recently reunited with his NSYNC bandmates JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone for their first new song in 20 years, ‘Better Place’ – which appears in the trailer for his upcoming movie ‘Trolls Band Together’ – but despite speculation the group will be heading out on the road for a string of live shows, insiders insist that isn’t the case but instead the 42-year-old star has some major solo projects planned.
A source told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: “Justin is coming out with a new album, so he’s planning a big US tour for 2024.”
This comes after NSYNC appeared together at the VMAs earlier this month, 10 years after their final public performance at the awards show.
They took to the stage to present the Best Pop award, which was one of the nine prizes Taylor Swift took home on the night.
JC told the crowd: “Over 20 years ago we were here when we won Best Pop Video for ‘Bye Bye Bye’. It was our first VMA and it meant the world to us.”
Chris added: “That award validated our hard work.”
A visibly stunned Taylor, who admitted she had dolls of the group during her youth, asked the ‘Tearin’ Up My Heart’ hitmakers what their plans are for the future.
She said: “Are you doing something? What’s gonna happen now? They’re gonna do something and I need to know what it is.”
But the quintet remained coy.
She added: “You guys are pop personified so to receive this from your golden pop hands is really, it’s too much.”
It comes after JC, Lance, Chris and Joey briefly performed with Justin during a medley at the 2013 VMAs, as part of the singer winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award that night.

OHMYGOSSIP — Maren Morris is walking away from country music.
The 33-year-old singer is switching record labels from Columbia Nashville to Columbia Records because she began to feel “very, very distanced” from the industry and its politics and insisted it was time to “step outside” of the drama within the country “community”.
She told the Los Angeles Times newspaper of country music: “I thought I’d like to burn it to the ground and start over. But it’s burning itself down without my help.”
The ‘Get the Hell Out Of Here’ singer has been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and the Black Lives Matter movement, and she admitted pushing for change only led to her feeling isolated.
She said: “I’ve always been an asker of questions and a status quo challenger just by being a woman. So it wasn’t really even a choice.
“The further you get into the country music business, that’s when you start to see the cracks. And once you see it, you can’t un-see it…
“If you truly love this type of music and you start to see problems arise, it needs to be criticized. Anything this popular should be scrutinised if we want to see progress.
“But I’ve kind of said everything I can say. I always thought I’d have to do middle fingers in the air jumping out of an airplane, but I’m trying to mature here and realize I can just walk away from the parts of this that no longer make me happy.”
Maren admitted being female in the industry is particularly tough.
She said: “Being one of the few women that had any success on country radio, everything you do is looked at under a microscope. You’re scrutinised more than your male peers, even when you’re doing well.
“So I’ve had to clear all of that out of my head this year and just write songs. A lot of the drama within the community, I’ve chosen to step outside out of it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Blur, Garbage and Fatboy Slim are releasing special reissues for National Album Day.
They are among the artists who are celebrating the music of the 1990s by putting out special new versions of classic releases for the 90s-themed event – which honours the album in all its forms – on October 14 with Blur revisiting their second album ‘Modern Life Is Rubbish’’ with a new vinyl version 30 years on from its release in 1993.
Garbage will be reissuing their 1998 record ‘Version 2.0’ while Fatboy Slim will drop a halfspeed remaster of his BRIT Award-winning 1998 offering ‘You’ve Come A Long Way Baby’.
The list of reissues also features pop records including Eternal’s ‘Always And Forever’, ‘Rise’ by Gabrielle, ‘S Club’ by S Club, Simply Red’s ‘Blue’ and ‘Ocean Drive’ by ‘Lighthouse Family.
Other albums included in the reissue list are Catatonia’s International Velvet, Idlewild’s ‘Captain’, Stereophonics’ ‘Performance and Cocktails’, ‘Purple’ by Stone Temple Pilots and The Cranberries’ ‘Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?’.
This year’s National Album Day Ambassadors were recently announced as Gabrielle, Declan McKenna, Tricky and Nuno Bettencourt. Gabriel said of the honour: “I am thrilled to be an ambassador for National Album Day. I released my album ‘Rise’ in the 90s and it is the one I am most proud of. I’ve recently started collecting albums on vinyl myself and really enjoy that they encourage you to listen to a body of work in its entirety”.
Bettencourt added: “I never wanted to put any music out for the sake of putting music out. When you listen to an Extreme album, you’re getting something that we’re really proud of.
“Albums are a labour of love. They are a snapshot of a time in the artist’s life. A story needing to be told. When I think of my favourite artists, I think of the records that I wore out. The experience of getting lost in the music and taking a journey with the band.
“I’m excited to be an official ambassador for National Album Day because that is what rock is about … So put on your favourite record, or put on something new, and take that journey with the artist. The way it was meant to be.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Olly Alexander is “in shock and disbelief” at being immortalised in wax.
The Years + Years singer’s likeness is set to be unveiled at Madame Tussauds London next month, and the ‘It’s A Sin’ actor feels “very honoured” to be seeing his likeness join the likes of Harry Styles, Beyonce and Taylor Swift at the popular tourist attraction.
Olly said in a statement: “I’m completely overwhelmed and honestly in shock and disbelief to think I’ve been made into a figure for the iconic Madame Tussauds London! My brain simply cannot process it.
“Getting to be involved in the process was so cool and I feel very honoured to have been so lovingly sculpted into such a gorgeous figure – I’ve seen a sneak peek and I love it!
“I really can’t wait to hang out with the other figures especially Freddie Mercury, ET and Beyonce.”
The 33-year-old star first met with Madame Tussauds London artists in September 2022, where hundreds of measurements were taken, as well as reference photographs and clay moulds.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Cliff Richard has shared a reworked orchestral version of his early hit ‘The Young Ones’ to mark its 60th anniversary.
The 82-year-old music legend has marked the milestone of the 1962 tune by releasing the new “contemporary yet classic” version featuring an orchestral arrangement by Chris Walden.
‘The Young Ones’ was recorded for the film of the same name and marked the ‘Devil Woman’ hitmaker’s fifth number one single in the UK and remained in the top spot for six weeks.
The reworked version is the first track taken from the upcoming collection ‘Cliff With Strings – My Kinda Life’, which celebrates his 65 years in music.
He said: “What better way to celebrate this milestone in my career, than revisiting one of my earliest hits. This was an incredible time in my life, as this is the title track from my third film ‘The Young Ones’, which was the second biggest film of that year and a role that I loved to play. I am so grateful to all the fans that have stuck with me for all these years and that this song makes me feel as young as I was then.”
From his debut number one single ‘Living Doll’, released in 1959, as well as other number one hits ‘Summer Holiday’ and ‘We Don’t Talk Anymore’, plus songs like ‘Wired for Sound’, ‘Carrie’, ‘My Kinda Life’ and ‘The Best of Me’ – which was Cliff’s 100th single – the 12-track collection brings new life to Cliff’s original vocal recordings with beautiful new orchestral and string arrangements.
Cliff has also included his hit duet ‘Suddenly’ with late actress-and-singer Olivia Newton-John – who passed away in August 2022 at the age of 73 from cancer – which featured in the 1980 film ‘Xanadu’. Taken from one of their last performances together at Cliff’s 75th birthday concert on 14 October 2015, the new arrangement brings an emotional beauty to the two voices in harmony.
Speaking about how listening back to the recording made him very emotional, Cliff said: “After 65 years in the business, it is really an emotional journey to listen back to some of my original vocals and hear just how young I was and how my style changed over the years. These tracks mean a lot to me and they are so refreshed with the orchestral arrangements. The most emotional track on the album for me is ‘Suddenly’ with my dear friend Olivia Newton-John. We recorded this version together live for my 75th birthday in 2015 and it always strikes me how well our voices sounded together and the crystal gentility that Olivia always managed to exude. I’m glad I was able to highlight this great performance again.”
The collection not only includes 1993’s ‘Peace In Our Time’, but also the very rare recording from 1999 of Cliff’s performance of ‘Everything I Do (I Do It For You)’ at his Millennium Countdown concert. The track has only ever been available on the DVD release of the concert.
‘Cliff with Strings – My Kinda Life’ will be available digitally and on CD on East West Records on November 3, with the vinyl release following on November 24.

OHMYGOSSIP — Busted are already working on a new album and reassured fans they are here to stay.
Matt Willis – who is joined by Charlie Simpson and James Bourne in the pop rock trio – admits quitting after doing their current 20th anniversary tour and album would be the time to put the band to bed, but he insists there’s plenty more to come from the ‘Year 3000’ hitmakers.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column, Matt said: “It feels like it has all been leading up to this in a way, and if we are gonna hang up our hats then this would be the tour to do it on.
“I don’t think that we are, but this would be a good time.
“We’ve come full circle and this tour and album is celebrating all we have done in the past 20 years.”
Busted – who revisited their old hits and teamed up with the likes of Simple Plan, McFly and All Time Low on new versions on the LP ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’ – have been performing the new song ‘Good One’ on the tour and it’s a taste of what’s to come on the follow-up to 2019’s ‘Half Way There’.
He continued: “We wanted to show fans that this isn’t us bowing out, with it we are saying, ‘Don’t worry we aren’t going anywhere, we are constantly making music, constantly working, and there is a future to Busted.'”
Matt said: “‘Good One’ was the first track we did but now we have a bunch more, it’s a good song and it’s a sign of what’s to come.”
Asked what fans can expect from the other tracks, he teased: “The rest of the songs are very open, we are enjoying exploring new essences within Busted, it’s an interesting time for us.”

OHMYGOSSIP — SZA has surprised fans by releasing a new acoustic version of ‘Snooze’ featuring Justin Bieber.
After dropping the music promo for the ‘SOS’ track featuring the ‘Peaches’ hitmaker, SZA has shared the first song on the deluxe edition of the album, which is called ‘Lana’.
And the ‘Kill Bill’ hitmaker confessed she “forgot” the song was coming out today (15.09.23).
Alongside a clip of the song on Instagram, she wrote: “Ps. forgot to mention this lmao Snooze Acoustic ft @Justinbieber out now. (sic)”
This week also saw SZA and former flame Drake – who briefly dated in 2009 – tease their track on the latter’s hotly anticipated LP ‘For All The Dogs’.
The pair both shared what appears to be the artwork for ‘Slime You Out’ on Instagram – a picture of Hollywood star Halle Berry covered in green slime at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
It comes with a Parental Advisory warning.
SZA is tagged in Drake’s post which simply has the embarrassed face emoji and a green love heart.
The ‘Good Days’ singer also shared the same artwork to her profile and tagged her ex-lover.
It’s expected to be released today as well.
‘For All The Dogs’ will drop on September 22 and will also feature collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Bad Bunny.
The lead single ‘Search and Rescue’ arrived back in April.
SZA previously gushed that she thinks “highly” of the ‘Rich Flex’ rapper.
The star insisted things have never been “weird” between them since their split and they have nothing but kind things to say about each other.
SZA told Audacy last year: “We’re cool. And we’ve always been cool. It’s never been weird.
Anytime he’s ever mentioned me, it’s always been positive.
He’s never said anything negative about me. I’m grateful for that. I think highly of him… He’s King Drake.”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Mayer will be playing a one-off show in Los Angeles next week to raise funds for a veterans charity.
The 45-year-old musician has booked a gig at The Wiltern venue in the city on Tuesday September 19 and all the proceeds will go to the Heart and Armor Foundation – the charity he set up to help war veterans through scientific research and is focused on improving the lives of servicemen and woman who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.
He explained in a statement posted on Instagram: “To celebrate the start of the upcoming fall SOLO tour, I’ll be playing a special concert at @thewiltern in Los Angeles next Tuesday, September 19. All proceeds will benefit @heartandarmor, a foundation to support veterans’ health … Tickets are on sale this Friday at 10AM and can be accessed with your unique code – the link? It’s in the bio.”
Speaking about the charity’s launch, John shared his reasons for setting up the organisation. In a statement posted on the charity’s website, he explained: “I am about the same age as the first wave of Iraq and Afghanistan military veterans. I have felt gratitude and discomfort about the disproportionately large burden that military service members carry in our society, and I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out the best way to ‘support the troops’ with real action instead of platitudes.
“This foundation is the culmination of eight years of research, conversations with veterans, and pilot work … I think few reasonable people would argue that we have an obligation to long term health of these men and women. And Heart and Armor will certainly do its part in meeting those obligations.
“But I also hope this foundation helps people look a little closer; we can all do a better job of sharing the burden. Listening. Exploring. Risking. Participating. Serving one another, even when it’s inconvenient and tedious … I am so grateful to veterans for carrying so much of our burden, and I hope you join me in trying to share a little of theirs.”
John’s ‘Solo’ tour kicks off in Hollywood, Florida on September 27. The trek will stop in cities including New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville and Tampa before concluding at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on November 10.
He will then head to Europe for dates in early 2024.

Elsewhere during the night, Taylor won another eight accolades to take her tally to nine, including Song of the Year for ‘Anti-Hero’.
In her speech, she praised her longtime song writing partner Jack Antonoff, who wasn’t in attendance.
She said: “I want to say, I’m really, really lucky that I get to write songs with one of my best friends in the world, his name is Jack Antonoff.
“I’m so lucky I’ve been making music with him since we worked on an album called ‘1989’ – we will continue working together until 2089!’
“Anyway, I am so, so happy because this is validating my favourite part of what I get to do.”
The ceremony was hosted by Nicki Minaj, who also went home with an award. She triumphed in the Best Hip-Hop category for ‘Super Freaky Girl’.
Other winners included and Ice Spice being named Best New Artist; Stray Kids’ ‘S-Class’ was awarded Best K-Pop; Anitta’s ‘Funk Rave’ took the Best Latin award; and SZA landed Best R and B thanks to song ‘Shirt’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Noel Gallagher would love his own Las Vegas residency.
The former Oasis rocker admitted he likes the idea of a run in Sin City “in later life” when he feels too old to hit the road on longer tours.
Speaking on ‘The Matt Morgan Podcast’, he said: “Would I do Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in Vegas? Possibly in later life.
“You don’t have to go anywhere. You live in the hotel that you play at.
“Elvis Presley used to get a lift from his room to the stage – I wouldn’t mind doing that.”
Noel also revealed how the current High Flying Birds tour is going, and revealed he was preparing for an upcoming gig in Amsterdam, which also appealed.
He added: “We’ve decided we’ll rehearse in Amsterdam – smoking wacky baccy, that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
“Two days of rehearsals are needed to dust the cobwebs off.
“I’m going to Holland, Italy, France and somewhere else on the next tour.”
Once the tour is over, the ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ hitmaker will take a break and actually head over to Vegas on holiday, where he’ll match sure to catch U2 on their own residency.
He said: “I’m going on holiday for a couple of weeks, and I’ve got bits to do at the studio, taking the kids away, that kind of thing – then I’m going to Las Vegas to see U2.
“They’re doing a residency, ‘Achtung Baby’ – their best album. It’s going to be quite the experience.”
Meanwhile, fans shouldn’t expect Noel to channel the likes of U2 frontman Bono if he follows in their Vegas footsteps, as he is happier singing and playing guitar instead of being a performer.
He told Radio X: “Some people are cut out for that kind of thing. Chris Martin for example, can do that thing with the crowd. Bono can do that thing with the crowd. I can’t. I’m not interested in it.”
The Britpop legend insists his huge hits like ‘Wonderwall’ speak for themselves and don’t require anything else to leave his fans in awe.
He said: “That song’s bigger than me. That song will be around long after I’m gone. So those big songs like that and ‘Wonderwall’… I don’t feel like I have to be larger than life.
“I mean people are here to see me. They know who I am. They know what I’m like. And that’s what you pay for and that’s what you get.”

The ‘From Yesterday’ rockers – made up of brothers Jared and Shannon Leto – are set to return with sixth album ‘It’s the End of the World But It’s a Beautiful Day’, and they have given fans a hint of what to expect.
Speaking on Tuesday (12.09.23) at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, Jared said: “We are celebrating three days until the album comes out, and we couldn’t be happier.”
Shannon teased “a lot of changes, a lot of growth and a lot of maturity” in the new material.
His actor and singer brother added: “It’s been five years, you know, a lot’s happened, the world had a little bit of a hiccup.
“We all had a little time in those early days of COVID to think about our lives and the future.
“But for us… this is our sixth album, and we’re just struck with gratitude that we get to make music for people, we get to tour the world [and] we get to continue to make music with each other.”
Jared previously revealed that when it came to the new LP – their first studio collection in five years – the brothers wanted to try things they’ve never done before.
He told the ‘Smallzy’s Surgery’ podcast: “Art is that kind of experience, it’s very subjective.
“But we wanted to start from the beginning, we wanted to do things that we haven’t done before and I feel like we’ve really accomplished them.
“This album is a new beginning, it feels like a new band.”
The band announced the album news earlier this year alongside the video for the lead single ‘Stuck’.
Jared – who directed the promo – said in a statement: “Thanks to my incredibly creative mother, my brother and I were instilled with a love for art and photography from a very young age.
“The video for STUCK, our first new song in five years, is a love letter to some of my favorite photographers.
“Artists who made a very deep impact on me like Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Robert Mapplethorpe, Diane Arbus, Herb Ritts and more.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Cast frontman John Power has announced an intimate solo tour across the UK later this year.
The 55-year-old musician – who also played bass for ‘There She Goes’ rockers The La’s between 1986 and 1991 – is set to hit the road next month for a string of career spanning acoustic performances.
He said: “Come join me for this autumn’s acoustic tour. I’ll be playing songs from the early days right through to the present. Be lovely to see you all.”
Already, shows have sold out at Glasgow’s King Tut’s, Dunfermline’s PJ Molloys, Foxlowe Arts Centre in Leek and Portsmouth’s Staggeringly Good Brewery.
The tour kicks off in Altrincham at The Bowden Rooms on October 5 before the two sold out Scotland dates, with John then moving to The Church in Dundee.
The run of gigs in October also includes concerns in Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, York, Northwich, Hull, Sheffield and Blackpool.
On November 17, John will perform at the Camden Assembly in London, before the sold out Portsmouth show the next night.
The tour will end on November 19 with a show at Minehead’s Shiiine on Weekender.
John first rose to fame as a member of The La’s, playing on the band’s self-titled – and only – debut album.
He went onto become vocalist and guitarist for Cast, going onto reach the UK top 10 with hits like ‘Walkway’, ‘Fine Time’ and ‘Alright’ with their first three albums reaching similar heights.
After forming in 1992, the band later split nine years later, which sparked a solo career for John, although he would later reunite with Cast in 2010.
As well as a string of live shows, they also released two new albums, including ‘Kicking Up Dust’ in 2017, while their sixth record is on the way early next year.

OHMYGOSSIP — Offset would “love” to team up with Cardi B on a full length album.
The 31-year-old rapper and his wife – who got married in 2017 and have kids Kulture, five, and Wave, two, together – dropped joint track ‘Jealousy’ over the summer, and he has teased the possibility of recording an LP.
Asked by ‘Entertainment Tonight’ if they could collaborate on an album, he went high pitched and coyly said: “You never know, you never know.
“I would love to do that [a collaborative album] with my lady, you know?
“I love to do everything with my beautiful lady. She looks so beautiful tonight if I must say.”
He also seemed to confirm his wife’s comments that they have worked on four or five songs already.
Speaking at the MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday (12.09.23), he teased: “We got more cooking in the pot, you know?”
Before then, fans are still eagerly awaiting Cardi’s second album, which is reportedly “almost ready” and coming “soon”.
The 30-year-old rapper is gearing up to drop a follow-up to her 2018 debut LP ‘Invasion of Privacy’, having released new single ‘Bongos’ with Megan Thee Stallion earlier this month.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “It’s been a long time coming but Cardi is finally ready to kick off her new era.
“She has pulled out all the stops with the video, money wasn’t an object.
“Cardi has made sure it has been well worth the wait. The album is almost ready and will be out soon.”
And while the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker is no stranger to working with her husband, Offset previously insisted he and Cardi don’t release collaborations often because they are “very” critical of each other.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning America’, he said: “Me and her got great energy.
“We don’t really put a lot of records out because we’re very hard on each other about the records.”
