Emeli Sande records surprise collaboration with Headie One

OHMYGOSSIP — Emlie Sande has reportedly worked on a collaboration with Headie One.
The ‘Read All About It’ hitmaker is forming an unlikely team in the studio with the 29-year-old rapper – whose real name is Irving Adjei – and they’ve been working on a few tracks together.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Emeli and Irving were introduced to each other by mutual friends and really hit it off over their mutual love of British rap music.
“Emeli is in a space where she wants to make music which gives fans a greater look at her background, so she and Headie went into the studio to work on some ideas.”
Their time writing together has resulted in a trio of songs, with one of them standing out as a single, although it’s not known what will happen to the others.
The insider added: “Three tracks came out of the session and there’s one they really love and want that to be a single.”
Brit Award-winning star Emeli – who released her fifth studio album ‘How Were We To Know’ last year – previously admitted that while she wants to “grow” as an artist, it can be tricky to “get the balance” when it comes to pleasing an audience.
Despite the struggle, she still enjoys playing classic tracks like ‘Next to Me’ and ‘Read All About It’ for the crowd because it makes her feel “confident” on stage.
Speaking in November 2023, she told the Daily Star newspaper’s Wired column: “‘For me as an artist, I want to grow and try different approaches. “It’s hard to get the balance because I will be like ‘Let’s do a jazz version’ and then they will be so disappointed if the song they came to see sounds nothing like what they remember.
“But it’s great to have songs that you know will be crowd pleasers. It makes me feel confident going on stage.’ ”

Green Day legend Billie Joe Armstrong blames drinking on stage fright

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Joe Armstrong thinks his drinking problem stemmed from stage fright.
The Green Day frontman – who has been open about his struggles with alcohol addiction over the past few decades – has pointed to the period around 1995’s album ‘Insomniac’ as the beginning of his issues, which came from trying to deal with the pressure of performing live.
He told the ‘WTF’ podcast: “I get massive stage fright, it’s the anticipation of all day going on and getting ready to go on stage at a stadium or something.
“I started around the record after ‘Dookie’, that I would get so nervous that I started drinking more before shows.
“I was like, ‘Hey that works, I’m gonna keep doing that’. Then I realised, ‘Woah I keep drinking after the show too and during the show’. It just kinda happened.”
The ‘Basket Case’ hitmaker has recalled his drinking even during high periods for the pop punk legends, such as 2004’s ‘American Idiot’ rock opera LP.
He said: “I’ll be fine for a few drinks then some other guy starts to come into the picture. Not angry, I start to turn into everyone’s drunk annoying uncle.
“It can get really funny then it can turn where I can’t switch it off and I’m drinking until [4am].
“There were other human garbage can moments where other drugs were involved but that’s the thing, I just want to keep going.”
Billie Joe – who was sober for five years between 2012 and 2017 – admitted he fell back into old habits.
He added: “It was fine for a while and It steadily got back in your old ways. I’m older. It hurts my body and emotionally more. My family more.”
Green Day return on Friday (19.01.24) with new album ‘Saviors’.

Robbie Williams hit with case of ‘January blues’

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams is suffering the ‘January blues’.
The former Take That singer, 49, says he feels like he is marooned in a “blank space” and told fans he has been waking up thinking he has Covid.
He posted on Instagram: “I’m in one of those periods where every email I have to get back to feels like homework that won’t get done until I’m on the bus to school.
“Every social engagement feels undoable and everything, except staying in bed, feels impossible.
“The thing is I’m not unhappy, I’m not depressed, and all is good. I’m not even ‘meh’. I’m just in a very nice blank space.”
He added about feeling like he needs to get vanish to get refreshed and enjoy time with his wife Ayda and their children: “A reset I guess. They happen now and then. I disappear. Because I have to. Some friends get it, some friends don’t.
“The friends that don’t, Well, it was nice to know them. I can’t be in trouble for needing to shut down.
“All I wanna do is watch TV with Ayda and the kids and do the Comment Section Cup.
“All of those things make me happy.”
Robbie, who has spent years battling addictions to drugs and food as well as mental health illnesses, also asked his fans: “Anyone else waking up feeling like they’ve either got Covid or a cold but then an hour later you know you haven’t? “But then you spend the rest of the day really effing tired and a bit grumpy? What gives?”

Jesy Nelson ‘planning documentary to give fans her side of Little Mix exit’

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesy Nelson is reportedly planning a documentary to give fans her side of her Little Mix exit.
The singer, 32, abruptly quit the hit group in December 2020 amid mental health struggles and a source has now said her time out of the spotlight since she left has given her the space to want to tell fans about her motivation for splitting from the band.
An insider told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Jesy has had a really rough ride since leaving Little Mix.
“So much has been said about her and she wants to go on the record and speak directly to her fans about everything that has happened. Jesy’s solo career has been a difficult road to navigate.
“Last year she had to put the brakes on her album and now she is preparing to forge a fresh path.
“This documentary could help her set the record straight and allow people to see what it has been like for her.
“A production company is in touch and has been working with Jesy about what she would want the documentary to look like. It’s been nerve-wracking but exciting for her.”
Jesy released a documentary titled ‘Odd One Out’ in 2019, which earned her a National Television Award, and in which she spoke about the pressure of being in Little Mix and how she had been targeted by Internet trolls.
Before Jesy’s exit, Little Mix were inseparable for almost a decade and became the biggest girl group since Spice Girls, selling millions of records and achieving five UK No1s.
At the time she quit Jesy said: “The truth is recently being in the band has really taken a toll on my mental health.
“I find the constant pressure of being in a girl group and living up to expectations very hard.
“There comes a time in life when we need to reinvest in taking care of ourselves rather than focusing on making other people happy.”

Bruce Springsteen ‘set to consult on movie about making of his Nebraska album’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Springsteen is said to have been hired as a consultant on a feature film about the making of his 1982 album ‘Nebraska’.
The E Street Band leader, 74, was reportedly hired by ‘Black Mass’ director Scott Cooper, who is probably best known for his 2009 film ‘Crazy Heart’ starring Jeff Bridges as a washed-up country singer.
Showbiz 411 reported the rumoured collaboration, and added: “Austin Butler is a possibility (to play Bruce) but after playing Elvis Presley he might not be the right choice.”
Sources also said Scott definitely does not have Timothée Chalamet in mind to play Bruce, as the actor is about to play Bob Dylan in another film.
Bruce’s sixth studio album ‘Nebraska’ was lauded as an introspective turn for the ‘Born to Run’ rocker, and is said to have been inspired by a bout of depression.
Music legend has it that the New Jersey-born musician intended to rerecord the raw, emotional demo tracks that would comprise the forthcoming ‘Nebraska’, but eventually decided to release the songs as they were.
World of Reel has also reported a film might be on the way based on the 2023 book ‘Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska’ by Warren Zanes.
Bruce was recently forced to cancel and reschedule several shows after being diagnosed with peptic ulcer disease.
A statement on the singer’s Instagram posted on 27 September 2023 said: “Over here on E Street, we’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows.
“We’ve been having a blast at our US shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon. Love and God bless all, Bruce.”
In October 2023, Bruce added said he was “deeply sorry” about the change in plans while appearing on SiriusXM’s E Street Radio show ‘From My Home to Yours’.
He said: “Let me take a moment and thank my fans affected by our postponed shows for their understanding.
“I am deeply sorry but this belly thing, despite my ability to laugh at it, has been a monster and is still unfortunately rocking my internal world.”

Billie Eilish set up cameras in music studio that will show her fun side

OHMYGOSSIP — Billie Eilish has set up cameras in her music studio she says will show her fun side.
The ‘Bad Guy’ singer, 22, has been writing her third record with her brother and collaborator Finneas, and says the footage will show them larking around and not being constantly serious.
She told the ‘Awards Chatter’ podcast: “For ‘Happier Than Ever’ (in 2021) we didn’t really record any (film), but this new one, we’ve been having a camera in the corner for every single second of writing it, which is blackmailing ourselves.
“It’s just us candidly being siblings and joking and talking (rubbish) and stuff.”
Billie’s next album is due out in the summer, and Billie has said she is planning to write the script for a musical with her brother, adding: “I’m so excited to see where (his ideas) go.”
Her camera set-up appears to be part of her renewed openness with fans, as she recently stunned fans by showing off a huge back tattoo.
The performer, who also recently flaunted teeth grills and part of a dragon inking she has kept hidden, posted an image of herself lying face down with a bare back and her huge design still smeary.
Billie’s tatt spans from the nape of her neck to the small of her back, sparking comments from floods of fans asking what the swirling, crack-like design was meant to represent.
Billie also posted another snap of herself with her back partially covered but the side of the tatt still visible and unsmeared.
Last year, she also showed off in an Instagram post her chest tattoo even though she had vowed her fans wouldn’t “ever see” the inking.
She posted a video showing her gyrating as she held onto the arms of a desk chair while revealing the tip of a dragon design, and wearing a T-shirt featuring an angel from Raphael’s Sistine Chapel painting.
Billie has several other tatts including “some fairies that are from a book that I had growing up – a little fairy book called ‘Fairyopolis’” on her hand and wrist.
She has said she has three tattoos including a design on her chest “that says ‘Eilish.’”
Billie has previously said she values her privacy and singer declared in a 2019 campaign video for Calvin Klein: “I never want the world to know everything about me. I mean, that’s why I wear big baggy clothes.
“Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath, you know?
“Nobody can be like, ‘Oh she’s slim-thick, she’s not slim-thick, she got a flat ass, she got a fat (bum,)’ Nobody can say any of that because they don’t know.”

Pete Townshend says Instagram guitarists need to learn the art of listening

OHMYGOSSIP — Pete Townshend has hailed his late bandmates Keith Moon and John Entwistle as a “formidable” rhythm section.
The Who lead and rhythm guitarist admits the group’s sticksman Keith was a “nutty drummer”, but when he played with bassist John they were untouchable because they listened to each other.
He told Guitarist magazine: “Keith Moon was a nutty drummer, but he listened to John Entwistle, too.
“So they were a very formidable rhythm section.
“And I knew I could play anything and they would follow.
John Entwistle would know the notes that I was playing sometimes before I did!
So the importance of listening is vital.”
The ‘Baba O’Riley says a lot of Instagram guitarists he follows, as good as they are at playing, they need to work with other people to learn the art of listening.
Speaking about the late music icon Prince’s “flashy” shredding, he said: “Well, Prince could shred and he often would play a really soulful blues track, and then in order to get from one bit of blues to the other, he would do an extraordinary shred.
So it was a bit flashy. Maybe it was just to show he could do it. So, I don’t know.
“I think it’s just the disconnect that has happened sometimes.
“And where you see it stop is when that kind of artist, and there are many on Instagram – one of my favorites is a guy called Angel Vivaldi, who’s a brilliant, brilliant player – but when he works with other musicians, he changes. He actually listens to them and fits in. He can play anything that he wants.
“And there are a couple of others that I follow as well, but a lot of them are just solo musicians that have mastered their craft and got really, really fast.
“So, I think what needs to happen is they need to be fitted into the music world, somewhere other than Instagram. That’s the challenge for them. I think it’s the challenge right now, as it is for a lot of electronic music musicians: they are very isolated, working on their own.”

Justin Timberlake to host free hometown concert

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake will host a free concert in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.
The 42-year-old singer and actor is building anticipation for his musical comeback with a special ‘One Night Only’ show at the Orpheum, which has a capacity of 2,300, on January 19.
Justin shared a picture of a billboard with the show details on Instagram and wrote: “Going home”.
He also posted an old video of himself as a pre-teen saying: “This is where I come from… this is the Mississippi River and that is Memphis, Tennessee.”
And, Justin shared a picture of an itinerary with “travel to Memphis Jan. 19 – Orpheum” on his to-do list.
All other items on the list were concealed.
Meanwhile, Justin’s longtime collaborator Timbaland recently teased Justin’s return to music, saying his new album would be a return to “fun Justin”.
He told Variety: “We just finished up and everything sounds great. Now it’s really on him how he plans to wrap it up and how and when he envisions it to come out. With an artist of his caliber, everything has to be aligned, but it’s done and it’s coming.
“It’s fun Justin — it’s like ‘FutureSex /LoveSounds’ but nothing too heavy, just giving you what you’d expect from us: not overthought, the lyrics are not so deep, it’s bob-your-head, dance-to-it music. Music is a young sport, and you have to keep it fun — fun and young. We’ve both seen a lot of life, but you can’t overthink it because of that, you have to bring out the 13-year-old, 18-year-old again, you know? If not, you can get into the old-fogey stage real quick. That’s just the world we live in.
“So you have to know how to be authentic and true to the art and understand it, and that’s what this album is. We took our time. We had songs that maybe were too complicated, but we said ‘We want it to feel like FutureSex part two,’ so we picked songs that will fit that.”
Speaking about Justin’s last album ‘Man of the Woods’, which deviated from his usual sound, Timbaland said: “Every artist has to get things off their chest. You do all these records and it’s like, ‘Cool, but let me tell you who I am.’ Sometimes when an artist does that, it’s a big risk, but without risk, there’s no reward. So I thought it was a great thing for him to do. Now we’re back to the essence.”

Gwen Stefani to headline Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate

OHMYGOSSIP — Gwen Stefani will headline the Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate.
The 54-year-old star will be the main performer at the pregame party before the NFL’s flagship game on February 11.
Gwen said in a statement: “We all know how massive of an event Super Bowl is, and I am so honoured I get to be a part of it and perform at the Super Bowl TikTok Tailgate.”

This is the fourth year of the NFL’s partnership with TikTok for the tailgate show and it will be available to watch on the NFL’S TikTok account.
Some of Gwen’s performance will also be shown on CBS’s ‘Super Bowl LVIII Pregame Show’.
Miley Cyrus headlined the first TikTok tailgate in 2021, with The Chainsmokers in 2022 and The Black Keys and Jason Derulo in 2023.
Meanwhile, Usher will headline the Super Bowl halftime show this year.
Usher – who joined Black Eyed Peas on stage during their 2011 Super Bowl gig – previously admitted he had been waiting some time to get the call to headline the sporting show.
He told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: “I think being able to see performances from artists like Michael [Jackson], you know, eventually Prince, and then even more modern-day artists… I was like, ‘Man, at some point I need to get a call with what’s going on now.’
“But I’m really happy that I’m joining that short list of legacy artists from my genre who deserve this moment.
“And I’m really happy that Jay-Z and also Roc Nation really put thought into making certain that they could bring to the world this kind of experience. It is definitely going to be a moment to remember.”
The 45-year-old singer has also enlisted the services of his 14-year-old son Naviyd to be his “musical director” for the show.
Speaking on ‘Today With Hoda and Jenna’, he spilled: “The greatest list I received is actually from my son, Naviyd. He is my musical director.
“He has given me a curation of how much time in addition to the songs.”

Rick Witter wants to sing for other bands

OHMYGOSSIP — Rick Witter wants to be invited to record with another band following the success of Shed 7’s new album.
The ‘Chasing Rainbows’ hitmakers have achieved their first number one with their 30th anniversary LP ‘A Matter of Time’, which features guest appearances from the likes of Pete Doherty, Happy Mondays’ Rowetta and Laura McClure from Reverend and the Makers.
While drafting in other vocalists was new territory for the group, singer Rick hopes he’ll now be asked to return the favour.
He told the Daily Star Sunday’s Wired column: “It’s the first time we’ve had featured vocalists.
“Maybe someone will ask me to do the same now, as I’ve never been asked to do someone else’s song.”
The Libertines rocker Pete revealed himself to be a Shed Seven superfan.
Rick said: “Pete told me Shed Seven songs were some of the first he learned to play on guitar.”
The 51-year-old rocker admitted the group were keen to release new music to capitalise on the trend for all things 90s.
He laughed: “We wanted to jump on that as much as we can before it all disappears again.”
The ‘Going for Gold’ singer first met guitarist Paul Banks at Huntington Secondary School in York and even as teenagers their music was causing a stir.
Rick recalled: “We’d argue about whether U2 or Simple Minds were better. We were already writing songs by then. For 15 year olds, our songs weren’t bad.
“We played our first gig at a local pub, The Spotted Cow. Our headteacher was furious when we put posters for it up at school.
“He said, ‘You can’t advertise something at a pub in a school’, which is fair enough.”

Greta Van Fleet have moved on from Led Zeppelin comparisons

OHMYGOSSIP — Greta Van Fleet guitarist Jake Kiszka insists the band evolved beyond Led Zeppelin comparisons.
The shredder has studied all the guitar gods, including Zeppelin’s very own Jimmy Page, and although there is no denying the band has been influenced by the ‘Whole Lottta Love’ legends, with ‘Starcatcher’, they feel like they’ve arrived at their signature sound.
Speaking to Guitarist magazine, he said of religiously studying Page’s guitar playing: “There’s been a handful of guitar players I’ve done that with. [Eric] Clapton was one. [Jimi [Hendrix], from the American side. It gets into philosophy at some point.
It was like living and breathing a type of guitar player at any given time. Page was one of those guys where if I was playing a Zeppelin track, I would walk through exactly what his thought process was when he was putting that song together. I could think exactly like him, or Hendrix, or whoever. Because if you spend enough time with that stuff, it’s like a psychological character study, if you will.”
Asked if he’s ever met his idol, he replied: “I haven’t. I’ve been in close proximity. We were staying in the same hotel in LA and missed each other in the lobby by a couple of minutes. Our manager was like, You know who just walked through here? Jimmy Page?’ So, close but not quite.”
Asked if they’ve put an end to the comparisons with their new album, he explained: “I think, if you take a common denominator control group, and you ask them, What is rock ‘n’ roll to you?’, then Zeppelin and those groups that laid the foundation are the baseline. So our [early] approach was, We’re playing rock ‘n’ roll music.’ It’s what we grew up with. It’s what we listen to. It’s driven deeply into our DNA. And initially, yeah, the reaction was like, ‘This sounds a bit like Zeppelin?’ You’d get that reference a lot. I’m sure every rock ‘n’ roll band gets that reference a lot. But time goes on, you get a bit older, there’s an evolution in what you’re doing, and with ‘Starcatcher’ it definitely sounds like Greta Van Fleet, no doubt about that.”

Sheryl Crow rages against the AI machine on Evolution with the help of RATM’s Tom Morello

OHMYGOSSIP — Sheryl Crow shares her concerns about AI (Artificial Intelligence) in her new song ‘Evolution’.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, 61, has shared the title track from her upcoming 11th studio album, and she admits she finds it “unsettling” that her children could grow up in a world dominated by the tech used by machines capable of performing tasks that require human intelligence.
Grammy winner Sheryl – who has two adopted sons – said: “Stephen Hawking [late theoretical physicist] worried that AI would replace humans. As a mom, I want to leave a better world for my children, a healthier planet – is AI going to be a benevolent partner in these goals or not? It’s unsettling, and this song deals with those anxieties.”
On how the track came about, she shared: “I wrote the song with just me on guitar and vocals, sent it to [producer] Mike Elizondo and said, this is bigger than me, can you take a crack at it?”
It features an epic guitar solo by Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello.
She said of the 59-year-old rocker’s contribution: “To me, Tom’s playing comes from some other planet.
“It’s a cool bit of kismet that we were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in the same year, and his solo on ‘Evolution’ just ejects you into space.”
The full album arrives on March 29.
Meanwhile, it appears Rage Against The Machine have parted ways once more.
Drummer Brad Wilk, 55, recently claimed he and his bandmates – Tim Commerford, 55, Zack de la Rocha, 54, and Tom – “will not be touring or playing live again” as a band.
He announced on Instagram: “I know a lot of people are waiting for us to announce new tour dates for all the cancelled RATM shows.
“So, while there has been some communication that this may be happening in the future… I want to let you know that RATM (Tim, Zack, Tom and I) will not be touring or playing live again.
“I’m sorry for those of you who have been waiting for this to happen. I really wish it was…”
He signed off the post: “Bottom of my heart… Thank you to every person who has ever supported us.”
The ‘Killing in the Name’ group had to cancel their 2022 UK and Europe dates and North American shows in 2023 after frontman Zack tore his Achilles tendon while performing.
Guitarist Tom recently insisted he didn’t know if they would be going back out on the road, insisting “we’re in [a] time of healing”.
And he was unsure if they were on an indefinite hiatus.
The ‘Killing In The Name’ hitmakers first briefly broke up in late 1994, due to creative differences, before regrouping for the KROQ Weenie Roast in June 1995.
In 2000, Zack quit the group because their “decision-making process completely failed”.
And they have had several periods of timeout over the years.

Selena Gomez: ‘I’m the girl who’s playing Ariana Grande all the time’

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez listens to Ariana Grande non-stop.
The two pop stars have often been pitted against each other, but the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star, 31, is making it known that she is a huge fan of the 30-year-old singer as she makes her return with the new single ‘Yes, And?’.
Speaking to SiriusXM Hits 1, Selena gushed: “I cannot do anything fun without listening to Ariana. I feel so empowered and I think she is incredible and I just have so much fun. I’m the girl who’s playing Ariana all the time… I think she’s amazing.”
House-infused dance tune ‘Yes, And?’ has only been out for less than 24 hours and is already a hit.
While the sound is fun and playful, fiery Airana lays into her critics in the lyrics.
She sings: “Don’t comment on my body, do not reply / Your business is yours and mine is mine / Why do you care so much whose! I ride.”
The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker also sings about protecting her privacy: “My tongue is sacred, I speak upon what I like / Protected, sexy, discerning with my time.”
After fans solved a cryptic code in a teaser for her music video for the track, it appears her upcoming album could be called ‘Eternal Sunshine’ in tribute to her late former boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, whom she dated from 2016 to 2018.
In the clip, a card reads “ag7” and “your presence has been exclusively requested” and includes the coordinates for Montauk, New York, where the Jim Carrey film ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’ was filmed.
Mac – who tragically died from an accidental overdose aged 26 in September 2018 – was a huge fan of the film and Ariana loves Jim.
Speaking to Complex in 2013, he said: “I love Jim Carrey when he’s being serious. He killed this role. Whenever I’m talking to a girl, I always tell them to watch Eternal Sunshine. It cuts deep.”

Liam Gallagher calls Noel Gallagher ‘soft’ Ronan Keating for ending Oasis due to brawling

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has branded arch-nemesis Noel Gallagher a “soft” Ronan Keating-type for ending Oasis due to their infamous brawling.
The siblings’ legendary Britpop group Oasis met its demise following a backstage bust-up between the feuding pair at their final concert at Rock En Seine festival in Paris in 2009.
Noel, 56, walked out on the ‘Some Might Say’ group because he couldn’t take Liam’s allegedly hostile behaviour towards him, but Liam insists they were both as bad as each other and that is “what made Oasis what it was”.
He explained in an ever-candid interview with The Guardian newspaper: “That was my behaviour since day one, and his. That’s what made Oasis what it was.”
Comparing his brother, the defunct group’s guitarist and songwriter, to Boyzone member Ronan, 46, the former frontman, 51, continued: “I wasn’t any different, but all of a sudden, he’s turned into Ronan Keating or some soft [redacted], going: ‘We can’t have that behaviour.'”
Liam – who has since had his successful solo career and has teamed up with ex-Stone Roses guitarist John Squire, 61, on an upcoming album – cannot understand how Noel has a problem with him and will have former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan as a support act for his solo shows with his High Flying Birds after he was ousted from the ‘Club Foot’ band after he assaulted his now-spouse, Vikki Ager.
Liam fumed: “Meanwhile, [these days] he’s out on tour with [ex-Kasabian frontman] Tom Meighan, who’s allegedly, apparently …
“And yet you won’t get back in a band with me because I’m a [redacted]’?! Eh, chill out, mate.”
Liam says Noel not only destroyed his life but those behind the scenes who lost their jobs when he “pulled the plug” on the ‘Wonderwall’ group.
He went on: “[It was an] absolute nightmare … I was sitting at home with no management, no office, and no one to really speak to, while Noel was still walking into his big management office having everyone running around after him, getting smart and dissing people.
“Looking back with hindsight, you can go: ‘You’re a big boy’ and all that, but when you’ve had all that stuff for 20 years … I could barely tie my shoelace let alone run my business or my life. All that support was taken away, but little Noely G had it all still there.”
He added: “If you want to do your little thing because you’re not getting enough attention, feel free, mate. I’ll go to Barbados and sit on a beach for six months, but don’t be pulling the plug on the band. That’s the way I saw it … ”
