‘Bea’s my big sister; I talk to her about everything…’ Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice share parenting tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice swap parenting tips “all the time”.
Gallery director Eugenie posted on Instagram last week to congratulate her older sister Beatrice – who has Sienna, three, and stepson Wolfie, eight, with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi – on her pregnancy news but admitted she’d consulted her sibling first on what to write as they always share their experiences.
Eugenie – who has sons August, three, and Ernest, 16 months, with husband Jack Brooksbank – noted she and her sibling turn to each other for advice “all the time” and she feels very lucky to be able to do so.
She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “I ring her a lot about meltdowns.
“When I was Instagramming that photo, I rang her and I was like, ‘What do you want me to say?’ Because I always want to ask, just in case.
“And she said, ‘Can’t wait to talk about the trials and tribulations of motherhood.’
“I posted about our mothering journey because it really is as if you become part of a club – a mothering club.
“When your children are the same age and going through the same things, it’s the luckiest thing in the world.
“And Bea’s my big sister; I talk to her about everything.”
Eugenie – whose grandmother was the late Queen Elizabeth – hasn’t yet told her sons they have a new cousin on the way.
She said: “I haven’t got that far yet. I think Augie will see her tummy growing and realise, but they don’t get it just yet.”
The princess’ mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, is “so happy” to be a grandmother again and Eugenie loves to see her pride in her family.
She said: “Mum’s funny because she loves her grandchildren so much but you can see this pride for her two daughters.
“She’s like, ‘My babies!’
“When you become a granny, you have the pride for the baby and your baby, she’s got a double whammy there.”

Kate Winslet hopes war photographer Lee Miller stays in her heart forever

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet hopes playing Lee Miller stays with her forever.
The 49-year-old actress – who has Mia, 24, and Joe, 20, from previous marriages and 10-year-old Bear with husband Edward Abel Smith – stars as the war photographer in new movie ‘Lee’ and she found the former Vogue cover model a “hugely inspiring” figure.
She told Britain’s HELLO! Magazine: “There are things about her that are in me and I hope will always be in me now, because she was so inspiring, with her ability to live life with resilience, compassion and power, redefining femininity 80 years ago.
“That’s how I will always want to live my life.
“That’s how I am with my friend and that’s how we’re raising our daughters – to have your eyes wide open and not judge people and always have kindness.”
Kate was keen to make a film about Lee – who died in 1977 aged 70 – that “lifted her out of the male gaze” because she felt frustrated about the ways in which the photographer had been discussed in the past.
She explained: “I wanted to make a film that lifted Lee out of the male gaze, because, when I first researched her in 2015, she was described as the ex-lover and muse of Man Ray and a former Vogue cover girl – belittling, infantilising labels that had been stuck on her.
“It just wasn’t ok with me because that was a little moment in her 20s and she didn’t even like being a model, she was already taking photographs.”
The Oscar-winning star believes Lee was driven by being a survivor of childhood sexual abuse.
She said: “Lee as so comfortable in her own skin. Given that she had experienced such trauma as a child, she could have hated men but somehow she didn’t. She would not let that define her.
“She lived life at full throttle and paid the price, because the PTSD hurt her for the rest of her life, until she reinvented herself as a cordon bleu chef in her 60s. She had many lives.”

Kathy Bates cried ‘tears’ of joy when she realised just how much weight she had lost

OHMYGOSSIP — Kathy Bates cried tears of joy when she realised just how much weight she had lost.
The 76-year-old actress has lost more than 100lbs over the course of the last seven years and after realising she was able to shop designer clothes again, she quickly became emotional when she tried on a Giorgio Armani number for the Emmy Awards.
She told People: “We [me and my friend] were in tears because everything I came out in just looked exquisite. The pictures on the red carpet were so different from any pictures I’d ever had taken on a red carpet.
“I just felt so relaxed and ready.”
The ‘Misery’ actress felt “great” and was aware of just how good she looked in the designer dress as she reflected on the “lovely” night she had at the annual awards ceremony.
She said: “I knew I felt great, and I looked great. We had a wonderful little skit with Antony [Starr] and Giancarlo [Esposito]. It was a lovely night. That evening was really special.”
The Oscar-winning star recently addressed rumours that she had turned to Ozempic – the brand name of the controversial weight loss drug Semiglutide – to slim down, but insisted that she only took the jab to tackle the last 20 lbs.
She said: “There’s been a lot of talk that I just was able to do this because of Ozempic.
“But I have to impress upon people out there that this was hard work for me, especially during the pandemic.
“It’s very hard to say you’ve had enough.”
The ‘Matlock’ star admitted being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2017 was a wake-up call to managing her weight and looking after her health.
She said: “I ate because I was afraid, and I ate because it was a FU to my self-esteem.
“[Diabetes] runs in my family, and I’d seen what my father had gone through. He had had a leg amputation. One of my sisters is dealing with it very seriously, and it terrified me. It scared me straight.”
Kathy started with small changes, such as taking advice from her niece to listen to her body.
She said: “When we’re full, we experience an involuntary sigh. I just pushed the plate away.”

Lily Collins admits she has ‘always felt more British than American’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Collins has always “felt more British than American”.
The 35-year-old actress is the daughter of English musician Phil Collins, 73, and his American ex-wife Jill Tavelman but insisted that even though she is “half and half”, she has always felt more in tune with her paternal heritage, although she experienced some confusion when she took on title role of ‘Emily In Paris’, which follows a young woman who moves from the US to France.
She told The Sunday Telegraph: “I am half and half, but I’ve always felt more British than American. I have played the most American character for five years now.
“And that was interesting, because I grew up learning French, speaking it, dreaming in it… But then I’m playing a character who is supposed to not understand it, is very American, does not feel comfortable in Europe. And so that at first was a bit ‘What? But I do! Playing Emily makes me feel more American!”
Meanwhile, Lily is now making her theatrical debut in ‘Barcelona’ – which follows the catastrophic aftermath of a one night stand between an American and a Spaniard – at the Duke of York Theatre in London’s West End admitted that she just wanted to follow in the footsteps of her father by treading the boards one day, even though she is “terrified” by the prospect.
She said: “I’ve never done this. I’m so excited, but I’m also terrified – in the best way – and I want you to know that there are going to be moments when I’m stressed, I’m anxious, I’m nervous, I’m gonna doubt myself.
“I did theatre as a kid, so it was in me already. I knew I wanted to do it. The West End was the thing in my head; my dad had done it. I grew up going to shows in the West End. I just loved it so much.”

Liam Gallagher postpones wedding to manager Debbie Gwyther for a THIRD time amid Oasis reunion

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Gallagher has reportedly postponed his wedding to Debbie Gwyther for a third time.
The 52-year-old singer has been engaged to music manager Debbie, 40, since 2019 but amid his Oasis reunion with brother Noel, 57, for a massive stadium tour next year, insiders have claimed that plans for the nuptials have been put on pause for now.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Biz on Sunday column: “Liam and Debbie are super committed, so aren’t in any rush. They’d rather wait until the Oasis dates are out the way and do a family affair.”
The ‘Wonderwall’ hitmakers hadn’t spoken since Oasis split in 2009 over to the tensions between them but the insider also claimed that the once-warring brothers will be on “brilliant terms” by the time the wedding ceremony does come around, so he could even ask his sibling to be take on the honour of best man.
The source said: “Liam is hopeful he and Noel will be on brilliant terms by then, so he’ll be front and centre and even his best man. He loves the idea of surprising everyone and getting them all talking about. Liam and Noel have been talking regularly on the phone, it’s easier than meeting up as it would attract so much attention they wouldn’t be able to get any planning done,”
Liam was initially married to singer Patsy Kensit and has son Lennon, 25, with her as well as Gene, 23, with his second wife Nicole Appleton.
The rock star also has Molly, 26, and Gemma, 11, from previousmrelationships.

Trevor Noah reveals the ‘worst advice’ he was given as a child

OHMYGOSSIP — Trevor Noah felt “imprisoned” after trying to fit in.
The 40-year-old comedian admitted that when he was a child, the “worst advice” he was given was to try to follow the crowd and these days, he would advise all young people to be true to themselves as much as possible.
He told The Observer: “I think the worst advice was that you have to try to fit in. You’d meet somebody you don’t get along with and you’d be told: ‘Just tolerate it for now.’
“It’s only in later life that you realise that a prison comes with not being yourself around the people you wish to build a life with.
“So that was probably the worst advice I got as a kid: people telling me to suck it up so that I could maintain connections with other people in my life. The advice I would give a kid today would be: ‘Be yourself as much as you can.’ Some people you’ll lose along the way, but the ones you keep will know the real you.”
The former ‘Daily Show’ host has now written his first children’s book, titled ‘Into the Uncut Grass’, but has previously credited his mother Patricia as a major influence in his other work and noted that using her in fiction allowed him to “understand” why he loves her so much.
He said: “One of the biggest positive effects is that it’s forced me in a very active way to think about why I appreciate my mother, and to see her as a human being and not just as a mother.
“We never really spend time thinking of our parents as human beings because we are tied to them. It helped me understand why I love my mother beyond because you’re supposed to. When you write about somebody, you get to understand all the shades and layers that make them who they are to you.”

Al Pacino hoped nearly breaking ankle on set of ‘The Godfather’ would get him out of starring in movie

OHMYGOSSIP — Al Pacino hoped nearly breaking his ankle on the set of ‘The Godfather’ was his escape route out of starring in the film.
The Hollywood veteran, 84, was nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar for his portrayal of soldier turned mafia don Michael in director Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972’s operatic Cosa Nostra epic, but he has now revealed he felt such pressure in the job he was desperate for a way out of the role.
He told CBS News he twisted his ankle so badly he thought it had shattered while filming the famous scene where he flees Louis’ restaurant after gunning down a rival mobster and corrupt cop Capt McCluskey.
Al said his first thought as he lay on the ground in agony was: “Thank you, God. I’m gonna get out of this film!”
The actor gave the CBS chat to promote his new memoir ‘Sonny Boy’, in which he tells how he felt extreme pressure over taking the role of Michael Corleone in ‘The Godfather’ way before cameras started rolling.
He says in his autobiography about how the studio behind the movie never wanted him for the part: “Paramount didn’t want me to play Michael Corleone They wanted Jack Nicholson They wanted Robert Redford They wanted Warren Beatty or Ryan O’Neal.
“In the book, (Mario) Puzo had Michael calling himself ‘the sissy of the Corleone family’.
“He was supposed to be small, dark-haired, handsome in a delicate way, no visible threat to anybody.
“That didn’t sound like the guys that the studio wanted. But that didn’t mean it had to be me.”
Al added he ended up getting the role after a drunken flight to screentest for the role that would make his career.
He said: “(I was told) I would have to screentest for the role, which I had never done before, and that I would have to fly out to the west coast to do it, which I just didn’t want to do.
“I did not care that it was ‘The Godfather’ – I was a bit afraid of flying and I didn’t want to go to California.
“But my manager, Marty Bregman , said to me, ‘You’re getting on that f****** plane’
“He brought me a pint of whiskey so I could drink it on the flight, and I got there.”

The Times added steps taken to support Charles abroad are “the same as arrangements put in place for the late Queen”.
They will also apparently include travelling with a supply of the king’s blood to ensure a match if a transfusion was needed, it said.
In Australia, Charles’ itinerary will include a rest day and there will be no evening engagements.

SpongeBob star Tom Kenny addresses ‘hilarious’ rumours he is dating Ariana Grande

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Kenny found it “hilarious” when people thought he was dating Ariana Grande.
The 62-year-old voice actor has played the titular role of the cartoon character in ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ since 1999 but when pop megastar Ariana, 31, struck up a relationship with Ethan Slater at a time when he was starring in the Broadway musical adaptation of the Nickelodeon series, it led to some confusion amongst fans.
He told E! News: “That was hilarious. It said ‘SpongeBob actor dating Ariana Grande.’ And people were like, ‘Wow, Tom Kenny, he’s a player’.”
The former ‘Futurama’ actor – who is married to Jill Talley – joked that he and the ‘Into You’ hitmaker had been “trying to keep a lid” on their affair for so long and that they eventually became a “throuple” in the end, until his wife clarified that he is “not dating” the pop star.

That was crazy and he was able to do that because he’s a very athletic person. He can sing and he’s very athletic.”

Christina Hall’s estranged husband attempts to block house sale

OHMYGOSSIP — Christina Hall’s estranged husband Josh Hall is attempting to block the sale of their $4.5 million home after she accused him of “stealing”.
The pair split over the summer after three years of marriage and filed for divorce in July and now the split has turned nasty with Josh’s lawyers filing a temporary emergency order to stop the sale of their home in Franklin, Tennessee after Christina put it on the market earlier this month.
According to DailyMail.com, Christina – who bought the home before she married Josh – allowed him to live in the property during September while it was unoccupied but he has since relocated.
The report states Christina asked Josh for written agreement to sell the home, but which he denied, and he claims to have presented her with a global settlement offer to end the dispute over the house but the reality star is said to have rejected the proposal on September 30 and then went on to put the house on the market.
Josh is said to have learned about the listing from social media and his legal documents suggest he’s now being stung financially after moving to Tennessee to be with his wife.
According to the publication, Josh states in the paperwork: “My relocation to Tennessee was significantly influenced by our aforementioned Stipulation allowing me to enjoy this property throughout our separation.
“I will now suffer prejudice because my living expenses will undoubtedly increase … She is enjoying our community residenc. She is in control of our entire marital estate. She has cut me out of our businesses post-separation, impacting my earnings.
“Christina has continued to maintain the marital status quo while I have endured significant changes, to my detriment.”
It comes after the pair aired their grievances about their split in posts on social media.
Joshua shared on his Instagram Story: “Cutting people off and letting them live with whatever delusional story suits them best, is top tier.”
Hours later, Christina – who has three children from previous relationships – wrote on her own Story: “Remember when you said you never steal from me or my kids and you would just be happy in a van with your dog.
“I guess plans changed. All about trying to take everything you can. With your mind on my money and my money on your mind ”
Josh’s representative branded his estranged wife’s claims “false” and “libellous”. They told People magazine in a statement: “Josh has said repeatedly that he wants to handle the divorce like an adult – in the courts, not in social media and the tabloids.
“Over and over again, Christina has insisted otherwise, creating public spectacles, but Josh has still stayed quiet. But now Christina is defaming him. “These are false, libellous claims. Josh hasn’t stolen a penny from her or her family. This is a red line, and Christina has crossed it.
“Instead of repeating Christina’s false statement, the media should ask why Christina keeps insisting on handling this matter in public instead of through the law.”

Scooter Braun wants to ‘move on’ from Taylor Swift feud

OHMYGOSSIP — Scooter Braun thinks it is time people moved on from his feud with Taylor Swift.
The 43-year-old former music manager famously fell out with the pop superstar after he acquired the rights to her master recordings when he bought her old record label Big Machine, and allegedly slapped her with restrictions on performing her hits live before he sold the rights on to the private equity company Shamrock Holdings.
And while Scooter watched the recent two-part documentary series, ‘Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood’, he felt “a lot of things were misrepresented” in the Max programme.
Speaking at the Bloomberg Screentime event in Los Angeles on Thursday (11.10.24), Deadline reports he said: “I watched it recently.
“I wasn’t going to watch it because I just thought it was going to be, like, another hit piece. And I pretty much stayed quiet about this kind of stuff. And my dad called me and my mom, and they were like, we just watched it. We think you should watch it. So I did…
“Look, it’s five years later. I think, everyone, it’s time to move on.”
After the HYBE America CEO sold the masters on in 2020, Taylor shared a letter with fans on X in which she alleged the rights had been “sold without [her] knowledge” for a second time and Shamrock Holdings had told her they couldn’t inform her of the deal before it was complete or it would be cancelled by Scooter.
But now, Scooter hit out at Taylor for going to social media and not speaking with him directly.
He said: “I think that it’s important in any kind of conflict that people actually communicate directly with each other. I think doing it out on social media and in front of the whole world is not the place.
“And I think when people actually take the time to stand in front of each other have a conversation, they usually find out the monster’s not real, and that hasn’t happened. And that has not happened.”
However, the businessman then praised the ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker when asked which artist he would love to build a company around.
He said: “I’m going to give you the soundbite you’re looking for, because I just can’t help myself. The PR team is going to be like, ‘What?’
“I think the artist that’s one that you should always bet on, and is already a huge star, and you can always bet on because they want it all the time, and they do what it takes to be, you know, present all the time. is Taylor Swift.”
