Hayley Williams recalls physical symptoms of depression

OHMYGOSSIP — Hayley Williams has opened up on the physical symptoms she experienced when battling depression.
The Paramore frontwoman marked World Mental Health Day on Thursday (10.10.24) with a candid post detailing how she had initially had her “frustrating health issues” attributed to chronic fatigue, but was eventually diagnosed with depression and PTSD.
She wrote in a statement shared via her hair dye company Good Dye Young: “In 2018, after years of struggling with my mind and some frustrating health issues, I finally got diagnosed with depression and a specific kind of PTSD.
“Admittedly, l’d been very ignorant about mental illness and just how all-consuming it can be. I didn’t realize it could affect your physical wellbeing too.
“I’d been told prior by my doctor that I had chronic fatigue.
“Still, I didn’t appreciate how interconnected my mind and body really were. This kind of fatigue is becoming more and more common, by the way. It can seem pretty impossible to thrive, holistically, in the modern world. (sic)”
The ‘Still Into You’ hitmaker is grateful for her medical team.
She added: “If I didn’t have access to mental health professionals and functional doctors.
“I may have never learned these things and continued to struggle on my own, without answers. I hate thinking about how many people are stuck without answers or any tangible help.”
Hayley, 35, encouraged others in a similar situation to look for “small wins” before directing them to help through organisations such as Inclusive Therapists, Therapy for Black Girls, and The Trevor Project.
She wrote: “Obviously there are little things we can do in the day to day to cheer ourselves up or give ourselves space to really express how we feel and who we are. Small wins do help.
“I’ve always turned to music, dying/changing my hair, some form of community… but sometimes you just need more support than these things can give.
There are really good people doing incredible work to make a path to mental wellness more equitable and efficient and I’d love to highlight a few, so that if you feel drawn to any of them, you can reach out.(sic)”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hates prison food

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs hates prison food.
The 54-year-old rapper was arrested in New York last month and he remains behind bars as he awaits trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges after being denied bail and now his lawyer has confirmed the star’s biggest issue with being in jail is the meals.
According to PEOPLE.com, Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo told reporters: “I think the food’s probably the roughest part of it [for him].”
He added: “Sometimes, the more you push a person down, the stronger they get. Nobody’s OK with staying in jail.”
The publication reports inmates at the jail start their day at 6am with a breakfast of cereal, fruit and a breakfast cake and lunch is served at 11am which options including hamburgers, baked fish or beef tacos, with scrambled eggs and biscuits being added at weekends.
Dinner is at 4pm with menu choices featuring chicken fajitas, pasta and roast beef as well as vegetarian dishes such as lentils, tofu and baked beans.
Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was denied $50 million bail and is currently being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center but his legal team have filed another appeal in a bid to get him released ahead of the trial, which has been set for May 2025.
Combs was back in court in New York on Thursday (10.10.24) for a pretrial hearing during which Judge Arun Subramanian set the trial date of May 5 2025.
The star – who is dad to Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, 26, Chance, 18, twins D’Lila and Jessie, 17, and 23-month-old Love Sean from previous relationships – is believed to have been seen waving to his loved ones in the court room and hugging his attorneys.
Several of Diddy’s children were present for the hearing as well as his mother Janice, 84, who flew in from Florida.
A source tells PEOPLE: “The kids were very happy to support their father. The whole family was. They are united in their support and he was happy to see them all there.”

Elle King has forgiven her dad Rob Schneider for relationship they had when she was a child

OHMYGOSSIP — Elle King has forgiven her dad Rob Schneider for the relationship they had when she was a child.
The 35-year-old singer recently told how the comic had sent her to “fat camp” as a child, forgot her birthdays, and was often absent, as well as sharing different views on LGBTQ+ issues, prompting her dad to issue a public apology in an interview with talk show host Tucker Carlson.
And now the ‘Ex’s and Oh’s’ hitmaker has explained she has forgiven her dad and wants to move forward from any family drama.
She told TMZ: “I already forgave my dad a really long time ago and I’m just focusing on being a mum and being happy.”
Previously, Elle – who has three-year-old son Lucky with fiance Dan Tooker and is pregnant with their second child – insisted she wasn’t “trying to hurt” her father with her comments about her childhood.
She told People magazine: “I never in a million years thought that that was going to go viral. I was just speaking about my childhood and about my truth. I was not trying to hurt him.”
However Elle didn’t regret speaking out and her dad’s public apology “means nothing” because of the outlet he chose.
She said: “A lot of people said, ‘How could she say that about her family?’ and ‘Everything needs to be behind closed doors.’ No, it doesn’t. Sometimes you have to just say things and get them off your chest so that you don’t have to carry it for the rest of your life.
“But ultimately, I think an apology on Tucker Carlson is like a double negative, right? Means nothing.”
And Elle did find a bright spot in the public discussion.
She added: “What I will say is the best thing that came from that is that my incredible LGBTQ+ community knows that they have an ally in me.
“And if that’s the biggest thing to come out of that platform, then I would’ve done it 10 more f****** times because I am an ally, they have one in me, and I’m grateful.”

Hugh Jackman appeals for help finding missing Broadway star

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Jackman has appealed for help finding missing Broadway dancer Zelig Williams.
The Hollywood actor has joined the search for the 28-year-old ‘Hamilton’ star after he vanished in South Carolina on October 3 urging anyone with any information to come forward and telling his followers to share the message in a bid to find the stage performer.
Sharing a picture of Williams on his Instagram page, Jackman wrote: “Please … if anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Zelig Williams please reach out to your local authorities. Zelig we love you and are praying for your safe return.’
Jackman then added: “Please pass this message on!!!”
Williams – who appeared in ‘Hamilton’ and ‘MJ The Musical’ – previously worked with Jackman on his ‘The Man. The Music. The Show.’ world tour in 2019.
He recently moved back from New York and had been working as a dance teacher in his home town in South Carolina. Williams was last seen on October 3 by his mother Kathy at her home in Columbia.
His worried family later filed a missing persons report and officials went on to find the Broadway star’s car in a parking lot close to the Palmetto Trail hiking route close to Congaree National Park.
Officials have mounted a search using helicopters, boats and drones
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott told Wistv.com: “We’ve searched on foot in the air of various locations. Other investigative techniques that we will use involving cell phones and some other things that I don’t want to discuss at this point.”
Lott added that Williams is in need of prescription medication.
Williams’ cousin Mieoki Corbin-Jacobs added to the outlet: “We can’t describe it, its devastation. It’s devastation for someone who is so close to his family to just disappear like that … there’s no way to describe it.”

Prince Harry fears smartphones are ‘stealing young people’s childhood’

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Harry believes smartphones are “stealing young people’s childhood”.
The Duke of Sussex marked World Mental Health Day on Thursday (10.10.24) by holding a discussion with Jonathan Haidt, a social psychologist who wrote ‘The Anxious Generation’, to examine social media and technology’s impact on the younger generation.
In a video shared with Fortune Well, as part of his Archewell Insight sessions, Harry said: “In many cases, the smartphone is stealing young people’s childhood.”
The author agreed, noting those born after 1995 hit puberty with high rates of anxiety and depression and added: “Young people trade in their flip phones for smartphones, and now with a front-facing camera, high-speed internet, a million apps that are competing with each other to hook kids’ attention.
“So, the ‘anxious generation’ is helping us understand the incredible destructive force of this transformation of childhood … and what we can do now to stop that from happening and to help those who already have been through it.”
Jonathan advocates for no social media before 16 and no smart phones before high school.
Harry noted: “It’s very easy for social media companies to point the finger at parents and say, ‘Well, you know, this is down to you. This is down to your parenting.’”
But Jonathan argued: “If there were some parents who were getting this wrong and most parents were getting it right, then I’d be very receptive to that argument.
“But once kids get a phone and social media, the rest of family life turns into a fight over screen time. And this is happening everywhere.”
The prince – who has Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three, with wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex – sees the devices as a “double edged sword” because he recognises that some parents buy them for their children to help keep them safe.
He said: “It’s a double edged sword. They want them to have their phone at school in case of emergency, but once, like any kid, you have your phone, even if you’re told you’re not allowed to download that app, kids have a way of working around it.”
Jonathan argued: “If you want to give your kid a phone, so if anything goes wrong they can call you, great. Give them a phone. Just don’t give them a supercomputer connected to everyone in the world… They don’t need that.”
Harry then raised the idea of social media having a positive element to offer an “outlet” to children who don’t feel able to speak out.
He said: “Social media, we know, to a large extent, is giving an outlet, an added resource, to kids that perhaps don’t feel comfortable coming to us to talk about their issues and their troubles and their worries.
“Kids online will be feeling more connected with complete strangers on social media. So how do you, if you’re a parent, know that your kid is getting good out of social media?”
The psychologist insisted it is “just not true” that “social media is a lifeline for LGBTQ kids, for kids from marginalised communities”.
He said: “The internet solved all these problems in the ’90s. If you’re a gay kid, you’re not out to anyone in a rural part of America or England, the internet was amazing. You could find information, you could find people like you, and you could communicate.
“[But with social media] it’s no longer even about just me connecting to you.
“It’s now about an algorithm-driven news feed that sends content to you. This is not what they need. If you have any special interest, you can find that with Google. You don’t need an algorithm to feed you stuff.”

Tik Tok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s cause of death revealed

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Rousseau Grigg died from complications related to asthma and Addison’s disease.
The 25-year-old influencer’s husband Cameron Grigg revealed earlier this month that the TikTok star had died on 4 October, and now representatives for her family have revealed to Today.com the cause of her passing.
And a source told People magazine that Taylor had suffered a severe asthma attack and resulting complications that led to her death.
Addison’s disease, also called adrenal insufficiency, is a chronic condition that occurs when the body doesn’t produce enough of certain hormones.
The blonde beauty had explained in August she had been suffering with undisclosed health issues, reflecting on how she was once “very athletic” but was now “not healthy and in good shape” and hadn’t been “in a long time.”
Taylor told her 1.4 million followers she had “got sick” after she and her husband married in August 2023.
And a few months before, she revealed she had been given a “forever diagnosis.”
She said: “You’re seeing me be sick for the whole time that we’re married and not finding out what was wrong until this year … I barely found out what was wrong with me. I was struggling that whole time feeling like I was going to die.
“It just sucks because I’m 24 years old, I should be in my prime, I should be able to carry my suitcase up the stairs, I should be able to walk to the mailbox, or run, and those are just things that I can’t really do right now.”
Cameron announced his wife’s “sudden and unexpected” death the day after her passing.
He shared photos of himself and his wife and wrote: “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.
“This past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that, she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her.
“She is the most brave and strong woman I know, and her confidence in the Lord outweighed every other circumstance she’s faced, even in her darkest hours. I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there.”

Anna Kendrick had ‘uncomfortable’ experiences on set

OHMYGOSSIP — Anna Kendrick was pressured to agree to nude scenes as a teenage actress.
The 39-year-old star can next be seen as aspiring actress Cheryl Bradshaw in ‘Woman of the Hour’, which she has also directed, and she admitted a scene where her alter ego is asked to appear naked was “lifted verbatim” from her own experiences.
In the scene, Cheryl says “not for me” when asked if she would be willing to bare all, prompting a male casting director to gesture towards her breasts and say: “Oh, I’m sure they’re fine.”‘.
Anna grew emotional as she told The Guardian newspaper: “That is lifted verbatim from something that happened to me when I was 19. Oh boy…
“I’ve, um … I’ve had experiences where I found out there was a wardrobe change that the costume designer had been cagey about, likely because she felt her hands were tied. It’s like you can’t get to the bottom of it: ‘Wait – sorry – um, why would I be in a bathing suit in this scene?’ ”
The ‘Pitch Perfect’ star was quick to stress her experiences are less common these days.
She added: “But I’m grateful that this happens a lot less now. And when you say you’re uncomfortable, there’s more of a culture of being taken seriously.”
Anna previously revealed she had spent five years in a coercive relationship and she’s admitted she still has “good days and bad days” in recovering from the abuse she experienced.
Asked how she feels now, she said: “I have good days and bad days. But it’s more accurate to call them good months and bad months.
“If you’d asked me three years ago, I would have said there was something almost embarrassing about that. Like: ‘Aren’t you over it by now?’
“But I guess I feel a lot grosser saying, ‘I’m doing great.’
“If we speak in another five years, please God tell me I’m not still struggling then, you know? I don’t know how much of that feeling is based in my pure desire to feel OK versus: ‘That’ll mean I’m such a weakling.’ It’s all still swirling around in there somewhere.
“[My therapist] says: ‘Grief has tentacles.’ Meaning that whenever there’s some minor challenging event in the present, it reaches back to more challenging things in the past. Sometimes I feel this specific event in my life is with me all the time and I wish I could just put it away.”

Jessie J’s home in Los Angeles has been robbed

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessie J’s home has been burgled.
The 36-year-old pop star returned to her house in Los Angeles earlier this week to find that intruders had got inside and over $20,000 worth of jewellery had been taken.
As reported by TMZ, Los Angeles Police responded to the incident and it is believed that the burglars smashed a back window to gain entry to the house.
The Los Angeles Police Department told TMZ that no arrests have been made yet and the case is ongoing.
This news comes after ‘Overboard’ actress Goldie Hawn’s home in Los Angeles was robbed twice in four months and ‘Forrest Gump’ star Tom Hanks and his wife’s Rita Wilson’s home in LA was burgled in August.
Previously, Jessie took to her Instagram to share that she has been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive-disorder (OCD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
The ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker revealed the news on social media in which she explained she sought medical help after welcoming her first child – son Sky – last year “exposed” a lot of her symptoms.
Jessie wrote: “Hello. I was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD about three months ago. In telling people a lot of the reaction I got was, ‘Yeah I mean we knew that’ (which I’m sure some of you are doing right now) and of course I knew to some extent but having a baby has let’s say … exposed it a lot more, which was comforting in a way, as it made it feel less heavy and scary.
“But also in moments has made me feel like I can’t talk about it. F*** that. Here I am talking about it.”
Jessie went on to tell her followers she has felt ” a little different” her whole life and her diagnosis has allowed her to rethink the way she deals with her personal and professional issues.

‘I could part of my finger off’: Harrison Ford’s culinary career was short lived

OHMYGOSSIP — Harrison Ford lost his job as a chef when he “cut part of [his] finger off”.
The 82-year-old actor could have had a very different career path but his work in professional kitchens was cut short when it was quickly discovered he had lied about his experience.
The ‘Shrinking’ star noted on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ he’d worked as a chef “for relatively short periods of time, until they found out about me and fired me.”
He added: “My first job was, I cooked at a hospital. I don’t know what I told them but they gave me a knife and a bunch of carrots, and I cut this part of my finger off within minutes.
“But the sew-your-finger-back-on department was right down the hall, and right after that was where they fire you for lying about [knowing how to cook].”
The ‘Star Wars’ star also had another culinary job but it wasn’t too taxing.
He said: “I was working on a yacht that was owned by the youngest bank president in Chicago at the time. He had a yacht and a boutonnière and he was a nice guy, but he didn’t know much about cooking.
“But he was heir to the Swift meatpacking factory, so all I had to do was buy really expensive beef.”
Harrison – who has Ben, 58, Willard, 55, Malcolm, 37, and Georgia, 34, from his previous marriages and Liam, 23, with wife Calista Flockhart – recently insisted he “loves” being older.
Reflecting on the de-aging technology used in ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’, he told Reader’s Digest UK: “I know that that is my face, it’s not kind of photoshopped magic; that’s what I actually looked like 35 years ago – because Lucas Film has every frame of film that we’ve made together over all of these years.
“And this process, this scientific mining of the library, was put to good use. But it’s just a trick unless it’s supported by a good story. And it sticks out like a sore thumb if it’s not real-I’m not talking about visually, I mean emotionally real. And so l think it was used very skillfully and assiduously. I’m very happy with it.
“But I don’t look back and say, ‘I wish I was that guy again’ -because I don’t.
“I’m real happy with age. I love being older.
“It was great to be young, but sh**fire, I could be dead!
And I’m still working. So, go figure.”

George Lopez quits stand-up comedy

OHMYGOSSIP — George Lopez is giving up stand-up comedy.
The 63-year-old star’s upcoming Prime Video special, which was filmed on 27 and 28 September at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, will be the last chance for fans to see him on stage as he’s ready to call it a day.
Speaking on ‘The Tamron Hall Show’, he said: “It is the last one. I’ve subjected the American people to enough of my c***.
“It seems like the right time; it’s been the one thing that has just never left me my whole life and it’s a wonderful place to leave it at this particular point.”
George is keen to spend more time with his daughter Mayan Lopez, who he co-created and stars with in NBC comedy series ‘Lopez vs Lopez’.
He said: “I love the show.”
George’s decision comes months after he ended a stand-up show early, citing an “unruly crowd”.
The ‘Spy Next Door’ star was criticised by Eagle Mountain Casino in California for having “let down his fans and sold out audience by walking out and ending his show 30 minutes early” back in June.
His representative hit back in a statement: “It’s the venue or casino’s job to provide a good experience for both the artist and the fans, but the casino failed in this regard.
“The audience was overserved and unruly, and the casino staff was unable to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the artist and guests. George’s personal security team worked with the venue security staff to maintain order, ensure safety, and eject disruptive individuals.
“Unfortunately, the casino security team was not adequate to accomplish this task. George is not obligated to perform in an unsafe environment. He feels badly that those who came to see the show were unable to do so as a result.”
But the casino then disputed George’s statement.
A spokesperson said: “Lopez’s statement providing reason for exiting the show abruptly after not saying anything to casino management or security, came as a shock to everyone including casino management. The claims of unruly guests are not consistent with casino footage and surveillance.
“Casino security and Lopez security team worked together to make sure there was no filming with phones as requested by Lopez. It was the job of Lopez’s private security team to inform casino security if they wanted to escort anyone out which never occurred. Under the casinos discretion no guests were unruly or providing an unsafe environment.
“Mr. Lopez or his private security had every opportunity to inform casino team if they wanted a guest escorted out and they did not. The two prior openers, also comedians, did not have any concerns or issues, so this was quite a shock to everyone attending.”

James Blunt has never been ‘cool’ enough for music industry

OHMYGOSSIP — James Blunt doesn’t think he’s ever been “cool” enough for the music industry.
The 50-year-old singer believes his experiences at boarding school and the army prepared him well for life on tour, but when it comes to recording and releasing music, he doesn’t think he’s ever been particularly “well-equipped”.
He told The Times newspaper: “My tour manager is just like a sergeant major, my crew are like the non-commissioned officers, the grafters. Then there’s the vacant officer saying, ‘Come on chaps, let’s go here.’
“And then the tour manager says, ‘All right, sir. How exactly are we going to do that?’ He’s the one who has to make sense of the bad ideas and make them all work.
“With [the music industry], it’s all about worrying about what you’re going to write, whether it’s going to turn out well or badly, whether it’s going to sell. There’s something about Liam and Noel Gallagher that means they are very well-equipped for the industry.
“And there’s something about my upbringing that means I’m not. They’re just cooler people, aren’t they?”
Despite the huge success of James’ breakthrough single ‘You’re Beautiful’, the singer faced a huge amount of ridicule which left him in “shock” and he wishes he’d had a six-month grace period to enjoy his success without criticism.
He reflected: “Very quickly, very, very quickly, came the negativity from the media, and of course that hit hard. I was in shock. I didn’t expect the vitriol to be quite so personal.
“You know: ‘It’s just a song — if you don’t like it, turn it off!’ I’d just started to really enjoy myself and it felt like the attacks came a little too quickly.
“In hindsight, I would have said: ‘Hey guys, can I ask a favour? Will you just give me another six months of innocent pleasure before you sweep the rug from under my feet?’ ”
However, the ‘High’ hitmaker also thinks there were benefits to the ridicule.
He said: “In many ways it’s probably a good thing to get a kicking, it’s grounding. Instead of thinking I’m great, I think I’m lucky, which is quite a different thing.”

‘She didn’t even get to attempt her dream…’ Terrifier 3 star Lauren LaVera reveals inspiration behind her acting career

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Terrifier 3’ star Lauren LaVera has revealed it was her grandmother’s death that inspired her to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.
The 30-year-old actress has earned rave reviews for her performance as ‘Final Girl’ Sienna Shaw in Damien Leone’s gory sequel, which sees her heroic character take on the murderous Art the Clown – played by David Howard Thornton – once again.
Before becoming horror’s latest ‘Scream Queen’, Lauren had been working as an optician but it was the passing of her grandmother, who had
told her she had always dreamt of being a dancer and actress, that made Lauren quit her job and try and make it as a big screen star.
In an interview with SwaggerMagazine.com, she said: “I’d say the moment I’m most proud of would be when I first started acting because prior, I had a really great white collar job. I was an optician in the city and was making really good money. But I was really close to my grandmother, and she always wanted to be a dancer and an actor. She never even got a chance to try. And when she was on her deathbed, I remember being with her and thinking, ‘She didn’t even get to attempt her dream.’ So shortly after she passed, I decided I needed to try for her, and I quit my job. I took my first acting class the same night I quit my job, which is so stupid, but I did it, and luckily that was at a casting office. They held classes there, and got to know me, and even before I had an agent, they would bring me in for auditions.
“I’m really grateful to myself for just taking that leap, even though it was a really irresponsible one. I don’t recommend people do it the same way I did it, but I’m proud of the fact that I believed in myself and cared enough about my relationship with my grandmother to try.”
Lauren is proud to have been dubbed a ‘Scream Queen’ but she is unsure if her alter ego Sienna can be considered to be on the same level as original ‘Scream Queen’ Jamie Lee Curtis, who battled psychopath Michael Myers as babysitter Laurie Strode in John Carpenter’s 1978 slasher classic ‘Halloween’ and numerous sequels.
She said: “When people call me that, I do often wonder if I deserve the title because I feel like I haven’t really been doing horror for that long. Of course, I’m so grateful when people refer to me as these wonderful titles, like ‘Final Girl’ or ‘Scream Queen’, and I’m very humbled by it. However, there is always this imposter syndrome – ‘have I done enough?’ Do I deserve this? But the fact that people resonate with Sienna’s character is so incredible. That’s why I started acting – so that people could feel less alone or feel represented.”
Before first playing Sienna in 2022’s ‘Terrifier 2’, Lauren was told by director Leone to watch Curtis in ‘Halloween’ as well as watch ‘Alien’ and ‘Scream’ so she could study ‘Final Girl’ trio Laurie, Ellen Ripley and Sidney Prescott from the respective movies.
She spilled: “Damien gave me great ‘homework’, like watching ‘Alien’ and ‘Halloween’ to study final girls. He saw Sienna as a mix of Ripley (‘Alien’), Laurie (‘Halloween’), and Sydney (‘Scream’), so I watched those films and took notes on characteristics I thought aligned with my character Sienna.”
‘Terrifier 3’ is in cinemas now.

Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole speaks out on ‘hate’ she has received online

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole has received a “level of hate” on social media.
The 32-year-old YouTuber dated NFL player Travis, 35, before he struck up a relationship with pop megastar Taylor Swift, 34, and revealed that while they can’t really acknowledge each other anymore, he is a “great guy” but she has been described as “worthless” by online trolls.
Speaking on the ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast, she said: “We’ve seen each other in public spaces before but it’s — I think that we’re both aware of the nature of his new situation that there’s just no room really for us to communicate or acknowledge each other publicly without it being spun into something crazy.
“I’ll probably hit him with, like, a head nod. That’s about it.”
“He’s a great guy. That was a good time in my life. So many lessons learned, but that’s with every relationship.
“I would be lying if I said that that level of hate and just, like, online chaos doesn’t impact me. It does, even to this day. You can go to my most recent post and it will be people debating each other why I am worthless and I’ll never be a talented person and I have no career.”
The sports broadcaster – who dated Travis on and off for five years until 2022 – noted that the level of fame that Taylor, and now Travis, have managed to attain will attract “crazy people”, and finds the whole thing “unfortunate” because she has never done anything that would warrant negativity towards herself.
She said: “I think that there’s something about that level of fame that attracts crazy people. It’s unfortunate because I’ve never done anything to warrant that kind of backlash.”
Kayla was then asked if she would ever consider dating a celebrity again, and admitted that she would be hesitant to do so because she would want to “protect” her private life.
She said: “I don’t see myself doing that anytime soon. People can’t pick at what they don’t know about. I would just protect my relationships from here on out.”

R. Kelly’s daughter accuses him of abuse: ‘I was too scared to tell anybody…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Buku Abi has alleged that she was abused by R. Kelly.
The 26-year-old singer is the daughter of the ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ hitmaker – who is currently behind bars after he was convicted on multiple charges involving child sexual abuse – and claimed that she was “too scared” to speak out about the way he had allegedly treated her as a child.
Speaking in the new documentary ‘ Karma: A Daughter’s Journey’ – which premiered on Friday (11.10.24) – she said: “He was my everything. For a long time, I didn’t even want to believe that it happened. I didn’t know that even if he was a bad person that he would do something to me.
“I was too scared to tell anybody. I was too scared to tell my mom.
“I really feel like that one millisecond completely just changed my whole life and changed who I was as a person and changed the sparkle I had and the light I used to carry.”
The ‘Dear Daisy’ singer – whose real name is Joann Kelly – admitted that once she did open up to her mother Andrea, she just stopped seeing her father and she “struggled” with that as the years went on.
She said: “After I told my mom, I didn’t go over there anymore; my brother [Robert] and sister [Jaah], we didn’t go over there anymore. And even up until now I struggle with it a lot.”
In the second episode of the documentary series, she claimed that she just “pretended to be asleep” when the alleged abuse was taking place, and eventually filed a complaint as Jane Doe but a prosecution was impossible because she had waited “too long” to report it.
However, the Grammy Award-winning star has been quick to deny all allegations made by his daughter.
In a statement to PEOPLE, Kelly’s attorney Jennifer Bonjean said: “Mr. Kelly vehemently denies these allegations. His ex-wife made the same allegation years ago, and it was investigated by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and was unfounded…. And the ‘filmmakers,’ whoever they are, did not reach out to Mr. Kelly or his team to even allow him to deny these hurtful claims.”
Kelly was previously accused of videoing himself having sex with underage girls, as well as of rigging his 2008 state trial on child porn charges, for which he was acquitted.
In February 2023, Kelly was sentenced in Chicago to 20 years in prison on various charges relating to abuse.
He is currently serving 19 years of his two sentences concurrently, and will not be eligible for release until 2045.

Rihanna reveals surprising Halloween plans: ‘If I can get through that, I’ll have won October…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna has built up the courage to go trick-or-treating.
The 36-year-old pop superstar – who has RZA, two, and 14-month-old Riot with A$AP Rocky – splits her time between Los Angeles and her native Barbados and admitted that she has only just found the “nerve” to carry out the act of asking strangers for candy on Halloween, but also wants to spend the spooky season learning how to bake.
She told E! News: “I built up the nerve to do trick or treating at strangers’ houses. I’m actually going to learn to bake cookies, because I want to make ghost cookies. If I get through that, I’ll feel like I won for October.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker is a big fan of Bravo’s reality franchise ‘The Real Housewives’ – which documents the lives of affluent women throughout the world – and admitted that her favorite iteration is the Utah-based series because she connected with the cast as soon as she started watching.
She said: “Always ‘Salt Lake City’. They had such a swinging opening season that knocked me off my feet. Because it takes a while to get used to or know who the characters are really, truly.
But Rihanna’s most favourite cast member from the whole franchise is Jenna Lyons, who joined ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ during its most recent season.
Asked to name a favourite, she said: “Jenna Lyons. I don’t want to be generalized, but I love her!”
The Fenty Beauty founder previously revealed that reality television had become “pure escapism” for her during the COVID-19 lockdowns and he can’t “get enough” of the genre.
She told Women’s Health UK: “I’ve never made a secret of my love for reality TV and, during lockdown, I’ve been rewatching ‘Vanderpump Rules’
“I honestly can’t get enough of it. … When watching reality TV, I can lie on my couch and switch my mind off from that’s going on. It’s my thing – and it’s pure escapism.”

‘Anything that’s easy to bend down and pick my kids up in…’ Rihanna reveals how motherhood has changed her fashion choices

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna says motherhood has changed the way she dresses.
The 36-year-old singer has two sons, two-year-old RZA and 14-month-old Riot, with A$AP Rocky, and she admits she has ditched more glamourous outfits for cosy clothes so she can parent in comfort.
She told PEOPLE magazine at her Savage X Fenty Lavish Lace Collection Preview at Nordstrom in Los Angeles: “[I wear] Anything that’s cosy, anything that’s stretchy, anything that’s easy to bend down and pick my kids up in. Those are the things I look for.
“Things that don’t scratch me, don’t scratch them. We’ve got a lot of work to do in a day of a life of a mom.”
At the event, the ‘Fenty Beauty’ founder also shared her rules on wearing lingerie as outerwear.
She said: “Lingerie to me should be worn any way and anywhere that you want. Whether you want it to be seen on display outside of T-shirts, inside a jacket falling off, or just to be cosy or just to have a little support.”
She added: “It’s the small things. Take my makeup off at night. These are just little things that mean a lot. It feels like self-care and it feels good.”
A$AP Rocky recently spoke about the couple’s two kids, revealing that RZA has inherited Rihanna’s forehead.
He told W magazine: “I think RZA is going to keep to himself. He’s an introvert.
“Riot’s an extrovert – he’s just like his mom.
“RZA is more so like his dad, like me. And he’s my twin. He got his mom’s forehead, but he got everything else from me.”
Referring to the lyric ‘”Ain’t nothing better than the pretty, big forehead b****” from his 2015 track ‘Jukebox Joints’, he added: “I love my boy’s big forehead! I loved it on his mother. Listen to ‘Jukebox Joints.’ ”
