OHMYGOSSIP — Zayn Malik’s sister says Liam Payne will be “forever 31”.
Waaliyah Malik, 26, had previously said on her Instagram account her famous brother – who forged a close bond with Liam when they were part of One Direction – had been robbed of a “brother” by Liam’s death last month.
As the tragic singer – killed aged 31 in a hotel balcony fall in Argentina – was laid to rest on Wednesday (20.11.24) she posted another moving tribute to the singer on her account.
It showed a montage of snaps of Liam larking around and laughing with Zayn, and Waaliyah captioned it: “Forever 31 (broken heart emoji. Our beloved Liam. (Sad face emoji.)”
Zayn, 31, has postponed his first ever solo tour as he grieves Liam, and he attended his funeral with their other 1D bandmates Harry Styles, 30, and Niall Horan, 31.
Zayn’s sister Waliyha has shared a moving post on social media opening up about his state of mind days before the ceremony –asking fans to give him “respect” as he deals with his emotions over Liam’s sudden passing.
She captioned a black-and-white snap on Instagram showing Liam putting his arm around Zayn and his head resting on his shoulder: “Give respect to Zayn, you don’t know what he’s going through.
“Today is a month since his brother has been gone.”
The post came after Zayn took to his Instagram to reveal gigs he had planned in Edinburgh had been rescheduled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Zayn had been due to kick off his first ever solo tour in San Francisco on October 23, but he also postponed those dates to January in the wake of Liam’s death.
The Edinburgh dates were set to be the first shows of the tour.
They have been moved to December and Zayn’s tour will now begin in Leeds on November 23.
A statement about the postponement said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances ‘Zayn Stairway To The Sky’ Edinburgh show original scheduled for November 20 has been rescheduled for December 8.
“A further date on November 21 at the same O2 Academy Edinburgh venue has been moved to December 9. All tickets for the original show dates will be honoured on the rescheduled dates.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Liam Payne’s “legacy” of kindness has been honoured by one of the planet’s most famous children’s hospitals.
The late singer, 31, whose balcony fall death in October shocked the world, was laid to rest on Wednesday (20.11.24) – with the order of service at the ceremony stating any donations would go to London’s Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital to help build a new cancer treatment facility.
A fundraising page for the world-class facility has now been set up in Liam’s memory, along with a tribute referencing how he spent his final years secretly donating to good causes supporting ill children.
The message on the page echoes the one in the order of service issued at Liam’s funeral, and states: “Your donation today will continue Liam’s legacy by helping to build a brand-new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
“This incredible new facility will help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer.”
It was reported by Mail Online Rev Jonny Rapson, who led Liam’s funeral, told mourners during the private service: “We will continue to hold Liam, his family and his loved ones in our prayers on what must have been a very difficult day.”
Liam was also hailed as the “dad” of One Direction after his final farewell.
A friend told The Sun after his former 1D bandmates Harry Styles, 30, Niall Horan, 31, Zayn Malik, also 31, and Louis Tomlinson, 32, reunited for his funeral: “No one knows what it was like to be in One Direction like these five men.
“They may not have been in contact all the time but the bond they share is unbreakable.
“Liam was the ‘dad’ of the band, always speaking up when the others needed him to.
“Harry, Louis, Zayn and Niall are all now having to navigate a path none of them ever thought they would go down. They were all there yesterday to support Liam’s family and one another.”
The Sun reported a wake was held near Liam’s funeral, where stories and memories were shared about the singer.
A friend added to the publication: “Life will, as it always does, continue.
“But for the people in Liam’s life, the people who loved him, they now face a long road ahead.”
Also at Liam’s funeral were ‘The X Factor’ mogul Simon Cowell, 65, and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl, 41, who was in a relationship with Payne between 2016 and 2018 and has his seven-year-old son Bear.

OHMYGOSSIP — Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger reportedly got in touch with Liam Payne’s devastated family as they were unable to make his funeral.
The ex-Take That singer, 50, and former ‘X Factor’ judge, 46, paid tribute to the late One Direction star after his death on 16 October aged 31 in a hotel balcony fall in Argentina, but were absent from the sea of famous faces who attended his final farewell on Wednesday (20.11.24) at a church in Amersham.
According to The Sun, the pair are among a series of “many” people who reached out to Liam’s heartbroken family with words of comfort as their schedules stopped them coming to say goodbye to the star in person.
The publication said the are “understood to have been in contact with his family and sent flowers”.
Robbie was a mentor to One Direction when the band competed on the 2010 run of Simon Cowell’s ‘X Factor’ and continued a friendship with Liam and the band.
He said in his social tribute to the singer he was hit by “shock, sadness and confusion” over Liam’s death.
Robbie added in a post about meeting 1D: “They were all cheeky and lovely. I enjoyed the light-hearted p***takery and thought about all the times I was that cheeky p***taker with the pop stars that had gone before me when I was in Take That.
“Our paths have crossed ever since that day and I’m fond of them all. Liam’s trials and tribulations were very similar to mine, so it made sense to reach out and offer what I could. So I did.”
Nicole – who texted Liam the day he died – said in an online tribute: “Dear Liam, I will forever cherish and treasure the time we shared together, from 15 years ago when One Direction was born, right up until just a few weeks ago.
“It was such a blessing to get to work with you recently.
“We shared the same love and passion for music and I will forever remember the meaningful and joyful conversations we had.
“It’s been so hard to process that you’re no longer here, but I am grateful to have known your kind heart, sweet soul and character.
“You brought so much joy, light, and laughter to the lives of those that truly knew you. I will ‘miss you’ my friend and carry you in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus’ younger boyfriend looks at life “really differently” from the singer.
The millennial, who turns 32 on 23 November, is thought to have been dating Gen Z’er Maxx Morando, 26, since 2021, and said even though their age gap isn’t massive she still notices a huge chasm between their approaches.
She told Harpers Bazaar: “He looks at life really differently than I do. He grew up with a laptop (and) I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters.
“Honestly, he’s raised our dog off Reddit. I’m like, ‘Are you sure we’re supposed to be doing this?’
“And he’s like, ‘On Reddit it says blah, blah, blah’.”
Miley added she and Liily drummer Maxx spend a lot of time on social media exchanging memes, and stressed he is “very similar” to her as they both “just don’t take life too seriously”.
The singer also said Maxx has introduced her to new artists, and they enjoy listening to songs they think are “cringe” but they “love”.
They are now working together on her upcoming album ‘Something Beautiful’ as Miley has no boundaries when it comes to mixing relationships and work – especially after she spent years working with her 63-year-old musician father Billy Ray Cyrus.
She added: “I worked with my dad forever.”
Referring to her actor former partner Liam Hemsworth, 34, to whom she was married from 2018 to 2020, Miley went on: “That’s how me and my ex-husband met each other.
“I’ve always worked with the people that I love. And Maxx just inspires me so much.”
Maxx supported Miley when she won the Grammy for best pop solo performance in February and days later insiders told People the pair moved in together and were “very happy”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been hit by a fresh sexual assault accusation from an unnamed man.
The shamed rapper, 54, who is currently languishing in a New York jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges, is alleged to have drugged and attacked a male who was aged 39 at the time of the apparent abuse.
According to a complaint filed in a New York federal court and obtained by People, the unidentified plaintiff claims he was drugged by Combs during a party at a home in New York City in 2022.
The plaintiff alleges he attended the gathering with friends and was given a drink that made him lose control of his body before he allegedly blacked out.
After regaining consciousness, the man says he found himself in a “dark bedroom” with “black walls” and on a bed with black sheets.
He added he realised Combs was “on top of him” performing a sex act.
The man says he fought off the rapper and fled to a bathroom before leaving the party.
The latest complaint was one of five filed on Tuesday (19.11.24) which have just come to light.
They are all from clients represented by attorney Tony Buzbee, who has announced that he was representing more than 100 clients who say they were the victims of misconduct by Combs.
The other new filings include one from another man who says Combs raped him in Miami in 2022.
Another is from an 18-year-old woman who alleges she was drugged and made to perform a sex act on Combs and other unnamed men in 2001 while the musician sprayed her with champagne.
A hand-written complaint also filed on 19 November was mailed by an inmate currently serving a prison sentence for manslaughter who claims he was a minor in 2018 when he was allegedly drugged by his mother and raped by Combs.
Combs has denied committing any sexual abuse and his attorneys said after the first flood of complaints filed by Mr Buzbee’s clients Combs cannot “address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus”.
They stressed he “emphatically” denies sexually abusing anyone.
Combs has been behind bars after facing a September indictment on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, with his criminal trial set for May 2025.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake Bell “instantly regretted” revealing he was a victim of abuse before realising it was helping other people.
The former ‘Drake and Josh’ actor came forward earlier this year to confirm he was the then-unnamed minor involved in a 2003 sexual assault case against former Nickelodeon dialect coach Brian Peck, and his revelations about “extensive and brutal” abuse were part of the ‘Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV’ documentary.
Before being unveiled on’The Masked Singer’ on Wednesday (20.11.24), the 38-year-old star – dressed as Ice King – said: “Miley [Cyrus] and I actually have a lot in common.
“We both know the media can be totally uncool. And this year, I’ve been part of a firestorm of press.
“I finally felt ready to tell my truth to the world, and so I did. And then instantly regretted it.”
Drake – who covered Miley’s hit ‘Midnight Sky’ on the show – was apprehensive about sharing his experience publicly.
He added: “The night it was released, I was a total disaster. Frozen.
“But once I saw how many people could relate, I felt the weight lift off my shoulders. My story is out there.”
In Ice King’s teaser video, he thanked those who have supported him.
He continued: “I’ve worked hard to put that chapter behind me, which is what I wanted most.

After he was unmasked on the show, the former child star admitted it was “a pleasure” to be performing on stage after everything he’s been through.

OHMYGOSSIP — Nikki Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev have settled their divorce.
The retired WWE wrestler – known to fans as Nikki Bella – and the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ pro have finalised their separation two months after splitting up.
A spokesperson for Nikki told E! News in a statement: “Nikki and Artem have settled their divorce and will not be going to court.
“Nikki’s No. 1 priority has always been her son and privacy on the matter.
“She is thankful for all of the love and support she has received during this difficult time.”
According to court documents obtained by TMZ and the Daily Mail newspaper, the couple’s restraining orders against each other have been dismissed.
The former couple – who have four-year-old son Matteo together – split in August after two years of marriage following a row that led to police being called.
Artem, 42, was arrested amid allegations of domestic violence, but was not charged.
On Tuesday (19.11.24), Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley told Us Weekly: “While we take every arrest seriously and stand firmly against domestic violence, we have an ethical obligation to only file charges when supported by the evidence.
“We are required to prove any and every criminal charge ‘beyond a reasonable doubt,’ which is the highest standard in the American criminal justice system.
“If the available evidence doesn’t rise to this level of proof, then we cannot ethically file charges.”
Last month, Artem and Nikki offered different versions of the events that led up to the dancer’s arrest.
Artem alleged his spouse appeared stressed due to work and “escalated the argument” by criticising him for not taking an equal share of parenting responsibility, which he insisted was “completely false”.
The dancer insisted he then left the room to “let her cool down” while he helped Matteo get ready to leave, but the former wrestler followed and allegedly continued to shout complaints at him, getting angrier at his “calm” responses before she “completely lost it” and told him to get out before “forcefully throwing both of Matteo’s sneakers” at him.
Nikki had admitted throwing the shows in her filing after growing “overwhelmed” by Artem yelling at her, but insisted they “weigh hardly anything and could not have hurt him.”
Artem told how he had taken Matteo to his room and wouldn’t let Nikki in, but when she forced her way in, the little boy began crying so he moved himself and his wife out to the hallway.
He alleged: “I tried to get her off me and away from the door frame so that Matteo would not witness any further conflict.
“I cannot stress enough how many times I pleaded with her to stop and calm down. There was a mutual struggle, and both ended up on the ground. At that moment, I knew that nothing I would say would get to her [and] make her calm down.
“I was hurt and scared of her continuing on. I needed help for her to stop.”
In her own filing, Nikki stated Artem had opened the door and “tackled” her to the ground before pinning her down when she tried to get in the bedroom, and pushing down on her chest.
Artem called police and remained outside until they arrived but was ultimately arrested, which he noted in his filing had surprised him as he wasn’t the primary aggressor.

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus used to struggle to “connect with people” because of her fame.
The 31-year-old singer became known around the world when she took on the title role in the Disney Channel sitcom ‘Hannah Montana’ as a teenager and went on to become one of the world’s biggest pop stars in the process but noted that having that kind of notoriety “got in the way” of her social relationships.
She told Harper’s Bazaar: “Obviously, [being a child star] shaped me into a very different adult than some of my peers or my friends. It is just a really different childhood to have. For a while, I thought it got in the way of me connecting with people.”
Just before the new interview, the ‘Flowers’ hitmaker had done a Chinese medicine quiz, and one of the questions was about whether she felt she could easily form relationships with others.
Miley wasn’t exactly sure how to answer that but did recall that while she can “drop” her celebrity persona whenever she chooses, it can be difficult for others to perceive her as an ordinary person.
She said: “I don’t even know how to really answer that because for who I am as a person, yes, I feel like I can connect to people and I feel like I’m a friend to all. But because of how I’ve grown up, sometimes people make it harder. I can drop my persona really easily, but it’s hard for other people to erase that part of you.”
The Grammy Award-winning star appeared on the hit Disney Channel series alongside her father Billy Ray Cyrus and the success of the sitcom made her a multimillionaire by her mid-teens, but she recalled that it was her mother Tish Cyrus who would often step in to discipline her.
She said: “My mom said that I had to get a Nissan or Toyota just like my other siblings. She was never afraid to take my cell phone away. Even when I paid my own cell phone bill! I would always go, like, Mom, that’s for kids that don’t pay their own cell-phone bill.

The former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star – who has daughter Emerson, 27, with ex-husband Jon Tenney – will reach her 60th birthday on December 8 and explained that even though she normally lets the event pass by without much fuss, she has become “conscious” of it this time round.
She told UsWeekly: “I will normally do nothing. Yeah, it’s just too much. But this birthday I really felt like I wanted to recognize it in the way that I feel like — so my daughter turned 27 this year and I said to her, I go, ‘That feels like a real age. That’s a legit age, 27,’.
“And in a funny way, I feel like 60 is a legit age. And what it makes me conscious of is that the people that I surround myself with — this core [group], we’re going the distance.”
Teri noted that this time there are plans for her to mark the occasion in a “really speical way” with her closest friends and insisted that she is “not ignoring” the big day in a change from tradition.
She added: “I have a group of 20 people that we are all going to celebrate in a really special way. I’m just honored that my friends are kind of going above and beyond to celebrate with me. I’m definitely not ignoring it this year.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce has joked that he should have children to “become brilliant”.
The 35-year-old NFL player – who is in a relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift – quipped he will think about starting a family after Ryan Fitzpatrick, one of the celebrity contestants on his quiz show ‘Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?’, claimed parenthood makes people “wiser”.
During this week’s episode of the Prime Video series, Travis asked: “Is that what happens when you have kids? You get smarter? Man, that’s all I had to do to become brilliant?”
Former NFL star Ryan replied: “Just have a baby”, to which the audience cheered.
Meanwhile, Travis’ beau Taylor is unlikely to join him and his family for Thanksgiving later this month, according to his mom Donna.
The 34-year-old singer spent last holiday without the Kansas City Chiefs star – and due to her “busy” schedule with her ‘Eras Tour’, his mom doesn’t believe she will be joining them this year.
When asked if they were planning a big family feast, Donna insisted they are not doing much as Travis has a football game the following day.
Speaking on the ‘Today’ show, she said: “I am going to be at a football game. Travis is playing the day after Thanksgiving. You know, football is always the holidays. It’s football’s family.
“Not that anything’s planned. I think we’re just going to be at the football game.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Storm Reid has been axed from ‘Euphoria’.
The 21-year-old actress played Gia in the first two seasons of the HBO drama but has revealed her character Gia – the younger sister of lead star Zendaya’s alter ego Rue Bennett – won’t be part of the long-awaited third series.
However, Storm insisted she harbours no bitterness over the situation and is “very excited” to see the finished episodes.
She told Rotten Tomatoes: “I’m very excited for season three. Unfortunately, Gia’s not returning for the third season, but I’m so, so indebted to the cast and the crew of that show, to HBO.
“‘Euphoria’s a really special thing, and I’m so glad that that’s apart of my legacy, and that I was apart of such a cultural phenomenon.
“I’m forever grateful, forever indebted, and I can’t wait to see what season three has in store.
“I’m very excited.”
The 21-year-old star’s revelation comes as she has admitted earlier this year to being “anxious” to get back to work on the show after filming for the new series was delayed.
She told E! News in April: “We’re on pause right now, but we’re anxious to get back.
“If it’s meant to be, we’ll be back soon and we’ll give the audience what they want and deserve.”
Following months of speculation the show was set to be cancelled following months of delays, HBO confirmed earlier this month that work on the programme – which also stars the likes of Maude Apatow, Jacob Elordi and Sydney Sweeney – will resume next year.
A representative for HBO told The Independent: “‘Euphoria’ is going in to production in 2025. Nothing has changed.”
And days later, Zendaya played down reports of a feud with creator Sam Levinson.
Asked where she stands with ‘Euphoria’ and the show’s creator, she told Vanity Fair magazine: “[‘Euphoria’] is slated for January, I believe. I haven’t read anything yet, but I’m excited to see what everyone has been working on, and what the future looks like for ‘Euphoria’. I don’t really have much of an answer except for right now it’s set to start shooting in January.
“My most important thing is to do justice by the people who love and care about Rue, and make sure that she’s looked after as a character. I think that’s my number one duty.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince William wants to be a “disrupter” in the fight against homelessness.
The Prince of Wales visited Newport, South Wales, on Wednesday (20.11.24) as part of his Homewards initiative – which aims to end homelessness by 2028 in six pilot areas – and urged business leaders and charity representatives to throw off the “shackles” of their experiences and look for different approaches.
He is quoted by the Daily Telegraph newspaper as saying: “I say that not to belittle you. But it, how do we break it down, gives you the freedom to think differently and try new things?
“I can be the slight disruptor here and say to you all to think very differently, outside the box, because this is unique, what you’re doing… let’s be really ambitious and almost throw the paperwork up in the air and see how it lands.”
During his trip, the 42-year-old royal – who has three children with wife Catherine, Princess of Wales – visited support service the Nelson Trust and he praised a woman named Rebecca who told how she had turned her life around after losing her father and partner.
The 32-year-old care assistant explained she had been through foster care and was living on the streets at the age of just 16 before attempting to take her own life after the deaths of her dad and her partner, with William noting she had been through more than most people “in their entire lifetime” at such a young age.
Rebecca now lives in a council house on a “broken housing estate” but is focused on raising her two daughters and “making happiness without money”, as well as hoping to help other “lost teenagers”.
Telling her she should be “so proud” of all she has achieved, William said: “You seem like a force of nature Rebecca.
“We need more Rebeccas in the world. You have been through more things than most people go through in their entire lifetime.
“I’m not sure I would have come out the other side like you.”

The ‘Nope’ actress found fame as a child, with her breakthrough role coming in ‘Akeelah and the Bee’ in 2006 when she was 13 years old, and in the following years, she contemplated seeking emancipation from her parents, Sharon and Larry, as she felt isolated but her lawyer urged her to consider therapy instead, and eventually, the ‘Men in Black’ actor called to offer her some advice.
She recalled on ‘The Toast’ podcast: “Couple of weeks go by and I’m on the set of ‘True Jackson, VP’, and I get a call from this like really, really obscure number. And I’m like what? Like this is weird, I’m not answering this.”
When she eventually checked her voicemail, Keke discovered the mystery caller had been the 56-year-old actor.
Impersonating Will, she said: “Hey, Keke. It’s Will. We’re over here doing ‘Karate Kid’ with Jayden.
“I just want to let you know that I talked to [her lawyer]. He let me know everything you’re going through, and I want you to know sometimes it’s hard being the first, but you’ll get through.
“Just keep staying focused, love all your family, and y’all going to be good.”
She added that it was “so insane” to receive the message, but it was one of the reasons why she decided not to seek emancipation.
The ‘Hustlers’ actress is thankful for all the guidance she’s received from the people around her, particularly when she’s had to venture into the unknown.
She said: “It’s something that happens when you’re stepping out, and you could be a child entertainer, or you could be the first person in your family to go to college, or the first person in your family to get married.
“There’s so many firsts that can happen as the generations of your family continue to grow and evolve.
“And this was a difficult thing for me that I felt meant that I had to throw my family away.
“I’ve always had, I think a lot of people — whether they’re notable names or they’re my attorney — that I had a good community, that also my parents made sure I was around, that would encourage community and not like dissension and us breaking apart.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Elton John’s musical has announced it is closing, just days after it opened on Broadway.
‘Tammy Faye’ – which was created by the ‘Tiny Dancer’ singer, James Graham, and Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears – officially opened at New York’s Palace Theater on 14 November but the curtain will come down on the production for good on 8 December following 24 preview and 29 regular performances.
The announcement was made amid poor box office performances for the Rupert Goold-directed production, with it bringing in a gross of $374, 371 in the week ending 17 November, with an overall attendance of 5,732 – just 63% of the venue’s capacity. It has also been criticised by US critics, with the New York Times branding it “strangely bland” and Variety dubbing the show a “misguided West End import”.
The closure news came just a day after Jake, who wrote the lyrics for the musical, reflected on the “ride” of bringing the production to life.
He wrote on Instagram: “What a ride these last 12 years (and 12 weeks) have been. Getting Tammy Faye up on Broadway has been one of the most thrilling experiences of my life. What a joy working with this entire cast, their stamina and talent staggering…and beautiful to watch.
“Thank you to all the collaborators, cast and crew.. I’m immensely proud of our work.
“I believe that musical theatre is one of the most archaic forms of art: complicated and managerially elaborate. It’s the same process as it was 800 years ago. There are no shortcuts. And that’s what I love about it the most. Also having fun with brilliant, wonderful people.

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Kloots has insisted she loves Alan Bersten “very much”.
The ‘Talk’ host recently caused a stir when she spoke about how her ‘Dancing with the Stars’ partner was “very mean” to her and often “yelled” during rehearsals when she took part in the Latin and ballroom contest in 2021, but she’s now insisted it was nothing she hadn’t expected and the pair are firm friends.
Amanda – who came fourth on the show – wrote on her Instagram Story: “Setting the record straight! I love Alan Bersten very much! We became the best of friends during DWTS and still are today!
“We joked then and now about how tough he was on me but believe me I grew up in the ballet world knowing very tough teachers.
“We also laughed a lot, cried, and built an incredible partnership in that time!”
Amanda went on to thank Alan for helping her start dancing again following the death of her husband Nick Cordero in 2020 due to COVID-19 complications
She added: “Alan helped me tremendously with healing and grief and finding my love for dance again.
“I’m forever grateful for him. If you followed us then and now you know know the bond we created!”
The 42-year-old beauty had spoken of how “mean” Alan had been to her during their rehearsals when interviews on the ‘Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey’ podcast.
She said: “He was very mean to me.
“Growing up Russian, growing up in that dance atmosphere. And he did see a lot of potential in me, and he saw that we could possibly win this thing.”
Although she could see Alan saw her potential, whenever he “yelled” at her, she would be left “raging”.
She added: “I would just keep it bottled up and we would just be dancing, and I would just be raging inside.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selma Blair is “feeling really well”.
The 52-year-old actress was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018 but is currently in remission, so enjoys getting out and about, though she needs to remember to take time to rest in order to be at her best.
She told E! News at ELLE magazine’s 2024 Women in Hollywood event: “I’m feeling really well. I do have to remember to rest sometimes, but it’s hard when you get excited about things. But I’m doing really well.
“I love to be included with all these wonderful people, you know even that I come out now—there was a long spell none of us were really getting out, or weren’t feeling well.
“So to be out again, it is a celebration. And I love seeing people happy and celebrated. The air feels different, people seem to be really excited right now. I’m just drinking it all in.”
The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress is looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving with her son Arthur, 13, and former partner Jason Bleick.
She said: “I’m headed out of town, but I’ll be back right in time for Thanksgiving with my son. And I’ll just celebrate it with his dad. Simple, quiet.”
Earlier this year, Selma underwent a risky two-month hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) procedure in order to try and jumpstart her immune system and she recently explained she suffered a “major relapse” afterwards, but is still in remission.
Speaking in a video update to UsWeekly, she said: “Hi. So a lot of people have been asking me how I am doing so great and my movement is so much different, and I really am excited. I want to let people know that — I’m still in remission, I’m feeling great — after the bone marrow transplant, I actually fell into a major relapse.
The ‘Cruel Intentions’ star also explained that an MRI “lit up flare” showed “new lesions” so she had to find a new doctor, but felt lucky to have found a “great one” who put her on an “amazing” journey with medication that has improved her speech and movement.
