Billy Ray Cyrus’ ex-wife Firerose wishes she had ‘run’ when they first met

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Ray Cyrus’ ex-wife Firerose wishes she had “run” from him when they first met.
The 35-year-old singer and the 63-year-old country music star officially divorced in August, three months after Billy Ray filed legal papers, and Firerose has admitted she wishes they had never met each other.
Speaking to Stellar about first meeting Billy Ray when she was just 22, Firerose said: “I couldn’t have seen 10 years into the future. When I think about what I just went through, I would have told my 22-year-old self to run in the opposite direction and never look back.”
The pair lost touch and reconnected during the COVID-19 pandemic, with Firerose admitting their were red flags from the start.
She said: “He’d say bizarre things like, ‘We’re going to have this epic love story beyond anything you can imagine. We’re going to have twins, and call them Melody and Harmony’.
“All of a sudden, instead of being my normal lively, outgoing self, I became very introverted unless we were working or together in public, where I’d often try to be overly positive as I was scared to let anyone see how devastatingly withdrawn I’d become.”
The couple announced their engagement in August 2022 and went on to wed at their farm in October 2023.
Billy Ray filed for divorce in May 2024, with Firerose previously claiming it came just one day before she was due to undergo the first of two planned surgeries for a preventive mastectomy.
In legal papers, she said was diagnosed as a carrier of the BRCA1 gene mutation in early 2020 and her doctors “highly recommended” she undergo the procedure and a breast reconstruction in March, with the singer scheduling her first surgery for May 24.
Billy Ray claimed Firerose has known about being a carrier for the BRCA1 gene mutation for four years, but he was not made aware of it until after their marriage.
Firerose underwent the surgery last month and posted a picture from her hospital bed on Instagram with the caption: “With God on our side we’re stronger than we can even imagine.
“Thank you so very much for all the prayers. I deeply appreciate the outpouring of love and support.”

Eminem didn’t believe daughter’s pregnancy news at first

OHMYGOSSIP — Eminem didn’t believe his daughter’s pregnancy news at first.
The 51-year-old rap legend was surprised by his daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers, while filming the music video for his new song ‘Temporary’ as she presented him with a jersey saying grandpa but he didn’t understand what she was trying to tell him at first.
Speaking on her ‘Just A Little Shady’ podcast, Hailie, 28, explained: “He was like, ‘Are you trying to call me old? Why are you giving me this jersey that says grandpa?’ Then I hold up the ultrasound picture and he was like, ‘Oh my god. Wait, this is real? This is happening?’
“It was actually really funny, too, because the person who was recording obviously had no idea that that was the plan. They were thinking, ‘Oh we’re just getting some shots.’ So, their reaction we had to mute because they were like, ‘What is going on here? Is this real?’”
Hailie recently revealed she and husband Evan McClintock are expecting a baby boy.
On the podcast, she popped a balloon filled with blue confetti and proclaimed: “It’s a boy! We’re so excited, too. When we found out, Evan was like, ‘They’re going to hunt with me. They’re going to go golfing with me. I’ve got a little buddy. I was like, ‘Okay well they’re still going to Target with me.”
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the ‘Stan’ hitmaker is “excited” about becoming a grandfather for the first time as he is focused on having a quite life.

Jennifer Garner apologised on set for her acting being ‘a little off’ day after agreeing Ben Affleck divorce

OHMYGOSSIP — Jennifer Garner said sorry for her acting being a “little off” the day after she agreed to divorce her ex-husband Ben Affleck.
The actress, 52, was left devastated when she and the ‘Batman v Superman’ star, also 52, ended their 10-year marriage in 2018 after they had children Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and 12-year-old Samuel.
She was starring in the 2016 fantasy comedy ‘Nine Lives’ at the time the former couple were splitting, and its director Barry Sonnenfeld, 71, has now opened up about how she apologised for her performance on set being below par during her painful break-up.
He said in his new autobiography ‘Best Possible Place, Worst Possible Time’: “Jennifer Garner is a beautiful person inside and out. Any time she could, she’d fly back to Los Angeles where she was dealing with her husband, Ben, who was having issues.
“On her last day of filming, Jennifer was a little off. We were in a grand ballroom with hundreds of extras.
“I took her to the side of the room and asked if everything was OK. Behind her, in the distance, were hundreds of extras.
“She apologised for not being at her best. Ben and Jennifer had the night before decided to get a divorce.
“I burst into tears. ‘It’s OK, Barry. It’s going to be OK’, Jennifer promised. “‘How could it be?’ I wailed. ‘Shhhhh. It’s OK (Jennifer said.) It’s going to be OK. It’s for the best.’
“‘I don’t think so,’ I howled.”
‘Nine Lives’ saw Jennifer play Nina Brand, the wife of a businessman who has his mind trapped inside his daughter’s cat.
‘Men in Black’ filmmaker Barry also said in his book he had a clash with Donald Trump on the set of a Macy’s Christmas commercial he directed in 2009, which also starred Martha Stewart, Queen Latifah, Usher, Mariah Carey and Jessica Simpson.
He said Trump, 78, took issue with how he was filmed and demanded to be shot from his “good side”.
Barry added the former US president stormed off the set after he told him: “Find a camera angle that shows my good side, or we’re done here, because believe me, you’re not shooting me from my bad side and if you can’t do that, I’m leaving.”

Kanye West accused of drugging and sexually assaulting ex-assistant at Diddy music session

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting his former assistant at a Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs recording session.
The scandal-plagued rapper, 47, who has been hit with a string of lawsuits by former employees since his infamous anti-Semitic outbursts, allegedly gave Lauren Pisciotta a drink “laced with an unidentified drug”, according to newly-lodged court papers from the model.
She says in her complaint she was drugged at a music session in Santa Monica, California, adding he was the one who ordered the drink to be poured.
OnlyFans model Lauren added she “started to feel disoriented” after only a few sips of the drink – before she started to feel disoriented and in “less control of her body and speech”.
Lauren said she felt ill and “immense shame” the following morning, but was unclear about what had happened the previous day.
She sued Kanye earlier this year for sexual harassment and wrongful termination.
Lauren filed her complaint alleging he drugged and sexually assaulted her in a filing lodged on 8 October in the Los Angeles Superior Court of California.
She claimed she only learned what allegedly happened to her the night of the studio session “much later”.
Lauren added Kanye then confessed to her that they “did kind of hook up a little one time” – referencing the night she was allegedly drugged, according the complaint.
Kanye was married to Kim Kardashian, 43, at the time his alleged assault on Lauren occurred.
Kim, who the rapper married in 2014 before they settled their divorce in 2022,
was not named in the complaint, but Lauren said she had accused him of having sexual relations with her, which she said prompted him to confess to what allegedly occurred at the studio session.
Lauren’s filing said: “Still to that day, up until that conversation and revelations of true facts and actions taken that night, Plaintiff did not know or think she was sexually assaulted that night, as Plaintiff only thought she was roofied by a studio assistant, likely embarrassed herself and then took the blame.

Kanye West’s ex-assistant feared she’d be ‘silenced, blacklisted and retaliated against’ over sexual assault claim

OHMYGOSSIP — Kanye West’s ex-assistant feared she would be “silenced, blacklisted and retaliated against” if she went public with her claim he drugged and sexually assaulted her.
The rapper, 47, is said in a newly amended lawsuit from his former employees Lauren Pisciotta to have given her a drink “laced with an unidentified drug” before an alleged assault at a music session in Santa Monica, California, with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, 54, who is in jail in New York awaiting trial on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Her legal papers say she allegedly had to be “extremely careful” in the way she distanced herself from Kanye after the alleged incident, as she believed she would be “silenced, blacklisted and retaliated against” if she spoke out about her belief she had been drugged and assaulted.
She claims in her suit, which was originally filed in June and then updated with her claims of assault, she was never paid a $3 million in severance that she was allegedly owed.
In the filing, the OnlyFans model also spoke about allegedly receiving vulgar texts from Kanye on multiple occasions.
She also claimed to have received intimate photos of “current and former” employees of Kanye’s who were both “men and women”.
Kanye’s lawyers previously slammed Lauren’s allegations as “baseless”.
They told Page Six in June the model had pursued the rapper “sexually” to “coerce employment and other material benefits”.
The attorneys also claimed Lauren blackmailed Kanye when “her advances were rejected”.
They said: “Prior to her termination as an assistant, Ms Pisciotta stole his cell phone in an attempt to destroy phone records that would contradict her claims, all of which have been preserved.
“She was terminated for being unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including a $4 million annual salary) and numerous documented incidents of her lascivious, unhinged conduct.”

Al Pacino met real-life mobster as part of Michael Corleone research

OHMYGOSSIP — Al Pacino met a real-life mobster as part of his research to play Michael Corleone.
The Hollywood veteran, 84, was nominated for a best supporting actor Oscar for his portrayal of soldier turned mafia don Michael in director Francis Ford Coppola’s 1972’s operatic Cosa Nostra epic ‘The Godfather’, but has told in his memoir he was virtually clueless about how to play the character until he met a genuine mafiosa at his home – where he ended up boozing and being shown a gun.
He says in his book ‘Sonny Boy’ about struggling with getting to the heart of the part: “I still had to figure out who Michael was to me. Before filming started, I would take long walks up and down Manhattan, from 91st Street to the Village and back, just thinking about how I was going to play him.
“Mostly I’d go alone, other times I’d meet my friend Charlie Laughton downtown and we’d walk back uptown together.
“Michael starts out from a young man we’ve seen before, getting by, a little loopy, a little lumpy.
“He’s there and not there at the same time. It’s all building up to when he volunteers to take out Virgil Sollozzo and Capt McCluskey, the drug dealer and the crooked cop who conspired to kill Vito Corleone, Michael’s father. All of a sudden, there’s a big explosion in him.
“This is mapped out in the novel, because a book can give the narrative as much time as it needs. You wait and see how it unfolds. But what was I going to do in the film?”
Al added he finally got to grips with what to do onscreen after his ‘Godfather’ co-star Alfredo Lettieri – who played heroin trafficker Virgil Sollozzo in 85-year-old Francis’ movie, took him him to a connected mobster’s home.
He said: “Before we started shooting, I got together with Little Al Lettieri, who was going to play Sollozzo.
“He just said to me, ‘You should meet this guy. It’s good for what you’re doing.’
“I sort of knew what he meant by that, so I went along with him. One day we took a drive to a suburb just outside the city.
“Little Al brought me to a traditional, beautiful, well-kept home. He took me inside and introduced me to the head of the household, a guy who looked like a normal businessman.
“I shook his hand and said hello, and he was very welcoming. He had a loving family. He had a wife who served us drinks and light snacks on fine porcelain. “He had two young sons around my age. I was just some crazy actor who had come into his house, trying to absorb as much as I could.
“Our conversation remained polite and at the surface level. I never asked Little Al why he had brought me here, but I thought about what he had said before we came, how this visit would be helpful for what I was working on. “Little Al knew some guys. Some real guys. And now he was introducing me to one of them.
“I was being given a taste of how this thing looked and operated in reality, not how it was shown in the movies.
“Not that our host was going to get into any of those details with us. As a matter of fact, we ended up drinking and playing games.
“Many moons later, photos from that night surfaced, showing me in a sweatshirt, laughing away with a drink in my hand, while Little Al showed me a gun. A boys’ night out.”

Kevin Spacey ‘not fun to work with’ says director Barry Sonnenfeld

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Spacey was “not fun to work with”, according to director Barry Sonnenfeld.
The ‘American Beauty’ actor, 65, wept in court in July as he was cleared of all charges in his sexual assault trial in London after jurors at Southwark Crown Court returned not guilty verdicts for nine sexual offence charges relating to four men between 2001 and 2013, and he has been battling to rebuild his acting career ever since.
‘Men in Black’ filmmaker Barry, 71, says in his new autobiography he had issues with Kevin long before his court battle.
He says in his book ‘Best Possible Place, Worst Possible Time: True Stories from a Career in Hollywood’: “Kevin was not fun to work with. He was mean, unhelpful, critical of other actors, and he had the kind of personality I tried to keep off set as much as possible.”
Barry also says in his memoir he clashed with comedian Tim Allen on the set of 2002 comedy film ‘Big Trouble’.
He added: “Tim was a handful on set. He was loud and his jokes were repetitive and sometimes mean.”
Barry also said the 71-year-old sitcom star bizarrely said on set about his co-star Rene Russo: “I’m not attracted to her.”
He added: “We were filming the scene where Rene and Tim meet for the first time. It’s important that we sense instant chemistry between the two.”
Barry said he told Tim it was vital he looked “instantly smitten” with Rene, but added the ‘Home Improvement’ actor replied: “Why would I be?”
When Barry told him: “Well, she’s beautiful and in the previous scene where you first saw her she was funny and witty…”, he said Tim replied: “I’m not attracted to her.”
Barry said Rene, now 70, was “one of the most beautiful women” he had worked with – adding: “(and) I’ve worked with… very beautiful woman”.

King Charles ‘taking two doctors and blood supply on Australia and Samoa tour’

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles is reportedly taking two doctors and a supply of his blood on his upcoming tour of Australia and Samoa.
The monarch, 77, who has been battling an undisclosed form of cancer since February, will apparently have the medics on standby 24 hours a day during his upcoming royal trip from October 18 to 26.
According to a report by The Times, Charles will be “monitored closely during the visit”, with a palace source adding Michael Dixon – head of the royal medical household and known for his interest in homeopathy – “will not be travelling” with His Majesty.
Charles’ visit to Sydney and Canberra will be his first to a Commonwealth realm since becoming king in May, and it is understood he is pausing his chemotherapy treatment until after the trip.
The Times added steps taken to support Charles abroad are “the same as arrangements put in place for the late Queen”.
They will also apparently include travelling with a supply of trhe king’s blood to ensure a match if a transfusion was needed, The Times added.
It said as well as travelling with his own doctors, the King will be supported by medical teams during the trip.
In Australia, Charles’ itinerary will include a rest day and there will be no evening engagements.
But Charles and his wife Queen Camilla, 77, will arrive in the evening in Samoa and are due to attend a state dinner.
Buckingham Palace said in April Charles was “greatly encouraged” by news from his doctors he could resume public duties while his treatment continued.
Despite the encouraging signs over Charles’ health, a planned visit to New Zealand was dropped from the upcoming tour due to his health.
Charles told the nation’s female rugby squad at a reception for them in Buckingham Palace in September: “I’m extremely sorry I can’t come to New Zealand in later October – it’s on doctors’ orders.
“But I hope there will be another excuse (to come) before too long.
“In the meantime, give my love to New Zealand.”

Pharrell Williams reveals secret to his eternally youthful skin

OHMYGOSSIP — Pharrell Williams has revealed the secret to his eternally youthful skin.
The former N.E.R.D. singer turned 51 in April and has spent years renowned for his young look – and has now told how one simple beauty treatment is key for him to fighting wrinkles.
He told People when asked for his beauty secret: “Believe it or not, exfoliation, man. Exfoliation is the key.”
But 13-time Grammy winner Pharrell added it wasn’t quite as simple as scrubbing his face.
He added: “Now, there is a routine, and you can find them online, but I think probably the most active portion of it all… no, it’s two.
“It’s exfoliating, but it’s also in here.
“It’s literally in here. That inner child – don’t ever silence it. Don’t ever (say), ‘Oh, I can’t do this anymore.’ “No. That’s why you should absolutely do it right now. The people who want to put you in a box? They tried to do that to me too, and here we are.”
Pharrell spoke as his new documentary ‘Piece by Piece’ plays in cinemas after being released on 11 October.
Directed by Morgan Neville, Pharrell refused to make it a standard behind-the-scenes music biopic.
Instead, he decided to build the story of his life piece by piece – telling the entire story with animated LEGO characters.
He said about being persuaded to do a documentary: “(My agent) was like, ‘Why don’t you just look at the (Lady) Gaga one (‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’.) I mean, look how she did it.’
“I’m like, ‘Okay, cool.’
“And I saw it, and that was one of the things I was most impressed with when I did see it.
“I was like, ‘Oh, I saw her fingerprints all over this.’
“(But my first condition for doing one was) I want to do it with Morgan Neville… (and) I said, ‘But I want to do it in LEGO.’”

Al Pacino reveals why he refuses to take souvenirs from movie sets

OHMYGOSSIP — Al Pacino refuses to take souvenirs from his movie sets.
The Hollywood veteran, 84, has starred in some of cinema’ most iconic films including ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Heat’, but admitted he is not one for lifting props and costumes from the shoots such as his drug baron ‘Scarface’ character Tony Montana’s “little friend” gun and white suit.
He told People ahead of the publication of his upcoming memoir ‘Sonny Boy’ about why he doesn’t keep them: “I’ll probably lose them. For a long while, I used to bop from one place to another. I always was a bit of a gypsy.”
He added the only trinket he has kept from his movie career is a homemade Oscar trophy fans made for him after 1983’s ‘Scarface’ was snubbed by the Academy Awards.
Al said he was given the gift while performing in a production of writer David Mamet’s ‘American Buffalo’ in San Francisco, with a group of his fans coming to see him following a matinee of the show.
He added: “It was just around the time the awards were coming out, the Oscars were coming out and I didn’t get nominated.
“So the fans out there, they used to wait for me when a show was over.
“They all got together and gave me this huge Oscar. I thought, ‘My God.’ I still have it at my house.
“It was huge, proportionately huge compared to the real Oscar. You know what I’m saying? So I was stunned by that. I was very happy with that.”
By the time ‘Scarface’ was released, Al had been nominated for five Academy Awards but never won.
He finally took home the best actor gong for his performance as a blind former war hero in 1992’s ‘Scent of a Woman’.
Al added to People he never thought he’d write a memoir, but agreed after he started thinking about his past and stories “just started coming out” from his “quite a big life”.

A source told People even though J Lo has experienced one of the “hardest years” of her life, she is now prioritising her wellbeing and career.
They added: “She didn’t want to file for divorce. She just felt like she had no choice. Nothing was gonna change with Ben.
“She was very upset about (the split.)

“Instead of feeling like she’s fallen flat on her face, she sees it was meant to be.

Tom Cruise ‘has moved back to US after five years in UK’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Cruise is said to have moved back to America.
The actor has been living in the UK for the last five years as he filmed projects including his latest ‘Mission: Impossible’ film and reportedly spent a fortune buying a penthouse in central London.
But the 62-year-old ‘Top Gun’ star is now said to be moving back to his native US as filming has wrapped on ‘Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning II’.
A source told The Sun: “Tom has made the UK his home for five years and he absolutely loves it here.
“There is no doubt he’ll be back at some point when he greases the wheels for the next ‘Mission: Impossible’ outing, but Tom is looking forward to returning to the US to be closer to his son Connor and his friends.
“The transformation has been pretty incredible – England has done him and his wider reputation the world of good, and he’s so much happier for it.”
Tom is said to have said farewell to his loyal British film crew before recently boarding his helicopter at Battersea to head back to the US.
The actor used Britain as his base for the filming of ‘Dead Reckoning’ parts one and two.
But Tom is literally heading into a storm with his move as the US has been battered by Hurricane Milton in the last week.
The actor’s large apartment complex in Clearwater, Florida, is expected to be in the eye of the storm and the Mail Online reported Tom was spotted in London “sporting a concerned look amid the news of Milton’s destructive power”.
More than 100 homes were destroyed in St Lucie County by Hurricane Milton and millions of terrified Florida residents have evacuated.
Tom has owned his apartment in Florida since 2016 and is said to have been “happy” there due to its proximity to the international headquarters for Scientology.

Julainne Moore, 63, refuses to be defined by her age

OHMYGOSSIP — Julianne Moore doesn’t want to be “defined” by her age.
The 63-year-old actress has been in Hollywood for more than 30 years but insisted that rather than just measuring things by age, she would rather just experience life as it comes.
She told The Observer magazine: “No one wants to be defined by how old they are. When you are 30, you don’t want to be told, ‘You’re 30, you should start worrying,’ and when you’re 60, you don’t want people telling you, ‘Don’t you think we should be wrapping this up now?’ It feels like a very tight way to define someone when, in fact, everybody is just having experiences of… being alive.”
The ‘Boogie Nights’ star – who was initially married to John Gould Rubin from 1986 until 1995 but is now married to Bart Freundlich and has Caleb , 26, as well as 22-year-old Liv with him – believes that questions about age are technically about business but that “mortality” is the bigger issue at play.
She said: “We all have a life cycle. Sometimes the age questions are really about business, you know, but then the deeper question,, and here we’re getting back to the dark part of this interview… the deeper question is about mortality.
“We all want that, don’t we! The thing about identity, though, is that it’s always shifting.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Still Alice’ actress recently explained that she now finds herself in a “different situation” with her work now because she is no longer restricted by being around for her children as much.
She said: “When my kids were little or in high school, I just wouldn’t take the part. Everything I did had to be in New York, or I could go away in little bits or in the summertime.”
“I really, really valued having a family. I wanted my kids to feel rooted somewhere. I wanted to have the experience of being in a family, and that meant making certain choices about work that would allow me to do that. It’s a very different situation when you can just up and go.
“But it is still a challenge. You’re like, ‘Wait, wait, where’s my life?’ ”

‘Bea’s my big sister; I talk to her about everything…’ Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice share parenting tips

OHMYGOSSIP — Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice swap parenting tips “all the time”.
Gallery director Eugenie posted on Instagram last week to congratulate her older sister Beatrice – who has Sienna, three, and stepson Wolfie, eight, with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi – on her pregnancy news but admitted she’d consulted her sibling first on what to write as they always share their experiences.
Eugenie – who has sons August, three, and Ernest, 16 months, with husband Jack Brooksbank – noted she and her sibling turn to each other for advice “all the time” and she feels very lucky to be able to do so.
She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “I ring her a lot about meltdowns.
“When I was Instagramming that photo, I rang her and I was like, ‘What do you want me to say?’ Because I always want to ask, just in case.
“And she said, ‘Can’t wait to talk about the trials and tribulations of motherhood.’
“I posted about our mothering journey because it really is as if you become part of a club – a mothering club.
“When your children are the same age and going through the same things, it’s the luckiest thing in the world.
“And Bea’s my big sister; I talk to her about everything.”
Eugenie – whose grandmother was the late Queen Elizabeth – hasn’t yet told her sons they have a new cousin on the way.
She said: “I haven’t got that far yet. I think Augie will see her tummy growing and realise, but they don’t get it just yet.”
The princess’ mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, is “so happy” to be a grandmother again and Eugenie loves to see her pride in her family.
She said: “Mum’s funny because she loves her grandchildren so much but you can see this pride for her two daughters.
“She’s like, ‘My babies!’
“When you become a granny, you have the pride for the baby and your baby, she’s got a double whammy there.”

Kate Winslet hopes war photographer Lee Miller stays in her heart forever

OHMYGOSSIP — Kate Winslet hopes playing Lee Miller stays with her forever.
The 49-year-old actress – who has Mia, 24, and Joe, 20, from previous marriages and 10-year-old Bear with husband Edward Abel Smith – stars as the war photographer in new movie ‘Lee’ and she found the former Vogue cover model a “hugely inspiring” figure.
She told Britain’s HELLO! Magazine: “There are things about her that are in me and I hope will always be in me now, because she was so inspiring, with her ability to live life with resilience, compassion and power, redefining femininity 80 years ago.
“That’s how I will always want to live my life.
“That’s how I am with my friend and that’s how we’re raising our daughters – to have your eyes wide open and not judge people and always have kindness.”
Kate was keen to make a film about Lee – who died in 1977 aged 70 – that “lifted her out of the male gaze” because she felt frustrated about the ways in which the photographer had been discussed in the past.
She explained: “I wanted to make a film that lifted Lee out of the male gaze, because, when I first researched her in 2015, she was described as the ex-lover and muse of Man Ray and a former Vogue cover girl – belittling, infantilising labels that had been stuck on her.
