OHMYGOSSIP — Shailene Woodley has spoken out after she was arrested for trespassing on Monday (10.10.16)
The 24-year-old actress was arrested when she was protesting against the proposed plans for the Dakota Access Pipeline, which aims to transport crude oil from the North Dakota Bakken region through South Dakota and Iowa into Illinois, crossing the Missouri River.
The star was among a reported 100 protestors who turned up to the construction site for a peaceful protest, amid concerns that the pipeline project could potentially cause irreversible harm to the drinking water for the Standing Rock community – who live just one mile from the river – as well as the river’s ecosystem.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (11.10.16), the ‘Divergent’ star continued her fight against the construction, using the hashtags “#NoDAPL” and “#protectcleanwater”.
She captioned a photo of the river: “one day, baby, we’ll sing our poetry. the words dripping from our tongues wet with ripened patience. and the lyrics, the sweet fruits born from the seeds our aging hands are now sowing.#alwaysinallways #heartforward #uptous#NoDAPL #protectcleanwater#iamonyourside (sic)”
The news comes after it was reported that ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ actress had been released from Morton County Jail.
A representative for the star told E! News after she was released: “She appreciates the outpouring of support, not only for her, but more importantly, for the continued fight against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline.”
Shailene was among 26 protestors who were arrested after police broke up their peaceful protest. At the time, the star claimed her arrest was a result of her being “well known”.
She said: “I’m being arrested! I was down there with everybody else! I don’t know what’s going on, as soon as they came I left. It’s because I’m well known, it’s because I have 40,000 people watching.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Perez Hilton received an apology from Angelina Jolie’s “crisis management expert” after her lawyers threatened to sue him.
The 37-year-old celebrity blogger was recently asked to change elements of a story he ran about the ‘Maleficent’ star’s split from husband Brad Pitt, and her lawyers threatened legal action if he didn’t comply.
At the time, the star hit back by posting his email response on Instagram, demanding an apology from the 41-year-old star herself.
Speaking on Australian radio show ‘The Kyle and Jackie O Show’, Perez has now revealed that he did in fact get an apology, though not directly from the actress.
In tweets posted on Kyle and Jackie O’s Twitter page, Perez said: “I have an update for you! The legal team did not respond, but her crisis management expert got back to me – and apologised!”
But the star sticks by his original coverage of the duo’s split, as he says the ‘By The Sea’ actress’ team wanted a whole new piece written about the event which “apologised” for his original reporting.
He wrote: “I believed it to be true, so I published it.
“They didn’t just want it taken down, they wanted a new piece apologising. I responded in a very dramatic, OTT way. (sic)”
For the blogger, what angered him the most about the ordeal was the fact that he was a huge supporter of Angelina before he received the emails, but admits he now thinks “negatively” of her.
He said: “For the last 10 years I have been the biggest #AngelinaJolie advocate, I was in tears when I heard they split.
“Her team are making people think negatively of her and before this I did not think negatively of her.”
In Perez’s email response, he told Angelina’s lawyers – Bert Fields and Priya Sapori – to “suck [his] d**k”.
He wrote: “Please get this message to Angelina Jole herself. She KNOWS … I have ALWAYS been a huge fan and SUPPORTER of hers!! I am livid!!! Unless she wants to turn me into an enemy, I want an apology right now. I am not changing anything. If you want to sue me, my lawyer is Brian Freedman and he is CC’d. I did nothing illegal. We stand 100% behind our reporting. F**k YOU. And suck my d**k! (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Miley Cyrus hates the title of the TV show ‘Supergirl’.
The 23-year-old singer has slammed the CW television show for branding the superhero action adventure programme with a misleading title that might make people “feel bad”.
Speaking to Variety magazine, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ hitmaker said: “I think people will have to realise they’re looking really dated. For example, there’s a show called ‘Supergirl’. I think having a show with a gender attached to it is weird. One, it’s a woman on that f***ing billboard — it’s not a little girl. Two, what if you’re a little boy who wants to be a girl so bad that this makes you feel bad? I think having a title like “Supergirl” doesn’t give the power that people think it does.”
And the star admits she only realised that she could use her voice to help change the world after her controversial 2013 VMAs performance – which saw her dance provocatively with Robin Thicke – went viral.
She said: “In 2013, when I did the VMAs, it became the biggest story in the world. I never expected that to happen. I just did my own thing. I went out there dressed as a teddy bear, danced with teddy bears, never thought about the world thinking that was going to be a bad thing.
“It was making me feel like I was living a dumb life — like I should just pick another job. I didn’t understand my power at that point. People listen because of who I am, so instead of being embarrassed, I should say: ‘F**k yeah, I got the microphone.'”
But for the family of the ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer – who is currently on the judging panel for American talent competition ‘The Voice’ – it isn’t until a fan tells them how Miley has changed their life that they really understand what she stands for.
She said: “On ‘The Voice’, this young girl started crying when she left, because I’m the reason she came out. My mom started crying. She was like, ‘I’m so sorry about the way I was when you were that age and coming out.’ She never understood me until she saw that girl who couldn’t be herself. It was very cool.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jim Carrey has been faced with a second wrongful death lawsuit regarding Cathriona White.
Last month, the 54-year-old actor faced claims – made by Cathriona’s estranged husband Mark Burton – that he supplied his ex-girlfriend with drugs so that she could take her own life, resulting in her tragic suicide last year.
Now, Cathriona’s mother Brigid Sweetman has filed a second lawsuit against the ‘Bruce Almighty’ actor, claiming that her daughter took her own life after she realised the star had given her three sexually transmitted diseases.
But it doesn’t stop there, as according to TMZ Brigid also claims that Jim shamed Cathriona by calling her a “w***e”, and threatened her into keeping silent.
The lawsuit states that in 2013, Cathriona learned from her doctor that she had contracted two different types of herpes, as well as chlamydia. Brigid says the actor was at first dismissive of the claims, and later argued that she could have contracted the diseases from someone else.
The suit claims that Cathriona struggled emotionally before she overdosed on Ambien, Propranolol, and Percocet.
However, TMZ also report Marty Singer – the lawyer for the ‘Dumb and Dumber’ star – has branded the lawsuit as “a sham”, as he claims Cathriona and her mother have been estranged for years.
Marty also claims that Cathriona was forced to move out of her home when she was 15, due to the way her mother treated her.
Jim’s lawyer states that Brigid is directing her grief and anger over the loss of her daughter toward the star, but branded her actions as another attempt to capitalise on her death.

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Brown “knew” Rihanna’s relationship with Drake wouldn’t last.
The ‘Work’ hitmaker and the ‘Hotline Bling’ musician called time on their romance just months after they went public, and Chris – who dated the 28-year-old singer from 2007-2009, and briefly in 2013 – thinks their split is because Drake, 29, is a “boring mama’s boy”.
A spokesperson for the 27-year-old singer told HollywoodLife.com: “[Chris Brown] knew it wouldn’t last. No diss to Drake but he ain’t man enough for Rihanna. He’s not edgy and when you peel back all his sweet BS lines and charm you see the real Drake: a boring mama’s boy.”
And even though the ‘Needed Me’ singer might have moved on from the ‘Royalty’ musician, Chris hasn’t given up on rekindling their relationship.
The spokesperson added: “[Chris] sent [Rihanna] a joking text telling her telling her she could lay on his chest if she needed a rock for support. She hit him back with ‘lol.’ That made Chris smile. [Rihanna]’s always giving him attitude and making him work it and he loves that about her.”
Chris isn’t the only former flame to get involved in the split either, as Drake’s ex-fling Crystal Westbrooks took to Twitter to express her feelings on the news after it was reported that the ‘One Dance’ hitmaker had already moved on from Rihanna and struck up a relationship with India Love – Crystal’s sister.
She tweeted: “That awkward moment when she hops on your exs….. Nvm nvm nvm #iFeelLikeRayJ
“Well this is getting really awkward (sic)”
If that wasn’t confusing enough, insiders admit there might be more to the new romance than meets the eye as India’s ex-boyfriend, Cliff Dixon, was rumoured to have cheated on her with Rihanna.
A source said: “Drake could be hooking up with India Love now to p**s off Rihanna, which has clearly worked.”
At the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) at Madison Square Garden in New York in August, Drake admitted he had been “in love” with Rihanna for years.
Presenting the ‘S&M’ hitmaker with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, he said of the brunette beauty: “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I’ve looked up to her, even though she’s younger than me. OHMYGOSSIP — Jesse Eisenberg is going to become a dad.
The 33-year-old actor and his long term girlfriend Anna Strout are expecting their first child together, E! News reports.
The ‘Café Society’ actor has remained private about his relationship with Anna – which has spanned over 14 years – but has admitted previously that he loves surrounding himself with people who “want to help other people”.
He said previously: “I find people who want to help other people to be the most interesting. I come from a family of teachers, and my friends are teachers, often times in very difficult school situations. My job is so selfish and focused on my own vanity that I like to surround myself with people who are actually helping people throughout their day.”
‘The Social Network’ star originally dated Anna from 2002 to 2012 before they decided to take a break for a period whilst Jesse focused on his career. Then, before heading to London’s West End to perform in ‘The Spoils’ earlier this year, the star spent four months volunteering for a domestic violence shelter in Bloomington, Indiana. Alongside the University of Indiana, Jesse raised $500,000 for the shelter – enough to pay off the mortgage for the property.
It was whilst volunteering that Jesse was put back in touch with Anna, as her mother is the shelter’s executive director.
Speaking about his work with the shelter, the ‘Now You See Me’ actor has remained tight lipped.
He said previously: “I was there for, like, personal reasons. For reasons I don’t want to bring up in an interview.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruno Mars will perform his new single at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) next month.
The 31-year-old singer – who has previously performed twice at the EMAs in 2011 and 2013 – is the first act to be announced as a performer at the glitzy awards ceremony taking place on November 6 in Rotterdam, Holland.
Speaking to MTVEMA.com, the show’s executive producer Bruce Gilmer said: “We’re thrilled to announce Bruno’s return to EMAs and can’t imagine a more appropriate way to jump start our biggest night of the year. Many more surprises to follow!”
The pop megastar will be taking to the stage to perform his brand new single ’24K Magic’ – which was released last Friday (07.10.16) – in what will be his first live global performance of any of the songs from his forthcoming album of the same name.
And the ‘Just the Way You Are’ hitmaker is no stranger to the EMAs either, as on top of having performed twice before, he’s also picked up three gongs – Best New Act and Best Push in 2011, and Best Song in 2013 – and been nominated for a total of 11 trophies.
This year, the star has failed to bag himself a nomination, with the likes of Beyoncé and Justin Bieber dominating the categories with a whopping five nominations each. The two stars will go head-to-head in the battle for the Biggest Fans Award, which the 22-year-old star won last year.
Coldplay and Adele are both up for four awards each, although neither of them will take home the award for Best Act in the UK and Ireland, as pop trio Years & Years have already been announced as the recipients.
The MTV EMAs will be broadcast live from Rotterdam on November 6.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Paulson has “nightmares” about her Emmy win being a hoax.
The 41-year-old actress recently picked up the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie – her first gong from the glitzy award ceremony – for her portrayal of Marcia Clark in ‘The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story’. Now, she has admitted that for a while she had horrible “midnight terrors” in which she didn’t actually win.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the star said: “I have [the award] in a place where I can see it from my bed, so when I wake up in a midnight terror that I didn’t actually win it, I can see it. Just to calm myself down.
“I had a nightmare that they tapped me on the shoulder and were like, ‘We’re going to need that back. We read the wrong name on the card.’ And I said, ‘But I have the card! Bryan Cranston gave me the card! I have the envelope and it says my name on it!’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was a misprint.’ I woke up and sort of bleary-eyed looked across and saw it, and I was like, ‘[Sigh of relief]’.”
However, the beauty – who is in a relationship with fellow actress Holland Taylor – insisted the bad dreams wore off a few days after the event, and she no longer suffers and can enjoy her award for what it is.
The ‘American Horror Story’ star also compared the award to her future wedding, saying that her and the real Marcia Clark – who accompanied Sarah to the awards – were constantly being congratulated by people.
She said: “That night was a bit like — I’m not married, but what I imagine my own wedding would be. There were so many well-wishers and wonderful, congratulatory moments with people that every time I went to take a bite of food it was like: Put the fork down. Stand up. Say hi. I’ll introduce them to Marcia. People spend months picking out their wedding cake and then they don’t even get to taste it. It was like that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Pratt has spent time in a Children’s Hospital in Seattle.
The 37-year-old actor took to Instagram on Tuesday (11.10.16) to share the pictures he took with patients at Seattle’s Children’s Hospital, along with some touching messages about the people he met.
Alongside a photo of himself with a young girl battling cancer, the ‘Jurassic World’ star wrote: “Madisen is #strongagainstcancer. What an awesome kid with such a beautiful smile. She’s a lover of art and fashion and she’s going places. Thank you @seattlechildrens for the opportunity to come by and brighten some days. My heart is full. Proverbs 3:27 Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. (sic)”
The ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ actor also met a boy named Rowan, who dressed up as Groot from the hit movie for Halloween last year, along with his brother.
He wrote: “Rowan was Groot for Halloween and his brother was Rocket. What an awesome kid. Great parents and from a great family. You’re in my prayers tonight little man. Stay #strong @seattlechildrens (sic)”
And Chris – who’s four-year-old son Jack was born prematurely – made a special visit to the hospital’s neo-natal intensive care unit, who specialise in caring for ill or premature newborn infants.
A picture of the star with two prematurely born infants and their mother was captioned: “Ever since Jack’s premature birth, we have a special affinity for the NICU (neo-natal intensive care unit) Today I spent a little time with Coen and Zion, twins who were born too early only a pound and a half each. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at @seattlechildrens The boys are doing fine. Although they’re both missing their big sis. (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — A series of Mr. Men books are to be released based on the 12 Time Lords in ‘Doctor Who’.
The stories, written and illustrated by Adam Hargreaves – whose father Roger Hargreaves made the books famous – will feature one of the 12 Doctors made up as Mr. Men characters on the cover and be titled accordingly, Dr. First, Dr. Second, Dr. Third and so on.
Jan Paterson, head of book and audio publishing at BBC Worldwide UK, said: “We are thrilled to be teaming up with Sanrio on this fantastic project and think that fans will love these creative incarnations of the Doctor reimagined in the ‘Hargreaves’ style.
“We’re always looking for innovative ways to engage our fans so this is the perfect partnership for us.”
As well as the books, further related merchandise is expected to drop featuring the Time Lords reimagined as Mr. Men characters.
Alastair McHarrie, licensing director at Sanrio Global, added: “There is a wealth of unofficial fan-created content online.

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloe Kardashian says her sister Kim Kardashian West is still “not doing that well” after being robbed at gunpoint.
The 35-year-old star was involved in a “traumatic” incident when she was tied up, put in a bath and had more than $10 million worth of jewellery stolen from her by five masked, armed men in Paris, France, last week, and Khloe admitted it will “take time” for her sibling to recover.
She said: “She’s not doing that well. It’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together.
“We do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support. It will take time. It was horrible what happened to her.”
Khloe admitted the incident has been a “wake-up call” for her social media-friendly family, who are often posting tweets and sharing Instagram pictures and Snapchat videos of their whereabouts.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, the 32-year-old star added: “It’s just a wake-up call to make a lot of life adjustments. This is a really serious matter.
“For Kim I think it’s really personal as to when that emotional, like, terror you could move on from.
“It’s a wake-up call for all of us, but definitely [the focus is] just to make sure our sister is OK.
“Like I said, we’re a family, we’ll do this together. I think it’s important to make those adjustments and to pull back a little bit I think is always smart.”
Late last week, Khloe and her half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner cancelled a number of planned public appearances in the wake of Kim’s horrific ordeal.
A source said at the time: “Due to recent events and ongoing security issues, all signings have been cancelled.”
Kim – who has three-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old son Saint, with husband Kanye West – is said to have told police investigating the incident that her robbers acted like amateurs after putting her in the bath and taking her out again before pointing a gun at her a second time.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ronan Keating has paid tribute to his late Boyzone bandmate Stephen Gately on the seventh anniversary of his death.
The 39-year-old singer/songwriter took to his Instagram account on Monday (10.10.16) to remember his dear friend who died from a congenital heart defect at the age of just 33.
Alongside a heart-warming photo of Stephen, Ronan quoted a line from 1997 Disney film ‘Hercules’, posting: “Hey Steo. ‘A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.’ – Zeus (Disney’sHercules) #ShootingStar. Miss ya Bro (sic).”
And fellow Boyzone singer Mikey Graham has also taken to social media to pay tribute to Stephen.
Despite having joined Twitter five years ago, Mikey wrote his first tweet, which he dedicated to the ‘Every Day I Love You More’ hitmaker.
Mikey tweeted: “Still missing you steo. Rip pal. (sic).”
The death of Stephen hit all the members of Boyzone and their manager Louis Walsh hard.
The band members – Ronan, Mikey, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch – proved their dedication to the late singer when they held an overnight vigil in the Church of St Laurence O’Toole in Dublin, Ireland, the night before his funeral took place because Stephen had been afraid of the dark and they didn’t want him to be left alone.
Speaking previously about their actions prior to the memorial service in 2009, Shane said: “We got our sleeping bags, the priest came in with some wine for us and at about 12 o’clock at night we were starving hungry. We didn’t think of food but then there was a knock on the church door and no word of a lie, but in came Daniel O’Donnell with a load of fish and chips.
“We sat and ate and laughed and joked and just told amazing stories, about Steo. It was an amazing thing to do, a magical thing to do.
“We saw him off with joy and not sorrow.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Tedder is plagued during his sleep by a recurring nightmare
The OneRepublic frontman – who has penned hits for the likes of Beyonce and Adele – has a regular dream in which he is told he has failed his physical education course at college and cannot graduate from school.
Speaking about the troubling vision, he told the BBC: “I’ve had this one since college. It’s the last week of school, and I get a call from a professor saying, ‘You didn’t come to my class once this entire semester and I’m failing you, so you’re not going to graduate.’
The 37-year-old ‘Kids’ songwriter’s dream has its basis in reality, as he was actually listed to be taking part in a PE course that he had no idea about while he was a student at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma and it almost got him flunked.
Ryan – who graduated from ORU in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Advertising – explained: “You know why I have that dream? Because that actually happened. I was enrolled on a physical education course, but I didn’t know and I missed every lesson. The guy said the only way he’d pass me was if I came in the next three days in a row, and ran two miles, then three miles, then five miles. And I had to do each one in a certain time. The three-mile race I had to do in 22 minutes, so a seven-minute mile, and I almost died.
After I did it, the guy looked at me and he shook his head, and he said, ‘You’re lucky you’re in decent shape because I was ready to fail you.’ ”
Despite his recurring nightmare, Ryan has proved that failing isn’t an option for him and his One Republic bandmates who have won a host of awards and have just released their fifth album ‘Oh My My’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jason Donovan took “years” to get over his relationship with Kylie Minogue.
The former ‘Neighbours’ co-stars dated for three years until 1989 and the ‘Too Many Broken Hearts’ singer was devastated when she left him to embark on a romance with his idol, the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.
Speaking to Closer magazine, he said: “It was bad enough that she’d run off with anybody. But she happened to run into the arms of the greatest rock god of the period, the very guy I secretly wanted to be. That was a pretty big punch to take.
“It was an extremely painful parting of the ways and, without doubt, I took a long time to recover from it. Years, definitely.”
Despite being so close for such a long time, Jason, 48, admits he is no longer in touch with Kylie – who is now engaged to Joshua Sasse – and can’t remember when they last spoke.
The 48-year-old star – who has children Jemma, 16, Zac, 15, and Molly, five, with his wife Angela Malloch – admitted: “Kylie and I had an incredible time together but we drifted apart. I can’t remember the last time I spoke to her, it was years ago.”
The ‘Ten Good Reasons’ hitmaker is thankful social media wasn’t prevalent when he was together with Kylie at the height of his fame because he would have felt inhibited by the glare of the camera phone.
Jason – who has overcome substance abuse issues – said: “I was living an extraordinary life, travelling the world and doing what every young bloke would have liked to do, so it was all pretty awesome.
“I feel sorry for young stars today, who have to come with everyone having cameras on their phones. It’d be a lot easier to get yourself into trouble.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Take That won’t tour until 2018.
The ‘Could It Be Magic’ hitmakers celebrate 25 years together in 2017, but won’t be performing live to celebrate for some time afterwards as they want part-time member Robbie Williams – who will go on a solo tour next year – to join them on stage, though former bandmate Jason Orange won’t be back
Speaking to the new issue of HELLO! magazine, Gary Barlow – who is joined in the band by Mark Owen and Howard Donald – said: “We are still trying to work out the reunion.
“We are looking at a tour in 2018 and we’ll drop the album at the very end of next year. But these things can change, at the moment that’s what we are hoping for. Robbie will hopefully come along but Jason is happy staying where he is for now.”
Robbie recently admitted he was keen to return to Take That again, but would be too busy with his solo work to do so next year.
He said: “When is the 25th anniversary? Next year? 2017? I don’t know if I can. I have plans, I have a tour, there’s stuff to be doing. I don’t think it’ll be next year but I think it’ll be at some point.
“I’m a floating member. And I’m really proud of what we do and what we create when I’m in the band. We’ll wait and see when our paths collide but I don’t think it’s going to be next year.”
And the 42-year-old musician – who releases his eleventh studio album ‘The Heavy Entertainment Show’ in November – was disappointed that Jason decided to leave the band because it affects the group’s “chemistry” but appreciates his decision.
He added: “What did I make of Jason leaving? This line of work is not for everybody and I don’t think this line of work is for Jay, for whatever reasons. Whatever reasons they are, they’re good reasons and enough for him to act on it and to take himself away from the whole thing.
“And I think that’s a shame for Take That because chemistry is chemistry and what the boys have got and what we’ve got is really special, and when somebody leaves it depletes it. But I think that Jason really has to live Jason’s life. What would I like? I’d like for him to be in Take That. OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden feared ‘The Late Late Show’ was going to be a disaster in America.
The 38-year-old star took over hosting duties of the talk show from Craig Ferguson in March 2015 and although it has been a huge success for him he was very nervous that American audiences wouldn’t appreciate his British sense of humour and interview style.
He shared: “I wouldn’t have moved to America and taken on ‘The Late Late Show’ if I were a pessimist but at the same time it would have been very naive of me to speak publicly about it being successful before it had even started.
“I decided that the best thing to do was to say it would be a disaster. If it hadn’t of worked I could say, Yeah, well, I did say that.”
The show has proved to be far from a disaster with 1.28 million viewers a week and millions of YouTube views for his feature ‘Carpool Karaoke’ which has seen music superstars such as Adele, Britney Spears and Justin Bieber join him behind the wheel for a sing-a-long.
Even though he is riding high in the ratings, the former ‘Into the Woods’ actor is already thinking about what he can do next as a project.
Corden – who has two children, son Max, five, and 23-month-old daughter Carey, with his wife Julia – told Radio Times magazine: “My biggest worry is that I’ll run out of time – I really want to make the most of the time that I have. When you’re lying in your death bed, you’re not going to think, ‘Oh I wish I’d made one more TV show … I try to remember that all I’ve really got is right now. Everything that’s behind you is gone, everything in front of you is unknown, so if you try to do your best in the time that you’re here, then you will have a good and successful life.”
