OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Rod Stewart received his knighthood today (11.10.16).
The 71-year-old singer was honoured with the title by Prince William during a ceremony at Buckingham Palace which was attended by his wife Penny Lancaster and his sons Alastair, 10, and five-year-old Aiden, and the star admitted he wished his mother and father could’ve been there.
Speaking about meeting the Duke of Cambridge, Rod said: “We talked about music and he said, ‘It’s great that you’re still going,’ and I said, ‘I have to – I’ve got eight children!’
“He congratulated me on my long career – and I said how happy this made me. I just wish my mum and dad had been here to see it.”
Rod – who is now officially Sir Roderick – will meet Queen Elizabeth at a Royal Academy of Arts reception later today.
He previously thanked the 90-year-old monarch for the recognition, describing the knighthood as “a monumental honour”.
Rod added: “I couldn’t ask for anything more. I thank Her Majesty and promise to ‘wear it well’.”
British/Nigerian actor David Oyelowo – who played Martin Luther King, Jr. in 2014 movie ‘Selma’ – was given an OBE for his services to drama at the Palace on Tuesday morning.
The 40-year-old actor – who was given a Prince’s Trust grant during the early years of his career – said: “To be honoured by the queen in this way having been aided by her son’s charity feels like a beautiful full-circle moment.”
Penny previously revealed Rod was in shock and overcome with emotion when he found out he was going to be knighted.
She said: “He never expected it because he thought, I’ve had my award, I’ve been granted a CBE and he was very flattered and honoured by that. But this was a shock.
“He kept having to re-read the letter and literally collapsing on the sofa and going, ‘I can’t believe this, I can’t believe this!’ He was in tears about it, really emotional.”

OHMYGOSSIP — JoJo drank alcohol to help her “get out of her mind”.
The ‘Too Little Too Late’ hitmaker has had “many low points” in her life including being told she had to lose weight or she wouldn’t have an album released by a former record label.
She said: “I’ve had many low points, honestly. I thought, ‘How can I come back from this, you know, too much time has passed.’
“I was depressed, I was drinking a lot because I wanted to get out of my mind. I’m being totally honest … I just wanted to feel good and get out of my mind and that was obviously trying to fill a hole that I had.”
And the 25-year-old singer admits she has lost her confidence partly because of what has happened in the past.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I don’t feel confident one thousand per cent of the time, but oftentimes I write the songs that I need to hear, with the messages that I need to.
“I feel like, particularly as females, sometimes we apologise for taking up space … for taking the moves that we need to make, whether we realise that we’re being apologetic for it. So, it really is just about knowing who you are, digging who you are, not making excuses to make other people feel comfortable.”
Meanwhile, JoJo previously opened up about her battle with her former record label.
She shared: “Here’s something that I agreed to do that ended up messing with me psychologically. I was under a lot of pressure with a company I was at previously and they wanted me to lose weight fast.
“So they got me with a nutritionist and had me, like, on all these supplements, and I was injecting myself – this is a common thing ‘the girls’ do all the way – it makes your body only need certain calories, so I ate 500 calories a day. It was the most unhealthy thing I’ve ever done. I felt like, ‘If I don’t do this, my album won’t come out.’ Which it didn’t! So it’s not like it even worked!”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West’s robbers were reportedly very hesitant.
The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star is believed to have told police investigating the incident that those who stole jewellery from her whilst holding her at gunpoint seemed to be amateurs.
She claims they put her in the bathtub and took her out again, whilst also randomly deciding to point the gun a second time. The 35-year-old star – who has North, three, and 10-month-old Saint, with her husband Kanye West – also told police how the robbers seemed to be arguing, although she wasn’t sure as they spoke in French, a source close to Kim has told TMZ.
Meanwhile, an insider previously claimed the robbers deliberately dropped items to make the police believe “they were amateurs”.
A source said: “They wanted us to believe that they were amateurs, but all the real clues point to them being extremely sophisticated professionals.
“There is no way a gang like this would drop stuff and fall off bicycles — all that was done for any cameras that might be in the area. It is far more likely that they played around on bikes for a few minutes after stealing the jewels, and when they still had their masks on, before they all got into a van and disappeared.”
And Kim was said to be “hysterical” when she made a call to her husband following the incident.
An insider said at the time: “Kim was terrified. She was just hysterical when she talked to Kanye. He said she was really upset and it took him a few seconds to understand what she was saying to him.
“He wanted to get to her as soon as he could. He told her that he couldn’t care less about the jewellery; he’s just thankful that she’s okay.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Clarkson “would die” if she got pregnant again.
The ‘Since U Been Gone’ hitmaker – who has River Rose, two, and five-month-old Remington Alexander, with her husband Brandon Blackstock – insists she won’t be having any more children as pregnancy is always “horrible” for her.
She said: “Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, you’re getting your tubes tied…’ No, they’re gone. My husband, like, while I was pregnant we agreed that he was going to get snipped …
“We have magical babies together … They’re amazing, but I have the worst pregnancies. I would die if I had to do it again. It was horrible.”
And whilst the 34-year-old singer’s pregnancies were painful and difficult, she doesn’t regret having her two kids.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, she added: “Nausea is for weak people. It was, like, hospitalisation. It’s, like, bad. I had the worst pregnancies ever. I would end up in the hospital, dehydrated. People had to come to our house and I’d be on fluids.
“Apparently that’s what it takes to make amazing babies, because they’re both stellar. We’ve made them and it’s done.”
Meanwhile, Kelly recently revealed she feels “way more empowered” as a mother.
She said: “Having kids cuts out all the bulls**t in the sense that I don’t have time to do stuff I don’t want to do anymore. I don’t have time to make you feel like it was your idea. I just don’t have time for it anymore, so it definitely cuts through the bulls**t and you just go straight for what you want …
“It sounds so cheesy, but I feel way more confident, way more empowered and way more like I’ve got this. OHMYGOSSIP — Priyanka Chopra has nine passports.
The ‘Baywatch’ star flies around the world so much that she has amassed a hefty number of travel documents.
She said: “Yes, flying is my favourite time. I use it to sleep, especially on the 16-hour Mumbai to Los Angeles flight. You can sleep eight hours and still have eight hours when you wake up. I read scripts and decide what films I’m going to do. And I usually land and head straight to work.
“For example, when I was finishing work on ‘Bajirao Mastani’, I also was taping for ‘Quantico’. Even ‘Baywatch’ I shot on the weekends of ‘Quantico’. I have nine passports! I’m on at least six flights a month.”
And the 34-year-old actress admits she is a bit of a “nomad” and hasn’t decided where she’d like to settle down.
She told Condé Nast Traveller magazine: “I’m more of a West Coast kind of girl. I like the chill of Los Angeles. But I’m a nomad.
“And look at the world we live in today, we can literally get on a plane, go somewhere for five hours, have lunch, and come back. Why do you have to commit? I have commitment issues anyway.”
With all the flying between countries, it is no surprise that Priyanka hasn’t really had time to date.
She said: “I’ve never dated. I’ve always been in relationships. It’s very different. You like someone, you court each other, you get into a relationship.
“You’re answerable to each other. Whereas the nonanswerability of dating, my god, I don’t know if I would ever be able to. I’ve never done it, so I don’t know.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Armie Hammer is a “family man”.
The ‘Man from U.N.C.L.E.’ star – who has Harper, 22 months, with his wife Elizabeth Chambers – likes it best when he has his close family near him.
He told C For Men magazine’s Fall 2016 issue: “I’m a family man. I cook breakfast for everybody. We’ll go to the park, to visit friends, to art galleries …
“We’re living life in Los Angeles through the eyes of a 2-year old. You’re experiencing things that have always been there with fresh eyes.”
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old actor previously revealed being a father is “the best thing in the world.”
He said: “It’s great. It’s the best thing in the world. It’s sort of a whole new perspective. I don’t even want to sleep anymore. I just want to stay up and spend time [with my daughter]. I don’t want to miss a smile. It’s the best. I love it. Without getting too sappy, it’s great!”
And Armie also recently admitted he never thought he would settle down until he met Elizabeth.
He added: “I was always the guy who thought I’d never get married because [I thought], ‘There’s never going to be one woman worth giving up all the others.’ But she knocked me off my feet.”
Armie and his family have even more good news after they revealed they are expecting a second child.

OHMYGOSSIP — Margot Robbie has “never met anyone” like Cara Delevingne.
The ‘Suicide Squad’ star has gushed about her co-star, who she has dubbed a “rare gem in this world”.
She said: “She is a rare gem in this world and I’ve just never met anyone like her.
“She is the most genuine person you can ever meet and there’s nothing calculated about that girl. She’s like a little comet just blasting her way through this world.”
The 26-year-old actress – who hails from Australia – has spent a lot of time in the UK and is more than happy to try some of the country’s delicacies including black pudding.
She told Glamour magazine: “At my first bite of black pudding, I was like ‘yum’ and then someone said it’s dried blood and I was like ‘I can’t’. Once I knew, I couldn’t get past it. I tried but I can’t.”
Meanwhile, Margot previously described Cara as her “new drinking buddy”.
She shared: “What made working on the film even more amazing was that I found my new drinking buddy in Cara. It’s no myth about the British being able to drink, Cara is hardcore. I struggle to keep up. But we have the most fun ever. She is definitely now one of my drinking buddies for life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre cried when he found out his wife was pregnant.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ singer was stunned when spouse Emily and their two-year-old daughter Amelia handed him a gift-wrapped pregnancy test and initially didn’t realise what they were trying to tell him.
Emily said: “Millie and I wrapped up the test and put it in a little bag. When Pete got home I told him we had got him a present. He didn’t get it and was just looking at the test. He thought I’d just bought one to do!.
“Pete started crying when I told him I was pregnant. He was really happy.”
While they are excited about their impending new arrival, the 27-year-old doctor recently had to go to hospital as she has been having contractions.
However, she insists everything is fine with her and the unborn baby.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “I had to go to the hospital two weeks ago because I’m having contractions already, which makes me think this baby could come early like Amelia.
“I rang my mum [who is a paediatrician] and said they were happening every two minutes.
“I thought she would say it was fine but she told me to go to the hospital.
“They hooked me up to a monitor. The doctors don’t know why I’m having them, but the baby is happy, healthy and moving around.”
After having Amelia three weeks early, Emily and Peter – who also has son Junior, 11, and daughter Princess, nine – are prepared for their new baby to also come before her due date so are trying to be as organised as possible.
Emily said: “I could end up having the baby really close to Christmas.
“We’re just going to make sure we’re super-organised for when the baby arrives.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Hart “messed up” his first marriage.
The ‘Central Intelligence’ star was married to Torrei Hart from 2003 to 2011 and admits when he tied the knot, he didn’t “really understand the definition of marriage”.
He said: “I was young on my first marriage. I’m not ashamed to say it, guys. I got married at the age of 22.
“I was still all over the place. I didn’t really understand the definition of marriage. I wasn’t ready for it, so I take responsibility. I can say I messed my first marriage up. I’m man enough to say that.”
Joking about the situation, he quipped: “At the same time, that was when I was in the prime of my sexy, so don’t blame me. That’s when I was figuring it out.”
Despite their split, Kevin works hard with his ex spouse to co-parent their two children, Hendrix, eight, and Heaven, 11.
He added: “I will say that me and my ex-wife, regardless of the problems we went through, are in an amazing place now where we’re friends, we’re great parents, we’re co-parents.”
And the 37-year-old actor and comedian admits he was nervous about marrying his now-wife Eniko Parrish earlier this year as it was a “big step”.
Speaking to Chelsea Handler on her Netflix show, he shared: “To make this step is a big step. It took me some time. It took seven years.
“And then I was like, ‘You know what? She deserves it, because I can’t keep just letting this walk around free. That’s not fair to her. I got to lock this up.’ I’m talking about my body. That’s what I’m talking about.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Kesha has filed a protective order against Dr. Luke to keep her personal medical records confidential.
The 29-year-old singer – who is involved in an ongoing legal battle with the record producer – is said to have filed the order to ensure “her personal medical records, any diagnoses, or the names of any of her medical providers” remain private.
According to the legal papers, which were filed on Monday (10.10.16) and obtained by E!, Kesha’s lawyer James Pearl has insisted more than 900 pages of her records, “including gynecological, psychiatric, and rehabilitation records going back more than 10 years”, have been provided to the court.
But Dr. Luke – who Kesha has accused of sexual assault – is said to have rejected the protective order request.
The documents state: “Her position as a world-renowned recording artist in whom there is great public interest renders any potential disclosure of those records potentially harmful to her personal and economic interests.”
Luke’s lawyer Christine Lepra also insists Kesha should disclose her medical records because the ‘Tik Tok’ hitmaker made “public accusations” against her client.
She told PEOPLE: “Because Kesha made public accusations and in the case that she was allegedly harmed by Dr. Luke, the Court ordered her to produce her medical records.
“Now, Kesha wants to hide her records, while continuing to make self-serving, selective and misleading statements to hurt my clients publicly.”
Kesha originally filed legal documents seeking to have her contract with the producer dissolved after accusing him of sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abusing her for almost a decade.
In response to her lawsuit, which was filed in October 2014, Luke filed a counter-suit against the ‘Die Young’ singer, accusing her of defamation.
Kesha is contractually bound to make three more albums with Dr. Luke and his Kemosabe Records label, which is owned by Sony, and can’t record any more music until she is released from it.

OHMYGOSSIP — Michelle Williams is in talks to portray Janis Joplin in a biopic about the 60s rock icon.
Deadline reports that the 36-year-old actress is in early negotiations for the lead role in ‘Janis’, which is being helmed by Sean Durkin and is based on a book called ‘Love Janis’ by the late star’s sister Lauren Joplin.
The book contains letters penned by the ‘Piece of My Heart’ hitmaker – who died in 1970 at the age of 27 from a heroin overdose – which she’d sent to her family and friends about her rise to fame from playing coffee shops to rocking the main stage at Woodstock music festival, and how her substance abuse and alcohol addiction fuelled her creativity.
The letters have previously featured in a documentary about the star by Amy Berg called ‘Janis: Little Girl Blue’, which was released in 2015.
There have been several attempts to put out a biopic by several different filmmakers and a whole host of stars have been in talks to portray the late rocker including Renee Zellweger, Pink and Amy Adams.
According to Vulture, ‘Janis’ will document the last six months of Joplin’s life including the recording of her final LP ‘Pearl’ and the lead up to her death.
And it wouldn’t be the first time the ‘Drive’ star has taken on the role of a major Hollywood star affected by drugs.
Michelle previously portrayed Marilyn Monore on the big-screen in 2011’s ‘My Week with Marilyn’.
Her most recent credits include ‘Manchester by the Sea’, and ‘Certain Woman’, which she starred alongside Kristen Stewart in, and she is currently gearing up for ‘The Greatest Showman on Earth’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ben Affleck keeps his kids’ artwork in his trailer.
The ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’ star likes to have a constant reminder of his children – Violet, 10, Seraphina, seven, and Samuel, four – with him on set so he takes to displaying their work around his place.
Asked what he likes to keep in his trailer on set, he said: “[It’s] mostly stuff from my kids. It’s the only personal stuff I have – the drawings and art. It’s a good place to hang up the latest artwork to come out of school.”
And the 44-year-old actor also revealed he works hard to share the parental duties with his wife Jennifer Garner despite their split but admits homework isn’t one of his strong points.
He added to Entertainment Tonight: “We do our best. We try our best … My areas of expertise with the kids [are] spotty at best. Not homework. I only play an accountant in the movie. In real life, I’m badly wanting.”
Meanwhile, Ben previously admitted he has felt “vulnerable” ever since he first became a father.
He said: “When you have kids, what’s that expression, ‘Your heart is outside your body,’ all of the sudden you feel so vulnerable and this fear of a child being vulnerable is very very powerful.

The ‘Central Intelligence’ star attended the ceremony in Hollywood on Monday (10.10.16) alongside his family – his wife Eniko Parrish and his children, Heaven, 11, and Hendrix, eight – and he admitted he was left speechless by the honour.

“My daughter wants to be an entertainer so bad, I’m just holding her back until she’s 18. I made a daddy decision to hold her back until she’s of age and then we can pursue whatever dream we want.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kimberley Walsh says Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is “over the moon” she’s expecting a second child.
The Girls Aloud singer – who already has two-year-old Bobby with her husband Justin Scott – has revealed her close pal’s excitement about her pregnancy as Kimberley, 34, had told Cheryl, 33, she’d always planned on having children of similar ages.
Kimberley told OK! magazine: “Cheryl knew I wanted to have my children close together so she’s happy that I’ve got another on the way. I’m sure she expected it in a way but she’s still over the moon for me.”
It comes days after Kimberley praised Cheryl for being wonderful with children, amid speculation that the former ‘X Factor’ coach could be pregnant with her first child with One Direction singer Liam Payne.
The blonde beauty said Cheryl – who struck up a relationship with Liam, 23, in December, just a few months after she split from her second husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini – will be a “brilliant mum” when she decides to have her own family.
She previously said: “She’s really happy right now. And she’ll be a brilliant mum. She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she’s used to the madness of children.”
While Cheryl and Liam have yet to comment on the pregnancy speculation, her former ‘X Factor’ boss, Simon Cowell seemingly added fuel to the fire in July when he said she’d make a great mother because she’s a “natural” with his two-year-old son Eric.
He said at the time: “I guess that is what happens when you are with someone. Cheryl would be an amazing mum.

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian West’s Paris robbers used a decoy to escape.
Police investigating the theft – which saw the 35-year-old beauty lose over $10 million worth of property to a group of men who raided her Paris apartment – reportedly discovered a tiny gemstone close to the residence on Sunday (09.10.16), but now think it might be a decoy used to make police “believe that they were amateurs”.
A police official told Us Weekly magazine: “They wanted us to believe that they were amateurs, but all the real clues point to them being extremely sophisticated professionals. There is no way a gang like this would drop stuff and fall off bicycles — all that was done for any cameras that might be in the area. It is far more likely that they played around on bikes for a few minutes after stealing the jewels, and when they still had their masks on, before they all got into a van and disappeared.”
The source explained that the burglars set up a “double bluff” in which one of the five men fell off his bicycle whilst another pretended to drop a piece of jewellery as they fled.
The gem that was found was reportedly of much lower worth that the rest of the haul, which the source said was because it was part of their escape plan, and so they chose a lower valued item to drop.
It was previously reported that police were hoping the dropped gem would lead to the capture of the criminals, as they hoped it would mean the gang made more mistakes along the way.
A source said previously: “A piece of stolen jewellery was found close to the block, and was presumably dropped by the gang. It suggests that the criminals may have made mistakes because they were in such a hurry.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Ansel Elgort as spoken out in defence of Shailene Woodley following her arrest.
The 24-year-old actress was arrested on Monday (10.10.16) after she was caught trespassing on the construction site for the Dakota Access Pipeline during a peaceful protest against proposed plans to transport crude oil.
Now, her ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ co-star Ansel has spoken out in her defence, urging his Twitter followers to read about the cause she was fighting for.
Alongside a link to a news article about the pipeline plans, the 22-year-old actor wrote: “SHAI WAS ARRESTED TODAY for protesting the North Dakota Pipeline. Read about what she was protesting here (sic)”
Writer of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ novel John Green also took to Twitter to show his support for the star, saying he “deeply admires” her.
He said: “@ShaileneWoodley walks the walk, and I deeply admire her determined and passionate activism. (sic)”
Meanwhile, Maggie Q posted a news article about the arrest with the caption: “You can arrest someone but you CANNOT silence them… (sic)”
The ‘Divergent’ actress was among a reported 100 protestors who turned up to the construction site for a peaceful protest, amid concerns that the pipeline project – which crosses the Missouri river – could potentially cause irreversible harm to the drinking water as well as the river’s ecosystem.
Speaking in a video, she said: “I was just walking back to the RV which is right there, so we could go back to camp peacefully. They grabbed me by the jacket and they said I wasn’t allowed to continue. They have giant guns and batons and zip ties and they’re not letting me go.
“I’m being arrested! I was down there with everybody else! I don’t know what’s going on, as soon as they came I left. It’s because I’m well known, it’s because I have 40,000 people watching.”
