OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Charles has led tributes to his goddaughter Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.
The 68-year-old British royal and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, said they were “deeply saddened” by the news that Tara had passed away at her home in London on Wednesday (08.02.17) afternoon at the age of 45.
In a statement, they said: “We are deeply saddened and our thoughts are so much with the family.”
Family friend Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, also paid tribute to Tara, who she said had a “magnificent and beautifully energetic soul”.
She said in a statement: “The York Family are so shocked by this tragic news of the magnificent, beautifully energetic soul of Tara. My mother, Susie Barrantes, was her very proud godmother, and she adored her. We are all deeply shocked and saddened and send all our love and strength to the family in Dummer.”
A police spokesperson confirmed they were called to a property in London and says the death is currently “being treated as unexplained”.
They said: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service at approximately 13:40hrs on Wednesday, 8 February to an address in Bramham Gardens, SW5.
“A woman, aged in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed. The death is being treated as unexplained. At this early stage, police are not treating the death as suspicious. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. The Coroner has been informed.”
The socialite had revealed a year ago that she had a brain tumour and was convinced she had just “weeks to live” when doctors broke the news to her.
She said at the time: “I went to the doctors to talk about my latest blood test results when I got back from skiing in January. I said, ‘What does this mean? Can you translate it?’ And the doctor said, ‘As I suspected, you have a brain tumour.’ I got terribly frightened. I started thinking, ‘I’m going to die, I’m going to die. I’ve only got a couple of weeks to live.’ Stuff like that.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Drew Barrymore felt her “whole life was falling apart” when she split from Will Kopelman.
The ‘Santa Clarita Diet’ star – who plays a zombie real estate agent in the Netflix series – can relate to her character’s “awakening” and enjoyed being able to have an “outlet” for her emotions after she split from Will.
She said: “I think this woman is going through an awakening … I loved getting to have that outlet. It was a safe place for me to spend my summer while my whole life was just sort of falling apart.
“I was just in a really low point and I read the script and it made me laugh and it made me feel something. It took me out of my own world that wasn’t super pleasant at the time and I thought, ‘Maybe other people wanna be take out of their unpleasant times and be transported into something that’s cool and different.”
And the 41-year-old actress – who has Olive, four, and Frankie, two, with her former spouse – admits the role was a “total metaphor” for her life and enjoyed being back at work after a bit of a lull.
Speaking at a Netflix panel to promote her show ‘Santa Clarita Diet’, she shared: “I really was excited about playing a woman who was becoming empowered, losing weight, pulling her s**t together. Finding that when your life really does fall apart, you don’t ditch everything in it. You have to become you and take all the wonderful things in it and just find these new roads. And for me, it was a total metaphor for my life. I felt really lucky.
“I hadn’t been working for years … I was a mom who was raising her kids and I stepped aside and put everything on the back burner. I did like two movies in eight years, I just wasn’t participating in a lot of aspects so this to me was such a lucky fortunate thing.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Harry Shearer has reunited with the co-creators of ‘This Is Spinal Tap’ to sue entertainment group Vivendi for £320 million.
The 73-year-old actor launched legal action against the mass media conglomerate for creating a “fraudulent campaign” to hide revenue and deny profits from the cult 1984 musical comedy film back in October, and after enlisting Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Rob Reiner to join him the law suit, the damages request has been upped by a staggering £195 million, The Guardian newspaper reports.
On his former colleagues joining him in the on-going legal battle, the ‘Simpson’s voice actor said: “Their participation will help demonstrate the opaque and misleading conduct at the heart of this case. We’re even louder now.”
Guest branded Vivendi’s actions “outrageous” and has vowed to challenge them until the very end.
He said: “The deliberate obfuscation by Vivendi and its subsidiaries is an outrage. It is vital that such behavior is challenged in the strongest way possible.”
And McKean has called for a “reckoning” as he agrees they were not given the right amount of profits for their hard work.
He said: “‘This Is Spinal Tap’ was the result of four very stubborn guys working very hard to create something new under the sun. The movie’s influence on the last three decades of film comedy is something we are very proud of. But the buck always stopped somewhere short of Rob, Harry, Chris and myself. It’s time for a reckoning. It’s only right.”
While Reiner says Vivendi need to be “exposed” and made reference to a line in the movie, “up to 11”, referring to the amplifier on guitarist Nigel Tufnel’s guitar, but stating that he hopes the “lawsuit goes to 11”.
He added: “Fair reward for artistic endeavor has long been raised by those on the wrong end of the equation.
“What makes this case so egregious is the prolonged and deliberate concealment of profit and the purposeful manipulation of revenue allocation between various Vivendi subsidiaries – to the detriment of the creative talent behind the band and film. Such anti-competitive practices need to be exposed. I am hoping this lawsuit goes to 11.”
Shearer previously claimed Vivendi – who acquired the film in 1989 – reported a total merchandising income of just $81 (£66) for the 22 years between 1984 and 2006, and that total income from music sales was a mere $98 (£79).

OHMYGOSSIP — Allison Williams’ hectic work life has saved her from a “spiral of anxiety”.
The 28-year-old actress, who is known for playing Marnie Michaels in the popular series ‘Girls’ and has been cast in an upcoming thriller ‘Get Out’, is grateful she is inundated with acting roles because it prevents her from wasting her spare time constantly worrying about not being interesting enough.
Speaking to Allure magazine about her chaotic schedule and her frantic mind, she said: “The fact that I’m working on all these other things means that I’m not spending my spare time in a spiral of anxiety.
“It feels much better to work tirelessly on all these other things that are kind of unsolvable and thus deeply satisfying than to just sit somewhere and think, ‘How do I harden myself publicly? How do I make myself seem edgier when I truly lead an un-edgy life?’ I mean, then I got married, and now I have this dog who’s perfect. It just gets worse and worse.”
And Allison is glad she has her work as she doesn’t believe a dosage of antidepressants would be able to cure her anxiety and keep her “sane”.
She quipped: “Because ten milligrams of Lexapro is not enough to keep me sane about the amount of worry that I have about all of it.”
And Allison – who married Ricky Van Veen in 2015 – believes her life would have taken another direction if she had have included her middle name, Howell, into her professional title.
She said: “I think if I’d used my middle name professionally – Howell Williams – I’d have a totally different career. I’d be an indie darling. I’d be fighting with Greta Gerwig for parts.”
However, Dame Julie Andrews had too strong a hold on her as studying her films encouraged Allison to “exist” and pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jodie Marsh has claimed women should be sterilised at birth.
On Tuesday night (07.02.17) the 38-year-old star tuned in to watch ‘Moorside’ – the controversial BBC One drama series that tells the true story of the faked disappearance of Shannon Matthews and the repercussions on the local community – and was outraged by the actions of the youngster’s mother Karen.
After a £50,000 reward was put up in a bid to locate the missing school girl, Shannon was found 24 days after she went missing hidden in the base of a divan bed at the home of her step-father’s uncle and it later emerged her mum had known just where her daughter was all time.
Stunned Jodie was so appalled by the 2008 crime, she has now called for all women to be sterilised until they can prove they are worthy of having children.
She tweeted: “Just watched #Moorside – Karen Matthews CAN’T be mentally stable?! She surely needs to be in a psychiatric unit somewhere?! She’s dangerous. I’d go as far as to say that it’s ppl like Karen Matthews who make me think we should all be sterilised from birth then vetted to have kids…” (sic)
She went on to explain her outspoken comment and clarified: “A similar process to adoption. Once vetted & deemed ok to have kids, the sterilisation gets reversed…because HOW that woman was simply allowed (i.e. She shouldn’t have been allowed) to have SEVEN children is totally beyond me…”
Despite finding the harrowing storyline uncomfortable viewing, Jodie was full of praise for its stars Gemma Whelan – who played Karen Matthews – and Sheridan Smith as neighbour Julie Bushby.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden wants to make ‘The Late, Late Show’ “sillier”.
The 38-year-old comic is keen to try new things with his popular nightly talk show and is even considering taking the programme out on location for a period of time.
He said: “I’m always keen to try new things visually, with openings and sketches. I’d like to film the show somewhere else for a week.
“This is what I was writing just this morning. Visually better. More ambitious. And also sillier. Those three things.”
There have been rumours that James’ show will move an hour earlier to take the 11.30pm slot currently occupied by Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Show’, but the British star insists the speculation is “embarrassing” and unlikely to come true.
He said: “It just seems sort of silly to me. I really love him.
“So I always find it slightly embarrassing. I really don’t think there’s any substantial evidence at all. I really don’t think it exists.”
And the former ‘Gavin and Stacey’ actor gets frustrated when people are surprised at the quality of guests he is able to attract onto the show because he knows there is more to being successful in the digital age than having a peak time slot.
He told Esquire magazine: “The only time I get really like, ‘What are you talking about?’ is when anyone will talk about time slots. Which is like telling the time with a sundial. Just the very notion of a television schedule for a show like this is absurd to me. I got really cross when we did that ‘Carpool…’ with Adele and someone wrote, ‘How did a 12:30 talk-show host get Adele?’ And I’m like, ‘What world are you living in?’ That clip has been viewed 129 million times. Those are Super Bowl numbers.”
James – who has children Max, five, and Carey, two, with wife Julia – has caused a stir with the quirky skits and sketches on the show, but also sparked outrage in the early days of the programme simply by reversing the traditional talk show set-up and placing himself to the left of his guests.
He recalled: “Even just having the seats the other way around. I mean, the intake of breath. ‘It just isn’t done!’ I was like, ‘Are you f***ing kidding me?’ ”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hiddleston had “the best time” with Taylor Swift.
The 35-year-old actor briefly dated the ‘Bad Blood’ hitmaker last summer and though they weren’t together for long, the ‘Thor’ star will always cherish his dates with the “kind and lovely” singer.
He told GQ magazine: “Taylor Swift is an amazing woman. She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time.”
It was Taylor’s Fourth of July party at her Rhode Island home which saw Tom get mocked on social media for hanging out with her close pals wearing an ‘I heart T.S’ tank top.
But the ‘Crimson Peak’ star couldn’t believe that the “joke” garment turned into such an online sensation.
Speaking about how he came to wear the top, Tom explained: “The truth is, it was the Fourth of July and a public holiday and we were playing a game and I slipped and hurt my back. And I wanted to protect the graze from the sun and said, ‘Does anyone have a T-shirt?’ And one of her friends said, ‘I’ve got this’ and we all laughed about it. It was a joke. I have to be so psychologically strong about not letting other people’s interpretations about my life affect my life.
“I was just surprised that it got so much attention. The tank top became an emblem of this thing.”
Taylor and Tom – who were branded ‘HiddleSwift’ – travelled to Rhode Island, Nashville, Italy, Australia and the UK during their time together but their whirlwind romance is something which Tom revealed he has “no regrets”.
He gushed: “I only know the woman I met. She’s incredible. A relationship in the limelight… A relationship always takes work. A relationship in the limelight takes work. And it’s not just the limelight. It’s everything else. So we decided to go out for dinner, we decided to travel.
“Because you have to fight for love. You can’t live in fear of what people might say. You know, you have to be true to yourself.”
And whilst many fans branded their relationship ‘fake’, Tom has admitted he is still trying to find a balance between his personal life and fame in a bid to move on.

The 45-year-old socialite – who revealed a year ago she had a brain tumour – was found dead at her London home on Wednesday (08.02.17) afternoon.

OHMYGOSSIP — Mel Gibson’s son is a “little pig”.
The ‘Hacksaw Ridge’ filmmaker and partner Rosalind Ross welcomed baby Lars into the world last month and the 61-year-old star is delighted with how quickly the tot has growing and developing.
He said: “He great, he’s growing, he’s eating like a little pig and is doing just great.
“He even smiles. Two weeks old, he has a grin going, so something’s funny — I don’t know what.”
Mel is up for the Best Director prize at the Academy Awards later this month and his partner will be by his side on the red carpet.
He told ‘Extra’: “She certainly will [be there]. She already looks like a million bucks.”
The nomination is Mel’s first since he won the Best Director award for his work on ‘Braveheart’ in 1996 and he enjoyed catching up with old friends at the Oscar nominee luncheon earlier this week – even if his pal and Best Actor nominee Denzel Washington did give him some “brutally honest” advice.
He said: “20 years ago is the last time I did one of the lunches.
“I bumped into Denzel… He was brutally honest and told me I need to go to the gym. I was like, ‘OK — you, too.'”
But if he does with the award, the Australian star – who also has seven kids, Hannah, 36, Christian, 34, Edward, 34, William, 31, Louis, 28, Milo, 26 and Thomas, 17, with ex-wife Robyn Moore and seven-year-old daughter Lucia with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva – won’t have a lot of time to celebrate as he’s very busy with work.

OHMYGOSSIP — Reese Witherspoon uses a “blend of a lot of different mothering styles.”
The 40-year-old actress – who has Ava, 17, and Deacon, 13, with ex-spouse Ryan Phillippe, and four-year-old son Tennessee with husband Jim Toth – always questions her parenting decisions but works hard to be the best mother she “possibly can be”.
She explained: “I think I’m sort of a blend of a lot of these different mothering styles. You have five different distinct parenting styles and we’re all just trying to be the best parents we possibly can be, so I think it’s always that question: Am I doing the right things? Am I exposing them to the right things? Am I disciplining the right way?”
The blonde beauty is currently executive producing and starring in the HBO miniseries ‘Big Little Lies’ in which she portrays Madeline Martha Mackenzie opposite her co-producer Nicole Kidman’s Celeste Wright and “worked so hard” to get the book of the same name penned by Liane Moriarty on to the small screen.
Speaking to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ at the show’s premiere in Los Angeles, she said: “I got nervous today, I don’t normally get nervous but I’m just so excited and it is such a passion project for me. Nicole [Kidman] and I worked so hard to get this book to the screen and put together this cast and find the director and the writer, so it’s just exciting to see the fruits of all that come here and see people excited about it.”
Reese took her daughter Ava along to the screening and recently admitted that she’s so “lucky” to have her in her life because she loves that she can attend events with her.
She said at the time: “I had a premiere for that movie ‘Sing!’ over Christmas, and the head of the studio went up to Ava and congratulated her on the movie.

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran duetted with Justin Bieber at a karaoke bar.
The 25-year-old singer met up with his friend in Tokyo, Japan, recently and they had a “weird” night out where they sang one another’s biggest hits before coming together for a rendition of ‘Love Yourself’, the 22-year-old Canadian pop star’s 2015 single which was written by the ‘Castle On The Hill’ hitmaker.
Speaking to MYXclusive, Ed said: “I quite like that that song is just having its own life somewhere.
“Me and Justin actually sung that on karaoke together two days ago.
“He was in Tokyo. It was a really weird night actually, a really weird night.
“We went to a bar called Train Bar and did some shots, then we went to a karaoke bar and sung our own song.
“He was singing my songs, so I was singing his songs… and then we both sang ‘Love Yourself’.”
Ed previously revealed ‘Love Yourself’ was initially written for his upcoming ‘÷’ album and he’s delighted with the success the track has had since he discarded it.
He said: “That was a song I had written for ‘÷’. It just wouldn’t have made it. And then Justin took it and did his thing on it, and released it as a single and made it what it is.
“So going from a song that would have never been released to [being] the biggest song of last year – it just became Billboard’s #1 of 2016 of the whole year, and [was] nominated for Song of the Year at the Grammys – it just shows you that you shouldn’t always write stuff off.”
Meanwhile, Justin previously praised Ed for being “super talented”.
He said: “He is a good guy, super talented. Really good songwriter so just to be able to work with that calibre of songwriter was really really awesome. We are boys, so we just go out and we’re mates.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Niall Horan was “surprised” how much £20 could buy when he went to Asia.
The 23-year-old singer went travelling when he and the other members of One Direction – Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson – decided to take a break from the music business and despite the group’s huge success he managed to backpack around the Far East on a budget.
Speaking on ‘The Chris Evans Breakfast Show’ on UK station BBC Radio 2 on Wednesday (08.02.17), the vocalist said: ” I have been on a break for a while and bring everything out later in the summer.
“I went backpacking across South East Asia last year. It was incredible. We went around Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia, for six weeks. We did it on a budget and it was brilliant. You’d be surprised what 20 quid a night gets you over in Asia.”
Meanwhile, the ‘This Town’ hitmaker is set to perform at the final of Radio 2’s 500 Words writing competition on February 23 at London’s Tower of London, but the star has admitted he has “never” stopped by the popular tourist attraction to admire the Crown Jewels.
He explained: “No, I actually haven’t been to the Tower of London. I love London.”
And he “can’t wait” to return to England’s capital to sing in an intimate gig, although he has noticed performances on TV are very “quiet” in comparison to live gigs or large concerts.
He said: “I can’t wait, I’m looking forward to it. [It will be] me and my guitar, it’s going to be chilled out in a small room. Not too busy. Performing on TV shows is pretty quiet, but not with a room full of kids.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price has finally forgiven her husband for cheating on her.
The former glamour model had repeatedly told Kieran Hayler she would always bear a grudge after he was unfaithful with her friend Jane Pountney in 2014, but after realising how much he has changed, she no longer holds his infidelity against him.
She said: “I trust him and for our wedding anniversary this year, I always said ‘I never forgive, I never forget’, I have actually said to him ‘I now forgive you, I do forget’ because I got to a point where I don’t have to worry about him.
“He’s changed so much, he’s proven himself and the best I could do is stay with him.”
The 38-year-old star – who has kids Jett, three, and Bunny, two, with Kieran and 14-year-old Harvey, Junior, 11, and Princess, nine, from previous relationships – revealed Kieran has now returned to social media for the first time since he was unfaithful after he and the therapist he saw for sex addiction treatment previously agreed it was best to remove temptation and stay away from the sites.
She said: “There was lots of other things that went on, to the point where one of my friends he was texting on social media, so this week he’s gone on Instagram, which for us is a big step.
“Since he got caught, he had to come off everything, him and the therapist [agreed it], because on these sites people can direct message you, anybody can, so he’s back on that [now].”
Katie believes it takes a stronger person to stay in a relationship fraught with problems than to just walk away, but she knows not everyone can do that.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’, she said: “I’m smiling now because everyone said, ‘Leave him, leave him’. It’s easier to walk away but it takes a strong person to stay. And I did stay…
“It’s alright people saying ‘well make a go of it’, but you have to make an effort.”
While she has forgiven Kieran, the blonde beauty admits she has often been tempted to “get him back” for his infidelity.

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce is reportedly being sued by the family of the late YouTuber Messy Mya.
The 35-year-old singer is facing legal action over her hit song ‘Formation’, which Messy’s family claim used samples taken from videos made by the rising YouTube star who was shot dead in 2010.
Beyonce is being sued for as much as $20 million, according to Forbes, which claims that Sony Music and Jay Z – who married the singer in 2008 – are also named in the lawsuit.
Back in 2015, Jay won an eight-year battle of his own over a sample used on his hit single ‘Big Pimpin’.
A judge in the US dismissed a claim made by Osama Fahmy, the nephew of Baligh Hamdi, an Egyptian composer whose 1957 song ‘Khosara Khosara’ features on the track.
The judge concluded that because Egyptian law does not apply in the US, the case should not go before a jury.
She said: “Fahmy lacked standing to pursue his claim. In light of that decision, it will not be necessary to submit to the jury whether ‘Big Pimpin’ infringed Khosara Khosara.”
Meanwhile, the proposed legal action against Beyonce comes shortly before she performs at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (12.02.17).
The singer-songwriter recently announced she is expecting twins with her husband and it’s been suggested she is planning a more toned-down performance at the annual awards bash at the Staples Center.
A source previously said: “She’ll be taking it easier than normal.”
Beyonce is currently going through rehearsals for her planned appearance and she will reportedly be supported by a giant digital screen that will act as a cover for her slower-than-usual performance.
Beyonce’s appearance is also expected to feature cameos from other artists, one of whom could be her husband, who starred alongside her at the Grammys in 2014.

OHMYGOSSIP — Drew Barrymore wants to get a tattoo that says “timing is everything” which is inspired by her zombie role in ‘Santa Clarita Diet’.
The 41-year-old actress already has several pieces of body art and she has started to think about getting that phrase inked onto her skin as a permanent reminder of her wonderful experience on the programme.
Drew plays zombie real estate agent Sheila Hammond in the Netflix series and admits she has felt completely invigorated by the role.
In an interview with the Metro newspaper, she said: “The next tattoo I get is going to say, ‘Timing is everything,’ because it really is. There’s a universal clock you cannot control and I just happened to find this wonderful story that was very healthy for me to do at this moment. It’s been a positive summer. I’ve lost a load of weight and I can’t say thank you enough!”
The reason for Drew’s weight loss is that her alter ego in the show must eat human flesh to stay alive and for the role she had to shift the pounds so her transformation into an undead housewife would look realistic.
The ‘Miss You Already’ star – who appears in the programme with Timothy Olyphant, who portrays Sheila’s husband Joel Hammond – “cut out sugar, wheat, soy, dairy, gluten, carbs and grains” to get in shape and she’s never felt better.
She said: “I eat mostly protein and veggies. Every time I see the crew eating something. I want to kill them … Sheila wants to feed, I can relate to her. In the food truck I stare at everybody like a seagull.”
Included among Drew’s tattoo collection is a “Breathe” inking on her left arm which she got to “remember the importance of everything and to keep breathing”, an outline of a bird on her right forearm, a butterfly on her stomach, a crescent moon on her toe, a bouquet of flowers on her hip, a cross on her lower right leg and two angels on her lower back – one of which represents her late mother Jaid.
Her most recent inking is of her daughters’ names on her wrist. Drew has Olive, four, and Frankie, two, with her ex-husband Will Kopelman.

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce will be taking it “easier than normal” at this year’s Grammy Awards.
The 35-year-old beauty is currently pregnant with twins and will, therefore, perform a more toned-down routine during the annual awards bash at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (12.02.17).
A source told TMZ: “She’ll be taking it easier than normal.”
Beyonce is currently in rehearsals for the show and while she has yet to finalise her performance, her on-stage antics will reportedly be supplemented by a giant digital screen that will create movement and cover for her slower-than-usual pace.
Beyonce’s performance will also feature cameo performances from other artists, although it remains to be seen whether she will be supported by her husband and rap star Jay Z, with whom she already shares five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
Beyonce announced her pregnancy via a post on Instagram, which quickly became the most liked picture in the history of the photo-sharing website.
The ‘Drunk in Love’ hitmaker’s snap smashed the already impressive record set by Selena Gomez, who achieved 6,315,187 likes with a picture of her drinking a can of Coca-Cola.
Beyonce captioned the record-breaking photograph: “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters (sic)”
Beyonce and Jay Z’s happy news also attracted a joyous reaction from their celebrity pals, many of whom took to Twitter to express their delight.
Rihanna wrote: “so excited about this news!!!! Congratulations to you @Beyonce and my big brother Jay!!!! (sic)”
Meanwhile, Beyonce’s close pal Chrissy Teigen said: “But really. Congrats to my best friend Beyonce I love you so much. Hive forever. (sic)”
