OHMYGOSSIP — Judy Garland was molested by some of the Munchkins on the set of ‘The Wizard of Oz’, according to her ex-husband.
Sid Luft, the third husband of the screen icon, claimed in a recently uncovered memoir that Judy was molested when she was just 16 by some of the adult men who played the diminutive Munchkin characters in the 1939 movie.
Sid wrote, according to The Sun newspaper: “They thought they could get away with anything because they were so small.
“They would make Judy’s life miserable on set by putting their hands under her dress. The men were 40 or more years old.”
Sid, who died in 2005, married the actress in 1952 and the couple had a daughter called Lorna and a son called Joey before divorcing 13 years later.
Judy, who is widely considered to be one of the greatest female stars in American cinema history, claimed Sid was a drunk and abusive towards her during their marriage.
In total, the award-winning actress married five times before she died of an accidental overdose in London aged 47.
In the memoir, Sid explains how her family never got over the tragedy of her death.
He wrote: “Emotionally, none of us ever overcame it.
“Judy Garland was a very rare mix of shattered nerves and insecurities, self-destructiveness, and suicidal tendencies but also a true genius.
“She was to me the greatest talent who ever lived.”
Sid also discussed Judy’s friendship with the late Marilyn Monroe.
He wrote of the ‘Gentlemen Prefer Blondes’ star’s visits to their home: “She’d sit by the fire, not talking much, a quiet presence.
“Marilyn was sweet and very unhappy. She’d chat with Judy and play with the children, hang out.
“She was separated from one of her husbands whom she complained was a nice person but said didn’t know how to make love to a woman. She’d hoped this pattern would change when they married. She was frustrated and disappointed.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lena Dunham suffers “more anxiety” than her ‘Girls’ character Hannah Horvath.
The 30-year-old creator, writer and star of the HBO TV series has revealed that although she shares a few personality traits with her on-screen character, she suffers from a different kind of anxiety than Hannah.
She shared: “At the end of the day, I would say I have more anxiety than Hannah, only because Hannah has very specific anxiety about what’s going to happen to her.
“‘Does this boy like me?’ ‘Did this job interview go OK?’ I’m slightly more aware of what’s happening on the planet, and I care more about how other people feel, so those are added elements to be anxious about.
“Sometimes when I have really bad anxiety, I do go, ‘Well, I’m just Hannah today. She has so many fewer problems than I do!’ And I’ll just put on ‘Stronger’ and be her. No one’s mad at her on Twitter!”
Lena has been diagnosed with a variety of different problems during her life, including separation anxiety, hypochondria and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
But thinks that the cocktail of drugs she was subsequently prescribed did her more harm than good.
She explained to Vulture: “I’m no doctor, even if I like to think I am, and I know now that they were over-prescribing for every single symptom that presented itself.”
Lena’s concerns came to a head in dramatic fashion one day when she was standing outside her house in Brooklyn, New York City, staring at a car in front of her.
She recalled: “I felt like, ‘I could just walk right in front of that car, and I wouldn’t have to worry about this again. Maybe other people can move around on these drugs, but I can’t do it.'”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lynn Spears’ eight-year-old daughter Maddie is doing “better and better” after she was involved in an ATV accident on Sunday (05.02.17).
Jamie Watson, Maddie’s stepfather, took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon (07.02.17) to provide an update on her health and to thank fans for their support following the dramatic incident at their family home in Kentwood, Los Angeles.
Alongside a photograph of a shirt bearing the words “believe in miracles”, Jamie wrote: “Thank you everyone for the prayers. Maddie is doing better and better. Thank y’all so much. (sic)”
In a recent statement, a representative for the Spears family confirmed Maddie is “aware of her surroundings and recognises those family members who have kept a round-the-clock vigil since the accident”.
The statement added that although Maddie “continues to receive oxygen” and is still being monitored closely by medical experts, she no longer requires the support of a ventilator in order to breathe and does not appear to “have suffered any neurological consequences from the accident”.
According to a police report, the incident occurred when Maddie was driving an ATV and she tried to avoid hitting a drainage ditch by taking a sharp right turn.
Maddie ended up heading straight towards a pond instead where she was submerged underwater for several minutes.
The police report read: “The ATV and child were instantly submerged in the water right before their eyes. Within seconds the child’s mother, stepfather and other family members reached the pond, dove in and attempted to rescue the child to no avail.
“The child was trapped and secured by the seatbelt and the ATV’s safety netting. Within two minutes, Acadian Ambulance Services arrived and assisted in freeing the child from the cold waters.”
Meanwhile, Britney Spears recently asked fans to send their “wishes and prayers” to her niece.
She wrote on Twitter: “Need all the wishes and prayers for my niece.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Lady Gaga is “proud” of her body.
The 30-year-old pop star has hit back at the critics who ridiculed her appearance during the Super Bowl half-time show in Houston, Texas, on Sunday (05.02.17), when Gaga was happy to show plenty of flesh throughout her 13-minute performance.
Alongside a photograph of herself on stage at the annual sporting event, Gaga wrote: “I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I’m proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don’t need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That’s the stuff of champions. thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, gaga (sic)”
By contrast, Gaga’s eye-catching performance at the NRG Stadium has also drawn plenty of praise from some of her showbiz pals.
Tony Bennett, Gaga’s long-time collaborator, said the singer’s half-time show was the “most super thing” about the Super Bowl.
Tony – who worked with the Grammy Award-winning star on their 2014 album ‘Cheek to Cheek’ – wrote on Twitter: “Lady…the most super thing about the Super Bowl was you….just amazing! (sic)”
Gaga also received praise from fellow pop star Katy Perry, who made reference to her spectacular entrance during the half-time show, which saw her abseil from the roof of the NRG Stadium.
Katy said on Twitter: “I want jumping gifs stat! Bravo (sic)”
Gaga – who was supported by a team of dancers and pyrotechnics – largely steered clear of any controversy during her performance and instead treated fans to renditions of some of her best-selling hits, including ‘The Edge of Glory’, ‘Pokerface’ and her LGBTQ anthem ‘Born This Way’.

OHMYGOSSIP — Madonna “exuded happiness” when she was told she could adopt twin girls.
The 58-year-old singer was granted permission to take on the care of four-year-old Stella and Esther by a Malawi court on Tuesday (07.02.17) and was overjoyed to be allowed to take the little girls home with her.
Judiciary spokesperson Mlenga Mvula said: “Madonna exuded happiness. She smiled while she was making her way out of the courtroom, and then she drove away [with the girls].”
The twins – whose father and uncle were in the courtroom to hear the ruling – were placed in the care of their grandmother following the death of their mother, but she had put them in an orphanage too years ago as she was unable to provide for the tots.
The spokesperson told People magazine: “Their mother died a week after she delivered the babies.
“After their mother died, the children were looked after by their grandmother, who could not fully provide for them, so they were taken into an orphanage.”
The ‘Living For Love’ hitmaker already has two other children, David and Mercy, both 11, adopted from the impoverished African country, and her own Raising Malawi charity has worked to help orphaned children there for over a decade.
And the court took into account the ties Madonna – who also has children Lourdes, 20, and Rocco, 16 – has with the country when making their ruling over her adoption application.
Mlenga said: “Madonna has been very close to Malawi. She has been involved in so many projects and is currently helping to expand the children’s ward at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
“So Madonna has been coming to Malawi frequently. So it is not unusual to people in Malawi at all. They know Madonna very well in terms of the high-profile work she has done for the community.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyga has been slapped with another lawsuit.
The ‘Rack City’ hitmaker has run into even more legal trouble after the server who informed him he was being sued last November filed court documents claiming he was viciously attacked by the star’s entourage while handing him a summons for another case at his 27th birthday party at The Penthouse in West Hollywood, California.
According to TMZ, the man who delivered him the court papers – a process required by US law – has claimed he was “grabbed, yanked, pulled and choked” by Tyga’s team after the 27-year-old rapper, who is listed in the paperwork as a “minor celebrity known more for his social life than his music”, allegedly gave them the go-ahead to batter him.
It seems the server may have a strong case as the incident was caught on camera.
Tyga hasn’t had the easiest time when it comes to his financial state recently as in the same week he was served the lawsuit back in November, he reportedly paid off the remainder of a separate $200,000 jewellery debt he had been sued over.
Tyga – who is dating reality TV star Kylie Jenner – was sued by Jason of Beverly Hills after he failed to pay for a watch and a chain he had bought in 2013.
But his cash flow issues didn’t stop there as last September it was reported that his mother was at risk of getting her Range Rover repossessed after the rapper failed to keep up the $1,000-a-month repayments on the $60,000 Evoque model.
Previously, Tyga’s own Ferrari was seemingly repossessed, while he was also sued by F&S Investment Properties for an estimated $186,275 after he rented a retail space for his Egypt Last Kings Clothing last year and allegedly trashed it.
And that’s not the only landlord who got on his back as Tyga was forced to pay $480,285.00 in damages last year to the owner of his old home after he failed to cover the rent.

OHMYGOSSIP — Chrissy Teigen has been involved in a car accident.
The 31-year-old model – who has nine-month-old daughter Luna with her husband John Legend – was a passenger in a vehicle which was hit in Hollywood, California, on Tuesday evening (07.02.17), but thankfully the brunette beauty was not hurt in the crash.
According to E! News, an unnamed suspect was arrested on a misdemeanour hit and run charge in connection with the altercation.
Meanwhile, in a few months time, Chrissy and Luna will be heading out onto the road with 38-year-old John during his ‘Darkness and Light’ tour.
Speaking previously, the ‘All Of Me’ hitmaker said: “The awesome part of this tour is my family is coming along.
“This’ll be Luna’s first tour. She’ll be there, so I won’t have to spend a lot of time away from my family. That’s the subtitle of the tour: ‘Darkness And Light Tour: Luna’s First Tour’.”
The concert series will kick off on May 12 in Miami and will finish in New Orleans on June 30.
Meanwhile, the couple – who married in 2013 – are planning to have another child next year, and the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ co-host will have her second child through IVF treatment.
Speaking previously about expanding her brood, Chrissy said: “Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah.
“And no, I am not pregnant. (sic)”
And John is hoping they will have “three or four” children in the future.

OHMYGOSSIP — Zayn Malik has lashed out at his critics on Twitter after he was accused of being ignorant.
The 24-year-old singer recently came to the defence of his girlfriend Gigi Hadid after she was accused of being racist in a video that showed her holding up a cookie shaped like the Buddha and squinting her eyes in an imitation of his face.
But Zayn – who has been a victim of racial discrimination on account of his Asian heritage – has hit back, writing on Twitter: “People’s nerve to call me ignorant, when any chance they get I’m a terrorist!! to be a racist goes against my very existence..
“So please don’t try to educate me. (sic)”
The row first erupted when Bella Hadid, Gigi’s sister, posted a video of her sibling squinting her eyes to imitate the Buddah, which prompted accusations of racial insensitivity.
Although Bella quickly removed the video, it popped up in numerous other places and the claims of racism quickly began to spread.
However, Zayn – whose father Yaser is British Pakistani – came to the defence of his girlfriend, rubbishing suggestions she is racist.
He wrote on Twitter, alongside a winking smiley face: “trust me.. she likes asians (sic)”
In 2015, Gigi took to Instagram to defend herself against accusations of cultural appropriation after she shared a picture of a group of hands decorated with henna tattoos.
The model said it was completely appropriate because of her Palestinian roots.
Gigi – who is the daughter of Yolanda Foster and Palestinian real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid – wrote: “Feel so blessed to have a foundation of friendship that will bond us for the rest of our lives.

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Battlestar Galactica’ actor Richard Hatch has died aged 71.
The American actor, writer and producer – who was best known for his starring role as Captain Apollo in the original ‘Battlestar Galactica’ TV series – passed away in Los Angeles on Tuesday (07.02.17) after a battle with pancreatic cancer, his son Paul has confirmed.
Paul said in a statement: “He died peacefully with his family and friends at his side after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
“In spite of significant roles in other series and motion pictures over the following decades, his connection with the original ‘Battlestar’ as well as the remake created an international following among science fiction fans.
“While continuing his acting career Richard was a popular figure at comic book conventions, science fiction forums and even hosted his own cruise ship events.”
In addition to his appearances in the original sci-fi TV series, Hatch also starred in ‘Dynasty’, ‘The Love Boat’, ‘Santa Barbara’, ‘Baywatch’ and the rebooted ‘Battlestar Galactica’ series from 2004 to 2009.
His death has led to a wave of tributes from people who were involved in the original and rebooted series, including Ronald D Moore, who developed and executive produced the most-recent version of ‘Battlestar Galactica’.
He wrote on Twitter: “Richard Hatch was a good man, a gracious man, and a consummate professional. His passing is a heavy blow to the entire BSG family. (sic)”
Elsewhere, Edward James Olmos, who starred as William Adama in the reboot, also paid a glowing tribute to the actor on Twitter.
He wrote: “Richard Hatch you made our universe a better place We love you for it. Rest In Peace my friend @SoSayWeAll the Admiral! (sic)”
Katee Sackhoff, who starred as Kara ‘Starbuck’ Thrace in the reboot, said: “Goodbye my friend. See you on the other side. F**k this hurts. #SoSayWeAll (sic)”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jonathan Cheban has reportedly stacked up a total of £45,000 in restaurant bills during his time in London.
The 42-year-old PR guru – who is Kim Kardashian West’s best friend – touched down in the English capital a few weeks ago, and has reportedly been treating himself to meals at some of the priciest restaurants including Novikov and Nobu in the wealthy Mayfair district.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Jonathan has been in London for a few weeks and has already racked up the most astronomical bill for dinners.
“He eats out every single day, breakfast lunch and dinner, and never goes to anywhere other than the best places. He’s obviously well off, but people had no idea he was quite so wealthy.
“The bills he has been hit with have been unbelievable.”
The star has been in the UK filming for the E4 reality show ‘Celebs Go Dating’ in the hopes of finding his soul mate, and has reportedly been irritating show bosses by having “off the scale” demands including “the best suite going” in London’s five-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel, and a “private jet” to fly him home in between filming.
A source said previously: “Jonathan’s diva demands have been off the scale. Production have been pulling their hair out trying to keep him satisfied.
“He’s become accustomed to a certain standard of living and has already kicked off about his accommodation while he’s filming the show.
“He wants to stay at the Mandarin Oriental in the best suite going. He’s demanded a private jet to fly him home to New York for three days because he’s homesick and misses Kim, his friends and his family.

OHMYGOSSIP — Khloé Kardashian’s “fitness journey” helped her cope with Caitlyn Jenner’s transition.
The 32-year-old reality star is currently starring in her fitness show ‘Revenge Body with Khloé Kardashian’ in which she promotes healthy ways of losing weight to help men and women reinvent themselves both inside and out, and has now admitted that “taking the steps to be healthy” helped her overcome the emotions she faced when her step-father – formerly known as Bruce Jenner – decided to undergo gender reassignment.
Writing in a blog post entitled ‘Why I’m Thankful for ‘Revenge Body’, the blonde beauty said: “My fitness journey was mine alone. I did not realise that taking the steps to be healthy–to gain my strength mentally and physically–would help get me through my divorce, the criticism that I get on a daily basis or my stepdad’s transition.”
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has admitted in the past that she gained weight when her father Robert Kardashian passed away in 2003, and dubbed herself as an “emotional eater” in her new blog entry.
She continued: “I’m an emotional eater. I had to train myself not to turn to a gallon of ice cream or order three pizzas in secrecy and eat them all, like I used to.
“Before, when I felt sad, I didn’t talk about how I felt. I would just eat my feelings. You could tell, by my bad skin and because I was losing my hair. I wasn’t getting the right nutrients.
“When I started going to the gym, I realised that if I felt frustrated, I could figure it out by working out. I never did it for any other validation. It was all for myself.”
Khloé – who is currently in a relationship with 25-year-old professional basketball player Tristan Thompson – says she decided to start her new reality show in order to help other people who had fallen into a “dark place”.

OHMYGOSSIP — Fearne Cotton “felt so drained” when she battled with depression.
The 35-year-old television and radio presenter admits she felt “anti-social, cut-off and alienated” but was “relieved” when she was prescribed anti-depressants.
She said: “I had a real lack of energy. I felt so drained and my lust for everything that I love wasn’t there any more. I’m very optimistic by nature, I wake up in the morning and I’m very excited about my day, I’m so pumped and enthusiastic about the smaller things in life and that was dead.
“Everything was a drag and felt heavy. I felt anti-social, cut-off, alienated and they were massive warning signs. Everyone has that lightbulb moment that they need to do something differently, but for me it was feeling stuck …
“It was definitely a relief when the doctor identified what was happening to me. It took it away from being my fault. I was prescribed anti-depressants. I decided it would get my head above the clouds for a moment. I’d never taken them before so it felt like it be worth a go.”
However, the blonde beauty – who has Rex, three, and Honey, 16 months, with her husband Jesse Wood – thinks her Radio 1 show, which she quit in 2015, helped to keep things “normal” for her.
She added: “It was a tough time. But it was probably quite helpful, getting out the house, communicating with people, even if it is on a surface level and I think that slowly does help you. My job became a hindrance and a help.
“It was very draining, but at the same time it was possibly helping me in the right direction. Having one thing that feels quite normal, when everything else is chaotic, is quite healthy.”
And Fearne says she found it difficult to “let go” and admit to herself that she isn’t perfect.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Letting go of ‘perfect’ was important. I was trying to do so many things and putting so much pressure on myself – and why?
“Perfect doesn’t exist. I cut back a lot on work, and focused a lot more on family. My priorities now are work and family, so going out and socialising are non-existent.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Agdal stopped working out “three or four times a day” when she realised it wasn’t having any positive effect on her body.
The 24-year-old model – who is reportedly dating Hollywood hunk Leonardo DiCaprio – has come to realise that “sometimes less is more” when she hits the gym.
She said: “I would go on these benders and work out, like, three to four times a day, and be like, ‘Why is my body not changing?’ My friends would say, ‘You need to rest. You’ve got to let your muscles relax so they can react again.’
“Sometimes less is more when it comes to workout routines. Also, just because you’re working out more doesn’t mean you can eat more. You can’t be like, ‘I worked out for two hours today, so I can have that slice of pizza,’ because that pizza will still just go on your butt or wherever it goes.”
And now the blonde beauty’s go-to work out is yoga as she enjoys seeing her arms become more toned.
She added to the new issue of Health magazine: “I do a bunch of Y7 yoga, which is amazing because it’s dark and nobody’s judging you. I’m not very good at the meditating part of yoga, so I love that the studio has great music.
“When I really want to push myself, I also do Tone House. It’s athletic conditioning with a lot of body-weight movements and sprints. It’s really hard cardio. I also do boxing, which is great for everything, and I go to Equinox and do the SoulCycle thing. I always switch it up because if not, I don’t see a difference …
“When I do a lot of yoga, I see a lot of tone in my arms, which can be a tough area for me to get really toned in. So even though it feels like you’re not really doing anything, you are.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie Lynn Spears’ eight-year-old daughter is “awake and talking” after her tragic ATV accident.
The former ‘Zoey 101′ star’s daughter Maddie is said to be responding well to treatment after an off-road vehicle she was riding flipped over on Sunday (05.02.17), leaving Maddie unconscious and underwater for several minutes.
A statement from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Department released to People magazine by a representative for Spears’ family said: “With her father, mother and stepfather by her side, Maddie regained consciousness mid-day Tuesday, February 7. The eight-year-old daughter of entertainer Jamie Lynn Spears was involved in an ATV accident at a family home Sunday in Kentwood, LA. Paramedics resuscitated her and she was airlifted to a local hospital. She is aware of her surroundings and recognizes those family members who have kept a round-the-clock vigil since the accident.
“Doctors were able to remove the ventilator today and she is awake and talking. Maddie continues to receive oxygen and is being monitored closely but it appears that she has not suffered any neurological consequences from the accident.”
It was previously reported that the accident happened when Maddie – who Jamie Lynn has with her former partner Casey Aldridge – made a sharp turn to try and avoid running over a drainage ditch, which caused the vehicle to “enter the pond”.
The police report read: “The ATV and child were instantly submerged in the water right before their eyes. Within seconds the child’s mother, stepfather and other family members reached the pond, dove in and attempted to rescue the child to no avail.

OHMYGOSSIP — James Corden was judged on his looks rather than his acting abilities.
The 38-year-old actor and television personality recalled how he missed out on “massive film scripts” because he didn’t look a certain way.
He told the March issue of Esquire magazine: “When The History Boys became the hottest play in London, there were eight boys of a similar age, and they were all getting these massive film scripts.
“And I would get the one page of a script for a guy who drops off a television to Hugh Grant, or who works at a newsstand and sells a paper to Julianne Moore. And I was like, ‘None of this is based on ability or charisma. It’s only about how I look, and about the assumption that people who look like that don’t fall in love in as nice a way as others. People who look like that are not as interesting.'”
Meanwhile, James – who has Max, five, and Carey, two with his wife Julia Carey – previously confessed he underwent three months of therapy after hitting the big time.
He said: “I’d been going out a lot. The truth is, I had to learn how to stay in on my own. Because I was only really going out to not be on my own and then what you realise is, until I just get used to coming in, shutting the door, silence, what should I have for dinner?
‘Sitting down, TV on, eating that – done now, I’ll go to sleep, maybe I’ll try and read something. Falling asleep and waking up. I realised that’s just not something I’ve ever done or been good at.
“I did a bit of therapy. Three months. I still did go out sometimes, I wasn’t a monk! It wasn’t even about women, it was just going out and being around attention which I don’t think is necessarily good for you.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Beyonce and Jay Z “tried for a few years” to have another child.
The ‘Formation’ singer and the ‘Empire State Of Mind’ hitmaker recently announced they are expecting twins together and are feeling “great” about adding to their family.
A source said: “They wanted another child and after a few years of trying, it’s a great feeling. Beyonce’s very happy.”
The couple were thought to have gone through some tough times recently but they are now much stronger and realise what a “great team” they make.
The insider told People magazine: “They are a power couple and they make a great team. They know they are more interesting together than apart.”
The pair announced the happy news they were expecting twins with a post on Instagram, where the 35-year-old singer – who already has five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with her husband – showed off her burgeoning baby bump.
She captioned the image: “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters (sic)”
Since the announcement, well wishes have flooded in for the pair from a whole host of stars including John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen.
John said: “I’m happy for them. It’s a beautiful thing. They already know that though. They already have a wonderful daughter, they know what it feels like, and I’m excited for them.”
Whilst Chrissy added in a tweet: “But really. Congrats to my best friend Beyonce I love you so much. Hive forever. (sic)”
Rita Ora also sent her best wishes to the couple, congratulating them on their “fantastic” news.
She shared: “I just think from woman to woman, there’s nothing better. It’s fantastic. I wish her nothing but the best for the family and for health and everything. They’re just bosses at what they do. Unfortunately, [I haven’t spoken to them]. I just wanted to congratulate them and all that. They must be getting their phones blowing up.”
