Prince Edward: Queen Elizabeth’s passing was ‘far more emotional’ after Prince Philip’s death

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince Edward has admitted Queen Elizabeth’s death was “far more emotional” because it came so soon after Prince Philip’s passing.
The Duke of Edinburgh lost his mother in September 2022, just 17 months after his father had passed away and he admitted going through the monarch’s passing was made more difficult because he and his family were still grieving for her husband.
Edward made his remarks as he deputised for his brother, King Charles, as Lord High Commissioner at the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in Edinburgh on Saturday (18.05.24), where he welcomed Reverend Dr. Shaw James Paterson as the newly-elected moderator.
Addressing the group, Edward paid a “personal tribute” to the faith leaders for the support they offered to the royal family following the death of the queen.
He said: “For my own part, I just want to pay personal tribute to the chaplains of the Chapels Royal and especially those here in Scotland.
“There have been moments recently where I have been lucky to have sensed God’s care and love.
“And who could forget the scenes that followed the passing of my mother?
“The outpouring of emotions, the demonstration of respect, love and grief was overwhelming and a privilege to experience and behold.
“I think I can speak for my whole family when I say we will remain forever grateful for that support.”
Edward, 60, said he was “really touched and comforted” by how the chaplains had helped his family “behind closed doors and away from the public gaze and the scrutiny”.
He added: “I know it’s part of the job description, so perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised, yet it is not necessarily what they did, it’s how they did it.
“Here were centuries of tradition, of rituals long practised, of prayer, of care and of comfort.”
Congratulating the new moderator, Edward drew similarities between the life of a minister’s child and of growing up in the royal family.
He said: “Growing up in the family of a minister is never easy; having to come to terms with sharing one or both of your parents with the wider parish family.
“And believe me, I can empathise.”

Dolph Lundgren declares he’s ‘lucky to be alive’ after his kidney cancer and wild living

OHMYGOSSIP — Dolph Lundgren thinks he’s lucky to be alive after his kidney cancer and wild living.
The ‘Universal Soldier’ actor, 66, was first diagnosed with the illness in 2015 and told he only had a few years to live, but is now enjoying life after a series of tumors were removed.
He told Total Film about his health fight: “I had a prognosis that I only had a couple of years left, so I feel lucky to be alive.
“Luck has always played a part though. It’s like one of the Roman generals said, ‘Everything that happens to you has been decided since the beginning of time.’
“Everybody has their fate. And my fate was to be somebody who entertains and inspires people, I hope.”
When asked about his wild days, Dolph admitted: “I went through a period of heavy drinking and a few addictions while trying to deal with the trauma from my childhood and I think I danced with the devil a few times.
“But I lived to tell about it.”
Swedish-born Dolph, who married his fiancée Emma Krokdal, 28, in Mykonos last year, admitted his ideal “off switch” would be boozing – but said he now prefers to lounge around on the sofa instead.
He said: “The off switch would be to get drunk. But now I like to hit the couch at least once a day.
“I like watching historical dramas. I was directing, writing and starring in my latest movie, ‘Wanted Man’, which is a lot, but my wife keeps me balanced.”
Dolph added he has also learned a lot about himself from getting physical, adding: “A lot of smart people think they know a lot about themselves. But they don’t know about physical courage.
“You learn a lot about yourself in a fight.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs ‘truly sorry’ for battering ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is “truly sorry” for beating his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016.
The scandal-plagued rapper, 54, was seen in footage released by CNN on 17 May launching a brutal attack on the 37-year-old singer at a Los Angeles hotel, and spoke out in an Instagram video on Sunday (19.05.24) to say the “inexcusable” assault came when he was “f***** up” and had hit “rock bottom”.
He started the video by saying it was “so difficult” to reflect on the “darkest times of your life”, but added: “Sometimes you have to do that.”
Diddy – who has changed his name to Sean Love Combs – added about the attack: “I was f****** up. I mean I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behaviour on that video is inexcusable.
“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it and I’m disgusted now.”
Revealing how he sought help after the 2016 assault: “I went and I sought out professional help and had to go to therapy, had to go to rehab.
“Had to ask God for his mercy and grace.
“I’m so sorry. I’m committed to being a better man each and every day.
“I’m truly sorry.”
Diddy was hit with allegations including physical abuse by singer Cassie in a November 2023 lawsuit, which he settled out of court a day after it was lodged.
The 2016 footage was taken from a surveillance camera in a hallway at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California.
It shows Combs holding a towel around his waist as he chases after Cassie before he strikes her, hurls her to the floor and kicks her as she lies motionless on the ground.
He then grabs her bags and continues to assault Cassie before dragging her across the elevator bank into the hallway.
A second camera angle of the assault shows the singer slowly standing up and gathering her bags after the attack ends – with Combs sitting on a chair directly in front of her as she picks up a phone in the hallway.
Combs is then seen grabbing what seems to be a vase and throwing it at the singer.
Diddy was hit with a wave of lawsuits in late 2023 and early 2024, including allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault.
The cases remain active, and he has denied all claims against him.

David Beckham hails Nicola Peltz’s late grandmother ‘most amazing lady’

OHMYGOSSIP — David Beckham has hailed his daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz Beckham’s late grandmother Bunny as the “most amazing lady”.
The former footballer, 49, paid tribute after the granny – known as ‘Naunni’ by her loved ones – died aged 95 on Thursday. (16.05.24)
David said alongside an image of himself with his arm around Bunny posted to his Instagram Stories: “To the most amazing lady with the most beautiful smile and laugh (white heart emoji.)
“Rest In Peace, Naunni (white dove emoji.)”
David’s social media update came hours after dad-of-four David’s eldest son Brooklyn, 25, who married actress Nicola, 29, in 2022, paid tribute to Bunny.
He said alongside a gallery of images of him with the gran she had taught him to “find the joy in everything” and recalled how she was great at “making everyone smile”.
Bunny was Nicola’s maid of honour at her 2022 wedding to Brooklyn, and Brooklyn added it had been “honour” to be her grandson.
His album of moments of him with Bunny included a video of them attending church, playing games together and riding a golf cart.
Nicola’s brother Bradley Peltz, 34, broke the news of Bunny’s death when he said on Instagram: “Today, we lost my angel on earth. She was not only the happiest but one of my favourite souls I ever came across.
“She was the light that would brighten your day.
“May her soul rest in peace and in paradise in heaven. I love you Bunny.”
Bunny’s death came weeks after Nicola posted on Instagram about her grandmum: “Your laugh is the best sound in the world and I want to hear it for the rest of my life.”
Nicola last month skipped her mum-in-law Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party to spend time with Bunny.

Sharon Stone, 66, fumes ageism is robbing her of acting career

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Stone feels she is being robbed of an acting career due to ageism in the movie business.
The ‘Basic Instinct’ actress – who turned 66 in March – added the roles she has been offered have got limited to clichéd bit-parts as she gets older.
She told The Times: “People would like to say, ‘You’re too old or you can’t do this or you can’t do that.’
“It’s a little bit hard to cast me as the grandmother. It’d be easier to cast me as the lawyer or the judge or the cop – so they’re not really sure what to do with somebody like me.
“I still don’t have my acting career back. I would really like to work again as an actor so much – not just a weak, supporting, bulls*** part.
“I’d like to really have the parts that I have earned and can do.
“I would really like to have my own real career back. I would really like to have my life back.”
The haemorrhage Sharon suffered more than 20 years ago led to a nine-day brain bleed.
She was living in San Francisco with her then-husband Phil Bronstein, 73, and their adopted son Roan Joseph Bronstein, 23, when she was hit by the illness.
Doctors gave her a one per cent chance of survival, and Sharon said: “I pretty much realised it was serious when I came to on the floor and I couldn’t get up and I kept calling for help and I couldn’t get it.
“I thought, ‘I’m having a stroke.’”
She added about how the stroke brought her career to a standstill: “There was no way she could carry on acting.
“I couldn’t walk. I couldn’t talk. I couldn’t read… when I reached for something, I had no depth perception. It was complete psychological chaos.”
The fallout from Sharon’s illness included the end of her marriage to Phil, after which the couple entered a bitter custody battle, which the actress lost.
Phil was awarded primary custody, with Sharon getting visits from her son every month.
She admitted about how she hasn’t bounced back from the illness and family trauma: “It took seven years to really recover and I did lose custody of my child. And I did lose my career and I did lose $15 million – every cent I had – in child support and court fees, so I didn’t really bounce back and have a rebirth.
“I would really like to have my life back. I didn’t rebound and it isn’t some kind of wonderful story. It’d be great if it was, but it isn’t. I survived.”

Cynthia Nixon says ‘Sex and the City’ cast were flooded with hate over show

OHMYGOSSIP — Cynthia Nixon and the ‘Sex and the City’ cast were bombarded with hate when the show first aired.
The actress, 58, played Miranda Hobbes in the HBO show from 1998 and 2004 and has revived the role in its spin-off ‘And Just Like That’ alongside her original co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Kim Cattrall.
Cynthia – whose character has come out as gay in ‘And Just Like That’ – told Page Six about being trolled over the show: “People have always been very passionate about ‘Sex and the City’ and now ‘And Just Like That’.
“I feel like ‘Sex and the City’ is now so enshrined in memory and sentimentality but people hated us at first.
“They kept saying over and over, ‘These aren’t really women, these are gay men in disguise. Women don’t talk like this. Women don’t talk about sex like this.’”
Cynthia said she thinks it is great the creators of ‘And Just Like That’ have continued to produce edgy material despite critics.
She added: “I think that’s what’s so great about ‘And Just Like That’. We keep pushing the boundaries.
“We’re not going to do the same old stuff that was once shocking that you’ve now got used to.”
Shooting recently started on the third series of ‘And Just Like That’, after it came under fire in the first season over the non-binary character Che Diaz, played by Sara Ramirez.
Fans were upset Miranda was seen splitting from her husband on the show, Steve Brady, to follow Che to California – though the couple split in the second series of the show and the actor won’t be in the third season.
Actor Che, 48, who identifies as non-binary, told The New York Times about the storm: “I’m very aware of the hate that exists online. But I have to protect my own mental health and my own artistry.”
“And that’s way more important to me because I’m a real human being. I’m really proud of the representation that we’ve created.
“We have built a character who is a human being, who is imperfect, who’s complex, who is not here to be liked, who’s not here for anybody’s approval. They’re here to be themselves.”

Sean Combs’ media company Revolt ‘saddened and disturbed’ by his assault video

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ media company Revolt has declared it is “saddened and disturbed” by the video of the rapper attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016.
The rapper, 54, apologised on Sunday (19.05.24), two days after a video was released by CNN showing him launching a brutal attack on the 37-year-old singer at a now-closed Los Angeles hotel, and the firm he co-founded has released a damning statement on the footage and urged victims of abuse to contact a domestic violence group.
It said on Instagram: “We are deeply saddened and disturbed by the recent video circulation of our former chairman, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
“Even with his recent separation from Revolt, it is still our duty to address this matter, and recognize the direct impact has on our staff, our audience, and the culture we represent.”
Combs co-founded Revolt in 2013, and the company added it “stands in solidarity with all who have been a victim of abuse and remain committed to upholding the values and integrity our community expects from us”.
It also said: “We vehemently stand against any form of domestic abuse and will always be a fearless advocate for truth and accountability.”
Revolt ended its statement by sharing the contact information for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
Combs temporarily stepped down as chairman of Revolt in November 2023 after Cassie, who he dated for 10 years, filed a lawsuit against him.
It accused the rapper – who has changed his name to Sean Love Combs – of rape and physical abuse, and detailed the hotel beating incident featured in the newly-released footage.
Combs settled the lawsuit out of court the day after it was lodged.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office will not file charges against Combs due to a statute of limitations which stops them prosecuting over attacks as far back as 2016.
Combs said in his apology video released on Instagram on Sunday he was “truly sorry” for beating Cassie.
He started the video by saying it was “so difficult” to reflect on the “darkest times of your life”, but said: “Sometimes you have to do that.”
Diddy added “I was f****** up. I mean I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behaviour on that video is inexcusable.
“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it and I’m disgusted now.”
The footage showed Combs holding a towel around his waist as he chases after Cassie before he strikes her, hurls her to the floor and kicks her as she lies motionless on the ground.

The cases remain active, and he has denied all claims against him.

Sharon Stone reveals paedophile grandfather was so demented he’d have had sex ‘with a chair leg’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sharon Stone says her paedophile grandfather was so out of control he would have had sex with a “chair leg”.
The ‘Basic Instinct’ actress, 66, who was abused by the molester, also saw her maternal grandad Clarence Lawson sexually abusing her five-year-old sister when she was aged eight, and has now recalled how he would also beat her grandmother.
She told The Times: “He was a paedophile and a sexual deviant. There wasn’t anybody he wasn’t trying to have sex with. He’d have sex with a chair leg.
“My grandfather was just out of control. He was very abusive.
“He beat the living s*** out of my grandmother – I think that she was numb to having any feeling.”
Sharon previously revealed in her memoir ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’ she and her sister Kelly were sexually abused as children by their granddad when they were toddlers, and that their grandmother locked the door on them before he molested them.
Sharon went through years of therapy to get over the abuse, adding: “I really came to understand that it had nothing to do with me. I could have been an inanimate object.
“Frankly, it has zero meaning to me anymore. I feel bad that this person lived with that illness, like I feel bad when someone has leukaemia or cancer.
“He had a terrible illness and his illness really affected other people and he should have been in quarantine his whole life.”
Sharon, who is single, finds it harder to forgive men who are deliberately cruel. She added: “I’ve been in relationships with men who have intentionally lied and done other things to me that have been really hurtful. Sometimes I think that might have hurt me more because they’re not actually sick.
“They’re just overprivileged because of who they are and they think they can be cruel and mean to people.”

Steve Guttenberg reveals his ego took over at height of fame

OHMYGOSSIP — Steve Guttenberg has admitted his ego took over at the height of his Hollywood fame.
The 65-year-old actor became a huge global star thanks to his hit films ‘Cocoon’, ‘Three Men and a Baby’ and the ‘Police Academy’ franchise, and has now confessed he drank the showbiz “Kool-Aid” and became consumed with self-importance.
He told Page Six: “My God, I drank the Kool-Aid several times and went out and bought a Ferrari and had my times where I thought I was a big deal.”
The actor, whose blockbusters also included ‘Short Circuit’, added about realising fame, fortune and power was meaningless: “You get to the end of that tunnel and you realise you’re not that big a deal and that nobody’s that big a deal, right?
“The biggest, the biggest star in the world is not a big deal. The biggest CEO in the world. It’s not a big deal, right? Because you’re fungible.
“You’re human, right? You have a limited amount of time to dance on this earth. Try to do the right thing all the time.”
Steve credits his parents for eventually keeping him grounded, and said: “My dad would say to me, ‘Anytime you want, get your marbles and leave. You don’t have to stay in this thing.’
“That was great.”
Steve’s dad Stanley Jerome died in the summer of 2022 aged 89 after a battle with a series of health issues related to kidney failure – and the actor stepped away from showbiz to become a caregiver to his father until he passed away.
Along with his sister, Steve became a trained dialysis technician so his dad did not have to leave the house for his daily treatments.
He also told Page Six ahead of the publication of his upcoming memoir ‘Time to Thank: Caregiving for My Hero’: “I was in love with my dad. He was one of the smartest, strongest, kindest guys ever born on this earth.
“He was a US Army Ranger. He was a New York City policeman. He was an electronics executive. He was a caring husband and father and friend. He was a great citizen, a great patriot. And I loved being in his company.”

Drew Barrymore reckons ‘nostalgia” and animals are ‘antidote’ to blues

OHMYGOSSIP — Drew Barrymore thinks “nostalgia” and animals are the “antidote” to depression and the world’s ills.
The 49-year-old actress became a household name after appearing as a child in ‘E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial’, and infamously got hooked on drugs and alcohol by the time she was a teen and was sent to a rehabilitation institution to get sober at the age of 13 – before she finally decided to quit booze for good in 2019 and announced her sobriety in 2021.
She has now told People about her techniques for staying upbeat: “I always find, whether it’s on (my series ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’) or in a magazine or on social media… nostalgia, like animals, give this sense of warmth and humour and joy.
“We need that in the world, we need that, probably very scientifically, we need that hit of something very positive in our brain as we’re processing the world at large, as well as our own unique little journeys that are always filled with a lot of pressures and a lot of taking care of people, and a lot of trying to navigate everything.
“I just think animals are the antidote to everything, they just make us feel so good.
“Unlike a lot of things that make us feel good too, they’re not very demanding either. We’re so lucky to have them.”
Drew recently also told People she thinks getting sober was the most “honouring” thing she has done for her alcoholism-plagued family.
Referring to her family history of alcoholism, she said: “I think, for me, stopping drinking is one of the most honouring things I can do to the Barrymore name because we have all been such hedonists.
“Don’t look to me as the pillar of health and wellness and having it all together.
“It’s just like, ‘You know what? This didn’t work for our family, and I’m going to stop it.’
“I’m going to be the one to break the link in that chain and maybe my kids and their kids will be better off for it.”
Drew comes from a long line of stars including her actor dad John Barrymore, whose siblings were Oscar-winners Ethel and Lionel Barrymore.
He struggled with alcoholism from the age of 14, while her grandad succumbed to it in 1942.

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry became emotional as she made her ‘American Idol’ exit.
The chart-topping pop star – who joined the hit TV show back in 2018 – became visibly upset and cried during the finale on Sunday (19.05.24), when Abi Carter was crowned as the winner of season 22.
Katy, 39, was seen sobbing as she held hands with fellow ‘American Idol’ judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.
Ryan Seacrest, the show’s host, asked her: “Are you crying?”
Katy bowed her head, as she struggled to contain her emotions.
Ryan, 49, then said: “We’re going to miss you.”
The TV star hugged Katy and added: “It’s already emotional tonight…”
Luke also acknowledged that Katy was overwhelmed by the occasion.
The 47-year-old singer said: “Katy is a mess.”
During the season finale, the contestants performed some of Katy’s best-known hits – including ‘Teenage Dream’, ‘Dark Horse’ and ‘California Gurls’ – as a tribute.
Katy actually announced her ‘American Idol’ exit during a TV appearance earlier this year.
The pop star loved her time on the TV show but admitted that she’s ultimately keen to explore other career opportunities.
She said on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’: “I think this probably will be my last show, my last season for ‘Idol’.

Katy has been working on new music over recent months. However, the singer admitted that she could return to ‘American Idol’ at some point in the future.
She shared: “I love the show so much but I wanna go and see the world and maybe bring new music.
“Maybe I’ll come back if they’ll have me one day!”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs slammed by ex‘s legal team over assault apology

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been slammed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s legal team over his apology for beating the singer.
The rapper-turned business mogul 54, said on Sunday (19.05.24) he was “truly sorry” for the incident, two days after a video was released by CNN showing him launching a brutal attack on 37-year-old Cassie at a now-closed Los Angeles hotel – but hours later her lawyers said it was a self-obsessed display.
Combs didn’t mention Cassie directly by name in his apology video, which was released on Instagram, and used it to say it was hard for him to talk about “dark” times, before telling his followers he went into therapy and rehab and sought God’s help after he battered Cassie.
Meredith Firetog, a partner at Wigdor LLP, the legal firm representing Cassie, told Page Six in a statement: “Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt.”
Referring to the wave of other accusations of abuse Combs is currently facing, she added: “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday.
“That he was only compelled to ‘apologise’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”
Cassie had detailed the 2016 assault caught on tape in a bombshell 2023 lawsuit she lodged against Combs, which accused him of abuse.
The rapper settled out of court over the claims a day after it was filed, but his
legal team later said the settlement was in “no way an admission of wrongdoing”.
Footage of him beating Cassie was captured on surveillance cameras at the
InterContinental Hotel, showing him kicking her as she lay motionless on the ground before he hurled a glass vase at her after sitting watching her pick up her belongings after the initial attack.
Cassie’s 2023 filing said about the incident Combs was “extremely intoxicated” at the time and had punched her “in the face” leaving a “black eye”.
Her filing stated: “He grabbed at her and then took glass vases in the hallway and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.”
Cassie’s attorney Douglas H Wigdor, last week said in a statement about the tape: “The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behaviour of Mr Combs.
“Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”
Diddy said in his apology video on Sunday about the footage of him beating Cassie that he had hit “rock bottom” when it was captured, adding he was disgusted with himself over the incident then and now.
He was hit with a wave of other lawsuits in late 2023 and early 2024, including allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault.
The cases remain active, and he has denied all claims against him.

Kevin Costner reveals why he ensured women ‘dominate’ new Western

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner ensured women “dominate” his new Western as he believes they built the American frontier.
The Oscar-winner, 69, has brought his latest epic film ‘Horizon: An American Saga’ to the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, which stars Sienna Miller, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, Georgia McPhail and Ella Hunt, among a string of other female cast members.
He said at the premiere of his movie on Sunday (19.05.24) about why the movie focuses on females: “It’s almost impossible to imagine a West without women, isn’t it? The West doesn’t carry on without women.
“And they understand that they were basically trying to keep their families clean and fed, and women were worked to death.
“And if they lost their man, there’s every opportunity that their life could become something unimaginable, bad.
“That’s why Sienna’s character moves so quickly to bring a man into her life, because she knows how vulnerable she could be, and she doesn’t care about her reputation to do it.
“And we would taboo that now: ‘That’s too quick, she’s moved too quick.’
“I am not looking for kudos because women are in it. For me, they’re not in it, they actually dominate the movie, to be honest.
“Every one of those women dominate when they’re on the screen.”
Earlier this month, Kevin vowed to bring only the female actors from his new film as his VIP guests to its world premiere at Cannes.
He told People: “I’m taking seven of the women that are in the movie with me.
“For Cannes, I really want to take these women who made a huge contribution to this movie.”
The ‘Dances with Wolves’ creator directed, co-wrote and stars in the new film, which features a string of overlapping stories of 19th century settlers as they clash with Indigenous people and each other.
Kevin added to People about how the saga portrays hardships females faced during the time: “Women are the reason the country goes forward. They were taken often against their own wishes.
“They were taken advantage of and they were resilient. I couldn’t tell the story unless it revolved around them.”
Sienna appeared on the red carpet at Cannes alongside Kevin and her other ‘Horizon’ co-stars on Sunday (19.05.24) with her boyfriend Oli Green, 27, and 11-year-old lookalike daughter Marlowe.

She said when asked by Entertainment Tonight what her plans were for the big day: “Putting my pillow over my head and screaming.”
When asked the same question at the event by E! News, the ‘Believe’ singer added: “I’m putting my head under the bed.”

“And I will still be wearing my jeans and I will still be wearing long hair and I will still be doing the same stuff I’ve always done.”
Cher is still thought to be seeing her younger boyfriend, Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, 38.
The singer has defended her and Alexander’s age gap and relationship by insisting they love each other.
She said last year they “kiss like teenagers” and has declared: “Love doesn’t know math, it sees.”
Cher has added: “On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous. But in real life, we get along great… and I think he’s quite handsome.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Adele wants to have a baby girl.
The Grammy-winning star has told fans during one of her shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas that she plans to have another baby after she completes her residency in Sin City, according to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column.
The 36-year-old singer – who already has Angelo, 11, with her ex-husband Simon Konecki – shared: “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby.
“I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world – that is what I feel will happen.
“She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”
Adele – who has been in a relationship with sports agent Rich Paul since 2021 – joked that her daughter would be a “bossy little queen”.
The London-born star quipped: “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”
Meanwhile, Adele also confessed that her Las Vegas residency has taken a toll on her health.
The singer – who previously took a break from performing for the sake of her health – said: “I had to be on voice rest. When I say voice rest, I mean silence for pretty much five weeks. Can you imagine me of all people not being able to talk for five weeks?
“The singing, that’s easy. I don’t mind not singing for five weeks, but not being able to talk or not being able to laugh, being on full vocal rest (was tough).”

OHMYGOSSIP — Courteney Cox is visited by late ‘Friends’ co-star Matthew Perry “a lot”.
The 59-year-old actress – who played Perry’s character Candler Bing’s lover Monica Geller on the iconic sitcom for a decade – has revealed she feels her dear friend’s presence often and likes to believe all those she has lost are guiding her.
Speaking on ‘CBS Sunday Morning’, she said: “I’m so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years. He visits me a lot, if we believe in that.
“I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there are a lot of people that, I think, guide us.
“I do sense — I sense Matthew’s around for sure.”
Perry tragically died of the “acute effects of ketamine”, last October, aged 54, after he was found dead at his home in Los Angeles.
The autopsy report also listed drowning, coronary artery disease and buprenorphine effects as contributing factors in the actor’s death.
Perry was on ketamine infusion therapy, according to the autopsy, and his last treatment took place just “one and a half weeks before” his death.
The beloved actor and advocate for substance abuse treatment – who was found dead in a “residential pool” – suffered from drug and alcohol addiction, and buprenorphine is a medication that’s used to treat opioid use disorder.
Perry’s ‘Friends’ co-stars – also including Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green) Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) – issued a joint statement shortly after the actor passed away, admitting that they were “devastated” by the news.
They said at the time: “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew.
“We were more than just castmates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss. In time we will say more, as and when we are able.
“For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
Perry was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles in November.
