Peter Andre still doesn’t call his newborn daughter by her name

OHMYGOSSIP — Peter Andre still doesn’t call his newborn daughter, Arabella, by her name.
The ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker – who also has Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with first wife Katie Price, and Amelia, 10, and Theo, six, with spouse Emily – welcomed his new addition into the world seven weeks ago, but he hasn’t got used to her name yet and still calls her “bubba”.
The 51-year-old singer also admitted that despite it being extremely hectic with all his children under one roof, he “wouldn’t change it for the world”.
Writing in his new! magazine column, he shared: “Arabella is now seven weeks old – where has the time gone? I still haven’t called Arabella by her name. I absolutely love it and she really suits it – but I still call her “bubba”.
“As for sleeping, night and day are blurring into one at the moment. Ems is definitely getting less sleep than me because of the breast-feeding but we try to split the nights as much as possible.
“Emily and I are hoping for a little date night soon but our focus is just on the kids at the moment. With all five of them living in the house – they all have different demands. It’s busy, but I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
The couple took a long time to come up with a name for the tot.
Peter talking about life with his little one comes days after he revealed his “breakdown” lasted almost two decades.
His mental health began to suffer when he reached global fame in the 1990s and he only “truly started to come through it” in his 40s, but he then suffered another setback in his recovery after his beloved brother Andrew died from a brain tumour in 2012.
Marking Mental Health Awareness Week last week, Peter wrote: “It really does feel important to talk about it. I had a breakdown when I shot to fame in the 90s, and back then, it was a very taboo subject to talk about – people would just think you’re ‘cuckoo’…
“My breakdown lasted a long time. It was only when I got to my forties that I truly started to come through it. I think I was lost – I was getting better, then my brother Andrew passed away and that triggered a lot of things – but the best thing is, there’s a lot of help out there now.
“I think it’s really important to celebrate mental health, and no matter whether you’re cured or not cured, it’s important to remember that it can reappear any time, but there are so many support options out there.”
Peter previously opened up about his anxiety struggles, when he revealed that he was hospitalised for his issues.

Reba McEntire and Rex Linn ‘love working together’

OHMYGOSSIP — Reba McEntire has loved working with Rex Linn on her new sitcom.
The 69-year-old singer is set to star alongside her 67-year-old boyfriend in her ‘Happy’s Place’ sitcom – which has already been picked up by NBC – and Reba has revealed that she’s relished the experience so far.
Reba told ‘Extra’: “We’ve gotten to do two other projects together, ABC ‘Big Sky’ and then Lifetime ‘The Hammer’ movie. We love working together.
“What’s really the best part about it, he’s my coach, so when we’re home, he’s helping me with my lines and to memorise. He’s wonderful, helps me a lot.”
Reba is also set to star alongside Melissa Peterman – her long-time friend – in ‘Happy Place’.
The country music singer has loved working with the 52-year-old actress, too.
Reba said: “I love to do sitcoms. They’re so much fun and with Melissa, we have a blast wherever we are, but in front of those four cameras, it’s a lot of mischief happening.”
Earlier this month, Reba revealed that she plans to sing the theme song for her new sitcom.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Reba shared: “I’ll be singing the theme song.
“We’ve started working on it, and we’ll have it soon finished.
“If they say it’s a go, I’ll finish it up and have it ready for when we go to series.”
Reba also teased some details about her on-screen character.
She explained: “My [character Bobbie’s] dad was Happy, that was his name, and we owned a tavern called Happy’s Place. Well, Happy passed, and so he’s passed the tavern onto me, but there’s a little hiccup involved, so that’s the mystery right there.
“Everybody has to tune in and watch it, and I hope they love it.”

Peloton ‘pauses’ use of Diddy’s music and series following Cassie attack video

OHMYGOSSIP — Peloton has reportedly “paused” the use of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ music and his series on its platform.
The 54-year-old rapper was hit by a wave of lawsuits in late 2023 and early 2024, including allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault.
The cases remain active, and he has denied all claims against him.
Since then, a video was released by CNN showing him launching a brutal attack on his 37-year-old ex, Cassie Ventura, at a now-closed Los Angeles hotel, and he’s issued a grovelling apology.
Now, TMZ reports that Peloton wrote on its private members’ Facebook group in response to a disgruntled user: “We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton has paused the use of Sean Combs’ music, as well as removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, on our platform.
“This means our instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes. Again, thank you for sharing your concerns and thank you for being a member of our Peloton community.”
The individual had commented: “Dear Peloton, Your next purge needs to be all Diddy classes. Signed, women everywhere.”
Combs didn’t mention Cassie directly by name in his apology video, which was released on Instagram, and used it to say it was hard for him to talk about “dark” times, before telling his followers he went into therapy and rehab and sought God’s help after he battered Cassie.
Combs said on Sunday (19.05.24) about the footage of him beating Cassie that he had hit “rock bottom” when it was captured, adding he was disgusted with himself over the incident then and now.
Meredith Firetog, a partner at Wigdor LLP, the legal firm representing Cassie, responded to Page Six in a statement: “Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt.”
Referring to the mountain of other accusations of abuse Combs is currently facing, she added: “When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday.
“That he was only compelled to ‘apologise’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”
Cassie had detailed the 2016 assault caught on tape in a bombshell 2023 lawsuit she lodged against Combs, which accused him of abuse.
The music mogul settled out of court over the claims a day after it was filed, but his legal team later said the settlement was in “no way an admission of wrongdoing”.
Footage of him beating Cassie was captured on surveillance cameras at the InterContinental Hotel, showing him kicking her as she lay motionless on the ground before he hurled a glass vase at her after sitting watching her pick up her belongings after the initial attack.
Cassie’s 2023 filing said Combs was “extremely intoxicated” at the time and had punched her “in the face” leaving a “black eye”.

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy is a father of three

OHMYGOSSIP — Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has welcomed his third child into the world.
The ‘Time Is Running Out’ rocker’s model wife, Elle Evans, 34, gave birth to the couple’s second child, George Julien-Wade Bellamy – who is named after Matt’s father – on Mother’s Day in the US (12.05.24).
The date is also poignant as it’s Elle’s mom Julie’s birthday.
Elle – who also has daughter Lovella, four, with the musician, who she tied the knot with in 2019 – sang her spouse’s praises and gushed that it’s an “honour to bring another brilliant Bellamy into existence.”
Alongside a series of photographs of the newborn with his family, she wrote on Instagram: “We are so pleased to announce the arrival of our new baby angel boy, George Julien-Wade Bellamy.
Born on Sunday May 12, 2024. The most special blessing born on Mother’s Day and what would’ve been my late Mother’s 60th birthday. Named after Matt’s Dad George, my Mom Julie, and my cowboy dad Billy Wade Evans. He arrived healthy, happy, and handsome as ever!!! We are obsessed and basking in newborn heavenly bliss!!! I am recovering well and he has already settled into such a nice routine. So grateful to my wonderfully perfect husband @mattbellamy for being so supportive and by my side every step of the way! It’s an honor to bring another brilliant Bellamy into existence! (sic)”
Matt, 45, is also father to Bingham, 12, with his ex-fiancé, Hollywood actress Kate Hudson, 45, and she recently admitted she would happily babysit his children.
Kate – who also has Ryder, 20, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and five-year-old Rani with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa – is “so happy” to have what she calls a “real family unit” around her because she can see everyone feels “safe” amid the setup.
Referring to Lovella, she told PEOPLE: “I’m like ‘Yeah, bring her over!’ And I’m sitting with all the kids and I’m like, I am so happy we have this real family unit that’s big. It’s beautiful. Everybody’s open to it and understands it’s the most mature thing for the kids. And you can see it in them — they feel loved, they feel protected, they feel safe.”

Shannen Doherty urges Charmed fans to petition CBS

OHMYGOSSIP — Shannen Doherty has urged ‘Charmed’ fans to throw their support behind a reunion series.
The 53-year-old actress – who played Prue Halliwell on the hit drama series between 1998 and 2001 – has encouraged fans to petition CBS in a bid to get the project off the ground.
Speaking on her ‘Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty’ podcast, she explained: “The way that it works is that as actors, unless we wrote the show, created it and produced it, we have no rights to it.
“I believe CBS owns the show. The only person or company that can make a reunion happen is CBS.”
Shannen subsequently urged fans to make their feelings known to CBS.
The actress said: “So if you guys really want one you have to bombard their Instagram, [CBS’] Facebook, write mail. I don’t even know how to do any of that but that’s the only way.
“You know, do some petitions and send them in. That’s pretty much the only way that it would happen.”
Shannen was actually fired from ‘Charmed’ around the third season of the show.
The actress has now insisted that she would’ve rejected any invitation to return for the finale, admitting that returning to the set would’ve “crushed” her.
Shannen – who famously clashed with Alyssa Milano, her ‘Charmed’ co-star, during her time on the show – shared: “I regret it one sense – I regret it for the fans.
“But I don’t regret it for me, because I was so incredibly wrecked from getting fired that, I think, even years – years – years later, had I walked on that set, it just would’ve stirred everything back up for me. And it would’ve crushed me all over again.”

“But I still have a little bit more peace until the show comes out – I’m gonna enjoy it.”
The new season of ‘Selling Sunset’ will also shine a light on the couple’s more private moments.
Chrishell shared: “It is something that we share and open up, where we’re at with everything. So I think people will be excited to see more of that.”
The loved-up couple tied the knot in Las Vegas in May 2023, and G Flip subsequently described their wedding day as the “best day of [their] life”.

Charlie Hunnam admits he’s ‘not nearly as rich’ after turning down Fifty Shades of Grey

OHMYGOSSIP — Charlie Hunnam admitted he’s “not nearly as rich” as he would have been if he had taken on the role of Christian Grey in the blockbuster ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ franchise.
The 44-year-old actor – who is best known for his portrayal of Jax Teller in the FX series ‘Sons of Anarchy’ – was at first reluctant to speak out on his decision to ditch the role in the erotica rom-com films, which went to Jamie Dornan, who starred alongside Dakota Johnson’s Anastasia Steele.
However, he gave some titbits, including that he is yet to watch the three films – which were released between 2015 and 2018 – but has it on his to-do list.
He told TMZ out and about: “Aw man, can’t talk about this!”
However, asked how it impacted the rest of his career, he confessed: “I’m not nearly as rich as I would have been.”
Asked if he has watched the films, he replied: “I have not seen it, but that’s not intentional. I’ve been meaning to watch it. Been waiting to see it!”
Despite poor ratings, the series grossed more than $1.32 billion worldwide, making it the sixth highest-grossing R-rated franchise of all-time.
Charlie’s exit is said to have spurred on series creator EL James to scrap Patrick Marber’s script, according to Dakota.
She told Vanity Fair in 2022: “We’d do the takes of the movie that Erika (James) wanted to make, and then we would do the takes of the movie that we wanted to make.
Charlie decided to reject the role because of the “emotionally destructive” character; Grey was abused by his mother’s pimp, was seduced by his late mom’s friend and channelled his anger and trauma into a BDSM lifestyle as a Dominant and a Sadist.
Charlie previously confessed to V Man magazine in 2015: “It was the worst professional experience of my life.
“It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I’ve ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking.”

Liverpool to be renamed Taylor Town when Eras Tour hits the city

OHMYGOSSIP — Liverpool will be renamed Taylor Town when 150,000 descend on the city for the superstar’s June Anfield Stadium shows.
The ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker is set to bring the global phenomenon that is ‘The Eras World Tour’ to the northern city in England on June 13, 14 and 15.
And Liverpool City Council has revealed the city is getting a new name in celebration of the Grammy winner, plus 11 art installations inspired by each era of Taylor’s career, which will open on June 8.
Taylor’s shows are reportedly set to boost UK spending by almost £1 billion.
The ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker is playing 15 dates in June and August, with over a million fans expected to attend and spend an average of £848 on the event, including tickets, accommodation, travel and outfits.
Recent data released by Barclays and the bank’s chief behavioural scientist Dr Peter Brooks explained: “When it comes to cultural icons like Taylor Swift – like we saw with Elvis and Beatlemania in the 50s and 60s – supporters have such a strong connection to the artist and to the rest of the fandom that the desire to spend becomes even more powerful.
“For non-fans, £848 may seem like an enormous amount to splash out on a concert, but for Eras Tour ticket-holders, every pound they spend is an investment in the memories they’ll create.”
Fans are said to be spending an average of £206 on an Eras Tour ticket, with 14 per cent of fans also spending over £400 each on various perks, from VIP packages to exclusive merchandise.
With many concertgoers travelling to another city for the event, travel will cost an average of £111 and accommodation a further £121, with gigs being held in Liverpool, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London.
With new themed outfits, meals out before the show and Swift-themed after parties, it’s expected to contribute an overall boost of £997 million for the UK economy.
Last month, Taylor, 34, made it into the Forbes’ World Billionaires list for the first time and became the first person in history to reach a net worth of $1 billion solely through their music or performances.
The publication said: “Celebrities are getting richer, too. Taylor Swift ($1.1 billion) joins the 2024 ranks—the first musician to do it based solely on songwriting and performing — after the record-breaking first leg of her ‘Eras’ tour.”

Harry Potter star James Phelps likes to run up huge hotel bills and charge them to his twin brother

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Harry Potter’ star James Phelps likes to run up massive hotel room and bar bills and put them on his twin brother Oliver’s credit card.
The siblings starred as the hilarious Fred and George Weasley in the blockbuster wizarding franchise, who were known for their pranks, and they are just as mischievous in real life.
James cheekily confessed to the supplement Travel: “For me the biggest perk of being a twin is being able to order food and drink in a hotel, and charge it back to my brother’s room.
“I usually find a place to watch him discover what I’ve done whenever he checks out.”
Sharing another bonus to being famous, he added: “In Paris we were both dying to see the Louvre but were gutted because it was closed on our only day off. Then at 9am we had a knock on our hotel room. Somehow someone had managed to open the Louvre just for us.”
Meanwhile, Potter fans visiting London were in for a treat, as Aunt Marge drifted across the London Skyline in a scene out of the wizarding world.

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie haven’t changed, says Lionel Richie

OHMYGOSSIP — Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie “haven’t changed” since ‘The Simple Life’.
The celebrity duo starred in the hit reality TV series for five seasons, and Lionel Richie – Nicole’s dad – believes they’ve hardly changed in the last 20 years.
Lionel, 74, told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “They haven’t changed.
“Let me tell you something, those two scare me just standing next to each other. And I don’t know if the world knows this, they started this mess, and I was the first guinea pig daddy to go along with this.”
Paris, 43, and Nicole, 42, recently teased a new TV project.
Lionel, meanwhile, still has vivid memories of their time on ‘The Simple Life’.
He said: “When they first started doing things like driving down the freeway backwards and I kept saying, ‘What are you guys doing?’ [They’d say] ‘It’s reality television, dad!’
“And now these two are back together, oh my god, world, hang on to your seat. Thank god I’m older and my medication will get me through the next phase of our lives.”
Meanwhile, Nicole recently revealed that she’s having more fun than ever in her 40s.
The TV star has enjoyed lots of highs and lows in her life – but she’s never been happier.
Speaking to Interview magazine, Nicole – who is married to Joel Madden – shared: “My 40s are the absolute most fun decade, and I find myself name-dropping my age now more than ever, simply because I want people to understand the state of mind that I’m in.
“I am not some 20-year-old idiot. I am a 42-year-old woman.”
Nicole rose to prominence on ‘The Simple Life’, but she doesn’t actually have vivid memories from that era of her life.
She said: “There are parts of me that just don’t feel that far enough away from the early 2000s to think of it in any sort of distinctive matter.
“I’ve been called to do photo shoots and they say, ‘Okay, and we want to do early 2000s,’ and then I see the clothes and I don’t remember that version of it at all.”

Katie Price would love to marry again and have more children

OHMYGOSSIP — Katie Price would “love” to marry current partner JJ Slater and have more children “one day”.
The bankrupt mother-of-five – who has Harvey, 21, with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with Peter Andre, and Jett, 10, and Bunny, nine, with Kieran Hayler – insists that whilst she would love to expand her brood and walk down the aisle for the fourth time, she is in “no rush” and is taking things slower in her new romance.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she shared: “What I’ve learned in therapy is that I’ve rushed a lot of my relationships and I’ve made so many mistakes before. Yes, it would be lovely to get married one day and I would love more children, but there’s no need to rush. The best thing is just getting to know each other and spending time together.”
Katie, whose ‘Married At First Sight’ star partner is 31, also quipped that dating younger people runs in the family.
She said of her current partner: “JJ looks like he’s in his 20s, but he’s nearly 32! Do you know what’s weird? In my mum and dad’s relationship, my dad is younger, and now Junior is also following in the footsteps and going for an older woman. It must run in our family!”
To help her get through the stress of her financial woes, the 45-year-old former glamour model is receiving treatment from The Priory and is set to share her medical notes from the adult rehab clinic in her upcoming tome, ‘This Is Me’.
On how she is coping, she said: “The Priory. I am getting a lot of support right now, because it’s all just so damaging to me. My memoir, This Is Me, is coming out in July, and I think people are going to be gobsmacked. I’ll be putting my Priory notes in there, because I think people need to see how I’ve been suffering and how I’ve got through it all.”
Katie has been married three times to Peter, 51, Alex Reid, 48, and Kieran Hayler, 37, whilst she was engaged to car dealer Carl Woods, 35, before meeting JJ.

Colton Underwood is set to become a father

OHMYGOSSIP — Colton Underwood and his husband Jordan C. Brown are going to be fathers this October.
The 32-year-old former ‘Bachelor’ star has been open about his fertility struggles but is excited to announce they have finally been successful and welcome a baby boy, via surrogate, in an interview for Men’s Health.
Colton has spoken out about his infertility through his podcast, ‘ Daddyhood’, in a bid to help end the stigma surrounding the common issue but he was only convinced to do so after his friends encouraged him.
He explained: “The whole point of me doing a podcast and not putting cameras in my house, besides the fact that Jordan would never do that, was to protect myself a little more, to not let people in.
“I was like, Oh, I should talk about this publicly,” says Underwood. “Because nobody talks about this publicly.”
Sharing the news alongside the article and pictures of their scans, the couple shared on Instagram: “our little boy is coming this fall. (sic)”
The reality star recently shared his “shame” over his fertility struggles.
He told Parents magazine: “Well before our wedding, we started all of this. And going through this journey for me and him too, it’s really emotional in many different ways that we never really thought [it would be].
“When we first went in [to our fertility clinic], we went in sort of skipping, holding hands, all happy. We were going to give our sample and freeze our sperm—day one of starting our family—and I got my sperm results back, and I had four sperm. Three of them were dead. One was barely moving in my sample. It was one of those things where [I was basically] considered technically infertile. I was like, ‘This sucks. This is hard.’
“It is hard, and it’s so intimate. I had so much shame around it. I felt inferior. My ego took a hit, because I pride myself on being a healthy athlete. All of a sudden, you can’t do the one thing that you really want to do and produce sperm.”
Colton – who came out as gay in 2021 and tied the knot with Jordan last year – also revealed that the pair knew from the beginning that they wanted children together.
He said: “One of the first things that Jordan and I bonded over was our want to be fathers. That was especially important because, as I’ve been on my coming out journey, [wanting to be a dad] was one of the factors that kept me in the closet. I didn’t really know it was possible to build a family as a gay man, until I came out, until I started having more conversations with Jordan and started educating myself.
“My greatest hope is that everybody will treat people with kindness and love and treat them as human beings. Everybody deserves a family—and we’re trying our best.”

Buddhism has helped me to cope with fame, says Camila Cabello

OHMYGOSSIP — Camila Cabello is “really into Buddhism”.
The 27-year-old pop star has revealed that she’s found various “mechanisms” to cope with the pressures of fame and success, including embracing Buddhist philosophical ideas.
Camila – who shot to fame as a teenager as part of Fifth Harmony – said on the ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast: “I don’t think I would’ve changed when I started [ in the music industry], because so many parts of my personality today are because of the tools and the skills and … some adaptive and some maladaptive mechanisms that I had to develop to survive and thrive.
“For example, I’m really into Buddhism. That would have never happened, because I need those tools – being calm and being able to pull through. But also, it carries over to other life stuff where I feel like I’m wiser than I would have been.”
Camila also admitted that the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be a turning point for her.
The ‘Havana’ hitmaker actually managed to develop a number of new life skills – including learning how to cook and how to drive – during the global health crisis.
She reflected: “I grew up fast but then there have been times … like, for example, COVID when I learned how to drive and I learned how to cook, and I was just living the most normal life.”
Camila has enjoyed huge success as part of Fifth Harmony and as a solo artist.
However, the chart-topping star is constantly making small adjustments in order to find the ideal balance in her life.
Camila explained: “Life is like riding a bike and you’re constantly balancing. It’s like … ‘Oh, a little more weight here!’ Just, like, tiny adjustments.”

Ryan Reynolds comments on speculation Taylor Swift is in Deadpool and Wolverine

OHMYGOSSIP — Ryan Reynolds admitted “anything could happen” amid rumours Taylor Swift is to play Dazzler in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Gossip is rife that the 34-year-old pop superstar is to play the singing mutant in Reynolds’ (Deadpool) and Hugh Jackman’s (Wolverine) eagerly awaited flick, ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’, and the Hollywood star insists anything is on the cards in the MCU.
Speaking to Fandango, Reynolds said of the speculation: “Movies like this, there’s so much speculation, so many people that might end up in the film. I mean, I saw one that was convinced Elvis was in the movie. Anything could happen, and that’s sort of what I love about this universe and this world. Surprises are the essence of Deadpool.”
If Taylor is superheroine Dazzler – who can convert sound vibrations into light and energy beams – she would join hosts of stars who have made cameos in Marvel productions, including Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt, and Seth Green.
Meanwhile, Reynolds admitted he is shocked that Disney have allowed ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ to be a “Hard R”.
The 47-year-old star is “surprised” that the studio gave film bosses the creative content for an adult story.
He told the outlet: “I’m really proud of them for doing this. I think it’s a huge step for them. It adds a whole other colour to this kaleidoscopic wheel that is that company and the different people that they have been entertaining for forever.”
The ‘IF’ actor added: “I was surprised though that they let us go as Hard R… but very grateful. I mean, there’s no other way to do it.
“For this character and this world, and particularly ‘Logan’ being an R-rated film as well, I felt like that was the most full-throated version of Wolverine and Logan that we’ve ever seen as well, so it really allowed us a lot of freedom, not exploiting the R rating just to do R-rated stuff, but really allowing us to do anything and everything in a world where anything and everything is possible.”
Shawn Levy has directed the superhero flick – which is set to be released in July – and has promised that the film is a “two-hander character adventure” as opposed to just ‘Deadpool 3’.
He told Screen Rant: “As far as crafting the ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles.
“It also gave me an opportunity. It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not ‘Deadpool 3’. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine.
“And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”

Katy Perry wants a woman to replace her on American Idol

OHMYGOSSIP — Katy Perry thinks a female star should replace her on ‘American Idol’.
The 39-year-old singer previously suggested that Jelly Roll should be her replacement on the hit TV show – but on reflection, Katy now believes there should always be a female voice on the ‘American Idol’ panel.
Katy – who starred on the TV show alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan – told E! News: “That would be too many men, let’s be honest.
“But we love Jelly Roll, and I’d love for him to be on this show whenever it’s appropriate.”
Katy also stressed that her replacement needs to be someone who is “honest and bold, not scared of negative comments”.
What’s more, the chart-topping singer suggested that she’s faced more scrutiny than her male co-stars.
Katy said: “When you have an opinion, when you’re bold, when you’re a female, it just happens.”
In April, Katy actually tipped Jelly as her ideal replacement on the show.
The ‘California Gurls’ hitmaker told E! News at the time: “I gotta say Jelly Roll was crazy when he came on the show.
“I was convinced at anything he said. He could run for president, he could be my pastor, I might go back to church for him. He could sell me anything.
“So I love him. And to have any of these guys plus Jelly on the show would be amazing. I love you, Jelly!”
But ultimately, Katy wants a “truth teller” to replace her on the ‘American Idol’ panel.
The pop star – who quit the TV show earlier this year in order to focus on other career opportunities – said: “I want someone that is not afraid to tell the truth in a graceful way.”
