Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s mum leaks secrets online

OHMYGOSSIP — Leigh-Anne Pinnock has been warned not to share big news with her mum Debbie because she’s been known to “leak” secrets on social media.
The former Little Mix star has branded Debbie a “nightmare” over the way she accidentally over-shares online, but Leigh-Anne admits her fans love her mum’s indiscretions.
The singer told The Sunday Times newspaper: “Mum is always on Twitter and has been known to leak stuff, so she’s a nightmare. My managers would say: ‘Whatever you do, don’t tell Debbie’, but the fans loved it.”
However, Leigh-Anne – who is raising twin girls – appreciates the way her mum fights trolls on her behalf. She added: “[Mum] does clap back and reply to trolls sometimes because she’s quite protective. I can only imagine how it would feel seeing your daughter being talked about in negative ways. Having my own twin daughters now, I know I would lose it.”
She added of Debbie: “My strength is from her. She’s my rock.”
Debbie also took part in the interview and she spoke about her social media antics, explaining she is just very defensive of her daughter. She said: “I have been in trouble a few times for commenting on something that I shouldn’t have on Twitter. The things people used to write about all the girls made me wonder how people can be so nasty.”

Having two 2½-year-old girls running around causing chaos makes me so grateful to be able to call on my own mum. I don’t know what I’d do without her. It has definitely brought us closer.

Mum has been there every step of the way. She had been through 11 years of Little Mix so could see we had formed the most incredible sisterhood, but she also knew we needed the break we took in 2022, and that I needed to stand on my own two feet with my solo career. I hope seeing me tackle it on my own has made her proud. My strength is from her. She’s my rock.

I have been in trouble a few times for commenting on something that I shouldn’t have on Twitter. The things people used to write about all the girls made me wonder how people can be so nasty.

Kerry Katona admits she ‘can’t cope’ as her children start to move out

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona “can’t cope” as her children have started to move out.
The 43-year-old star – who was initially married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden from 2002 until 2006 and has Molly, 22, and 21-year-old Lilly-Sue with him but went on to have Heidi, 17, and Max, 16, with second husband Mark Croft and also has nine-year-old daughter DJ with the late George Kay – is preparing to send her third child off to university, whilst her second is making plans to make like her older sister and move to Ireland to be with her dad’s side of the family.
Writing in her OK! Magazine column, she said: “Heidi and I are going to have a little date night in London this week as I’m doing some work there and I’m taking her along. We have such a laugh together – she’s my golden child.
“She’s moving to Liverpool to go to a performing arts school in the summer once she finishes her GCSEs and I’m really going to miss her. I can’t cope!
“She hates to admit it, but Heidi is definitely a mummy’s girl, so she’ll miss me too. Soon I’m only going to have Max and DJ at home, who will still be at each other’s throats…
“Lilly is looking for a fresh start so has decided she’s going to move over to Ireland to live with her grandparents on her dad’s side. I think it’s a good thing because she’s 21 so it’ll be nice for her to stand on her own two feet, she rules the roost at our house!”
The former Atomic Kitten singer is now engaged to fitness instructor Ryan Mahoney, 35, and recently explained that while they had considered moving to the Spanish city of Marbella, they are now looking to stay in the UK and move to a smaller house.
She said: “It’s no secret that Ryan and I have been thinking of uprooting to Marbella for a while, but now we’re undecided. We have read that there’s been a couple of shootings in that area and we’re just not sure if it’s the best place for our family to move to.
“Now, the plan is to stay in England and we’ve been viewing houses already – but we’d definitely like to downsize, as Heidi will be going to college soon, so it’ll just be Max, DJ, Ryan and I. A new home is on the horizon – but we won’t need as many rooms!”

Hugh Grant finds watching himself on screen ‘horrifying’

OHMYGOSSIP — Hugh Grant refuses to watch himself on screen.
The ‘Bridget Jones’ star, 63, admits it’s “horrifying” whenever he accidentally lands on a channel playing one of his movies.
He told WHO magazine: “If something I am in comes on, I change the channel.
“It gives me absolutely no pleasure what’s so ever to watch myself.
“Maybe accidentally late at night in a drunken moment when I’m channel hopping.
“But genuinely watching myself on screen is horrifying to me.”
Elsewhere, the ‘Notting Hill’ star admitted he loves the “shocking vanity and narcissism” that comes with playing the bad guy, and the fact women love a “baddie”.
He said: “I never used to think I would but now I do, yes.
“Being a baddie suits me better I think. It’s closer to me. Also, the layers of duplicity that come with playing a baddie suits acting because acting is all about covering things up.
“I enjoy that kind of shocking vanity and narcissism in a character. It’s something to do with me getting older I think. But we all love a baddie, not just actors. Audiences like baddies. Girls like baddies.”
The ‘Unfrosted’ star – who played the thieving Oompa Lumpa in ‘Wonka’ – believes he would still be in advertising if he didn’t become a Hollywood star.
He said: “Before acting, I was in advertising.
“I wrote and produced radio commercials and produced them. I was quite happy doing that so maybe I would still be doing it if this hadn’t worked out. I wrote some good ads for Mighty White sliced bread.”

Bruce Dickinson’s third marriage is his ‘calmest’

OHMYGOSSIP — Bruce Dickinson’s third marriage is the “calmest” he’s “ever had”.
The 65-year-old Iron Maiden frontman had been dating French fitness instructor Leana Dolci, 48, since 2019, and they tied the knot last year.
He was initially married to Jane Dickinson from 1983 until 1987, and was then married to the late Paddy Bowden – with whom he has Austin, 33, Griffin, 31, and 29-year-old Kia – from 1990 until 2019, but she was found dead the following year at the age of just 58 in what was described as a “tragic accident.”
He told The Big Issue of married life this time around: “Because I’ve just got married for the third time. All I can do is just talk about my relationship right now because it’s the calmest I’ve ever had. And it’s great. We have fun, we laugh, but we’re not manic. We can be in the same room and not feel the need to go ‘are you all right?’ We are happy just breathing the same air. And getting married hasn’t changed that.”
The musician and pilot has come a long way since his days of roughing it.
He said of his Isle of Dogs home in London: “There was polythene on the windows, they were all big pot smokers, so they’d all sit around smoking bongs then go back to their bedrooms and I used to roll myself up in a sheet and sleep on the couch. Luxury! It was one of these 1930s apartment blocks, and in a terrible state. Years later, after I’d joined Iron Maiden we did a song called 2 Minutes to Midnight. The video director said, we’re going to have these mercenaries holed up in a really disgusting flat. He showed me the picture of it, and I said, I used to live there!”

Trevor Noah finds it ‘strange’ when celebrities try to be friends

OHMYGOSSIP — Trevor Noah finds it “strange” when celebrities try to be friends with each other just because they are famous.
The 40-year-old comedian noticed when he became host of ‘The Daily Show’ almost a decade ago that as his profile began to rise, fellow famous faces would insist on getting his number so they could arrange to meet up but then they would never respond to his messages.
Speaking on the ‘SmartLess’ podcast, he said: “I always found it strange that people would try to be friends just because they’re in a similar space. I remember when I first came to America and I would get invited to events because I was part of ‘The Daily Show’ and people would be like ‘Oh my God, we should hang out, take my number’ or say ‘We gotta get a coffee…’ and I would give people my number.
“I thought I was making so many friends, I thought these people were so friendly and it was amazing.
“And then I would hear nothing from the. I would message them and they wouldn’t respond at all.”
The Emmy Award-winning star noted that celebrities tend to change their contact details regularly, but noted that on a few occasions, the same people would demand his number for a second time, completely forgetting that they already had it in the first place.
He added: “By the way, people in Hollywood change their numbers all the time. Everbody has a new number all the time!”
“This has happened a few times – I would meet the same person at another event, maybe like a year later. And they were like ‘Oh my God, Trevor, we gotta hang out, let me get your number.’
“And I would say ‘I think you have my number’ but they would say ‘Oh, I changed phones…’ and I would put my number in their phone and on the screen, it would just pop up. They already had it!”

The 46-year-old former glamour model took to Instagram on Sunday (26.05.24) to share video which showed large patches of corroded paint all over her bright pink Range Rover and she claimed a group of thugs had sneaked onto her property in West Sussex in the middle of the night to deface her vehicle.

“I can’t wait to get out of that house I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house for nine years. I hate the Mucky Mansion, I never want to see it again and I can’t wait to move into my new place, I am so excited. New beginnings, new start, reset button, I love it.
“But don’t worry, I’ll be featuring my new house on my YouTube channel when I get the keys and welcoming you to my new house, I can’t wait, I just want to get rid of all the bad stuff in the past and have a fresh start.”

Shania Twain has ‘a lot of’ emotional and physical scars

OHMYGOSSIP — Shania Twain has “a lot of” emotional and physical scars”
The ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ hitmaker has been through a lot in her almost six decades on the planet.
Speaking to Elizabeth Day on the ‘How to Fail’ podcast, she said: “I have a lot of scars.
“I have a lot of scars from cooking. I have a lot of scars from working in the bush with sharp tools. I have a lot of emotional scars. … I’ve been through a challenging childhood and then my open throat surgery. Over time, I have realised that all of those experiences have really made me who I am today and I wear them well.”
And when life gets tough, she channels her pain into words.
She shared: “I’ll document my feelings, I’ll put things down, they’re very raw, they’re very real, they’re very in the moment, and I live them. I like to live through my suffering.”
Some of the notes will turn into lyrics, but she likes to change them to be more upbeat.
She explained: “They’re now reflections of what I’ve been through.
“But they are on the other side. They are the healed experience with a scar.”
The ‘You’re Still the One’ hitmaker admits she can be comfortable in her own skin one day and not the next.
She said: “I’ve been someone that has been coming into my comfort my whole life. I think it’s just a process. I live it every day.”
Shania also admitted she used to be too timid to show off her body in revealing outfits for years.
She insisted: “Now, I’m perfectly fine.
“But it’s been a process for me. The ‘Man! I Feel Like a Woman!’ video was the very first time I’d ever performed with legs at all.”

Geezer Butler left out loads from his memoir to avoid getting sued

OHMYGOSSIP — Geezer Butler had to leave out pages and pages of tales from his memoir to avoid being “sued”.
The former Black Sabbath star was asked if he is planning to put out another autobiography after releasing ‘Into the Void: From Birth to Black Sabbath – and Beyond’ – but he says the material he has left could get him into a lot of trouble if he goes public, so it’s unlikely.
Speaking to comic Brian Posehn at the ‘Filling The Void’ event in Colorado, he said: “Um… It depends if I’m gonna get sued or not. [Laughs] ‘Cause I had to leave out so much stuff. They were saying, ‘Oh, you can’t say that.’ ‘You can’t say that.’ ‘How can you prove that?’ and all that kind of thing. So I don’t think there would be enough for another one.”
The blurb read: “Butler tells his side of the story, from the band’s beginnings as a scrappy blues quartet in Birmingham through the struggles leading to the many well-documented lineup changes while touring around London’s gritty clubs (Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, and The Who makes notable appearances!), and the band’s important later years. He writes honestly of his childhood in a working-class family of seven in Luftwaffe-battered Birmingham, his almost-life as an accountant, and how his disillusionment with organized religion and class systems would spawn the lyrics and artistic themes that would resonate so powerfully with fans around the world. Into the Void reveals the softer side of the heavy metal legend and the formation of one of rock’s most exciting bands, while holding nothing back.”
In the brutally honest tome, Geezer revealed his battle with depression and self-harm.
The legendary metal band’s bassist-and-lyricist opened up in great detail about his battle with his mental health over the years, and how he would cut himself so he wouldn’t be focused on his mental state.
In an interview with Uncut magazine, he said: “People didn’t understand. You’d go to the doctor and he’d say, ‘Go and have a couple of pints’ or, ‘Go and walk the dog.’ I thought, ‘Well, that’s not going to help me. Nobody talked about it and nobody understood it. I just thought in the end it was a normal thing to be depressed and I started cutting myself to get relief. One day I cut myself so deeply that I couldn’t stop the blood. People used to think I was really moody, but it was when the depression hit me I couldn’t get out of it, I couldn’t talk to people. People used to think I was miserable.”
The Ozzy Osbourne-fronted heavy metal band went on to have a huge hit with ‘Paranoid’, which Geezer penned about mental health, and it wasn’t until a long time after then that he decided to seek treatment and he has been on a number of different medications ever since.
The 74-year-old musician said: “Then I wrote the song ‘Paranoid’ which is all about mental health stuff and it wasn’t until ages after that that I went to the doctor and they gave me pills. I had a mental breakdown, went to a doctor in America and he put me on Prozac. After about six weeks on that, the depression started lifting. I’ve been on various antidepressants ever since.”
The band released the LP ‘Paranoid’ in 1970 and it was a huge success, giving them their first of only two number ones in the UK, along with 2013’s ’13’.
However, even all the money and success couldn’t cure Geezer’s depression.
He said: “I enjoyed the success of the album, absolutely.
“People would say you’ve got all this money coming in, you’ve got a No 1 album, what have you got to be depressed about? It’s like a disease – there’s nothing you can do about it, no matter how much money you’ve got or how happy you are with your job. When you’re in it you don’t think you’re going to get out of it. I’d go into this big black hole. And once you’re in it you can’t remember what normal life was like.
“People used to think if you were depressed, that you were antisocial, miserable.”

Mike Tyson suffers health scare onboard flight

OHMYGOSSIP — Mike Tyson is “doing great” after suffering a health scare onboard a flight.
The former heavyweight champion became “nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up” during an American Airlines flight from Miami to Los Angeles.
In a statement given to PEOPLE, Mike’s rep explained: “He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”
The ulcer flare-up occurred 30 minutes before the plane landed.
Paramedics ultimately boarded the plane in order to assist the 57-year-old sports star.
Mike’s flight was actually delayed for two hours because of an “air conditioning issue on the aircraft”, with a rep insisting that Mike’s health scare wasn’t a factor in the delay.
The former heavyweight champion is currently preparing to face Jake Paul in a boxing match.
The much-anticipated event is scheduled to be held in Arlington, Texas, on July 20.
Looking forward to the fight, Mike previously said: “I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT and T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.
“It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him.”
Meanwhile, Jake recently described facing Mike as the “ultimate test of warfare”.
The 27-year-old star – who has turned his focus to boxing in recent years – told TMZ Sports: “I’m going to have to manage the nerves and excitement.
“This is my ultimate test of warfare and that excites me.”

Playing James Bond would be the ultimate, says Lucien Laviscount

OHMYGOSSIP — Lucien Laviscount would love to play James Bond one day.
The 31-year-old actor – who is best-known for appearing in ‘Emily in Paris’ – believes playing 007 would be the “ultimate” career challenge.
Lucien told Us Weekly: “I’d love to dive into more action roles, we shot a movie last year that was one fight sequence after another with explosions going off left and right. I absolutely loved it.
“I think at some point to play James Bond would be the ultimate.”
Lucien has relished his time on ‘Emily in Paris’, the hit Netflix series.
The actor shared: “That’s exactly what you see on ‘Emily in Paris’ – a character that I’ve loved playing for three seasons now. I feel so grateful to have been able to bring Alfie to life on screen.”
Despite this, Lucien doesn’t actually have a lot in common with his on-screen character.
He said: “My own style – that’s a different thing altogether. I wear what I want, depending on how I’m feeling. To describe it, I guess I’ll let it speak for itself, for better for worse.”
Earlier this year, Lucien starred in Shakira’s music video for ‘Puntería’.
The actor subsequently admitted to loving his experience of working with Shakira.
He told E! News: “Honestly, I still haven’t really come to grips with any of it.
“To work with such an amazing talent, artist and human being was incredible. I took so much from that, and I think everyone can learn from that beautiful woman and who she is.”
Asked what he’s learned from the Grammy-winning star, Lucien replied: “The way that she operates with her team, and her passion for things, and how she envisions things, and how she wants things to be done, it’s all from the heart and how she expresses that to people.
“People will go to the ends of the earth for her – her team, the people that are around her, everyone on that set – because it comes from the heart.”

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler ‘are still going strong’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler are “going strong”.
The 22-year-old model and Austin, 32, have been dating since late 2021, and the celebrity couple appeared to be “happy and in love” when they were spotted together over the weekend.
A source told PEOPLE: “Kaia and Austin are going strong.”
Kaia – who is the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber – and Austin both appeared to be in great spirits, as they were seen heading to Smalls jazz club in New York’s West Village.
The insider shared: “They held hands the entire way to dinner and stopped and hugged a few times before going into a club. They definitely looked happy and in love.”
Austin dated actress Vanessa Hudgens for eight years until they split in 2020.
And earlier this year, the brunette beauty claimed that their break-up “catapulted” her to true love.
Vanessa, 35 – who is now married to sports star Cole Tucker – said on the ‘She Pivots’ podcast: “I feel like so much of my character was built from my break-ups … I feel like my last break-up has really catapulted me to a very, very special place, obviously.
“It pushed me to the right person which I’m so grateful for because he’s just the most supportive, real understanding human being that I’ve ever met.”
Prior to that, Austin rubbished suggestions that he’s tried to “erase” his relationship with Vanessa.
The Hollywood star told Esquire magazine: “I felt that I was respecting her privacy in a way and not wanting to bring up a ton of things that would cause her to have to talk.
“I have so much love and care for her. It was in no way trying to erase anything. I value my own privacy so much. I didn’t want to give up anybody else’s privacy.”

Jeremy Renner recalls being told he wouldn’t run again

OHMYGOSSIP — Jeremy Renner was told he wouldn’t run again after his snowplow accident.
The Hollywood star was seriously injured in the accident in January 2023 – but Jeremy has managed to defy expectations by learning to walk and run again.
Jeremy, 53, told PEOPLE: “For me, it meant so much because to go from a wheelchair and limping around with the cane and [being] told you’re never going to walk right again and you’re never going to run again, it was pretty hopeful for me.”
The movie star remembers being hugely encouraged by his early progress.
Jeremy said: “You got something on your side. When you get hope, hope is a powerful ally. A lot of things help us build hope, and progress helps us build hope. That’s the easy one.
“Failures don’t feel like they do, but they also really fuel hope because you could get progress out of failures. You can’t really keep progressing without failing. You got to have both. You have to fail to succeed.”
Jeremy was injured when he tried to remove a stranded family member’s car from the snow near his home.
The ‘Hurt Locker’ star broke more than 30 bones in the accident.
He subsequently wrote on Instagram: “Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years …. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love [heart emoji] I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all. These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens . Love and blessings to you all. (sic)”

Hollywood’s understanding of beauty has changed, says Tom Burke

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Burke believes Hollywood’s “understanding of beauty” has evolved.
The 42-year-old actor – who stars alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth in ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ – has suggested that the movie industry has become more open-minded about beauty standards in recent years.
He told The Independent: “I think even in America, there’s a very much more diverse understanding of beauty than there was in, say, the 80s or even 90s.”
Despite this, Tom still admires actors and actresses who fully commit to their on-screen roles.
He said: “I have enormous admiration for people who are in the gym at four o’clock in the morning and then the cryochamber and egg whites for breakfast. And you know, I’ll do some version of that when it’s required.”
Meanwhile, Tom previously insisted that having dyslexia hasn’t hindered his career.
The actor claimed that his learning difficulty is “not a big deal” in his professional life.
He told the Guardian newspaper: “In my teens, I’d only read one book and that took me about two years. Suddenly at 17, I became a reader for the first time. It still takes me a few seconds to look at a clock face and work out what the time is. But it’s not a big deal for me.
“I’m starting to wonder if I have a bit of ADHD, frankly, but that’s a complete self-diagnosis. I’m no good at sitting still or staring at screens. It felt very liberating to admit that to myself. I need to get out and move.”
Tom has been tipped as a possible candidate to become James Bond one day.
Asked about the possibility of playing 007, Tom replied: “I have some weird, magical, superstition about that, that you’re not supposed to talk about it or something.”
