OHMYGOSSIP — Lea Seydoux claims that growing older is “like a disease” in the United States.
The 38-year-old actress admits that she feels fortunate to be a film star in Europe as she thinks that famous faces are judged are differently on the other side of the Atlantic.
Speaking to The Sunday Times newspaper, Lea said: “You have to enhance everything in the States. Everything has to be heightened. It’s a whole way of thinking that is different to here in Europe.
“Maybe because it’s a young country? So people want to stay young for ever? It’s a society that is infantilising and you cannot get older in America, you know? It’s almost like a disease there, getting older.”
Lea insists that the standards apply to both men and women.
The ‘Dune: Part Two’ star said: “It’s the same for men. It’s part of their culture. In America you are always infantilised. From the adverts you see in the streets to the writing they put on their cereal packets. I feel lucky to be a European actress.”
Seydoux appeared in two James Bond films in the role of Dr. Madeleine Swann and explained that it made sense for her to be an equal of Daniel Craig’s 007 as it “reflects the society we’re living in”.
She said: “It would’ve been weird to do Bond nowadays with a guy who is super-misogynistic. It has to reflect the society we’re living in.”
Lea has spoken out about sexual harassment in the film industry and reflected on the differences in cinema in the wake of the #MeToo movement and the downfall of disgraced mogul Harvey Weinstein.
She said: “There was cinema before the #MeToo movement, and after. And it is crazy — I have experienced both. Certain things were accepted that now seem surreal.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Snoop Dogg says that being part of NBC’s coverage of the Paris Olympics will be one of the highlights of his career.
The 52-year-old rapper will give his unique take on the Games this summer as a special correspondent for the network and is thrilled that he will be able to be authentic at the world-famous sporting event.
Snoop told Entertainment Tonight: “I’m going to do me, and what I love about the NBCUniversal team is that they really want for Snoop Dogg to bring what he brings; Stay within the realm of professionalism but to bring Snoop Dogg to the Olympics and I love that. I’m going to do my best to make sure I look the part and play the part.”
The ‘Gin and Juice’ rapper has previously commentated on events such as the boxing match between Jake Paul and Nate Robinson but is looking forward to providing reports on such a global occasion.
Snoop said: “I think what makes the Olympics special is that the whole world is watching that one time and it’s a peace gathering.
“Even though everybody’s competing, it’s all about love, the athletes nationally respect each other. The countries, for one time, are all on the same page. There’s no politics involved.

Snoop also revealed that he hopes to dive in the pool and test himself against legendary swimmer Michael Phelps, a winner of a record 23 gold medals.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh has rejected suggestions that she was “brave” for visiting Ukraine.
The duchess became the first member of the British royal family to visit the war-torn country since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022 when she made a brief trip last month but insists the victims of sexual violence during the conflict are the ones who are truly “courageous”.
In a diary of her visit for The Sunday Times newspaper, Sophie wrote: “The brave people are those who have endured extreme violence and survived. The courageous are those who have reported the crimes committed against them.”
The 59-year-old royal warned that sexual violence during warfare should not be regarded as a “casualty or symptom” of conflict and is instead a “deliberate tactic to overpower”.
Sophie – who met with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska and also delivered a message on behalf of King Charles during her one-day visit – said: “It is only more recently that increased recognition has been given to those heinous crimes, and society has come to understand that it is used to demean, destroy and control, with the aftermath long being felt through stigma and devastating physical and mental health repercussions.
“It is a weapon requiring no training, no investment, and it is deployed globally.”
When she visited Ukraine, the duchess met survivors of sexual violence and displaced women who are helping the country cope with the trauma of the war by providing mental healthcare activities for children and used a speech to condemn the hideous acts.
Sophie said: “It’s true that women and girls pay the highest price in terms of human cost when it comes to the way that they are affected, the way that they can be used as weapons of war.
“Rape is used to demean, to degrade and to destroy, and we have to get better at trying to prevent that from happening.”
She continued: “I’ve been meeting with survivors of sexual violence and the conflict. I thank them for that honesty in telling me what happened to them. Their stories are sad… but I appreciate their time and their openness.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Robert De Niro is a wonderful father, according to his ‘Ezra’ co-star Tony Goldwyn.
The 64-year-old actor appears alongside the Hollywood legend in the new comedy drama film and explained how he got to witness the “incredible” bond between the ‘Cape Fear’ star and his daughter Helen Grace, 12, at close quarters.
Speaking to People, Tony said: “She was around a lot. It was really beautiful to see how Bob is with her. She was, I guess, 10 or 11 when we filmed, so now she’s 12 or 13. But they have the most dear relationship.”
The ‘Ghost’ star is convinced that De Niro’s relationship with his daughter transferred to the big screen in his portrayal of the grandfather of the titular character in ‘Ezra’.
Tony explained: “It was very interesting because he was playing, in our story, a grandfather to the 11-year-old boy Ezra… and so much of (his relationship with Helen), I feel, influenced his relationship with Ezra. It was a very beautiful thing.”
De Niro has seven children with four different women and explained that his favourite memories with his brood are when they are “together”.
He said earlier this year: “Just being together, taking trips to warm places. The fact that they’d all be together is everything to me.”
The Oscar-winning actor also explained how he will always encourage his offspring to pursue their dreams.
De Niro told People in 2020: “For my kids, I tell them, ‘If you want to be an actor or you want to do this or that, that’s fine as long as you’re happy. Just don’t sell yourself short.’

The 56-year-old singer was diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome in 2022 but has been working on her voice as she seeks to sing once more amid her battle with the autoimmune neurological disorder.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Celine is not giving up her desire to sing again. She has been working with voice coaches, band members and specialists for over six months now. She believes she could release a concert film featuring her playing her biggest hits.”
Celine cancelled the remaining dates on her Courage World Tour last year as a result of her health problems – which she documents in the new feature-length documentary ‘I Am: Celine Dion’ – and explained that she “can’t answer” if she will ever be able to get back on stage.

“As things stand, I can’t stand here and say to you: ‘Yes, in four months.’

Celine recently explained how she has different therapies to treat the condition, which impacts the muscles, on a daily basis but says she will never be “cured”.
She told France’s Vogue magazine: “I’m well, but it’s a lot of work. I’m taking it one day at a time.

OHMYGOSSIP — Jesse Eisenberg has applied for Polish citizenship.
The 40-year-old actor has familial ties to the country and revealed that he is now “waiting for the final signature” after making his citizenship application last year.
Speaking to the Polish publication Glos Wielkopolski, Jesse said: “My family is from the southeast, from Krasnystaw, my wife’s [Anna Strout] family is from Lodz. We wanted to have a greater connection to Poland. I would like to work here more.
“Growing up, I’ve heard stories of the Polish relationship with my Jewish family and all the stories were great: we were best friends with the Poles. My family lived in Krasnystaw up until the war, one person survived the war and moved to Szczecin. Unfortunately, she passed away from Covid, so it was quite recent.”
Jesse has worked on the film ‘A Real Pain’ – in which he directs and stars alongside Kieran Culkin as cousins who are tracing their roots – in Poland and hopes to improve the complicated relationship between Jews and Poles.
The ‘Social Network’ star explained: “While I was working here, I met some people who worked in positions related to the government. I said to them: ‘I would love to create better relationships between Jews and Polish people. To me, it’s so unfortunate they are not great. I would love to do that. My family is from here, my wife’s family is from here. Is there any way we could apply for Polish citizenship?'”
Eisenberg states that he is drawn to Poland in a “personal way” as a result of family history in the nation that spans centuries.
He said: “It makes me feel connected to something. In America, everyone is very new, apart from the people who were there first, the Indigenous Americans. Poland made me feel a real connection to something historically bigger than myself.”

The 39-year-old singer has revealed that she and her ‘Stranger Things’ star husband have come to an unorthodox arrangement to cut down on the amount of time they spend scrolling on social media.
Lily told The Sunday Times newspaper: “I now have a kids’ phone called Pinwheel. It has no browsing capability and no social media, but you can still have Uber and Spotify.
“My husband is the caregiver on it, so he controls what I’m allowed to have as an app on my phone. I’m the controller of his as well.”
The ‘Smile’ hitmaker explained that she laments how smartphones have “destroyed” humanity “as a species” and says the devices have had a grievous impact on her creativity.
Allen explained: “The creative side of my brain has been ruined by smartphones. I feel like everyone feels the same. I don’t know anyone who can possibly say that the quality of their life is improved by the presence of a smartphone.
“I think it’s destroyed us as a species. It’s horrendous that they’re designed to be so addictive. Some of us have more addictive personalities than others. It’s evil.”

Footage posted online showed Nicki saying: “I love you… and I’m so sorry.”
Sources say that the 41-year-old artist is desperate to “make it up” to those who had paid for the gig by performing on another date.

Commenting on Kate’s pictures from a trailer on a movie set, one troll remarked on the actress’ weight and it prompted her to write back: “I nursed my [step-dad] to his death early this year. My mum also has stuff going on. I am adjusting to watching two fathers die, one when I was 5, one in January of this year.”
She added that she “experienced a severe flare of mast cell disease … [caused] by stress, shock and grief … That’s what I am prepared to disclose that has contributed to some weight loss.
“What you think of my appearance and how I should look, independently of any circumstances in my life and my family’s is not important.

The 42-year-old pop superstar took to social media late on Sunday (26.05.24) night to explain that she has been battling a cold and she has tried combatting the illness by drinking coffee and taking antibiotic medication.
She wrote on Instagram: “I’ve been sick for two months with a stupid cold … I had it before Mexico and I’m very nasally and congested in my nose, it sucks. It went away when I first got back home, but came back yesterday … I got a Z-Pak and I’m hoping it goes away. OHMYGOSSIP — Johnny Wactor has died at the age of 37 after being shot.
The actor was best known for starring as Brando Corbin in the ABC daytime soap opera ‘General Hospital’ but was killed in downtown Los Angeles early on Saturday morning (25.05.24) , his mother Scarlett has confirmed to TMZ.
She explained to the outlet that Johnny was with a colleague when they saw three men “messing with Johnny’s car” and that the suspects “allegedly tried to steal a catalytic converter”.
Scarlett noted that Johnny “did not try to stop” the alleged suspects in their actions, and that even though paramedics rushed to the scene shortly after the shooting, he was pronounced dead in hospital.
On Sunday evening, Johnny’s agent David Shaul remembered his late client as being “a spectacular human being.”
He told People: “Not just a talented actor who was committed to his craft but a real moral example to everyone who knew him. Standing for hard work, tenacity and a never give up attitude. In the highs and lows of a challenging profession he always kept his chin up and kept striving for the best he could be.
“Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on everyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After over a decade together, he will leave a hole in our hearts forever.”
In the US soap opera, his character was married to Sasha Corbin and actress Sofia Mattsson also paid tribute to her late co-star.
She wrote: “What oh my god Johnny died nooo not fair. Hate this Johnny was just the best… oh my goodness can’t believe Johnny is gone.”
Johnny – who had also starred in ‘Criminal Minds’ and ‘Siberia’ – joined the cast of ‘General Hosptial’ in early 2020 as the ex-con mechanic and stayed with the show until 2022, when his character was stabbed and woke up in the hospital only to suffer a fatal seizure.

The 35-year-old actress – who is married to NBA star Stephen Curry and already has daughters Riley, 11, and Ryan, eight, as well as five-year-old son Canon with him – went into labour slightly early a fortnight ago and welcomed a second son, who has been named Caius Chai.

I’m just in a space mentally where I’m more appreciative, and so it’s just been [an] entirely different experience.”
The ‘Irish Wish’ star also explained that she was “really stubborn” during her first few pregnancies but admitted that her attitude only left her feeling “hurt” and decided to embrace the people around her who just want to help.
She said: “I was really stubborn in my earlier pregnancies. And that hurt me in the end. It made things really hard on me. I had to learn to put my pride aside and realize it was OK to take help, to have people around me help and to not shy away from.”
But Ayesha has also revealed that she was “alarmed” to be called “old” because she is having what is known as a geriatric pregnancy.
She told Sweet July Magazine: “What’s been interesting has been my doctor’s appointments. I’m in my 30s, and so there’s all this paperwork referring to the experience as a ‘geriatric pregnancy’ and all the concerns that come along with that.

The 50-year-old ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star confirmed her dad passed away at the age of 85 in an emotional Instagram post with the actress sharing a number of pictures of Frank from across the years and writing a sweet tribute to him in which she called him a “true gentleman” and vowed to take care of her mum Robyn Ernest now he’s gone.
Tiffani wrote: “My Dad was a lover of many things. Animals, plants, chocolate, jazz, anything citrus, lottery tickets, cars, watches, stray dogs and cats and good Italian pasta.
“But what he loved most was his family. He was a quiet man, but was never quiet about showing his love for us. He was kind, had a sweet sense of humour and was the utmost gentleman. Everybody who knew my Dad LOVED him. He truly had a heart of gold.”
She went on to add: “Daddy, I am heartbroken you are gone. However, I know you are at peace now and that brings me comfort. I promise you I will watch over Mom and take care of her as you did for over 60 years.
“Thank you for being such a dedicated husband and showing me what a true gentleman is. Thank you for being a wonderful Dad and Gramps and being there for us.
“But most of all, thank you for loving me like you always did. No matter what, you had my back and were my biggest fan. I loved making you proud.”
She concluded her message by adding: “I love you, Daddy. We miss you so much.”
Tiffani’s heartbreaking tribute comes just months after she celebrated Frank’s 85th birthday back in February. At the time, the screen star wrote in a post on Instagram: ” Happy 85th Birthday Daddy! Another year around the sun and another candle added to your cake. (lemon of course).

The 38-year-old former glamour model tied the knot with the actor and model, also 38, in 2022, and she has admitted she was surprised by how he completely “changed” her life
She told OK! Magazine: “I never wanted to get married before. But when I met Jeremy, it all changed. We became a family pretty quickly. I could see my life with him. Being married for the past two years has taken over everything. I’ve changed my name and I’ve got my new name Parisi on my passport. It’s so funny – it’s more than a day, it’s your whole life.”
Although the language barrier originally bothered her, she doesn’t care about it anymore.

The 49-year-old retired soccer ace was thrilled to meet his 50-year-old fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham when he was in his twenties.
The couple had their eldest son Brooklyn, 25, in 1999, and married a few months later, before welcoming Romeo, 21, Cruz, 19, and 12-year-old daughter Harper.
And having his kids grow up during his career has been “really important” to David.

Last month, David told Victoria their children are her “biggest success”, in a tribute to mark her 50th birthday.
In the post on Instagram, he wrote: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife … As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved and what you have built, Posh Spice, business woman and of course marrying an England captain.
“But your biggest success are your children, you guide them, love them and teach them … They love you beyond words , we all love you so much. Have a special day you deserve it all. (sic)”
David then went on to joke: “50 and fit. I AM BEING HONEST” (sic)”
