Jane Seymour ‘doesn’t want to mess things up’ by getting married again despite being happy

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Seymour is “happier” than she has been in a long time.
The 73-year-old actress – who was initially married to Michael Attenborough from 1971 until 1973, then to Geoffrey Planer from 1977 until 1978, then to David Flynn from 1982 until 1991 and then to Jeams Keach from 1993 until 2015 – has been in a relationship with medic John Zambetti since October last year but admitted that she “doesn’t want to mess things up” by getting married again.
She told this week’s edition of People magazine: “All I know is that right now, I am very happy. I’m happier than I remember being for as long as I can remember. My family’s happy, everyone’s happy, and I don’t want to mess with happy. So, for right now, where I’m at is really good.”
The ‘Harry Wild’ star – who has Katherine, 42, and Sean, 38, with her third husband and twinks Kristopher and John, 28, with her fourth – explained that earlier on in life, she was looking for “hot romance” and then a potential father for her children but admitted that now she isn’t interested in those things, nor does she particularly want to be with someone who is in show business.
She said: “When you’re younger, you’re looking for hot romance, and then you’re looking for a possible baby father, and then you are possibly divorced, so you’re now looking for another one or one that can tolerate the first two babies. And then you decide, ‘We’ll have more babies.’ I think I’m out of that thing.
“Now, I want partner that isn’t doing exactly the same as me, doesn’t need me for any of that, that is very intelligent, very creative, well-read, compassionate [and] a good human being.”

Ella Henderson has taken a decade to build her confidence up: ‘I wasn’t perfect…’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ella Henderson has taken a decade to build her confidence up.
The 28-year-old singer rose to fame when she competed on the UK version of ‘The X Factor’ in 2012 and subsequently released the hit single ‘Ghost’ as well as a chart-topping album but did not release another record until 2022 and has now reflected that she “wasn’t a perfect-looking” pop star, although she has now finally built up her self-esteem.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I knew I wasn’t the perfect-looking Polly Pocket pop princess star. But I have found my feet at 28.
“It has taken ten years to get where I am with my confidence.”
The ‘Alibi’ hitmaker had written songs for a number of years but previously admitted that in the years leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic, she had lost her confidence in composing and it only came back when the lockdowns were in place and she suddenly felt ready to sit down at the piano.
Speaking on the ‘White Wine Question Time’ podcast, she said: “Slowly I could hear my mum and dad’s feet in the hallway, listening at the door.
“Eventually they came in and they both started crying. And then I started crying because it was a big moment.
“We were just sat there like, you’ve gone from wanting to quit, we’ve gone through all this and we’ve gone through this whole journey as well as a family in the background.”
Ella also admitted that prior to that moment, she had been ready to quit the industry.
She added: “I was going to quit music, just before lockdown. I was at the mindset of if every day I wake up [and] feel this heaviness… music for a while didn’t feel like it always did.”

Drake Bell reveals if he would ever put his son in showbiz after opening up about childhood abuse

OHMYGOSSIP — Drake Bell finds it “difficult” to think about his son becoming an actor.
The 37-year-old actor was a teen star on Nickelodeon in the early 2000s and recently opened up about how he had been a victim of dialect coach Brian Peck during his time on ‘The Amanda Show’ when he appeared in the docuseries ‘Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV’.
Now, the former ‘Drake and Josh’ star – who has two-year-old son Wyatt with his ex-wife Janet Von Schmeling – admitted that he would struggle with the idea of doing so because of his own trauma but is also aware that performing has been a natural passion of his for as long as he can remember.
He told Access Hollywood: “That’s a that’s a difficult question. Because knowing what I know about the industry and having the experience that I’ve had, it’s difficult because it’s all I’ve known. And it’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. I wanted to be an entertainer from as long as as far back as I can remember, I would watch Lucille Ball, the Marx Brothers and Costello, Elvis, The Beatles, and that’s what I wanted to do.
“And so it’s difficult to say, ‘Ah, well, there are some dangers in this’ because it’s what I experienced is, is not singular to Hollywood. It’s in school, it’s sports, it’s, you know, so you really just have to be careful and be on guard and be very protective, overly protective.”
In 2004, Peck pleaded no contest to a charge of oral copulation with a minor under 16 as well as a charge of performing a lewd act with a 14 or 15-year-old. Bell was the plaintiff but his identity as the victim was not made public at the time.
Peck spent 16 months in prison and was mandated to register as a sex offender.
On the flip side, Drake admitted he would never want to take his son’s “passion” away from him whatever that may turn out to be.
He said: “But I would hate if my son came up to me and said ‘This is what I want to do. I have a passion for it.’ And [to] take that away from him. That’s…it’s hard. You know, a lot of people say, ‘Absolutely. I would never let my children do this.’ Well, it’s like telling your child’ No, you can’t be a baseball player. You can’t do it. Don’t even think about it. Because I’m not putting you in baseball.’ What if they have a passion for baseball? Yeah, so that’s, that’s a difficult one.

Nicki Minaj released from custody after being arrested on suspicion of carrying drugs

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj has been released from custody after being arrested at a Dutch airport on suspicion of carrying drugs.
The 41-year-old rapper was arrested on Saturday (25.05.24) at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on suspicion of possession of soft drugs but was released around 9pm UK time, and Dutch police told Sky News that she will have to pay a fine for her actions.
The ‘Barbie World’ hitmaker had been due to land in Manchester for the opening UK show of her ‘Friday Night 2’ world tour but after delaying the time that the doors were due to open, the Co-Op Live Arena announced that the whole gig had been postponed.
The full statement read: “Nicki Minaj’s scheduled performance at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Saturday 25th May has been postponed. Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled performance which will be announced ASAP.
“Despite Nicki’s best efforts to explore every possible avenue to make tonight’s show happen, the events of today have made it impossible. We are deeply disappointed by the inconvenience this has caused. More information will be available at your point of purchase.
Nicki first alerted fans to what had happened with a video on Instagram, in which she had a conversation with an airport official, who claimed they needed to “offload all the luggage” and carry out a search.
The official tells her: “The police officer told me we have to offload all the luggage. Okay, and to search everything, your luggage. I’m so sorry to say that.”
Nicki replied: “But isn’t that what you planned on doing from the get go? Why didn’t you guys search it before it went on the plan?”
The official tried to explain to the ‘Anaconda’ singer that the check was initially random but their suspicion grew after she started filming as she vehemently denied she was carrying anything like drugs.
Nicki argued: “They asked me ‘Do I have any more in those purses?’ And I said no. And I asked him Where are my bags? They took my bags and put it on the plane before I could know what bags I wanted to place. Yeah. So…”
The ‘Super Bass’ hitmaker then alleged in the caption of her Instagram post that officials have tried to “stop” her from getting to every stop on her tour and claimed that people had been paid a lot of money to try to “sabotage” her run of shows.
She wrote: “They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show. They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now saying they’re waiting on customs. This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal!”

I don’t do weight-loss shortcuts, says Heidi Montag

OHMYGOSSIP — Heidi Montag refused to take “shortcuts” in her weight-loss journey.
The 37-year-old star has managed to drop 22lbs through a combination of hard work and healthy eating – rather than using Ozempic, the controversial weight-loss drug that’s also used to treat diabetes.
Heidi told DailyMail.com: “I think in this society everyone is looking for a shortcut and a lot of people are taking a shortcut.
“If anybody looks at my life and my journey, it’s about hard work and it’s not about short-term effects – it’s about long-term, healthy effects.”
Heidi maintains an “all encompassing lifestyle” that includes a regimented workout routine and a strict diet.
The TV star insisted that her weight-loss achievement is a reflection of her hard work and dedication.
Heidi shared: “People can say whatever they want. They always have about me, they always will.
“But if they know and see what I’m doing on a daily basis, they see it as a lifestyle of working out, eating healthy, and incorporating Hydroxycut.”
Earlier this year, Heidi admitted that her beauty standards have evolved over time.
The reality star explained that her idea of the perfect body has changed markedly over the years.
She told Us Weekly: “I used to want skinny legs and the gap in between the thighs – I thought that was such a staple of being fit. Now my opinion of what’s sexy and what’s healthy is so different.”
Heidi also revealed that she now feels better than she has in years.
Heidi – who has been married to Spencer Pratt since 2008 – shared: “I love how strong and toned my arms are. It’s been really fun to flex for my husband. I’m like, ‘Yeah, look at these!’ This is the best I’ve ever felt.”

Nicki Minaj spent hours in jail following arrest

OHMYGOSSIP — Nicki Minaj spent between five and six hours in a jail cell after being arrested in the Netherlands.
The 41-year-old rap star was forced to cancel a gig at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester on Saturday (25.05.24), after she was held at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on suspicion of possession of soft drugs, and Nicki subsequently took to social media to voice her anger over the incident.
The award-winning star wrote on X: “Thank you to everyone who prayed for me today. May God cover you and all that is connected to you. May you be blessed beyond your imagination.
“Barbz, I’m @ the stock exchange hotel in #Manchester I arrived a little over an hour ago.
“After sitting in a jail cell for 5-6 hours, my plane still didn’t take off for another 20 mins once I boarded.
“The flight was 50 mins. 50 mins.
“That’s why they had to do the big song and dance b/c they knew I’d still find a way to perform even if it came down to my last 90 mins in the building which would have been until 1130pm. The building was willing to go past 11pm. So grateful to them for that.
“So they succeeded at their plan to not let me get on that stage tonight. I succeeded @ getting to the root of it all by recording them and posting everything in real time. I have sooooooooo much video evidence. You wouldn’t believe it if I told you.
“I’ll have the lawyers and GOD take it from here tho. (sic)”
Nicki – who captured some of the incident on video – offered an apology to her fans.
The rap star also suggested that she’s been deliberately targeted by the police.
She said: “Please please please accept my deepest and most sincere apologies.
“They sure did know exactly how to hurt me today but this too, shall pass.
“They’ve been doing this over and over and over and over and over again and I’ve tried so hard to not discuss it b/c you guys deserve to just get the good stuff. I hate involving you in anything that isn’t for entertainment purposes only. (sic)”

Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine, the blonde beauty explained: “Contrary to popular opinion, I don’t think I have a type.

Sabrina confessed that she’s actually “attracted to a lot of things”, including people who are “in touch with their emotions”.
Sabrina – who previously dated actor Joshua Bassett – said: “I’m super attracted to a lot of things that I look for in friends, because I want to be with someone who’s going to be one of my best friends. So a lot of it is energy and humour and being genuine.
“I will always say I’ve connected more with people who are in touch with their emotions.
“I mean, none of those relationships have worked out so far. Sometimes I think I’d be better off with a mime.”
Meanwhile, Sabrina has also admitted that she’s recently been more choosy about who she lets into her life.
The ‘Espresso’ hitmaker said: “You’re better able to know the people that you want to invite into your life, whereas before you are just nice to everybody and want to be everyone’s friend. I think that’s what’s happened to me in the last year and a half.
“Instead of being like, ‘Do people like me?’ it’s ‘Oh, do I actually like you?’ Not in a mean way, but in a sense of, do I want this energy around me all the time? Is this someone who adds to my life?”

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez wishes she “asked for help” with her mental health at a younger age.
The 31-year-old star has been open and honest about her mental health struggles in recent years, and Selena now regrets not seeking professional help even sooner.

“Studies suggest that hearing a comforting voice can actually boost our mood in ways that texting can’t, so pick up the phone and call someone you love. Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. Or, call anyone who’s sound of their voice would bring you comfort.”
Earlier this year, Selena claimed that she’s on a “mission” with her Rare Beauty brand.
The actress founded the cosmetics company back in 2020, and she feels proud of her brand for helping to raise mental health awareness.

Carrie Fisher worried that Star Wars would be a ‘disaster’

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Fisher feared that ‘Star Wars’ would be a “disaster”.
The late actress is best known for her role as Princess Leia in the sci-fi franchise but a new memoir from her best friend Griffin Dunne has revealed that she had serious concerns about the part at first.
Dunne wrote in ‘The Friday Afternoon Club: A Family Memoir’, an extract of which has been published by The Sunday Times newspaper: “It was 1976 and one day Carrie said offhandedly that she had landed a job in some science-fiction movie shooting in England.
“‘Is there a part in it for me?’ I asked, oblivious to what a normal person would say, like ‘Congrats’ or ‘That’s great!”
In reference to co-star Mark Hamill, Carrie responded: “The only one you would have been right for is being played by Mark somebody.
“It’s a really stupid script and you would have turned it down, I promise.”
Dunne explained how Carrie – who passed away aged 60 in 2016 after suffering a cardiac arrest while flying from London to Los Angeles – became increasingly anxious during filming for ‘Star Wars’ and she hated the way Leia’s hair was styled in the picture.
He wrote: “‘You should see what they did to my hair!’ She had screamed into the phone on location, usually mornings before going on set for her, four in the morning for me. ‘I look like I’m wearing two bagels over my ears.’
“And I’m acting with an eight-foot yeti and a four-foot Brit in a rolling trash can! We shoot at s*** we can’t see on screens with ray guns that don’t even have a trigger. This movie is going to be a f****** disaster.”

Hannah Waddingham was labelled as a ‘lanky freak’ by casting director

OHMYGOSSIP — Hannah Waddingham was once called a “lanky freak” by a casting director.
The 49-year-old actress’ star has ascended as a result of her role in the hit TV series ‘Ted Lasso’ but she explained that she keeps a “little list” of those who were cruel to her on the way up to make sure she never works with them.
Speaking on The Sunday Sitdown With Willie Geist, she remembered one drama teacher saying: “Oh, Hannah will never work on screen because she looks like one side of her face has had a stroke.”
Hannah added: “Yes, there is a little list of people who wouldn’t give me the time of day but now want to work together. And I am happy to say to them, ‘Please look somewhere else, I’m human, I remember, bog off.'”
The star quipped that she has been “31-year overnight success” and is astounded by the fact that she has had the chance to work on movies with stars including Tom Cruise and Ryan Gosling.
Hannah said: “I’m a 31-year overnight success – that’s a comedy in itself.
“What has happened to me is ridiculous. It is lovely, but incredible. I am a firm believer in manifestation and I feel like I have been chucking things out there and someone has really been listening.”
She continued: “I finished ‘The Fall Guy’, got back to London, unpacked my cases, repacked a smaller case, flew to meet Tom Cruise. He met me on the tarmac and said: ‘Let me take your bag (off) you.’ It was mental. We flew in an Osprey (helicopter) over the sea and landed on a ship with 4,500 people waiting for us.
“There have been so many pinch-me moments. All my dreams come true. But I know that I worked hard for this. For a long time, I had no life, so I don’t take any of this lightly.”

Animal experts warn against buying Scottish Fold cats like Taylor Swift’s

OHMYGOSSIP — Experts have advised Taylor Swift fans not to buy the breed of cat she owns.
The pop mega star’s Scottish Folds Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey frequently appear in Taylor’s social media posts but animal welfare groups say the traits that make the felines adorable can also afflict them with constant pain.
The cats are bred by a genetic mutation that makes the ears fold flat and gives an “owl-like” appearance but the gene causes a condition called osteochondrodysplasia – leading to abnormal bone growth and severe pain.
Despite the concerns, the UK charity Cats Protection revealed that one per cent of the 10.6 million moggies in Britain are Scottish Folds.
Sarah Ellison, the charity’s central veterinary officer, said: “We are not saying that Taylor herself is at fault for owning them, the breeders are not really giving them the information they need.
“This is something owners find out later, and often it’s quite devastating to find out your cat has a condition that can’t be cured, and that they’re going to be in pain for life.”
Meanwhile, it was reported earlier this year that Olivia Benson was over twice as rich as Taylor’s NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce – who has a net worth of $40 million.
A Forbes-style list of the world’s wealthiest pets compiled by the website AllAboutCats.com claims the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker’s feline, who the singer adopted in 2014, has around double his fortune – and is one of the world’s richest felines, with an estimated net worth of $97 million.
The outlet says the cat “earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos”.
Named after Mariska Hargitay’s ‘Law and Order: SVU’ character, the cat is also said to have “crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers”.

Andie MacDowell was fearful of attending Cannes Film Festival after becoming a mother

OHMYGOSSIP — Andie MacDowell was “afraid” to attend the Cannes Film Festival after having a baby.
The 66-year-old star has been a fixture at the famous event on the French Riviera for several years but confessed that she chose not to go back in 1989 following the birth of her son Justin Qualley, 38, as she was worried about how her appearance would be perceived.
Andie told People: “I didn’t come (to Cannes) for (promotion of the film) ‘Sex, Lies and Videotape’. I just had a baby. I was afraid.
“I was, nursing, was really big and just motherly and whatever, and I didn’t come. And that’s a shame. It’s a real shame.”
The ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ actress believes it was seen as acceptable to be “cruel to women” in the spotlight at the time but lauded the “shift in our expectations” that means she would have no hesitation if she was in a similar position today.
Andie – who also has actress daughters Rainey Qualley, 35, and Margaret Qualley, 29, from her marriage to former husband Paul Qualley – said: “Because of the shift in our expectations and because we brought it out, they can’t be like that anymore.
“Now I embrace my womanly body. I think it’s very sexy. But I think we couldn’t feel sexy about ourselves because they were telling us that we weren’t.
“We’ve claimed it, and we’ve taken it back and we’ve said, ‘But this is what it is to be a woman. We’re not girls, we’re women.'”
MacDowell has embraced getting older by keeping her hair grey and explained that she was “afraid” to commit to the style choice until the coronavirus pandemic hit in 2020.
She said: “I finally got the courage during COVID when I saw it with my own eyes and my skin colour. Once it was growing out, I could see what the colour was going to be like, and I really loved it. I knew it was time.”
