Kim Kardashian reveals her ‘least favourite’ law school subject

OHMYGOSSIP — Kim Kardashian has revealed her “least favourite subject” as she continues studying to become a lawyer.
The 43-year-old SKIMS founder has been learning all about hearsay expectations, when an out-of-court statement is being offered in court for the truth of what was asserted, which, in most instances is inadmissible, unless an exception to the hearsay rule applies.
Sharing her study papers, she wrote on her Instagram Story: “I can’t deal w all these f****** hearsay exceptions!
“My least favorite subject in law school. (sic)”
The reality star – who passed her baby bar exam after four attempts – was recently pitched her own legal divorce drama by Ryan Murphy.
Kim made her acting debut as publicist Siobhan Corbyn in ‘American Horror Story: Delicate’, and the spooky anthology show’s creator was delighted with the praise for her performance.
On an episode of ‘The Kardashians’, Ryan told her: “You were really, really good to the point where they called me and were like, ‘Do you think Kim would want to do her own show?’ ”
In a confessional after the chat, Kim joked she wasn’t sure what she “got herself into”, and wondered if she could “really pull this off”.
Ryan – who also created the likes of ‘Glee’, ‘Nip/Tuck’, ‘Ratched’ – then revealed his pitch for Kim’s potential series.
He suggested: “Kim is the world’s best, most expensive divorce lawyer, and she has her own firm, and the thing about her firm is it’s an all-female firm.”
The businesswoman joked she “has some experience” in the field.
Ryan continued: “Kim is the world’s best, most expensive divorce lawyer, and she has her own firm, and the thing about her firm is it’s an all-female firm.”
Kim – who was previously married to Kanye West, Kris Humphries and Damon Thomas – admitted she has had some “funny” moments with her divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who helped with two of her three divorces.
She said: “I’m just like, ‘Don’t ever let me do this again!’ And the next one she’d be like, ‘Hi, you reminded me last time, don’t ever let you do this again.’ ”
Ryan joked that they might need to “build a sound stage outside” Kim’s home, with the mother-of-four – who has kids North, 10 Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and five-year-old Psalm with Kanye – also balancing law school, her reality show and various businesses.
However, she suggested she’ll have more time after taking the bar exam in 2025.
Pondering a catchphrase for the show, Ryan quipped: “‘Not only am I a lawyer, but I play one on TV.'”

Brittany Cartwright: I feel much stronger since splitting from Jax Taylor

OHMYGOSSIP — Brittany Cartwright feels “much stronger” since she split from Jax Taylor.
The 35-year-old TV star and Jax, 44, announced their break-up earlier this year, and Brittany feels she’s finally discovered her own “worth”.
Speaking in a confessional on ‘The Valley’, she shared: “I just feel like I have woken up. Like, I feel so much stronger now.
“I know I’ll be OK, but I know my worth and I know I do not deserve to be in a relationship like this. What was I thinking staying with him this long?”
Jax, on the other hand, admitted to being caught off-guard by their break-up.
The reality star said during a confessional: “I didn’t see this coming, sorry. I never thought I would be in the position I’m in right now.”
Despite this, Jax insisted that he had “no regrets” about their romance.
The TV star – who married Brittany in 2019 – said: “It’s been an amazing nine years. It really, really has.
“I have no regrets. I love Brittany, I do. I love my wife. The only thing that’s going to make or break this is time.”
Brittany and Jax announced their split earlier this year – but she subsequently admitted that a reconciliation remained possible.
Brittany told Us Weekly: “There’s definitely a chance. But I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation.
“Now the veil has been lifted and I see how much I was always cleaning up Jax’s messes. I’m thrown in the middle of all these fights and constantly forced to apologise for him in the media and to friends. It’s hard.”
Brittany feels she doesn’t need Jax in order to thrive.
She shared: “I feel really strong.
“At the beginning, I was freaking out. I came to Los Angeles for Jax and we moved in together immediately, so I’ve never been here by myself. But now I have my own friends and my own money.”

Glee star Chris Colfer was warned coming out would ‘ruin’ his acting career

OHMYGOSSIP — ‘Glee’ star Chris Colfer was warned not to come out as gay – because it would “ruin” his “career”.
The 34-year-old actor portrayed the openly gay character Kurt Hummel on the hit Fox musical comedy-drama from 2009 to 2015, but he was informed he wouldn’t get far if he declared his own sexuality.
Appearing on ‘This View’ amid Pride Month, he recalled: “I grew up in a very conservative town where being openly gay was dangerous.
“I remember when I got on the show, the role was written for me, but I did not know what the role was going to be.
“So, I opened the script and when I read the script for the first time is when I saw that it was an openly gay character.
“When I started filming the show, I had a lot of people tell me, ‘Do not come out, whatever you do, because it will ruin your career.'”
The author claims he was even told he would benefit from not addressing his sexual preference.
He said: “I can’t hide it.
“They said, ‘Don’t worry as long as you never address it, you’ll be rewarded for it in the end.'”
It was after a fan handed him a note during a ‘Glee’ autograph signing event that he decided it was time.
He added: “I opened it up and there was a little note that said, ‘Thank you’ and there was a little paperclip chain that was in the colours of the rainbow. In that moment I knew, I have to come out.
“At the time, I was thinking if I’m an openly gay actor I may never win a major award and I may never get to play a superhero, but I think being a beacon of positivity and providing comfort for people is way more important.”

Shannen Doherty blasts ex for disrespecting her with ‘many affairs’

OHMYGOSSIP — Shannen Doherty couldn’t “wrap her head around” her ex having “many, many affairs”.
The 53-year-old actress – who didn’t name the ex in question but has previously accused her ex-husband Kurt Iswarienjo of being “intimately involved” with his agent before their divorce in April 2023 – explained that while she understands a relationship might not work, she has never understood a lack of “respect” between partners.
Speaking on the ‘Let’s Be Clear With Shannen Doherty’ podcast, she said: “What I don’t understand and what I can never wrap my head around is why someone thinks that they don’t owe you as a human being respect…
“I know that for me personally, it’s been very hard to find that somebody I was in a relationship with wasn’t just one affair.
“It was like many, many affairs. So for me, that’s like, wow.”
The ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ star has found herself wondering if the former flame in question didn’t respect her “from day one”.
She added: “f you didn’t respect me from day one, why would you marry me?
“Why would you commit to a relationship if you couldn’t even be loyal from almost, I think, what a year and a half after we were married or something?”
Meanwhile, the alleged infidelity meant Shannen “lost all respect” for her ex.
She said: “You no longer have respect for the other person. I lost all respect.
“I lost any ounce of love I had left in me for this person and… despise seems like a harsh word, but I mean it in the sense of when you have that little respect for someone that I then eventually developed, you kind of do despise them.”
The ‘Charmed’ actress also pondered the idea that “being in bad relationships, dealing with a narcissist and being gaslighted” can sometimes be needed to help someone “grow and learn a lesson”.
She added: “I know that currently, I’m in a very different place than I was over a year ago. I’ve such a fight on my hands with cancer that I don’t have the time for fights with everybody else.
“I just don’t. And certainly not in my personal life. And I don’t have time for somebody who cheats.”

Sofia Vergara ‘kept awake’ at night by fears over first intimate scenes

OHMYGOSSIP — Sofía Vergara was “kept awake” at night by her concerns over filming her first sex scenes.
The 51-year-old actress has opened up on the intimate scenes in her crime drama mini-series ‘Griselda’, and admitted she felt incredibly self-conscious about her body.
Speaking at a recent Netflix NYSEE event, she said: “I don’t think I’ve ever done, like, a sex scene… I’m 50! I mean, when I was 30, I wouldn’t have worried.
“I think I was worried that I was going to look horrific. I was like, ‘Where are they shooting me? The cellulite? From the side.’
“Uh, I’m vain, I guess. That one kept me awake I think.”
Sofia – who stars in the show as Griselda Blanco, the creator of one of history’s most profitable drug cartels – admitted that despite her fears, the scenes “came out good” in the end.
She explained: “It’s really dark and Andy [Baiz], the director, is very artistic and he made me feel super comfortable and he’s like, ‘We’re never going to stay like a long time on you [the camera].’ ”
Away from the camera, Sofia has confessed that aging keeps her awake at night, and she will do what she can to “fight it” where possible.
She told People magazine: “I’m going to fight it every step of the way. I know I don’t look the same.
“But I don’t think I am going to ever be the woman that has the courage to be, like, all-white hair.”
Meanwhile, she won’t rule out enhancements to her physical appearance, and even plastic surgery remains on the table to combat the effects of getting older.
In an interview with Allure magazine, she said: “I feel like you have to take advantage of everything that is out there. I mean, if you care about ageing.
“I feel like I’m going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I’m ready.”

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO are ‘excited and scared’ about their IVF journey

OHMYGOSSIP — Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie XO are having IVF to start a family together.
The 39-year-old country star – who already has Bailee Ann, 16, and Noah Buddy, seven, from previous relationships – started taking his health seriously and started shedding the pounds when he realised he would need to be around for his future child.
Appearing on the ‘Bussin’ With the Boys’ podcast, Jelly – whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord – said: “I think it was realising that I just want to feel good … My wife and I are talking about having a baby. And it really made me realise, at almost 40, I was like, ‘That means I gotta live till at least 60. I gotta see this kid into college.’
“I thought that every problem I ever had in life would be solved if I ever found any kind of success and stability.
“And then I started to get success and stability and still none of those problems are solved. My plan was never to be 60. It was to be, like, 55. But now I’m like, ‘Well, I’d like to see my 60s.’ You know what I mean? And that really lit it up.”
His 44-year-old podcaster spouse – whom he wed in 2016 – shared the clip of the interview on her Instagram account and explained their choice to go down the IVF route and how “excited and scared” they are.

“J and I are so excited and scared all at the same time.”
The couple – who fell for each other after meeting at one of the ‘Save Me’ star’s concerts in 2015 – never envisaged themselves having children.
She added: “We genuinely never thought we’d want to add to our family but something changed this year and we both just want a piece of us together to add to our already perfect family with Bailee and Noah. (sic)”

Victoria Beckham has a ‘whole bucket’ of her children’s baby teeth

OHMYGOSSIP — Victoria Beckham is still holding onto eldest son Brooklyn’s baby teeth.
The 50-year-old fashion designer has been trying to get her 25-year-old son, whom she has with retired soccer ace spouse David Beckham, 49, to take them off her hands – but he’s not interested.
Taking to her Instagram Story to share a picture of the three teeth seemingly placed on a kitchen worktop, she asked: “Not that I’m sentimental but… U think I can throw your baby teeth away @brooklynpeltzbeckham?? (sic)”
The former Spice Girl had previously asked her son: “Found this old baby tooth. Do you want it back Brooklyn?”
And he replied: “No thank you haha.”
Posh Spice – who also has daughter Harper, 12, and sons Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 19, with the sports star – has a “whole bucket” of her offspring’s teeth and has in the past asked for advice on what she should do with them.
She previously shared: “Okay, so Harper Seven’s tooth fell out last night. She left her tooth by her bed and, look, the tooth fairy came.
“[She] left her a little note. Well, she left her a few little notes, to tell Harper she’s funny, sensitive, smart, generous, kind, a great daughter, she’s loving, a great sister, and I’ve got another tooth to add to my collection.
So, I have a question. What do all the mummies and daddies do with all the collected teeth?
“I’ve got an entire bucket with all the collected teeth!”
Meanwhile, Victoria recently admitted her body insecurities stopped her from sitting on the beach watching her children play.
The mother-of-four opened up about her difficulty feeling free in herself while they were growing up in a chat in which she also detailed her “disciplined” diet.
She told Grazia magazine: “I’ve had so much said about me and I’m sure that has robbed me of some experiences.
“I never want to look like I’m complaining, but there were times in the past that I haven’t felt confident enough to sit on a beach and watch my children play.
“I remember after I had Brooklyn, my first outing was on the front page of the newspaper, with arrows pointing to where I needed to lose weight.
“Those things can affect how you feel and conduct yourself in public. Now, if paparazzi want to take a picture and say something – too bad, it doesn’t bother me in the same way.”
Victoria now feels more stable, insisting negative comments about her appearance “don’t bother her now”.
She said: “This is how I look. I’m going to make the best of it, work hard at it. “I’m very disciplined with the way that I eat, the way that I work out and the way I work. That’s just who I am.
“But I do like to have a drink and I’m not going to be one these, ‘Ah, there are too many calories in a glass of wine’ types. Whatever.
“Life’s too short. Let’s have a nice time.”
David famously revealed Victoria has eaten the same dish of grilled fish and steamed vegetables for 25 years, saying she will “rarely deviate” from the meal.

CNN asked Kevin Costner to ‘cut down’ Whitney Houston eulogy for TV broadcast

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner has revealed CNN tried to get him to cut down his eulogy at Whitney Houston’s funeral.
The 69-year-old actor was one of eight people who spoke at his late ‘Bodyguard’ co-star’s funeral after she was died aged 48 in February 2012, and he wasn’t going to budge when the broadcaster tried to get involved and shorten his speech.
Speaking to Dax Shepard on the ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, he said: “I had been working on this speech… and I tried to compile everything I wanted to do and finally crafted this speech.
“Somebody said, ‘CNN’s here, they wouldn’t mind if your remarks were kept shorter because they’re going to have commercials.’
“I said, ‘They can get over that. They can play the commercial while I’m talking, I don’t care.’ ”
It’s unclear if the network – or any others – did cut any of his speech due to commercials, or if it was broadcast in full.
However, the ‘Yellowstone’ actor still remembers feeling uncomfortable in case he overran and upset other speakers or attendees.
He explained: “There were some people that really wanted to speak, and they’re kind of staring daggers at me. What was I going to say? I started, and about 17 minutes later I was done.”
Other speakers at the funeral included Houston’s friend and mentor Clive Davis, music director Rickey Minor, security guard Ray Watson, and her cousin Dionne Warwick.
She actually encouraged him to give the eulogy, but he was still worried.
He said: “I could feel the weight on her, now it’s shifted to me. What am I going to say about this little girl?
“[I] went back to that church in Newark and it was filled. It was electric. There were two bands playing, the church was alive. It was like, boom!”
Kevin previously reflected on the film’s success, and how Houston’s rendition of ‘I Will Always Love You’ resonated with fans.
He told Entertainment Weekly in 2022: “She sang the first part of it a cappella and musically the world was never the same.
“We have a moment of her in that movie we’ll never ever forget that and I think that when movies are working at their best, that’s what can happen.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Will Smith rushed to check out of a hotel after an encounter with a ghost.
The 55-year-old actor has reflected on his paranormal experience during a game of ‘True Confessions’ with ‘Bad Boys: Ride or Die’ co-star Martin Lawrence on an episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.
Reading out his card, Will said: “I once had to emergency check out of a hotel because of a ghost.”
As part of the game, each of the trio read out a supposedly true fact as the others tried to figure out if they were telling the truth.
The ‘King Richard’ actor added: “This was probably 27 years ago.”
Jimmy asked for more details about why Will felt the need to check out of the room so abruptly.
He continued: “The ghost urinated in my friend’s toilet. And cleared all of his messages from his phone… It was the Lanesborough Hotel in London.”
The late night chat show host jokingly asked if it was “a British ghost”, but Will said they “didn’t hear it talk”.
He recalled: “We assumed it was British. But it was scary enough for us to check out of the hotel.”
Jimmy then wondered if the Hollywood star actually believes in ghosts, and he played things coy with his answer.
He said: “I believe that there are things that you don’t understand, Jimmy.”
The host and Will’s co-star Martin deliberated on whether or not he was telling the true, and his friend belived him.
He explained: “Will, his life has been an adventure. I gotta go with my ride or die — I say true.”
Will revealed his story was “100 percent true”, which actually surprised Jimmy and Martin.
Elsewhere in the game, Martin revealed he was actually approached to star in ‘Rush Hour’ with Jackie Chan, but rejected the role which eventually went to Chris Tucker.
After confirming it was true, he added: “I was happy for Chris.
“That was what it was supposed to be — Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. And they brought [out] a beautiful franchise with ‘Rush Hour.’ ”

Jamie-Lynn Sigler nearly died after bad reaction to srugery that left her with sepsis

OHMYGOSSIP — Jamie-Lynn Sigler nearly died around a year ago.
The 43-year-old actress – who has multiple sclerosis (MS) – had a nasty reaction to surgery and a near-death experience after she battled sepsis upon returning home from a spiritual retreat in India.
Appearing on her ‘MeSsy’ podcast, she recalled: “A little less than a year ago now is when I went to India, and I lived in this ashram and I felt so awakened and connected and peaceful.
“And when I came home, two weeks later, I had a very bad reaction to a surgery and got sepsis and was in the hospital and almost died. I never told anybody this.”
The ‘Sopranos’ star never felt “more low” and recalled how she would “scream in pillows”, weep to her friends and reached out and spoke to a therapist.
She shared: “I had never in my life been more sad, felt more low. But what I learned from India was I had an inability to escape it.
“I had to sit in it. I would scream in pillows; I would cry to girlfriends. I reached out, I sat by myself, I got a therapist. I did all of these things I had never really done before and went through this process that was absolutely necessary.”
In 2020, Jamie-Lynn shared how she has embraced the “positive” side of having MS.
The screen star was diagnosed with the condition – which affects the central nervous system, disrupting the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and body – more than two decades ago, and as time has passed, she’s learned to appreciate that her medical issues have made her the person she is today.
Speaking on ‘People Now’, she said: “I have my bad days, as we all do.
“For me it was about fighting it and keeping it a secret and covering it up, then when I became public it was accepting people knew and now it’s shifted into this thing where…
“I think people don’t realise with chronic illness, it’s so much physical stuff but emotionally it can affect you even more.
“I’m realising all the things it has brought me, the positive things it had brought to me, who it has made me today I know I wouldn’t be without it.
“Do I still wish I didn’t have MS? Sure. But it’s my thing in this lifetime and I’m dealing with it as best I can.”

Kelly Osbourne hopes past substance abuse will protect her from cancer

OHMYGOSSIP — Kelly Osbourne hopes years of “drugs and alcohol” will protect her against cancer.
The 39-year-old star discussed her family’s history with the disease – including her mother Sharon Osbourne’s battle with the illness in the early 2000s – and joked being left “pickled” would be one benefit from her past struggles with addiction.
Speaking on ‘The Osbournes’ podcast, she said: “I’m hoping that I’ve embalmed myself so I don’t ever get cancer.
“I’m pickled from all the drugs and alcohol, for sure.”
However, her brother Jack, 38, quipped: “I don’t think it works that way. But I’m no doctor.”
And their guest, an ER doctor called Dr. Greg, joked: “I, for one, have never heard of substances you put into your body causing ill effects of any kind.”
Kelly has been candid about her past issues with substance abuse, which started with an opioid prescription when she was just 13 years old.
Appearing on ‘Red Table Talk’ in 2021, she said: “I kept getting sick and I had a really bad case of tonsillitis, they ended up having to give me some crazy surgery, and then after that, they gave me Vicodin.
“And that was all I needed… I went from having every voice in my head being like, ‘You’re fat, you’re ugly, you’re not good enough, no one likes you, you don’t deserve this, people only like you because of who your parents are.’
“And then all of a sudden, every single voice was silenced and it felt like life gave me a hug.”
She hew a newfound sense of self confidence, but her drug habit escalated.
She added: “I was like, ‘Why am I so confident in all of this?’
“And then very quickly I went from Vicodin to Percocet, from Percocet to heroin eventually, because it was cheaper.”
In 2021, she opened up about suffering a brief relapse, admitting she thought after a period of being clean she could “drink like a normal person”.
She told Extra: “I am an addict and had thought that I had enough time under my belt and I could drink like a normal person, and it turns out I cannot and I will never be normal.
“I don’t know why I even tried it. It’s not for me and it took me a matter of days and I was like done, not doing this.”

Jessie J is ‘getting her sparkle back’ after becoming a mother

OHMYGOSSIP — Jessie J is finally getting her “sparkle back” after becoming a mother.
The 36-year-old singer – who suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2021 – and her partner Chanan Safir Colman welcomed their son into the world a 13 months ago, and she has reflected on her journey of discovery finding her “new self” as a parent.
She wrote on Instagram: “The road to feeling like your new self after a baby is a slow one (in my opinion) and I’m still on it for sure…
“BUT the way this little boy looks at me and loves me. Phew. He is bringing my sparkle back. Just look at the last picture.”
The ‘Price Tag’ hitmaker recently admitted she felt a “huge sense of guilt” about being a mother, particularly knowing that her own experiences aren’t the same as those others who might be “struggling”.
Speaking at a Dove’s Real Beauty event in London, she explained: “I always say this, pregnancy, birth, I never thought it would come to me, I was a big advocate and still am for infertility and child loss.
“For years and years and years, that’s what I spoke about and now I’m on the other side I feel a huge sense of guilt in some way because I know so many women and men are struggling.
“So when you do have a baby, you have to understand it’s the most relatable and conversational thing you can talk about with someone but also the most unique experience and you have to understand that it’s your experience and it’s not the same as someone else’s.
“You’re allowed to be sad, you’re allowed to be OK, you’re allowed to want to go back to work two weeks, six months, two years later, whatever it is that works for you, it really is such a personal experience.”
She also urged new parents to be kind to themselves, especially in the face of “savage” criticism from people with children of their own.
She added: “Honestly, I’ve never experienced such savage people as mums. They’re the most judgemental, they can be so savage.
“You just have to give yourself grace, like you’ve just grown a whole human inside your body and birthed it outside of your body…
“I think that would be my advice, just to give yourself grace, be patient, and understand you gave birth to a whole other person. You can only do it your way.”

“I’ve done The Voice there obviously for a few years and so, I’ve been there like a big, big, chunk out of my year. I haven’t done it now – I mean, I didn’t do it last year now but yeah, it’s like a home away from home for me. I had really liked Australia and then obviously that’s where I met my husband.”

In an interview on Australian TV show ‘Sunshine’, she said: “Me being 27 soon, I thought about this when I was in my early 20s, about kids. Maybe that is me being a hypochondriac, but I have always wanted a big family and my doctor asked me, ‘I think you should freeze your eggs when I was in my early 20s’, that is what he said to me … He has been my family doctor for a long time and he said you are healthy is now and it would be great, why not put them away and then you never have to worry about it again?”
Rita admitted she wanted to be “safe” and accepts that some people might think she was “crazy”.
She added: “I think it depends on people’s beliefs and I’m a big believer in using what we have in making the most of it. I have never said that on TV, and I’m 26 so I know people might say, ‘Wow, that’s so young’. I just wanted to really be safe. Maybe that is me being crazy.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has sold his shares in REVOLT.
Amid a raft of serious abuse allegations the disgraced rapper is facing, his media company – who was seen attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in 2016 via CCTV footage – has been declared “fully redeemed and retired” from REVOLT.
A statement from the firm read: “As the company continues to pioneer a new era of entertainment that empowers creators and establishes a new media model, this transformative structure ensures that the employees who are driving the company’s growth also have the opportunity to benefit from its success.
“The allocation of equity participation will be rolled out over the next few months. We’re working diligently to ensure a smooth and fair distribution process.
“Aligned with REVOLT’s mission of changing the narrative of Black culture globally, this unprecedented move sets a new industry standard that will provide equity participation opportunities for current and future employees — many of whom come from groups that have been historically disenfranchised from such opportunities.”
It noted: “Shares held by the company’s former chair, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, have been fully redeemed and retired.”
REVOLT released a damning statement on the CCTV footage and urged victims of abuse to contact a domestic violence group.
It said on Instagram: “We are deeply saddened and disturbed by the recent video circulation of our former chairman, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
“Even with his recent separation from Revolt, it is still our duty to address this matter, and recognize the direct impact has on our staff, our audience, and the culture we represent.”
Combs co-founded Revolt in 2013, and the company added it “stands in solidarity with all who have been a victim of abuse and remain committed to upholding the values and integrity our community expects from us.”
It also said: “We vehemently stand against any form of domestic abuse and will always be a fearless advocate for truth and accountability.”
REVOLT ended its statement by sharing the contact information for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
Combs temporarily stepped down as chairman in November 2023, after Cassie, who he dated for 10 years, filed a lawsuit against him.
It accused the rapper – who has changed his name to Sean Love Combs – of rape and physical abuse, and detailed the hotel beating incident featured in the recently-released footage.
Combs settled the lawsuit out of court the day after it was lodged.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office will not file charges against Combs due to a statute of limitations which stops them prosecuting over attacks as far back as 2016.
Combs said in his apology video, released on Instagram, that he was “truly sorry” for beating Cassie.
He started the video by saying it was “so difficult” to reflect on the “darkest times of your life”, but said: “Sometimes you have to do that.”
Diddy added: “I was f****** up. I mean I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behaviour on that video is inexcusable.
“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it and I’m disgusted now.”
The footage showed Combs holding a towel around his waist as he chases after Cassie before he strikes her, hurls her to the floor and kicks her as she lies motionless on the ground.
He then grabs her bags and continues to assault Cassie before dragging her across the elevator bank into the hallway.
A second camera angle of the assault shows the singer slowly standing up and gathering her bags after the attack ends – with Combs sitting on a chair directly in front of her as she picks up a phone in the hallway.
Combs is then seen grabbing what seems to be a vase and throwing it at the singer.
Diddy was hit with a wave of lawsuits in late 2023 and early 2024, including allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault.
The cases remain active, and he has denied all claims against him.

Paloma Faith hates the word ‘co-parenting’ for very specific reason

OHMYGOSSIP — Paloma Faith hates the word “co-parenting” because fathers shouldn’t be “over applauded for actually parenting”.
The 42-year-old singer – who split from her ex Leyman Lahcine in 2022 – has two daughters with her former husband, and she has hit out at the way mother-and-fatherhood is portrayed in society.
Appearing on ITV breakfast show ‘Lorraine’ in the UK, she said: “I don’t like the word co-parent because co implies it is 50/50 and I don’t believe it is.
“There are definitely some men pulling in a lot of the work.
“But in the majority of cases it is the woman who deals with the mental load that comes with being a parent and also has them the majority of the time.”
She insisted she wasn’t attacking her ex, but argued there didn’t need to be another word used for being a dad.
She added: “I’m not saying that I don’t think my children’s dad is amazing, but I think we need to say what is actually happening and not over compliment the men.
“So I don’t use the word ‘co-parent’, I say, ‘Oh my kids go to their dads a few nights a week’ and I’m so happy that they do that and that they’ve got a lovely father
“But let’s not over compliment them because they do get that all the time… Let’s not over applaud them for actually parenting.”
Although the ‘How You Lose a Man’ hitmaker – who wrote about her split on new album ‘The Glorification of Sadness’ – is glad her daughters have their dad in their life, she admitted it makes things difficult when it comes to moving on from their breakup.
She recently told the ‘Great Company with Jamie Laing’ podcast: “Well, just because you finished the album doesn’t mean the trauma has gone away.
“But I think in the past up till, like so my first five albums, were all albums that I felt like I’d put something to bed with.
“But I think this is ongoing navigation, because we have children together. And that’s what makes this a different type of heartbreak album.
“Because the heartbreak will be forever and, and the navigation of our relationship changing shape will be forever probably till we die. You can’t really let go of somebody you’ve got kids with.”
