Jake Paul and Mike Tyson reschedule fight for November

OHMYGOSSIP — Jake Paul and Mike Tyson have rescheduled their boxing match for November 15.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer was originally set to face Tyson, 57, in Arlington, Texas, on June 20, but they were forced to postpone the fight, after the former heavyweight champion fell ill on a flight last month.
Tyson – who suffered an ulcer problem during the flight – said in a statement: “Although we had to postpone the fight, I will resume training shortly.
“I am thankful to the medical staff that treated me and to MVP, Netflix, and AT and T Stadium for working diligently to find the best reschedule date for all parties.
“While we have a new date, the result will be the same no matter when we fight. Jake Paul is getting knocked out.”
Nakisa Bidarian – the co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, the company organising the event – is thrilled that they’ve managed to reschedule the fight and that it will still be held at AT and T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
Nakisa said: “Our team has worked diligently with all parties involved to reschedule this monumental fight to a date that ensures both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are fully prepared, with equal training time, as well as allowing us to keep the event at AT and T stadium in the midst of the Cowboys season.”
Tyson previously revealed that he was looking forward to facing Jake, 27.
Speaking before the postponement, Tyson said: “I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT and T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.
“It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him.”

Ed Sheeran ‘lived on a diet of chicken wings during his fat phase’

OHMYGOSSIP — Ed Sheeran became overweight after eating “chicken wings for a year and a half”.
The 33-year-old pop star has revealed that his unhealthy diet led him to pile on the pounds while he was touring in the US.
During an appearance on the ‘Session 24’ podcast, Ed explained: “I was in my fat phase … in America, I used to think no carbs meant no bread, no fries.
“I was like ‘I can eat chicken wings’ and I just ate chicken wings for a year and a half. And I put on four stone.”
Ed ultimately decided to embark on a weight-loss journey, and he’s managed to maintain a healthy weight ever since.
He said: “I’m prone to putting on a lot of weight and what I found is just going to the gym regularly and trying to portion size.
“I don’t have an off switch. If I have one thing to eat, the off switch is there.
“Like if I have that, then I won’t be like I need to order another and another.
“If everything is in front of me then I will eat it.”
Meanwhile, Ed previously confessed to feeling uncomfortable when he was asked to take his shirt off for his ‘Shape of You’ music video.
The pop star got himself in good shape by the time he shot the music video for his 2017 single – but Ed still wasn’t entirely comfortable with the idea.
He told Us Weekly: “My lifestyle changed. I realised I needed to start exercising, not necessarily to be slim but have a healthy heart. By exercising and not having such a wild lifestyle, you end up being a healthy human being.
“Having my shirt off in the video wasn’t my idea, though. It was the director’s and it kind of happened very last minute. I wasn’t really comfortable with it but he lit it in such a way that it ended up looking quite cool.”

Glen previously suggested that fame has complicated his love life.
The actor – who split from Gigi Paris in 2023 – told Bustle magazine: “I’ve been talking to some people in my life and they’re like, ‘Glen, you’re a single guy. I know you’re trying to do all the right things in all the right ways, but you just have to embrace that those failures will be a little more public, a little more hurtful than maybe most people, maybe a little more embarrassing, but it’s okay. But when you’re going to fall, and you will inevitably fall in love, it’ll work.'”

Billy Ray Cyrus admits he is ‘incredibly proud’ of his daughter Miley despite their supposed feud

OHMYGOSSIP — Billy Ray Cyrus is “incredibly proud” of his daughter Miley.
The 62-year-old country music singer helped launch the career of Grammy Award-winning superstar Miley, 31, when they starred together in the late 2000s Disney Channel series ‘Hannah Montana’ and although they are not currently thought to be on speaking terms, he took to social media on Friday (07.06.24) to hail her as a “true artist” and a “survivor”.
Alongside an old picture of himself and his daughter from Miley’s early childhood, he wrote on Instagram: “One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair. That’s @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds. ~
“The next day, someone handed me this picture, and I wrote that poem right then on the bus. I’m incredibly proud of her. She’s a survivor and a true artist. “She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.
“We both cherish the connection we have with our fans and are grateful for every single one of you! Hope you all have a great Friday! Now rock the country!!!”
From the image of the handwritten note, the lyrics to the poem are not entirely clear but it is titled ‘The Moment’ but amongst them he notes that the “picture is way too happy to make [him] feel sad”.
In 2007, he wrote and released the track ‘ Ready, Set, Don’t Go’ as the lead single from his 2007 album ‘ Home at Last’ and the track that focused on his feelings towards Miley’s sudden rise to fame featured in Season Two episode of his daughter’s hit TV show.
The ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ hitmaker has become somewhat estranged from Miley in recent years after he divorced her mother Tish Cyrus and married singer Firerose, 34, but insiders recently claimed that he has tried contacting her several times and “congratulated” after she won her first Grammy for megahit single ‘Flowers’ earlier this year.
A source told Us Weekly: “He’s tried reaching out to Miley many times and congratulated her on her Grammys. The kids have chosen sides, but friends are hoping the rift doesn’t last forever.”
The insider also claimed that Miley – who attended her mom Tish’s wedding to Dominic Purcell in August along with her older siblings Trace and Brandi, whilst her younger brother and sister Braison and Noah did not – has chosen to “stand by” her mother but is “on the outs” with her dad.
The source said: “Miley and Billy Ray are on the outs. Miley’s very close with her mom and is standing by her. Noah has always been close with Billy Ray,. It’s caused a rift between her and Miley.”

‘I think he thinks I am the Queen…’ Sarah Ferguson spills on life with late monarch’s corgis

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, believes one of Queen Elizabeth’s dogs has confused her with the late monarch.
The 64-year-old author and her ex-husband Prince Andrew took in corgis Sandy and Muick after the queen passed away in September 2022, and they bring a lot of “joy” to their home at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Asked how the dogs are doing, Sarah told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “They are such joys. I am dog-mad and they are exceptional.
“Sandy follows me everywhere – I think he thinks I am the Queen. They are national treasures.”
Sarah was close to her former mother-in-law and still thinks about her every day.
She said: “I think about her as many times a day as I possibly can because I think, ‘What would the queen say, what would she do, what would she think?’
“I asked her, ‘How do you do what you do?’ and HM said, ‘Always be the chairman, not the CEO.’ ”
Sarah is a doting grandmother to Princess Beatrice’s stepson Wolfie, eight, and two-year-old daughter Sienna, and Princess Eugenie’s kids August, three, and Ernest, 12 months.
She said: “I do treasure hunts around the garden – really good ones with buckets and spades.
“And I put dinosaurs behind the rhododendrons.”
The duchess is very proud of her two daughters.
She gushed: “I think the most exquisite thing about my children is they are the finest examples of humility and kindness and they are good mothers.
“They work so hard with all their different organisations, but what I love more than anything is seeing my girls as great mothers.
“Of course, I love my grandchildren but I love my girlies.”

Normani hails Beyonce as an inspiration

OHMYGOSSIP — Normani feels inspired by Beyonce’s success.
The 28-year-old singer has hailed Beyonce’s country-influenced album, ‘Cowboy Carter’, and Normani believes she’s helped to change the landscape of the music business.
The former Fifth Harmony star told Dazed magazine: “This country album for Beyonce is so important. People can say what they want to but, like, why look at a black artist and be quick to label?”
Normani would love to have a similar impact on the music industry.
She said: “That’s what I set out to do as well – like, there’s so much power in me. In the group, I didn’t recognise it – but now that I’m out of it, I recognise that it was my superpower, me in my blackness.”
Normani’s long-awaited debut album, ‘Dopamine’, has also been heavily influenced by Rihanna’s 2009 record ‘Rated R’.
She explained: “I feel like it embodies everything I wanted to say – it feels dominant, strong, assertive – but on the flipside, there are so many layers to what dopamine is. You get the highs, the lows, the thrill of it all. And it’s a little toxic, too.”
Normani has discovered a sense of “freedom” since Fifth Harmony announced their hiatus in 2018.
The ‘Candy Paint’ hitmaker – who starred in the group alongside Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello – said: “There’s a sense of freedom I have that I’ve been waiting for, a weight lifted – me just being able to be Normani, before I’m anything else.
“I’ve grown so much in my tastes, the things that I like are very different than the things I liked before, but I think it’s a perfect hybrid of past and present.”

He told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “He’s now decided he’s going to audition for Britain’s Got Talent’.
“I think he wants to be in a rock band. He loves Green Day.
“That’s going to be total torture. I mean, of all the things I’ve ever done, this will probably be the hardest, because he does play drums. [He’s] going to drum and sing! I went, ‘Oh God, no.’ ”
The outspoken star never wanted his son to audition but he is “really serious” about his intensions.
He added: “I always promised him, ‘No you stay this side of the camera darling.’ But I don’t know what it is, maybe because all these kids are auditioning and now he wants to be up there with his friends.”

A stadium insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw the Greggs van rolling up to feed Taylor and her crew. You’d expect a billionaire to be ordering champagne and caviar but the fact she’s got sausage rolls and steak bakes is amazing, she’s gone right up in my estimation.
“Who doesn’t love a Greggs sausage roll?”
The van was painted in the company’s signature navy blue colour with an orange squared logo but was emblazoned with satirical bakery themed takes on her lyrics such as ‘this is our place, we make the rolls’ and Flake It Off’ on the rear.

He told Variety: “My voice dropped, and it scared production.
“My voice was deeper than Chris Rock’s voice-over, and it didn’t make sense anymore.
“I was trying to make that transition from child actor to adult, and the voice-over space allowed me to do that because I sounded older than I was until I was able to have my body and face catch up.”
Tyler has been keen to support other child actors who have gone through a similar experience.
He said: “There’s several kids who I’ve passed along to my old child agent like, ‘Hey, there’s something here.’ Cindy Osbrink, one of the best child agents of all time. She had me, Dakota Fanning – everybody who made that transition.”

“I was like 21, 22. I had just done ‘Dear White People’. Right around then, she was like, ‘I think you’re ready to go.’ And she handed me off.
“I don’t know where I would be in my career had I not been with somebody like her who could handle those transitions.”
Tyler subsequently suggested that in order to be taken seriously as an adult actor, he needed to develop a “sexy” side.
He explained: “Part of the transition of getting the industry to see you as an adult is that you gotta become sexy at some point.”
