OHMYGOSSIP — The Princess of Wales has apologised for missing the Colonel’s Review.
The 42-year-old royal – who is undergoing preventative chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer – has sent a letter to the Irish Guards, apologising for her absence from the event.
The letter read: “I wanted to write to you to let you know how proud I am of the entire regiment ahead of the Colonel’s Review and Trooping the Colour.
“I appreciate everyone Trooping the Colour this year has been practising for months and dedicating many hours to ensuring their uniforms and drill are immaculate.
“Being your colonel remains an honour and I am very sorry that I’m unable to make the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review. Please pass on my apologies to the whole regiment.
“I do hope that I’m able to represent you all once again very soon.
“Please send my very best wishes and good luck to all involved.”
The Colonel’s Review was held at Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall, London, on Saturday (08.06.24).
The ceremonial military event is a dress rehearsal for the Trooping the Colour.
Meanwhile, the Irish Guards have sent their support to the princess as she continues with her recovery.
In a post on X, the Irish Guards said: “The Irish Guards were deeply touched to receive a letter from our Colonel, Her Royal Highness, The Princess of Wales this morning.
“We continue to wish Her Royal Highness well in her recovery and send Her our very best wishes. Quis Separabit @KensingtonRoyal @ArmyInLondon (sic)”
In March, the princess announced that she was in the early stages of treatment after a cancer diagnosis.
She admitted in a video message that the diagnosis came as a “huge shock” to her.
The princess added: “I am well and getting stronger every day.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Tyler Cameron hopes he doesn’t receive an invite to Hannah Brown’s wedding.
The 29-year-old beauty is set to marry Adam Woolard, and although they remain on good terms, Tyler doesn’t have any desire to attend the ceremony.
Tyler, 31 – who starred alongside Hannah, his ex-girlfriend, on ‘The Bachelorette’ – told Us Weekly: “I mean that with all due respect to her and her man, I’m not gonna get an invite. I hope I don’t get an invite. It should be about them.
“It should not be about anyone else. It’s a special day for two special people and they’re gonna have an amazing wedding. I don’t need to be there.”
Last year, Tyler revealed that he cried in a bathtub for two hours after he split from Hannah.
The TV star recalled crawling into the tub with a “12 pack of beer” as he tried to overcome his heartbreak.
Tyler – who starred alongside Hannah on season 15 of ‘The Bachelorette’ – told the ‘Not Skinny But Not Fat’ podcast: “I was very upset. I definitely cried a little bit, got a 12 pack of beer, sat in the bathtub for two hours, put on some Juice WRLD and cried and got over it.”
Prior to that, Tyler revealed that he wants to settle down and start a family.
The reality star told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: “I want to settle in and I want to kind of build out my life and family and career and everything.
“I mean, I moved back home to Florida to kind of focus on that. So that’s kind of been where my head’s at lately.

The 38-year-old model has taken to social media to deny having had fillers and to highlight the dangers of spreading rumours online.
Chrissy – who is married to the Grammy-winning musician John Legend – said on Instagram: “Would you trust a doctor that couldn’t tell filler from weight gain? I personally wouldn’t.
“And also, my doctor would never, ever, hang out on Instagram and dissect people’s faces … he’s too busy working.
“Also, last thing on this, just because I’ve already started. Those kinds of critiques only serve to make the person you’re talking about not want to smile and show their natural joy because they think that people are going to make fun of them because of their bone structure, maybe their teeth, their lips, how they look when they smile.”
Chrissy subsequently argued that critics need to be careful about what they say online.
The model – who has previously appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue – said: “Like, what does this really do, other than truly steal somebody else’s joy? Literally. So that stinks. And you aren’t a bad person, but what you said stinks, and maybe you’ll think about it from now on.”

The 40-year-old singer has taken to Instagram to reveal that two of her rescue dogs, Delta Dawn and Louise, both died recently.
Alongside some throwback photos of her dogs, Miranda wrote on Instagram: “In the last 6 weeks two of the best and most loyal friends I have ever had have left this earth
“I’m so heartbroken to have lost them, to love this big you have to hurt just as big, they are worth it. (sic)”
Miranda recalled that Delta Dawn was “homeless and hungry” when she first saw her.
The award-winning star added: “Little did I know when I was trying to just get a cherry limeade, I would meet one of the most amazing dogs I would ever know.
“She was on almost every tour I’ve ever been on I’m honored to have met her and learned so much from her. (sic)”
Miranda subsequently recalled rescuing Louise and her sister Thelma back in 2016.
She said: “The first day I ever brought them to the farm in TN, they were right at home. I have mini horses, chickens and goats and I needed them for protection for the critters. And boy did they do the job. (sic)”
Despite her heartbreak, Miranda encouraged her followers to consider adopting a pet themselves.
The ‘Famous in a Small Town’ hitmaker – who has more than four million followers on Instagram – explained: “I want yall to know that I’m an advocate for rescue because I live it out and everyday I am blessed with the joy of having these animals in my life. The 42-year-old pop star has been tipped as a possible replacement for Katy Perry on the show’s judging panel, but Kelly insists that she can’t commit herself to the programme.
Kelly – who has River Rose, nine, and Remmington, eight, with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock – told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I can’t do that, only because I promised my kids.
“I was like, ‘I wanna be there as much as I can.’ And it would put me in Los Angeles, and that’s why I had to quit ‘The Voice’, which … I love that team.”
Kelly previously served as a coach on ‘The Voice’, while she also won the first season of ‘American Idol’ back in 2002.
Meanwhile, Katy previously argued that a female star should replace her on the ‘American Idol’ judging panel.
The 39-year-old pop star believes there should always be a female voice on the ‘American Idol’ panel.

The 50-year-old actress is a long-time fan of the chart-topping pop star, and she was thrilled that Taylor gave a nod to the hit film franchise on her song.
Alyson – who played Michelle Flaherty in the money-spinning film franchise – told Vulture: “I had my little countdown waiting for the album to drop.

OHMYGOSSIP — Harvey Weinstein has launched an appeal against his Los Angeles rape conviction.
Lawyers for the 72-year-old former film producer have claimed that he didn’t get a fair trial in his case in California in 2022, when he was convicted of rape and sexual assault.
Weinstein was handed a 16-year jail sentence, but he’s now requesting a new trial.
According to Weinstein’s lawyers, he “stands wrongfully convicted of sexually assaulting Jane Doe 1”.
In documents seen by NBC, it’s also claimed that evidence was wrongly excluded from the trial and that the jury was unfairly prejudiced by testimony from other women about alleged sexual assaults that he was not charged with.
What’s more, Weinstein’s legal team argue that Superior Court Judge Lisa B Lench made a mistake in allowing jurors to know about Weinstein’s previous conviction in New York, which was subsequently overturned.
In April, Weinstein’s 2020 rape conviction was overturned by the New York Court of Appeals.
The court ruled with a majority 4-3 vote that the movie mogul did not receive a fair trial, after they found prosecutors were allowed to call witnesses whose accusations were not the focus of the case.
As a result, the ruling declared Weinstein – who will remain in prison for a separate 2022 rape conviction – had been tried on his past behaviour, not solely the crimes he had been charged with.
They stated that Justice James Burke, the judge in charge of the 2020 trial, “erroneously admitted testimony of uncharged, alleged prior sexual acts against persons other than the complainants of the underlying crimes”.
The ruling added: “The remedy for these egregious errors is a new trial.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ honorary degree from Howard University has been revoked.
The ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker had the honour conferred in 2014 but the historically Black institution have announced their board of trustees have voted unanimously to return his degree following the recent release of 2016 video footage which showed the disgraced music mogul attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
A statement from the board read: “The Howard University Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to accept the return by Mr. Sean Combs of the honorary degree conferred upon him in 2014. This acceptance revokes all honours and privileges associated with the degree. Accordingly, the Board has directed that his name be removed from all documents listing honorary degree recipients of Howard University.
“Mr. Combs’ behaviour as captured in a recently released video is so fundamentally incompatible with Howard University’s core values and beliefs that he is deemed no longer worthy to hold the institution’s highest honor.
“The University is unwavering in its opposition to all acts of interpersonal violence.”
In addition, the establishment – which Diddy attended from 1987 to 1989 – will also terminate a 2016 gift agreement made with the 54-year-old rapper, disband a scholarship that was established in his name, return his $1 million contribution, and terminate a 2023 pledge agreement made with the Sean Combs Foundation.
It noted: “No payments toward the $1 million pledge have been due or made by the Sean Combs Foundation as of this date, therefore no funds are due to be returned under the 2023 pledge agreement.”
After CNN published the video of Diddy attacking Cassie, he issued an apology for his “inexcusable” conduct via Instagram.
He said: “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that.
“I was f***** up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.”
Diddy has been subjected to multiple lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct in recent months but has denied the allegations against him.

OHMYGOSSIP — Earl Charles Spencer is getting divorced.
The 60-year-old broadcaster – who is the brother of the late Princess Diana – has split from his third wife Karen Gordon, the Countess of Spencer, after 14 years of marriage amid the strain of writing his harrowing memoir, ‘A Very Private School’, which recounts the physical and sexual abuse he was allegedly subjected to at boarding school.
He told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “It is immensely sad.
“I just want to devote myself to all my children, and to my grandchildren, and I wish Karen every happiness in the future.”
He also admitted the five years of work on his book had “deeply affected” him and led to him undergoing residential treatment for trauma late last year.
The publication reported the earl has now grown closer to Cat Jarman, the Norwegian archaeologist he co-hosts ‘The Rabbit Hole Detectives’ history podcast with, alongside Rev. Richard Coles.
Friends said they look very happy together but it is “early days” for the pair.
Charles and Karen – who have 13-year-old daughter Lady Charlotte together – are believed to have told staff at their Althorp estate about their plans to divorce back in March.
The pair married on the family estate in June 2011, a year after they first met on a blind date.
Charles previously told the Sunday Times newspaper of their relationship: “Karen and I both appreciate what the other does and look after what we have. Neither of us has found happiness like this before.”
As well as Charlotte, the earl also has four children with first wife Victoria Lockwood and two with second spouse Caroline Freud. Canadian entrepreneur Karen has two daughters from her marriage to Hollywood producer Mark Gordon.
The earl recently spoke on ‘Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg’ about how he had to seek counselling at a “residential treatment centre” last year due to the “trauma” of reliving the abuse during the writing of the book, which he said sparked a “breakdown”.
Charles added: “Confronting… evil is a very, well, it’s cataclysmic really.
“I’ve always been intrigued by what humans are capable of doing for each other.”
When asked how detailing his experiences of abuse in his book had affected him, Charles said he was taken to a “very dark place” and added: “I had endless nightmares.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, wants a role in ‘Bridgerton’.
The 64-year-old author previously made a cameo appearance in ‘Friends’ and recently had a small part in a Hallmark movie, and she’s hoping to build on that with more work in TV and film.
She told Britain’s HELLO! magazine: “I made a cameo in the Hallmark movie ‘An American in Austen’.
“I’d like to do more walk-on parts and voiceovers and I’ve asked my agent if I could get a walk-on part in ‘Bridgerton’. “
And Sarah will also be working behind-the-scenes too.
She said: “Hallmark have asked me to write five romcoms and [my novel] ‘Her Heart for a Compass’ is going to be made into a TV series.”
The duchess’ first two novels were historical fiction and though she’s got a third in the pipeline, she plans to put that book on hold for now as she’s got a “cosy crime” story in the works.
Asked if she’s planning any more historical fiction, she said: “I’ve already started book three with HarperCollins and I’m ‘collaborwriting’ again with Marguerite Kaye.
“But we might put it off for six months because we’re delving into cosy crime and I’m so excited by it.
“It’s ‘Beyond Paradise’ meets ’Death in Paradise’ meets ‘Psych’ and it’s absolutely bizarre but it really amuses me.”
Sarah is “proud” to have established a new career for herself in her 60s.
She said: “I really feel as if I have embarked on a new career in my 60s, I am proud to call myself an author…
“To have a book out that comes from your imagination is pretty extraordinary.
“My novels have been very well received by readers, which is immensely gratifying.”

She told new! magazine: “I didn’t date for a long time. I was single for eight-and-a-half nine years… I think they know I’m fussy and it took me a long time to find someone, so they trust that.

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce’s brother doesn’t think it is possible for the footballer and his girlfriend Taylor Swift to lead a “normal” life.
Fellow NFL star Jason Kelce admitted he and wife Kylie Kelce had thought things had gone “crazy” for them in the past in terms of public recognition, but the former Philadelphia Eagles centre noted it was nothing like the attention the tight end and his megastar partner receive wherever they go.
Speaking on the ‘Whiskey Ginger’ podcast, he said: “Travis and Taylor have taken it to another level.
“Kylie and I think we have it bad and then we go hang out with one of them for a second. This is a whole other situation here. … Like, you can’t be a normal person at that point.”
But while Jason noted everyone is “evolving” as a result of Travis’ high-profile romance with the ‘Karma’ singer, he doesn’t think his brother’s fame has affected who he is.
He said: “I haven’t seen him change one bit. He stayed true to himself. He’s still humble. He treats everyone with the utmost respect.”
Jason’s comments come a few days after Travis reflected on how he has stayed “grounded” thanks to the people around him.
He told ‘Good Morning America’: “When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier.

The ‘Dear Future Husband’ singer – who has Riley, three, and 11-month-old Barry with husband Daryl Sabara – was worried she’d have to give up music because she wouldn’t be able to juggle it with motherhood, but she’s ultimately found her sons to be a huge source of drive and inspiration.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “When I got pregnant, I had that thought, ‘Is my career done now I am a mom?’ I thought that I couldn’t do both. But then I released Made You Look, and that song blew up.
“I had the best year of my career after my baby – because he inspired me to be the best version of me.
“Every morning I would walk in, just stare at him for about 45 minutes and think, ‘I’m going to get the healthiest I’ve ever been, be the most motivated, write the best songs I’ve ever written.
“‘I’m going to work my a*** off to show you that you can have it all, and you can live your dreams’.
“If you want something bad enough, work hard and get it done, because we’re doers. That’s what I say to my husband all the time.
We’ve had some tough times, but I always say that I’ve survived two pregnancies and two C-sections, so there’s nothing I can’t do.”
