OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift delighted the Edinburgh Food Project with a generous donation after performing three sell-out shows in the Scottish city.
The non-profit donates food to around 6,000 people annually in the capital city, but they did not disclose the sum the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker pledged.
The charity’s director Bethany Biggar said: “We are thrilled that Taylor has decided to support the food banks and leave a lasting impact on Edinburgh.
“Things are really tough for a lot of people right now, so it is lovely to see someone like Taylor spreading such positivity.”
The 34-year-old superstar – who has donated to many food banks amid her ‘Eras World Tour’ – has also been praised by City Council leader Cammy Day for boosting the economy by millions with her gigs at the BT Murrayfield Stadium last week.
He said: “Edinburgh truly has given Taylor Swift and her hundreds of thousands of fans visiting the Capital from across the globe this weekend a spectacular welcome.
“From everything I have seen so far, the atmosphere across the city has been one of fun and celebration as Swifties travelled around having The Best Day until it was Time to Go home.
“And the event is expected to have injected tens of millions of pounds into our city’s economy.”
Taylor hit the headlines when she wore gloves to one of the concerts after suffering a “weird” cramp in the chilly city the night before.
The ‘Love Story’ singer was forced to briefly stop playing her guitar on Friday (07.06.24) because she was suffering with cramp due to the chill in the air.
She told the crowd: “My hand has frozen in a weird cramp … this is so embarrassing … it’s like performing with a claw.
“No one relates.”
And when she returned to the venue on Saturday (08.06.24), she was wearing a pair of black gloves, seemingly to prevent the cramp coming back.
Despite the cold, Taylor relished the experience of performing for her fans in Scotland, admitting that she had an “unforgettable” evening.
The blonde beauty – who performed some of her best-known songs, including ‘Cruel Summer’ and ‘Lover’, during the show – said: “Edinburgh, you have given us everything you could possibly give us tonight.”
Taylor is set to perform in Liverpool on June 13, 14 and 15, and it was recently announced that the city will be renamed Taylor Town when 150,000 fans descend on the city for her shows at Anfield.
She is also scheduled to perform in Cardiff and London, too, and her shows are reportedly set to boost UK spending by almost £1 billion.

OHMYGOSSIP — BTS star Jin is set to hug 1,000 fans upon his return from military service.
The 31-year-old K-pop sensation – whose real name is Kim-Seok-jin – is the eldest member of the South Korean boy band and had been working as an assistant drill instructor at a training facility in the country.
A raffle took place for members of the ARMY – their loyal fan base – to get the opportunity to give the singer an embrace on Thursday (13.06.24).
Ms Park, 32, was one of the lucky fans to win a hug with her idol.
She said: “I’m so happy now that I will meet Jin.
“I didn’t expect to win. I couldn’t believe it so all weekend I kept checking over and over again.”
Jin already reunited with his bandmates – RM, 28, Suga 31, Jung Kook, 26, J-Hope, 30, V, 28, and Jimin, also 28 – briefly and hosted a livestream for fans.
He said: “Thank you for waiting for me, I love you. I will try to express my feelings tomorrow.”
As well as hugs, Jin will perform special requests to 3,000 fans.
One fan attending is flying all the way from the Philippines for the intimate fan event.
There was also outrage when some fans accused label HYBE of trying to use fans to sell more BTS albums.
However, Jin insisted during his livestream: “This is something that the company and I prepared in good intention, so please understand.”
Meanwhile, Jung Kook previously declared that the “synergy of BTS in 2025” will be “incredible”.
The ‘IDOL’ band have been on a break since last summer due to the band members focusing on solo projects and carrying out mandatory military service.
And Jung Kook admitted he’s missing his bandmates and is excited about their reunion.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, he said: “We were always together for so many years that I felt the void of them not being next to me. You know, I miss them… I think the synergy of BTS in 2025 will be incredible.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Tom Jones admits he has “less control” over his vocal cords in later life.
The 84-year-old music legend has had to adjust his singing to suit his lower voice, but he has no plans to call it quits anytime soon.
He told Yours magazine: “My voice is lower now. As we get older, our voices drop, and we get more character in them. The older you get, the less control you have over your vocal cords.
“All you have got to do is push it harder … and I can still do that. I can still sing and I can prove it, so here it is.”
He added: “Being older, I feel I’ve got a point to prove. I can still sing and I can prove it, so here it is.”
The ‘Sex Bomb’ hitmaker also admitted being a sex symbol has “backfired” on him.
The silver fox said: “You have to use shtick and then it caught on and I was drowning in a sea of panties after a while. It backfired on me.

He said when asked by the Metro newspaper if he would like to see an ABBA-style hologram show of Tom Jones happen, or his voice used in AI if he lost his voice or was forced to quit performing: “I don’t know – hopefully that’s nowhere near! I’m still able to get up there and do it live.
“I don’t know, it’s a good question because I’ve never really thought about that. “If people want to see it– like when they put up the film of Elvis and they’d have a live band in front.
“As long as they could see him on the screen it was almost like he was there. It’s a hard call, because if people want to go and see that, then fine.
“If that’s all you’ve got left of that person and you still want to go and see that, because it’s a film of a person you love, then – I haven’t seen the ABBA hologram – I’ve seen it advertised but I haven’t actually seen what it looks like on stage.”

The ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker subsequently revealed that her boys both love bath time with their mom.

Rihanna also explained how RZA’s hair differs from that of his brother.

The 71-year-old singer has acknowledged that she can be blunt in her criticism – but she doesn’t have any plans to change her ways.
She told The Independent: “I just tell the truth all the time, and I can’t help it.
“It upsets people sometimes. But hell, if the truth upsets you I can’t really help that.”
Chaka first found stardom as the lead vocalist of the funk band Rufus in the 70s.
And although she’s subsequently enjoyed huge success as a solo artist, it hasn’t been an easy transition to make.
The Grammy-winning star explained: “I had a very hard time, especially in concert. I was so used to having [guitarist Tony Maiden] on one side of me and [bassist Bobby Watson] on the other.”
Chaka initially struggled to deal with the extra attention that came her way.
She shared: “All of a sudden, I’m all on my own.
“I had to step forward and be what was really going on.
“And I didn’t know how to do that. And the record company was screwing Rufus, screwing me – there was just a royal lot of screwing going on. And I was beginning to lose my love for what I love to do. And that scared the hell out of me. Because if I lost that … I wouldn’t be here. I’d have to go. Do you know what I’m saying?”
Chaka ultimately turned to drug and alcohol abuse, as she struggled to cope with the pressures of the music industry.
The singer – who has now been sober for almost 20 years – said: “I found ways to hang on. Substance abuse, and all kinds of other s***.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Travis Kelce always saw baseball as his career “plan B”.
The Super Bowl-winning star enjoyed playing football and baseball during his younger years, and he always considered baseball to be a fallback career option.
The NFL star – who began dating Taylor Swift in 2023 – said on the ‘New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce’ podcast: “I know so many guys that played baseball that were also really good at football.”
Jason Kelce, Travis’ brother, then asked: “Was there ever a point where you almost pursued baseball instead of other sports?”
And Travis replied: “It was always something in the back of my mind that I knew, like, I had a chance at if I wanted to give it a run.”
Travis, 34 – who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL – believes he has a lot of the natural attributes needed to succeed as a baseball player.

“I could track a baseball in the outfield. Like, I felt like I would I would always get a chance.
“So it was always in the back of my mind that I had that as a plan B, which is why I tried to, you know, play in 2010 when I got kicked out of school or when I got kicked off the team for a little bit.
“I was always just kinda keeping that alive in a sense.”
Travis hosted an episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 2023, and he’s previously been tipped to move into the entertainment industry after he retires from the NFL.

In May, showrunner Alex Baskin confirmed that ‘Vanderpump Rules’ is poised to return for another season.
Alex dismissed speculation that the reality TV series won’t return for a 12th season, after Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss’ cheating scandal in 2023.
Speaking after the three-part reunion shows, Alex told The Hollywood Reporter: “Obviously there’s been a lot of speculation. People have written the show’s final chapter many times, and the show has continued. So just because it’s a reflective moment that clearly marks the end of one chapter does not necessarily mean that it is the end of the show.”
Alex also insisted that ‘Vanderpump Rules’ still has room to grow and develop.
He explained: “You see there is still a lot of fertile ground and developments in their lives, so I think it would be very premature that just because we really close the book on Scandoval in a lot of ways, because it was this moment that sort of blew up everything and that extended into the next season, does not mean necessarily that the show is over.”

During an appearance on ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman’, Miley – who previously played the central character on the TV show ‘Hannah Montana’ – shared: “My perfect life would be the synopsis of my TV show, it would be normal by day and a superstar by night.

The 68-year-old star was born and raised in Somalia, but Iman had a strong sense of “self-worth” when she moved to the US to begin her modelling career.
She told InStyle: “I came into the industry, although 19, but I was fully formed about my worth before I came in, as an African girl, Somali, coming from where I come from and all that.
“One thing that my parents instilled in me, especially as a girl, was that self-worth is key. And they said it to me: relationships, jobs, it doesn’t matter – if it doesn’t serve you well, it doesn’t treat you well, just walk away from it. And walking away never means you’re losing something. So I came in having that, at least, in my pocket.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Prince William “stepped up to the mark” in the absence of King Charles.
The 41-year-old royal has helped to fill the void while the monarch – who recently returned to public-facing duties – and his wife, the Princess of Wales, have undergone treatment for cancer.
Royal photographer Samir Hussein told Us Weekly: “I think it remains very positive that Prince William has really stepped up to the mark with the king being out of action for a few months.”
Samir praised the Prince of Wales for how he’s dealt with the situation.
He said: “Prince William’s been through so much, obviously, with what’s been happening with Kate, which we didn’t know about for so long.
“I think he’s done remarkably well in really, really trying circumstances.
“He’s still being himself on engagements, he’s still been joking when he meets with the public.”
Buckingham Palace announced in February that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer.
At the time, it was revealed that the monarch felt “positive” about his treatment and that he was keen to return to public duties as soon as possible.
The statement read: “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public-facing duties. Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake State business and official paperwork as usual.
“The King is grateful to his medical team for their swift intervention, which was made possible thanks to his recent hospital procedure.
“He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.
“His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Amanda Kloots was financially devastated by Nick Cordero’s hospital bills.
The actor died from COVID-19 related complications in March 2020, aged 41, and Amanda has now revealed that Nick’s hospital treatment left her in a terrible financial situation.
The 42-year-old star – who married Nick in 2017 – said on the ‘Richer Lives’ podcast: “Nick was in the hospital for 95 days. His whole body was being run by machines.
“The ventilator alone was $3,000 a day … on top of the 20 other machines that were running his body.”
Amanda was shocked by the cost of Nick’s treatment.
The TV star – who had Elvis, five, with her late husband – shared: “When I heard that, I immediately was like, ‘What am I going to do?’ So you can imagine what the total bill was.”
Amanda never actually imagined that Nick would pass away, despite his health struggles.
She said: “I never thought I was going to lose my husband.
“Up until the day he passed away, I really thought we were going to make it. So I don’t think the financial magnitude really really hit me until he passed away and calls were coming in … Unfortunately, death is a business.”
Meanwhile, Amanda previously admitted that she finds being a working mom to be an “emotional rollercoaster”.
The star confessed that she’s struggled to find a healthy work/life balance.
Amanda wrote on Instagram: “Saying goodbye to this little guy just keeps getting harder and harder. We were both in tears today, holding each other tight, doing our handshake, hugging and kissing over and over. This is new…these types of goodbyes. He understands now when I have to leave him.
“The work/life balance as a working mother is so hard. I love work and I love my son. It’s an emotional rollercoaster that I don’t think you can fully understand until you do. (sic)”

The 45-year-old TV star and the 46-year-old rapper have reached a settlement over the terms of their divorce, following their acrimonious split in 2023.
The former couple – who have a two-year-old daughter called Monaco together – have filed to keep the details of their agreement under seal, according to documents seen by DailyMail.com.
Jeannie and Jeezy – whose real name is Jay Jenkins – have chosen to keep various details – including child custody, child support and spousal support – a private matter.
The celebrity duo tied the knot back in 2021, but Jeezy filed for a divorce from Jeannie in 2023.
The TV star subsequently accused Jeezy of physically abusing her during the course of their marriage.
Jeannie claimed that her former partner abused her various times during their relationship.
In a court filing, Jeannie alleged that on one occasion, the rap star “hurled insults” at her and hit her with “a closed fist across her cheekbone and eye, causing a subconjunctival hemorrhage”.
Jeannie also alleged that on another occasion, she was pushed down the stairs by Jeezy while at the Ritz Carlton hotel in San Francisco.
Jeezy later rubbished her allegations, describing them as “deeply disturbing”.
In a statement given to ‘Entertainment Tonight’, the rap star said: “This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous.
“It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”

The 62-year-old actress is mourning the loss of her dad, Bill, who she described of the “love of my life”, and said he was the most “brilliant man” she had ever known.

The ‘Melrose Place’ star also admitted she was suffering from “unmeasurable pain” after her dad’s death.

Heather’s ex husband, Motley Crue frontman Tommy Lee, was among the stars who paid tribute to Bill.
