Kristin Cavallari reveals she became underweight during her ‘really unhappy marriage’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kristin Cavallari ended up being “very thin” during her “really unhappy marriage”.
The 37-year-old reality star was married to Jay Cutler from 2013 until 2022 and has Camden, 11, Jaxon, 10, and eight-year-old Saylor with him but reflected that she ended up being “so stressed” towards the end of the relationship that was incredibly underweight.
Speaking on her ‘Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari’ podcast, she explained: “I was very thin. I’ll put it in perspective for you guys. I’m 5’3″. I currently weigh 114 pounds. Filming ‘Very Cavallari’, I got down to 102, and I was eating the same amount of food that I’m eating now. The difference was I was so unhappy and so stressed out.”
The former ‘Hills’ star – who previously alleged that the reason for the split was because Jay expected her to be a stay-at-home mom and not work – explained that she sometimes looks back on photographs from that time and wonders how she ever manged to deal with having “so much on [her] plate” emotionally all at the same time.
She said: “I look back at photos from that time period and I am like, ‘Holy s**t.’ I was rail f****** thin. I was skin and bones. I looked like s***. I think I look so much better now. And you guys, that was just stress. That was being in a really unhappy marriage, quite honestly. Literally, I was so unhappy, and I had way too much on my plate.”
But now, Kristin is dating TikTok star Mark Estes and admitted that she is doing “so much for ” to take care of both her physical and mental health.
She said: “Now, I’m just taking care of myself in so many more ways too. I work out with a trainer one day a week, lifting really heavy weight. And then I usually work out three to four [other] times. So I work out four to five times a week, one time with a trainer. I lift weights on my own two to three more times… I think with the gym, it’s consistency.

King Charles’ first official portrait vandalised by animal rights activists

OHMYGOSSIP — King Charles’ first official portrait has been vandalised by animal rights activists.
The 75-year-old monarch unveiled the work by artist Jonathan Yeo in May but on Tuesday (11.06.24), activists from Animal Rising entered the Philip Mould Gallery in London and pasted a picture of the claymation character Wallace of ‘Wallace and Gromit’ onto his face.
In a nod to the fictional inventor, a speech bubble was also pasted on, which read: “No cheese Gromit. Look at all this cruelty on RSPCA farms.”
Organisers insisted that the act was done in humour and simply wanted to highlight alleged cruelty said to be taking place on farms approved and endorsed by the RSPCA.
In a post on the group’s website Daniel Juniper, one of those involved, said: “Even though we hope this is amusing to his Majesty, we also call on him to seriously reconsider if he wants to be associated with the awful suffering across farms being endorsed by the RSPCA. Charles has made it clear he is sensitive to the suffering of animals in UK farms; now is the perfect time for him to step up and call on the RSPCA to drop the assured scheme and tell the truth about animal .”
The group also posted a short video of the two activists carrying out the act.
In the past, Queen Camilla has noted how the classic characters are her husband’s “favourite people in the world.”
Artist Jonathan, 53, said about his sittings with the king – who is currently undergoing treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer: “It was a privilege and pleasure to have been commissioned by The Drapers’ Company to paint this portrait of His Majesty The King, the first to be unveiled since his Coronation.
“When I started this project, His Majesty The King was still His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, and much like the butterfly I’ve painted hovering over his shoulder, this portrait has evolved as the subject’s role in our public life has transformed.
“I do my best to capture the life experiences etched into any individual.”

I never wanted to become a heartthrob, says Josh Hartnett

OHMYGOSSIP — Josh Hartnett never intended to become a “heartthrob”.
The 45-year-old actor developed teen idol status in the late 90s, when he starred in movies such as ‘The Faculty’ and ‘The Virgin Suicides’, and Josh now admits that he never planned to become a heartthrob.
He told Variety: “It was never my intention to be a heartthrob.”
Josh “really wanted to be a serious actor” and so he pushed back against his sex symbol status.
The movie star explained: “I didn’t have the presence of mind to do that because I was so young. It had an effect on me, in which I had to fight against it.
“I really wanted to be a serious actor.
“What I didn’t understand is that I was in an amazing position, working with terrific directors on terrific projects.”
Josh made a concerted effort to “rectify” his public perception.
He said: “To me, the world had seen me as a thing that I didn’t feel like inside. I wanted to rectify that.”
Josh previously admitted that he hasn’t had a “cohesive career”.
The actor was one of the most sought-after stars in Hollywood during his younger years, but Josh subsequently opted to shun some big-budget film projects.
Speaking to The Independent, Josh – who previously starred in ‘Pearl Harbor’ and ‘Black Hawk Down’ – explained: “I have an artistic mind, and I want to follow things that are somehow just outside of my understanding.
“Does that necessarily make for a cohesive career in a movie star sense? No. But before the last few years I just had less of a chance to do it.”
Josh loves making movies and TV shows – but he doesn’t enjoy the demands of fame.
He said: “Coming up to the city and doing an interview is a rarity. Typically, I work on the films that I work on, and then I go home.”

Kevin Spacey can’t pay his ‘considerable’ debts

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Spacey can’t afford to pay his bills.
The 64-year-old actor – who has spent millions defending himself against allegations of sexual assault – has lost his home in Baltimore and he’s now struggling to repay his debts.
During an appearance on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’, Spacey shared: “This week, where I have been living in Baltimore is being foreclosed – my house is being sold at auction … so I have to go back to Baltimore to put all of my things in storage.
“So the answer to that question is, I’m not quite sure where I’m going to live … now. But I’ve been in Baltimore since we started shooting ‘House of Cards’ there. I moved there in 2012.”
Asked why his home is being foreclosed, Spacey replied: “I can’t pay the bills that I owe.”
The Hollywood star subsequently revealed the extent of his financial issues, admitting that he cannot afford to repay his bills after spending millions of dollars on legal fees.
He shared: “There have been a couple of times when thought I was going to file [for bankruptcy]. But I’ve just about managed to … dodge it. At least as of today.”
Asked how much money he currently has to his name, Spacey replied: “None.
“I mean, you have some sense of legal bills – I still owe a lot of legal bills that I’ve not been able to pay.”
Spacey clarified that he’s still in a “considerable” amount of debt.
Asked if his debts stretched into the millions, he responded: “Many millions, yes. The house itself is many millions.”
Spacey explained that his only way out of debt was to “get back on the horse”.
Spacey was blacklisted by Hollywood following abuse allegations in 2017. The acclaimed actor was subsequently charged – and later acquitted – of committing a series of alleged sexual offences in the US and the UK.

Lala Kent accuses of Ariana Madix of being a ‘diva’

OHMYGOSSIP — Lala Kent has questioned how Ariana Madix moved on with her life so soon after Tom Sandoval’s cheating scandal.
The 38-year-old star split from Tom, 41, in 2023, after it was revealed that he had a months-long affair with Rachel Leviss – but Lala has questioned how Ariana managed to move on with her current boyfriend Daniel Wai so soon afterwards.
Lala, 33, said on the ‘Two Ts in a Pod’ podcast: “When this happened on March 1st, and then I believe she had a wedding by March 10th and had already met a new guy.
“You started dating someone, you stayed in the house, you came back to this show. I’m like, ‘I understand the pain you’re going through, but if I’m relating to it, and then I’m seeing how you could move on from something so traumatic, I just don’t see how you could be that devastated.'”
Lala insisted that she was supportive of her ‘Vanderpump Rules’ co-star throughout the cheating scandal.
She shared: “I want to be around women who work hard and have things that are really cool.
“I have constantly tried to be very supportive. Not tried, I wanted to be supportive. These are my friends. When Ariana started getting opportunities outside of ‘Vanderpump Rules’, that’s great for all of us.”
Despite this, Lala believes that Ariana – who is the new host of ‘Love Island USA’ – has changed since the cheating scandal.
The TV star suggested that her co-star has developed some diva-like traits.
Lala said: “The show reached a level that it never would have reached without this. And even though it was horrible, I was not mad at the opportunity she was getting outside of the show.
“What I started getting upset about is now we’re bringing a little bit of divaness to my place of work that I’ve been doing for eight years. And I have a hard time when people think that they are bigger than the show.”

Daniel Bruhl hails ‘clever and charming’ Karl Lagerfeld

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Bruhl admires Karl Lagerfeld for keeping up “with the zeitgeist”.
The 45-year-old actor plays the legendary fashion designer in a six-part TV series called ‘Becoming Karl Lagerfeld’, and Daniel has admitted to being an admirer of the cultural icon, who died in February 2019, aged 85.
Daniel told the Guardian newspaper: “He was a very clever businessman.
“Karl Lagerfeld, even as a young man, was a great self-promoter and knew how to handle journalists, how to create brands, how to adapt to each and every single brand that he was working for like a chameleon.
“Then, of course, Chanel, the next chapter, a brand that was struggling and that he revived. It’s pretty impressive what he left; his legacy is gigantic. I guess personally what inspired me the most is that, even when you’re getting older, to not lose the grip and not become too nostalgic, to stay curious no matter what.
“This is something that I find very admirable in Karl Lagerfeld, that he had his books and he had his refuge but he never lost touch with the pulse, with the zeitgeist, with the young people.”
Daniel only met the fashion designer on one occasion, but he remembers him being a “charming” man.
The actor shared: “It’s funny with Karl because I guess he gave people the impression that they all knew him so incredibly well. I met so many Karl experts, especially in Germany, but then very often I found out they probably met him twice.
“I met him once and that doesn’t make me a Karl Lagerfeld expert. He was very clever and so charming. He told me some jokes about Berlin but after two minutes I had the feeling that I know this man. That’s why there’s so many Karl Lagerfeld experts who think like, ‘Yeah, I knew him so well.’”

Chaka Khan learned ‘life lessons’ through addiction struggles

OHMYGOSSIP — Chaka Khan learned some important “life lessons” through her addiction struggles.
The 71-year-old singer spent years battling drug abuse and alcoholism, and she now views it as a “necessary” life experience.
Chaka told The Independent: “My journey was necessary – it had to happen so I could come out like I am right now.
“I wouldn’t have the depth of feeling I do if I hadn’t gone through the things I went through, you dig?
“There are things I have done in my life I will never do again. Those were my life lessons. And I got the lesson. That’s the important thing. I got it.”
Chaka is now determined to live in the present and to not look back with any regrets.
She said: “I’m all about right now, and what’s next, I do not wallow in the mire. And I don’t regret a thing.”
Earlier this year, Chaka revealed that she’s constantly trying to “fine-tune” her life.
The singer is always tinkering with different things in her life, in an effort to become “more productive and more helpful”.
Speaking to the Guardian newspaper, she shared: “I am trying to fine-tune my life, so I am always trying to look at what we can change or fix to be more productive and more helpful.
“I want to be here for a good reason and not to just take up space and breathe in precious air for nothing.”
Chaka’s career has spanned more than five decades and she’s achieved a huge amount of success, winning as many as ten Grammys along the way.
However, the music legend still feels a sense of hopelessness about the world at large.

Jane Seymour didn’t realise the historic significance of her name

OHMYGOSSIP — Jane Seymour didn’t realise she has the same name as Henry VIII’s third wife.
The 73-year-old actress – whose birth name is Joyce Frankenberg – has revealed that she adopted the name without realising that it was the same as the former Queen of England, who died in the 16th century.
Jane said on ‘Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone’: “My agent said, ‘Your name is too long, too foreign, and too difficult to spell, so we want something English.’ So I kept the initial J, and I thought plain ‘Jane.’ … Then somebody came up with the idea of ‘Seymour,’ and it sounded very English. Easy to remember.
“It took us a little moment or two [to realise] that it was actually Henry VIII’s middle wife, the one that no one ever spoke about, until they started making all these movies about Henry the VIII!”
Jane observed that some of Henry’s other wives are better known.
She said: “I would never have done it. But then, you know, if I was going to call myself Catherine of Aragon … No, I would never have done that or Anne Boleyn. But Jane Seymour … No one had ever heard of Jane Seymour.”
Meanwhile, Jane previously revealed that she’s determined to fight ‘unseenism’.
The actress believes that the social phenomenon – which devalues women in society as they age – is a “real, really large issue in the medical world” and she’s determined to fight back against it.
Jane told PEOPLE: “A lot of women, sort of [age] 50 on, just kind of hide away and expect not to be listened to or heard.
“It’s a real, really large issue in the medical world because you have to empower women to actually stand up for their rights.”

Kevin Spacey admits to having been ‘too handsy’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Spacey has been “too handsy” in the past.
The 64-year-old actor was previously accused of committing a series of sexual offences in the US and the UK, and although he’s now been acquitted, Spacey has admitted to making some mistakes.
During an appearance on ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’, Spacey said: “[I was] pushing the boundaries … being too handsy, you know. Touching someone sexually, in a way that I didn’t know at the time that they didn’t want.”
Asked if his behaviour amounted to groping, Spacey replied: “Yeah.”
He added: “I agree that the word grope is a very odd word. I personally … I have caressed people. I have been gentle with people. That is the way that I am.
“You’re making a pass at someone, you don’t want to be aggressive – you want to be gentle. You want to see if they’re going to respond positively. So, I think the word itself is not a word that I associate with my experience.”
Meanwhile, Spacey has rubbished suggestions that he was a friend of Jeffrey Epstein.
The financier – who died in 2019, aged 66 – was a convicted sex offender, but Spacey has denied that they were ever friends.
The Hollywood star explained: “I had no relationship with him.
“I mean, I’m not a friend, I’m not a confidante, I never spent time with him.”
Spacey was blacklisted by Hollywood following the abuse allegations in 2017. But Sharon Stone recently argued that he should be allowed to resume his acting career.
The actress told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “I can’t wait to see Kevin back at work.
“He is a genius. He is so elegant and fun, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most of us ever will.”

I’d love to have a baby girl, says Rihanna

OHMYGOSSIP — Rihanna would love to have a baby girl.
The 36-year-old star already has sons RZA, two, and Riot, ten months, with A$AP Rocky, and Rihanna has now admitted that she’d love to have a “spicy little girl” one day.
Asked about the possibility of having a daughter, she told ‘Extra’: “Everybody is pushing for that. Look, if I ever get a daughter, I’m gonna show her so much footage – she’s been talked about forever.”
Asked if she’d love to have a girl, Rihanna replied: “Of course! A spicy little girl would be so fun.”
The chart-topping star was recently spotted wearing an ‘I’m Retired’ shirt.
But while she hasn’t released an album since ‘Anti’ in 2016, Rihanna has no plans to quit the music business.
She said: “That was just me looking into the future. I’m not retired.
“I just liked that dress. I got it as a gift and I loved it … They didn’t read the second line. I’m not retired, I’m just retired from dressing up – it’s a lot of effort.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna previously revealed that her relationship with Rocky “sped up” during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The award-winning star feels the pandemic was a turning point in their relationship.
She told Interview magazine: “COVID sped up our relationship, which I felt like god knew we needed because we were going to start a family. And had it not been for COVID, we would’ve taken a lot more time to get comfortable with each other, to even know that we were ready.”
RIhanna believes her current romance is different to anything she’s previously experienced.
The ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker – who has previously dated the likes of Chris Brown and businessman Hassan Jameel – explained: “I let god lead and just let go. Because in previous relationships, I tried and tried and tried my best, and you still feel like it’s not enough.
“So when someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him.
“I knew he would be a great dad.”

Sienna Miller ‘didn’t want a younger boyfriend’

OHMYGOSSIP — Sienna Miller “didn’t want a younger boyfriend” but she “fell in love quickly” with Oli Green.
The 42-year-old actress started dating Oli after meeting him at a Halloween party and they made their public debut as a couple at an Oscars party in 2022 and welcomed their first child together earlier this year – but Sienna has confessed she initially didn’t want to get involved with Oli because of their 15-year age difference.
She told Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I didn’t expect to take it seriously and then quite quickly, I fell in love. I wasn’t like, ‘I’m gonna get a younger boyfriend.’
“It was more, ‘Why are you young? That’s so annoying’.”
However, she found Oli to be “wise and well-adjusted” and she’s convinced it comes from generational differences.
Sienna explained: “There is a difference in the way that generation of men respect women. It’s specific to him, he is very wise and well-adjusted, but I do believe it’s also that generation.
“They have grown up with a slightly more level playing field. I see it in his female friends as well as in the men …
“[I have learned from] people who are younger about how clear they are in their boundaries, having that self-assuredness and self-advocacy, having ‘no’ in the repertoire in a way that we just weren’t encouraged to have.”
The ‘Alfie’ star went on to explain she now feels “much more balanced and settled and wise” after undergoing years of therapy.
She added: “I think I’ve got some wisdom from all of the things I’ve been through. The more interesting and complicated your life is, the better you’ll end up being.”
Sienna is mum to Marlowe, 11, with her ex Tom Sturridge as well as her new daughter with Oli, and she previously admitted she felt self-conscious about becoming a mum again in her 40s.
She told Vogue magazine: “I’d love to get to a point where I didn’t feel the need to make a joke of my being older and having a baby … to show I’m in on the joke.”
The screen star bared her baby bump in a photoshoot for the magazine, and she said of the decision: “I was nervous about the idea of it … [But] I was like, I’ll have that photo for the rest of my baby’s life.
“It’s kind of fascinating to fight your own prejudice against yourself. I’m constantly doing that.”

Rory McIlroy reconciles with wife

OHMYGOSSIP — Rory McIlroy has called off his divorce.
The 35-year-old golf champion had split from wife Erica Stoll last month after seven years of marriage, but the petition he lodged in a Florida court a few weeks ago – which stated their union was “irretrievably broken” – has now been voluntarily dismissed.
And Rory has confirmed that he and Erica, who are parents to three-year-old daughter Poppy, have “resolved [their] differences” and are looking forward to a future together.
He told The Guardian newspaper: “There have been rumours about my personal life recently, which is unfortunate. Responding to each rumour is a fool’s game.
“Over the past weeks, Erica and I have realised that our best future was as a family together. Thankfully, we have resolved our differences and look forward to a new beginning.”
Rory spoke as he arrived in North Carolina, where he is seeking to end his near 10-year wait to win a fifth major.
He said: “I’m really proud of my body of work over the past 15 years and everything that I have achieved, whether it be season-long titles or individual tournaments or majors.
“Obviously getting my hands on a fifth major has taken quite a while, but I’m more confident than ever that I’m right there, that I’m as close as I’ve ever been.”
The Northern Irishman’s team originally confirmed a month ago that he had split from Erica, who he met at the 2012 Ryder Cup.
His manager Sean O’Flaherty said in a statement: “Rory McIlroy’s communications team confirmed today that a divorce has been filed.
“They stressed Rory’s desire to ensure this difficult time is as respectful and amicable as possible.”
It later emerged the couple had signed a prenuptial agreement, though the details were not made public, and that the sportsman – who is worth an estimated $216 million – was seeking shared custody and for a parenting plan to be established for Poppy.
