Shannen Doherty thinks dad’s illnesses influenced choice in men due to ‘feelings of abandonment’

OHMYGOSSIP — Shannen Doherty thinks her father’s illnesses influenced her romantic choices.
The 53-year-old actress has reflected candidly on her late father John Thomas Doherty Jr – who died in 2010 – and the various health issues he was battling, and the ‘Charmed’ star admitted it gave her “feelings of abandonment”.
Speaking on her own ‘Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty’ podcast, she said: “I think watching him go in and out of the hospital and the fear that I constantly felt of, is this going to be the last time I see him?
“Is he going to die? Is he not going to come out of the hospital?”
The former’ Beverly Hills, 90210′ actress – who has been married three times – explained that she realises it’s something she has been “projecting” onto herself, rather than her dad directly influencing her.
She continued: “But it wasn’t like he was doing that to me.
“It was more that I was projecting that onto myself because I was so scared that the most important man in my life was not going to be there, that there was parts of me that sort of shut down as I got older.
“And I think I definitely, we’ve discussed this before, you guys, where I chose men that were not like my dad, that were not that kind and that gracious and that great.”
Meanwhile, Shannen has debated getting an emotional tattoo tribute to her late father, but she decided against it due to risk of injection.
She was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 before going into remission two years later, but she revealed the disease had returned at Stage 4 in February 2020, while last summer she revealed it had spread to her brain and become terminal.
She recently said: “I want one like right down my side. I’ve been wanting it, my dad’s name.”
But she added: “I’m just like it’s alright, I don’t need it. It’s also once you get, you know, like I can’t get infections — there’s a whole, not like you’re gonna get something from the tattoo.”

Nina Dobrev working on ‘physical therapy’ after devastating injury

OHMYGOSSIP — Nina Dobrev is focused on her “physical therapy” as she recovers from a dirt bike accident.
Last month, the ‘Vampire Diaries’ star needed knee surgery after suffering a brutal injury when she lost control of her dirt bike, and now she has given fans an update on her day to day life following the incident.
In three separate Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of herself on the couch with a leg brace on and wrote: “In case you have been wondering what I’ve been up to.
“Eat. Sleep. CPM machine. Physical therapy. Repeat. If you’ve had this injury you know what a CPM is…the rest of you won’t.”
According to the NHS, a CMP (Continuous Passive Motion) machine is an electronic device that “slowly helps your knee to bend” following surgery.
Healthline adds that the machine “passively moves a joint through a pre-set range of motion” and “may be used after surgery to reduce joint stiffness and improve range of motion”.
Appearing on ‘The Talk’ last week, the 35-year-old actress opened up on her surgery and injuries as she made her first public appearance since the accident.
She said: ” had knee surgery; I got a giant brace. I can’t really walk on my own yet…I had a fractured knee as well as ACL repair and meniscus.”
During her appearance on the talk show, Nina admitted it was her “first time actually leaving the house in over two months”, aside from a recent hospital visit.
Last week, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star told how her surgery had been a “success”.
She wrote on Instagram: “Surgery was a success. Thank you to everyone who has been sending kind messages, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes.
“I have been feeling the support and positive energy. It means more than you will ever know.”
Before going under the knife, Nina admitted she was “scared” to have the procedure.
She added on her Instagram Story: “Anyone else get scared before surgery? I’m such a baby when it comes to needles, blood or procedures of any kind.”
In a video she shared with followers, the star showed herself leaning forward and writing “Yes” with an arrow on her knee.
She said: “Fun fact: they make you draw on whatever extremity is being operated on to confirm that is the correct limb.
“(Because I guess it’s happened in the past that some surgeons have accidentally operated on the wrong limb.) Yikes!!! (sic)”

The ‘Monsters Ball’ actress, 57, is said to be set to display the torch down the Croisette in Cannes, France, on Tuesday (18.06.24) ahead of the Paris Games’ kicking off next week.
A source told Page Six Halle will “make her way through from 11am to 1pm local time”, with the famous French Riviera boulevard currently taken over by the Cannes Lions festival.
The insider added the event will be “shut down temporarily” for Halle’s torch run.
It comes as Halle has been campaigning for menopause awareness.
She has said about the issue: “The shame has to be taken out of menopause. We have to talk about this very normal part of our life that happens.
“Our doctors can’t even say the word to us, let alone walk us through the journey.”
The actress made the statement in a press conference at Capitol Hill in Washington. D.C., on Thursday (13.06.24), where she was joined by a group of bipartisan senators to push for legislation that would put $275 million towards research and education around menopause.

The mother-of-two added: “The shame has to be taken out of menopause. We have to talk about this very normal part of our life that happens. Our doctors can’t even say the word to us, let alone walk us through the journey.”

“That’s when I knew, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve got to use my platform.’
“I have to use all of who I am and I have to start making a change and a difference for other women.”

Kevin Costner insists he’s not ‘shoved’ any of his kids into showbiz

OHMYGOSSIP — Kevin Costner has not “shoved” his children into the entertainment business.
‘The Bodyguard’ actor, 69, has sons Hayes, 15, and Cayden, 17, as well as daughter Grace, 14, with his former wife Christine Baumgartner, 50, as well as children Joe, 36, and Liam, 26 with his exes Cindy Silva, 67, and 62-year-old Bridget Rooney respectively.
He has now spoken about not being a pushy showbiz parent after he decided to cast his son Hayes in his epic new Western movie ‘Horizon: An American Saga’ despite the teen lacking any acting experience.
Kevin told the ‘Today’ show about Hayes playing Nathaniel Kittredge in the first of the four-part Civil War-era film without an audition: “He’s a beautiful boy, and he’s quiet. And I have not shoved my children into the business.
“I realise there are so many young actors out there that would just kill to be in this movie, and I don’t want to take those parts away from them just ’cause I can place my own children in.”
Kevin also admitted his decision was “selfish”, but said Hayes’ role only required two weeks of filming.
He added: “But, in a sense, it was a smaller part. I selfishly wanted him with me for the week, two weeks, he was with me. And we would drive to the set every day and he would whisper.
“He didn’t have a lot of experience, but he’s really beautiful in the movie.
“(His is) a really complicated scene. In the end, there’s a nobility – there’s an absolute fatalness about it. It’s what you want in a son.
“It’s what you don’t want a son to do, and at the end of the day, you’re proud that he would make that choice,.”
Kevin told in April how the character he plays in ‘Horizon’ was an inspiration for Hayes’ name.
He told Entertainment Tonight: “I named him after the character I play in this. My character’s name is Hayes Ellison.
“And I named Hayes that character. So I was watching him grow up and I was thinking, ‘Man, I better get with it and make this movie.’”
Kevin last month brought five of his seven children to the Cannes Film Festival, saying he needed a “tour director” to keep them in line.

Chris Hemsworth reveals heartbreaking reason for acting and his fears career is ‘killing him’

OHMYGOSSIP — Chris Hemsworth thinks his career could be “killing” him after getting into acting to help his parents.
The 40-year-old actor has opened up on how he pursued a career on the big screen after seeing his mother and father struggled with money when he was younger, and he wanted to help them get “out of debt”.
Speaking in new Disney+ docuseries ‘Limitless’, he explained: “If I’m totally honest, I did acting to get my parents out of debt.
“It could be killing me. When I first started acting, my parents had very little money.
“Talking to my dad about when he’s going to be able to pay the bank off and him saying, ‘Never, we’ll die having to pay it off’, that really bothered me from a young age.”
He still suffers from “stress” and “anxiety” to this day when he finds himself taking on “too many projects” due to that same mentality.
He added: “What gives me huge anxiety and evokes stress is when I’m trying to take care of too many things, too many projects.
“I still have these thoughts of like, it’s all going to go away if I don’t say yes to these things.
“I can still feel stress eating away at me, and I don’t want it to rule my life.”
The ‘Thor’ star has discovered through testing on his ‘Limitless’ docuseries that his chances of developing the degenerative condition are eight to 10 times higher than average because he has two copies of the APOE4 gene.
He is taking steps to look after the health of his brain with his grandfather Martin dying of the disease, and his dad Craig, 68, showing early signs.
Chris recently admitted he has always been prone to overthinking, which has led to feelings of anxiety, but his mother Leonie used to help keep him distracted from a young age.
He told the Sunday Times Culture magazine: “She would say I was letting something consume me.
“The danger for me is if I’m bored or become stagnant. Then I’ll find problems that aren’t there.
“I wouldn’t [call it depression]. I have anxiety that I have to quickly figure out how to appease — like everybody I face these emotions screaming for attention, so it’s about keeping them balanced to stop me falling into problematic emotional states. Mum was always very good, when I was growing up, at reminding me of that.”

Celine – who has sons René-Charles, 23, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 13, with late husband René Angélil – thanked her family as she shook to the stage at the event.
In an emotional speech, she said: “Of course, I wouldn’t be here without the daily love and support from my wonderful children.
“Thank you, René-Charles. Thank you, Nelson. Thank you, Eddy. Thank you very much.”
As well as thanking her physician Dr. Amanda Piquet and the documentary filmmaker Irene Taylor Brodsky, Celine – who admitted it was the largest crowd she had been in front of in years – also had some kind words for her fans.
She continued: “And thanks to you, my fans, your presence in my journey has been a gift beyond measure. Your never-ending love and support for all the issues have delivered me to this moment.”

She explained: “One of the stories you will hear from me in this movie as I was reading, learning about my condition.
“I compared myself — and I’m not saying this because we’re in New York — but I compared myself to an apple. Oh, it sounds like we made it up, but I did, and I was in Las Vegas.
“When I said to myself that I compared myself to an apple from a tree, [I said], ‘I don’t want you [fans] to wait in line anymore if I don’t have any shiny apples for you.’
“So a couple of days ago, I saw a message from a fan and it said, ‘We’re not here for the apple. We’re here for the truth.’ ”
Celine wiped a tear from her eyes as she reflected on her friendships, and her son René-Charles brought her a tissue on stage.
She said: “I cannot believe how fortunate I am to have my friends in my life.
“Thank you to all of you from the bottom of my heart for being part of my journey. This movie is my love letter to each of you.”

Taylor Swift ‘splashed out on massive takeaway spread for crew’

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift reportedly ordered 45 kebabs for her entourage at Wembley Stadium.
The 34-year-old singer is starting a seven night sold out run at the iconic London venue on Friday (21.06.24) and she is said to have already splashed out on a huge £450 order from London takeaway Kentish Delight, including scores of large chicken doner kebabs.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “They’ll be collected by someone from her team on the night.
“It’s a big order but the kebab house can handle it.”
They even offered some insight into how the ‘Anti-Hero’ hitmaker likes hers to be prepared.
The source added: “Taylor adds garlic sauce to hers, as well as heaps of salad.”
It’s said each of the doners contains 1,000 calories, with 55 grams of fat and 69g of carbohydrates.
Taylor has some history with the takeaway too, having previously visited there with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.
It’s no surprise that Kentish Delight has become an attraction for her fans, as she also returned there to film the video for her track ‘End Game’.
Earlier this month, the ‘Bad Blood’ singer treated her crew to a huge Greggs order as she opened the UK leg of her Eras Tour in Edinburgh, Scotland.
According to reports, she splashed out on thousands of pounds worth of treats from the bakery, including sausage rolls, steak bakes and desserts a as part of her backstage catering.
A source told The Sun: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw the Greggs van rolling up to feed Taylor and her crew.
“You’d expect a billionaire to be ordering champagne and caviar but the fact she’s got sausage rolls and steak bakes is amazing, she’s gone right up in my estimation.
“Who doesn’t love a Greggs sausage roll?”
Taylor has been known for similar displays during other stops on the tour, making sure to spend some money on local delicacies.
A spokesman for Greggs cheekily commented: “Wouldn’t that be amazing, we couldn’t possibly confirm.”

Daniel Radcliffe would only encourage his son to be an actor on one condition

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Radcliffe would only encourage his son to be an actor if he could do it without being “famous”.
The 34-year-old star rose to fame at just 12 years old when ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ was released in 2001, and he insisted while he “wouldn’t wanna stop” his 14-month-old son from chasing his dreams, he has reservations about him following in his famous father’s footsteps.
Asked if he’d encourage his boy when he’s older, he told E! News: “Not unless he really wants to.
“I don’t wanna stop him from doing that, but if you can do something other than acting – if you can do something behind the scenes, it’s a lot healthier life in a lot of ways.
“I dunno, if he can act and not be famous, then great, I can encourage it.”
The ‘Lost City’ actor – who has been performing on Broadway in ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ – admitted fatherhood has changed him in so many ways, and made him more emotional.
He laughed: “We don’t have time [to list all the ways]! It’s the best, it really is. I cry a lot more, in a nice way.
“But it’s just the best thing that ever happened to me.”
Daniel played Harry Potter in the movie franchise for a decade from 2001 to 2011, growing up in front of the world, and he wants the young stars cast in the upcoming reboot to get a chance to “be kids still”.
Asked if he has any advice for those who will be playing the young Hogwarts students in Max’s upcoming TV series on the red carpet at the Tony Awards, he told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’ve got advice for everyone else. Just like, let them be kids still.
“I can’t imagine what it would have been like to do that in the age of social media. We were kind of a little bit before that.”

Denzel Washington wanted to ‘protect’ Whitney Houston on set of ‘The Preacher’s Wife’

OHMYGOSSIP — Denzel Washington wanted to “protect” Whitney Houston when he worked with her on ‘The Preacher’s Wife’.
The ‘Man on Fire’ actor, 69, starred as Dudley alongside the tragic singer in the Oscar-nominated 1996 film, in which Whitney played Julia Biggs – 16 years before she died aged 48 from accidental drowning, with contributing factors of heart disease and cocaine use.
Nearly three decades after the movie came out, Denzel said at his African Black Film Festival retrospective about feeling protective towards the ‘I Will Always Love You’ performer: “I felt like I always wanted to protect her.”
The event’s host Chaz Ebert – who is the widow of the late film critic Roger Ebert – added: “There was a vulnerability that you saw.”
Denzel asked: “So you really got that?” and when Chaz, 71, said she did, the actor went on: “Well, of course. I always felt like I wanted to protect her. You know?
“She wanted to be so tough, but she really wasn’t. That’s all. Okay.”
‘The Preacher’s Wife’ was a remake of 1947’s ‘The Bishop’s Wife’ and also starred Courtney B Vance, Jenifer Lewis, Gregory Hines and Justin Pierre Edmund – while Lionel Richie, Loretta Devine and Whitney’s mother Cissy Houston also had roles.
Whitney is said to have grown close to several of the cast, and Courtney, 64, who played her husband Reverend Henry Biggs in the family film, has said he was in awe of the singer.
He added: “I loved her so much. For me to be playing her husband, I was in a state of euphoric shock.
“It was a turning point in my life and Whitney was a huge, huge part of that.
“We just were on sets together and respecting each other.
“But I didn’t go into the depth of what was happening in her life.”
He also admitted he was too devastated to attend her funeral, adding: “It might have hurt my spirit. And I have in my mind our time together and it was beautiful.”

Justin Timberlake arrested for ‘driving while intoxicated’

OHMYGOSSIP — Justin Timberlake has been arrested for “driving while intoxicated” in The Hamptons.
The 43-year-old pop star was driving through Sag Harbor in the Long Island seaside community after enjoying a meal out with friends but had allegedly been drinking before leaving the restaurant, although there was “no drama” at the scene.
A source told DailyMail.com: “Justin was out to dinner with friends and there were cop cars stationed outside the restaurant, like there are most nights.
“They look for people who are leaving after midnight who might have been drinking.
“Justin left at 12:30AM and was pulled over as soon as he left. Nobody was hurt and there was no drama at the scene.”
One enforcement official said they expected Timberlake to be arraigned later on Tuesday (18.06.24) but did not provide any further details regarding the case.
The ‘Cry Me A River’ hitmaker – who is married to former ‘7th Heaven’ star Jessica Biel and has Silas, nine, and Phineas, three, with her – is on tour and is currently due to play two back-to-back shows in Chicago later this week before heading to Madison Square Gardens in New York City.
The news comes just weeks after Jessica, 42, revealed how she and her husband managed to cope while he was away on the road.
Speaking on ABC’s ‘The View’, she explained: “It’s always a work in progress, right? It’s constantly trying to find the balance, trying to find the time we can connect. Thank goodness for Zoom and Facetime. For parents who are gone a lot, that has been really helpful. Just finding the time we can connect and see each other in person or get him with the kids.
“We’ve never done this before with two, I’m exhausted. There’s been four shows. I don’t know how he’s gonna do it or how we’re gonna do it but we’re gonna get through it, somehow, some way!”

Tom Hardy played ‘Bikeriders’ hardman as ‘tragic clown’

OHMYGOSSIP — Tom Hardy played his hardman character in ‘The Bikeriders’ as a “tragic clown”.
The ‘Warrior’ star, 46, plays gang leader Johnny in the Hells Angels-style drama, and said it is in his nature as an actor to portray the opposite of any stereotypes associated with his characters and always look for their flaws.
He told Variety: “You look straight away at a biker movie and think, ‘Oh, it’s leather. It’s sexy. The music’s great. The hair’s great.
“The obvious choice is to play to all of these. So the obvious choice for somebody like me is to go to the counterpoint of all those.
“This guy is a tragic clown.”
Adding about what he looks for in his parts, Tom went on: “Where’s the pathetic element? Where’s the wretch? Where’s the embarrassing moments? Where’s the weaknesses? I need to flesh this guy out.
“Why is the voice a little bit creepy? Why is it a little like Bugs Bunny? What can we imbue this stud with that’s so un-studly that I can identify with it? Because I’m not that!”
Tom felt Johnny’s weakness was on show in a scene early in the film – which is out on Friday (21.06.24) – when he is seen watching ‘The Wild Ones’ with his wife and children and imitating its star Marlon Brando’s tough guy character as he tries to start his biker gang.
He said: “I thought that was very sad. This is a grown man with kids, copying a young, genius actor in a very provocative movie that he’s got a connection to. “It’s like singing Justin Bieber songs in the shower. Pick someone: Amy Winehouse, Ian Brown, Jimi Hendrix… mimicking an icon, going, ‘I identify’, but not having your own personality.”
Tom also said he fears he failed to get Johnny’s mid-west accent right in the film, adding: “I’m not sure that I did nail it. One of the things that I hold myself to, as a principle, is that you’ve got to make an effort to create a vocal silhouette, as well as the physical silhouette.
“Accent work is not about phonetics or being accurate, to me. It’s about conjuring an atmosphere from a place which is authentic.”

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco reunited: ‘She’s back’

OHMYGOSSIP — Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have reunited after being kept apart by her work.
The singer and actress, 31, has been away from the 36-year-old music producer – who she has been dating since June 2023 – as she attended the Cannes Film Festival to promote her new film ‘Emilia Perez’ and filmed the latest series of her hit show ‘Only Murders in the Building’ in New York.
Benny marked their reunion by posting a snap of Selena as she closed her eyes and rested on a white pillow: “She’s back.”
The pair’s reunion comes after Selena said she was planning to adopt a baby before she met Benny.
She told Time about resigning herself to being a single mum: “I was alone for five years and I got really used to it. A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it.”
Selena added she then “came up with my plan”, which was for her to adopt at the age of 35 if she “had not met anyone”.
She said about things changing when she met Benny: “It just happens when you least expect it.”
Selena added her new partner has tuned out the “noise” when it comes to “hurtful” things trolls say about her body.
She said: “I know what people can do to people I love. My own fans, who I adore and feel like have shaped who I am, will say the most hurtful things to me about how I live my life.
“But he has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him.
“It’s really impressive, and I just cherish every moment with him. I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon.”
Selena took her romance with Benny, born Benjamin Levine, public in December, and he told earlier this month how his “next goal” is to have children with the actress.
He told ‘The Howard Stern Show’: “That’s my next goal, to check the box (of having a family.)
“I have a ton of godkids; I’ve got a ton of nephews. I love being around kids.”
Selena’s close friends and family are said to be convinced she and Benny are in their relationship for the long-term.
One insider told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “She feels very at home and at ease with Benny.
“Their friends, family and loved ones on both sides are all supportive and happy to see what they think could be an amazing and long-lasting relationship between the two of them.”

The 45-year-old ‘Ordinary People’ singer – who has children Luna Simone, eight, Miles Theodore, six, Esti Maxine, 17 months, and Wren Alexander, 11 months, with his 38-year-old wife Chrissy Teigen – opened up about how he worships Ronald as he told how he has always been his “role model”.
He says in the upcoming TV series ‘Raising Fame’, which is out on 7 July: “I’m a lot like him. Our personalities are very similar.
“Our disposition is very similar. We’re both very laid back, calm, able to, you know, whenever life gets hard, we’re able to figure it out, and not get too overly raw emotionally.
“And just keep a clear head and figure out what we need to do.”
Revealing how his father has helped him become a better dad, John went on: “I think he’s been a role model to me as a father because he was a single dad for a while.
“And just seeing the dedication he had to our family, seeing the creativity he had for our family, just kindness and love and just great example of integrity and character that he always set for us.
“That’s why he’s my role model. I always tell him that I want to be a dad like him.”
When asked if he had applied lessons learned from Ronald to his parenting, John said: “I find myself sounding like him a lot of times. I’m like, yes, I can tell I’m his son.”
John previously told People how his father was crucial in shaping his character.
He said: “My father taught me about character. He taught us by example. He always conducted himself with such grace and dignity. My parents always taught me that if you’re going to succeed in life, part of success is having humility.
“It’s a good way to live life, treating other people the way you want to be treated.”
Chrissy told People about how John has taught their kids to get in touch with their emotions: “There is no, ‘Be a man’ in our house. There’s no right way to be a man, and John is so good about showing them through how he treats me how to be a good man, how to be a good father. It’s wonderful to see.”

The 46-year-old former glamour model claims a thief broke into her “mucky mansion” in West Sussex and ransacked the place before allegedly attempting to sell her belongings on, but Katie has declared he has since apprehended by police.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: “Thank you to Sussex police for finding the guy who not only broke in to my house but who also stole a car load of my belongings and was caught while he was boosting about trying to sell my stuff and how he broke into my property last week… I’ll keep you updated.”

Trying to break into my house.”
Sussex Police later told The Sun newspaper: “We received a report of suspicious behaviour involving a possible break-in at 9pm on June 4. Officers attended the scene and two men were searched. No items were found. The men were given words of advice and released.”

“I can’t wait to get out of that house I’ve had nothing but bad memories in that house for nine years. I hate the Mucky Mansion, I never want to see it again and I can’t wait to move into my new place, I am so excited. New beginnings, new start, reset button, I love it.
“But don’t worry, I’ll be featuring my new house on my YouTube channel when I get the keys and welcoming you to my new house, I can’t wait, I just want to get rid of all the bad stuff in the past and have a fresh start.”
Katie bought the mansion in 2014 from Conservative Party politician Francis Maude in 2014 for a reported £1.35 million.

Andrew Scott battled lisp as a child

OHMYGOSSIP — Andrew Scott battled a speech impediment as a child.
The ‘Sherlock’ actor, 47, has revealed he had a lisp when he was younger, but he managed to shake it off after his parents signed him up for acting classes to help with his shyness, as well as elocution lessons.
He told Variety: “I used to go to these drama classes on a Saturday, and I would be fully shaking before you go in. And then you’d have to get up in front of your other seven, eight-year-olds, and do an improvisation, or say a poem or something.
“I don’t feel like it’s an overstatement to say that I think it’s completely changed my life – not just my career. I had a really bad lisp when I was a kid, so I had to do elocution lessons. I had to go, ‘He sees seashells by the seashore,’ and I just completely got rid of it.”
He added: “Just to wrap that shyness thing up, somebody said a really brilliant thing to me, which was, like, ‘There’s nothing wrong with being shy. Be shy. It’s a nice thing you go a little bit red’.”
Andrew made the revelation in a joint interview with Brie Larson, who revealed she also used acting to become more confident as a shy child.
Brie explained: “My parents were chiropractors, and I was super shy. I wouldn’t let it go. Of course, it’s changed the course of my life in so many ways.
“But at a time when I was so shy and had such a hard time expressing myself, at 6 years old, I was basically given, like, ‘OK, here’s a script for how you have a conversation’.
“The actual fibre of how I understand how to have pleasant conversations with people is based upon weekly acting sessions.”
Brie added that shyness still affects her as an adult, adding: “I blush very easily. It’s horrible.”
