OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has been welcomed as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs “kingdom”.
The 34-year-old pop singer has been dating NFL star Travis Kelce since 2023, and Clark Hunt, the owner and CEO of the team, has revealed that Taylor is now a fundamental part of the fanbase.
Speaking at an Athletes in Action event in Ohio over the weekend, Clark shared: “She is absolutely [part of the Chiefs Kingdom].
“She is in Liverpool this week and we had a ring ceremony a couple of nights ago, which she stayed up for – it was about 4am in Liverpool – and she sent a social media communication that used the word, ‘we’, so she is definitely part of the team’s kingdom.”
Taylor watched Travis, 34, and the Chiefs lift the Super Bowl crown in February, when they beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Las Vegas.
And Patrick Mahomes, Travis’ teammate, recently claimed that Taylor has helped to make the Chiefs a “worldwide team”.
Speaking to Time magazine, he explained: “[The Chiefs] went from a nationwide team that was kind of global to a full global worldwide team. That came from Taylor’s fanbase.”
Despite her fame and success, Patrick has been wowed by Taylor’s down-to-earth attitude and her work ethic.
The 28-year-old sports star – who is one of the best players in the NFL – said: “I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life. Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long.
“She’s never not working. Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks.”

OHMYGOSSIP — John Cena intends to be “physically active” for as long as possible.
The wrestler-turned-actor has pushed himself to his physical limits throughout his life, and John doesn’t have any intention of slowing down anytime soon.
The 47-year-old star – who rose to prominence in the WWE in the 2000s – told PEOPLE: “When I was a young 12-year-old, it was to look muscular so I couldn’t get beat up. And then as a late teen, it was to be strong so I could play sports. And then as a young 20-something, I wanted to aesthetically look good just to keep myself disciplined.”
John now has different reasons for working out. However, he intends to remain active “into [his] late 80s or 90s”.
The Hollywood star shared: “At 47 now, my goal is to be physically active until I can’t. I put a number in my head of like, I’d like to be physically active into my late 80s or 90s. To do a parallel squat in my late 80s.”
John acknowledges that his legendary wrestling career is “coming to an end”. But fitness will always be a key part of his life.
John – who joined the WWE in 2001 – said: “I know my WWE journey is coming to an end, but fitness was a part of my life long before the WWE journey started.
“Fitness will be a part of my life, hopefully as long as my heart’s beating. So the WWE has been a great chapter in my life – it’s year 23 for me – and the sun’s setting on that chapter in the book, but fitness will never not be a part of my life.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Whoopi Goldberg once ate cat treats at 2am.
The 68-year-old actress accidentally ate the treats in the middle of the night, after mistaking them for pretzels.
Whoopi said on ‘The View’: “I got home. Perhaps I was a little more jet lagged than I realised. I was not high. I had nothing to drink.
“It is two in the morning and there are these wonderful pretzels called Dot’s Pretzels, which I love. So sometimes you know when you get a bag of Dot’s Pretzels, they’re broken in half.”
The Hollywood star subsequently explained that Alex Martin, her daughter, was partially to blame for the confusion.
Whoopi continued: “So my kid decided that she was to leave some cat treats on the other side of my bag so that if the cat wanted some treats, she could get up there and get some because I wasn’t going to get up.
“But this daughter of mine put a bag of the cat treats, she put them right next to the Dot’s! So 2am, you know what’s coming…”
Whoppi recalled feeling a bit disorientated because of her jetlag.
She then added: “I reach over and I pour some Dot’s in my hand and I put ‘em in my mouth. I’m chewing. [These may be] a little stale!”
Asked if she thought they were simply a new flavour, Whoopi replied: “No, no. I just poured some more in because maybe I thought, you know, bed mouth. You know, because sometimes you wake up and you got something in your mouth and you’re like, ‘Who is this?’

OHMYGOSSIP — Usher doesn’t eat on Wednesdays.
The 45-year-old music star has revealed that his unusual diet has been inspired by his grandmother.
Speaking to WSJ. Magazine, Usher shared: “I fast, not for religious purposes, but it’s something my grandmother practised.
“I fast on Wednesdays. I typically try to start around 11pm the previous day, then go the entire day on Wednesday just drinking water.”
Usher is similarly particular about his exercise routines, too.
The award-winning star explained: “I don’t like to eat breakfast before I’ve worked out or done something physical, taking a walk, stretching or doing yoga, sitting in the sun and raising my body’s natural heat levels. Then I eat.”
Usher revealed that he likes to have a varied workout routine, ensuring that he exercises as many of his muscles as possible.
He said: “Normally, my workout regimen starts either walking or with certain knee activations and reverse walking that I do to really engage my quads, my knees and glutes.
“Other than that, swimming is a really good thing to get me going, and bike riding. Weight lifting, don’t do a lot of that.”
Meanwhile, Usher recognises the importance of his mental and emotional wellbeing.

The 28-year-old singer released ‘Dopamine’, her long-awaited debut album, earlier this month, and Normani has now revealed her ambitions behind the project.
Normani – who shot to stardom as a teenager as part of Fifth Harmony – told Vogue: “It was important for me to explore all of the layers of myself as a human being, and as a woman.
“We’re capable of feeling many different emotions at once, and being many different things at once, while still remaining true to ourselves.
“I know what it’s like to go through heartbreak. I know what it’s like to be in love and feel euphoric.
“Either way, it was important for me to feel like I had space to be vulnerable and to really talk about something real that I experienced deeply.”
Normani wants to be recognised as a “genre-less artist” in the long run.
The ‘Motivation’ hitmaker is also determined to prove her “versatility” as an artist.
She shared: “Sonically, I would say I naturally gravitate to darker-sounding things. And I love pop music, so it has nothing to do with genre. I didn’t want to make an RnB record or a pop record, because I want to be considered a genre-less artist.

OHMYGOSSIP — Sir Ian McKellen has been rushed to hospital after falling off stage.
The 85-year-old actor was performing in ‘Player Kings’ at the Noel Coward Theatre in London on Monday (17.06.24), when he lost his footing and fell off stage.
The audience was evacuated from the theatre and the show was subsequently cancelled.
One audience member told the BBC that the incident was “very shocking”.
Sandro Trapani added: “I really hope that he is going to be alright. As far as I saw, he was conscious because he was asking for assistance.”
McKellen – who plays John Falstaff in the production – was in the midst of a fight scene when the incident occurred.
The veteran actor cried out in pain after he fell off stage and theatre staff rushed to help him.
‘Player Kings’ began its 12-week West End run in April, and McKellen previously admitted that he was relishing the opportunity.
He told the BBC earlier this year: “Actors who have taken on the role say it is verbally very challenging – it seems that the role was written for a particular actor and comedian in Shakespeare’s time, so it’s a bit like being given a script for Michael McIntyre.”
The production was due to move to Bristol, Birmingham, Norwich and Newcastle in the coming months, and McKellen was looking forward to touring the country.
He said: “The play itself has so many settings across England, from the taverns of the East End to the rural peaceful countryside of Gloucestershire and so it only makes sense that we take this show all around, giving the opportunity to as many people as possible to see it.”

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Hill experienced a “roller-coaster of emotion” after suffering a miscarriage.
The 34-year-old model – who is married to investor Daniel Fryer – has revealed that her miscarriage took a toll on her mental health.
During an appearance on the ‘On Purpose With Jay Shetty’ podcast, Taylor shared: “About three years ago, I had a miscarriage. I’ve never spoken about it before. My family knows and my close friends know.”
The brunette beauty never actually planned to get pregnant, and she recalled feeling “shocked” and “sad” when her pregnancy was confirmed.
However, Taylor and her husband – who was in the UK amid the COVID-19 pandemic – were both ultimately left feeling devastated by their loss.

OHMYGOSSIP — Carrie Underwood is “unharmed” following a fire at her Tennessee home.
The 41-year-old singer, her husband Mike Fisher and their two sons – Michael, nine, and Jacob, five – have all emerged unscathed, after a blaze broke out at Carrie’s home on Sunday night (16.06.24).
A spokesperson for the country music star told PEOPLE: “There was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained. There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”
Williamson County Fire/Rescue, who dealt with the blaze, has also issued a statement via social media.
The statement – which was posted on Facebook – read: “Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation. There are no injuries at this time.”
Meanwhile, Carrie previously described her work-life balance as a “wonderful mess”.
The chart-topping singer – who has been married to sports star Mike since 2010 – admitted that she loves being able to spend time with her children, even while she’s touring the world with her music.

The 56-year-old singer – who was forced to stop performing after being diagnosed with the rare neurological condition in 2022 – stepped out on Monday evening (17.06.24) at the New York City premiere for her new Amazon Prime Video documentary ‘I Am: Celine Dion’.

She explained: “One of the stories you will hear from me in this movie as I was reading, learning about my condition.
“I compared myself — and I’m not saying this because we’re in New York — but I compared myself to an apple. Oh, it sounds like we made it up, but I did, and I was in Las Vegas.
“When I said to myself that I compared myself to an apple from a tree, [I said], ‘I don’t want you [fans] to wait in line anymore if I don’t have any shiny apples for you.’

Meanwhile, anyone who had tickets for tonight’s show will be contacted about the next steps, with the performance cancelled to give the stage and screen icon time to recovery.
The statement continued: “The production has made the decision to cancel the performance on Tuesday 18 June so Ian can rest.
“Those affected will be contacted by their point of purchase as soon as possible tomorrow.
“Thank you to doctors Rachel and Lee who were on hand in the audience and to all the venue staff for their support.”

The 46-year-old Puerto Rican singer – who is often referred to as the “King of Reggaeton” – took to Instagram to reveal in his native tongue that he is battling a type of the disease, which he did not disclose, but has vowed to beat.
He wrote in a translated caption alongside a picture of his Orlando hospital wristband: “Today yes, but tomorrow I won’t have cancer.
“Good intentions are well received. See you soon. #f*** cancer.”
The Latin star is best known for classics including ‘The Last Don’, ‘Dile’, ‘Dale Don Dale’, ‘Danza Kudro’, ‘Pobre Diabla’, and ‘Salió El Sol’.
Omar started his career in the 1990s, when Reggaeton was banned from radio and television by the Puerto Rican government.
It was accused of containing “aggressive, sexually explicit and obscene messages”.
He has released eight studio albums between since 2003, and won more than 30 awards, making him one of the most decorated artists in the genre.

OHMYGOSSIP — Céline Dion is convinced she will get back to performing amid her Stiff Person Syndrome battle as she is “well surrounded” by loved ones.
The 56-year-old ‘My Heart Will Go On’ singer was forced to stop performing following her 2022 diagnosis of the rare condition, and she has now opened up about how she is leaning on loved ones to make such a dramatic recovery she will be able to get back on stage.
She told Australia’s ‘Sunrise’ morning show in an interview to promote her ‘I Am Céline Dion’ documentary, which is in cinemas from Tuesday (18.06.24): “I’m well surrounded, my voice is coming back, my passion has never left, my voice is getting stronger. I’m going to come back on stage. I can’t wait.”
Céline told in the same chat how her children are worried she will be killed by her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
She added: “I don’t have my mom. I don’t have my dad. My kids are scared because they lost their dad.
“They’re wondering if I’m going to die.”
Céline had her three sons – René-Charles, 23, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 13, with her music producer husband of 22 years René Angélil, who died from throat cancer aged 73 in 2016.
Her illness causes progressive muscle stiffness and repeated muscle spasms.
The singer was first hit symptoms in 2008, but they worsened by 2021 when she had to postpone her Las Vegas residency due to “severe” spams and she later cancelled her ‘Courage’ world tour.
She also recently admitted she did not “take the time” to understand the early symptoms of her Stiff Person Syndrome.
She told broadcaster Hoda Kotb, 59, on the ‘Today’ show: “I did not take the time I should have stopped, take the time to figure it out.”
Referring to how she was caring for ill René at the time she was suffering, she added: “My husband as well was fighting for his own life. I had to raise my kids, I had to hide. I had to try to be a hero.”
But she added about her symptoms becoming too unbearable to stop sharing with her loved ones: “Feeling my body leaving me, holding on to my own dreams… I could not do this anymore.
“Lying for me, the burden was too much. Lying to the people who got me where I am today, I could not do it anymore.”
She added her stiffness can also sometimes feel like parts of her body are locked into place, saying: “It feels like, if I point my feet, they will stay (there.)
“It’s cramping but it’s like in a position where you cannot unlock them.
“I have broken ribs at one point because sometimes when its very severe, it can break.”

Dwayne posted the video of his Father’s Day gift as pictures emerged of him getting back to work on his MMA movie after he ruptured his bursa sac during its making.
He was left with a huge purple bruise after he ripped a pouch of fluid on his elbow, which he showed off in an Instagram post.
But snaps came out this week of him back on the set of ‘The Smashing Machine’ in which he wears a false nose and wig to play mixed-martial arts and UFC champion Mark Kerr, who had his rise to fame derailed by an opioid addiction.
He stars in the film alongside Emily Blunt, 41, and he said on Instagram he was planning to let “pain and tequila” guide him through his injury recovery.
Dwayne added alongside a snap of his bursa sac bruising: “Elbow got kissed by the boo boo monster. No extensive tissue damage.
“Ruptured bursa sac that will eventually heal. I’ve had much worse, and as always let pain – and tequila – be the guide. Back to work.”
