Lily Allen’s relationship with her kids is ‘much better’ now she’s sober

OHMYGOSSIP — Lily Allen’s relationship with her kids is “much better” now she’s sober.
The 39-year-old pop star/actress is mother to two daughters – Ethel, 11, and nine-year-old Marnie – with her ex-husband Sam Cooper and she’s admitted she’s been a much better parent to the girls since she gave up booze and drugs.
She told the Guardian newspaper: “I’m a much more connected and present parent, which is amazing. I got a text from Ethel yesterday and she was very clear: these are the things I’m feeling, I’m sad, I’m upset because of this.
“And I was, ‘Oh my God, I’m winning at life! She’s naming her emotions and she’s asking me for help’. My relationship with my kids specifically is much better since I got sober.”
Lily admits drugs were a big part of her life for a while and although she misses the highs, she is glad to be rid of the lows.
The ‘Smile’ star added: “Drugs and alcohol were very good at drowning out my inner critic. When you take cocaine you think all of your ideas are brilliant and need to be shared …
“I can really miss those extreme highs. Like I miss being on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury and rushing my t*** off.
“I know that I will never experience that again, and there’s a sadness that comes with that. But I am level. I’m no longer having really terrible, long periods of time of absolute despair.”
It comes after Lily’s mum Alison Owen recently opened up about her daughter’s wild child past – confessing she feared Lily would go off the rails and die young like fellow singer Amy Winehouse, who passed away aged 27 after suffering alcohol poisoning.
Referring to Lily’s former hellraising actor dad Keith Allen, 70, Alison told The Times newspaper: “Lily fitted the bill because, early in her success, her role model was her dad.
“She’d seen him idolised for swearing, taking drugs and being drunk in the Groucho Club (in London), so in her young brain she thought that’s what you did when you became famous.
“She didn’t realise it’s only OK for men. Women get punished for it.”

Armie Hammer ‘grateful’ for cannibal rumours

OHMYGOSSIP — Armie Hammer is “grateful” for the “hilarious” rumours about him being a cannibal.
The ‘Call Me By Your Name’ actor denied accusations of rape and physical abuse by a woman named Effie in 2021, who he had allegedly been in an on/off relationship with for four years and who shared graphic texts allegedly sent by her famous lover on Instagram, prompting other females to come forward and claimed he had made “weird” remarks about wanting to “eat” them.
Though Armie acknowledged the allegations “killed” his career, he is now able to reflect on the time with gratitude.
Speaking on the ‘Painful Lessons’ podcast, he said: “People called me a cannibal, and everyone believed them. They’re like, ‘Yep, that guy ate people.’ Like what? What are you talking about? Do you know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to eat people! How am I going to be a cannibal?! It was bizarre.
“Even in the discrepancies, in whatever it was that people said, whatever it was that happened, I’m now at a place in my life where I’m grateful for every single bit of it.”
The 37-year-old star explained he “never knew how to give myself love” or “self-validation” before the scandal because he “had this job where [he] was able to get it from so many people.”
He added: “I’m actually now at a place where I’m really grateful for it because where I was in my life before all of that stuff happened to me.
“I didn’t feel good. I never felt satisfied, I never had enough. I never was in a place where I was happy with myself — where I had self-esteem.”
Armie – who split from wife Elizabeth Chambers, the mother of his children Harper, nine, and seven-year-old Ford, in 2020 – admitted the accusations caused “an ego death, a career death” and he eventually joined a 12-step programme and is now in a better place.
He added: “It’s almost like a neutron bomb went off in my life.
“It killed me, it killed my ego, it killed all the people around me that I thought were my friends that weren’t — all of those people, in a flash, went away.
“But the buildings were still standing. I’m still here, I still have my health, and I’m really grateful for that.”
In the wake of the backlash, Armie fled to the Cayman Islands and admitted there were a number of times he considered taking his own life.
He said: “There were a lot of times when I thought, ‘I can’t take this any more.’ And I hit really low, dark points.
“I was standing on the shore and I just looked out at the ocean and thought, ‘Yep, this is it,’ and I just swam out really far … and was just laying there … [in] a half-a**** suicide attempt … [But I thought] I can’t do that to my kids.”
The ‘Social Network’ star admitted his acting career now is “nowhere” because he’s “not a viable commodity” for the “Hollywood system” but he is working on a screenplay with a friend.

Daniel Radcliffe wants new Harry Potter stars to be allowed to ‘be kids still’

OHMYGOSSIP — Daniel Radcliffe has urged people to let the young stars cast in the ‘Harry Potter’ reboot “be kids still”.
The 34-year-old actor shot to fame playing the titular boy wizard in the movie franchise from 2003 to 2011 and he admitted he is very grateful he didn’t have to grow up in the spotlight during the age of scrutiny through social media.
Asked if he has any advice for those who will be playing the young Hogwarts students in Max’s upcoming TV series on the red carpet at the Tony Awards, he told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “I’ve got advice for everyone else. Just like, let them be kids still.
“I can’t imagine what it would have been like to do that in the age of social media. We were kind of a little bit before that.”
But Daniel – who won the Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his turn in ‘Merrily We Roll Along’ at the Tony Awards on Sunday (16.06.24) – hopes he can meet the new Harry Potter when they are cast and offer them some guidance.
He added: “I don’t know. Hopefully, I will meet whoever that person is one day and I’ll be face to face.”
The ‘Woman in Black’ star previously ruled out having a cameo role in the series.
He told ComicBook.com: “My understanding is that they’re trying to very much start fresh and I’m sure whoever is making them will want to make their own mark on it and probably not want to have to figure out how to get old Harry to cameo in this somewhere.”
Some fans have been hoping Daniel might make a little appearance alongside Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), but he doesn’t think it’s on the cards.
However, the ‘Miracle Workers’ star insisted he wishes the team “all the luck in the world” with bringing the ‘Harry Potter’ books to life for a new audience.
He added: “So I’m definitely not seeking it out in any way.
“But I do wish them, obviously, all the luck in the world and I’m very excited to have that torch passed. But I don’t think it needs me to physically pass it.”
The new series was announced by Max – formerly known as HBO Max – in April last year, with each season of the show focusing on one of the seven books.
They are expected to air over a decade as the actors grow old with the characters, while author JK Rowling will serve as an executive producer alongside Neil Blair and Ruth Kenley-Letts.

The Kardashians ‘don’t need to create storylines’

OHMYGOSSIP — The Kardashians “don’t need to create storylines” for their reality show.
Kim Kardashian along with her siblings Khloe and Kourtney, half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and mum Kris Jenner shot to stardom on E! show ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ and they now appear in a new version called ‘The Kardashians’ on Hulu and executive producer Ben Winston is adamant the famous family don’t need to whip up drama to keep viewers hooked.
He told The Hollywood Reporter: “There’s always something interesting going on in their lives. I think it’s fair to say that the E! Show, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’, was a reality show about the existence of this family.
“What we’ve made, and this might be overblown, is a docuseries about six fascinating businesswomen who are hugely successful and hugely famous and how they cope with what’s actually happening in their life.
“We’re not searching for storylines, like other reality shows might have to. There are already so many interesting things going on — both in their lives and on their schedules. That’s what a reality show should be. We don’t need to create storylines that an audience knows are not true.”
He added of reality star family: “They really are such a delight to work with. I know I sound like I’m saying this because it’s an interview. But they really work hard, so it’s a joy to film.”
The fifth season of the show debuted in May and is currently on-air, and Ben revealed they are already shooting for season six.
Ben has previously insisted the show could continue running for years into the future and could even cover Kim’s daughter North West right up until the time she gets married, but he admitted he does worry they may run out of ideas eventually.
Speaking during a Hulu FYC event, he declared: “What scares me and what excites me about this show is I’ve got no idea what [the next seasons are going to be about] which for a controlled maniac, you are like, ‘Oh god, what if they do nothing? What if they just want to watch TV?’”

Kerry Katona ‘downsizing’ as she moves into ‘forever home’

OHMYGOSSIP — Kerry Katona is moving into her “forever home” to “downsize” now her kids are starting to move out.
The former Atomic Kitten star is mum to five children, but her eldest daughter Molly, 22, is now living in Dublin where she’s studying drama and Lilly, 21, recently moved in with her grandparents in Ireland leaving just Heidi, 17, Max, 16, and DJ, 10, living at home so Kerry and her fiance Ryan Mahoney have decided to move into a smaller house.
In her column for OK! magazine, Kerry explained: “By the time this column is out, we will have the keys to our new home – not that we’re prepared at all! But we do have movers coming this week and we won’t move out of our house straight away, so there isn’t any rush.
“I’m really sad to be leaving this house and downsizing but I know it’s for the best – especially for the future and buying my forever home.”
Kerry added she expects her daughter Heidi to move out soon after she finishes school because she’s planning to attend a performing arts college in Liverpool, so they just don’t need as much space any more.
She wrote: “Now that Lilly has gone to Ireland it’s just DJ, Max and Heidi in the house so we don’t need much room any more, especially as Heidi will be leaving once she finishes school.
“Although I have to say, Lilly has been in Ireland for one week and hasn’t stopped calling so she might want to come back home sooner than we think!”
Lilly – who dad is former Westlife star Brian McFadden – previously opened up about growing up in the spotlight, admitting the family moved around a lot but she had a happy childhod.
She told DailyMail.co.uk: “We were so blessed because we had amazing experiences … Growing up with a big family was so beautiful, we moved a lot and had a very different life and people tried to hate us but when you have a family like ours it’s just such a strong and loving system.”

Meghan doesn’t regret changing son’s name

OHMYGOSSIP — Meghan Trainor is “so glad” she changed her son’s name.
The ‘Dear Future Husband’ singer – who has Riley, three, and 11-month-old Barry with husband Daryl Sabara – had a last-minute change of heart when it came to her younger boy’s moniker and she has no regrets about the decision.
She told The Guardian newspaper’s Saturday magazine: “My son’s name was going to be Bruce Barry and we changed it to Barry Bruce. And I’m so glad we did.”
The 30-year-old singer hasn’t finished having children yet because she wants two daughters.
Asked who would play her in the film of her life, she replied: “My daughter, my nepo baby. I want two daughters – that’s my dream.”
Meghan is very close to her loved ones and after she and Darryl got married, they went on honeymoon with her “entire family”.
Discussing the most expensive thing she’s ever bought, she said: “At the beginning of 2019, I brought my entire family with me on my honeymoon to Bora Bora.”
When it comes to memorable moments on holiday, the ‘All About That Bass’ hitmaker will never forget a trip she took with her family when she was 11 years old, but for the wrong reasons.
She recalled: “When I was 11, I went down a water slide and my bottoms didn’t go with me. Everyone saw my bare white butt.”
Meghan recently admitted she feared her career would be over when she first got pregnant, but ultimately her childrne have proven to be a
huge source of drive and inspiration.
She told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “When I got pregnant, I had that thought, ‘Is my career done now I am a mom?’ I thought that I couldn’t do both. But then I released ‘Made You Look’, and that song blew up.
“I had the best year of my career after my baby – because he inspired me to be the best version of me.
“Every morning I would walk in, just stare at him for about 45 minutes and think, ‘I’m going to get the healthiest I’ve ever been, be the most motivated, write the best songs I’ve ever written. I’m going to work my a*** off to show you that you can have it all, and you can live your dreams’.
“If you want something bad enough, work hard and get it done, because we’re doers. That’s what I say to my husband all the time.
“We’ve had some tough times, but I always say that I’ve survived two pregnancies and two C-sections, so there’s nothing I can’t do.”

Wiz Khalifa and girlfriend expecting baby girl

OHMYGOSSIP — Wiz Khalifa’s girlfriend is pregnant.
The 36-year-old rapper – who already has 11-year-old son Sebastian with ex-wife Amber Rose – took to Instagram on Fathers Day on Sunday (16.06.24) to reveal Aimee Aguilar is expecting a baby girl.
Alongside a casual photo of the couple, in which Wiz placed his hands on his girlfriend’s baby bump while she held a pregnancy test, he wrote: “Baby Girl On The Way.”
Amber was one of the first to publicly congratulate the couple.
She wrote: “We can’t wait to meet her! [heart eye emojis] (sic)”
And when Aimee, 29, shared the news on her own account, Amber wrote: “Gorgeous mama [heart eye emoji] (sic)”
The ‘See You Again’ rapper – who has been dating Aimee for around five years – recently attended Sebastian’s elementary school graduation with Amber.
The 40-year-old model shared a photo of herself and Wiz kissing their sons on either side of his head at the ceremony in June.
She captioned the Instagram Story post: “Our baby is growing up @wizkhalifa (sic)”
But Wiz – whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz – previously admitted Sebastian’s teachers “expect” him to show up to school meetings “stoned” because he wants them to “connect” with his real self.
Asked if he ever goes to parent/teacher conferences while high, he told Alex Cooper on the ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast: “Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it.
“They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day [where] you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed. I’m pretty sure my son smells like weed.
“I don’t know because I can’t smell it but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot.
“And yeah I’m pulling up stoned, I’m pulling up high because I want them to connect with the real me. They’re not going to get a fake version of me or this made-up parent that society makes you think that you’re supposed to be.”
The ‘Black and Yellow’ hitmaker insisted he would never change who he is to fit in with his surroundings because he wants to be authentic.
He added: “I am who I am, and it’s not because I’m a celebrity or anything.
“But it’s because it’s really what I believe in and why not get the real me? Why would I have to change who I am or act like I’m not that just for these places that I’m going to go? That’s not how I’m going to be living my life ever. Hell no.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs returns key to New York City

OHMYGOSSIP — Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has returned his key to New York City.
The ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ hitmaker – who grew up in Harlem – was honoured with the “symbol of civic recognition and gratitude reserved for individuals whose service to the public and the common good rises to the highest level of achievement” in September 2023 but he was asked to return the accolade after Mayor Eric Adams said a committee recommended “nullifying and rescinding” it in the wake of video footage from 2016 being released, in which the disgraced rapper physically assaulted then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
A letter seen by CNN saw the mayor declare he was “deeply disturbed” by the video.
He wrote: “I strongly condemn these actions and stand in solidarity with all survivors of domestic and gender-based violence.
The letter adds: “After internal deliberations, the Key to the City of New York committee recommended nullifying and rescinding Mr. Combs’ key.”
According to city hall, the key was returned to the city on June 10.
The move came shortly after the rapper had his honorary degree from Howard University revoked.
A statement from the board read: “The Howard University Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to accept the return by Mr. Sean Combs of the honorary degree conferred upon him in 2014. This acceptance revokes all honours and privileges associated with the degree. Accordingly, the Board has directed that his name be removed from all documents listing honorary degree recipients of Howard University.
“Mr. Combs’ behaviour as captured in a recently released video is so fundamentally incompatible with Howard University’s core values and beliefs that he is deemed no longer worthy to hold the institution’s highest honor.
“The University is unwavering in its opposition to all acts of interpersonal violence.”
In addition, the establishment – which Diddy attended from 1987 to 1989 – will also terminate a 2016 gift agreement made with the 54-year-old rapper, disband a scholarship that was established in his name, return his $1 million contribution, and terminate a 2023 pledge agreement made with the Sean Combs Foundation.
It noted: “No payments toward the $1 million pledge have been due or made by the Sean Combs Foundation as of this date, therefore no funds are due to be returned under the 2023 pledge agreement.”
After CNN published the video of Diddy attacking Cassie, he issued an apology for his “inexcusable” conduct via Instagram.
He said: “It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that.
“I was f***** up — I hit rock bottom — but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.”
Diddy has been subjected to multiple lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct in recent months but has denied the allegations against him.

Theo James appointed UNCHR Goodwill Ambassador

OHMYGOSSIP — Theo James has been appointed Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
The ‘Gentlemen’ actor – whose own grandfather fled Greece to Syria on a small boat during World War II – has been supporting the organisation’s work since 2016, having travelled to Greece, France and Jordan to meet with asylum-seekrs and refugees and he is “very proud” of his new role.
He said: “I am very proud to join UNHCR as a Goodwill Ambassador. The experience of my own family has given me an understanding of the sacrifices and struggles that refugees face.
“During the Second World War, my grandfather was forced to flee on a small boat from Greece to Syria, and his courage and resilience has inspired me to help make a difference to the lives of displaced people.”
The ‘White Lotus’ star urged people to welcome refugees and help them to “contribute” their skills and ideas to their new homes.
He said: “No one chooses to become a refugee. But we can all choose how to respond to people in need of sanctuary, whose lives depend upon it.
“Refugees arrive in new countries with skills, qualifications and ideas, they just need the chance to contribute. My grandfather was welcomed and offered shelter by the people of Syria, which enabled him to rebuild his life as a doctor and give something back.
“That is why it is important for me to stand in solidarity with refugees who have fled conflicts today and to help share their stories. They need our support now more than ever.”
UNHCR are delighted to have Theo on board.
Dominique Hyde, UNHCR’s Director of External Relations, said: “I am delighted to welcome Theo James as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNHCR, at a time when more people than ever before have been forced to flee their homes.
“As a long-standing supporter, he has shown genuine commitment and empathy towards refugees and has provided a vital contribution towards our advocacy and fundraising work.”

Perrie Edwards is ‘more confident’ without Little Mix

OHMYGOSSIP — Perrie Edwards feels “way more confident” without Little Mix.
The 30-year-old pop star has become the latest member of the group to launch a solo career since the band went on hiatus back in 2022 and Perrie insists branching out on her own has given her a major confidence boost because she’s having work without having the other singers as a “comfort blanket”.
She told Numero Netherlands magazine: “‘I’m just way more confident now I suppose, because I don’t have people to hide behind.
“I was used to having the girls as my comfort blanket, whereas now I have to step up. I have to push myself out of my comfort zone a lot more than I’ve ever done before.”
Perrie launched her first solo single ‘Forget About Us’ in April and it will be followed by ‘Tears’ on June 21 and she’s admitted every song on her upcoming album features very personal lyrics including words about her footballer fiance Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and their son Axl.
She added to the publication: “I took inspiration from everywhere in my life. I took inspiration from my relationship with Alex, my son Axel, past friendships, relationships.
“How being in love makes you feel, my anxiety, literally everything that I kind of feel I’ve been through I’ve put into a song on the album.”
Little Mix announced their hiatus back in 2021 with the trio confirming they would step back after completing their Confetti Tour in April 2022.
Since then, Leigh-Anne Pinnock has been releasing solo music while Jade Thirlwall recently shared pictures from the studio suggesting she’s hard at work on her own material.
However, the bandmembers have insisted Little Mix is not over for good and they plan to get back together in the future.
In a statement announcing the hiatus, they explained: “It’s been 10 amazing years, a wonderful non-stop adventure, and we feel the time is right to take a break so we can recharge and work on some other projects …
“We are not splitting up – Little Mix are here to stay. We have plans for more music, tours and performances in the future. We’ve made so many incredible memories with you all, and we can’t wait to make so many more.”

Johnnie Walker and his wife ready for his impending death

OHMYGOSSIP — Johnnie Walker’s wife is a “bit excited” about her life after the DJ’s death.
The 79-year-old broadcaster’s spouse Tiggy Walker revealed last week that her husband has incurable idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and was given between two and five years to live in August 2019 and while she “can’t imagine” life without the ‘Sounds of the 70s’ presenter, the 63-year-old producer is still looking forward to her own future.
She told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “When I married Johnnie, his career definitely took priority. There was even an infuriating perception among some BBC producers that I was lucky to be Johnnie’s wife.
“Now as I move into my 60s and [my film adaptation of] ‘Antonia’ is coming together, I feel I’m coming back into my power.
“I can’t imagine what it will be like with Johnnie not being here, but I will also be in charge of my life again. A bit of me is excited about that.”
Johnnie – who is now wheelchair bound and dependent on an oxygen machine – is happy for his wife to move on.
He joked: “I need to die quickly so that she can get on and make her film.”
Tiggy has already contacted an estate agent about their current bungalow home, noting “the brochures are ready to go” and is looking at a cottage a few miles away.
But she is adamant she won’t go looking for love again: “There will be no one after Johnnie. Because how could anyone follow him?”
The couple have even started selling off the veteran broadcaster’s clothes on online marketplace Vinted.
Tiggy said: “We have a right laugh about it. Some people have got absolute bargains – the other day we sold a lovely Richard James dinner suit for a song.”
And the couple have finalised all the arrangements for Johnnie’s funeral.
He said: “I don’t think we want to reveal the details. We need to keep a showbiz element of surprise. Although Tiggy has said that after the service she wants the hearse to go up the high street to the crematorium blasting out Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’.”
His wife added: “You’ll be on your own then, Johnnie.
“I’ll be with our guests. I don’t believe in holding your hand until the very last minute.”
Despite being accepting of his impending death and supportive of assisted dying, Johnnie insisted it isn’t the path he wants to take.
He said: “I’ve even said, if I get a chest infection, which would kill me in two or three days, I don’t want to go to hospital. I want to remain at home…
“I’m not afraid [f dying]. I believe in life after death. I know I’ll be able to look down on Tiggy. She’ll go through loss and sorrow but she will also be free.”
And Johnnie has no plans to stop working.
He said: “For many people, ‘Sounds of the 70s’ is part of their Sunday afternoon. As long as I can keep doing the show I will. It gives me a purpose. If I stopped doing it I’d probably die a lot sooner. Anyway, when you play records you are bringing back memories for people as well as playing records that they love.”

‘We wanted to see what a punk rocker looks like’: Toyah Willcox had ‘fabulous’ tea with Princess Margaret

OHMYGOSSIP — Toyah Willcox had tea with the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret because they wanted “to see what a punk rocker looks like”.
The 66-year-old singer-and-actress recalled a “bizarre” moment when she was “summoned” to see the late royals – who were the mother and younger sister of the late Queen Elizabeth – but they had an enjoyable afternoon, and she found the princess in particular to be “fabulous” company.
Toyah told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “One of the most bizarre moments of my life was in the middle of recording ‘Anthem’ and I was summoned to St James’s Palace with Katharine Hamnett, who is an all-time rebel, to have tea with the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret. I was wearing a Willy Brown dress, and my hair was bright orange with yellow streaks.
“We were told we had to say ma’am and curtsey, and the Queen Mother entered and sat on one sofa with another guest and Margaret sat on my sofa with me and Katharine and said, ‘Oh Hello… we want to see what a punk rocker looks like, ,which was just fabulous, especially as I realised later that Princess Margaret was probably the original punk rocker as she just rebelled and rebelled and rebelled. ”
Margaret was “fascinated” by how punk was creating opportunities for women.
Toyah added: “We talked about the philosophy of punk rock and how it was opening doors for women, and she was fascinated, and I met her many times after that and she was a wicked and very sharp woman.”
The ‘Quadrophenia’ actress also had a surreal encounter with former Phillippines First Lady Imelda Marcos, who wanted her to take her daughter under her wing.
She said: “I was friends with a Kuwaiti princess and once day she said, ‘Can you come over as someone wants to talk to you,’ so I went over to her house and suddenly found myself sitting opposite Imelda Marcos.
“My immediate thought was, “’What do I say to a woman who has 2,000 pairs of shoes?’ but it turned out that she wanted me to introduce her very gorgeous daughter to other celebrities and the upper middle classes.
“Obviously, I was aware of her reputation, but I have to say that she was respectful and kind, and I just knew it was one of those situations where you don’t ask questions.
“I think I introduced her daughter, who was a delicate flower and very well educated, to Lady Rothermere, and took her to a few parties.”

Kieran Culkin only knew he REALLY wanted to act 31 years after beginning his career

OHMYGOSSIP — Kieran Culkin only realised he “wanted to be an actor” 31 years after he started working.
The 41-year-old star had been on screen for most of his life but it took until he began filming HBO’s ‘Succession’ – in which he played Roman Roy – for him to realise it was truly his passion.
Speaking to Jesse Eisenberg on a Tribeca Film Festival panel, People magazine reports he said: “It wasn’t until about halfway through the first season of ‘Succession’ where I came home and told my wife, ‘I think I know what I want to do for a living, I think I want to be an actor.’
“I’d been doing it for about 31 years at that point.”
Because he began acting as a child, the ‘Home Alone’ actor admitted he reached a point where he did’nt feel that he had “chose to do this” as a career.
He said: “I had that sort of crisis at like 19, 20, which I think is sort of normal.
“I think a lot of people at that age are trying to figure out what the hell they want to do with their life.”
Working on ‘Succession’ meant Kieran had to let go of his usual way of working and desire to be “completely on book”, but after ignoring the “panic” he then felt, he found a “weird freedom” with his performance.
He said: “I went, ‘Fine, f*** it. I don’t know anything, and we’re just going to do it completely differently this time’.
“And I found a weird freedom in doing something completely unknown that I hadn’t done before and had been forced to trust people that it turns out were great.
“But that was, itself, that was its own sort of new experience.”
Kieran never used to like rehearsing or watching his own performance, but that all changed with ‘Succession’ as he needed to tune in to find out how the plot was being shaped as a result of what had been left on the cutting room floor.
He said: “I actually had to keep up with it because there’s so much stuff that didn’t make the cut or things that were no longer part of the show.
“Also, I was a fan of the show so I kind of wanted to see how it was gonna play out.”

Petra Ecclestone doesn’t have many friends

OHMYGOSSIP — Petra Ecclestone doesn’t have many friends in her adopted home of Los Angeles because she hasn’t really “clicked with anyone”.
The 35-year-old Formula One heiress moved to Beverly Hills with her first husband James Stunt – the father of her daughter Lavinia and twin boys James and Andrew – and she now lives in LA with her second husband Sam Palmer as well as their daughter Millie but Petra admits she hasn’t managed to form any close friendships since relocating from the UK.
She told The Times magazine: “I miss my friends and family [in the UK]. But it’s just more calm here. I like the slower pace, the early nights, the outdoor activities, the sunshine. And I feel less judged.
“The hard part is that we don’t have great friends. I haven’t really clicked with anyone. They just flake a lot. Everything is so surface. Sam meets more people. He’s a lot more outgoing and friendly.”
However, when asked if she feels lonely, Petra replied: “I have Sam and I speak to my sister [Tamara] about 100 times a day.”
She also thinks her famous surname may get in the way of forming close bonds with people. She added: “I’m so used to it [the way people’s attitudes change when hearing her name] I find it funny. Whereas Sam, when we first met, was taken aback by it.
“People always have some sort of proposition or something that they want out of us. Sam’s like, ‘They’re being fake’.”
The couple have made the decision to homeschool the children and Sam previously admitted he thinks it’s a great way for them all to spend time together.
In a post on Instagram, he explained: “We home school. We have teachers. And sport coaches. I was against it initially, but I have to say I really love it.
“We get to spend more time as a family. We get to choose what’s being taught to our kids. And it will certainly not include woke stupidity like I’ve seen in some schools.”
He also insisted the kids aren’t missing out on socialising with their peers because they go to sports clubs with other kids. He added: “There are four of them anyway so they are never alone, and also go to sports clubs.”

Gisele Bundchen ‘is feeling happy and secure’

OHMYGOSSIP — Gisele Bundchen feels “secure and happy” in her life.
The 43-year-old model believes she’s “blossomed” since her high-profile split from Tom Brady, her ex-husband, in 2022.
A source told PEOPLE: “She is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there.”
Gisele – who has Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11, with Tom – began dating Joaquim Valente following her break-up from the sporting icon.
The duo were recently spotted together on a cosy-looking stroll, amid speculation about their relationship status.
However, an insider has now told PEOPLE that they have a “close relationship – but not a serious love affair”.
Gisele announced her split from Tom back in 2022.
The model released a statement at the time, explaining that the celebrity duo had simply “grown apart”.
The blonde beauty said: “The decision to end a marriage is never easy but we have grown apart and while it is, of course, difficult to go through something like this, I feel blessed for the time we had together and only wish the best for Tom always.”
Meanwhile, Tom insisted that his children would be his number one priority moving forwards.
The sports star – who also has Jack, 16, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan – wrote on Instagram: “In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage. We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve. (sic)”

Taylor Swift ‘is part of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom’

OHMYGOSSIP — Taylor Swift has been welcomed as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs “kingdom”.
The 34-year-old pop singer has been dating NFL star Travis Kelce since 2023, and Clark Hunt, the owner and CEO of the team, has revealed that Taylor is now a fundamental part of the fanbase.
Speaking at an Athletes in Action event in Ohio over the weekend, Clark shared: “She is absolutely [part of the Chiefs Kingdom].
“She is in Liverpool this week and we had a ring ceremony a couple of nights ago, which she stayed up for – it was about 4am in Liverpool – and she sent a social media communication that used the word, ‘we’, so she is definitely part of the team’s kingdom.”
Taylor watched Travis, 34, and the Chiefs lift the Super Bowl crown in February, when they beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Las Vegas.
And Patrick Mahomes, Travis’ teammate, recently claimed that Taylor has helped to make the Chiefs a “worldwide team”.
Speaking to Time magazine, he explained: “[The Chiefs] went from a nationwide team that was kind of global to a full global worldwide team. That came from Taylor’s fanbase.”
Despite her fame and success, Patrick has been wowed by Taylor’s down-to-earth attitude and her work ethic.
The 28-year-old sports star – who is one of the best players in the NFL – said: “I’ve met a lot of famous people now in my life. Taylor’s probably the most down-to-earth person that’s been on that stage for that long.
“She’s never not working. Even when she’s taking her downtime, she’s working on something. Shooting a music video or singing a song or writing a song. You can see it by how she talks.”
